How To Dress Sharp WITHOUT Buying NEW Clothes (Inexpensive Style Improvement Tips) RMRS Style Videos - Duration: 9:12.

Improve Your Style Without Buying New Clothing [0:00:00]

All right, gentlemen.

In today's video, how to upgrade your style without buying any new clothing.

Are you ready?

Let's do it.

[Music] Tip number one to level up your style without

buying more clothing?

Go back in your closet and experiment with the clothing that you already have.

You've got that pink shirt you rarely wear because you're just not so sure, but experiment

with color experiment with different patterns.

You guys know I don't wear gray jackets very often, but when I'm wearing the pink

I'm like I know pink and gray work very well.

I wasn't so sure about this pocket square, I probably could have taken this out, maybe

gone with something that had a little bit of pink in it.

What do you guys think?

It goes together and this was actually a pretty easy match because I had the pink here in

the shirt with the pink matching in the pocket square with a darker pink, then with the blue,

so this right here a pretty and easy combination.

But, guys, you got to build up the courage and you've got to go out there and experiment,

have fun with color have fun with different clothing combinations.

Tip number two to level up your style without buying new clothing, find a fragrance that

you absolutely love the smell of.

So, how do you do that?

Guys, you want to walk in the department stores anytime you're going by a place that sells

fragrances and you want to sample you want to try them on.

What you're looking for is something that is so delicious, something that you like so

much.

When you find something a fragrance that you absolutely love, I'm not talking just a

signature scent, I'm talking about a scent that you can't live without.

All of a sudden, guess what?

Your confidence is going to go up and your whole image in style is going to elevate as

well.

The next tip to level up your style without buying new clothing, keep your clothing in

its place.

So, here's how it plays out.

You wake up, you get dressed, look at yourself in the mirror, you're looking good and you

go to work and by mid day, what's happened?

Your shirt is coming out.

Guys, you've got the muffin top going on up, your clothing is all over the place.

The solution, gentlemen is the shirt stay.

What this does is it connects that bottom of your shirt to the top of your socks and

this keeps your shirt tucked in all day.

Now, the shirt stays featured in today's video, gentlemen, are brought to you by KKandJay,

the paid sponsor of today's video and for over three years I've been testing and using

these products.

I absolutely love them for five reasons.

Number one, it has to do with quality.

So, let me show you something.

Right here, this is the first pair, they just sent me years ago and I still use this.

They still work, then they actually got a patent on it and they made it even better.

Next up, I love the designs.

So, that last one, I mean it was an okay design, but I love how they're bringing in color.

Guys, go to their website, look at all the different styles they've got for you.

Next up, I love the fact that they're innovating.

So, I know a lot of you guys, you don't like to wear socks, you don't have no-show

socks, or you don't want to connect the shirt stay to your sock.

Guys, they've got it so it can actually go around your calf and it's comfortable.

So, if you want to wear, you know, in the summer, you want to keep your shirt tucked

in, but you're not going to wear socks, guess what?

They've got you covered.

Next up, gents, I love that they got great customer service.

I know the founders I've talked to them about stories and KKandJay takes care of their

customers.

And, the fifth reason I love them, gentlemen, affordability.

It's a great product at a great price.

If you haven't been to their website for awhile, go check them out because they've

got new designs they've got new styles and they've got suspenders.

If you use the discount code down in the description, you're going to get the best deal out there

on the internet, guys.

Use it or lose it.

Again, I'm linking to KKandJay down in the description of this video.

Guys, check them out, a great company, I'm proud to support them.

My next tip, ignore style logic, break the rules.

Now, for me, I've got smaller wrist, that says I should go for smaller-sized watches

39 mm, 42 mm maybe at the most.

This watch right here, 52 mm and I absolutely love it.

I wouldn't have expected this to look so good on my wrist unless I had tried it, worn

it a few times, all of a sudden, I absolutely love this watch.

Guys, go out there and try something different.

Break some rules, you may find, okay, it's not for me, but you may find something you

absolutely love.

The next thing for improving your style without buying any new clothing, guys, stand up straight,

roll those shoulders back and stand up properly.

So many of you guys are starting to be hunched over, you're looking at your phone all the

time, guess what?

You are training your neck and the muscles to basically go down.

You want to reverse this.

You want to go to a gym, you want to look for exercises, speak with your trainer that

actually they can work on your back so that actually your shoulders naturally start to

go back.

I know for me, I've actually bought specific types of chairs that help me sit properly

during the day.

I try to get up and walk around maybe for some of you guys actually walking one of those

standing desks.

Find what works for you, but make sure to actually think about this just roll those

shoulders back and stand up straight.

The next step, gentlemen, to level up your style without buying new clothes, knowledge.

Yes you want to invest in your own education.

Tons of options here on YouTube.

Raphael over the Gentleman's Gazette, we've got Aaron over at Alpha M, Jose over at Teaching

Men's Fashion.

And, don't stop there, gentlemen, there's tons of websites with very detailed information.

You've got Brett over at the Art of Manliness, Andy over at Primer Magazine, and my website,

Real Men Real Style where we got over 2,000 articles, we've got over 20 free ebooks,

free app, tons of great resources you can use to become more intelligent when it comes

to men's style.

And, guys, if you've watched all the videos, you've read all the online articles, then

go back to some of the great books.

Anything by Alan Flusser or Bernhard Roetzel is a great place to start.

[0:05:04] The next step to level up your style without

buying any new clothes, gentlemen, find an icon that you can imitate.

And for me, I like to do a little bit of history a little bit of research.

Michael Jackson, maybe you want to go look at Cary Grant, maybe you want to go look at

I don't know F. Scott Fitzgerald, you want to look at Elvis Presley.

Find someone that you're like, I like what this guy wore and he wore this in 1980, he

wore this in 1972, he wore this in 1950 and you know what?

I think I could actually bring this look to now and it would still look great.

Guys, go back look at your men's style history, find an icon that you can imitate.

The next tip to level up your style without buying any new clothes, gentlemen, find your

old pair of favorite shoes and let's go ahead and repair them, let's get them back

to looking new.

So, this pair of boots right here.

Okay, needs new laces, that's an easy fix.

But, if you look at the leather, okay, it's lost a bit of its luster, what can we do here?

Tons of options.

You can possibly just come in and polish it.

I know a lot of you guys do not regularly polish your boots or your shoes.

You want to do this because this is going to protect them, but maybe you need something

a bit more.

Maybe you need to apply some mink oil that can provide a little bit more protection,

although be careful it can actually color them make them a little bit darker, so make

sure you test it on the tongue.

Now, if it's really bad and you're starting to see a little bit of surface damage or maybe

some early signs of cracks, you want to use a rejuvenator.

This is a special type of cream that it's going to deeply penetrate the shoe.

It's not going to be able to repair cracks, but it can prevent them from spreading.

And don't forget the edge dressing, you want to use this on the side of the sole,

it's going to make it nice and dark.

The next step to level up your style without buying new clothes, gentlemen, fit.

I've talked about it before.

It's the first part of my style pyramid.

If it doesn't fit you or it can't be adjusted to fit you, do not buy it.

So, adjusted to fit you, you need to know the name of your tailor.

Take everything that matters anything you're wearing on the outside, we're talking your

coats, we're talking your jackets, we're talking your trousers.

Yes, your jeans you can take to a tailor to get adjusted.

When clothing fits your body, it just looks better.

The next tip to level up your style without buying new clothes, change up your hairstyle.

Okay, so I normally use this hairbrush right here and I go with a side part.

I change it up today just simply comb it in a different way.

Didn't even change up the product, just simply change the way I comb my hair.

But, I could change up the whole look give it a much smoother look if I went with a paddle

brush.

Notice the number of bristles?

They're a lot closer together, it's about a hundred right here or I could go with a

different type of bristle.

All if these changes the different looks that the hair you're going to get when you comb

it.

I also could have change up the product.

I could have gone maybe with a pomade.

Pomade is going to give me a lot of hold, but also a lot of shine.

The product I have in my hair right now has a lot of hold, but has no shine.

Or I could have gone maybe with a wax base product.

Wax base products are going to do a great job holding and they're also going to make

your hair look thicker, they're a little bit harder to wash out though.

The next step to level up your style without buying new clothing, take better care of your

existing clothing.

So, one of the worst things I see that guys do is that they over wash their clothing.

They use very hard detergents and they wash them way too often.

Only wash your clothing when it's dirty and more expensive clothing, I would recommend

that you spot clean and you actually try to wash less.

Now, when you do wash it, wash it on delicate most of the time and do spot cleaning.

Point being, gentlemen, the less you wash your clothing the longer it's going to last

and the better it's going to look.

All right, gentlemen.

So now, I want to hear from you.

fashion mistakes that style rookies make.

I know a lot of you guys are dressing well.

You've been dressing well for awhile, but I bet you're still making some of these

mistakes.

Guys, I'm linking to this video down in the description.

Now, this was not authorized by KKandJay, but I will say to improve your posture, you

want to do band exercises like these and what you're doing is you're working those back

muscles and it's going to start to pull you back.

But, you probably want to invest in some proper bands, but if you're in a pinch, you know

KKandJay makes a great product.

Again, gents, in all seriousness, this is a great product great company, proud to support

them.

Go check them out.

I'm linking to them down in the description.

That's it, gents.

Take care.

I'll see you in the next video.

Skyward Sword + Breath of the Wild Review - The Building Blocks of the Next Zelda - Duration: 20:48.

Skyward Sword has apparently become the most reviled game in the Zelda series.

Although it was extremely well received by critics, it was clear from the outset that

a lot of players were rejecting the game and it failed to sell half as much as Twilight

Princess.

The easy answer is to blame the game's motion controls, but beyond that it wasn't the

game the series needed at the time.

Nintendo knew they had to innovate more after feeling bored by Twilight Princess, but weren't

willing to commit to a full reboot and didn't have the hardware to expand things on a technical

level.

Instead, they chose to arbitrarily rearrange certain parts of the Zelda formula.

One of their biggest experiments was to treat the overworld more like a dungeon; Normally

Zelda connects its areas with a large hub that players will traverse over and over again,

with a few quests and secrets emerging as the player explores.

The landscape visibly changes as you travel and everything is interconnected in a way

that feels like a living dynamic world, even in the ancient N64 games.

Skyward Sword splits its overworld up into three separate areas that don't connect

or transition into one another in any way.

Aside from a glimpse of death mountain on the horizon, these segments could be on a

different planet from one another.

The formula for exploration is that you enter each area from a closed off starting point,

then navigate a path with obstacles and enemies until you loop back around and unlock a shortcut,

which lets you avoid the path you just took forever.

In that sense, the world is disposable; most areas only have meaning as a brief resistance

to your progress.

Once you reach a warp statue, even more of the world is discarded to never be traversed

again.

When the game tries to force you to revisit areas, it doesn't feel natural because the

world was structured around narrow obstacle gauntlets that don't lend themselves to

free exploration well.

Everything feels like a video game level rather than a world.

Even the day and night cycles found in every other 3D Zelda are absent, unnaturally locking

time in place while exploring.

Linear, obstacle filled gameplay works in a dungeon where you've committed to remain

in an enclosed space until fulfilling your goal of defeating the boss- it's a short

burst of more intense gameplay you and get rewarded with items at a regular pace to keep

you motivated.

In the overworld, you don't really know where your goal is, how much more space you'll

have to explore to get there, and there aren't any items to keep you interested as you go

along.

The overworld should serve as a complement to the intensity of dungeons where you can

explore freely and do whatever you want.

Extending dungeon gameplay into the overworld doesn't feel right.

The one area of the game that does allow for open exploration is a total disappointment.

The sky is even more barren than Wind Waker's sea and only has a few islands worth visiting,

and it takes a lot of flapping to get to them.

The bulk of the game's side content is on Skyloft, which has a few majora's mask style

quests but not enough to drive the whole the game in the way that clock town did.

The staff's energy may have been better spent either filling the sky with quests or

on filling Skyloft, instead of attempting both and coming up short.

Normally when a Zelda game releases, the reputation of the previous entry improves.

It's called the "Zelda cycle;" A lot of people criticized Wind Waker at its release,

but after the snoozefest that was Twilight Princess people came to appreciate the amount

of style and character the game had.

Likewise, after Skyward Sword people began to appreciate just how competent Twilight

Princess was as a standard Zelda game.

The same has not happened with Breath of the Wild, which has only made Skyward Sword's

faults more glaring.

It's unbroken overworld is by far the most open and interconnected in the series, with

dynamic weather and temperature systems so detailed that they change with altitude.

Right from the start, there's such a wealth of things to do and see that it's hard not

to get distracted and forget where you were even traveling in the first place.

Zelda stemmed from Miyamoto's childhood exploration of the outdoors, and no game captures

that spirit better than this; An entire gamesworth of content can be had while ignoring the main

quest.

I don't want to say that BotW's approach to exploration is better than Skyward Sword's

in every way, but I struggle to come up with a single way in which it isn't.

The combat is another victory for BotW.

For the record, the idea of swinging a sword around has obvious appeal.

Red Steel 2 executed the concept perfectly before Skyward Sword released.

You had a variety of attacks to perform with various motions that all felt satisfying and

reliable to execute, and the way you used them to engage enemies felt unlike anything

that had been done on a controller before.

It was like a game from the future, with a totally new kind of gameplay that worked well

enough to make an otherwise mediocre game feel like a breakthrough.

Skyward Sword somehow fucked this up.

To make use of 1:1 motion, almost all combat in the game involves directional swings delivered

at just the right time.

Even the pettiest enemies have a directional weakness.

The freedom to move your sword in any way you want was negated by the requirement of

always having to swing in a specific direction.

The Ghirahim fights open up a little and end up being the best examples of motion enabling

something compelling and new to happen; The rest of the time, combat uses motion as a

shallow gimmick.

The hardware itself also wasn't up to the task; the bamboo cutting game is a race to

see how fast you can get your controller to lose calibration.

The sensor bar was needed to cancel drift, which is probably why Red Steel 2 worked so

much better; as a first person shooter, the remote will naturally be pointed at the bar

during gameplay.

A lot of players seemed unaware that Skyward Sword used the bar at all, which may explain

why some people had better experiences than others.

There's been some rumbling about Skyward Sword HD coming to Switch, but the controls

would likely end up being worse without having a sensor bar to recalibrate with or a magnetometer

like the Wii U had.

Breath of the Wild manages to find much more compelling ways to deepen combat while using

a regular controller.

The influence from other modern games can be seen in the new layer of stealth mechanics

and bullet time attacks.

Players can use a wide range of weapons with different advantages and weaknesses, and the

physics based gameplay lets you attack enemies with with the environment or even a piece

of scrap metal.

All of this is far more interesting than directional swinging.

There are hundreds of little improvements that make Breath of the Wild the better game,

but it has major shortcomings of its own.

The rebooted open world gameplay is so successful that it's easy to gloss over the more mediocre

elements, but as the hype wears off those weaknesses become easier to see.

And in the same way that Botw improves on Skyward Sword's weaknesses, Skyward Sword

succeeded where BotW failed.

BotW only has four dungeons; that by itself isn't a problem.

Majora's Mask only had four dungeons, and it's objectively the greatest game ever

made and has Tingle in it.

But Majora's dungeons were the culmination of an entire quarter of the game; as soon

as you enter each area, you begin working through a series of challenges that will lead

you to the entrance of the temple.

Each temple reflects the culture of its area and stands apart from the others with a distinct

atmosphere.

They're further separated by their heavy use of different forms, and halfway through

a new item will be put to creative use to unlock the remaining puzzles.

Like the temples themselves, the bosses are all unique monsters with totally different

designs and fights.

Breath of the Wild's dungeons aren't the culmination of anything; in fact, they equate

to a fraction of the time you'll spend collecting iguanas.

In spite of the game's vast amount of content, they actually seem shorter than usual and

while the lack of items can lead to some interesting flexibility in the puzzles it also leads to

solving things a way that doesn't seem right but that sort of works anyway, which isn't

the most rewarding feeling.

They all share the same sheikah technology aesthetic and aside from their emphasis on

elements like water or fire are basically the same temple.

The player is likely to be bored by this aesthetic before even setting foot inside the first

dungeon because it's also used in the 120 shrines throughout the game.

The biggest sacrifice made while transitioning to a vast open world is that the dungeons

and shrines are a copy and paste job and lack the character Zelda dungeons should have.

Not only did Skyward Sword have more dungeons, but they were far more creative and memorable.

The ancient cistern is based on Akutagawa's short story "The Spider's Thread," in

which the Buddha is strolling along a lotus pond in paradise when he sees a sinner in

the blood pools of hell through the water and casts a spider's thread down for him

to escape with.

The narrative quality and the contrast between paradise and hell make for a dungeon unlike

anything else in the series.

Link uses a time shifting stone to revert a desert back into an ancient ocean and boards

a drifting vessel where time continues to shift between the boat in its glory days and

the ghost ship it's become.

The final dungeon is a gigantic sliding puzzle that has Link rearranging the rooms themselves.

Even the less ambitious dungeons have a distinct character and mood that sets them apart from

the previous dungeons in the series.

The same applies to the bosses.

Ghirahim is fucking nuts and every second he's on screen is the best second of the

game.

Having something that resembles a sword fight with a human enemy is a welcome change of

pace from gigantic monsters, but Skyward Sword does well in the monster department as well.

Koloktos is a haunted Buddhist statue that has to be dismantled piece by piece using

its own gigantic sword.

The boss of the sandship isn't fought in the boss room at all, and instead tears the

ship apart in the lead up to the actual battle.

Echoing one of the most memorable moments in Metroid II, a giant scorpion is uncovered

in the sand of an old mine.

Now that you've seen all of these, here are Breath of the Wild's four bosses- can

you tell which one is which?

Just like the dungeons themselves, the bosses feel like the same basic enemy copied and

pasted with a different elemental twist each time.

The all have the same exploitable eyeball weakness are can be fought with fairly similar

strategies.

Even Ganon himself is an offshoot of this design.

The lack of ingenuity in the temples and bosses is fairly pathetic compared to the designs

in Skyward Sword.

And now I'd like to talk about rain.

Making it a little harder to climb in the rain makes sense.

Making it nearly impossible, even with the full climbing suit, is a terrible choice in

a game based on free exploration.

If you get caught in a storm while climbing a structure you basically have three choices-

give up on all your progress and go do something else, which is unappealing right on the face

of it, set up a campfire if you can, or just stop playing for five to ten minutes.

Absolutely none of this is fun, but at least this happens every now and then.

I appreciate what the game was trying to do with weapon durability- you're always foraging

and procuring supplies from the landscape, and it leads to battles with mops and other

weapons you would never use if you had some unbreakable sword.

But you shouldn't be able to burn through your whole inventory in a single battle.

Swords should only be breaking this fast on the great plateau, when the game is acclimating

you to the mechanics.

The balancing takes the fun out of the weapons; the weak ones are unsatisfying and ineffective

and you can never use powerful ones without feeling like you're wasting them.

Upgrading a weapon in previous games was one of the most rewarding feelings in the series.

In BotW it's like a team of scientists engineered the precise opposite of that feeling in a

lab.

Skyward Sword also had a durability mechanic, but it's easy to forget because it was so

rarely an issue.

Shields only took damage when failing to counter, allowing skilled players to avoid breakage

entirely.

Had Botw done something similar and only doled out damage when swings were blocked, the system

wouldn't have been such a drag on gameplay.

SS also opened up every item in the inventory for upgrades in exchange for collectibles;

I would have liked having a character like this in BotW who could repair your broken

weapons for a price.

That way, you could upgrade and invest in them just like your armor, and you'd still

have chances for foraging in the down times when your sword of choice was broken.

Travel is also a mixed bag.

It's handled better than most open world games I've played thanks to great ideas

like the glider, which is so natural that I find myself trying to use it in past Zeldas.

But there are a lot of areas with no horse access and no good alternatives for fast travel-

by the time you find a sand seal in the desert, you probably could just run to your destination,

and it's there that the stamina meter becomes a major frustration.

Skyward Sword's tight environments matched well with that game's stamina meter and

there were always refills scattered around, but BotW's stamina wheel feels pitifully

outmatched by the scale of the world.

There were a lot of missed opportunities to provide better gear for travel; the stealth

suit allows slightly faster running, but only at night.

The zora armor barely swims faster than default and is only useful for swimming up waterfalls.

Something akin to Majora's zora speed with the full outfit on would have made the suit

extremely useful the whole game.

The story is my final point of comparison and it's an interesting one since the games

share the same basic plot; some form of Ganon is on the verge of causing the extinction

of humanity when Zelda intervenes to seal him away with her powers until the chosen

hero is able to appear decades later just in time for Zelda's seal to fail and for

Link to face and ultimately defeat the threat and spare the remnants of humanity.

In spite of sharing the same premise, the difference in presentation is gigantic.

As someone who has complained about story derailing gameplay before, I can appreciate

that BotW starts off with next to no introduction before turning the player loose.

It's the same kind of laser focus on gameplay that Nintendo had in the 2D era.

But as the game goes on, it's hard not to feel like something is missing.

The Legend of Zelda is just that; a legend, or fairy tale.

It's inevitable that there's going to be some storytelling built in, and I'm not

averse to that if it enhances the gameplay.

It doesn't take much; even the silent Super Metroid had a narrative that boosted the drama

of the ending.

Skyward Sword's introduction didn't need to be as long as it was, but it succeeded

in setting up the characters and their relationships; I cared by the time that Zelda was sucked

down to the surface because the game took the time to forge a connection with her character,

and that connection makes Link's transition into the hero all the more compelling.

Part of the appeal of video games is to escape the complicated stupidity of the real world

and to become an unfailing hero on a simple, righteous mission, because in real life morality

is cloudy and I'd be doing this.

Luckily, Link isn't an alcoholic and we get to experience his transition into the

hero as the real adventure begins, and we see the relationships established in the introduction

develop as the game goes on.

We learn about the main threat both directly and indirectly, making its reveal in the final

fight more interesting.

Ganon has been presented differently in each game; in Ocarina of Time, he was a manipulator

who cheated his way to world domination, while in Wind Waker he was humbled to the point

of being sympathetic.

Demise turns out to be a conquering barbarian so bored of slaughtering humans that he's

intrigued by the thought that Link might actually pose a threat to him.

Once the threat is eliminated Link has to part ways with several characters, and this

is where the payoff of the storytelling is clear to see.

Even if you found Fi irritating in the game, it's hard not feel a sense of sadness watching

her character effectively die.

The conclusion is satisfying thanks to the story, an abridged hero's journey that enhances

the game in a way that feels appropriately matched to the gameplay.

If you were to summarize Breath of the Wild's story, it would be: "Link, fuck around until

Hyrule is saved."

There's not much drama or impact to anything that happens.

The only real plot comes in the form of memories involving characters that are long dead and

that Link can't do much for in the present.

Everyone who was asking for voice acting got their wish with something resembling a bad

anime dub.

The ultimate value of these scenes seems to be to remind the player that Ganon is a bad

guy, but that's already hinted at by the fact that everyone is dead.

The best storytelling is done through the world itself.

You never feel more heroic than when saving a random character from harm, and it's interesting

to piece together what happened on battlefields by observing the aftermath.

But even here, there's only so much that can be done without any real music or story

structure to build on the idea.

Skyward Sword has a moment where an ancient robot is brought into the present by a timeshifting

stone.

Unable to leave the time bubble, he asks Link to travel to his house where the player sees

the rusted remains of his family and images of what his life used to be like.

It's an unexpected and memorable moment made possible by the the structured story

leading up to it and the prominent soundtrack.

Link didn't just aimlessly wander in without context.

In another example from Breath of the Wild, players come across the ruins of Lon Lon ranch.

Anyone who's played oot will feel some kind of impact seeing the familiar landscape in

ruins, but the game doesn't seem to know that.

There's no reaction from the soundtrack, as if it may as well be another random pile

of bricks.

Past games would have memorable themes to give every area a certain character.

Botw only has music like this in the towns, while the world is mostly silent with the

same piano jingles playing no matter your location.

I appreciate that the impressionist soundtrack suits the broken nature of the world and that

it would probably get annoying to hear the same song for 20 minutes while climbing a

mountain, but there are times when the game needs some emotional impact that the detached

score doesn't provide.

The weakness of Botw's storytelling is exposed by the ending.

After preparing for it the entire game, it's incredibly climactic to storm into Hyrule

castle and fight a path to Ganon.

It's one of the highlights of the game, maybe even the whole series.

But it's hard not to be a little disappointed when Ganon turns out to be another robot monster

without any development.

You may as well swap him with one of these guys.

Skyward Sword ended with intense, one on one swordfights with villains that had some actual

character.

Breath of the Wild ends with a giant pig letting you shoot it in a field.

It's a fun spectacle to end the game on, but there's no substance beyond that…

you'd really have to try to get hurt by this thing.

Once Ganon is dead, there's nothing left to work with.

Zelda and Link just kind of stand there and it ends… spoilers.

The time Skyward Sword spends on story pays off by making the gameplay more dramatic and

delivering a satisfying conclusion.

Botw's approach is fine if you take it as an extremely simple story of a good guy killing

a bad guy, but in that case you don't need all these scenes, and I don't think I'd

have missed much if I skipped most of them.

The Zelda staff has a history of taking fan feedback to heart, often to the point of overcorrecting.

And BotW may have been another overcorrection; like Ocarina of Time, it founded an all new

way of playing Zelda, but unlike oot the content on top of that foundation isn't particularly

strong when you really examine it.

It's the kind of game that leaves so much room for improvement that it could be rendered

obsolete by a good sequel, and for me that means bringing back more of the old Zelda

magic.

And Skyward Sword just happens to have the kind of content BotW was sorely lacking.

So if the Zelda staff is still listening, it would be a good idea not to make SS seem

so toxic that they avoid touching it at all costs.

And it would be good not to give Botw's shortcomings a free pass in light of all the

great things it accomplished.

I give Skyward Sword 7 twerking Tingles.

It's heart is in the right place and it has some great moments, but it was a transitional

title where Nintendo still hadn't figured out what the series needed yet.

Botw gets 8 durians out of mask salesman.

It has the best core gameplay in the series, but needed more time to sort out everything

else.

Here's hoping the sequel achieves just that.

Crochet Small To Go Bag - Duration: 20:14.

Welcome back to The Crochet Crowd as well as my friends over yarnspirations.com. I'm your host Mikey.

Today we're going to work on this little lunch bag, and it requires you to have four sets of grommets.

So we have grommets we have 1, 2, 3 and 4.

We need a 5 mm, size 'H' crochet hook and it's recommending a Lilly Sugar'n Cream which is 100% cotton.

You can also use 100% cotton which is Bernat Handicrafter as well.

This is very, very simple as just a one page pattern and we just need to concentrate on making the panels.

So let's talk about that next. So we need to make a total of three panels. We have the front side,

we have the back which is the same as

far as like making sure you do the stitch work and then this piece here just comes down

and across and then back up. So that's a one piece unit.

Then we have to make two handles that are tied and put through the grommets on the other side.

So let me show you what this particular

sample looks like as far as like the flat space and then we're gonna make two of those here on camera.

So here's the main panel and what we're going to do is just back and forth single crochet all the way up and you're

gonna get to 11 inches and this is where this one stops.

The 11 inch mark is where we're gonna apply the,

the holes that we can put the grommets in and then we just finished off a couple rows

afterwards and then it's completely done.

So all I just need to do is get you started here with single crochets and the side gusset

is the same kind of way.

It's just a matter just go doing a bit and then just going back and forth with single crochet.

So let's grab our crochet hook 5 mm, size 'H' with your Lilly Sugar'n Cream.

So let's begin doing the main panel. So the front and the back are both alike.

So you're just gonna make a slipknot and you're going to put that onto your crochet hook and I need you to chain

a total of 27. So 1, 2, 3,

4 and 5 and go all the way to 27 for me and meet me back here in just a moment.

So once you have total of 27 done, of course mine isn't 27. Mine's just a sample

you're gonna go second chain from the hook,

so just 1 and 2,

turn it over and get the back loop of the chain

and I want you to single crochet in the back loop of every one of the chains going across.

Of course, it's a chain. So it always takes a little bit longer

but once you get this pattern started it gets a lot easier.

So just single crochet yourself all the way back across your chain and meet me back here in just a moment.

Once you get to the end of the chain just turn your work and

chain up one and do one single crochet in the same one and

then just do one single crochet in each stitch going all the way across.

That's all this is. So what you need to do is you need to go back and forth to get to 11 inches tall.

What I would highly recommend is that when you do this and before you do the grommets area

I would do both of the panels to 11 inches tall and

uh, it actually will make sure that you get the right stitch count as far as like the row, the rows.

Sometimes when you measure it can be different, right?

So you turn your work, chain one and just single crochet yourself all the way up.

So, please go to 11 inches for me and then meet me back here in just a moment. So here we are.

We got 11 inches tall. So this is the actual sample.

So 11 inches is where it marks and we're gonna be making those spaces for the grommets.

So what we're going to do is that it's just really simple in order to get these to line up properly to each other.

So what we're going to do at this point is that we are going to chain one and

start. So we're just gonna do the first six. So 1 and

this is single crochet for 2,

3,

4,

5 and

6. Now the next one is where the grommet's going to be. So chain one,

skip that one and single crochet the second one over and that will create a little micro hole that you have.

So what I need you to do is just continue to

single crochet yourself across and on the seventh one just before the end. I

want you to place in the other space to do the grommet work later in this particular tutorial.

So when you get closer just count it back so we have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, that is just a fluke.

Okay, if that's just a fluke, so now chain one, skip that one and single crochet one after it.

So now you have the micro hole so this one plus it's five more it gives you six. So let's just say this is 2,

3,

4,

5 and

6 and now what I need you to do is working two rows. So turning our work

we're gonna do two rows only and then that's done.

So chain up one and do one single crochet in each one of the stitches going all the way across and

in the chain one space I want you to fill it in with the double, with a single crochet as well.

Which I'll be there in just a moment.

Okay, so here it is

so what I want you to do is go right into the space and single crochet and

then continue on the one after that and what I need you to do is do it with the same with the other one and then

just go across one more time with just single crochet and then fasten off and you're good to go.

So you have to make sure you get two of these done. So I'm now coming to the conclusion of the panel

so you have to make sure you make two of these and

it's good to go and

what we're going to do at this point is that we're just gonna fasten off and we'll leave an extra long tail and we'll

deal with those tails later.

So what I'm going to move on now is to do the gusset area and the gusset is what separates the two panels.

That's what's riding in the middle.

Let me just review again how I did it and then you can do that as well if you prefer and you'll have the perfect

length. So we have two panels

and what I have to do is that I have to put the grommets in the other one so I can do that afterward.

I did a separate tutorial on how to do this and I'm looking at the inside of the grommets.

So this is kinda what the outside looks like that people will see.

So what you have to do now is a gusset. Now

the gusset is chaining of 12 and then single crochet second chain from the hook.

So there's a total 11 single crochets and

now it gives a dimension that you can work towards as far as 33 inches, but sometimes our tension is different.

So what I decided to do is that I started going along and I got pretty close to the end

where it was gonna go down one side and I marked it.

I just laid it down and realized that that the heights match and I put a stitch marker into that spot.

Then I continued along the base

just like you see just no stretching at all

and I laid it out and realized there's the other corner of the base and

then what I just did then is that I worked it all the way to the top and had it marked.

So therefore this gusset actually matches this project. So even if it wasn't 33 inches then the fact is that it will match.

So what I want you to do now is that I want you to do your gusset.

If you want to go for the 33 inches, that's up to you

so a chain on, uh, chain on

12 second, uh,

single crochets second chain from hook.

Just keep on going back and forth and create this and when I come back then we're going to attach our gusset

to the main body. Okay,

so we're gonna attach our gusset to the main, one body and then we're gonna do the same with the other side.

So the attaching actually appears on the outside.

So when you look at it from this perspective

if you've got your grommets in the good side is obvious when it faces out the other side see that it's different?

So what you wanna do is that when you go to attach these you wanna do it in a way that the seam

line will be on the outside of the bag.

So if this is the good side that you see this is the way that you should fold it.

Now because you did single crochet all the way across

just like you see here what's gonna happen is that they're gonna match up to the gusset.

So you're just gonna take your yarn any color that you wish and

you're just going to start off on the one side of the gusset.

Going in and go across

and just attach with a slip stitch.

Okay chain one and then just in the same one just single crochet just to get started.

You're going to advance down one row on

the front which will match to the back of the second one and just

single crochet right over it and you're attaching these together as you're single crocheting.

So no sewing is involved and it gives you a neat looking edge.

So what we're gonna do is that we're gonna do this all the way down and then at the base you're gonna

put in three single crochets and then go across and then at the corner three single crochets and come back up and then you're going

to finish that off turn it over and do the other side and attach the other

piece so that you have your forming of your bag.

So what I've done now is that I've attached one side completely

just like you see I still have to weave in my ends

and then what I have then is that I've attached the second one now using with the stitch markers again

just to make sure that it lines up and now I'm gonna work my way across and

continue to to single crochet them together.

Okay, so I'm just attaching the second piece and I have my yarn strand left over.

Let's review on how to hide in your loose ends. So you're just gonna use a tapestry needle and put your

yarn into it. And what you want to do is that you wanna stay toward the inside of the bag.

So just and just kind of fold it in a way that makes sense and coming down into the fibers

but stay on this side, the inside of the bag and coming down and

pull through when you pull don't warp anything.

So don't make sure that you pull this over the point that it's gonna stretch it in a different way.

Go back in the other direction. This is number two

just stay within the fibers on this side and then continue one more time coming back in the other direction a third time.

You're gonna do that with all of your loose ends back and forth three times

to weave them in. When we come back then we'll start the handles. Okay, so now it's time to do the handles.

So the handles are a total of 16 inches long. You need a total of two of those, one

I have to finish off. So all this is is the round tubular of five stitches going around in a continuous circle.

So there's no slip stitching involved.

Now the photograph shows that the knot is on the outside of the bag.

So it comes from the other side and forces its way through. So you have to decide what you like better.

Would you prefer the knot be on the inside of the bag or would you like it on the outside of the bag like it

shows. You have to make that choice. I'm thinking for myself,

I'm just kinda not being very creative, but I'm actually thinking of keeping it to the inside.

So when I'm ready, all I'm just gonna do is stick my, put my grommets on and then just pull this through and

then just create a knot so don't waste too much of it, create a knot and

then you'll just be able to attach it.

You might be able to push it through too, yeah,

you can.

So you just have to create a knot and make sure that when you go to create the knot you wanna make them both

equal. So probably do them back at the same time.

So let's get you started to show you how to make these and then what, so you'll just have to actually just create a knot,

knot and that will prevent it from falling out. So let's set continue to go along now and make a handle.

So to make a handle I made one that was 16 inches and then I used that as the template for the second one.

So all you just need to do is chain a total of five. So 1, 2,

3, 4 and 5 and simply just go to the very first one and attach it with a slip stitch.

So what I want you to do we're gonna go in a continuous circle. So just chain one and

starting in the first stitch. Let's just count these out so 1,

and go right up over top of that straggler. Let's get rid of that and we're gonna go 2

and 3,

4 and 5

is your last one. So in the fifth one what I want to do

is that when I start the next one, I wanna make sure that it's the fifth month in the hook.

So we'll see count 1,

2, 3, 4, 5. So that's the first one. So the first one there is where I wanna start.

So I'm just gonna single crochet first just to get started and then I'm gonna pop it out the middle

so that it's towards me because it's just easier. So you come to the next stitch available to you and single crochet.

I found myself go easy on the tension here.

If you make it too tight

it's harder to see the stitches and it's harder to get your hook in so keep it nice and loose and

I want you to just continue to circle and circle and circle until you get 16 inches

and then you're going to fasten off at that point.

Every once in a while, I want you to just double check. It's gonna be a continuous tube and it's going to, um,

look consistent. So if it's growing or it's subtracting, you know that you're missing or adding a stitch.

So I've been going right up over top of that straggler. So let me get rid of that and show you something else.

So when you go to check once in a while you wanna make sure that you have five. So you have 1,

let's count this out.

So we have 1, 2

3, 4 and

5 is the next one that I have to go into so you just wanna continually check

once in a while to make sure that you continuously have five.

So you're just gonna work your way in a continuous circle until you get to the length that you want and then I'll see

you there in just a moment.

I've already done it so I don't need to do any more than this, but you just have to keep circling.

It doesn't take long at all and you'll notice that it's gonna grow by the inches right before your very eyes.

So once you get your first one done just measure, make sure that it is 16 inches and then just have your last loop pull It through.

Then take your ending you wanna get rid of it completely so you don't want any evidence of it and just get,

put it onto a tapestry needle and just kinda go into the project

and get rid of it.

So just keep going in and out and it gets it locked into position more and more the more times you go in and out.

So what I would do is do the first one and then use this one as the template for the second one. So that just hold

it up together.

Just make sure that they're both kinda stretched the same kinda way if you, if you are gonna stretch it at all

just to make sure that they're pretty equal.

Then cut and you're done. So do the second one.

So now

what we have to do is that we have to go back and we have to make sure we put the grommets in. So I'm

gonna put you to that tutorial now.

I've already done it and then I've gotta go into the studio put my grommets in and

all you just need to do then is that once you get your grommets in you just want to

tie a knot,

okay, so stay really close to the edge.

Stay really close so when you go to pull this you don't wanna pull too much in the, in the height going up the

stay towards the outside.

There you go.

See and therefore you have a knot and it will never fall out on you

and so you're just gonna do the same to the other side.

Kinda pull it the same kinda distance kinda compare the two

and therefore they're good to go so then your handles are all set.

So that's it for now.

Please do your grommets and your handle and then you're good to go to enjoy your new bag to go.

We'll see you again real soon. Bye. Bye 👋

Welcome back to The Crochet Crowd. I'm your host Mikey. Today I'm going to show you how to place grommets inside your crochet project.

Never done this before and I'm doing a lunch bag where this is required to hold in the handles into the project.

What we have here is a combination of things.

So here is a package of grommets

and when you buy these sometimes they provide the punch and other times they don't. You need the punch

so if that's being sold separately like I picked it up then you'll have to buy that separately on its own and then you just

buy the grommets. Now if you go to JOANN Fabrics and Crafts

usually they have a kit that everything is included for the first time you do it and then you can buy

replacement grommets just like you see. So there are two types of

grommets uh, materials in there. You'll notice one that has a lip that is facing up

just like you see and the other one is more flat.

Okay, this lip one is the good side.

So whenever you're looking at the project

you should be looking at it from this point of view when you're looking at the good side of the project and the other one

being so flat should be the back side of the project.

So without further ado, let's take a crochet project and let's show you an example.

To do any kind of grommet work

you're going to need a hard surface other than a table or something that you don't wanna ruin.

So you'll notice that this is the bottom of the punch. There's a flat side to it

just like you see and then there's a side that has a cupping that you see. So the cupping side should face up

and what you're going to do is the one with the bigger lip is the one that will sit down on top of the cup.

Just like you see and what you're going to do is insert your project over that and then you're going to take the other smaller

one and place it over top and then take the punch itself and then just go down and just give it some light taps with

the hammer. On the top side of this lunch bag

I skipped one stitch and I chained one and I have a little hole.

Now your grommet should be able to fit inside that little hole when you have and there's two of them

and because there's two sides there's gonna be a total of four grommets.

So what I have to do is determine what side is the good side of the project.

I've determined that this side is the side that I wanna see. Therefore

this one here with the lip on it should be the one that is on that side and the other piece should be on the

inside of the bag.

So what I'm going to do is force that one through the hole

so there's a chain one space hole

and just move around the stitches so that you can get it to fit and you will see that it will fit just like there.

Now you're going to take the punch and lay it down on top of the board and you're going to carefully place that down

so that it's inside the punch. You're now gonna grab the other one.

Now the other one has a lip just like you see it should be like a bowl shape.

So the bottom of it really should be facing down. So it's like a bowl.

Okay, and you're going to place that right up over top of the other piece just like you see.

So now what you're going to do is that you are going to take your punch

and put it right on top. So keeping everything nice and firm and now grabbing your hammer you want to tap down on top.

And what I tried to determine was whether it's stuck or not.

and what I have here is that I can see that it's gone down a little bit

but I still have to tap it in a little bit more

and then I'm gonna retest it and

I'm gonna check it and just to make sure

that the interior piece has come through this smaller ring. If you're not sure yet

just keep on tapping until you feel that it's secure.

Once you think you tapped it enough you'll be able to see that the upper lip went over top of the other ring therefore

it's good to go. So all you can just do now is switch to the other one.

So in this case, there's two of them. So again, my good side is the one I want facing out.

So I'm just gonna ply it, apply it

to the chain one space and I just have to move around the fibers in order to do that.

So just get it to go around

and once I can see the ring is exposed all the way through I'm going to again place it down on top of the punch.

Then taking the other one again see the bowl shape itself. You wanna face that down

and then taking your punch,

put your punch on top and then take your hammer and hammer it down.

I'm gonna pick it up and just check it and see if that actually took and if I'm not happy with it I can just

apply it again.

And therefore I have two grommets inside my work for my lunch bag.

Sushi Omakase in Bangkok - TUNA BELLY Japanese Food at Umi Gaysorn in Thailand! - Duration: 18:10.

- Hey everyone, I hope you're having an amazing day.

It's Mark Wiens, I'm in Bangkok, Thailand

and I think Bangkok is one of the best cities

outside of Japan for Japanese food.

And so today for lunch,

I was invited to a restaurant called Umi,

which is one of the best Omakase Japanese sushi restaurants

known for very seasonal fish and ingredients.

Today they got a big chunk of fish,

a special chunk of fish which comes from a giant maguro,

so that's the special event.

The restaurant is at Gaysorn Plaza.

I just got here.

I'm very excited for sushi today for lunch.

(smooth techno music)

You ready to eat some sushi, Ying?

- Yes! (laughs)

- We just arrived to Gaysorn Plaza.

(smooth techno music)

Ying, What floor are we on?

- The first floor.

- Okay, oh yeah, first floor.

It was kinda tricky to find it.

First floor, Gaysorn Plaza,

and then you come all the way to the back corner

and it's kind of just like a little hidden door,

but very beautiful Japanese...

And yeah, just kinda hidden back here.

So this is the spot, it's called Umi.

We are just in time for lunch.

(soft upbeat music)

(speaking in foreign language)

The fish just came in today

and it's gonna be a lot of tuna today

and they were just explaining to me about the whole tuna.

How the tuna is caught, it comes directly from Japan

from a very well-known supplier.

(smooth upbeat music)

Okay, first opening course, little fish on top,

and then there's a vegetable on the bottom there.

Mm, and it tastes like vinegar, slightly sour,

and with that very crunchy fish, that's awesome.

Oh this one is the skipjack tuna?

Skipjack tuna, which is just slightly marinated,

beautiful and even the spring onion

and the ginger is from Japan, beautiful.

Yeah, and just that tiny little dab of green onion,

but it comes, you taste it so vibrantly,

and that fish just, it's so smooth.

Okay, next is Kawahagi, this is leather fish.

And you can just see how fine the detail is.

There's just a tiny, tiny...

These are Japanese spring onions on top

with maybe some sesame seeds

and then there's like a little jelly on the bottom as well.

All the sesame seeds

and then like wrapped up in this jelly sauce.

Mm, the sesame seeds and spring onions

really come in nicely.

- [Man] Cheek bone of the fish, cheek meat and the tuna.

- [Mark] Oh wow, and it's cured?

- Um yes, we age them actually, we aged them

for about six days.

- [Mark] Wow, that one is beautiful, the marbling.

It's an aged blue fin tuna,

and just beautiful fatty marbling.

(slow relaxing music)

That's amazing.

Is that a radish sauce on top?

Yeah, just this light radish relish almost.

It's so fatty and juicy.

(soft upbeat music)

This one is abalone?

- [Man] Yeah.

- Abalone with, what type of sauce is it?

- [Man] Just the liver sauce. (coughs)

- Oh that's the liver sauce?

The abalone with liver sauce. - Right.

- Okay, awesome.

Abalone in it's own liver sauce.

The liver almost looks like mustard.

Like it's got that slight yellowy color to it.

- [Man] That sauce, that sauce.

Sauce okay.

- That's awesome.

That liver sauce really rich and almost kinda sticky.

And then with that abalone is sweet and almost spongy.

You wanna wipe up all of that liver sauce.

(speaking in Thai)

(Ying laughing loudly)

We all wanted a little bit of rice

to finish off all that liver sauce.

(slow upbeat music)

Stunning.

(slow upbeat music)

- [Man] Komakata, it's a monkfish liver.

- [Mark] Monkfish liver.

Oh it's seasonal, okay.

How is it?

- You need to try it by yourself.

(everyone laughing)

It's the best thing.

- [Mark] Is this a winter fish?

- Right, just winter.

- [Mark] And they all tried it, they said it's amazing.

Yeah, it looks beautiful with a little dab of wasabi on top.

(slow upbeat music)

Wow, yeah. (speaking Thai)

It's so creamy.

Is that like a little bit of yuzu?

- [Man] Yeah.

- Or the citrus?

Slightly taste the yuzu in the wasabi.

Wonderfully creamy and custardy.

(speaking in foreign language)

Okay, next dish that we're having

is called Shirako, which is cod sperm.

And I remember the first time I tried this in Japan

I actually didn't know, didn't know I was trying it

until I posted it and then somebody mentioned that,

but it's really good.

Again, this you can smell the...

You can see the little fish on top.

And yeah, it's a popular winter dish item.

At first you think it's really creamy, really rich,

but then it sort of like dissolves in your mouth.

It's awesomely good.

How big was that fish?

- This one is about 180 kg. - [Mark] 180 kg?

- This one is from Big Maya,

it's like the area between Hokkaido and the Mainland.

- [Man] This is the meat. - [Mark] Ah, okay.

- [Man] So basically we gotta try this one.

We gotta try the one with the age for like seven days.

- [Mark] Oh, that's the...

(bouncy techno music)

Just unwrapped the chunk of tuna.

That is beautiful, you can just see the layers

and the different grids and the belly part

have it goes from dark to lighter color.

But what's awesome is that it's just us eating here today.

So we can film and make a video.

And yeah, just have fun as you're eating.

But, okay now we're getting to the serious tuna.

What is that part?

- [Chef] It's the black part.

- [Mark] Oh, thank you!

- [Man] You need to understand, this part right here.

- [Mark] 3D, wow.

- [Man] Whoa (grunts).

- [Mark] That's the chunk comes from that front belly part.

- [Man] So basically this is...

What ever is here, it's right at the bone.

So the black, you take it out.

- [Mark] So that's from that section.

This section right here.

- [Man] Yeah, this section is this.

- [Mark] You see the chunks of fish

but you're not sure exactly where they come from.

So that's awesome that we have a 3D Tuna Model.

And so the second that he's cutting up right now

which is, that's where you get

a lot of the main pieces

comes from the front belly bottom section.

Very cool!

(upbeat music)

- [Mark] So that one is the Akami?

- [Man] Yeah.

- [Mark] And then chutoro? - [Man] Chutoro.

This part is between chutoro and otoro?

- [Mark] That fish looks beautiful, and this is Umi.

They're explaining me all they use is wild caught tuna.

It's all wild tuna, it's all local Japanese tuna as well.

Had a sushi omakase before

where it's the course, piece by piece,

but never one with this amount

and variety of part of tuna.

So this is a really special experience.

Again, slicing up a different tuna,

and it comes from two different fish,

so you can see the marbling and the different sections

which looks different from each other

because of two different fish.

Some of them are going in marinades,

others are gonna be left as is.

And he's just preparing all the ingredients

and the fish to start making the sushi.

(upbeat music)

First bite of sushi.

Mm, good wasabi in there.

Fish is just perfectly like warm room temperature.

The whole some of it together, yeah that's awesome.

Okay, next one is from a fish called Buri.

And this is the belly part, and you can just see it close

even in your finger you can just feel how soft it is.

(soft relaxing music)

Mm, yeah, that one is awesome.

- [Ying] (speaking in Thai)

- [Mark] It's extremely soft,

but then it has this almost snap to it when you bite down.

All right, this one is horse mackerel.

(upbeat music)

Again, topped with those spring onions.

Oh, that complements it so well.

Okay, it's time to start on the tuna.

(upbeat music)

- [Mark] This one is chutoro, and you can just look

at the vibrancy of that color.

And that's because it's from the very very fresh fish,

which was just newly arrived to the restaurant.

That's the fish he just caught up.

Like even, you can see that gradient on it.

(upbeat music)

Wow!

Oh, that is spectacular!

Literally just melting in your mouth.

You barely need to chew.

And that's just full of flavor.

- [Mark] Shimofuri? - [Man] Yes.

- [Mark] Oh, I didn't even know that one.

Okay, this one is shimofuri which is between

the medium fatty and the very fatty belly.

So it's that stage in between,

and you can just see it glistening.

You could see that the fat strands just weaved through it.

(upbeat music)

Wow, the quality.

Just the texture.

- [Man] (coughs) Aged them for seven days.

- [Mark] Oh this one akami, aged for seven days?

- [Man] Yeah.

- [Mark] Okay, this is that 200?

- [Man] Yeah, 260 kg.

- Akami tuna, the red part of the tuna,

which has been aged for seven days.

Mm, was fatty content but very rich,

still very a deep up flavor.

Again, it's the one between the otoro and the chutoro.

So kind of the fattier, medium fatty tuna.

And then this one is aged for seven days.

Because we had the fresh one of that same fatty content.

This one is different.

It has developed more rich and more juiciness.

Sweeter.

They're both good, just different.

(upbeat bouncy music)

(chuckles)

- [Mark] (speaking in Thai)

Okay, on to the Uni, sea urchin.

Mm, it's so sweet.

It is melted ice cream, so sweet and so silky.

- [Man] This one is very special casing.

- [Mark] Mm, okay.

- [Man] Wow. (soft voice)

(everybody laughs loudly)

- [Mark] (speaks in foreign language)

So what type of urchin is it?

- [Man] These are buffalo.

- [Mark] He just opened up a box filled with uni.

It's a very special type of uni.

It's just blooming.

(upbeat music)

Next up is a little rice bowl with the uni.

He put on wasabi and then some salmon eggs

I believe salmon eggs on top.

You can literally see the uni just starting to melt,

like custardy melting nest on top of that rice.

Mm, that uni is just dissolving

and then has just like a hint of a bitterness

which increases the flavor

and liquefies in your mouth, on your tongue.

Ying, can you hold my bowl?

(giggles)

Thank you.

(upbeat music)

Okay, this one is anago sea water eel.

That zing of the citrus, the sauce,

just the melt in your mouth fish.

And like fleshy, mm.

(upbeat music)

(everyone speaking on foreign language)

- First he put in rice then

he puts in a whole layer of wasabi,

and then like a little handful of minced tuna

of variety of parts of tuna, just chopped up minced.

Oh, this is one of my favorite things.

Yeah!

That is outstanding.

The crisp seaweed, the rice,

just the melt in your mouth minced tuna

and then just the balanced of wasabi.

(upbeat music)

And this is the tamago, the final course.

This is the egg, sweet egg.

This one very spongy, you can feel the moistness of it.

Mm, really nice, has that sponginess

but at the same time it sort of melts down in your mouth.

And that wraps up just an incredible,

incredible sushi omakase experience.

Okay, the tamago is not the ending course

there's some fruit Japanese grapes.

(speaking in foreign language)

(everyone laughing)

It's so juicy, so plumped and just...

All right, we just made it back home

after an amazing lunch.

And what was so cool about that experience, oh okay...

For one thing they weren't actually open

so it was just us kinda sampling sushi and just having fun.

But it was such an education.

I've had omakase sushi before,

a set menu where the chef gives you piece by piece.

But this was really fully based on tuna.

So it was really a tuna experience, a tuna education.

And so Kunat and Kunshin, they really know

a lot about fish, a lot about sushi.

So just having them and the chef was awesome as well.

But then having them explained every piece, where it's from,

being able to really taste for myself

the difference between an ultra fresh piece of tuna

and then aged intentionally piece of tuna.

And then mere different marinades,

but also then just no marinade,

and then just having them all consecutively

that was very cool.

That was an amazing tuna sushi

omakase experience in Bangkok.

I wanna say a huge thank you

to Kunat, Kunshin and Kun Eis for inviting me for lunch.

S. Korean gov't to fully support next N. Korea-U.S. summit - Duration: 0:50.

South Korea's National Security Council standing committee held a meeting this afternoon.

During the session, they said good results came out of last Friday's Pyeongyang-Washington

high-level talks.

According to the top office, during the meeting, chaired by President Moon's top security advisor

Chung Eui-yong, the NSC standing committee decided to actively support the second Kim-Trump

summit scheduled for late February... so that it produces substantial results for the complete

denuclearization of the Peninsula and permanent peace.

To that end, the committee said Seoul will maintain close cooperation with the U.S. and

continue inter-Korean dialogue.

Expressing serious concerns over Japan's recent threatening low-altitude fly-bys of South

Korean warships, the standing committee members decided to sternly respond to prevent a repeat

of such provocations.

Higuain straight in as eighth highest earner in the Premier League - Duration: 2:36.

Gonzalo Higuain has crashed the Premier League's top earners after finally joining Chelsea on loan until the end of the season

The Argentina star, who cut his spell at AC Milan short to move to Stamford Bridge, will earn a whopping £270,000 a week with the Blues

That figure is enough to see him move into the top 10 earners in England's top-flight, ahead of the likes of Romelu Lukaku and Sergio Aguero

   PREMIER LEAGUE TOP 10 EARNERS  1. Alexis Sanchez - £500,0002. Mesut Ozil - £350,0003=

Raheem Sterling - £300,0003=. Harry Kane - £300,0005=. Paul Pogba - £290,0005=. N'Golo Kante - £290,0007

Kevin De Bruyne - £280,0008. Gonzalo Higuain - £270,0009=. Romelu Lukaku - £220,0009=

Sergio Aguero - £220,000 Higuain sits eighth on the list after agreeing terms to match what he was earning during his loan stint at the San Siro during the first half of the season

However, his wages are double what he would be taking home if he was spending the season at parent club Juventus

Higuain earns £50,000 a week more than fellow strikers Lukaku and Aguero, who pocket £220,000 a week at Manchester United and Manchester City respectively

Chelsea's newest recruit is just below City star Kevin De Bruyne in the money table after the club rewarded the Belgian for his fine form with a new contract worth £280,000 a week last January

Paul Pogba and N'Golo are the joint fifth highest earners in the division on £290,000 a week after the Chelsea midfielder committed his future to the club with an improved deal in late November

 More to follow.

It's Okay! I Don't Think I'm Dead - Duration: 0:52.

Hi, itÕs still New YearÕs Eve, I didnÕt want to leave things on that last note.

The truth is I really am in a better place right now.

I really am optimistic about the future.

I just had a little slip.

Happens to the best of us.

IÕm not suggesting IÕm the best.

Of anyone.

Just myself.

I amÉmy best self.

Not better than anyone else.

Well maybe not.

IÕm better than Hitler.

I can say that, right?

Anyway, I didnÕt want you thinking I was in a bad spot.

IÕm over it, IÕm feeling better about the future, I donÕt think IÕm dead, even though

I didnÕt hear from anyone confirming it.

ItÕs fine.

Even Einstein says thatÕs impossible.

Can the NEW Emote Dodge Bullets? Will the Laser Sight Reveal Your Position? PUBG Mobile MythBusters - Duration: 10:54.

In today's video we're going to analyze the following myths. Can the new emote

dodge bullets? Can your enemies see the laser from the laser sight? Can you do a

super punch but with a melee weapon? only here in PUBG Mobile MythBusters

Coucou everyone welcome back (host is GV) and I hope your'e having an amazing day. Since the last

video received a lot of support you know there's going to be more and more

Mythbusters and of course I don't want to forget but thank you so much PUBG

Mobile for the amazing shout out Really means the world to me and of

course thank you so much everyone for your support this was only possible

thanks to you. But we have a lot of work to do so let's go right into it

You posted a lot of theories and myths that I want to analyze and the first one

comes from a lot of people

So Remy 131 wants to know you cannot shoot your enemy

if he or she uses an Emote. Really interesting myth in my opinion but first

we want to understand how the new emote works so this really cool emote that you

can get with the Royale Pass maybe you didn't know this but it comes with

different phrases for example the female

now the male

Second phrase from the girl

and same for the guy

yeah... his voice is...

special. I think we can describe it like that. Anyways and moving on let me show

you how accurate is a four times so if you pay close attention you can see that

the bullet lands exactly at this point. Yes that's the purpose of the scope

placing the bullet where you see the red spot and of course aim-assist

is turn off. Now that everything is clear we can start with the experiments. First

of all i want to show you the limit of the hitbox let's try here first

No, your weapon is not part of the hitbox unless is really close to the body. We already

know this, middle of the legs is going to hit you so now that you have a reference

let's try doing this but with the emote Mission here is to find if the hitbox

follows the character after activating the Emote and to see if it changes or not

Really good news from the start yes the hitbox will follow the character with the Emote

which is something that is expected to happen. Now let's try to see how close

we can get

At this point you can damage your enemies. Let's try with the legs now

and there you go here's the hit point

Let's try this again and there you go. So let me know down

below what you think. Do you think the hitbox is a little bit too wide and it

should be reduced or do you think it's okay maybe you like it this way

so we're going to do this one more time but with the male character just to make

sure I answer as many questions as possible. Maybe here next to the hand is safe

Now with the Emote. Everything is good so far

until you get too close. Now it's time to try with the legs

Finally let's try to get really close to the head

I think it's pretty clear at this point but wait there's more because I'm really

curious and I want to know until which distance you will no longer hear the Emote

So for example let's try these 10m away

okay so you can hear it

really clear now let's try 20 meters Surprise surprise you cannot see and you

cannot listen to the emote at this distance now we only need to find a

middle point so I'm going to try with 15 meters

Ohhh did you hear that I am not editing the sound this is how its recorded from

the game listen carefully and don't worry I'm not going to scare you this is

a server Christian channel we don't do that kind of things here pay close attention

here it comes...

It's fine it's a joke CHILL. Jokes here's the original

audio and as you can see 15 meters is pretty much the limit

We have our answer we are going to approve this one and NO you

cannot hear your enemy if they use the Emote and that's because the hitbox

follow the character as it was expected Next myth. This one also comes from a lot

of people and typical Asian says enemies can see your laser beam especially at Sanhok

that means you will expose yourself

This one is really easy to test Silvie here is going to be helping us and you probably

won't believe this or maybe you do if you know the answer

but she's using a laser sight right now on her weapon. Now if you don't know that

laser sight pretty much goes here I will even say that you cannot see the

laser sight or is it just me? But NO your enemies won't see the laser coming

from the laser sight. Well thought there from the developers the laser sight won't

reveal your position but if you like it go for it I'm still trying it but let

me know what you think down below. We have our answer and we're going to BUST

this one no your enemies cannot see the laser from the laser sight so it's pretty

safe to use it if you like it. Myth next Wait what???

The next one comes from Nirmal Raj

and he/she says a super jump does more damage. Now that is something a lot

of people know so let me include another similar myth for free and Noctis says

you can do more damage with a melee weapon if you jump. A super punch is when

you jump and punch and he wants to move this is possible with a melee weapon

and that's actually really interesting so let's try the experiment and compare

the damage. Here you can see a regular punch without a vest now it's my turn

and we're gonna do the same but with a pan it's again my turn and pretty much

the same I know I'm a scientist and I'm not supposed to give my opinion but I

think this is a missed opportunity it make more sense that when you jump it's more risky

you have more momentum you should be able to make more damage and for those

who were asking. NO you know you cannot destroy it all with your bare fists same

result if you have a melee weapon it's not possible and if you were wondering

how many punches you need to knock a person with a level-two vest the answer

is 10 and your level 2 vest is not going to be completely destroyed. Yes you can

super punch someone out of the vehicle

Yes you can pop down wheels from a vehicle if you punch them that will not

cause any damage. NO you cannot try to destroy a vehicle with your own fists

again nothing changed but YES you can destroy a vehicle with a pan or any

other melee weapon don't worry my 9 year old I know what you're thinking and the

answer is 25 I know you pretty well. We have our answers you saw the evidence

and for the first one as expected we're going to approve it. YES is possible a

super punch does more damage and we're going to BUST the second myth. No

jumping with a pan and attacking doesn't cause more damage. But wait I think we

have time for saying thank you so much to my patrons I really appreciate the

support I'm just kidding I'm just kidding

BONUS MYTH

Now this one really captured my attention

random guy wants to know. There are three players in the end one of them throws a

grenade then he dies and the two last players die because of the grenade so

let's go right into it. As I already explained Zord here in front of us is

going to throw the grenade we're going to kill him ASAP and we're going to die

to the grenade and see who wins and as always I'm going to lose but as

already explained in another video I made an update please check it out thank you

so much for your help I think you're correct in this one it makes a lot of

sense that a player who dies first is the one with the lowest ping or in other words

a better internet. So for example here the server is Europe I know I have between

20-40 ms. Arnav here is from Asia so he pretty much has like 200 or 300 ms

even though we explode at the same time since he's lagging the server will

detect ir a little bit later and that's the reason why he's going to win

Last but not least this one comes from me because this is my show and I also want

to participate and please comment down below the answer. GameVestment is not

going to hit 20,000 subscribers this week. Let me know down below if you

approve or BUST this myth as you already know I read and reply to every comment

and if this video was helpful or you learned something new please don't

forget to Like share comment and subscribe really helps a lot. As always thank you

so much for watching and I will snipe you soon

Premium Membership giving you access to unlimited classes to help you to improve your skills in so many different areas

whether that's crafting or

animating or even creating new concepts or even getting started as

Freelancer and the great thing is it's affordable with their annual plan. You can get it for less than $10 a month

so guys the first

500 people will get two months free trial two Skillshare premium meaning you can get access to all the classes including mine and they recently

Released doodle course - hmmm very exciting. Anyway guys, let's dive into today's video

So what applications in 2019 do you need to look out for now in today's video?

I'm gonna be diving into three apps and I think you should 100% check out in 2019 as

Something that you should definitely consider in your process. So let's dive into today's video

So guys the first application if you follow this channel probably won't come a surprise to you

It is notion now notion in 2019 has a exciting journey

Potentially if they release an API to make and connect with other applications

It's going to be an exciting year for them

Now for those who don't know notion is an application allows you to build your own

Productivity software and that's amazing because you can craft essentially any tool or any workspace that you like to get your work done

Whether that's for planning with apps for tracking whether that's for building your own CRM

whatever

It is notion has a website builder layout that allows you just to build your own applications now in 2019

I think notion definitely has a

opportunity of being the most successful

application and it could potentially

rifle applications like Evernote Trello todoist and many more if it's continues down its road of

Being a all-round application

So my recommendation is if you're definitely looking at something like this for 2019, then definitely check out notion

It's available on pretty much all applications and it's something you should definitely try out

My number two is a bit of AI and the reason why I want to share with you about hibbett fight is after reading

Atomic habits by James clear. I think this is a smashing book. I read it on audible. I read it. I

didn't really I listened to it on audible and found it really useful and it really

Encouraged the active actually on positive habits, and I think habit tracking applications

some a great some are

Really lacking in it a habit

If I although available only on iOS and Mac right now is one of those apps that does look exciting in

2019 now they're planning to release an Android application

and it's something that if you were able to get started with in terms of starting a habit tracking process whether you're a student whether

You're a professional or whether you're just using a for casual use

It's something that I think is definitely going to be something you can use in

2019 and number three an exciting application that I was really shocked by because I

Looked at it and then returned to it this year is task aid now a task aid

I did a full first impressions feature. If you want to check it out below. It's a to-do list slash list building application

So essentially you can build up the lists meeting notes. You can even build a bullet journal in it if you want

It's very similar

It's sort of like a blend between notion which we explained in the first and todoist, which is a popular task manager

So the application is growing pretty rapidly. It's available in pretty much every platform

But the exciting thing is it's free and you can invite unlimited collaborators

So if you're looking to get a basic

Task manager slash list builder and you want to be able to use it in team you can download it for free

Collaborate for free and even invite guests to different boards or areas that you use so it's quite an exciting application in that

Manner and I definitely see it doing well in 2019

So guys let me know in comments what three apps you think will be doing well in 2019. Those are my three

I think they're definitely warrant are a

Definitely head nod at least

so definitely go away and download them inscription below if you're interested in checking them out and if you guys a huge thank you for

Stopping by today, make sure to subscribe if you're brand new zukie productive album to you all in a future video

Cheers

Amazon Marketing Services | Can AMS Ads Help You Sell Books? - Duration: 5:11.

Amazon marketing services. AMS ads. what are they? do you actually need them?

how can they help your book sales and what's the best way to get started for

free that's all coming up in this video

Hey everybody. Emeka, coming at you from the blueprint publishing Academy and today

in the 10 part series on self-publishing for 2019 we're talking all about AMS ads

or Amazon marketing services all right so ads have been a massive massive

difference maker key not only my books but my students but for 2018 are they

gonna be the same for 2019 you betcha so what first up let's back up what are

Amazon ads Amazon marketing services so these are the little sponsored ads that

you can see when you type in and when you're looking for a book or a product

on Amazon you can see some of the books are and have a little sponsored label

Nashville so that's what those are somebody paid to have their book there

to help get their books in front of more people this can be a phenomenal thing

for you as they it helps increase your traffic to your book because more eyes

are gonna be on them do you pay for them of course you pay for them it can be

anywhere from a few pennies you know up do it dollar or so you're able to adjust

it you're able to control it I'm not gonna get into that in this video but I

will give you a resource at the end that allows you to get started with it

completely free do you really need Amazon ads right now I you do with how

self-publishing has changed over the last few years running ads to your book

has almost become essential and it's a great way to break into some of the more

competitive niches like self-help weight-loss

and fitness some of the more competitive niches running AMS is to get your books

targeted in front of specific customers can be a big big leg up for you another

thing that I personally love about AMS ads is you're able to target keywords

and words in general like author's names that you're not allowed to target inside

your books metadata so what this means is say you want to target like a famous

author well you're not allowed to have that info anywhere inside of your book

you're inside of your books metadata that's the information that you place

when you upload your book 1080p but you're allowed to use that keyword in

your AMS odds keyword selection so what can these do for your books well they

can do a couple things one it just will drive more traffic to your book and

you'll see based on number of clicks and sales and impressions on if that adds

profitable or not but there's also something else that's happening to your

book that's not as easy to track and that's the organic traffic that is

coming in because of the actual lab see when you promote your book by an AMS

Amazon's promoting it and people will click on it but what's also happening is

now your book is just starting to get more traffic so people are gonna start

to see it more so they might not even click on the actual ad and they might

just scroll down and then say hey this book appeared again and click on

non ad version of your book and end up buying your book that way so it

increases sales even if the ads not profitable sales can still be going up

based on the extra traffic volume that Amazon is now giving you because of your

ad for your book so what's the best place to get started with these well I'm

gonna link my buddies course Dave chest the Kindle preneur and he is a free AMS

course that you can take and it'll give you everything you need to fully get

started with AMS odds if you're brand new to this phenomenal course I love it

it's what I've been using to get going and then the live you are a bit more

familiar with AMS but you want to really kind of ramp up the things I'm gonna

link the number one AMS pads person on the planet today and that is the a mess

that's profit formula I'll link that down below as well so you have a free

option you have a paid option what's the difference the paid option goes into a

lot more detail and has a lot more strategy but the free option is a great

way just to get started if that's what you need for right now if you got any

question about a mess or self-published publishing or business in general hit me

up in the comments let's connect and make sure you smash the subscribe button

and turn bell notifications on so you get the next video till next time everyone

I'm Emeka, speak to you soon

KOI ARE GROWING FAST IN NATURAL MUD POND | HOT SUMMER FOR YAMABUKI OGON FISH - Duration: 10:02.

Hello here is Carl the LandscapeGuy with a new Koi video.

Last time, we examined the Koi from the floating net cage and released them into the natural

pond.

That video will be linked at the end.

Well protected under the safety net, the koi are reunited and developing splendidly.

It's summer and the pond now looks like this.

The continuous sunny days this year warmed the pond up nicely.

At this time of the year, the surrounding trees are really beneficial for the shade

they provide.

Rising temperatures ensure fast growth of the fish.

I also feed them of course, but far below the

amounts used in conventional koi ponds.

So the koi have to look for food themselves in the big pond as well.

You can already see that the Koi are comfortable in their mud pond.

And of course, the higher temperatures give them an even bigger appetite.

Many of the little ones have already exceeded 30 cm and it's really great to see that.

Now check this out, they are sometimes so greedy that they come out of the water, just

to get the food.

We're enjoying the summer, the good weather and the warm nights.

But you can tell that the hot weather is causing more and more evaporation.

The banks of the natural pond begin to dry out.

But the relatively steep banks keep the water surface relatively unchanged in size.

But the water is noticeably less each day and there is no precipitation in sight.

I had connected the roof drainage from several houses to the pond so that it is well fed

with rainfall and the pond itself also acts as a rainwater retention basin.

But that doesn't matter if it doesn't rain.

Even so, the koi are still well, but the high metabolism, high temperatures and the high

oxygen demand not only for the fish, but also for the bacteria in the water and now also

a sinking water level, can lead to problems.

So I reduced the daily amount of food to a minimum and maintain a good overview of everything.

The pond is deep enough in the middle so that the fish always have enough space but at high

temperatures the reduction of the water body can be worrisome.

And finally it's time.

The rain is coming and the pond starts to fill up slowly.

The pond water was already looking cloudy and muddy and that's where the fresh rainwater

helps.

Here you can see again how much water is missing in the pond, normally the water at this time

of year was always at the top of the vegetation.

The

embankment is partially dried out so that cracks have already formed in the soil.

Some lily pads even threatened to dry up.

All of the pond's inhabitants enjoy the fresh late summer rain.

It looks like the koi are happy.

Naturally, everything has changed for the better and every single Koi has survived everything

without any damage.

It is now autumn, the water level has almost reached its normal height and the pond is

quiet and peaceful in the still warm autumn sun.

The water temperature has already dropped considerably and the koi are not so lively

anymore.

But they are still eating very well, so they can go strong into the winter season.

These fish are already a little special, because from the very beginning I kept the koi only

in a natural environment, which made them very robust.

For years, they have gotten along without pond liner, filters, ventilation and heating

and I love watching them.

Many thanks for watching and for so many subscriptions.

There will be more Koi videos and videos from the garden and landscaping coming.

On my channel you will find videos about the construction of this pond and many other projects.

Thanks for the support, and remember: Your landscape is your living space, until next

time, I'm Carl the landscape guy.

News24 - Arsenal transfer news: Eric Bailly WON'T join, he's Man Utd's best defender - Pundit - Duration: 3:17.

That is the opinion of former United defender and now pundit Danny Higginbotham, who has suggested an exit is unlikely

The Ivorian has been linked with a move to Arsenal this week as Unai Emery looks to bolster his defence

The teams put their pursuit of the Premier League top four aside tomorrow night as they go head-to-head in the FA Cup Fourth Round

Bailly fell out of favour towards the end of Jose Mourinho's tenure but has now seen his game time increase since the arrival of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

And Higginbotham believes that there is hope for the defender after being asked whether he has a future at Old Trafford

"I would think so [he has a future]. I still put him up there as one of, if not the best centre-back at the club at the moment," he told Sky Sports News

"I think at times [because of injuries] it's been difficult to get a partnership going

"His first game was Bournemouth away last season or the season before, he loves that scissor challenge and it was always going to come back to bite him and it did when he got sent off against Bournemouth [in December]

"But I do still believe that defensively, he can get dragged out of position at times, he's one of, if not the best centre-back that United have

" His manager Solskjaer was not surprised to hear that the Gunners might be interested in Bailly

"I'm not surprised if they do [want him], to put it that way but that's just one of those things there's always speculation, it's not a big surprise," he said in his press conference

The Norwegian was also quick to praise the impact his counterpart Emery has made since arriving in north London

"Obviously Arsene Wenger and the gaffer are the two longest serving managers in my era, they were fantastic, an institution in the club," he added

"It's going to take time but Unai, they beat us with Sevilla, and they've made a very good signing tactically he's very good, high energy

"I don't know what team he's going to play, he's got loads of different tactics. They've made a very good signing

" Arsenal and United are currently both locked on 44 points in the Premier League, three points behind Chelsea who currently occupy the final Champions League qualification spot

MEGHAN TRAINOR 'TREAT MYSELF' WAFFLES ✨ Celebrity Sweets - Duration: 4:51.

-MUSIC-

Welcome back to another Celebrity Sweets. I'm Ethan and tomorrow January 25th

Meghan trainor is set to release her new album and it is titled treat myself

And we make a bunch of different treats on this show and don't get me wrong

I love all the treats that we make but one thing I do like to make to treat myself or waffles. They're just so good

So today we were going to be making some waffles inspired by Meghan Trainor's new album

And we're just going to be making some very vibrant marbling waffles

because the album kind of reminds me of prism with like light and vibrant colors and

reflections and glitter

So we're going to replicate that in our waffle and we're also going to make some homemade of marble butter

The ingredients for this recipe are 2 cups all-purpose flour

10 tablespoons of butter 2 large eggs

1/3 cup of melted butter 2 cups of low-fat buttermilk 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar 2

teaspoons of baking powder 1 teaspoon of baking soda

1/2 a teaspoon of salt 1 and 1 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla extract

and some vibrant food coloring

the first thing we're going to do in making these waffles is make the marbled butter now to make this we're actually going to take

Our ten tablespoons of butter and then combine them using our hands kind of like it mush it up

so I have just have some gloves on just because I

Don't want to touch all that butter and it's best if your butter is at room temperature, it just helps to incorporate the colors better

Start by taking all of your butter add it to a bowl and then using your hand

Mix it up until you get a flat disk

Then add a few colors of your choice and then carefully Marble it into the butter. Once your butter is all marbled

Now we want to transfer over to a piece of plastic wrap and then you can shape it into

whatever shape you'd like you can make it a sphere. I'm just gonna go for a classic

Rectangle and now I want to pop this back into the fridge so that it can set up and Harden

The next thing we're going to do is in a large bowl combine all of our dry ingredients

Because this is going to be our base

-MUSIC-

So combine all of your flour

Sugar baking powder baking soda and salt into your large bowl and whisk it up

I've just set our dry ingredients off to the side and now in a small bowl we can combine our butter milk

Melted butter and eggs and whisk it up so we've got our wet and that's dry

So we've got our dry and wet ingredients

Both separately mixed and now we can start to combine them into making this waffle batter

The first thing we want to do is create a well in the center of your flour to do this

just take your hands and spread apart the flour then pour all of your wet ingredients into that hole and

Mix it up. You want to mix the batter until you see no more white flour around the sides or the bottom

You still will see the lumps, but you don't want to over mix

Next we want to add in our vanilla extract mix it up then add your food coloring a little bit at a time

Starting it to give it a marble effect. So our waffle batter has a nice marble effect going on

So now I want to let this sit for about five minutes So our waffle batter has sat for five minutes and while it was sitting I prepared our waffle iron

Now this step is different for everyone. You just want to add in however much batter your waffle iron will fit

remember the waffles are going to expand so just start in the middle and just add a little bit and then close the lid and

Wait, so our waffles are all made. This recipe makes about five and a half

Six inch waffles. Well, I couldn't show you a half

So I took the liberty of eating that one but now we can start to assemble this stack of waffles over here

We've got our marble butter that is firm and over here

I've got some hot maple syrup because it's a waffle

start by just cutting some slabs of your marble butter and add it to your waffle stack then drizzle on some maple syrup and

Here we have them our Meghan Trainor inspired waffles that we made today the recipe we used is a homemade waffle batter

That's nice and airy and fluffy and then we made a homemade marble butter

Which is super simple and you could add this on many different things

This just elevates your waffles to another level and then we add maple syrup on top

If you happen to make these please share them with me on Instagram or Twitter

And if you have any other requests for another Celebrity sweets
