Thank You Notes: Jeff Bezos' Divorce, Clam Chowder - Duration: 7:41.

-I was just running a bit behind.

I thought if you guys wouldn't mind, I'd just like

to write out my weekly thank-you notes right now.

Is that okay with you guys? [ Cheers and applause ]

Thank you.

James, can I get some thank-you- note-writing music, please?

[ Piano plays ]

-Wow.

-He's in a good mood. Geez.

[ Music stops ]

[ Piano plays ]

Thank you, HBO, for announcing

that the final season of "Game of Thrones"

will premiere on April 14th.

Winter is finally coming, just not until spring.

[ Cheers and applause ]

[ Piano plays ]

Thank you, low-battery alert in my fire alarm,

for letting me play a fun two-hour game

of "Where the Hell Is That Beep Coming From?"

It's in this area.

-You stand upstairs.

-Yeah.

[ Piano plays ]

Thank you, Netflix,

for announcing you'll be raising subscription prices.

I'd be mad, but at this point I couldn't even tell you

whose Netflix account I'm using.

[ Laughter and applause ]

-I don't know.

-Sucks to be them. -I don't know, man.

[ Piano plays ]

-Thank you, Jeff Bezos's divorce,

for magically turning the world's single rich--

Sorry. This is a good joke.

[ Light laughter ]

I just feel like I didn't want screw it up.

-You don't want to screw it up.

I'm glad you stopped it before you did.

-Well, I just feel like I'm having a thing

where, like, spit is going down the wrong tube.

-Wrong -- Wrong pipe?

-Well, I mean, I guess there's a breathing tube

and there's a food tube, right?

-No. Same tube, but, hey, whatever.

But what do I know? I'm just a doctor.

What?

-I went to see my doctor today.

-What'd he say? -Oh, this is not a bit.

[ Laughter ]

Told me I have --

I don't want you to play wacky music if I have --

Yeah, no, no, it's not -- But I did. I saw --

I have acid reflux. -Do you really?

-Yes, he told me I have acid reflux.

-So what do you have to do?

-I got to, like, take a pill or something like that.

-Did he have to --

Did he have to do a test while you were there?

-He said to me -- He goes, "Look, do you eat spicy food?"

I go, "Yes."

He goes, "Do you drink alcohol?"

I go, "Yes."

He goes, "Do you eat food sometimes

after you've eaten food, like, right before bed?"

I go, "Are you spying on me?"

[ Laughter ]

He goes, "Like, how much time is there between your last drink

and when you fall asleep when you're in bed?"

And I go, "Sometimes the drink's in my hand."

[ Laughter ]

-Did he act like that was a bad thing?

-I think that we're not gonna get along.

-Yeah, you don't think you're getting along with that doctor.

-I want a second opinion. Yeah.

-Yeah.

-Anyways, this is a good joke. -Okay.

[ Piano plays ]

-Thank you, Jeff Bezos's divorce,

for magically turning the world's single richest man

into the world's richest single man.

[ Laughter, cheers and applause ]

Thank you. That is funny.

-Wow.

Wordplay.

-It's a thinker. It's a thinker.

-Not a stinker. It's a thinker.

Was that about Jeff Bezos? -What's that?

-That's about the Amazon guy, the richest man in the world.

-Yeah, that's correct. He is the richest --

-Well, was.

-What?

Oh, because love?

-Yeah. -Love made him rich? Truly rich?

-No, I was thinking he would have half of his wealth.

[ Laughter ]

-Oh, I thought you were being romantic.

-No, not at all. -No, sorry.

-Being more like accounting.

-Yeah. [ Laughter ]

I thought you meant that the love of his wife

was what really made him rich.

-Yeah, well, it was but not on paper.

[ Laughter ]

[ Piano plays ]

-Thank you, mouthwash, for making my bed-- my --

[ Light laughter ]

This was not acid reflux. I just screwed up.

-Okay. [ Laughter ]

That's not the GERD. That's just you.

-Don't tell everyone I have GERD.

[ Laughter ]

Acid reflux is so much punk rock-sounding.

-Yeah. Acid reflux.

-Acid reflux. Yeah.

Yeah, be like, "Oh, hi, guys. I got GERD.

Am I allowed in?"

"Stay outside if you have GERD."

-Just wait till your mortgage -- -"Wipe the GERD off.

Wipe the GERD off. Come in when you're ready."

-I'm wearing my Birkenstocks. Can I come in?"

[ Piano plays ]

-Thank you, mouthwash, for making my bedroom routine

feel like a wine tasting at the world's worst vineyard.

[ Laughter and applause ]

I knew it wasn't that good. -Yeah.

-I'll save it. -Save it for later.

-Yeah. -Save it for the doctor.

[ Light laughter ] -I don't know.

You know what he said to me on the way out?

He goes, "I hope I never see you again."

[ Laughter ]

I think he meant, like --

-He doesn't want to see you. He wants you to get better.

He wants you to get better.

-But that's -- -But it's offensive-sounding.

-I mean, in the elevator, I was like, "Does he hope I die?"

-Yeah. [ Laughter ]

-I don't know him that well. -Yeah.

Now you got to go back just to prove yourself right.

-I'm gonna wait outside his apartment tonight

with a crowbar.

[ Coughs ]

-Oh, there it is again. Was that -- Wait.

Was that the acid reflux or just spittle?

[ Laughter ]

-That was acid reflux. -Wow.

-I've been doing that for like two months.

-Yeah, you've been coughing. I thought you just had a dry --

-No. I mean, I don't even smoke.

I mean, I heavily vape.

-You vape a lot.

I mean, you vape 24/7. -What's that?

-You said nothing was cooler than somebody vaping, right?

-I said, "Dude, can I borrow your laptop?

I got to charge my JUUL." [ Laughter ]

-I know. I was writing a bit for you, and you took my laptop,

charged your JUUL for like eight hours.

It's like, don't they give you a thing with it?

-I wish I could vape while I'm charging.

I wouldn't do anything else.

-You just vape 24 hours a day.

You make those vape animals. Big puffs of smoke.

-The doctor told me I should start vaping through my nose.

-Really?

-He said it almost acts like a humidifier.

-Wow.

[ Laughter ]

Get mentholated vape.

-You put two vapes up your nose.

-It's like going to a sauna. -It's like going to a sauna.

Yeah, steam room. Yeah.

He says it's great for you.

This is a really odd doctor I went to.

-Is he really a doctor?

-Well...

-First of all, where did you meet him?

Was it in -- -A dark alleyway.

-Okay, that's not good.

Not in an office. You met him in an alleyway at night.

-Yes. -And what did he --

What did you give him?

Payment, insurance card? What was it?

-Well, he wanted a stool sample.

He wanted a urine sample, and he wanted a blood sample.

-So what did you do?

-I gave him my underwear.

[ Laughter ]

[ Rim shot ]

[ Up-tempo music plays ]

[ Cheers and applause ]

-Wow. [ Cheers and applause ]

-Here we go.

[ Piano plays ]

-Thank you, clam chowder, for not going by your real name,

hot fish milk.

There you go, everybody. Those are my thank-you notes.

韓国優勝へ視界良好!サッカー2019AFCアジアカップ - Duration: 5:36.

Good visibility to win Korea! 2019 AFC Asian Cup (Translated by google.com)

South Korea who has broken through Group League C in the lead, fights the first game with Bahrain in the first round of the finals tournament.

Fortunately, Iran and Japan, which are regarded as winners, are on the other side of the tournament.

Qatar, which was doing great in the group stage, played against Iraq,

That winner will win the quarterfinals with South Korea.

The semi-finals will be either Australia, UAE or Uzbekistan who will be the winner.

Japan, who failed to fully demonstrate his strength in the group league, will compete against Saudi Arabia in the first game.

The other semi-final will be Iraq and Japan. It seems that this winner will fight Korea.

Fortunately, Korea has fewer moves and it is a blunder in the group stage.

The biggest obstacle to the way to the finals will be Qatar, the dark horse of the contest.

I won with Saudi Arabia and won three consecutive victories.

In the group league we have ten goals.

In addition it has not been a run down to this point.

South Korea will face Bahrain on the 22nd, and if you win, you will have a quarter-finals on the 25th, a semi-finals on the 29th,

And on February 1st we will fight the final.

Korean reaction

Two of the 10 goals in Qatar are from weak Lebanon and six from North Korea.

Even in the recent evaluation game, it is 1 wins, 1 division and 3 losses.

It is a strength that Iraq also can not win.

Why did Saudi lose?

Qatar can not be ignored if we see the current level.

I could only take one point in the Philippine war, but Qatar ignored?

Is there a possibility of a strong dropout?

In Japan this tournament is not so good.

Even if Iran falls out, I can really expect a victory this time.

It is not necessarily the case.

Like us, Japan also focuses on the victory and the team condition is rising little by little.

Let's definitely defeat Bahrain, Qatar and Australia in front of us.

Korea must win unconditionally.

This is the best opportunity to win this time.

Qatar is the strength to win against Switzerland and draw with Iceland.

The majority of the Qatari players are Africans.

A situation where they ridicule themselves that there is no Qatari in their country against the victory of the recent game.

You can not afford to worry about hitting any team.

I expect a good result just because it is the best combination.

Bahrain is not a problem.

Qatar, Iraq, neither of them can be reckoned with.

Especially in Middle East home games · · ·.

Do not play bed soccer in the Middle East.

I do not want to see such a dress and it seems to die.

Even if the opponent is weak it seems that we should not give up for the tournament held in the Middle East.

South Korea wins victory only when an accident happens.

Otherwise Iran or Japan will win first place.

You must always be careful in the Middle East.

Because I am a craftworker who sleeps lying down as long as I have a goal.

The idea of Japanese editors

There are many opponents who can win the Asian Cup group league ten times in the 10th round,

It will not be so if it comes to the finals tournament.

I can not imagine that football, as both Japan and South Korea are imagining, is made.

Korea was certainly a blunder but it can not be said that the defense is stable.

I can not quite say at the moment because I have not watched football in Qatar's current tournament yet,

If there is attack power Korea would be vigilant.

It is ridiculed as an African team in the comment, but it seems to be a mistake.

The current director is supposed to collect the athletes active from the age group by excluding naturalized athletes.

Korean defense is not as bad as usual.

But I think that it is not enough to say that you are adhering to being a partner.

With regard to the attack, Son Hun Ming entered the ball somewhat settled,

Still it is noticeable scenes that can not fit under the feet.

Korea was languishing to make the highest score record against Asian countries this time,

It is a result that does not have it at all. Well I ought to win.

There is a feeling that it gradually rises as a team state,

I will not lose to Bahrain.

I do not know what's there.

Korea can finish in the final unless you do not have such football as football in the group league.

Korean media express the way to the finals as a flower road, an easy way, but it is exactly right.

If there are drawbacks it would be about a place called UAE.

Otherwise it has to be destroyed.

Thank you for your viewing.

If you do not mind, please evaluate the movie.

Either good evaluation, bad evaluation, it does not matter.

If you do not mind registering to the channel would be greatly appreciated.

In search of snow - Sailing A B Sea (Ep.052) - Duration: 15:08.

Today's expedition even though it's a glorious sunny winter day here in Kaş

Turkey involves very warm wet weather gear and you even brought your wellies

didn't you? Yep. Right I've got my scarf and my gloves too and a beanie hat

because we're heading to high altitude where hopefully we're gonna encounter

some snow. Why not? Baz is gonna make a snow angel. Maybe.

Did you bring the map? I did. Do you know where we are? And where we're going?

Well we're in Kaş,I think it's something called like Gombe but I've got the map

and once I put the camera down I'll get it out.

It took us an hour and a half to

drive the 68 kilometers from Kaş to Gombe

Don't cross the road goats, otherwise you'll end up being the chicken and we all

know what happened when the chicken crossed the road.

He's got a gun. What the hell is he scared of? I don't know.

Porcupines!

I don't know, wolves?

The trees have changed since we've got higher

Wow, Wow. That's majestic isn't it?

Majestic, that is the word for this, yes

With these alpine trees, I don't know whether its dust from the roadworks, but they

seem to be a different shade of green

but not all of them are that shade, so I'm thinking it's the tree colour itself or the pine needles

It really looked odd. It was like an optical illusion but now we're getting closer

we can see it's a dam wall with a reservoir that's very empty and I guess

it's a great place to store water in a reservoir because once these mountains get

rid of their snow it melts it will be great. So it probably gets full in spring

If we can pull over and take a look we will

Yeah, its dry as a bone.

In summer all of those stick like trees would be all green and the place would probably

be really verdant. So if you come here Luke we'll take you to the snow!

We've just stopped at this petrol station to fill up with gas because

we're quite high and there's not very many stations around and I've just

looked in the rearview mirror and somehow the cat has got in the car - just

sitting on the back parcel bench! Come on cat you've got to go out now. The guy's

saying it's his cat. Come on. I know it's warm, go on.

Off you trot. Imagine if you hadn't seen that until halfway down the

mountain. Go on off you go you're gonna get hurt.

Isn't that the cutest thing?

We had a quick look around the

town of Gombe, but we were so eager to find the snow that we soon hopped in the

car and continued on our journey.

A mummy cow and a baby cow. Yeah, and she doesn't look like she's

gonna move anytime soon. She will. He's saying, come on mum, get off the road!

I'm gonna get run over! I'm too young to die!

We came on the road out of town and up over this hill and we were heading in

that general direction when all of a sudden it peeked out and started heading

back down into the valley. We got close, I don't know if you can see with this

camera but just up there it looks like a road between the two sets of mountains

and we want to try and aim for that road if we can, but we've taken the

opportunity here to stop for lunch because it's after 2 o'clock and this is a

beautiful place to stop for lunch with a great view surrounded by these beautiful

mountains. What's for lunch? Lunch is pastrame sandwhich. Oh lovely, pastrame.

It took us another one and a half hours to finally get to the snow line.

No it's too hard! Oh it's good exercise for this arm anyway. Oh well that's good.

It's not working!

Hang on, I tell you what it will be good for...

Snowballs! Ow!!

Bit disappointing first-ever snow angel and it didn't work!

I've got a

tip for you Baz. What's that? Don't eat yellow snow. Right. I'll watch out for that.

That's okay. Mmm

What flavour is it?

Icicle!

This is a man who hates the cold and has sworn he's never going to go back to the

UK because it's too cold there.

I've had enough now.

Yeah and we've got to get back to Kaş because

it's Friday today and that is market day and we need to get fresh fruit veggies

salad stuff and mushrooms cuz we eat a lot of those.

And support the locals. Yeah.

Right, I'm gonna walk slowly and carefully now. Cool

Oop! I'm going to stop recording because

this could end in disaster

Alright somebody may be playing a prank and we might be mistaken but that there

looks like a bear footprint. Now if that is that's a bloody big bear. I don't know

if they have bears in Turkey ...maybe it's a Yeti. It could be a Yeti yeah that sounds even more

exciting but yeah that's that's a big big big footprint yeah see there's one

here too in that oval shape at the back

Well looks like we'll have to do some research where we get back to the boat

to find out if they have bears in Turkey and if so what kind of bear, is it a big

friendly bear, or an nasty snarly bear.

I'm getting back in the car it's freezing. And safe from bears

Today is Sunday and it's a beautiful winter's day here in Kaş Harbour in Turkey and the

front end of A B Sea has been needing some attention for quite some time

so I've chosen today because it's nice and still to be able to crack on with a

couple of jobs here. The first job we want to do is to clean up the forward

area where the anchor is. It got a bit dirty when we were servicing the

furling mechanism the other thing I want to do is to detach the anchor from the

chain, drop all of the chain overboard and then bring it back up over the bow

roller so it's actually straight because it got very very twisted when we were at

anchor in the bay right next to Kaş marina, that was when A B Sea was doing

pirouettes for a whole day and half a night, so I'll get the tools together and

we'll get on with it. Now for detaching the anchor from the chain and dropping

the chain overboard I will need to use my number 5 allen key, it has got Loctite

on it so I'm also bringing along my trusty rubber mallet to give it a good

belt; we will be using this... no it's not what you think it is it's something else

I'm also going to be using the spare halyard

and I will be reusing the Loctite once I put it all back together again, so let's

go forward.

One of the first things I want to do is get the spare halyard

around the anchor rollbar and then of course I'm going to secure the anchor

probably from here or maybe from that hole up at the front, let it out a bit

and that means I can get the anchor raised up a bit and out of the way from

the bow roller so that I can just have this chain running freely backwards or

forwards over the bow roller to straighten it all out. That's the plan

we'll see how we go, hey?

Well that liquid lock is really good stuff it does exactly what it says on

the label so now we've got the anchor separated from the chain the trick now

is going to be to get the anchor up and out of the way so I can let the chain

run freely over the bar roller hmmm this could be interesting. Okay well

that was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be. Basically I've got all

the weight of the anchor on the spare halyard and that's through a jammer in

the cockpit and I've got the other end of the anchor shaft attached to the

forward cleat so now all I got to do is get the swivel and the chain over the

bow roller let it all out and bring it back in in a straight line. I've just

looked over the front of the bow roller and the pointy end of the anchor is ever

so slightly in the way for bringing the chain back up so what I'm going to do is

I'm just going to tie a little bit of a line around the shaft of the anchor and

attach it to the forward stay.

It's also interesting what you find when you're

looking closely at your anchor chain. We've got about halfway through the 50

metres and there's a load of I'm gonna guess it's some sort of a fishing line

wrapped around it so I'm gonna cut that free. Okay so that's all the chain out

it's sitting on the bottom it's quite clear water I don't know if this camera

will pick it up but we'll have a look and now all we got to do is bring the

chain back up and just watch to make sure it comes up straight and not twisted

Of course one of the things we do have to do is flake our chain into the locker

otherwise it piles up into a big mountain and jams up the gipsy.

So I'm just

going to ask the opinion of you guys and girls leave a comment down below should

I put these six or seven links of chain on to the end of the swivel in between the

swivel and the shaft of the anchor or should I just leave it as it is? Well I've

probably open the can of worms there but we'll see what happens

Okay so that's the anchor chain straightened out and I wanted to get

that job done because we've had a couple of times where the the chain has

actually jumped off the gipsy actually going down and coming back up so it

definitely needed doing and I'm really happy I've done that. The cleaning it's

gonna have to wait until another day or later because one of our neighbours has

just called around and said hey fancy a beer? You imagine how much arm

twisting that took for me to say yes so I'm going for a beer after I tidy everything up.

Chelsea transfers: Andy Cole says deal is 'no brainer' as new Gonzalo Higuain claim made - Duration: 2:29.

But now Higuain is closing in on a move to Chelsea and Cole, the third highest scorer in Premier League history, thinks he will be a perfect fit in England

Chelsea will take over Higuain's £170,000-a-week wages, after Chelsea and Juventus agreed terms on the deal on Wednesday night in Jeddah, where Juve beat AC Milan 1-0 in the Italian Supercoppa final

Higuain had been on loan at Milan from Juventus but the switch had gone sour. Cole told The Debate: "Is Higuain to Chelsea a good deal? No brainer

No brainer, for me. "If you look at this career, the goals he's got in Italy, Spain, no brainer

"But we're sitting here saying Chelsea have had huge centre forwards that have struggled over the years but I think he'll be ok

"His attributes are that he scores goals, especially where he's played at, playing at Real Madrid, he was the main centre forward and got loads of goals there

"He's got good movement, I like his movement. He works very, very hard for a centre forward which is a big plus as well

"When he gets those chances, he puts them in the back of the net. "He struggled a little bit at Milan for whatever reason this season

I'm not sure if his heart was really in it. "I think he was a little bit disappointed with the way he got treated by Juventus, to have to go on loan there

"I really do believe, playing under Sarri there, I think he will be good for them

" Higuain's arrival will pave the way for Spain striker Alvaro Morata to leave for Atletico Madrid today in a deal worth £28million

Man Utd shock as pundit suggests Sir Alex Ferguson may be PICKING TEAM for Solskjaer - Duration: 2:52.

Caretaker-boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has spoken warmly of the man he affectionately calls 'gaffer' ever since he got the Manchester United job

Fergie has been to the training ground twice since Solskjaer's appointment and the two have held regular talks

Expert Ian McGarry thinks Solskjaer should steer clear of speaking openly about Ferguson because the club's owners, the Glazers, don't want him to have a big influence

And he's even mooted the possibility that Ferguson could now be having an influence on team selection

"If they see Solskjaer as a kind of Fergie buddy, and Ferguson having influence on training, he's been to the training ground twice since Solskjaer has been in charge

" McGarry told the Transfer Window podcast. "Solskjaer's openly admitted that he speaks to Ferguson regularly with regards to everything concerning the football club

"You have to at least surmise that when it comes to team selection that Fergie may well be having a little influence there

"You have to think that that's one of the key, if not the key, decision made in the week of a football manager - the team that he puts out and the tactics he plays

"Now it's working, that's the first thing. But if it's working because Fergie's helping him, the Glazers are going to look at that as an Achilles heel in Solskjaer

" Solskjaer took over as United's interim boss until the end of the season after the club sacked Jose Mourinho last month

He has repeatedly spoke in press conferences about Ferguson, who has been an ever-present in the stands at games

And, in his first full interview after replacing Mourinho, Solskjaer was raving about his ex-boss

He said: "It's about managing players, staff and it's about getting the best out of everyone

"The boss will always be the best at that. I get my managerial style from him. He's been the biggest influence, but then again we're different

I'm a different personality. "I like to speak to people, I like to engage with people

I want to see people express themselves. That makes me happy."

Comment configuré la Suunto Ambit? / Mon guide complet - Duration: 27:53.

Today, we will see in depth how works the Suunto Ambit.

Hello, I'm Pascal, and welcome to this 14th training capsule, to help you on your next trip.

Today I come back with a complete training capsule on my favorite watch, the Suunto Ambit,

because after presenting it in the first capsule, I had some

requests concerning some of its functions.

On the previous capsule I was selling especially what the watch could do,

but today we will see in depth how to operated it.

Just before, if you still hesitate between a Ambit and a Spartan, I always have the impression

that Ambit has absolutely nothing to envy to the new watch.

I still see a lot of comments from people who have been using Suunto for a long time

who are disappointed with the new model.

I personally tried it in a sport shop and I was not really impressed.

It was lighter that make seemed a lot less robust.

But maybe it's just an impression.

On the other hand, Ambit is a very reliable, trusty and resistant to EVERYTHING.

Today, I'm doing the demo with an Ambit 3 peak.

This is the biggest model of Ambit currently, some options might not be

available on older models or more affordable ones.

Basically, we have a simple watch that tells us the date, the time, and the day of the week that we are.

The screen is usually divided into three.

The top and middle indicates a fixed information, while the lower one can be swapped

from one option to another using the view button.

We can see the seconds, the secondary time, to know the time at home when traveling.

This arrow is a follow-up of the atmospheric pressure.

Each band represents three hours.

If the arrow is straight, like now, the pressure is stable, if it rises, the pressure rises.

But what is that for?

Generally, atmospheric pressure drop before a storm.

So if you see an arrow pointing down, this may not be the best time

to go out to do an outdoor activity.

Let's continue, the next option let us see the battery percentage,

a pedometer, then we go back to the days of the week.

We can also hold this button to invert the colors of the screen.

If you prefer to have a black background, and a white writing ...

Or gray.

The light / lock button as its name suggests, the backlight

with a single press, and the lock of buttons when held.

That way we can not mess things up if we touch a button.

I never use it personally.

The '' Next '' button is used to change pages.

Here we can see at the top the current altitude, while the chart below let us

see our move of the last 12 hours.

The last 12 hours, I was at home, that's why it did not really move.

Below, the hour at which the sun will set tonight, and will rise tomorrow morning, alternately.

If you continue to scroll with the button view, we can see the atmospheric pressure

in hectopascal, the barometer is just at the back of the watch here.

Then we find the current time, the temperature, which is usually

higher than the actual temperature because it is warmed by our body heat,

then we go back to sunset and sunrise.

On the next page, it's a compass.

We can see here to the degree in which orientation we look at.

This is the line at the top of the watch that designate the degree we points.

The black arrow indicates the North.

But as we do not always want to go to North, you can press the backlap button

to display a second arrow that will point a a target.

The watch indicates Magnetic North, as any compass.

However, as this watch is very special, it can be calibrated by holding the view button.

Down to declination, we can indicate the current declination of where we are.

But how do you know that?

http://www.magnetic-declination.com/

By going on that site, you will be instantly geolocated.

And here is the declination in my city.

We can leave this menu by pressing several times on back.

On the next page, there is a stopwatch.

Just press the 'start' button to start counting

You can also press the '' lap '' button to count lap.

So the first line counts the laps, the second the time elapsed since the beginning

of activity and the last one is the elapsed time since the beginning of this lap.

At the end we press stop and we can do a follow-up of all the laps by pressing '' lap ''.

To reset it to 0, it is only hold '' start stop ''.

On the next page, we find the opposite stopwatch, a countdown.

With a simple tap on view, you can adjust the time from 99 hours and 59 minutes to one minute.

The last page is the activity log.

The watch shows in the bottom how it juge us today, as well as the number

of calories burned since the beginning of the day.

You're really beautiful today, your smile is much brighter since you burned this 830 Calorie.

- Thank you Suunto!

No, it will not tell you if it finds you well dress or if you smell good, I mean

that she will judge you on your physical activities.

You can change the graph with the view button.

Here we can see the number of average calories burned daily, for the last seven days.

The recovery time is the number of hours that the watch judges that we needs to

recover from last activities.

According to Suunto, the longest hours that we can move on to recover from a

activity is 120h, wich is five days.

Well we have see all of the basics of the watch.

Now let's look at the configuration and calibration of the watch.

We talked earlier about altitude, as on this graph.

The watch estimates the altitude from the atmospheric pressure.

As it decreases while climbing, the watch is able to display in real time the altitude

thanks to the barometer at the back of the watch.

However, as the atmospheric pressure varies from day to day, you have to know that

the result can be falsified if it is not not regularly calibrated.

To do so, simply go to the options of the watch by holding the button '' next ''.

We navigate in this menu using the buttons up and down, and we select with next,

and come back to the previous page using the back button.

So we go to alti-baro, and go down to reference.

The watch can adjust automatically thanks to this option by relying on the satellite,

but you must be outside to do it.

Personally, I recommend to calibrate first the barometer.

To know the pressure of your location, simply type atmospheric pressure and

the name of your city on google.

You should find the info quickly enough.

I calibrate the barometer once a year.

Finally you must calibrate the altimeter.

For that I use whatismyelevation.com

Input your zip code ... And there you are.

Now memorize the displayed number, and do the calibration at home, once a month.

If we go back of two pages, in the alti-baro menu, we can activate the '' storm-alarm '' option,

or storm alert.

I was saying earlier that a drastic atmospheric pressure drop was a sign of an incoming storm ...

Well the watch will warn you with an audible signal if the pressure drops

of at least 4 hectopascal in a period three hours.

I tested it several times, it never fails to warn a rain, but it also makes false alarms, especially in winter.

It's an interesting option, but it might be really unpleasant at night.

There should be an option to disable the function in a time slot.

I just made the request to the Suunto team, only time will tell us what they will do with it.

Let's move on to serious things now.

When you buy such a watch, it's to do sports activities.

Now let's see how to configure them.

It can be done from the smartphone app, or from the web page on a computer.

Today I'll show it to you from of the web page because in my opinion it is

much better developed than the application for phone.

You have to go to the movescount.com web page.

If you are not already a member, become it, it's free and ...

Not optional.

On this page we can see from day to day my activity and yes ...

I can not hide anything, it happens to me me too to be sedentary ...

Especially after my big travels.

A little further down we can see it as a list.

By clicking on an activity, you can see a lot of information.

The distance traveled, the average speed and maximum.

The number of meters climbed and descended.

Time spent ascending, descending and on the flat, the highest point as the

lowest, the average temperature, the coldest and the hottest.

The map with the GPS plot can be displayed in plan or satellite mode.

We also changed maps if we prefer Mapbox rather than Google map.

I like to watch the heatmap to see the most popular places.

It's a kind of compilation of all Suunto product owners.

Below we find the same information in graph form.

For example, we can compare the altitude with the temperature, while seeing the point move on the map.

When I travel, I do not use the heart belt.

If we take another activity, it can be more interesting to compare speed with

the heart rate or even the number of breaths per minute.

But I got lost, we wanted to see how to configure it.

So for that, we have to go to our profile picture and click on watches.

In my case I have two watches so I am request to select which one I want to configure.

My settings will only be changed for the one I select.

So here they are, the famous activity configurations.

We can create as much configuration as we want, but only 10 can be

recorded in the watch at a time.

So if for example I want to go kayaking, I should sacrifice another activity,

like alpine skiing.

Here.

To create a new activity, I click on create a new sport mode, I give a name

to activity, and I select the type activity that it is.

The type of activity is basically to display the logo as we moves through the calendar.

We can then be easy to have a good idea of what I did day by day without clicking on an activity.

So, let's recreate together my activity to ride a bike.

The 8 watches we see here mean that you can have 8 pages of information in an activity.

And as you can see, the screen is divided into three parts.

Everything works the same way, as when we were navigating in the watch earlier.

Pages are what you see when you press on the next button.

And the lowest option can be swapped with the view button.

So the first page is not exactly as I want it.

By default it displays the distance traveled, speed and stopwatch.

I want to change the distance for the time of day.

Oh yes, never forget to put this option, otherwise, you risk to find yourself in a

rather embarrassing situation like that happened to me several times at the beginning.

-What time is it?

-Eh ... it's ...

Well ...

-Wait a bit...

-Well, can your super watch give the time of day?

Haha !!!

Wait a minute for sure I have it ...

YOUR SUPER WATCH DOES NOT EVEN HAVE THE TIME OF THE DAY !! ???

Pouhahahaha !!!!

-Well ... ok ...

No, the watch does not give the time if you do not put this option in the activity.

So, put it.

I click on the distance, and we can see all options available.

We will come back on this.

For now, the time is under time, then daytime.

We see that it has been changed.

For the bottom option, I want more informations.

We can put up to 5.

First of all I do not want the timer, I want the current altitude, then my pace,

to count my pedal strokes with a small device sold separately.

I leave you a link in the description to a device a bit like the one I bought.

Mine is discontinued.

This option is ideal to stay focused to our way of pedaling.

The important thing about cycling is not to keep the same speed, but rather the same pace.

Then I want to know the distance I traveled and my average speed.

Finally, I use an application.

Applications are developed by Suunto and the community.

I use the Sunrise / Sunset.

It tells me how much time I have left to the next event.

For example, an afternoon, it tells me I have 4h and 26 minutes left before

the sun reach the horizon, from my geographical position.

As soon as the sun has crossed the horizon, I will have as an indication the remaining time

before it rise again.

If you do not see sunrise / sunset, clicks on more apps and search it right here.

There is something for every taste.

As for example this one, which counts the number of beers that you can drink at the

end of activity to recover burned calories.

Click on Save App to add it to your applications.

Phillipe asked me the following question:

Hello.

I enjoyed this video.

Could you explain to me how to set up the watch about the calculation it does

automatically on the average speed to to maintain in relation to the sunset?

You say that in Japan you knew you had to to drive at 12km / h and that it was the watch that was calculating.

Thank you for your advice.

On this page we have all the information to do the calculation.

So, let's say I'm getting on my bike this morning.

I know because I checked on the map before leaving I have to travel 120km to wait for my goal.

And the watch tells me that the sun is setting in exactly 10h.

Dividing the number of hours remaining before the sunset by the number of km that

I have to go through, I know I have to do at least 12km per hour.

So when my average speed is 15km / h, I know that I can stop and rest.

I'll go back to the road before it says 12km / h or less.

Now, let's do another page.

On this I want information about my heart.

First, the average of my heartbeats since the beginning of the activity.

In big in the center, my heartbeats in real time.

Then for the lower part I add, the peak training effect, which is a scale

from 0 to 5 how about how much intense the activity is for you.

In short, the closer you are to 0, the lazier you are, and the closer you get to the 5, the more you push yourself to maximum.

I also want to see the calories burned, the temperature, the stopwatch and finally,

the hill grade live application.

This one allows you to see in real time the inclination of the hill your are in.

On the next page, I just want some information in relation to the elevation.

So first I want to know how many meters I climbed,

then the current altitude and then how much meters I went down.

The next page is a bit special.

By clicking on the sides arrows, we can change the settings of the page.

For example, I can display a graph of the last hour, and then select what to indicate.

Like the percentage of oxygen, the atmospheric pressure, heartbeat,

or as in my case, altitude.

Finally on the last page, I add information that I will not necessarily

look at, but I want it to be monitored to have them on the activity

graph at the end of the day.

What I mean is that if there is something you do not add, for example

temperature, you will never go see what temperature it was at a

precise location on the map.

So I add my oxygen level application.

This one, as it is an application, I have to check the box so it can log in the watch.

I also add the storm alert to have a audible warning if a storm is coming.

Below, we fall into other types of options.

Recording interval.

That is, how often does the watch check each data.

Unless doing an activity of more than one day without any way to recharge the watch,

I always take a second.

Because if you reduce the frequency, the graphics are less accurate, but the battery lasts longer.

Then we find the accuracy of the GPS.

For activities where I move quickly like cycling, running, downhill skiing, or

activities in the forest where satellite reception isn't very good, I recommend '' Best ''.

For a slower activity such as walk, '' good '' does the job.

In '' OK '' mode, the watch will only record a satellite point every minutes.

So many data will be very inaccurate.

But the battery will last around 200h.

Finally, we can choose in addition to GPS, which tool the watch should look for.

For example the heart rate sensor, a pedometer, the bike POD, which is the tool I referred

earlier that counts the pace and the power POD calculates a load of stuff, I never tried it.

For example, in advanced settings, we have an option to activate a sound

signal that will sound every time your heart beat falls under, or above, a fixed goal.

Ideal to remember that we are too lazy or you work too hard.

Autopause puts as it name says, the activity in pause when we stop, I never use it.

For the rest I never touched it.

At the end, all you have to do is click on save.

I'll let you configure you other sport mode.

Because in the end, you probably do not want not see the same options as me.

That's why the watch is customizable.

Once you have them all configured, you can also create multisport modes.

Like for example a triathlon mode.

I select all the sports I want, in the order I'm going to do them.

So swimming, cycling and running.

The activity will start with swimming, and holding the back lap button, the watch

will move on to the next activity, until the last one.

Let's continue to the following options, yes There are still lots.

Navigation.

It's an option I use every time I visit a big city, or go to a mountain.

The watch can record a total of 250 points.

We press the little more, we select the type of point that it is to better find it thanks to the icons, then we point it on the map.

Say I'm going Mount Sutton and want to get an idea all the way up where the summit is.

I can type his name in the search bar to find it quickly.

Then click very precisely on the summit.

After you name the point, you can save it.

Do not forget to activate it in the watch before you leave.

The road is an option I have never really used, but I'm learning a bunch

of stuff myself doing this capsule.

The option has changed tremendously and it's really well developed now.

Before, it was only possible to drop points by clicking on the map but now

it's able to create routes between two points on the map, prioritizing

cycling routes, walking or for cars.

We can easily create a cycling itinerary between two cities, or in a mountain

if the trail exists on the map.

The line will appear on the watch by report at our current position represented by an arrow.

Some are even already created by the community on the map and can be sorted by type of activity.

For example, by choosing mountaineering, and activating only the '' Roads '', I can

very easily find trails around my home.

Let's go for a ride in the adirondack.

Sliding my mouse on the point, a glimpse path is displayed in blue.

If I select this one, I can add the path already created by Surgite1971 to the watch of my choice.

I have just realized that we can display all our own movements on

the map for an overview of places that we visited.

Wow!

It's really great!

But OK!

I let you discover it for yourself, because we go back to this famous configuration page.

General settings.

This is where you can choose the language of the watch.

Personally, for all that is electronic, I prefer english.

I have never tried Suunto in French, maybe it is very well done but

I see too often poorly translated stuff in French,

so I always use english by default.

The GPS Time Keeping, I've always kept it on, but I've never seen it working by changing the time zone.

Here is the geolocation format.

WGS84 for World Geodetic System 1984.

This is actually the most common format that we find everywhere.

For example when we point a place on google map, longitude and latitude is

expressed in this same format.

Latitude 0 is the equator, while the longitude 0 is on the first meridian.

The same meridian we use for universal universal time clock.

So much so that it almost passes on Big Ben.

The map is then divided into 360 lines of longitude and 181 lines of latitude.

In this format, each square is divided in degree, to obtain a very precise location.

The other methods use minutes and seconds.

In minute each square is divided into 60, and each of the minutes is also divided into 60, for the seconds.

Some countries also use their own grid, and if you are military, you

probably use MGRS, for Military Grid Reference System.

Anyway, we continue with the watch.

The orientation, when selecting heding up, the map is oriented in the direction that you go.

So if we walk to the east, the east will be at the top of the watch.

With North up, you have to follow the direction of the arrow to know in which direction you go.

Personally, I much prefer heading up.

The alti-baro profile allows you to choose which graphic we see in the watch on the 2nd page.

In this option, we always see the altimeter.

In the second, we always see the barometer.

In automatic mode, the graph displays the barometer when we stay at the same

elevation point, and it changes to the altimeter as soon as there is a change of at least 5m in 12 minutes.

The declination we saw earlier directly in the watch.

Bike pod Calibration.

The bike pod calculates in addition to the pace, the covered distance.

But to do this, the watch must know the circumference of the wheel.

In my case, at every turn of the wheel, my watch count 2050mm in distance.

But I have not used it for a long time.

In my travels, the GPS calculates my distance traveled.

Then we come to the unit parameter.

You can choose how everything is displayed.

Metric, imperial, or I even find very convenient the advanced option.

But it's perfect for us in Canada.

At school we are taught the metric method, but as soon as we enter on job market, everything is imperial.

Probably due to our proximity to the United States.

We measure our speed and our distances in km, but as soon as we have to measure some

something physical, we express ourselves in foot and in inch.

The thermostat of the house is in Celsius, but we have no idea if water to

21 Celcius is hot or cold for swimming.

Because for water, we always speak in Fahrenheit.

We buy a kilo of flour, but we calculate our weight in pounds.

Personally I strive to use everything in metric, but I can never remember how much I measure in cm.

5 feet 11 inches 3/4 ... 182cm.

So thanks to Suunto, we can mix all these measures to better match each one of us.

And finally, the personal settings.

Here, we can only consult them, to modify them you have to click on movescount settings.

Suunto only wants to know as much as possible on you to give more accurate information

regarding your heartbeat, calories burned, and ...

We'll go through it quickly because there's is not much to explain.

Here one can put our account public or private.

When we jog every morning or that we leave and always come back to the same

place of every bike ride, it becomes a little easy to guess where we live.

Here I connected my account to Strava, who is an application that I love.

It is with this application that I am public.

Strava allows to put an area on the private card.

As I added Strava to my Movescount account, all my activities done with my watch are

automatically transferred to Strava.

I invite you to watch my video on Strava by clicking on the link at the top right.

And in connection, we find the application that we need to synchronize the watch.

I leave you also a link in the description to access the same page.

This application needs to be installed on your computer to synchronize your watch

with all that we have done.

Just connect the watch to the small clip that comes in the box and wait for the end of the synchronization.

And now, we're ready to go, and that's exactly what we're going to do ...

Next week.

I'll take you to the mountains to show you how I use it in the field.

How Prince Philip has enjoyed getting behind the wheel of cars, tanks, motorbikes and a BUS - Duration: 3:40.

Despite his shock car crash last night, royal watchers would not have been too surprised to see the Duke of Edinburgh behind the wheel, particularly at the Sandringham estate in eastern England

Prince Philip has been a lifelong petrol head, relishing the opportunity to jump behind the wheel at royal visits throughout the years

He has cruised around in school coaches, double-decker buses, tanks and bikes and owned an impressive personal collection of rare and vintage motors, Indeed the dashing Prince wooed a young Prince Elizabeth in 1939 wife when he turned up in his 'fast MG sports car' and took her for a ride around London

Here, we take a look at the Duke of Edinburgh's love of cars and motors throughout the years

In a letter in 1939 the then-Princess wrote: 'Philip enjoys driving and does it fast! He has his own tiny M

Gwhich he is very proud of – he has taken me about in it, once up to London, which was great fun, only it was like sitting on the road, and the wheels are almost as high as one's head

' A 2008 ITV television interview marking his 60 years in public life was largely done while the prince drove around the royals' winter retreat

And in 2016, Prince Philip drove Barack Obama, with Queen Elizabeth and Michelle Obama sitting in the back, during the US president's state visit to Britain

A year later, he gave up his eco-friendly black taxi, which he used for getting to engagements in London, causing many a double-take

It is now in the Sandringham museum.A 1954 Lagonda 3 Litre Drophead Coupe that was made to order for the Duke of Edinburgh, winning Aston Martin its first Royal Warrant, has been sold at auction

Prince Philip also had his old Aston Martin sports car  - a 1954 Lagonda 3 Litre Drophead Coupe - modified so the Queen could check her hat using an extra vanity mirror and he could make prank calls to Prince Charles on a radio telephone

The four-seater car was made especially for the Prince and won Aston Martin its Royal Warrant

He used it to take Prince Charles to and from Cheam prep school and for trips to Cowdray Park for the polo
