Who doesn't love a good hack?
Like with anything in life, people have found a way to cut some annoying corners when it
comes to gaming.
Whether they're hacks that help make your gaming habits less expense, hacks that cut
down unnecessary wait times or hacks that simply make your life significantly easier
when it comes to playing your favourite titles, there's a slew of tips and tricks that every
committed gamer should know about.
So today, we're taking a closer look at some of these with our list of the top 10
hacks every gamer should know!
10 Emulators!
Dying to play Pokemon red or blue again but can't find your old Gameboy?
Is your N64 long gone and dead, but you really wish you could play Ocarina of Time like you
used to?
Well, there's a very easy solution that will give you hours of satisfaction if you
don't want to hunt down an old console on eBay or Amazon.
Get yourself an emulator!
Emulators operate swell on PCs or Macs, and they're free to download.
You can even get them on your mobile phone if you give it a google.
If you're unfamiliar with the term, an emulator is basically a program that allows you to
play old games that you can download, typically from the same website depending on where you're
looking.
For Atari 2600, you can download Stella, which was named after the console's codename.
The JNES is an emulator for the original 8 bit NES, there's the PCSX2 for Playstation
2 games, and for Gameboy, there's a handful of emulators based on the system, like the
Visual Boy Advance for Gameboy Advance, DreamGBC for the Gameboy Colour and BasicBoy or the
gnuboy for the original Gameboy.
Most are open source, which is rad.
When searching for games, just google the game and the word ROM; ROMs are a computer
file which contains a copy of the data from a read-only memory chip, aka a game cartridge.
You can easily find libraries of ROMs online.
All you gotta do is use the power of the googles.
9 PS4 Controllers One of the most annoying thing that PS4 gamers
encounter on a frequent basis is having your controller die out.
If you don't have a second controller or a long enough cable to reach where you're
sitting comfortably, it can be oh so frustrating to have to pause and get up close and personal
with your screen in order to keep playing.
And if you had a PS3, you know that the PS4 controllers noticeably drain faster thanks
to the additional 'immersive' features they boast; the speakers and the light on
the back of the controller.
There's a way to minimize the amount of energy your controller consumes, though, which
may help with giving you more juice.
The trick is to go into your controller settings and dim the light.
While you're unable to turn it off altogether, it helps a lot.
You can also turn off the volume on the controller, too.
8 PS Vita Here's another trick for you Playstation
users.
Specifically those who went out and bought a PS Vita back in the day.
While the PS Vita is now seemingly useless, there's a fun way you can still use it with
your PS4 that makes that once silly investment actually worthwhile.
You can actually connect it to your PS4 and stream any of your console games into it with
the Remote Play feature.
You can also use it as an additional controller.
Once again, sync it up with Remote Play, log into your PSN account, and select the PS4
Link option on the menu.
Make sure your PS4 is on; the Vita will search for any PS4 consoles on the same network.
On your Ps4, go to Add Device, and you'll find a temporary code that you can then input
on your PS Vita.
It will sync up the image on your television or monitor, and allow you to use it as a controller,
making couch co-op that much more fun when you have a limited amount of controllers.
Neat stuff.
7 Cord Storage This is a prime example of a brilliant life
hack that makes your life much more organized; at least when it comes to the cords of your
various consoles, that is.
So you know the cardboard tubes that your toilet paper or kitchen roll is wrapped around?
Rather than toss them out (or recycle them, as you probably should), hold onto them.
Get yourself a box, load it up with the cardboard tubes, and then wrap up your individual cords
into a tube each.
May not be the most presentable way of keeping your cords organized and untangled, but hey,
its super effective.
And costs pretty much nothing; you're gonna have to buy toilet paper anyway, or at least
we'd hope.
To each their own, though.
6 More Memory If you have a large library of games that
you're flitting between all at once, lacking enough memory on your system when it comes
to console gaming can be a pain in the ass.
There's a couple of ways to maximize the amount of memory you have though.
For starters, getting an external hard drive is huge.
1 to 2 TB external drives are small, super portable, and will pack a major punch when
increasing the amount of room for need for new games.
You can easily plug it into one of the empty USB ports on your console.
Second, some people have actually plugged in a USB into those ports, which essentially
is the same trick but smaller in scale and even more portable.
The downside to that is that you'll need a USB with a large amount of GBs on it, otherwise
it's kind of useless.
Third, if you're having this problem with you PC, you could download software that helps
you manage and free up storage space by deleting temporary files.
Programs like CCleaner are a good choice for this.
To clean up the RAM, try using something like Razer Cortex, which closes unnecessary applications
and services.

5 Cleaning Consoles Have you ever had an issue with your PC or
your console where, all of a sudden, you load up a game and your system sounds like it's
about to take flight or just flat out blow up?
Well, that's because it's overheating, which is a direct symptom of there being too
much collected dust inside of it.
The easiest way of fixing this, or preventing it, is to clean out your system.
While dusting them off once a week is the best way to stop this from happening, if your
system already sounds like a fighter jet prepping to rocket out of your living room, you can
give this method a try.
The best way to remove dust is to literally open up your console.
Get your hands on some tiny screw drivers that are small enough to unscrew the tiny
screws keeping its shell together.
Now you could try a bottle of compressed air to get rid of the dust around the edges, but
you're going to want to be super careful with that method; it could shoot the dust
further into the system, making it worse.
And the opposite, sucking the dust out with a vaccum, could cause even more damage; you
might dislodge some of the more delicate components inside of your console or PC.
The best solution is to open it up and carefully use compressed air to get rid of the dust.
And obviously, do it when the system is off.
Also, qtips are your friends; they can be really useful when trying to remove any particularly
nasty guck stuck inside there.
It's also worth noting that if you can, keep your console out of closed off areas,
like tight shelves beneath your television.
It's the easiest way for dust to build up, which is pretty much inevitable.
If you can't, just giving it a clean once a week helps a lot, too, or invest in a custom
made dust cover for your system.
There's a slew of them you can buy on Amazon, and they kind of look like duvet covers for
your console, which is kind of adorable at least.
4 Button Remapping Are you someone who plays on multiple consoles?
Ever disliked the way a certain game's controls were mapped out, but you can't fix it in
the options menu in the game itself?
Well, fear not, there's a super simple way to get around that.
All you have to do is go into your consoles settings and remap the buttons.
Regardless of whether you're using a playstation or xbox, both consoles have options that allow
you to remap the controls or customize button assignments.
While it is tedious to have to constantly go back and adjust your preferences based
on what you're playing, at least if you're playing one game for a long haul, you'll
be able to play it how you want rather than be frustrated by accidentally hitting the
wrong button all the time.
You win some, you lose some.
3 Help Your Eyes Out If you game on your PC A LOT, and can go for
hours on end, you're probably no stranger to feeling your eyes strain from time to time.
If you game professionally, whether competitively or as a streamer, it's probably a common
occurrence for you.
And all that strain can actually cause damage to your eyes in the long run.
Gotta protect your peepers, people!
The best way to help put your eyes at ease is to get yourself some glasses to protect
them, buying something along the lines of Gunnar Optiks glasses.
These glasses are engineered to help eliminate digital eye strain and block out blue light,
ultimately making things easier on your eyes and stopping you from getting those annoying
headaches that strain can cause.
There's also cheaper options that you can find at places like The Source or Best Buy.
If you don't want to go all out and invest in a pair of glasses, another simple solution
is to download a program like Flux, which is free for both PC and Mac that adjusts your
screen's brightness and colour based on the time of day.
2 Ethernet Cable Having a rough time playing online?
Is your wifi connection sometimes spotty at best?
The easiest way to overcome this problem is by getting yourself an Ethernet cable and
directly connecting your console to your internet that way.
It will exponentially reduce any lag you have.
This is actually a good trick to do regardless of how confident you are in your wifi; it
just ensures that any online game will run as smoothly as possible at all times.
1 Download on the go Unless you're in school and have a solid
amount of free time to devote to gaming, it's probably safe to assume that you don't have
a whole lot of time on your hands.
So when you get a new game, you don't want to waste anytime downloading it; you probably
just want to jump in and play.
There's a hack you can try that'll allow you to do all of that tedious downloading
and installing business without actually having to be physically in front of your console
to initiate it.
If you purchase your games online with the PSN app or the Xbox Smartglass from your mobile
device, and link your account to the app with the hardware at home, you should be able to
'wake up' your system and download the game you purchased while on the go.
Oh the wonders of contemporary technology.

A New Kind of Northern Light | SciShow News - Duration: 5:07.
[ ♪ Intro ]
In places like southern Canada, a glowing, purple ribbon of light sometimes crosses the sky.
It's pretty faint, and it sometimes has these green spikes called the picket fence.
It's also pretty speedy, moving steadily east to west about six-and-a-half kilometers per second.
Citizen scientists and photographers have known about it for a long time,
because it keeps photobombing their pictures of auroras.
And after years of seeing it, they even gave it a name: Steve, after the scene from the movie Over the Hedge.
But they just assumed it was a funny kind of aurora, or at least something similar.
Then, in 2016, Steve caught the attention of professional scientists,
who realized this streak might be something new.
And last Monday, one team published a paper in Geophysical Research Letters with the newest explanation for it.
According to their results, Steve… is like nothing we've ever seen before.
It might be a whole new kind of northern light.
Even though citizens scientists kind of named this streak as a joke, scientists decided to roll with it,
and they formally called this light the Strong Thermal Emission Velocity Enhancement.
Which is pretty amazing.
They could immediately tell it was different from normal auroras for a few reasons.
First, auroras usually only appear at lower latitudes during periods of especially high solar activity,
but STEVE is a consistently lower-latitude event.
And its shape and speed don't really match other auroras, which tend to be broader, undulating structures.
Plus, auroras tend to be green or red; purple usually only shows up in extreme cases.
Because of this, scientists wondered if there was a unique mechanism at play.
Earlier this year, one team published the first explanation for STEVE.
They suggested it might be caused by something called a subauroral ion drift, or SAID.
SAIDs aren't auroras: Instead, they're fast, westward flows of charged gas associated with solar storms.
That sounds a lot like our purple streak, but STEVE doesn't only appear during solar storms,
and it moves much faster than SAIDs typically do.
SAIDs also rarely produce visible light emissions.
So in last week's paper, another team took a different approach to the mystery.
Since the SAID hypothesis already had some holes in it,
the group wanted to see if STEVE could be formally considered an aurora, even if it was an unusual one.
Auroras happen when energetic electrons and protons from the Sun precipitate through the Earth's atmosphere,
exciting those gases and making them glow.
So if STEVE is an auroral event, then scientists should be able to detect these particles when the streak appears.
The paper's authors used ground-based and satellite data taken during one of STEVE's 2008 appearances to try and hunt them down.
Except, there wasn't much, at least, in the way of energetic particles.
So that rules out STEVE as an aurora.
That means, at least right now, this purple light is in a class all its own.
It's just… a STEVE, probably driven by its own special mechanism.
But that doesn't mean we'll stop investigating it.
The next steps are to study more STEVE events,
since scientists have only really looked at two of them so far.
And ideally, that will help us not just understand this light,
but how the Sun creates different kinds of auroras in general.
While those scientists keep working on that mystery, another team is celebrating a new discovery.
According to a paper published in PNAS last Monday,
researchers have found direct evidence of water ice on the surface of the Moon!
And that could be big news for future explorers.
The new discovery was made thanks to Chandrayaan-1,
a lunar orbiter launched in 2008 by the Indian Space Research Organization.
Its payloads mostly focused on mapping and studying the Moon's composition,
and it did some really cool science for almost a year before a communication failure ended the mission.
The data for this new paper specifically came from the orbiter's M3 instrument,
or the Moon Mineralogy Mapper, which was built by NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
It's a type of spectrometer,
which means it measured the wavelengths of light that reflected off the Moon's surface
and used them to determine composition.
About ten years ago, back when Chandrayaan-1 was still active,
M3 found some evidence for water ice on the surface, which was really exciting.
But the evidence was pretty indirect, and it wasn't obvious just how much ice there was.
Plus, that data included water that was part of hydrated minerals,
so it wasn't pure ice or anything.
But now, things seem different.
This newly-analyzed data directly confirmed the presence of that ice,
and it also suggests that at least some of it could be pure water,
although more observations would help pin that down.
These ice deposits are scattered around the Moon's north and south poles,
and a lot of it is in shadowy southern craters.
There, it never sees the light of day, thanks to how the Moon is tilted relative to the Sun.
That keeps the ice from melting and makes the deposits relatively nice and accessible.
So far, we don't really know how all that ice got there or how old it is.
But this icy discovery is really promising for future missions.
As of right now, NASA is planning to send people back to the Moon,
so this ice could potentially become a source of drinking water.
But maybe more importantly, if we can split it into hydrogen and oxygen on a large scale,
it could also be used for rocket fuel.
The Moon could be an interplanetary gas station! Well, someday.
There's still a long way to go, but thankfully, that ice doesn't seem to be going anywhere.

Luffy & Zoro VS Holdem & Kaido Pirates - One Piece Chapter 916 Review - Duration: 6:09.
Based on Oda's words about the Wano Arc I did expect to be a war arc, but what we
got is the best romance story.
I would like to see an entire arc where Okiku breaks up with guys.
She is so funny but sometimes she looks like a psycho.
Oda is very good with this type of character, in the previous arc we had Pudding and Reiju.
Those two panels where you see Urashima crying, it looks like his heart got broken into pieces.
And to make things worse Okiku has turned her back and it looks like she does not care
at all.
Based only on those two panels you got to feel bad for Urashima.
And because of that, he wants to kill her now, his love did turn to hate.
It was so funny when Urashima screams to Okiku:"So, you betrayed me".
And she says:" Why did I do that in front of so many people".
She is acting so innocent and naive, she is such a psycho.
So far she is my favorite character in this arc.
Who is your favorite character in this arc?

Urashima is still raging about Okiku, so much that he tries to Hi-5 her, but it seems that
she does not know how to Hi-5.
And that's why she was just standing there doing nothing.
And Luffy sees this and says hey I know how to Hi-5.
And he does, and this is how you support a brother who got dumped by a psycho.
But Luffy did not stop there, he wants to help Urashima even more by wrestling with
him so he can forget about Okiku.
Even though he came here to rescue Tama but that can wait.
Because what possibly can go wrong?
If Urashima's heart was not broken into pieces before it did for sure when Okiku started
to cheer for Luffy against him.
Come on Okiku, to son, to son.
Stop jumping from man to man so quickly.
When Oda did introduce Luffy as a wrestler, did you know notice anything different about
Luffy on that panel?
Luffy looks bigger, it would be good if Oda will continue to draw Luffy like that, this
way he looks more like a fighter.
No wonder that he did defeat Usopp in a wrestling match if he can increase his body mas like
that.
Poor Usopp.
Urashima tries to attack Luffy with everything that he got but Luffy was able to dodge all
of them due to observation haki.
And then Luffy was getting ready to end this fight with only one attack and he is smiling.
And on the same page, we see a panel where Tama is being tortured by Holdem.
This chapter was fun until this point, Oda should do better to balance things out.
There is no need to cram so many things into one chapter, because then we as readers what
are we supposed to think or feel about this chapter?
I don't think it is possible to laugh with half of your face and cry with the other.
I know why Oda is doing this and it has nothing to do with the story and that's why I will
not talk about it because it is about the business aspect of these stories.
But he needs to balance things better.
Anyway, Holdem says something interesting about the past, he said: "20 years ago the
Kouzuki Family was planning to destroy this country.
They were nothing but a family of evil".
I think he is talking about Oden wanting to open the country to the world, and that's
why Holdem is saying that they wanted to destroy the country.
It is true that if Wano would open its borders a lot of things will change for the better
but also for the worse.
It seems like people like Holdem are only focused on the bad things, and that's why
he thinks that the Kouzuki Family was an evil family.
And then we get to see Hawkins and Law, it seems like Bepo went to the same school as
Tama.
About Hawkins, if he was after Luffy then why he did not chase him, it's not that
the lion-dog was running 200 kilometers per hour!
Anyway, Luffy did finish Urashima off with a super Hi-5.
He sent him flying, luckily for Luffy, Holdem's house was in the same direction that Urashima
Airlines was flying.
So, killing two birds with one stone.
Someone there does recognize that Zoro is wanted for murder.
And his response was epic.
So, what?
What are you going to do?
Fight me?
And then all three of them, Luffy, Zoro, and Okiku stop to pose.
And I only want to know when is the release date of their rap album?
Anyway, that scene with Okiku and Zoro is really fun but at the same time weird as well.
She looks so surprised and does ask Zoro what should I do?
I thought she was a samurai?!
So how come she does not know what to do?
She seems like a really interesting character I cannot wait to find out more about her.
When Zoro says to her:"…
I am not going to watch your back" her reaction is priceless, she looks so cute.
It is weird that Zoro still does not want to protect Okiku, the only explanation that
makes sense for his actions towards Okiku is Kuina.
Maybe he is seeing Kuina on Okiku, and that's why he is acting this way towards her.
Kuina was better than him when they were kids, and that's why he does not like to help
her and in a way, he is saying to her, try to hold your own in a fight like Kuina and
do not ask for help.
And then Holdem shows up together with Tama, the lion is holding Tama in its mouth.
And Holdem said:" Do not move an inch, I can crush her with these jaws at a moment's
notice".
This sentence is very interesting and it could mean two things for the story.
Number one: this means that Luffy and the others will do what Holdem says and they will
not fight for the time being in order to save Tama.
Number two: there will not be a fight because Holdem will go down by only one attack, so
the whole thing will last only one second.
And this is how he will not have the chance to do anything to Tama, because he will be
out cold before he realizes what is going on.
Luffy is fast but I don't know if he can knock out someone in one second.
And I don't think King's Haki will work on Holdem.
I think Zoro has a better chance since he can attack from far away.
But the most likely scenario here is that they will stand down and Law will come in
and save Tama without any problem.

10 Times WALUIGI was DISRESPECTED - Duration: 11:29.

If there's one character from the Mario series that doesn't have it easy, it has
to be Waluigi.
The poor dude, first introduced in Mario Tennis, has been the black sheep of the mushroom kingdom
for quite too long.
The last straw happened during the last Nintendo Smash Bros.
Direct, where Waluigi was literally humiliated once again.
But let me tell you that the disrespect goes far beyond what we saw so far.
And I'm actually sick of it, it's time that we shine light on all the times the guy
was bullied, humiliated and downright disrespected.
Hey, I'm Nico and here's 10 times where Nintendo disrespected Waluigi.
I'm gonna start this list with the obvious one, as it is the most recent occurence of
disrespect.
The Super Smash Ultimate reveal was pretty cool, but obviously, it lacked one important
character.
Nintendo used the punchline "EVERYONE IS HERE" to prove how ultimate this new Smash
Bros. will be, as it will feature all characters from the previous titles, as well as a couple
of new fighters.
The introduction of echo fighters also means the game can have more characters without
having to create new moveset to these characters.
This was shown with Daisy, who always was a color choice in the Smash series ever since
Peach's introduction in Super Smash Melee.
So, obviously, since Daisy is now an echo fighter to peach, we all expected Waluigi
to be revealed.
At the time of this video being released, it still hasn't happened.
But even worse than that…
Waluigi was eventually in the Smash trailer, yup, but as an assist trophy.
While being an assist trophy isn't something new for Waluigi, there's just something
that has been done to make him feel useless.
You see, in Smash Ultimate, you can now attack and defeat Assist Trophies by hitting them
with enough damage.
And of course Sakurai decided using Waluigi was the funniest way to show that.
Look guys, it's Marth the swordsman, killing Waluigi.
HA HA HA!
FUNNY ISNT IT?
No it's not funny.
NOT AT ALL.
It's downright bullying at this point.
And it's not even the first time that Sakurai himself made fun of Waluigi.
When assist trophies were revealed for Super Smash Brawl, they were a pretty cool addition
to the Pokéball, as you could now have all sorts of characters from the Nintendo universe
without having them as playable characters.
Waluigi was eventually revealed as an assist trophy, and at the time of Brawl, it was cool,
because Wario just had been introduced to the series, he was a newcomer, so although
being a little bit disappointing, at least Waluigi was acknowledged enough to be in the
game in some form.
When Super Smash For Wii U / 3DS started being developed, people started to actually wish
to see Waluigi as a playable character, as, at that time, he appeared in other spin offs
games like Mario Tennis, Mario Party, etc.
But alas, he was confirmed to be an assist trophy by Sakurai on Miiverse.
But take a good look at the Miiverse post.

Once again, Waluigi's Assist Trophy joins the collection!
Which also means he's not a playable character.
Just because you try hard doesn't mean you'll make it into the battle.
Wow, what a ****, seriously, Sakurai is so cold.
And that, added with the reveal in Smash Ultimate, it's obvious that Sakurai loves to hate
on Waluigi and to troll his fans.
This is truly disrespectful...
While the Smash Ultimate video was the most recent act of bullying done to Waluigi, he
was also mocked in the recent game Super Mario Odyssey for the Nintendo Switch.
One of the novelty in this game is the ability to change Mario's appearance with all sorts
of funny costumes.
And there's a Waluigi costume in this game, which is pretty cool.
But of course, Nintendo had to tease Waluigi in the description.
The Waluigi Suit reads : This outfit makes you want to lurk in the shadows, waiting for
a turn in the spotlight; They're acknowledging that it's long overdue that Waluigi gets
his own game.
The Waluigi cap description goes as follow : A cap with an upside-down L on it.
It's barely used.
The "It's barely-used" obviously mocks the fact that Waluigi doesn't appear in
a lot of games, so the cap is almost brand new.
That is not a way to treat someone Nintendo, you cannot keep bullying the guy.
Sometimes, you got to give credit where credit is due.
The Mario Kart series actually acknowledges that Waluigi exists, and that he deserves
his very own racetrack.
He was given a track called Waluigi Pinball in Mario Kart DS, and it's actually one
of the most creative and fun tracks in the entire game.
Well, the track made a return as a retro track in Mario Kart 7 for the Nintendo 3DS.
There's one problem though.
Waluigi was cut from the roster in Mario Kart 7.
Yup, you heard that right.
They decided to port over his fun track, but to cut him so that he may never experience
it again.
This is truly done on purpose to show that Nintendo doesn't care about Waluigi.
The excuse given by Nintendo is that they didn't have enough time to include him in
time for the release.
Yeah right, you had time to include Honey Queen and Wiggler as racers, but you forgot
to include Waluigi.
You think I'm stupid or what?
Waluigi is mostly known for his appearance in the Mario Tennis games nowadays, after
all, Mario Tennis on Nintendo 64 is the game where he first appeared, so that's why he's
associated with the series.
He has been a playable character in all of the games in this series, but there's a
catch.
In the Gameboy Color version of Mario Tennis, Waluigi must be unlocked using the Nintendo
64 transfer pack.
Nintendo forcing you to buy accessories to unlock certain things in games isn't something
new, (Amiibo), but that also means that he isn't able to be played in the Virtual Console
release of this game, because there's no way to have a transfer pack work with the
3DS.
This is completely stupid, they could have unlocked him from the start, it's just a
little modification in the rom file, it shouldn't be that hard, but yet Nintendo didn't feel
the need to do it.
After all, who cares about Waluigi?
There's one thing that truly makes Waluigi different from his buddies Mario, Luigi and
Wario.
And this might be the shocking explanation as to why Waluigi is being treated so badly.
He was actually not created by Shigeru Miyamoto.
During the development of Mario Tennis on the Nintendo 64, they needed to create partners
to characters and soon realised that Wario didn't have any partner.
They actually needed to create one.
Designer Fumihide Aoki San stepped in and created Waluigi.
That's right.
Shigeru Miyamoto didn't create the guy, so he might be the dark reason as to why Waluigi
is receiving such a poor treatment.
Waluigi is not Miyamoto's baby, he was created by someone else.
Is this why he's being bullied constantly by everyone and no one stands there to protect
him.
This is truly sad and disgusting, I mean… come on Nintendo ?!?!
Finding true love is something quite difficult, and Waluigi is also trying to achieve that.
According to the Mario Party 4 game guide, both Waluigi and Luigi have feelings toward
Daisy, but Daisy doesn't have any feelings toward Waluigi.
You could leave it at that and be done with it, but of course no.
After everything Nintendo has done, you think they're gonna stop?
When you pair up Daisy and Waluigi in Mario Party 5 and Mario Party 6 their team name
is called "Awkward Date".
Wow.
Daisy and Waluigi also have bad chemistry when paired together in the Mario Baseball
series.
And Waluigi is one of Daisy's rival in Mario Kart 8 and the Deluxe switch port.
Waluigi was also made as Daisy's rival in Mario Strikers charged.
And finally, in fortune street, Daisy hates Waluigi's shops, saying that the low-priced
shop is disappointing and that she isn't surprised the shop belongs to him.
Don't you think Waluigi has suffered enough Nintendo, did you really have to make fun
of his love stories, too...jeez.
Oh, and if you think Nintendo is only making fun of Waluigi in video games or online, you'd
be wrong too!
Nintendo has made a couple of Monopoly boards and Waluigi is on one of those boards, the
Monopoly Nintendo one.
And of course, Waluigi is actually the least expensive and least profitable space, once
again showing that Nintendo truly has no respect for the guy and they think he's pretty much
worthless.
Nintendo even made another more recent version of the board and has changed a couple of characters,
but Waluigi remains unchanged, he's still representing a worthless space.
Truly disgusting.
Finally, let's end the list with the most obvious reason.
Waluigi doesn't have his own game.
Mario has tons of games.
Luigi has his game series now with the Luigi's Mansion series.
Wario has 2 game series, Wario Land and WarioWare and a gamecube game called Wario World, but
Waluigi.
He has nothing.
Absolutely nothing.
No game, no series, no way to shine.
No respect from it's creators.
I feel like Waluigi is destined to be lurking in the shadow forever.
It truly saddens me.
At least Waluigi has fans online, people that believe he deserves better, people that think
he should be in the spotlight.
I mean, I like Waluigi and I think he deserves so much more.

In part two of the B2 First speaking test, you're going to compare two pictures.
And we're going to show you how to get a great mark.
Hi everyone.
I'm Craig.
And I'm Vicki and this is the third in a series of videos about the B2 First speaking test.
Formerly known and Cambridge First Certificate exam in English or FCE.
We'll put links below so you can see other videos in this series.
Today we're looking at part two of the test, where you speak about two photographs.
This part lasts four minutes.
Let's jump straight in and see it in action.
In this part of the test, I'm going to give each of you two photographs.
I'd like you to talk about your photographs on your own for about a minute, and also to
answer a question about your partner's photographs.
Jay, it's your turn first.
Here are your photographs.
They show people who are working.
I'd like you to compare the photographs, Jay, and say which job you think is the most
difficult.
All right?
In this picture I can see two fire fighters and a fire.
And in this picture there's a nurse and a baby.
There's a fire.
The fire's big.
It's orange.
I think the fire is hot.
There's some water in the picture.
There's a baby and a nurse.
The baby is small.
I think it's a hospital because she is a nurse.
Oh and she has hands.

Vicki, which job would you prefer to do?
It's hard to say.
I'd like both jobs because you can help people and even save lives.
But the firefighter's job looks a little more exciting.

I thought it was terrible.
He used very simple basic language and he didn't compare the pictures.
He also stopped speaking before the end of the minute.
He did everything wrong.
He wouldn't score a high mark.

So be ready to answer a question briefly about your partner's photos.

Now Vicki, here are your photographs.
They show people shopping in different places.
I'd like you to compare the photographs, Vicki, and say which experience would be the
most enjoyable.

Yes.
The bottom photo shows an outdoor market and the top photo shows a shopping centre or mall.
They show very different shopping experiences because one is outdoors the other is indoors.
I think they could both be enjoyable places to shop, but the prices might be better in
the outdoor market.
Perhaps that's why it's more crowded.
The mall looks like a more peaceful shopping experience.
They could be playing music there.
I'd prefer to shop in the shopping centre if it's raining and the outdoor market if
it's sunny.
One thing I don't like about the shopping malls is the shops are all the same.
I think there will be more variety in the market.
This outdoor market reminds me of a street market that I visited when I went on holiday
to the Philippines.

You need a stop watch and a recording device so you can listen back to what you said.
Remember to follow these three steps: Say what you see and compare the photos quickly.
How are they different and how are they the same?
Answer the question above the photos.
This is REALLY important.
If you still have time, personalise.
Give your opinion.
Say if the pictures remind you of things you've experienced.
If you stop speaking before the end of the sixty seconds, there may just be silence.
So try to keep speaking until the examiner stops you.

We're in the midst of building a 1800cc engine for our 1971 Euro Look Super Beetle.
In our last video, we assembled a crankshaft.
It is set aside for the moment so we can view the engine case and get ready to drop the crank
and the other engine internals into the case.
By the end of this video, we'll have the short block assembled and torqued together.
We have our freshly machined engine case back from the machine shop.
It's been machined half a millimeter, or twenty thousandths over, on the line bore
and the thrust area has been machined down to fix the previous ware.
The machine shop cut down the number one bearing, after the case was cut, to match the new thrust size of the case.
If your case needs machine work done to the thrust surface,
make sure that your machine shop cuts an appropriate sized bearing down for you.
Our engine case had been cleaned thoroughly and so we don't have to mention it every step;
every part we install is cleaned with parts cleaner before its fit or test fit to the case.
We start with the case already mounted to our engine stand, as it was in our last video,
and we'll begin by installing our new distributor drive gear shims.
Two shims are coated with assembly lube
and set inside the case on the drive gear shelf.
The pinion drive gear spring is pressed into place on the gear,
the gear is coated in assembly lube,
and slid into the engine case through the shims
and into the lower shelf inside the lower case.
For the next step ideally, you'll want to use the distributor that will be used in the engine later.
In our case, a new SVDA distributor from PerTronix with an Ignitor 3 module
is prepped with a distributor clamp.
The distributor, with the cap removed, is slid into the case and drive gear by rotating the distributor shaft
until it lines up with the gear.
What we're doing here is lining up the timing for top dead center for the number one cylinder.
At this point, wherever you point the rotor will be the number one top dead center.
We make note of this as originally VW distributors typically line up
in the opposite directions of aftermarket distributors.
Once we have the rotor pointing to where we would like the number one top dead center to be,
we attach the clamp to the case and install the rotor and distributor cap.
Next, we install new oil sup plate studs.
Note that the oil pickup stud is longer than the other studs
as it has a nut inside that holds the pickup tube in place.
I actually like to use the longer studs at all six holes
along with a nyloc nut inside the case to hold the studs in place.
I also put a little blue thread locker to ensure the studs will not un-thread when changing the oil years down the road.
With the three studs and nuts installed on each case half,
we can drop our crankshaft assembly in place into the left case half.
We've already installed all four dowel pins
and the number two bearing in the left case half
and the bearing is lubed.
The crank is lightly set into the case while holding the number one and two connecting rods.
With the crank in place, the three full circle bearings are rotated until they align with the dowel pins in the case.
We start with the number one bearing, then the front bearings are aligned.
With all the bearings lined up with the dowel pins, the crank will settle fully in the case.
We spin the crank over by hand to verify the bearings are set in place.
The bearings should not spin.
An additional check would be to set the remaining center half circle bearing onto the crank
and check for a gap by trying to push the bearing towards either side.
If the bearing moves, there's a gap and the other bearings are not lined up.
New lifters are covered with assembly lube
and we run a small bead around each lifter bore before dropping four lifters into the case.
Three new cam bearings are set into the case
noting that the cam thrust bearing, the only bearing that has lips on either side,
sits in the saddle closest to the oil pump bore of the case.
We can prep for the cam by spinning the crank over until the timing marks on the drive gear
are just above the split in the case.
The cam is set into place in the case
and the timing mark on the cam is lined up between the two marks on the drive gear.
With the cam in place, rotate the crank back and forth to check the thrust on the cam gear.
If the cam were to pop out of the case, you'd want a different camshaft as if the thrust cut
or the angle of the cut on the gear, is incorrect.
Our cam spins over smoothly and does not pop out of the case so we will continue.
A new camshaft plug
is coated with GasGaCinch around the perimeter
and set into place into the cam groove in the case.
The six main stud o-rings are slid onto the studs
down to the case groove and coated with a bit of assembly lube.
We're almost ready to set the right side case half in place.
So we get it prepped at the bench by installing the three remaining cam bearings into the saddles
and coat them with assembly lube.
Just like we did on the left side the lifters are covered with assembly lube, as are the lifter bores
and the lifters are dropped into the case.
The lifter clips are installed from the outside of the case
to hold the lifters in place when we lift the case over.
We apply GasGaCinch around the outside perimeter of the case
and wipe up any excess sealant.
The sealant only needs to be on the outer flat surfaces of the case
and into the cam plug saddle at the rear.
Now, its time to put the two case halves together for good.
The number one and two connecting rods are pointed straight up
and the right side case half is dropped onto the left side and tapped down gently.
The six main, and the two camshaft case washers are coated with aviation sealant
and set in place onto the studs which are coated with the sealant as well.
The case nuts are threaded on by hand
then a torque wrench is used to tighten the two 13mm nuts at the cam studs to 14-foot-pounds.
The six main studs are tightened in the displayed pattern.
Starting at the two center studs then crisscrossing each of the outer four studs.
In a step tightening sequence of 15, 20, and finally 24-foot-pounds.
Rotate the crank in between each step to make sure the crank does not lock up.
If the crank does not spin, stop.
Pull the right side case half off and check the alignment of the bearings and dowel pins.
All of the outside perimeter case bolts, studs, and washers are coated with aviation sealant
just like we did with the mains.
All the outside hardware, with the exception of the two nuts above and the bolt below the oil pump,
are tightened to 14-foot-pounds.
The nuts and bolts above and below the oil pump will be tightened after the oil pump is installed.
Next, we flip the case upside down and remove the lifter clips.
We'll install the pressure relief valves.
We start at the rear valve
and squirt some assembly lube into the port before lubing the valve and the short spring
and dropping them in, the valve going first with the open end towards the bottom of the engine.
We follow that by installing a new crush ring on the relief port screw and then threading that in place firmly.
We're going to run an oil temperature gauge so we swap out the stock screw
for a VDO temperature sending unit.
At the front bleed port, we'd normally install a valve, followed by the long spring and cap it with a gasket and screw.
However, we're going to install a bolt on full flow kit which installs at the front port
and does not use the valve or spring.
The kit consists of a threaded sleeve bolt which installs through a banjo fitting
and sealing washers install at either side of the fitting
before the assembly is threaded into the engine case.
The bolt head is tightened down while keeping the banjo fitting pointed towards the left side of the engine case.
We'll finish up the bottom side of the engine by installing the oil screen and sump plate.
I like to use an oil suction kit which has an aluminum sump plate
and a billet aluminum pick up extension.
The pick-up has a removable mesh screen that is held in place with a spiral lock spring.
The pick-up slides in first
and has internal o-rings for a very tight fit.
A single sump plate gasket is coated with GasGaCinch
and pushed into place onto the studs.
The sump plate is set onto the engine, followed by sealing washers and nuts.
The six sump plate nuts are tightened down to five-foot-pounds and we'll take a break here until our next video
where we'll drill, tap and install our g pump for the full flow system,
set the crankshaft end play,
and install the flywheel.

The International Space Station Is LEAKING - Duration: 2:53.
The international Space station is leaking after it was hit by a either a tiny meteorite
or space junk.
The crew aboard had to scramble to repair it, because if they didn't they would have
run out of air in just 18 days.
I'm going to tell you everything you need to know, here for you on IO.

After a drop in pressure was reported by mission flight controllers, the astronauts aboard
the ISS had to search for a tiny hole in the space station.
Finding this hole was extremely important because any hole, however small, would mean
that the air inside the iss would leak out, and the crew inside would suffocate.
This must have been an extremely difficult search because the hole was only 2 millimeters
wide.
The hole was in the Russian section of the station.
One at a time, the hatches to each module were closed, and eventually the hole was found.
Astronaut Alexander Gerst from the European Space Agency actually plugged the gap with
his finger, and then used duct tape to cover the hole.
That was only temporary though.
As much as our dads love to think duct tape fixes everything, it wouldn't be enough
to fix a hole in the ISS.
For now, Two Russian astronauts put a sealant on a cloth and stuck it on the hole.
The flight controllers on earth then noticed the pressure stabalize.
The sealant dried overnight but a long term solution is going to have to be found.
Unfortunately, its likely that this won't be the last time this happens.
Humans have a trash problem, not only on our planet, but also in space.
As you probably know, theres a lot, and I mean a lot of space junk orbting the earth.
Theres at least 23 thousand objects orbiting the earth from launches of satellites and
space craft since 1953.
A lot of those objects have broken up into smaller pieces, and there could be as many
as 750 thousand that are larger than 1 millimeter that are orbiting the earth at a speed of
30 thousand miles per hour.
Im actually surpised that this is the first time that a hole has been made in the ISS.
its clear something has to be done about the junk problem.
There are 6 astronauts aboard the international space station, all of whom could be in danger.
So far, a few ideas have been pitched to help make this happen.
The university of surrey as designed a litter picker that was sent to the ISS.
The litter picker is essentially a tiny spaceship that will try and capture space junk using
a net and a harpoon.
Hopefully this litterpicker works and it can get to work so that the objects that are orbiting
the earth can be collected.

Friday how's the intro really good okay
perfect I quickly want to introduce if
you guys are not familiar my name is a
Minh I live in a little Sprinter van and
this is our kitchen and we make recipe
videos every single Friday so today
we're coming at you with a highly
requested dessert now Beck and I don't
usually eat dessert Beck's behind the
camera she's gorgeous you can check out
some other videos to see her smiling
face when we do eat desserts it's kind
of like we just want a little bite at
the end you know like a little sugar hit
to get you going and if you're feeling
that vibe stay tuned I'm gonna teach you
how to make two energy balls they are
stupid easy no refined sugar they have
like four ingredients five ingredients
and you can sub things out if you don't
like certain ingredients you can't screw
this one up let's jump into it the first
type of ball I'm gonna show you is a
date base you guys have never had dates
before I don't usually eat them on their
own but they are delicious they're super
super sweet so we're not gonna have any
sugar to this one it's just gonna be
straight up the sweetness from the dates
awesome to start we're gonna grab about
a cup of dates and if your dates are
hard you can soak them in a little bit
of hot water for 10 minutes and then
just make sure you drain them off really
well
these ones aren't too bad they're pretty
soft now we're gonna have a hell of a
time here at the studio because we only
have a blender I would recommend if
you're at home and you have an S blade
mixer ting you know food processor
definitely use that this is going to be
an absolute disaster cannot wait to
clean it with cold water later we're in
a band we don't have hollow okay so I'm
gonna start by just shredding those down
clear it from all the sides because it
will start to stick the Vitamix killed
it a little surprised by that but that
is the texture you want this first
energy ball we're actually gonna build
it right in the blender we're gonna
start with a little bit of peanut butter
about maybe three tablespoons
somebody doesn't like peanut butter or
has an allergy I would recommend almond
butter cashew butter hemp butter pumpkin
seed butter any kind of butter
substitute 30 chocolate chips you can
count them out if you'd like 34 and a
little bit of oh action yeah hop and
then we're gonna put some hemp seeds
because like in a day you can't screw
this up like I said so if you've got
flax seeds throw flax and you got
chia-chia I got ham that's one that I'm
just putting like a anymore
boom boom bang we can throw it back in
there and let the blender do the work
keep your life easy peel it off the
sides this is why I would recommend the
s-blade this will work it just takes a
little bit more time just tasting real
nice one more time looks a little bit
like a crumb but once you roll that
together the date will stick it real
nice make sure you got nice and clean
hands unless you're just eating them
yourself and it doesn't matter I would
just grab like a little pinch like that
Cui's it nice and tight look at that
with your one hand and then you've got
this little ball packed full of protein
and goodness and natural sweetness I
think that's a really good size
something you can just pop in your mouth
after dinner you could bring a few of
these for lunch snack on them throw the
day great way to just get a little bit
of energy I'm gonna leave these two back
to get rolling and I'm gonna start with
my other ball I'm giving you two recipes
in one video guys smash that thumbs up
first you're gonna make noise you need
to leave
you can sit stay for 20 minutes so for
this one is even easier you don't need a
blender you're gonna use your hands for
your balls babe so to start for this one
we're gonna use a maple syrup pond a
maple and we're gonna do a boat boat a
boot I would say third over pail if you
don't have maple syrup or you can't
afford maple syrup that's cool you could
use any kind of substitute agave coconut
nectar anything you can find or you
could use regular sugar as well but
maple syrup is amazing we're Canadian we
can't afford it but we bought it so
we're starting with mixing all of our
wet as you can see peanut butter we're
gonna do about a 1/2 cup or basically
what's left in this jar you're not gonna
mess this up if you you know over or
under do an ingredient you'll be able to
try it and say hey look that's not sweet
enough or too much salt or whatever I'm
gonna go ahead and just whisk that up
these are total freestyle you guys
thought of yourself the last following
taste that Wow okay so the show's over
Rebecca and I are just gonna spoon this
into each other's mouths next we are
going to dump in some flax seed can by
ground or full-si this is golden flax
and all I did is just busted that down
in a blender two tablespoons of flax mix
our own we're gonna use some nice thick
rolled oats
feel free to sub if you're gluten free
for gluten-free oats I'm gonna put a cup
Buttercup in there and cocoa nut just
under a cup of coconut shreds we're just
gonna have a few dark chocolate chips
having a look at the consistency here it
looks fantastic but I think when I go to
actually mix those together it is going
to be a little bit too firm so what I'm
gonna do is just bust up a little bit of
oat flour my trusty dirty blender and
just a little bit of oats into a powder
and that's gonna help mix everything
together
that's old flour not only is this recipe
super easy to make it's oddly satisfying
to run your hand through sticky oats
so maybe that's another reason to try
this one about and I'm just kind of
needing it because I've heard someone
else say the word needing before and I
always wanted to use it I don't know if
I'm gonna be able to roll these so much
like I didn't really roll the other ones
but I kind of shape them into balls I
think that's easier the best thing to do
with your hand just call up your friends
Bruce Bruce and say hey Bruce Bruce
please clean my hands oh don't tell Mom
bris all right we've rolled our balls
they look amazing
so we got about 20 out of the chocolate
chip coconut ones and then the date
balls maybe a little bit less but of
course you could double triple quadruple
the recipe we've had like ball parties
where we've smashed out like 6070 balls
and then split up amongst the family get
a bit of an assembly line going super
fun thing it's very easy guys like this
is such an easy dessert great option to
show up at a friend's place if they
invite you over and yeah they're
absolutely delicious once again I would
recommend putting them in the fridge
even them cold serving them cold and you
can top them however you like as well I
hope you enjoyed the video I knew you

of exciting stuff coming up now that
we're back in Toronto I feel like we'll
have more time and energy and get a
little bit more creative on the show

Hi guys! I'm Nancy.
And this is my introduction to limits.
I will show you what a limit is.. how to read its notation..
and what it means on a graph.
So if you actually just wanted to know
how to find the limit from the limit expression, the x expression..
I have videos for those.
"How to Find the Limit" and "How to Find the Limit at Infinity".
And you can use the links in the video or in the description to jump to those.
But here, let me introduce you to limits.
So what is a limit?
It's basically just a prediction of what y-value it looks like we should get at a point.
That seems kinda vague, so let me show you what I mean.
Look at this graph and this limit question
The graph's a little strange, it has a hole in it, a gap, but that's completely possible.
What does this limit notation mean, when you see this?
Well, officially, technically how you read this is
"the limit, as x approaches 1, of f(x) equals" some number.
What does that mean? That means..
When x gets really close to 1, what is y getting really close to?
And the limit, the answer to the limit, is always a y-value.
So in other words, as x tends toward 1, or heads towards 1
what is y tending toward, or heading toward?
Another way of thinking of it is.. if we put in..
input x's really close to 1.. what kind of y's are we getting out? As output.
Why do we even need the limit by the way?
One reason is cases like this
where we can't "see" what's actually happening exactly at a point.
We can only just see what's happening around that point.
So how do you find this limit?
There's a hidden meaning here..
when you see something like this, the limit as x approaches 1
it actually means you have to check both sides of x = 1.
So it's not spelled out for you, it's not obvious
but there's this hidden implied meaning that you check
from the left of 1, and from the right of 1, in order to find the limit.
How do you check from the left of 1?
Well, on a graph it means
you'll trace x-values heading toward x = 1 from the left.
From the left side, so we're actually heading right.
But from the left side, towards x = 1.
But on the graph. Wherever that may be on the function.
So if we trace from the left, heading towards x = 1
what we really care about for the limit is y-values.
The vertical values.
So we need to check to see what y-values we're hitting
as we approach from the left.
And it will be numbers like 1.5.. 1.6.. 1.7..
Getting really close to 1.9.
And if we get incredibly close here and zoom in
we'll see numbers like 1.99.. 1.999999..
Really close to 2. Practically 2.
So the limit from the left is 2.
We also have to check from the right.
How do you do that?
You trace x-values from the right headed towards x = 1.
But on the graph. On the function.
So in that case, heading from the right
in this graph, kinda looks like heading down
but from the right, you check to see what y-values you're hitting.
And it will be numbers like 2.4.. 2.3.. 2.2.. 2.1.
And if you get really really close you'll see like.. 2.01.. 2.0001..
Basically 2. From the right, it's heading toward 2.
And the limit is 2, from the right.
This is great because
if the limit from the right is the same as the limit from the left..
2 and 2 for the y we're hitting..
then we can say that the overall limit is also 2.
We can write here that the limit..
is equal to 2.
Remember, that limit answer is always a y-value.
There might have been some x-value here..
but the limit always a y-value.
And one thing that confuses people is the equal sign..
Some people wonder, you know, why can you use an equal sign?
How can you say it's equal if you were just saying that it's approaching a number
or getting really close and not actually touching exactly the number?
That's a great question actually.
It's just the limit notation. It's just the limit language.
We can say that the limit equals a number
and it just means that that number is what the function is approaching.
And notice that I'm not saying that the function equals 2 at x = 1.
It's not that.
And in fact, if you look at the graph, there's a hole at x = 1.
We don't even know what the function equals.
It's not defined. It's indeterminate.
Even though there's this hole at that point.. x = 1
We can still say that the limit, as x approaches 1, is equal to 2.
OK. Here's where it gets even stranger.
Right now there's a hole here
and this function is not defined there.
What if I define it? And put a point above or below the hole?
That looks pretty weird.
But you'll probably see one like this.
This is meant to test your understanding of the limit.
Even though there's this point here where the function is defined at 1.
It's defined to be 3..
Turns out for the limit
we don't even care what the function is doing exactly at 1.
Even though there's this point up here.
For the limit, we only care what's happening just around 1
and not actually exactly at 1.
That's important.
So since, even though the point is there..
Since it's still approaching a y of 2 from the left and from the right
the limit is still 2.
OK. What if you have a very normal looking function like this..
Just a line.
And you still want to find the limit, as x approaches 1, of f(x).
Well, it's the same exact idea. The same thing that you do.
You see what's happening from the left and from the right.
We don't care what's actually happening exactly at that point x =1.
It's nice that it's a normal continuous line.
And that it happens to equal 2 exactly at that point.
But we don't care. We shouldn't care.
We shouldn't even look at that for the limit.
For the limit, strictly
all we should check is what y it's approaching from the left and from the right.
Seems weird in this case.. it's such a normal looking function.
But you could get one like this.
To test your understanding of the limit.
And since it's approaching 2 from the left and from the right
the limit is still 2.
OK. So sometimes the left side limit and right side limit are not the same.
Take a look at this graph. Looks kinda like a step function.
It jumps suddenly here.. from 3 to 4.
Say that you want to find the limit, as x approaches 2, of f(x)..
How do you do that?
It's the same idea.
You will have to check from both sides.
From the left side and the right side.
From here.. and from here..
in order to give an answer for that overall limit.
It's a really good chance for me to show you one-sided limits.
The left-sided limit and the right-sided limit.
If you see this notation
This means the limit as x approaches 2 from the left.. the minus sign means.
And the plus sign here means the limit as x approaches 2 from the right.
So we do have to go through those anyway to find the answer.
So I wrote them out here for you.
Let's find the limit as x approaches 2 from the left.
It's just like before, you wanna trace from the left toward 2.
Toward 2, but on the graph.
And as you do that, you look for what y-values it's hitting.
And since this is just a flat horizontal line..
everywhere along here it is 3. For the y.
So the limit from the left is 3.
And then from the right.. from the right side..
You approach from the right.
Approaching 2 from the right, but on the graph, on the function.
And if you do that, everywhere here it's 4 for the y-value.
So the limit, even if you get really close..
Looks like it's headed toward 4.
So if somebody asked you just for the left-sided limit
or just for the right-sided limit
You would be done. The left is 3. The right is 4.
But if someone's asking you for the overall one, you have to compare them.
And since they're not the same.. 3 is not equal to 4..
We can't give a number for the overall limit.
It does not exist.
So we could write "DNE" or does not exist.
So basically even though the overall limit did not exist
there were these left-sided and right-sided limits
that we could write values for.
OK. One last kind, I promise!
What if the limit is as x is going off to infinity or negative infinity?
This is another kind of strange blind spot case
because we can never actually see at infinity or negative infinity.
We can only approach it and see what's happening to the y-value.
So how would you find this? The limit, as x approaches infinity, of f(x).
If x needs to approach infinity
it needs to approach a very large positive number
to head in that direction.
So we want to go toward the right when we're tracing the graph.
The function.
So on your function, you want to trace toward the right..
off to the right..
and see what's happening to the y-value.
You can kind of tell that this function is leveling off
toward this asymptote that is at y = 0.
It's heading toward it. It will never reach it.
But it looks like it's getting very very close to 0
the farther we get toward infinity.
So the limit would be 0.
What about for the limit as x approaches negative infinity?
We can never reach it, but we can move in that direction
which is the left direction.. the very large negative direction..
on the function.
So as we trace in that direction
we want to pay attention to what's happening to the y-value.
It looks like it's reaching this -1 asymptote.
Getting closer and closer..
So the limit will be -1. That y-value.
So for limits at infinity
we can't actually reach those values: infinity and negative infinity
but we can see what's happening and give y-values for the limits.
So I hope that helped you get started with limits.

Trump Hits A New Low – 41% Say He's The WORST PRESIDENT EVER! - Duration: 3:50.
We all know that Donald Trump loves to look at his poll numbers.
He just doesn't like to get them right.
Earlier this week, Donald Trump tweeted out that he had a 52% approval rating which was
news to literally everybody on the planet because we know that no poll has ever showed
him at a 52% approval rating.
What he was actually looking at was his disapproval rating which was, at the time, at 52%.
It's actually gone up to 54% just in the last few days since then.
But his approval rating was actually around 42% I believe it was.
But you know what else is right around 42%, technically at 41%, the amount of people in
this country who say that Donald J. Trump is the worst president in the history of the
United States.
According to a new YouGov economist poll, 41% of respondents in this country when asked
the question who was the worse president in the US history, 41% said Donald Trump.
Now, before you get excited thinking Trump's going to go down as the worst president in
history, just remember that the same thing was said about George W. Bush when he was
in office.
And currently, the number of people who rank him as the worst is only 5%.
5%.
He's actually tied with Nixon at 5%.
Barack Obama, on the other hand, was at 28%.
28% of people in this country said Barack Obama was the worst president in the history
of the United States.
Now, that I do take you issue with.
I had a lot of problems with Barack Obama not being progressive enough while he was
in office, talking a big game on climate change, but also allowing fracking and drilling and
pipelines and all kinds of things to run rampant throughout this country.
But worst?
No.
By no stretch of the imagination was Barack Obama even anywhere near being the worst president
we've ever had.
So I'm assuming there was a lot of angry, bitter conservatives who watch Fox News all
day long, probably 28% of the people who took the poll, I'd imagine at this point.
But none the less, that 41% number for Donald Trump should scare him.
41%.
I mean we're approaching half the country actually thinks he is the worst president
in the history of the United States.
And I always go back to Bush with this, though, because I got to say I kind of feel like Bush
was worse.
When you look at what Donald Trump has actually done in terms of policy, how is it any different
than what happened in the Bush years?
I mean, yeah, Donald Trump is letting missiles fly and killing civilians overseas but nowhere
near as much as Bush did.
I mean, yeah, there's lying and there's corruption on a daily basis, but we had that back then
too.
So I don't understand why this revisionist history is taking place.
George W. Bush was awful.
Donald Trump is awful.
But for Bush to only pull in at 5%, that's what I think bothers me the most about this
poll.
He was God awful, and if he doesn't go down as the worst president in history, then obviously,
he'll be going down as the second worst president in history behind, of course, Donald Trump.
There is a very good competition between those two.
But I think at the end of the day, at least right now, Bush is going to go down as the
worst.
Trump will be the second worst.
But let's just see if he tweets out about this poll as much as he likes to tweet out
about all the other ones.

tops but peplum tops have to also fit
right... just like any other piece of
clothing, right?! So what are the things
that you want to look for with a peplum
top? The line here where it hits you
on your body. For some women the
empire is more flattering, make a
cover-up their tummy, of course you don't
want too many plates, because those
plates will accentuate the tummy. Also
you want to look for this nice cutout
shape here. Ideally I would have
gotten a scoop neck, they didn't have one
available so the work around
it is just to add a necklace and what's
gonna happen here is thats it's going to
create this nice V, otherwise a scoop
neck is so much more flattering,
because it brings light back into your
face, into the reflection and the last
thing you want to pay attention to what
the peplum top is of the length! You
don't want it to hit you at the widest
part of your body and I'm wearing this
peplum on purpose ,they have it at White
House Black Market but it's great for a
woman that's a little bit more taller
than me. I think it doesn't hit me right...
it hits me actually at the widest part
of my hips, so be careful for that. They
do have amazing peplum tops that are a
little bit shorter and that's probably
what you want to look for if you're
short waisted, however if you have a long
torso, long legs and if you're just more
tall, peplum tops are amazing. In fact
they are beautiful for every single body
type in shape and there you have it

My name is Michael Gibson.
I'm the extrusion engineer here at PacMoore.
I've been working here since November 2016.
I did have a rough patch back in April.
My father passed and when I walked in everybody knew there was something wrong with me and
I remember walking up to Adam and Scottie and they go, "Get out of here.
Why'd you even come in here?"
So the sense of family is definitely here and it was something that I don't know, I
don't want to speak for a lot of other companies but it's not something that I would expect
to have happen.
"Get out of here, don't worry about your time, don't worry about what's happening here.
Go take care of your family."
So it's really nice to have that feeling that these people have your back.
"Don't worry about it.
This will still be here tomorrow.
We'll take care of you."
The other thing is that I worked with a couple different companies where when you walk in
you're handed your employee handbook and they go through the values and you're like, "all
right cool, go toss that handbook out and you won't ever hear that again."
Well here all of our five…yeah, five core values are mentioned and talked about all
the time.
It's not something that is just handbook thrown away.
It's something that's preached here on a pretty regular basis.
So that's kind of rewarding in itself.
Integrity is a real big one.
Excellence is another really big one.
So I can't think of an exact example but I know just in the times that I've worked, everybody
makes mistakes but when there's a mistake made some people sometimes brush it under
the rug.
Well, part of integrity is saying, "hey, this is messed up and let's just see how we can
make it better and make it excellent."
So those two really jump out to me mainly and then the family part I already spoke about.

How To Do A Self Tape Audition - Part 4 - Duration: 3:04.

You made it.
Part four, how to do a self-tape audition.
Today, we are talking about
one of the most crucial elements, editing.
You need to be able to send
what you've just done onto casting.
And Marc is going to explain it to you.
- File size is crucial.
I've even read from certain casting directors
that they won't accept files that over the size recommended.
And the reasons could range from
that they don't want to take forever downloading them
because they might be viewing it on their smartphones
or a website that your audition videos are being hosted on
that may have certain restrictions.
So, let's take you through editing very quickly.
Now, the only cuts you'll be making is at the very beginning
or the end of your scene, if there's extra space.
Do not cut anywhere else in your audition.
Your scene should run from beginning to end
without any edits, just one take.
If a casting director asks for a title card,
it'll be a blank screen with your name
and any other information that's requested.
Read the directions carefully.
Once you have that, you can fade in
or fade out where your scene begins and ends.
Or, if you have multiple scenes, fade in between.
Now to your question, you're completely done editing,
you're ready to export your file to a certain size.
Now, every program is slightly different,
but for the most part, during this stage the program
you're using will have options on sizing at that point.
For further details regarding that,
do a quick video search of your program
and I'm certain you'll find tons of information.
And lastly, label the files exactly as requested.
And if there are no instructions, label the file,
your name, the role, and the project title.
