How To Get Rich Fast With Treasure Chest Farm (English Sub)😯 | Growtopia Indonesia - Duration: 13:53.

Hello guys

Welcome back with me, Aipan

In video "How to get rich with farmable"

In this video we will discuss about farmable which I farm myself

That is treasure chest

Why do I farm treasure chest?

I will answer it at the end of video

You can break treasure chest 10x hit using empty hand

and 8x hit using pickaxe

I bought treasure chest seed for 9/wl, or 200/23 wls

and 2.600 for 299 wls

and there are 2.600 treasure chest trees in this farm

Let's go harvest

We got 9.836 treasure chest and 167 seeds

Break time

Finished

Now let's go check gems and seeds that we get

56K gems and 2.925 seeds *typo*

Not bad 325 profit seeds

Anddddd let's go we collect gems

And now we're gonna spend gems to buy birth certificate

We're gonna sell the seeds for 9/wl

We can't sell in buychest because the world has royal lock, you can't chat

We will sell it in buychests, world has bulletin board

I forgot to tell you, treasure chest tree has 1 day 22 hours growtime

Or 46 hours

Yap, with capital 299 wls you can get 68 wls per 2 days

So you need to farm it 5x until you can get your own capital, and the rest is profit

Why do I choose treasure chest for my farmable?

Because treasure chest even though the capital is big, but its growtime is only 2 days, really short

But selling is not easy, need patience

And you can continue it to mass project, it is cow mass project

It is easy, just farm treasure chest and ice, and then buy brown block

Cow price 7-9/wl (block)

You can check in buycow

Yah.. maybe that's it, if you want to ask, you can ask in comment

Don't forget to leave a like and share ya guys

See you in next video!

A STRANGE way to eat a BIZARRE looking fish. Catch and EAT - Duration: 8:34.

Alright, everyone,

last week we caught a Mexican Hog Fish

and a Giant Hawk Fish,

and now we're bringing the fish back to our hotel

to cook up for a really nice meal.

I don't know about you guys,

but one of the best parts about fishing

is eating your fresh catch.

The way that we prepare this fish

is not your typical catch and cook.

Get ready to meet my big, crazy, chinese family.

[Erin] Is this our fish?

[Senko Dad] Yup.

[Brendon] So right now we're cutting out that

bone line we got from the ribs, right?

The stomach? [Senko Dad] Mhmm.

[Brendon] Ooh....

[Senko Dad] Not too many...

[Brendon] What are we making, Dad?

[Senko Dad] I don't know, um,

are we making ceviche or are we making sushi?

[Brendon] Or ramen.

Or ramen...

Comment below guys, what should we make?

Ceviche, sushi, or ramen?

With our fresh fish...

We've got a hogfish in here and a hawk fish in here.

... and we're here at our beautiful resort

in Cabo San Lucas

let me show you guys the view.

*Chh chh chh chh*

Tying up rigs right now for later...

and here's our view! Oh my goodness....

That's-that's what we're fishing, right there.

Where's my sister...?

[Yelling] Samantha!

Oh, there she is.

[Senko Mom] Hello, beautiful.

[Brendon] Wooow.

[Senko Dad] We don't have a lot of ramen...

[Erin laughing] this is the only thing we have...

[Erin] Yeah, we don't have too much,

we might need to be conservative with the ramen...

[Senko Dad] This is a typical one that we like.

[Erin] Wooow...

You look like a professional.

[Senko Dad] Ha! No, far from it.

[Erin] So how do you slice this? It looks like you're slicing it very thinly. [Brendon] Oooh....

[Brendon] Sashimi style.

[Senko Dad] With a Japanese Sashimi knife.

[Erin chuckling] [Brendon] Very sharp.

[Senko Dad] Very sharp, watch your finger.

[Brendon] Watch the peter, don't put the peter on the board...

[Erin] Brendon! [laughing]

[Senko Dad] Ooh...

[Senko Dad] This is my sushi rice.

[Erin] Mhmm...

[Senko Dad] You've got to stir it up...

mkay, so they steam it again.

[Erin] Fluff it up?

[Senko Dad] Yeah, so otherwise it get stick together...

[Senko Dad] So we've got one piece of fish in there, maybe two...

[Senko Dad] Dab of wasabi...

[Senko Dad] For the camera girl.

[Erin chucking]

[Brendon] Oooh!! Give me a bite, give me a bite. [Erin] Mmm...

[Erin] It's really good. [Brendon] Is there just rice in it?

[Erin] No, it has-- [Brendon] Mmm! Mmm!! There's fish in there!

[Erin] Whew! [Senko Dad] It doesn't taste fishy no more, right?

[Brendon] Mmm-mmm.

[Erin] Wasabi killed it--ohh!

Whoa!

[Erin] So much wasabi-- [Brendon] Open your mouth, open your mouth!

[Erin laughing] [Brendon] Does it help?

[Erin] Not at all, thank you, though, I appreciate---haha

[Senko Mom] Wow!

[Brendon burps loudly]

[Senko Mom] Woah! [Erin] Brendon!

[Brendon] I thought it was going to be a small burp.

[Senko Mom] Try one, it's so good.

[Auntie Kim] Let me wash my hands first...

[Senko Dad] Cooking ramen is very difficult, I tell ya...

[Senko Dad] The most difficult thing to do...

[Erin] Woah, that's a lot. [Senko Dad] No, Brendon.

[Senko Dad] You waste it! [Brendon] Let me do it!

[Senko Mom] Let him eat whatever he wants...

[Brendon] For myself.

[all talking indistinctly]

[Senko Dad speaking cantonese] Okay? That's it.

[Brendon] Okay, okay, that's it, I won't waste anymore.

[Senko Dad] Sam, I've got some jook for you on the other side.

[Brendon] Whoo!

[Erin] You didn't want any soy sauce?

[Brendon] Hot!!!

[Erin laughing] Brendon!

[Brendon] I put too much wasabi...

[Erin] Chow time?

[Brendon & Senko Dad] Chow time...

[Erin] Woow, it looks so nice...

[Brendon] Mmm, yum.

[Brendon] Oh my gosh, more sushi.

[Brendon] These two fishes gave their lives

to feed one, two three, four, five, six, seven.

My family of seven.

and we thank the fishes for giving their lives.

[Erin] .... Six. Six people here.

[Brendon] Okay, I meant six. [Erin] That's okay.

[Brendon] I usually got a C or...

yeah, usually got a C average in math...

[Erin] Okay, let's eat.

[Senko Mom] Okay... [Brendon making tazmanian devil sounds]

[Erin] What?

[Brendon] Mmm...

[Senko Dad] Very good?

[Brendon] Very good.

[Senko Dad] Very good.

[Brendon] Mmm...

[Brendon] The fish is so fresh.

Mmm...

[Senko Dad] The roasted seaweed's so good, right? [Brendon] Mhmm...

[Brendon] I really like the texture of this fish.

A nice, white meat

there's hardly any blood line in it

and the bloodline was cut out

[Erin] Your dad pulled out all the bones. [Brendon] Yeah.

[Erin] One at a time. [Senko Mom] He pulled out all the bones? [Erin] Mhmm.

[Brendon] Mmm...

[Senko Mom] Mmm. [Samantha] What kind of fish was it?

[Brendon] Hog fish.

[Brendon] Erin, you've gotta eat, let me--you want me to feed you one?

[Erin] Yeah. [Brendon] You want sushi?

[Erin] Yeah. [Senko Mom coughing & choking]

[Brendon] Wasabi? [Senko Mom] It's spicy!

[Erin] Thank you.

[Brendon] You guys want a bite?

Take a bite.

Not that much!

Okay, I'll dip it in wasabi for you, here.

[Brendon] So this one is a hawk fish,

this one is a hawk fish,

and this one's the hog fish.

[Senko Mom] What's the difference?

[Brendon] One of them is a little bit chewier

and a little bit saliter.

[Samantha] Which one?

[Brendon] Alright, guys.

We're going to go. [Erin] I'm hungry.

[Brendon] Thank you guys for watching,

I hope you enjoyed it

Avengers 4 FULL LEAKED PLOT REVEALED! Kang The Conqueror Is The Villain Not Thanos!! - Duration: 7:48.

you

Whats is good youtube Warstu here with a video on Avengers 4 so like always guys

there's always plot leaks major script details so gonna go over a reddit

potential leak theory I don't know what it is actually but it seems pretty cool

so we'll go over it is worth noting the redditor for channa user who uploaded it

was right about things from other movies and infinity war so some of it could

potentially be true it isn't my theory it's someone else's so I will link the

leak down below but it is very interesting so the first act it is said

that Avengers 4 starts off with ant-man trapped in the quantum realm where he

uses a time vortex to escape he travels to the vents before the first Iron Man

movie and finds Hank ping the to create a sling ring which is mystical object

which enables the wearer to open a dimensional gateway to another location

as seen in Doctor Strange and infinity walk well strange to use it to create a

portal between two points in time ie when he retrieved Tony Stark apparently

Scott Lang and ham ping sling ring is able to time-travel assumingly with the

power of the time vortex from the quantum realm so yeah I mean that's

pretty much reliable I mean it could happen I mean he is stuck in the time

vortex this is how most people oh sorry he's stuck in the quantum realm most

people suspecting him to use the time vortex because Janet said that that

don't get stuck in there and yet she's mentioned the time vortex so that could

happen so cut sequence I'm man and nebula as shown on Titan following the

vengeful infinity war where the pair then make their way to earth to read

team with the surviving Avengers Ant Man and then comes out the time vortex where

the Avengers tell him about the snap ant-man informs them about the sling

ring that they can time travel since Asgard is destroyed and phallus

wiped out the as guardians in infinity war Thor goes off to hell to build an

army of fallen Vikings with hella and interesting

Allison finds out about the sling ring that can time travel and sends his own

army which meet of Thor's army in battle the battle sees Thor and Captain America

getting killed all said to take place in the first hour now this is actually very

interesting let's continue with the store it said that

Thor dies in the first battle but Captain America dies while fighting

phallus after time traveling as Thanos also send his army after the Avengers in

the sling ring time travel portal dimension whoa oh no I don't believe it

most of this so the Iron Man in a bit yes I believe that Thor and Captain

America are killed potentially that could happen because obviously they can

go back and forth so no let's just forget this last part because that is a

bit weird so second act The Avengers decide to use the sling

ring to time travel back in time to collect the six Infinity stones and stop

fana since Captain America died they decided to time travel back in time to

recruit captain from the timeline of Captain America the First Avenger and

grab captain right after the Red Skull is transported by its hazarat it's

further revealed that Avengers 4 features the Marvel cosmic character at

least in the comics entity eternity who helps the Avengers by that Pym the

avengers run into eternity in the quantum realm the avengers time travel

to a previous MCU movie in order to get the Infinity stones the Avengers age of

Ultron right before Thor in the art world and gardens the galaxy Hawkeye

also travels to the events prior to the first Thor movie in order to get Odin

two Infinity Gauntlet okay there is rumors going around that this cosmic end

eternity is coming so that sounds true but Heller said it's a fake gauntlet now

I don't know it could be true I mean there's no proof it's a faint gauntlet I

mean there are rumors and theories going around Odin try to get all the Infinity

stones before anyone else so I do think that could be true so let's get on

regarding traveling back to the First Avenger movie as revealed by the set

photos the rumor has it that the Battle of New York gets even worse Doctor

Strange is said to escape the soul stone and use a sling ring to time-travel

Ballas learns about the Avengers going back in time attempting to retrieve

another Infinity Gauntlet and sends more of his minions and an army into a huge

battle the battle features Avengers from both past and present or future where

half of the Avengers from the past and half of the Avengers from the future die

it is said that Hulk eventually gets the Infinity Gauntlet with all the Infinity

stones but when you use it his arm explodes but later the Hulk or banner

gets a mechanical arm it is also speculated that banner and

Hulk merge for Avengers for becoming but they're so whole I mean parts this leak

does sound kind of true now this is where it gets a bit interesting

eventually Thanos sorry the post-credits scene for Avengers infinity war shown

Nick Fury Page and Captain Marvel the Avengers for rumor has it that she

doesn't do much until the last hour of the movie eventually fallacy is defeated

and said to die with you infinity goner and the Infinity stones destroyed

Avengers endgame okay fine about the Avengers 4 isn't done there Tony Stark

absorbs the power of the Infinity stones it's revealed that eternity is actually

the future version of Tony Stark but eternity has been manipulating the time

stream for his own selfish ends as eternity changes events in the past to

make most events have it shown that only Doctor Strange Hulk red skull and Fanus

are the people with free will in the future of Tony Stark become an eternity

after he ascended his mortal body the present Tony Stark is revealed to become

a conqueror and to rule over the universe as a god in the future that

people remember him as Kong the Conqueror before he took over very

interested the Avengers for ends with the remaining heroes happy the war is

over the Avengers for post-credit is also said to feature Ultron waking up

now this is a very interesting Lee concept it's very interesting there are

a lot of flaws with some parts of it to be honest but I don't know guys let me

know in a comment down below what do you think I will post it down below if you

want me to Kong the Conqueror come in that would be pretty interesting I don't

really think it's gonna be called a ten-game but you know the Russo brothers

do lie so like always guys please like subscribe and comment let me know what

you think about it there are some plot holes but I don't want to make this

video 25 minutes long it's already long enough so guys let me know everything

down below do you want Cognex the Conqueror to be the villain for

another movie I mean it's very interesting so guys I will catch you in

another video very soon gutshot so whilst editing I realized

that I missed the last three lines out of this whole dispossess Lee and yes I

realize I said Kong the Conqueror earlier it's Kang the Conqueror so

careful for my mistake so the last three lines read like this

this is a real the Eternity needed doctors trained to get rid of door mama

the final trying on what 20 minutes of the movie is spent taking out Kang

controlling everyone Doctor Strange then time travels right before Tony star

becomes Kang the Conqueror and kills him the Avengers will end with the remaining

heroes being happy and the war is over so guys it's pretty cool liek I mean I

honestly don't believe that much is true because as a post-credits scene is age

is Ultron waking up but anyways like I said before please like subscribe and

comment and I'll catch you in another video very soon catch ya later

Who won the KSI vs Logan Paul fight - Duration: 2:21.

hey hey you guys doing I just got done watching the Logan Paul vs ksi I fight

and I just kind of wanted to get my panel on you guys asked me what I

thought about it and if you were in the discord server you got to get the

play-by-play as I watched the fight it was very exciting now um this is what

I'm just gonna go ahead and talk about the Jake Paul and dead if I don't think

that anybody thought that dead G was gonna do as good as he did he did very

well he just didn't have the cardio he winded out early on Jake stayed very

consistent I don't I think Jake might have been a little bit surprised at the

heart that desi had overall would say did you did a good job I don't think

that he should go to be a professional boxer now the ksi Logan Paul fight I

think it was clear to anyone the control that empowering that Logan had in the

early rounds he weathered out as the rounds went on as ksi stayed pretty

consistent there is no doubt that Logan Paul looked good in form very well

practiced but I think that he had never experienced boxing before I think that

played a large part that the different physical activity of the of just lasting

that long with that sort of activity and I think that KS I had an advantage over

that had it when uh one more round I seen KS ah knocking out Logan Paul but

but now Logan's had that experience can you imagine now if Logan Paul would have

waited in the earlier rounds and then a loud ksi to wear down and then unleashed

that that hellish fury that he did in the beginning in those rounds where they

count I think that's what he's gonna do in the rematch now am i odd just

thrilled that it was a draw no but I honestly can't really drop it was only a

$10 pay-per-view I think was a good show it was pretty good I mean that's my

opinion on it but I'd like to hear from you guys

what you thought about it I'm gonna go get a burrito

How To Grow A Mango Trees From Seed - Days 18 - 35 - Duration: 8:25.

hey everyone it's Rob the backyard gardenerr and it's time for an update on my mango

trees that I'm growing from seed you'll recall in the last video just over two

weeks ago I had started a couple of new ones on August 7th as well as I had that

leading one that I started on July 21st at that time it was 17 days old on the

initial one and zero days old on the ones I just started I promised you I'd

give you an update in a couple of weeks and I'm here to do that today in today's

video I'm going to show you the two that are now I guess what is today the 25th

or 18 days old and now the one that's over a month old anyway let's go and

take a look at these mango trees grown from seed so here are the two that I

started on August 7th I wanted to give you a look at one with the greenhouse

and one without so you can see what I'm doing so once I noticed if you watched

my last video once the root got to about 2-3 inches long and on that front one it

was a little bit too long but I wanted to wait a little bit longer before I

planted it but on these ones once the root got 2 inches long I set it in some

soil pinch the soil around it and I put it in a greenhouse now I have in this

little mini greenhouse mainly because I don't want the seed to dry out and

because the roots not that long what will happen is that the soil gets too

dry then the seed will die and it won't really send out deeper roots so I have

it in this greenhouse method nothing has sprouted on top of it yet

but this is the seed that I thought wouldn't make it it doesn't look the

best even now it doesn't look the best but it is greening up maybe it'll make

it the other one I pulled the greenhouse off the top of it just because I wanted

to get you an idea of what it looks like and you can see in here and it's clearly

starting to sprout a little tiny mango tree so this one I buried sideways this

one I buried straight up and down I wanted to test two different methods I'm

gonna putting the greenhouse back on top of this until that sprout right there

gets to about two inches tall now I'll tell you I'm the one that I started on

July 21st I left the greenhouse bag on it

I'll be too long I was actually just pulling it up as it grew until it

outgrew the bag I thought that would be a good method but I'll tell you it's

struggled let me go and grab it over here and give you a good look at this

guy you can clearly see he's grown a ton but all the initial leaps the minute I

pulled the bag off started to crinkle and not look as good it's like it took a

while to adjust into the regular humidity of the surrounding air so I

immediately put the bag back on it and I chopped holes on the sides and on the

top to allow the 100% humidity to be more like 50% humidity that helped him a

lot and as his leaves acclimated to the less than 100 percent humidity

environment I then removed a bag altogether and it's been about a week

that he's been out of the bag and his new leaves look fantastic they look

fantastic but again the first couple he even lost some of the Smarties and you

can see the damage back there on that one from the acclimation process matter

of fact I'll show you that he really struggled acclimating from the high

humid conditions to the less than the high humid conditions but anyway that's

why I put the bag back on that's why I cut the holes so if I was doing it again

like I am I as soon as this plants sprout I'm gonna start cutting holes and

allowing this high human environment to be less humid so that the leaves don't

have a shock once the bag is removed when you think about it this guy turned

one month old just four days ago so he's about 35 days old right now and let me

see if I can get you some better close-ups I apologize for the lighting

I'm trying to be a little bit further away from my pool because it's so loud

I'm sure that the background noise is a little bit disturbing but this is the

best place to do it I don't want him to be in direct sunlight he's never seen

direct sunlight and if I put him out there or do it in that and that kind of

lighting I'm afraid that it'll burn the

leaves he's still pretty young he's been grown indoors right now but yeah look at

this guy he is probably ten inches tall and this seed I planted sideways just

like I did that one I just put the roots straight down put in soil all around the

root watered it slightly packed it down added more soil and kept on doing that

process until it filled the soil around the root once it did that they was

firmed up it was ready to rock and roll he's got several new leaves growing on

top and he looks in my opinion really really great

other than the hardening off process from the humid conditions to where he is

it now but I'm pretty happy with the progress this is going to be a short

video I just wanted to give you an idea where they're at not much update on

these guys we do have a sprout there so I'm optimistic that we're gonna get a

second one for sure want to see how this guy does one of the things I do want to

point out with the young mango trees is that I am keeping the soil

moist not soaked not saturated these little pots have

drainage holes and I am making sure that they constantly at least stay somewhat

moist now as they mature and the roots get even more established I probably

could lay off on the top part of the pot being water I'll start watering from the

bottom but for now every other day I'm putting in a little bit of water just to

keep it a constant flow as soon as the water flows out of the bottom and not

much does come out but as soon as it does come out I dump it and I let it sit

for a couple of days again that's what I've been doing at least on this guy

these guys alright once I initially planted them and had water and let it

all drain out the greenhouse is keeping it moist inside I have not added any

more water since I did this I also want to point out that they sprout it in four

to five days and then about another five days later the roots were big enough in

my opinion so these guys have been in these pots with the greenhouse method

for about ten days I didn't want to leave them in the bags too long for fear

of mold and no we use the inorganic material that

saran wrap but at the end of the day a closed environment completely closed

with no airflow is not always the best I also once a day

pull the bags off for about 5 minutes let it circulate some air around them

and then reclose the bag on top so I'm I am NOT just exclusively leaving the bags

on them I seem to have some success right now fingers crossed this one's

doing well like I said I'm pretty optimistic about this one now that we've

got a sprout coming up he did not have that when I planned him similar to this

it took about what is it about eight days till I finally saw something and

hasn't had much movement in the last two days but there is some movement now that

we've got you caught up two weeks from the last one I'm gonna give it two more

weeks again and then we'll get you another update at that time this guy

will be riding around 50 days old and this guy will be closer to a month and

we'll see how they're doing so there you have it everyone that's my mango trees

grown from seed update right around days I guess this would be days 18 to 35 I'll

keep giving you updates every couple of weeks for the initial part of the series

until we got established plants now one thing I do want to say is that whenever

you grow mango trees from seeds it's not uncommon for the young saplings to just

die I'm gonna do my best to keep these guys going there's been a lot of people

that have attempted to grow these that they've perished sometime around the one

month to three month mark so I'm gonna keep a close eye on them I'm gonna keep

them indoors out of direct sunlight use my grow room lights and hope that they

can get past this difficult stage anyway I think they're off to a great start

hopefully you feel the same hopefully you're enjoying the series and if you

are I'd appreciate a thumbs up and as always everyone happy gardening and

thanks for watching you

I do have problems,

especially with memory and things like that.

What I'm doing today, tomorrow will be a problem cos I can't really remember it all.

(BIRDSONG)

(PENSIVE MUSIC CONTINUES)

My life is day by day, really. (CHUCKLES)

I'm quite happy, in a way.

There is a sort of a future — for some of us; not for all of us.

It's just, in my case, I have vascular dementia, and, uh,

sort of, certain things are hard and everything, but, um,

I can still cope.

Yeah, I'm very independent,

probably pig-headed (LAUGHS) —

as they say. (LAUGHS)

But I do it my way. (CHUCKLES)

And it's worked.

We have porridge...

and...

and I like my home-made yoghurt.

I make it. (CHUCKLES)

It was very hard with Glenys gone.

I do everything myself,

and I have a very good neighbour that, when in doubt, I go hop down there.

Like, housework was a no-no for me. I'd never done it.

But I've got to do it now.

And I do read the paper.

But I...

I can't read... the whole paper.

But I can read the headlines,

um, because they stand out,

and the pictures, and I can make it...

sort of what I... want.

I can— I can read.

But when I've read a paragraph and get to the next one, I've forgotten what I'd read.

For a long time, he didn't know, you know, what was happening to him

and what that might mean for the future.

My mother, Glenys, she was diagnosed with cancer.

It was lung cancer,

so she had a period there where

a lot of the focus was obviously on her own health,

but she was also dealing with the thought of what happens to Dad after she's not around any more.

So... Um...

That was, I guess, in a way, the focus of a lot of,

perhaps, her final year.

They made the decision to sell the business. They moved up to Hamilton to be closer to myself

and my sister, Jen.

That was the point where the decision was made that

a retirement village was probably the best option for him.

She had a stroke the second... or third day.

(POIGNANT MUSIC)

So it sort of all happened fast. I ended up here, and...

that was that.

You gotta get on with life, I'm afraid, and that's— that's it.

You can't go backwards. You've gotta go forwards.

(TV PLAYS FAINTLY IN BACKGROUND)

Oh, these are some of the old photos.

Quite a big... big garden in Tokoroa.

We had...

a lifestyle block down there, and we had blueberries and...

and a retail outlet.

But (SIGHS) as things progressed,

it beat me!

I didn't know what it was.

I went to my doctors down there.

They said... Well, you sort of know them personally, in a little town.

They said, 'Nah, nothing wrong with you.' (CHUCKLES) 'You're OK.'

Uh, no tests were done.

And it got that bad in the shop,

well, I just stayed away from it because I couldn't sort of

face the people, because I kept forgetting everything —

forgetting their names, where they were.

And then I started to forget the guys — I had four mechanics there too —

and I got 'em mixed up all the time.

So we thought, 'Well,...

'we'll sell...

'and, uh, come to Hamilton.'

I went to the doctor that I'd— I'd never seen before.

He sort of picked it up very quickly, uh, lucky for me.

He'd spent a lot of time at the hospital,

in the dementia unit,

and he just...

Actually, all he did was just

got a pad of paper and just drew a house on it and said, 'Draw it.'

And everything was upside down, as far as I could see.

I couldn't follow it, even.

I— It just... It was all totally different.

And, uh, then he ran— ran me through what I know now is a general sort of a— a thing,

and, um, eh, I failed on everything.

(CHATTER, LAUGHTER)

Dad is 75 now. He's, um...

Yeah, he's getting on a bit, but he's still in pretty good nick.

My dad's of a generation where people were pretty self-sufficient.

He's, like, your sort of archetypal New Zealand man of his age,

where he had lots of jobs where he was sort of jack of all trades.

He could do anything, um, during my childhood.

He was always... either had a shovel in his hand or a hammer or something. He was building things.

He's very much a creator, and he continues that today. It's just he's got a few more...

things to deal with, with dementia in his life now.

I can still basically do what I was doing before;

it's just scaled down...

into, um, smaller areas, that's all.

I miss a bigger place and a bigger garden... and things...

and a bigger shed. (CHUCKLES)

And can I, please, have a potato? And a potato?

OK. Potato.

If you're talking to him, you wouldn't know he had dementia, a lot of the time,

until you were an awfully long way into the conversation, or he chose to tell you.

And he'll often do that with people, because there can be assumptions

that perhaps he's capable of doing things that he might not be so comfortable with. And at that point,

you know, he'll say, 'Hey, I've actually got dementia,' or, 'This is how my mind works.'

With Mum gone now,

there have been quite a few things where Dad has had to

essentially pick up things that she used to do for him.

It's been quite heartening to see that there's a lot of that stuff that he can do.

The worst thing you can do, I guess, with someone with dementia is try to take too much away from them.

It's very disempowering.

So we're always quite conscious that you can't treat someone like a child.

There are things that they need to have done for them

or perhaps explained in a matter of, 'Here's how the world is, and it's gonna happen like this,' but...

you don't want to remove those small things, those small, little pieces of independence from someone's life

before they're ready to give it up.

(MOTOR HUMS, RATTLES)

Just because he has this diagnosis, doesn't mean he's not Dad and he's sitting there gaga

and we have to do everything for him. I mean, we laugh and say he still has to earn his dinner.

Um, you know, so...

him coming out here

and picking up my kids from school,

mowing the lawns,

you know, going fishing, mucking around with the family,

he's still all a part of us.

He's a huge part of my life.

Huge.

Dad's just like the third child, but he's an adult, and he's granddad.

So, I mean, he comes away on holiday with us all the time.

We just don't go anywhere without saying, 'D'you wanna come?'

You know? And he just... He jumps at it. He's just part of our family.

Yeah, it's a bit tough, the old memory bit.

(PLUCKS NOTES SOFTLY)

I don't really recall a lot of yesterday, even.

It's...

But by the end of the day, it builds up,

and I sort of start remembering patches of it,

and then I can piece it, sort of, together.

It's all there, but it's just

getting it to come out.

But I'm lucky. I've still got my speech...

and not... not lose that bit.

(PLAYS GINGERLY)

It is very tiring for him.

We all know what it's like — a normal day can be tiring —

but when you're consistently on your toes,

trying to put plans in place so that you don't forget where you are,

you don't forget certain things, um, like,

'Have I eaten? Have I got the right clothes on today?

'What am I doing for the day? How am I getting there,'

and all those sorts of things, it's very draining for them.

I've gotta write everything down. I write everything on my calendar. Or the kids do.

And every one, I've got a...

a number for.

Pieces of paper stuck everywhere.

I have to.

I've gotta do all those things. (CHUCKLES SOFTLY)

You're angry with yourself. You get very short-tempered, (CHUCKLES)

cos everything you do

is very hard to do, and they're simple, basic things —

silly damn things like... washing the dishes,

putting them in the wrong places.

Different things like that.

Just everyday things.

You get 'em all mixed up.

You can't sort of work 'em out.

And cos while this is all going on,

that depression thing starts setting in.

(GENTLE GUITAR MUSIC)

I go to the gym every morning —

about an hour and a half every morning

since I've been here at Summerset, cos it's a smaller gym.

So,... I am sort of very strict in what I do. So I just multiply everything by two,

and then I go back, and I start again and do it again. So I just work on repetition of small things.

It puts me on a high.

About a half an hour... to an hour into my session,

something happens. I just...

I am fully motivated

and raring to go.

Keeping active has been a key part of — he likes to think, and we all agree with him —

keeping dementia at bay.

He's always been reasonably fit,

and when he doesn't go to the gym for a few days,

he can notice it in himself, and others can notice it as well —

his brain is just not ticking along in that same kind of rhythm that it is otherwise.

So getting the blood flowing. He likes that.

(MACHINERY RATTLES)

He's really quite incredible in how his mind works.

It's very practically focused, and he's... a natural engineer.

He can just make things work.

He can conjure up really, sometimes, the most incredible things

from bits of scrap that are lying around in his shed.

It's the sort of thing that's really kept his mind ticking, especially since his diagnosis.

I came up with this idea...

that every panel...

there's an an— animal.

Oh, and that's Mr and Mrs Noah.

And then you lift the top ones off,...

and you come out with the same thing. There's two of everything.

It's, firstly, a kid's puzzle.

Big frustration for me is getting it together, because I can't...

A lot of the time, I can't get it.

It gets very frustrating when you're physically able to do these things,

but there's something up there that just won't let you do it.

And, yet, you know what you're doing, but you can't...

separate the two, and they get a bit clogged up.

But, uh,...

that's, um,...

what we've got, so that's...

what we have to stick with.

It's a disadvantage, but it's not.

It's something I've got. I can mingle with people that would never know I had anything wrong with me.

And I can get away with it, providing I don't get into deep conversation, (CHUCKLES)

because then I get mixed up, because everything races in,

and you're thinking of a dozen things at once, and... then nothing comes out.

It's just all...

mucked up.

But I've got to admit, most times...

I leave this... (CHUCKLES)

for somebody else to put together, (CHUCKLES) but I did it, and I did it my way.

Dad does get sundowning.

So that's when you get towards the end of the day, and it's often to do with tiredness,

where his, uh, brain function just isn't what it was first thing in the morning when he gets up.

That was my first boat I made.

Cos all of these boats I made after I was diagnosed.

They're all motorised, all remote-controlled.

I can be doing something, and then it becomes a total... blank.

I'm still looking at it, but I'm not seeing it.

Then I know — put it down and buzz off somewhere. I go for a walk around the village or something,

and I come back and walk in the door, and I don't know, it just — bang. And it's so simple.

I just go back, and I do it.

My dad,...

before he had his diagnosis, he was very staunch.

A very quiet, private man.

Very insular.

Yeah, everything was all about the family — nothing really outside, per se.

So he wouldn't advertise that anything was wrong.

And I think when he got his diagnosis, it helped him to express more of what was happening,

because... he knew that there was something wrong, but he didn't know what it was.

And so he actually got quite vocal, which has really helped us understand a lot about

where he's coming from, what he thinks, what he feels, yeah, and just...

how he lives, really, in his mind.

WOMAN: With Neil, he has more what we call vascular dementia.

It's amazing how much good insight he has. If he feels more confused, he tells me,

so it makes a lot of difference, and it really helps to manage his condition.

Any problems, just... Yep.

And his family are quite on to it as well. So that's how unique Neil is, yeah.

See you next time. Thank you. OK.

There is different causes of dementia, one of which is Alzheimer's,

which is the most common cause of dementia. And another is vascular dementia,

which is caused by reduction or blockage in the blood flow to the brain.

There are other conditions that can cause dementia as well. Even thyroid problems or...

deficiencies in vitamins — that can also cause dementia.

(SOFT THUD) (MAN EXCLAIMS)

(SOFT THUD) (MEN EXCLAIM)

(DART THUDS) (BOTH LAUGH)

Again, moving the wall. It's rotating. (LAUGHS)

(DART THUDS) Oh jeez. (SPEAKS INDISTINCTLY)

(MEN LAUGH)

Nah! Nah. (LAUGHS)

I lost the plot. (LAUGHS) (LAUGHS)

(SOFT CHORAL MUSIC)

There's certain places I don't go. I hate going to the supermarket

because of... the aisles and, um, the people.

I do it, but...

I usually get a trolley or something to push.

Uh, that seems to... settle me down, you may say.

The aisles are like a tunnel.

You know how they say that you're falling into a hole — a big, white hole?

Well, that's what it appears to me.

If I have to — which, sometimes, I've done — I'll walk up against the wall and hang on to the wall,

because I'm gonna fall over. It's just... out there, and I'm falling into it.

I still have a lot of problems, even now.

Um, my sleep patterns are all to heck.

Um, I...

For years, I had a—

a problem...

with an image I ghost —

uh, hallucinate.

(LOW, UNEASY MUSIC)

A guy would be standing at the end of my bed —

no face, human form,

and always wore a tartan coat. (CHUCKLES SOFTLY) And I—

Man, I hated that guy.

And, many a night, I'd rip the bed to pieces, (CHUCKLES) moving away, and try and catch him.

I'd run into the wardrobe. I'd go up the passage. My wife would find me outside. I'd be, you know...

I'd never leave the section, for some reason. The gate seemed to stop me.

He's had these hallucinations for so long, going back for so many years.

And, of course, being so staunch back then, you know, he'd always hide it,

because, God, imagine if that got out that he was having those types of hallucinations.

They'd lock him up. You know, that's just his thoughts, the way he thinks. Um...

I suppose,...

now that he's so vocal

that he has this dementia,

this explains a lot for him.

And it's not that he's cuckoo. It's just his brain isn't working.

It's not firing on all cylinders some days. Other days, it'll fire on all of them.

But, yeah, those hallucinations did knock him for a long time. Long, long, long time.

It's a real, real problem — well, it was to me,

and I guess to a lot of people out there that would never admit it.

They would never say that it happened, because...

their partners, or whoever they're talking to, thinks that they're nuts.

Well, you're not mad. It does happen.

Why not tell people about it? Because...

all those ones that are putting up with it day after day,

um, need to be told,

and if they realise that it is happening, they could feel better — probably do.

But they're definitely not alone, and there's a lot of them.

(GENTLE GUITAR MUSIC)

Our classic old adage that we always laugh about is he had to get

(CHUCKLES) a dementia diagnosis to be able to do a lot of things he does now.

And he never did— Yeah, never did a lot of things.

(MUSIC CONTINUES)

I go gliding a lot.

Um, we do a bit of flying...

in a Cessna.

I love gliding.

It's, sort of, you're free of everything,

and you're floating.

That... airy feeling is very nice.

And when you corkscrew up in a thermal,

and it just keeps rising and rising, and your meters on the dashboard are whirling around.

Oh, it's a beautiful feeling. Well, it is for me, anyways. You feel real free up there.

But, uh, of course, I have a pilot. (LAUGHS) I don't do it on my own.

WOMAN: What we do with the sky, whenever you're doing the sky,

it's long, straight strokes with your paintbrush.

And when we join the next one, you see how it's straight, horizontal, but it's not blending in totally?

So what we do is, with our second brush,

we're just going to blend in those two colours over the top until they're blended.

Just because of some of the things that happen with dementia, a lot of the spatial awareness goes.

They may know where they want to put a line, but it might not go there. So it's just guiding them.

And so we do landscapes. We use all types of mediums —

from acrylics to pastels to beautiful pencil drawings they've done.

We do portraiture. We do still lifes and things like that.

When I first met Neil four years ago, he came to a talk I was giving on portraiture,

and he said he had lost the ability to draw curves,

so he could then only do straight lines with all his woodwork, and it was frustrating him,

and I said, 'I'm sure we can work on that,' and that was the first thing I worked on with him.

And you've seen his work. He can do curves and waves now,

which he didn't feel that he could at the time. So even that has opened up a lot of things for him.

Oh, I have some very good friends here. They sorta look after you, make sure everything's right.

Neighbour across the road is forever

talking and telling me what's happened and where he's going and everything.

I've got Jan, my other neighbour down here. Cooks me nice scones (CHUCKLES) and beautiful meals.

I'm very thankful for that.

We just got chatting, didn't we, really?

Yeah, we're really good friends. Yeah.

I understand how he is, what he's been going through. The gardens and things.

And we're both outdoor people and both decided,

'Well, we're not putting up with looking out at that mess, so we'll garden it.' So we did, didn't we?

Yeah. (CHUCKLES) And it sort of keeps growing. (CHUCKLES)

We have some great conversations, don't we?

Yeah. And it's good, because it keeps him focused.

Yeah. I don't mind talking about it. Yeah, it's good, because then he knows how to handle it.

(PEOPLE CHATTER)

We have a club. We call it the Bloke's Club.

And there's 10, 11 of us that go. And some nights there's dead silence and just a few jokes,

but on another night, somebody will start talking about one thing or another,

and then we get to (CLEARS THROAT) talking about it. Well, I'm quite free to talk about it.

It doesn't worry me one little bit. It worries a lot of them.

Do I have to do it? Yeah, you do, and you gotta get them in those holes.

MAN: How many do I have?

Yes!

(DISC CLATTERS) There you go. You got both of them.

He's very good at encouraging other people who have, perhaps, been diagnosed with dementia

that this isn't the point at which your life stops and you go and sit in a chair.

If you do that, chances are you won't get out of the chair. That's the start of the decline.

So he's always encouraging people to... not altering their entire life around that future.

It's OK. Keep doing the things you want to do, but realise that it's probably gonna be different.

But the longer you keep doing the things that you want to do, you remain active,

the better progression you're probably gonna have.

I don't think there is any other group of guys that is quite like this group of guys.

They all have a diagnosis of dementia. That's one of the things about— criteria of joining the club.

They come from different backgrounds. They have different trades.

It's a very, very interesting and eclectic group of guys, actually.

And one really, really important thing is that we work out with the guys what their hobbies,

what their interests are, what their job background is,

and we sort of work out the programme, work out our activities around that.

Just like those flat stones, eh?

And they sorta help and look out for each other. They'll put jackets on the back of each other,

and they will encourage each other if they're having a rough day.

I think a really, really big, important thing is social confidence —

confidence to get out and about and talk to other people. I think that's a real biggie.

(PENSIVE PIANO MUSIC)

You've got to accept the fact that you've got a problem. I've still got a problem,

but I can get through it all,

and I can do it.

I have problems sorting things out,

but, um,

I still live here on my own.

I've got no problem with that at all.

And I like it. Life's good. (CHUCKLES SOFTLY)

Jake Paul Challenges Chris Brown To A Boxing Match & Fans Say Yes - Daily News - Duration: 2:32.

Jake Paul wasted no time after his win against Deji in today's boxing match! - A reading from the letter of St. Paul to the Ephesians.

Brothers and sisters, be subordinate to one another

out of reverence for Christ.

Wives should be subordinate to their husbands

as to the Lord, for the husband is head of his wife,

just as Christ is head of the church,

he himself the savior of the body.

As the church is subordinate to Christ,

so wives should be subordinate

to their husbands in everything.

Husbands love your wives, even as Christ loved the church,

and handed himself over for her to sanctify her,

cleansing her by the bath of water with a word,

that he might present to himself

the church in splendor, without wrinkle or spot, or any such

thing, that she might be holy and without blemish.

So also husbands should love

their wives as their own bodies.

He who loves his wife loves himself,

for no one hates his own flesh,

but rather nourishes and cherishes it,

even as Christ does the church.

Because we are members of the body.

For this reason a man shall leave his father

and his mother and be joined to his wife,

and the two shall become one flesh.

This is a great mystery,

but I speak in reference to Christ and the church.

The word of the Lord.

- The Lord be with you

- [Congregation] And with your spirit.

- A reading from the holy gospel according to John

- [Congregation] Glory to the Lord.

- Many of Jesus' disciples who were listening

said "this saying is hard, who can accept it?"

Since Jesus knew that his disciples were murmuring

about this, he said to them, "does this shock you?

"What if you were to see the son of man ascending

"to where he was before?

"It is the spirit that gives live,

"while the flesh is of no avail.

"The words I have spoken to you are spirit and life,

but there are some of you who do not believe."

Jesus knew from the beginning the ones

who would not believe, and the one who would betray him,

and he said "For this reason I have told you

"that no one can come to me

"unless it is granted him by father."

As a result of this, many of his disciples

returned to their former way of live,

and no longer accompanied him.

Jesus then said to the twelve,

"Do you also want to leave?"

Simon Peter answered him, "Master, to whom shall we go?

"You have the words of eternal life.

"We have come to believe and are convinced

"that you are the holy one of God."

The gospel of the Lord.

- [Congregation] Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ.

- This saying is hard, who can accept it?

'Member, Jesus said last week that you must

eat my flesh and drink my blood,

and that didn't sit well for people at that time.

For you and I those words are beautiful,

because we know that in the Eucharist

we are eating the body of Christ and the blood of Christ,

that we are consuming the very life of Christ.

So for us that's good news.

But for those people who were the early followers of Jesus,

remember, they didn't have a catechism book with them.

They were, this was all new for them.

And the messiah wasn't who they were expecting.

It was somebody else.

And so it was hard for them to even accept

that Jesus was the son of man, the son of God.

Yet, there were some then who couldn't accept it.

And so they turned around

and went to their former way of life.

I think when we see the people who didn't accept Jesus

then we look at our situation and we see

what a great gift we have, because no one can come

to the son except through the father,

I mean through the father.

He said here that we have to,

"The words I spoke unto you are spirit and life,

"but there's those of you who don't believe."

But he has the words of eternal life.

And the gift of faith which was given to us in our baptism

allows us to come here and have even a more complete

experience of the Eucharist than the early disciples did.

They had to grow in understanding what this was all about.

We're given the benefit of two thousand years

of knowing Jesus and seeing him present

in the holy Eucharist, and recognizing

his presence in so many ways.

When we come to celebrate mass,

he is present in the ministry of the priest.

He is present in the word proclaimed,

he is present in the assembly gathered together,

and most substantially present in the holy Eucharist.

In all of those ways.

And we have come to know, and we have come to believe,

indeed, that he is the son of God.

So that great gift of faith,

let's never take that for granted.

And let's remember that the faith

that we have is God's gift.

We can't do anything to earn that.

But we can do something to nurture it.

And we nurture it by what we do here, coming to mass.

So even Peter, when Jesus said to all the 12 who were

with him, he said, you know as the other ones were leaving

he said "Do you wanna leave too?"

and Peter, who said "Master, to whom shall we go?

"you have the words of eternal life,

"and we have come to believe and are convinced

"that you are the holy one of God."

Now remember, this is Peter,

who even after saying this denies knowing Jesus.

So just because we have an encounter with Christ,

and even though we have two thousand years

of experience, and we know that Christ is really present,

body, blood, soul, and divinity of the Eucharist,

it doesn't mean that we're saved from everything.

Even Peter, the one who he called rock, even failed,

but he's still rock.

And so Jesus takes, you know it's like

the saying goes that Jesus does not call the qualified,

he qualifies the called.

And our life is always being qualified by God,

and our lives are always being nurtured by God,

so thank God for this great gift.

And God does not stop loving even when we fail

in our being good disciples.

He still loves us.

His love is forever, and the gift of the holy Eucharist

is his presence, his real presence

in the here and now, until the time of our death

or the time of the end of the world.

At which time, again, we won't need the Eucharist.

Because we will be with Jesus in heaven in eternity.

And that's our goal.

May we thank God for this gift,

that we continue to be nurtured in word and sacrament,

and nurture one another by the gift of our faith,

and how we let the love of God shine through us.

Together we profess our faith using the apostles' creed.

- [All Together] I believe in God,

the father almighty, creator of heaven and earth,

and in Jesus Christ, his only son our Lord,

who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,

born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate,

was crucified, died, and was buried.

He descended into hell.

On the third day he rose again from the dead.

He ascended into heaven, and is seated

at the right hand of God the father almighty.

He shall come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,

the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints,

and life everlasting, amen.

- "Master, to whom shall we go?

so that in all things we may please you.

Through Christ our Lord.

- [Congregation] Amen.

- The Lord be with you.

- [Congregation] And with your spirit.

- May our loving God bless you.

The father, and the son, and the Holy Spirit.

- [Congregation] Amen.

- Go in peace, glorifying the Lord by your life.

- [Congregation] Thanks be to god.
