Youtube daily report Jan 22 2019

Elizabeth: There's only two chords in the verse. Henry: Yeah, it's cool. It's a good little vamp.

Oh!

Umu: So now you'll be reacting to the K-indie rock band called Hyukoh.

The first song you'll be reacting to is called 'Citizen Kane' and

was released on their 2018 album. The song warns that living in excess of anything can lead to unhappiness and harm.

Jason: The song questions

fast-paced living and serves as a reminder to

take things slowly.

Umu: And the album that this song is from contains recurring themes of rebellion, love, and happiness.

Henry: Three, two, one.

Lindsey: This is not moderation, we are movin'. Fiona: Oh, so it's fast-paced. So this is representing too fast.

Rachel: The angst.

Jarod: Na-na-na-na....It fits, man.

Henry: I dig like the surf-rock vibe. Elizabeth: Yes. Let's do parallel 5ths.

Rachel : It's like a whole different genre. Hugo: Yeah

Rachel: It's like almost alternative. Hugo: Yeah, I know. it's like a mixture of like,

hard rock and then sixties. Rachel: Yeah, yeah, yeah.

The beat isn't sixties. Hugo: Yeah. Rachel: The instrumentation and echo.

Isaac: (singing)

Kevin: I like the syncopation--duh-duh-duh.

Kevin: Half time--correct.

Fiona: Now I'm no longer going like this, I'm going like... Lindsey: Yeah.

Fiona: Let's just not talk when we react, let's just dance. This is how this makes me feel.

Now it's like... Lindsey: But then that scream, and then all of a sudden it comes back in super fast-paced. That is so awesome.

Rachel: That drummer's gonna die. Hugo: Very wall of sound. Rachel: Yeah, yeah, yeah. How do you....?

Kevin: I mean, it's not that harmonically, you know, crazy,

but it's just a solid song with a lot of good,

different sections.

Elizabeth: The like,

super-jammin drums and the very grungy

guitars and bass--it just makes me feel anxious.

Which is definitely a personal opinion.

Henry: Yeah. See, and I can understand why you feel that way, but like, it frees me.

Jarod: I has like,

like the quarter notes feels like it's driving, but yet slightly delayed. Does that make sense?

Collin: Yeah.

Jarod: It's really cool.

Stephen: I think the half time's really effective, because I feel like just because of what the drums are doing, it just,

how it feels more cut time. Seiji: Yeah. Stephen: I feel like if they didn't have a section like this--it almost allows you,

as a listener, to catch your breath.

Seiji: Yeah, it would be a little too much. Stephen: Otherwise I feel like yeah, too much. I'd be like, oh, my goodness. Seiji: Yeah, definitely too much.

Rachel: Oh, my God, the chorus is a lot.

Is this like, horns? It's more like everybody play now. Hugo: This is like, my blood pressure is increasing. Rachel: Chord, chord, chord, chord, chord, chord.

Yeah, it almost sounds like that thing that when you go like this when you're listening to music, like, with your ears, and it sounds like (distorted singing)

Lindsey: It just... Fiona: (singing)

it's so good.

Fiona: And the drums are persistent at the (imitating drums). Lindsey: Yeah.

Lindsey: Whoa. Fiona: That was like, the ????? at the end Lindsey: That was just...oh, my God.

Fiona: That was so cool. I think that really went with the message, like how it was like, pow, pow, pow!

Relentless--everything going so quickly, and then it like slowed down, and then there was a scream each time after the half time.

It was like, aaugh!--And it was like, back into that. Their guitarist is so good. Like, I loved the sound and the notes,

like Lindsey said. Lindsey: Can we just listen to that a couple more times and then just call it a day? I'd be happy.

Umu: Please sum up your thoughts and then explain maybe, why, to those who don't know how drum set works, Stephen: Sure. Umu: why that part is tiring.

Stephen: The drum set part is tiring just because like you hear the hi-hat going, like, (clapping),

like playing a lot of eighth notes,

so he's probably doing that with one hand. Which, like, if you do that for four minutes, like,

is tiring, just like, muscle-wise. Also, all the fills

he was doing were sixteenth notes, like, (mimicking drum). So I mean, just out of personal experience playing a song like that,

like, I used be in a rock band, my hands would hurt, just because you're also using bigger sticks, because you're playing with other

Instruments that are amplified. It's not like jazz, where most of the instruments are acoustic.

So because of that, and you're using larger sticks,

it just requires a lot more muscles from your hands and arms, which is just like gonna make you tired.

That's why like a lot of people in like hard rock and

heavy metal bands and stuff like that, if you look at the drummers, a good portion of them are like, legit ripped. Like, they're very

fit, cuz you need to be to play music like that.

Henry: That was great. I loved it. From like, a technical standpoint,

the drumming was awesome--super high energy. The bass playing was cool.

The format of the song was awesome.

I thought it was a perfect length for what it was. They didn't over saturate with words,

they allowed there to be like, instrumental sections that kind of like let it breathe, gave it a couple different colors, which was cool.

I thought it was awesome. And now for a totally different opinion.

Elizabeth: No, I mean like first someone who enjoys that kind of music, it's a gem. I tend to find like,

super-grungy music is just very stressful for me to listen to, for whatever reason.

Colin: I think there are bands that have done similar things.

I thought that the rhythm at the end actually, when the guy was soloing over it,

which was almost like a Celtic rhythm, that was kind of cool, actually.

I just, I listen to a lot of rock, and this doesn't seem like anything new or original,

except for maybe the rhythm at the end, and

maybe...The texture I thought was actually pretty solid. But like, they're obviously good musicians, they're all playing together,

the singer was good, the solo was fine, but like, ehhh... yeah, I didn't like it. Umu: Okay.

Isaac: Wow. The way that just makes you want to anticipate like, what they're gonna sing. The lyrics they were singing, it's like.

why are you...is it why are you rushing, taxi driver? Kenvin: Uh-huh.

Isaac: Yeah, it's like, just having that lyric line. And the way it changes, so like, you would just say it normally, and then later you

have layers, and then after it becomes like a chant, and it's so cool.

Jason: Next up is another one of their songs.

So this is one of the 2014 releases, called 'Our Place'.

Umu: 'Our Place' is a song about loneliness, and the singer wants someone special to hold them tight.

even though that person is out of reach and lives a completely different life.

Kevin: For real, though.

All right.

You go.

Isaac: Hugo, Hyukoh.

Rachel: Hey, hey.

It's almost funk.

Henry: Yeah! This is awesome. I love this.

Stephen: Weird progression, with like the bass line. Seiji: It is, it is. Parallel.

Henry: The drumming is so tight.

The bass playing is super-groovin'. Elizabeth: Yeah. Henry: Holy f*ck!

Elizabeth: That bass player is jammin'.

Kevin: He uses the same melody for two chords that are a tritone apart, which is pretty incredible.

Collin: I love how the bass keeps building.

Elizabeth: There's only like two chords in the verse. Henry: Yeah, it's cool. It's a good little vamp.

Oh!

Kevin: Now, these two chords are a major second apart, so it's a more back and forth, instead of that jarring, hopping around quality.

Fiona: I love the triplet motifs throughout this. Lindsey: I do too, and I like how they're having his voice coming with like--his

vocal rhythm is the same as what's happening in the drums, like they're together. Fiona: Yeah.

Lindsey: it's like rhythmic unison right there. Fiona: Oh, yeah, with the guitar, as well. Lindsey: Yeah.

Henry: This is like such interesting songwriting, Elizabeth: Yeah. Henry: cuz like,

every--I think I probably said this before--every turn

feels new, but familiar.

Henry: It's perfect. It's so valuable in pop music.

Kevin: Oh!

Kevin: So you get a smoother version of the tritone progression as well.

Almost octatonic stuff going on.

Ooh!

The song has its own logic, like it lands on an A major dominant seventh chord for some reason.

Rachel: Yeah, somebody needs to solo.

That's what it needs.

Okay, great.

Lindsey: This is cool because it's like,

total improvisation-sounding in the guitar, but then the drums are doing kind of like a marching band kind of thing. Fiona: It's militaristic. Lindsey: Yeah.

Military-like.

So it's like, that's very structured and the guitar is very not structured, going on at same time. Fiona: True.

Rachel: Like, the background parts are so rhythmically focused that it's repetitive, but it's interesting. Hugo: Um-hmm.

Rachel: (singing)

Hugo: (singing)

Rachel: I also like how his voice is mixed.

Fiona: The vocal melody here has the potential to sound optimistic,

and every time I kind of expect that, but every time it's like, na-na,

and then it doesn't go anywhere, it goes back down. Lindsey: It's like a little sigh. Fiona: It's like, whatever the situation is with this story,

it's not gonna work out. It's pretty pessimistic, overall. Lindsey: It's like things are going fine but then they're like kind of just (sigh).

Fiona: Yeah, it's like Mahler's sixth--like, devastation wins in the end.

Kevin: It is drifting away. It's drifting back and forth.

They're a big fan of the repeated hit chords. Rachel: Yep. I like this part.

Ay!

Again.

Hugo: Ooh!

Hugo: Just a lack of... Rachel: Yeah, he's got such a cool voice. Hugo: The lack of percussive instrumentation

is nice after having so much of it. Rachel: Yeah.

Rachel: Again, the guitars they use are super sixties-sounding in timbre. Hugo: Um-hmm.

Elizabeth: It's a long song.

Henry: I was just actually just gonna say, Elizabeth: Yeah. Henry: it's gettin' a little bit lengthy, but it's so good, like...

Elizabeth: Oh yeah, no, that's not a criticism. It's just like, they have more to say. I mean, I just played Mahler six, which is,

Henry: 90 minutes long, yeah Elizabeth: the last movement itself is half an hour.

Seiji: Oh, here we go.

Kevin: Mmm. A major.

Elizabeth: Let's emphasize the strong beats. Heck, yeah.

Henry: They're like...the way that they use melodies, the way that they used-- the song is over. Elizabeth: (singing)

Henry: The way that they used melodies to make dissonant harmonies sound consonant is so cool.

Because they were moving by tritone and it was just,

like super compelling, but also like, you could definitely see the beauty in something that rubs a little bit

weirdly on the ear. Elizabeth: Very interesting harmonically.

There really we're only like two chords in the whole piece, but like the variation, and rhythm, and tempo

really kept your interest, even with like a small amount of material.

So if you ever are writing a song with like one thing remains constant through the whole thing,

you have to vary the other aspects in order to keep it interesting, and they did that really well.

Collin: So Interesting.

Jarod: It's just like, there's some really interesting colors that are going on with like the chords. Collin: Definitely.

Jarod: The rhythm I did find to get a little repetitive towards the end, which was, I mean, probably did what they were going for.

I didn't think I don't think I necessarily bought into it as well,

but it's like they started to add textures and stuff towards the end to start to really build,

but I think I was already kinda like checked out. Collin: I would agree with that.

That's kind of a thing though, with this sort of music. Jarod: Yeah, that's what I figured. That's what I figured.

Collin: Yeah, but actually what they did that was interesting, whenever it became a little more complex, there was some interesting

like, really creative rhythms between the guitars and the bass, especially. The way the bass and guitars

communicated was especially unique. But there was one point where one of the guitars was muting, another was

(singing),

and then it was--I guess it had to be the bass--but he was also outlining the beat.

(snapping fingers)

That was good, I don't remember what the muting rhythm was,

but I actually thought their nuanced use of rhythm was good, because

most rock is not like that, and that was really good.

I also really liked ambient like, you know, blossoming of sound that happened. That was good.

Isaac: What a groove.

Kevin: The first riff we hear, and probably the one that appears the most, is very jagged, and it involves two dominant seventh chords Isaac: Um-hmm.

Kevin: that are a tritone apart. And

because of the tonal ambiguity, which means there's

not a clear key to what that section is, or the entire song as a matter of fact, I think this song is atonal.

I don't think the song has a key section at all. And that's what makes certain weird chords work

so well. And again, like I said, it feels like a

late DeBussy piece, in the way

it uses these dominant seventh chords, cuz he uses dominant seventh chords, and just planes around a lot.

It's a pretty long song, but it grabs your attention throughout. Isaac: Yeah.

Jason: And of the two songs, which one did you prefer? Henry: This one. Elizabeth: This one.

Henry: Although they were both fantastic. I just happen to like this one more.

Elizabeth: I felt like I hadn't heard something like this before.

Henry: Yeah. Sometimes with songs like, that are stylized in the way that the first one was, that sort of grungy, like sort of punk vibe,

it can almost feel like there's just a track of distortion, constantly, throughout the whole thing.

So like, what I really appreciated about this, is that it like breathed, you know. Elizabeth: That's true.

Stephen: I definitely liked the first one, 'Citizen Cane'. Seiji: That one was pretty awesome, yeah.

Stephen: And it was just like different, you know, like they developed their ideas more,

and the motifs that they did were very melodic.

It wasn't just stagnant, you know, it had more direction. And then like the contrast, like going double-time, super effective.

I thought that was a really great song. Like, they're very talented.

Kevin: The fact that I've had time to listen to both these songs, and

also catching, 'Citizen Kane' live, 'Citizen Kane' is a really cool song to hear

on first listen, but it definitely, the repetitive nature of it shows on repeat listens.

And I don't think it's one of your Hyukoh's strongest songs, while the other one is so inventive and

ssomehow it keeps your attention

longer. You're not sure what to feel when listening to it,

just because you don't know if it's major, if it's in minor, you're just kind of floating around in this weird limbo,

what they call unconscious dream space, to quote Inception a little bit. So,

I definitely prefer 'Our Place'. I definitely prefer 'Our Place', even though 'Citizen Cane' is an alt rock bop, for sure.

We used to be friends like it's the person that was it's a different

personality let's go this is what I think if you like you don't have to tell

him your keep surprising me I like you thank you

it is hard to see him developing in connection with her because I knew her

I'm like buff some boat I mean I don't know another word I'll take the tub I

don't think she's showing her true self and every side of her but that's why I'm

like so shocked so he needs to know the truth

how are you are you well I think I have like talk to

you about something you know well you know what do you mean want to talk to me

about I just like have something like on my mind and like I feel like it's like

bothering me in a way and I just think that like tell you and then but

basically like me and Kalyn we were friends like we were roommates at Miss

USA which was already like a really intense itch ooh a shin I think we

handle stress a lot differently then just like has the year went on there's

like just a few things that happen that like I guess I got fallout I guess you

could say in like we haven't we had got each other since

is there something no like because you said a lot of things happened is there

something I should know like just stress situation I was like are you saying like

is she mean is she manipulative is she fake is she all that that looks not a

good one so that's like hard because I'm like that's tight it's like that

I know I would like that's why I feel like I might so you feel like if I even

have feelings for her I can't have feelings for you

because you guys are you feel like you're at that different

it's just I think right now I just I'm gonna have to take some time when you

figure this thing out all right West you know talk about this

later

Amelia's the best

he forgives me leaving off my conversation Hanna I

don't feel great about it I'm confused frustrated can we go check

what was that about I have no idea I have no clue I you know always show no

listen you might so I'm a little like right now I'm just a little confused and

frustrated because I had a conversation with Hannah huh

and the conversation was along the lines of your guys's relationship no longer is

Ben and the words like hostile and she had like remove herself from the

friendship and then quite frankly I didn't get a lot of clarity on the

situation from the side either so I just want to talk to you

oh no I would love to be completely open and ice um yeah we were we were friends

but then we were in a competitive environment I'm Miss USA and I feel like

um we handle competition differently like for me I just I get very quiet

um and there's things that like I haven't like talked to you about that

have been like traumatic experiences in my life that deeply hurt me and and I

mean it's like it's not that like I've wanted to talk to you about this like

yeah it's as a relationship progresses like it's like real like it's not just

like you know and it's something that like I had intentions of bringing up to

you because it's some stuff that's like affected my life um but not tonight and

not right now you know and I don't know it's better I just like I felt like you

had a great time together and I would hate for you to like without that ever

he didn't look comfortable he definitely didn't know it looks like it was

uncomfortable I'm just he's just oh babe Hey

this is extremely uncomfortable now I want you to know I like you a lot this

is about hard time because being in our connection and the fact that you saved

me today on the pyre Jesus so Kailyn boy you accept this rose yeah

he gave her the first word together the second was he gave her the rose on the

date like he likes her it's very frustrating inartful I've probably just

ruin my chances and I don't know how to fix it

I've been through a lot of adversity in my life so for her to say I made up and

try and break up a real relationship it's incredibly frustrating it's like

it's infuriating why are you crying let's have girl I

should be happy but I'm not because it's like personal stuff that I don't want

yeah no you don't have to shy with me at all I was just asking

yeah there's some reason here to be like I trigger her I'm a trigger for her and

I want him to send her home because he's being lied to

The MAGA Hat Kid & Native American Veteran Controversy | The Daily Show - Duration: 3:47.

- We have to admit as people,

the toughest thing to combat is our bias.

And so you see the story.

You see a video of a kid who has a

Native American man who's playing his drum

and these kids are all around the guy

and they're jeering and they're dancing,

he's got this smug look on his face

and that's life.

Everyone that sees that smug look

wants to punch that kid, right?

I even saw conservative people online,

when the first view, they were like look

at that face, you want to punch that face.

'Cause he does and it's not that, Trump will not,

he just looks like an asshole.

That's how you look when you're a teenager at that age.

No one likes a teenager smiling,

like yeah, I just, I just could punch you.

You know, but you see the image and

immediately people are like this is the narrative,

this is the story.

And then it becomes this thing of like

oh, these kids, they harassed this man

and this, you know, there's this horrible story

and then you see the additional videos come out

and I go, if I was the news, I'm like you guys,

surely you guys could have just searched

on social media before reporting the story.

Just a simple search, just search,

you would have found it all.

You would have seen this crazy fringe group,

black Israelites or whatever shouting

those things at the kids.

And you see the kids responding with their chants

and you see the Native American elders

who were there, they had a permit to protest

and the approachers were just moving through

and then they encountered these two groups fighting

and then they were like we're just gonna go in

and play our drums and try and get everyone,

you know, diffuse the situation

and then they become the situation.

But it's like a weird story where I feel like

depending on who was holding camera,

their story made them look like the victim,

every single person.

You know, 'cause then the kids came out

and they were like we, we were afraid.

And I'm like get the fuck out of here, man.

(audience laughing)

I'm watching the video, you guys are dancing,

your shirt is off, I've never taken my shirt

off when I'm afraid.

(audience laughing)

I'm never like, I'm afraid, yeah.

You're not afraid.

You don't have to lie.

You can say look we weren't trying

to be assholes.

This Native American guy came and

played the drum in the middle of our thing

and we were responding to someone else,

but you don't have to lie and be like we were afraid.

I was trying to diffuse the situation.

You weren't trying to diffuse shit, man, you know.

You were having a good time.

You were enjoying this moment that you and your friends

were having together, all right.

And you can't make it like, you just like

I was just, they were in a Catholic school.

The MAGA hats is also a thing that

you have to acknowledge as people.

Like we can't make it seem, like sometimes people,

you know the people want to claim complete innocence.

It's like you know the certain things

that evoke a certain emotion, right.

'Cause many Republicans are like I'm not

gonna wear MAGA hats.

MAGA hats is a very explicit, you know,

political symbol, you know how it makes people feel.

It's like yeah, look at them, got my MAGA hat,

what are you gonna do about it, got that, you know.

And then all of a sudden I don't get why

the people, why do they think that I hold certain views.

It's like what do you mean?

'Cause of the, 'cause of the, you know what

the hat symbolizes.

Those kids, they were being assholes,

they were being kids, you know, they like Trump,

that's another discussion that we can

get into on another day.

I don't think we can dissect the person's

racism/white supremacy.

I don't think it's, I think it's too convoluted

and too complicated to get into in one sitting

in a few hundred characters on Twitter.

You know, but it think everyone played

the victim card a little too hard.

You know, and I think it was shitty

that the kid got death threats.

I think it was shitty that his family got death threats.

I don't think that's, you know,

the solution to anything.

If anything, I know it's a crazy statement to make,

but I feel like that's what the national mall

is supposed to be about.

People go there and protest,

say whatever they want to say and

then you go home.

I think that was a great display of all First Amendment,

no Second Amendment, it's a good time.

(audience laughing and applauding)

(funky music)

It's good that they're irritated, that's how pro-wrestling should be.

That's all.

We may not be done yet.

How to find your DREAM JOB while EARNING MONEY! - Duration: 13:42.

"Quit the job you hate"

"Travel the world!"

"Follow your passion"

is what every 'motivational' Youtuber is trying to tell me these days.

Bullshit.

Then who will take care of my family? You?

When I started my career in 2009,

my only passion was to earn money

because most of us are not born with a silver spoon.

We first have to meet our financial responsibilities

whether we like the job or not.

But the advantage that we have is that

meeting our responsibilities makes us a professional

and that professionalism brings us closer to our dream job

like it did for me and a lot of other friends I know.

And today I am going to tell you exactly how.

So it doesn't matter if you are a student, a home-maker or a person stuck in a job that you don't like,

today by the end of this video

I'll give you a step-by-step procedure of how to find your dream job

while you earn money.

So in today's video we are going to discuss

How to find out who you are?

How to figure out what your dream job is?

Things that will help you achieve your dream job

but most importantly, towards the end in the Bonus Section

I'll give you examples of people like you and me

who had a 9 to 7 job and have still found the work that they love to do.

But before that, if you love the work that I am doing

or if you like me even a little bit

make sure you hit that 'Like' button

because that motivates me to make more videos.

Lets begin.

So figuring out who you are, professionally

or even personally

is a 3-step procedure.

Step 1: Get a job. Any job.

The reason why I am asking you this is because

a job teaches you a lot of things, like

team work, meeting deadlines, professionalism, drafting mails, presentation skills

but most importantly it teaches you something that's not taught in our colleges

and that is how to talk to the opposite gender

without shaking inside.

I started my career as a Software Engineer

and for the initial few years of my career

I loved my job.

I really did.

Because from a 'jhalli' college graduate,

it made me a confident, it made me a better person.

But unfortunately, most of the college graduates I meet these days tell me that

the 'idea' of desk jobs sounds boring to them.

See, if you want to know who you are then

the initial few years of your career should be dedicated to

Personality Development

and a job does that along with getting you a pay-cheque.

Step 2: List down your strengths and weaknesses.

What will happen after you get a job?

You will work.

And what happens to your work?

It gets reviewed by your colleagues, by your bosses

and that is the best way to figure out your strengths and your weaknesses.

For example, suppose you are good at following up and getting work done...

that's your strength.

And may be you are not so good at presenting your ideas...

that's your weakness.

So your strengths give you direction

and your weaknesses tell you what you need to work on.

So take your appraisals seriously, talk to your colleagues because they know more about

your style of work than you do,

look at the work you have done in the past and make a list

of your strengths and your weaknesses

because these realisations help you figure out who you are.

Step 3: Ask yourself the IKIGAI questions.

IKIGAI is a Japanese concept. It means

"A reason for being"

"A reason to wake-up every morning"

(Oooo.....fancy stuff)

But it's as real as it gets because

to find your IKIGAI you need to answer these 4 questions.

What are you good at?

What do you love to do?

What does the world need?

What can you get paid for?

At the intersection of these questions is your IKIGAI.

Now, these look super simple but

these questions are so difficult to answer.

You might be wondering..

"I like to travel, watch movies, spend time with my family, but...

who will pay me for it?"

That's what even I thought initially

but the more you do point #3 of our next section

the easier it gets to answer these questions.

But note down these 4 questions, ok?

Because in your journey of finding your dream job

these questions will help you think in the right direction.

Now, while you are discovering/creating your personality

you can also figure out what your dream job is.

Here's how.

Discovering your dream job is also a 3-step process

and the first step is to make a list of the jobs that you like.

CA, engineer, doctor, lawyer, teacher, civil services.

Most of us know only these jobs.

So here are the things that will help you make a list.

a. Google. Literally type out "different professions"

and make a list of the professions that appeal to you.

b. Ask a question on Quora.

Most probably somebody would've asked it already. All you have to do is

scroll through the answers.

c. Join different clubs. Now what does that mean?

When I was working, I was talking to only 15-20 team mates of mine

who had the same background as me.

So to meet more people I joined a club called 'Toastmasters' which is a

public-speaking club.

I remember a friend of mine had commented,

"Why are you wasting 36$ just to talk to people?"

but being a part of this club developed my public-speaking skills.

I won 5 rounds to represent India at the World Championship of Public Speaking at Florida, USA.

And I met people from different professions..

Software Engineers, Stand-up Comedians, Politicians, RJs, Fashion Designers, Entrepreneurs, Soft-skills Trainers.

So I was exposed to all of these careers that helped me decide what my dream job is.

This is where I also met my husband.

So if you want to find out what your dream job is, you need to go out and interact with...

humans.

Join different clubs like TM, Rotary, check meetup.com,

check the events section of your newspaper to find out what's happening that weekend.

Because the more contacts you make, the clearer your career path becomes.

And the fourth and the most important thing to do to make a list of the professions that you like is..

think skills instead of jobs.

For example, suppose you say, "I want to be a writer", then it's just one job

but if you think of "Writing" as a skill then you can be

a columnist, a novelist, technical writer, content strategist, film critic, travel writer, Youtube content creator..

so many exciting careers!

So make a list of the skills that you have

or the one's that you want to learn and then branch out different professions out of it.

Step 2: Learn those skills

Now that you have a list of professions and skills that you are interested in

go out there and learn them.

Attend workshops, get certifications, attend classes.

If you ask me, one of my favourite ways of learning a new skill

is through this website called Skillshare.

This website has helped me develop my creative, design, marketing and business skills.

I'll tell you more about it later.

But the point is, do whatever you can

to learn more.

The third and the final step to figure out your dream job is

to get into a relationship

with multiple jobs.

Don't get too excited.

Now suppose your list says...

I want to be a PR Manager,

I want to be a Photographer,

I want to be a Stand-up comedian.

Great!

But you don't have to marry right away.

Just pick one and get into a committed relationship for a couple of months

to see where it goes.

For example, one of the items on my list was..

I want to be an RJ.

I love how RJs get to be on radio and play cool songs.

I thought that is my dream job.

But I was not sure about it.

Luckily, thanks to the clubs I joined, I made friends with an RJ

and I requested her to let me observe her, shadow her.

She agreed and it was

traumatising.

She has to wake up early,

keep searching for news items,

create content everyday,

get that content approved from her bosses because you cannot make mistakes on the radio,

represent her channel at various events,

keep posting on social media,

keep doing 'LIVE' to interact with her audience.

She just can't turn off her cellphone.

It was a tough job and after a while I realized

it's not my cup of tea.

See, all the jobs are tough

but we need to figure out which process will we enjoy?

Now you might be thinking,

"OMG, who will go out and do so much mehnat?"

But see, you can sit at home, watch all the TED talks you want,

make all the excel sheets you can

but all of this will be useless

unless you go out there and try it.

So instead of quitting your job, look for mini learning opportunities,

volunteer work that you can do in your spare time

and if you don't like that job, cross it off your list

until you reach the job that you'd like to marry

atleast for a few years.

I think by now you would've figured out that

finding your dream job is a journey

and here are a few things that will help you in that journey.

1. Financial Knowledge

Yes. You need to know how to save your money, how to invest your money

so that when you finally decide to quit your job

you atleast have 4-5 months of your income as savings

so that you are comfortable incase your dream job

pays slightly less in the beginning.

But don't worry, I have got you covered.

I have made a plethora of videos about how to save your money,

how to grow your money.

I have left the link in the description, do check it out.

2. Exercise

Before you close this video, hear me out.

Our body is capable of doing 'x' amount of work

and if all that energy is going in your existing job

then how will you find your dream job?

By increasing the efficiency of your body

through exercise and eating right.

I am not asking you to build biceps

but by walking, running, cycling or playing any sport

for 30 minutes everyday will give you crazy energy

that you can invest in getting closer to your dream job.

And the third and the final thing that will help you in this journey is

Skillshare.

Like we discussed earlier, Skillshare is a website

where you can take more than 25,000 classes

related to the skills that you want to learn.

Like photography, writing, business, technology, lifestyle.

My personal favourite are the marketing classes

and the writing classes

because they help me develop better content.

You can even join different groups where

you can ask a question or initiate a discussion

with like-minded people.

I love this website because the first time I saw it,

I got the 3 idiots.."Knowledge jahan se miley lapetlo" kind feeling

which is why I jumped on the opportunity of a collab with them

and I have got something for you too.

The first 500 of my subscribers to click the link below

will get a free 2-Month Premium Membership trial.

And even if you don't get it, the annual subscription is less than 10$ per month.

So if you are as crazy as me about learning new things

and are desperate to find your dream career

then don't miss this opportunity.

Click the Skillshare link below and get it.

And finally, it's time for the Bonus Section.

But before I tell you that, make sure you Subscribe to my channel

and hit that 'Bell' icon

because I make career and finance videos for you only.

Stories of Mark Zuckerberg, Elon Musk

following their passion, don't connect with me.

But if my cousin is doing it then I'd be like..

"I can do it too!"

which is why I am going to end today's video by giving you

examples of people like you and me

who had a 9 to 7 job and are on this journey

of finding their dream job.

Vivek Muralidharan.

He is a Software Engineer by day

and a Stand-up Comedian by evening.

He says he loves exploring funny ideas

and his corporate job gives him the financial security

while he is in a relationship with stand-up.

Arvind Ramachander.

He was a Database Designer in US.

He took this photo during a fund-raising event

and that got him excited about photography.

He moved back to India and slowly transitioned

to becoming a full-time wedding photographer.

And trust me, his clicks are 'sooper'.

Jahangir Pasha.

He was a Team Leader at JP Morgan

but fitness always had his heart.

After proper financial planning, he decided to become a Fitness Trainer

and start his own studio.

Bonny Sikdar.

She is a Sr. Manager with a MBA in marketing in an I.T firm by day

and a Zumba trainer by evening because she loves to dance.

But recently she got her dream job at Cult, Hyd.

She says that along with her dance, her corporate background

played a major role in getting her the job.

And finally, we have Naveen Pandit.

He says that he was a small townie with bad english diction

but a Software job at Infosys gave him confidence

and he joined various theatre groups while at Infy

where he discovered his love for acting

until he finally decided to move to Mumbai

and pursue acting full-time.

If you are a TV buff, you might recognise him from various TV serials.

The reason I chose their examples instead of Mark Zuckerberg's is because

I know these folks

and I really admire their hustle.

For them, finding their dream job is a journey

and they are enjoying it every single day.

I truly believe that just like them

you can find your journey too.

On that note, I promise to see you again very soon

until then, if you miss me, you can follow me on Instagram

that is my ID

and don't forget to keep fighting

The Urban Fight to be Fit.

CMLL Fantastica Mania 2019 (January 21) Post Match Interview [3rd match] - Duration: 9:03.

Look out! Look out! It's Taichi!

Taichi! Taichi is here.

Taichi has shown up, dragging the Intercontinental title!

And here's Desperado and Kanemaru! Suzuki-gun attacks!

All of a sudden, February 3rd in Sapporo-

Suzuki showed up. Suzuki-gun is here.

This is- There's the bell.

This match has been ruled a no contest!

Ah, I suppose so.

Suzuki-gun is attacking everyone, CHAOS, Los Ingos, and New Japan.

Last night, Naito said, "Where has my challenger for Sapporo gone?"

Right. He said Taichi on the tour earlier but then disappeared.

Taichi's going for it... Black Mephisto!

That's his most powerful move.

And now he's posing, mocking him.

They're acting like they showed up because they were called out.

Naito and Taichi will fight for the Intercontinental title on February 3rd in Sapporo.

And BUSHI and Takagi have a title match against Kanemaru and Desperado, as well.

However...

And now BUSHI's in danger of losing his mask.

Ah! His mask got ripped off!

There goes Narita-

And now Taichi takes the microphone.

Shut-up, you bastards.

Shut-up, bastards!

Now they're dousing the mask in booze.

Sorry. I thought today was the first day of the next tour. I made a mistake.

Huh, Naito? Did you got laid out the same way, again?

You don't learn, do you? Looking at you, I see that now.

Hey, you guys have the worst manners, you crappy Japon fans.

Idiots. Listen to me.

You guys should have realized this already, he's all talk. There is nothing more to him.

Shut-up, bastards!

Shut-up, bastards! Bastards!

Hey, Naito, Sapporo in winter is known as the place where things happen. Looking forward to it.

See ya. Adios!

Taichi... This-

Sorry. My bad. I messed up the dates.

Naito kept saying that he didn't mind if I didn't take action.

He kept saying that, that he didn't care if I acted or not.

But I'm a busy guy, I can't respond to every little thing that he says.

I run around all day, from morning to night.

But today, I just goofed. I showed up early, accidentally.

Sorry. My bad.

I had nothing going on, alright with me.

I was surprised to get the call because I've just been sitting around for days.

Hey, Takagi and BUSHI, but before them, Roppongi, you punks are an annoyance.

You guys lost already, so why don't you just go home?

Hey, you know what? Okay, let me talk to you, Roppongi, first,

You guys were just challengers and you lost to the other challengers.

That was just a number one contenders match, right? Then why do we have to challenge for the title?

These belong to us.

Are you guys saying that you're the champions? Even though you didn't beat us? Good for you!

I...

BUSHI you said that we couldn't elevate the titles, right?

But what are you doing for them?

Do you know how many times we defended these titles? Do you know how long we held these?

Don't deceive yourselves, calling yourselves champions. These belongs to us.

He's spoken.

Sapporo at this time is when things happen, right?

I guess it depends on me if something happens or not.

It's all up to me and these two. It's not my business, whatever happens-

We'll finish you guys in Sendai, before Sapporo.

That's a good idea.

Naito, don't get so cocky. Don't talk down to me.

I'm completely different from a year ago.

Maybe you were the trigger that changed me, made me what I am now.

So, let me try a few things on you.

Don't talk down to me. Don't get carried away. You will pay a price.

Hey, Desperado, you did this!

Remember, next time we go one on one. And I will rip your mask off.

I fight for New Japan.

何があってもだ。絶対に。

FANTASTICA MANIA…

I was able to finish this tour, safely, with no injuries.

I will go home, safely, and take a long bath and have dinner.

Last year, this time, I had a bad injury. I got snowed in and had to sleep in the dojo.

One year later, I was able to revenge here, in Korakuen Hall.

But clearly, my results weren't good, and I couldn't get wins.

However, I was able to succeed by surpassing last year's FANTASTICA MANIA.

So, I will keep trying hard in order to get this kind opportunity again.

Even though I'm beaten up, I am still alive and kicking.

Last night, I whined a bit, using my age as an excuse,

But that doesn't matter, at all.

I will be in FANTASTICA MANIA until I'm 100.

Hannah B. Exposes The Real Caelynn To Colton | The Bachelor US - Duration: 7:35.

I want him to send her home because he's being lied to

you

A.R.B. - Hasta el día de hoy ft. Dj Racso (2019) Audio Oficial + Letra - Duration: 3:08.

Number one: I believe it after I am accused of sound in the form of rap, and I can see them raising their

finger. Number two: they are agonizing efforts in song form. Number three: tell me

what time, if I do it wrong or good. Insecurity takes over my being, but something tells me that

I did well to choose my way of life as a suicide on paper. I did not settle for recording

in a cassette I had the balls and in rhymes I was educated. My father wanted an architect.

I was born stubborn, I'm sorry. I continued with freestyle in my position at the end of the room, listening

to rap, without understanding anything. I liked the music I sampled, but I always listened to it and

imagined how to make it original with a musical character. As everything is done I started to recycle

drums of rap songs. Without thinking so much I started to create to this day.

Without thinking so much. To this day with love and passion. To this day my form

of crying, my sustenance and my charm.

Society demands a lot and delivers little. For example, social networks out of focus.

I still do not have a cabin or expensive machines, I just have my job and a couple of balls.

In Chile, dedicating oneself to music is difficult, starting with the haters and the double

faces, and, as if it will not be enough, they want to see you well but without touching anything of their slice.

As you can hear, it's been years since the beginning and I still do not see the end. They will have

to kill me if they want to hurt me because if I act well, I do not expect anything from the fans.

From El Texas, Maipú, to this day, collecting experience where I'm going, thanking

each gesture with my convoy, but do not get confused, this is not what I am.

I have the respect of pioneers, novices and grandparents. Some call me school, but it's not what

I want, it's just a consequence of living in war. I have danced with the ugly, the tide has been

calm and I still have songs to do, life to go. So the liars

tremble.

How to Build your Start Up Online Business From Scratch in 9 Steps - Duration: 7:57.

Well Hello!

My name is Renee Lamb and I am your job exit strategist.

You will learn 9 simple steps to build your start up from scratch.

I'm going to take you from idea to launch, with some steps you probably didn't think

about.

Watch till the end where I will inform you how to go even deeper into making your start

up a reality.

0:46 Step 1 Mindset Toolbox Most people want to

jump right in to getting their business up and running.

Let me tell you, you need to take care of your mindset first.

Cause you will go through blocks, struggles and frustration and it is great to have these

tools ready for when you need them, then to have to find them when you are stressed out.

1:16 They are as follows: Morning & Evening Routine,

Visualization, Journaling, Affirmation and creating Intentional Time.

Step 2.

Get to Know you – your business should be created around who you are, not who your client

is.

So, you should learn about your personality from all angles.

It will help you to find the right business model

1:46 to set up to service your clients.

You should take Personality test, at least 5.

Create your WHY, you are doing what you are doing.

Create your future lifestyle for all areas of your life, and create your home office

you will love to work in.

Step 3.

Find your Profitable Biz Idea.

If you have many passions or ideas.

You need to narrow it

2:16 down to the 1 you will create your business

around.

Pro Tip – do market research of your industry and competitors to help you shape your unique

competitive edge.

Step 4.

Who do You serve (ideal client)?

You will need to create your ideal client avatar.

Really figure out who that person is.

Also figure out where they are located.

Pro-tip –

2:46 when you are doing your competitor research

look at the platforms they are on.

That will help you to find your people.

Creating Your Signature Offer.

First you should create your Client Journey.

How do your people get into your orbit (that would be your freebie, aka a lead magnet.

From that, then what is the next step they want to take of course, it is to your program

once they take that program what is the next program.

3:16 And once they take that program, what is the

next.

That is your client journey.

When creating your signature offer, make your life easy.

Create a full day or half day VIP day, or e-course.

Pro-Tip – outline your full offer at first.

Only create your first module or step fully.

Spend the way more time in the benefits

3:47 of the program, results the client will receive.

In creating your signature offer, you will also want to create the lead magnet that leads

to it, your lead magnet landing page, the email sequence that leads to your offer, Your

sales page of your offer.

Step 6.

Automate your Service.

From all the content, you created in step 5.

Now you want to automate this

4:17 You will want an auto responder, like, mailchimp

or convert kit for your email sequence, which gives out your lead magnet.

A website where you have your blog, home page, about me, maybe your course, and where they

can sign up for your lead magnet.

Pro-Tip: this is where you will put in place your branding.

Your colors, logo, font, all of that will go on your website.

4:47 Step 7.

Set up your Social Media.

You should only set up no more than 3 social media platforms where you know your people

hang out on.

Eventually you could add on others.

But start out manageable.

Pro-tip: start out on our social media platform for brand awareness.

You want people to get to know who you are and actually become aware of your company.

And how you can.

5:18 You should really do that for a minimum of

three months after launching to really start to understand them.

And they get to know.

I'm not saying don't sell what I'm saying is be of service for a minimum amount of time

before you start the hardcore selling and they will appreciate you for doing that.

5:47 Really they're helping you to help them by

you understanding them, getting to understand the language and then you repeating it back

to them for when it's time for you to sell, to them, many many entrepreneur makes this

mistake.

Don't you make that mistake.

Please don't be hashtag social media hustler.

Step 8.

Become legal.

Set up the legal structure of your business.

The one legal structure that will give you great protection

6:18 and low paperwork to set up in LLC.

Start there, you can always upgrade later if your business needs to move to S-Corp or

Corporation.

Step 9.

Launch your start up.

Launch on Social media and do it via video.

Sending out an email to your network is so 1990's.

Your network is online, and make it easier for them to help you out

6:48 and spread the word.

They can easily share your video or tag their network if you do it on Social Media.

Let's quickly recap the steps: Step 1.

Mindset Toolbox Step 2.

Get to Know you Step 3.

Find your Profitable Biz Idea Step 4.

Who do You serve (ideal client) Step 5.

Creating Your Signature Offer Step 6.

Automate your Service.

7:17 Step 7.

Set up your Social Media Step 8.

Become legal.

Step 9.

Launch your start up If you are still wanting more information

on how to build your start up from scratch.

Find my Dream Business Launcher Program below – there's a link below this video where

you can find out more about it and how it can help you get that dream out of your head

and into the world, where it belongs.

7:49 And you can do it, in as little as 18 weeks.

Tyson Fury responds to offer to fight Anthony Joshua - Duration: 2:08.

The video will start in 8 Cancel Tyson Fury has rejected "a derisrory" offer to fight Anthony Joshua on April 13

Joshua is without an opponent for his next fight, scheduled to be at Wembley, and hopes to lure Fury into an all-British clash

But Fury's promoter Frank Warren dismissed the offer, reported to be a 60/40 split in Joshua's favour

"We've never had that offer, no offer has been sent to me," he told the Daily Telegraph

"Hearn sent Tyson an offer over the weekend but it certainly wasn't 60/40. It was quite a derisrory offer and we haven't even responded to it

"He would need 50/50, as simple as that." Fury is more likely to rematch Deontay Wilder after their controversial draw in December

Their second fight is likely to happen in May or June in Las Vegas, leaving Joshua to face Dillian Whyte at Wembley or Jarrell Miller in New York in the summer

Fury told BT Sport last week: "I've already beaten Wilder so that's one down, and I'll do the same to Joshua if given the chance

"But I don't think it's going to happen, sorry to disappoint the sports fans. "Joshua, even with two hammers in each hand, could never beat Tyson Fury – and they know it! They know that, they're not silly

"It's a business as well, so they're not going to take the fight, simple as. "They may say they're going to take the fight, they might talk about it, but then they'll fight somebody else like they keep doing

"But that fight ain't going to happen. I'm not holding my breath at all."

FOX TV - Georgia Harrison catches the eye in cream jumpsuit at beauty bash - Duration: 5:13.

She recently revealed she's single following her split from former beau Stephen Bear

And Georgia Harrison showed her ex what he's missing as she attended the Shared Beauty Secret's 10th Birthday party at London's Cafe De Paris venue on Monday evening

The Love Island star, 24, proved to be in good company as she fed Ex On The Beach's Nicole Bass strawberries during the glitzy event

Putting on an eye-popping display, the TV personality slipped into a cream denim jumpsuit, featuring a plunging neckline

Share this article Share The reality star upped the style ante as she boosted her frame in a pair of pointed heels and accessorised with a designer chain-strap handbag

Georgia styled her tresses into two braided buns, and accentuated her stunning features with fluttery false lashes, dewy foundation and brown lipgloss

Appearing in high spirits, Georgia flashed a peace sign at the cameras before indulging in sweet treats with her former TOWIE co-star Nicole, 27

Ensuring she didn't let her pal down in the style stakes, the brunette bombshell rocked a slinky black dress, which skimmed at her lean legs

The fashion designer enhanced her height in a pair of perspex heels, and kept accessories to a minimum with a simple clutch handbag

With her tresses styled into loose waves, Nicole's striking visage was complemented with brown-toned make-up

Georgia's display comes after her split from TV personality Stephen. Making reference to her heartache in an Instagram post earlier this week, she wrote: 'Happy new year everyone

'I'm spending this one sober and staying sober until February one thing I've learnt this year guys is to be unapologetically yourself

If someone doesn't love you for who you are or makes you feel like you have to act a different way then they're not meant to be in your world

'Let those ones go and make room to attract people more vibrationaly on your level because trust me you are perfect just the way the universe made you, for all your mistakes, all your weirdness, all your flaws and of course all your beauty (sic)

' News only broke of Georgia and Bear's romance at the end of November, but the pair split just weeks later

The reality star, 28, had got together with Georgia while filming overseas for MTV show The Challenge, but sources have revealed the duo have now called it quits just weeks later - after Bear was accused of 'cheating' on her

According to The Sun, the Celebrity Big Brother winner had 'done the dirty again' and has already moved on from Georgia with model Poppy Gibbs

Speaking of Bear's split from Georgia, insiders told the publication: 'It was over before it even began

He's done "something" to her, but he won't tell her.'Given his history it's pretty safe to assume he's done the dirty again

Bear was hit by 'cheating' claims as reports alleged the star 'invited two women back to his hotel room' in Los Angeles

Georgia appeared to allude to the claims as she posted in a now-deleted tweet: 'A leopard never changes its spots

' But her ex-beau seemed to brush off the accusations, as he hit back via his own Twitter account: 'Landed back in the UK and Living the dream

They say a Leapord doesn't change it's spots . lucky im a Bear (sic).'
