Youtube daily report Apr 16 2017

And then you've got Cyborg, who has had a very tragic past.

2400 hours and 2 minutes. Subject declining rapidly.

JOHNS: Cyborg is Vic Stone.

He's estranged from his father who is Silas Stone,

a big scientist at S.T.A.R. Labs who works with experimental and alien technology.

Dr. Silas Stone suspending all clinical protocol.

JOHNS: His son is caught in a horrible accident and pronounced dead,

and it's only through Silas Stone's efforts

that he brings his son back to life with this technology.

Then he becomes Cyborg.

A lot of people don't know him because they didn't grow up with him.

Нe was introduced in 1980,

and he became, l think, one of the best characters in the DC Universe

because he is this perfect hybrid of man and machine.

And he's more relevant today than ever

because we rely on digital technology so much,

and you have a guy now

who is always constantly getting an influx of data that's going into him,

and he's got to sort through it.

He's really a guy who struggles between the digital life and his real life.

CHARLES ROVEN: And Ray, he's mostly a stage actor.

But the power of his performance was undeniable.

And even in the small bit that you will see him...

(SCREAMING)

It's powerful.

RAY FISHER: His greatest strength is actually his greatest weakness

because, the prosthetics, even though they give him these crazy powers,

they don't allow him to live a normal life.

One of his greatest struggles is trying to stay human

or what we perceive to be human,

so l feel like it brings a very human quality

to something that is so much larger than life.

Unboxing The NEW Mavic Comète Ultimate Cycling Shoes | Win With GCN - Duration: 7:10.

- This week's GCN unboxing has, I'll admit,

got me even more quivery with excitement than usual.

As you know, I am a big fan of new tech.

And what is inside this box has been causing

something of a stir in recent weeks.

This is going to be one seriously exclusive GCN unboxing.

And yes, we are still giving away

the contents of this box at the end of this video.

Because what's in here is the new Mavic Comète shoes.

Ooohh.

Now, let's get this out of the way early, shall we?

These cost $1000 per pair.

That is an expensive pair of shoes

whichever way you look at it.

I did in fact have a Google,

and it turns out that you can buy a pair of Manolo Blahniks

for the same price.

Now unfortunately they don't make my size,

and they're not really my cup of tea anyway.

And I doubt very much that anywhere near as much design,

engineering, and R&D goes into those than these here Mavics.

Now, aside from the price, this is no ordinary shoe.

If it's possible to change shoe design,

then Mavic has pretty much done it.

They say that this project actually started right back

in 2011 following a request from pro athletes for a shoe

with even better power transfer,

but without any added weight.

So, Mavic turned to outside

of the cycling industry for inspiration.

And then, just 200 prototypes later, they have this.

And they are more than happy that it ticks

both of their original boxes, plus a few more.

And they say they've got the research to back it up.

They way they've done it

is to separate the shoes into two parts.

And no, I don't just mean left and right.

I mean they've literally separated each shoe into two parts.

(clicking)

Don't worry, I know what I'm doing.

There we go.

A carbon fibre outer, kind of like an exoskeleton,

handles all the power transfer and the stability.

As you can see, the carbon shell wraps all the way over

the side of your foot there.

But, they kept that super light weight.

Now, Mavic say they've spent a long time

dialing in the perfect fit of the carbon,

and also the thickness of it.

And having spent an awfully long time building carbon wheels

they've got a lot of experience at working,

and also testing it.

One of the areas where that's really apparent

is the stack height.

So that is the distance between

the ball of your foot and the pedal.

It's just four and a half millimetres.

Now that's tiny.

It's also, Mavic say, important,

and we'll come onto that in a little bit.

Part two of the shoe is this, the inner bootie.

Now this is designed for hot weather

racing or riding in mind,

so it's got a stack of ventilation you can see there.

Now, it's made out of a synthetic material,

and you'll have noticed, I'm sure,

that it was actually pretty difficult to remove it

from the carbon shell.

Part of that is due to this

really high friction outer layer.

So the carbon and this integrate into one entity by the end.

It's also got a removable inner sole.

And, should you wish,

you can replace it

with a different one from inside your box there.

Now this is slightly thicker,

so if you were to have a particularly low volume foot,

then you'd still be able to get comfortable

with the same carbon exoskeleton.

So what about that research then?

Well, Mavic say there were two parts to the potential

performance benefits of using these shoes.

Firstly, they were able to measure a significant reduction

in calf muscle activity when pedaling.

From that, they were able to establish

there is a potential lower cost of pedaling,

so greater muscular efficiency.

And they've attributed that to two things.

Firstly, their super low stack height,

that I've just been talking about, and I did say

it was very important.

But then also, they've measured an increased ankle movement,

19% in fact, thanks to their 3D image capture software.

And they have attributed that due to the fact

that you have this really soft upper bootie there,

and then the carbon fibre is cut really low,

so you can literally move your ankle further,

and with less resistance.

In addition, they also worked out

that the increased freedom of ankle movement

could allow for a fuller pedal stroke.

And they actually tested for it and found that subjects

could put out over four watts more power,

at the dead points of the pedal stroke,

so top dead centre and bottom dead centre,

compared to their previous shoes.

And that was when riding at a steady state of 250 watts

on a watt bike.

Because of this, and all the positive feedback

that Mavic received from testers,

particularly influential was Dan Martin

of Quick-Step Floors, who has supposedly said

that he feels a greater connecion to his bike

wearing these shoes than with anything previously.

Mavic were moved to actually test for overall performance.

So once again, test subjects were asked to ride a watt bike.

This time to exhaustion.

And they found, apparently, that 70% of those subjects

performed better for wearing these new shoes,

compared to their old top of the range models,

and that was the only thing they changed.

It sounds quite incredible,

and I could imagine that the sceptics among you out there

are probably poised with fingers above keyboards

ready to type a comment.

But before you do, I would just say one thing.

Mavic are a company of longstanding

and they have a reputation of for doing things in very

deliberate and considered way.

They don't tend to jump on bandwagons,

they don't tend to make exaggerated claims.

So, we are hoping to get a little bit more insight

into this testing protocol very soon.

But in the meantime,

I thought I'd show you something kind of cool.

Custom overshoes!

Look at that.

That's a nice touch.

Also in here, a cleaning cloth.

In a dedicated cleaning cloth pocket.

Oh yeah.

Well, as I said, we are actually

still going to give these shoes away

to one lucky GCN viewer.

If you want that to be you,

you need to enter the competition.

To find out how to enter the competition,

well you just need to listen now,

because I'm going to tell you.

In the description below this video, there is a link.

Click on that, and it will take you straight through

to the competition.

There, you will answer a simple question,

and then keep your fingers crossed.

Then in the mean time, why not subscribe to GCN?

First of all, that's very simple.

Just click on the globe.

And then, if you want more content, well,

why not click just over there to find out how and when

to replace your cleats on your cycling shoes.

And then for another cheeky little Mavic innovation,

why not go back to Eurobike 2016 to see their

new quick release through axle?

And that's just up there.

Seemingly Innocent Games That Are Actually Messed Up - Duration: 6:02.

Games like Grand Theft Auto and Resident Evil have played an instrumental role in the corruption

of our youth… or at least that's what some advocacy groups would like you to believe.

"Won't somebody PLEASE think of the children!"

Little do these hand-wringing parents know, some of the most existentially messed-up stuff

is actually lurking within the most innocent-looking video games.

Buried deep in the code of your everyday Super Mario or Legend of Zelda title, are horrors

to keep young brains awake at night.

After checking out some of these nightmare factories, you worry-worts will wish your

kid played more Grand Theft Auto.

Here are a few games that are secretly messed up at their core.

Super Mario Sunshine

The Koopa Kids are nothing new.

Bowser's collection of motherless, murderous brats have been wandering around the Mushroom

Kingdom since Super Mario Bros. 3.

But it wasn't until recently that Nintendo decided that these kids weren't actually the

product of King Koopa's scaly loins.

By the time Super Mario Sunshine was released, that honor was given exclusively to Bowser Jr.

The game introduces us the hitherto unknown Koopa kid when Bowser Jr. kidnaps Princess

Peach, because he thinks that Princess Peach is his mom.

And as unlikely as that seems, no one really seems to deny it too hard.

Peach even seems to think that it's a remote possibility…

"Mama Peach?

I'm your mama?"

...as though giving birth to a squirming ball of spikes would be a forgettable experience.

Still, by the end of the game, even Bowser Jr. knows that he still has no idea who his

mom is.

"I know she's not really my mama."

He doesn't even really care either.

All he wants to do is get back out there and kill Mario.

That didn't stop a legion of Nintendo nerds from really, really getting into the idea

that Princess Peach has a reptile fetish.

Which, honestly, says more about players than it says about Nintendo's slightly sad, throwaway

plot point.

Sonic the Hedgehog

Nintendo isn't the only company to cross the species barrier when it comes to love.

2006's Sonic the Hedgehog from Sega also shares that creepy honor.

While fans consider it to be one of the worst entries in the franchise due to its terrible

controls and bugs, these flaws often overshadow that it also contains one of the oddest romantic

subplots in any video game.

Ever want to see an anthropomorphic hedgehog and a human woman fall in love?

Well, Sega's got you covered.

For some reason.

While there's no doubt that this version of Sonic was designed to titillate, this begs

the question: who at Sega decided to hire the furry fan-fic writer?

"It's not that fun, but what else are you gonna do?

Dressed up like a dang animal."

Pokémon

Beneath the surface of Pokemon's brightly-colored, adorable characters lies a dark, ugly truth

— and it's not just the fact that you probably shouldn't leave Brock alone with your sister.

Pokemon are faced with some pretty horrible stuff.

They're abducted from the wild and enslaved in fist-sized orbs, and then they're constantly

subjected to the cartoon version of organized dogfighting.

It's so prevalent that the economy of an entire world seems to be based around animal abuse.

With each battle, a Pokemon's masters' fortune and fame grows… but to what end?

Your Snorlax just gets one more battle scar, you get another badge, and the cruel cycle continues.

The next time you catch a Pikachu by smashing its face in with a magical baseball, think

about making a donation to the Humane Society as well.

Metroid II: Return of Samus

After apparently destroying the pulsating Mother Brain during her first adventure, Samus

Aran travels to the Metroids' home planet in Metroid 2.

Her mission?

Just a little thing called wholesale-Metroid-extinction.

Samus' goal is to wipe out the entire Metroid species so they can't be used as weapons by

Space Pirates, which is basically like killing every dog in existence because one bit you once.

The problem is that Metroids aren't inherently evil.

They're just being Metroids.

Sucking the life energy out of things is just what they do, like leeches, or ticks, or Smash Mouth.

They don't mean any harm, and they're just a part of nature.

Samus succeeds in her mission, but spares one infant Metroid...which sees her as its

mom… which she later gives to scientists to experiment on.

Yeah.

Now if you were going to wipe out those headcrabs from Half-Life, that we'd understand.

DuckTales

It's a tale of unrelenting greed, endangering the welfare of children, and obsession.

If you didn't grow up watching DuckTales after you got off the schoolbus, you haven't really lived.

Capcom developed the cartoon into an exceptional video game that followed the themes of the

cartoon pretty accurately.

Your task is to lead Scrooge McDuck on a quest to find a series of lost treasures, and become

even wealthier.

Y'know, because your towering, multi-story vault full of gold that you literally swim

in isn't enough to fulfill your weird money lust.

Anyway.

The game even rewards players with better endings if they collect more money.

And the game's sequel is even more of the same.

We get it, Scrooge.

You're the very definition of the 1 percent, and named after the most notorious, selfish

miser in history.

You know, except without the three ghosts teaching you moral lessons to make you less horrible.

The Legend of Zelda

It wasn't until the early 2000s that fans were let in on the little secret that Link,

the hero of the Legend of Zelda series, is not a single guy, but the name of several

different people who lived across thousands of years, spanning multiple timelines.

Sometimes, a dead Link will even haunt a living Link.

So, every so often, a kid named Link is born, and he has absolutely no choice about saving

the world.

This isn't your average Luke Skywalker situation, either.

Link after Link after Link has to live through the same horrific battles against demonic

dinosaurs, puddles full of sentient eyeballs, an evil, grimacing moon, and invading, world-crushing evils.

This boy's fate is ripped from his hands, century after century, and on into eternity.

That sucks.

What if the new Link wanted to be a baker?

Or a guy who makes bottles?

We know Hyrule needs them.

There are only like four in the entire world.

Too bad.

Destiny has something else in store for you.

Here's your sword.

Now go kill everything you see.

2017 MG GS Review | Australian Launch - Duration: 2:55.

When most people think of MG cars they think of compact, fun to drive droptops but the

MG of today is a very different company.

It's Chinese owned and this, the compact SUV called the GS, is the company's new

hope for the brand in Australia.

It's quiet to drive, ride comfort isn't too bad and the high seating position provides

a good view of the road.

I like the electric park brake and the autohold function is good too but the tiny rear windscreen

reduces rearward vision.

Engine response is so-so.

There's a delay between pressing the go pedal and the car responding, which makes

it slow from a standing start but once up and running it's fine.

The interior of the car is surprisingly impressive.

I had very low expectations here but what they've done here with the design of the

dash is really quite nice.

The shape of the vents and also the touchscreen infotainment system, not too shabby.

The touchscreen infotainment system is a winner.

It's easy to use and understand and there's plenty of space for four large adults, five

at a pinch, in this car.

The boot is a bit cramped but you can fold the rear seats down for more space and incidental

storage like cup holders and bottle holders is really good.

You get plenty of bang for your buck here too with rear parking sensors and Bluetooth

connectivity standard on all models.

We've been given access to a small dirt loop which is pretty rare on an SUV launch

but MG wanted to show us what the chassis was like on loose surfaces and also the ESP

and cornering brake control and I've got to say it's a pretty good system.

It just gives you a bit more confidence.

It seems like they've certainly done their homework in terms of chassis dynamics.

We've done the dirt and now we're doing a Motorkhana.

We're really pushing the car on a closed circuit and, you know what?

It's not a bad little chassis.

The front end grips pretty well, even on the wet stuff.

She feels predicable.

I mean, most owners are never going to drive it like this but to know that it is quite

capable is impressive and let's try those brakes.

A little bit of ABS.

Not too shabby.

The MG GS is cheap but it's definitely not nasty.

In fact, it exceeded our expectations, modest that they were.

But, and it's a big but, the MG, and Chinese cars in general, have a long way to go before

they match the best from Japan and Korea.

This car shows that MG is finally on its way and with a six-year warranty, capped price

servicing and a bit of styling flair, it definitely deserves, at least, a second look.

So-Called Unhealthy Foods You Should Be Eating - Duration: 7:17.

When it comes to healthy eating, nutritionists know what's up.

They're professionally trained in how to take in the optimal balance of nutrients.

"Apples, berries, pears, watermelons..."

"Uhh… corn-dogs."

So, when we picture a typical nutritionist, we often think of a glowing young woman who

has a green smoothie for breakfast, packed a salad for lunch, and roasts some veggies

for dinner.

Her cheat day?

Kale chips.

So, maybe she spends some days like this, but nutritionists also know a little secret:

Food isn't good or bad.

We're not "good" for eating a salad or "bad" for eating a pizza.

In fact, the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics says that classifying certain foods like that

only leads to confusion and unhealthy eating.

They also skip fads, like:

"The Instagram diet.

That's where you order whatever you want, take a picture of it, post it, throw it in

the garbage.

Tweet it, don't eat it."

"I don't wanna do that one."

We could all learn a little something from nutritionists when it comes to balance.

Here are some foods you thought were unhealthy, but are actually good for you!

"So good, so good, so good, so good."

Eggs

Notice we're talking about eggs, not just egg whites.

Yes, girl, eat those yolks!

A whole egg contains six grams of protein and only seventy calories.

The egg yolk itself is a rich source of choline, which is an anti-inflammatory nutrient.

It not only protects from neurological disease, but also helps produce those happy chemicals

like serotonin and dopamine.

If you've been sticking with a little granola or fruit in the morning with the hopes of

dropping a few pounds, don't be afraid to add some eggs to your plate.

A study in the International Journal of Obesity found that dieters who ate eggs for breakfast

lost a whopping 65 percent more weight than those who had a bagel with the equal amount

of calories!

Eggs are healthy, but omelets loaded with cheese and cooked in butter?

Not so much.

Spray a pan with a little EVOO, and throw some veggies in your scramble.

"E-G-G-S, E-G-G-S, E-G-G-S, eggs!

E-G-G-S, E-G-G-S, E-G-G-S...

Potatoes

Potatoes were friend-zoned during the low-carb craze of the '90s.

But now you can get your crush back on with spuds!

Potatoes are loaded with nutrients like vitamin C, vitamin B, iron, potassium, and fiber.

They also contain the new nutrition buzzwords, "resistance starch."

It's the type of starch that gives you that full feeling, but the body doesn't absorb

it.

Enjoying a baked potato or oven-baked fries won't derail your diet.

The secret is to be choosy with toppings.

Nutritionists choose a small amount of one or two of their favorites, then load up with

veggies.

Pasta

Don't ditch your macaroni all together.

Whole grain pasta is a great source of energy and fiber.

Just aim to match the same amounts of pasta and vegetables on your plate — like onions,

peppers, zucchini, spinach, and broccoli.

Balance out the starch of the pasta with some healthy fats like olive oil or nuts, and lean

protein like chicken or fish.

"If you do it the way your grandmother tells you to do, you never go wrong.

Let's have a good time."

Beer

You don't have to skip happy hour with your co-workers to live a healthy lifestyle.

Your favorite nutritionist isn't avoiding the bar at all costs.

She's just being smart about portions.

Beer is a rich source of carbohydrates and antioxidants.

For women, "moderate drinking" means no more than one drink per day.

Having a beer might even lower your risk for heart disease and stroke.

"You, me, beer, baseball — what more could a guy want?"

"UGHHHH"

Coffee

It's easy to beat yourself up for feeling dependent on caffeine, but maybe it's time

to stop with the anti-coffee crusade.

In moderation, coffee can absolutely be part of a healthy diet.

Not only is it loaded with antioxidants, but it's been linked to a lower incidence of type

2 diabetes.

Opt for black coffee with a little non-fat or nut milk.

Skip the sugary creamers.

Avoid the jitters by limiting yourself to one cup each morning.

After that, switch to water to hydrate.

"Marsha"

"And when it's ready, Verisimo's voice feature will let you know."

"Amorfa.

Order for Amorfa."

Raisins

We're often told to steer clear of dried fruit, because of their sugar levels.

Fresh is always best, but don't pick the raisins out of your trail mix just yet.

Unlike other dried fruits, raisins don't contain added sugar or fruit juice.

Grapes aren't tart, so they don't need any added sweetness.

Just remember that portion sizes are still important.

One cup of grapes is equal to about one-fourth cup of raisins.

Toss some in with your yogurt, nuts, or celery snack in the afternoon.

"I wanna be creative with raisins, I use Sun-Maid.

I wouldn't dream of giving my family anything less."

Peanut butter

Yes, peanut butter is high in fat, so portion control is key, but don't give up on your

beloved PB&J just yet.

Studies have shown that people who eat peanut butter regularly are actually healthier overall.

Peanut butter is high in protein, which helps you feel full.

Make sure to opt for natural peanut butter.

Other types can have a little junk in their trunks — like high fructose corn syrup and

trans fats.

"It's peanut butter jelly time!

Peanut butter jelly time!

Peanut butter jelly time!

Where he at?

Where he at?!"

Bread

The next time your dieting friend practically slaps the waiter for bringing a bread basket

to the table, share the good news.

Bread is not the enemy.

In fact, bread can be incredibly nutritious and won't sabotage your weight-loss efforts

— if you select the right kind.

"I. LOVE.

BREAD."

Stick with whole grain, because it contains all parts of the kernel — which means it

contains all the natural nutrients.

Refined, white bread, has been stripped of the bran and germ, which contain most of bread's

fiber and vitamins.

"Bake it well, make it ring the bell"

Bacon

Nutritionists don't deprive themselves of the food they love most.

But when it comes to bacon?

Small portions are the way to go.

Bacon's gotten a bad rap because it's high in saturated fat.

But the Women's Health Initiative, which studied over 20,000 women, found no evidence that

a low-fat diet protected against heart disease.

In fact, enjoying some fat in your diet will help you feel full and satisfied — and is

even associated with improved weight loss.

"Is that bacon?"

(Airsoft) Airsoft bow MCI3D (prototype) - Duration: 24:07.

Hello YouTube, welcome to this new video, an original video today because I'm showing you this

"This" being an airsoft bow prototype which has been generously lent to me by MCI3D

I'm not sure if MCI3D is the name of a company or something, but it's at least the name of a Facebook page

And the person who owns this Facebook page has been working for some time on this prototype

This prototype being an airsoft bow

What I have in my hand here is made of two seperate elements : the compound bow itself

And all the black part which is connected to the string of the bow, which is obviously the interesting part

The bow itself is a bow from the market, I don't know anything about bows, I'm not sure what it is

Here you can see a small logo, some kind of wolf with fire ; I believe there is something written somewhere on the bow

Here it is : "Firefox Buster" ; I guess if you search for this on Google you'll find something

But the interesting part here is the black part, which is really the prototype I'm talking about

I'm probably going to repeat myself a lot in this video, sorry about that

So, this is an airsoft bow ; why saying this is an airsoft bow ?

Because instead of shooting arrows like a normal bow, here you'll shoot 6mm plastic bbs, just like 99% of airsoft guns

Maybe you're going to ask what's the point of it, well the whole point is to be able to use this bow exactly like any other airsoft gun

If you were using an actual bow, even a bow made for it, like for example the bows of Archery Tag with the foam arrows

With this kind of system, obviously you can't carry a lot of arrows with you and you have to pick them up after shooting them

On this bow you use an actual magazine, like most airsoft guns as well

It really allows you to use this bow on the field like you would use any other airsoft gun

So, how does it work ? You can see that the black part is connected to the bow via this screw here

You also have this white part which connects the shaft here to the string of the bow

I'll try to explain how it works as far as I understand it ; as said before we have a removable magazine here

You put the bbs in the magazine through this hole

The magazine feeds the system through this hole here

You have this part here you can manually pull here

I'm not sure I'll be able to show you, but you can see that when I pull this part, it pulls a nozzle inside

When the nozzle is in the back, it allows a bbs to go inside the system and then, when it goes in front again, it pushes the bbs to the hop up unit

There is indeed a hop up unit here, you can actually adjust it with this wheel here

And this black cylinder here is the inner barrel

Then, when I pull the string ; the string is connected to the shaft, and when I release the string...

I'm not sure how it actually works inside, but if I had to guess, I think that the shaft pushes a piston in the right tube here

There is a piston moving inside a cylinder, which compresses air

The compressed air goes through the other tube via this pipe here

The compressed air goes to the system and is used to actually shoot the bbs

In the end it uses compressed air, just like a VSR10 or even a AEG

Here is the magazine, I'll put 0.28 gr bbs inside

Here is a full magazine (14 bbs), let's put in on

So, a little problem on the prototype : the magazine doesn't reliably feed the system

Most of the prototype is 3D printed, using PLA, and the finish of the parts (including the magazine, obviously) is quite rough

Therefore, the bbs tend to not slide correctly inside the magazine

The production model will have ABS parts instead of PLA, the finish will be smoother and I'm sure it will work better

I'll put my safety glasses now

You have two ways to use the bow : you can manually pull this part in order to chamber a bbs

Here I have just chambered a bbs

Now I just have to pull the string and release

I have just shoot a bbs

I can also just pull strongly the string, and at the end, pull even a bit more, which will also chamber a bbs

If you manually chamber a bbs like so, it will be easier to pull the string

At this point you have to use some strength in order to continually pull the string, but it's not too difficult

If you directly use the string to chamber a bbs, you need to use a bit more strength which will get you tired faster

I'll shoot a few more bbs ; you can see here the bbs are stuck inside the magazine, I have to help them to move a little bit

Then again it's a prototype, with the smoother parts of the production model this problem shouldn't occur

Chrony passage with 0.20 gr ATM bbs

Now I'll try to show you how the bow shoot, however, there is something important I need to point out

What we will see here are the performances of the bow, as well as my own skill as an archer, and I'm probably not a very good archer

In order to have good performances with an airsoft bow, you obviously need to be efficient with a bow

If it was possible, I could use some system in order to block the bow and just see how the bbs go when you shoot it, but it's not possible here

We have a VSR10 type inner barrel here, a hop up unit with a VSR10 type hop up rubber

We saw that the power was also quite consistant, so I really think it's possible to have in theory very decent performances with this bow, assuming you know how to shoot it

Note there is no sights ; I'm not sure to know how real archers actually aim

I guess that the more you shoot, always the same way, in the end you just instinctively know where the arrow is going to go

I don't have a lot of experience with bows, I would have like some sights to help me

You can actually see an empty area here ; a little picatinny rail here would be nice, just so you can put a little red dot like a RMR or docter sight

So now I'm going to shoot, then again I insist : we'll see as much the performances of the bow as my own performances

I'm going to shoot my VTA target, which is more or less the size of a human torso

Let's go... I chamber a bbs

I managed to hit the target, it's a good start I guess

As said before, two solutions : I can manually chamber a bbs like so

Hit again

But I can also pull the string, and at the end, pull a little more in order to chamber a bbs

Here, I have just dry fired, why : that's because the magazine spring didn't manage to pull the bbs

Then again, it's because the finish of the magazine (made of PLA) is rough and the bbs have trouble to slide

This problem shouldn't be here of the production model

The magazine is empty now, it shoots all the bbs of the magazine

I'm about 15 meters away from the target ; it's ok, it's easy enough to hit it

Now let's try a bit further away

Now I'm about 20 meters from the target, it feels very far away already and I'm a bit afraid to look ridiculous

I reloaded the magazine with 14 bbs in theory, let's go

Just on the right

Hit

Hit again

Hit

Hit again

Hit !

Hit ! It's ok it's not too bad, I'm quite glad I manage to hit the target actually

I'm getting a bit tired though, my left arm hurt

Hit, but almost miss

Miss

Do I have some bbs left... Yes some

Hit

When you chamber a bbs, you can actually hear if a bbs has been chambered or not, it can be a good hint

This time I have no bbs left

That's was 20 meters away, it's still easy enough to hit a human target at this distance, let's try a bit more further away

Here we are 30 meters away, it's going to be much more difficult I think, but let's see if a very average archer like myself can still hit something with this MCI3D airsoft bow

Here it goes... I chamber a bbs

So, where am I going to point this thing

It just went a bit too much on the right, but actually close to the target

A bit too high

Hit !

Hit again !

A bit on the left

... Really just a little bit too high

A bit on the right

Ouch... Way too much on the left

I'm getting a bit tired, keep that in mind too

Too high

There is a bbs left

Hit !

There is actually one more bbs

... Just on the right

I'll try a 2nd magazine at 30 meters

Let's go

Just below

Hit !

Hit again

Just below

A bit too high

A bit on the left

Huh... A bit high on the right...

A bit on the left

Hit !

Hit again

No more bbs

Frankly I think it's quite nice ; I don't know what you think but I really don't have the feeling that the bow is performing badly

I think it's just me that doesn't shoot so well

The bbs trajectory seems very nice to me ; compared to any other gun I have shoot here, it doesn't feel wrong to me

If the shooter himself know how to shoot a bow, I'm sure it's possible to get very decent performances out of this thing

So, now I'm much closer to the target, about 10 meters away

I want to see if it's possible to shoot fast with the bow

We saw the two systems in order to chamber a bbs : you either manually pull this part or pull all the way to the rear the bow string

I'll try to shoot as fast as possible so we can see what it does

I'm probably going to quickly make dry shots, as said before it's because of the rough finish of the magazine (NB : I'm reaaaaaaaaaally repeting myself in this video aren't I...)

Let's go

Voila... I have shot all the bbs

On a strictly mechanical point of view, you can shoot as fast as you can pull the string of the bow

You really can Legolas it if you want too

Then again, the magazine has trouble to feed the system but it's a problem of the prototype, it shouldn't be here on the final model

However, maybe you noticed

You have two courses when you pull the string, the first one

Here is the first course, the string feels in the right position here

But you can pull it even a bit more in order to chamber the bbs

If you try to go fast, by pulling the string all the way to the rear in one time, you can see that the muzzle is going to shake a lot

I'm not sure if I just don't have the right technic or if this is something you can't avoid

But it makes it really hard to shoot it fast and straight

Maybe there is some technic I could learn... I'm not sure

It's possible to shoot fast, but really for close targets I think

Anyway, even if you shoot fast, you'll never shoot as fast as a GBB or something, I guess it's not really the point of a bow

Also, I'd like to point out the actual grip of this bow, which I don't really like

It might come from the fact that this is a bow for children or teenager

The grip is very small and thin, it feels like holding a 1911 magazine

There is a lot of pressure on my thumb joint, it's really not comfortable

Having a bigger grip and/or gloves might help

For the end of this video I'm going to do a summary and FAQ

So, what I have here is the MCI3D airsoft bow, it's still a prototype version mostly made with PLA (3D printing)

The production model will be made out of ABS, with different colors and different finish

In the long term, upgrade parts made of aluminum should be available as well, which will allow to have higher powers (2 joules shouldn't be a problem)

According to MCI3D, the bow should be available in 2018 and should cost around 450 euros

450 euros would be the whole thing (bow + airsoft part)

Of course, don't hesitate to go take a look and like the Facebook page of MCI3D, the link is in the video description

To see the news regarding the bow, it will be better to check directly here

In the begining it shouldn't be possible to just buy the airsoft part

But in the end it should be possible to just buy the airsoft part and put it on any compound bow, or maybe even a recurve bow

Here we have a model with a low capacity magazine (14 bbs), but bigger magazines (30 bbs) will be available

The system uses a VSR10 type barrel and hop up rubber ; I think all the other parts are proprietary

Here it is I think, I said everything I had to say about this MCI3D airsoft bow

I don't know what you think but I'm really enthusiastic, I really like this kind of project in the airsoft world

I think a lot of people will be interested by this system, at least all the people who think it would be cool to use a bow on the field

I'm sure some people are also going to be very skeptical : "what's the point ?"

Indeed, I don't think that playing with a bow is going to give you any advantage

I guess it's very silent though, you won't make a lot of noise with this

But you're not going to have better performances than a sniper rifle, you'll have a low rate of fire

It will be hard to be accurate at long distances, harder than with any other type of gun

You won't be very reactive as well ; when you're low ready with a rifle, it only takes half a second to shoulder and shoot

It takes longer to do the same with a bow

It's not going to make you a better player, but it might increase the experience you're having as a player

I think that playing with a bow on the airsoft field is a bit like hunting with a bow

You're going to make less frags, but each frag will be more satisfying

At least this is my opinion about it

I think this system would make a lot of sense on a crossbow

I guess that because of The Walking Dead a lot of people would like to play with a crossbow

I think a crossbow would have several advantages compared to a bow, notably the capability to stay armed with no effort

Here, it's not very hard to stay in this position with this bow, but it's still a bit tiring over time

If you had a crossbow like this, you could have it armed with no effort, you could have a trigger, sights, etc

It would be easier to use, and on a strictly style point of view, I think a lot of people would like it as well

Thanks for watching the video, then again don't hesitate to go like MCI3D Facebook page

Don't hesitate to ask him questions, obviously he knows his prototype a lot better than I do

Thanks for watching the video, see you next time for a new video !

Y/n: I'm okay. (okay this sounded racist, so I went with this instead of 'white person'.)

WS: Why~ You are pretty~

WS: Isn't that right?

Y/n: That's right~

WS: Hey! I am also wearing white clothes!

Y/n: I agree. Respect!

Y/n: What should we eat?

WS: You really like pork belly, isn't that right?

Y/n: Oh my god!

Y/n: Wooshik is really cool!

Y/n: Kiyoung is not~

Y/n: I'm hungry~

WS: Auntie, give us 3 servings of pork belly, please. (just like ajjeossi last time, they say auntie but it's just a term they like to use, it can mean lady or ms.)

KY: Ey~ you have no sense.

WS: Yah Yah Yah

WS: That tissue is worse that those from the toilets

KY: Who said that?

WS: My friend.

WS: Auntie, please bring us a bottle of soju too!

Y/n: Aigo~ Thank you!

WS: Oh~ Meat!!

Y/n: Wow! Amazing!

WS: It's meat!

Y/n: Wooshik are you excited?

Y/n: Give us some beats.

Y/n: Drop the beat

Y/n: Did you finish filming your drama?

KY: 'The boy next door'?

Y/n: Yap.

WS: April 3rd. You're going to watch right?

Y/n: But, where can I watch it?

KY: Dingo.

Y/n: So that means it's going to air next week on monday?

Y/n: I'll be sure to watch it!

KY: Woah!

KY+WS: Pork Belly and Soju! Pork Belly and Soju! Pork Belly and Soju!

Y/n: It seems that you are closer now?

WS: Of course!

WS: Because of this webseries.

KY: Nuna, you remember right? (nuna is used here to address an older girl, not necessary meaning older sister.)

KY: When we filmed for the first time I was really nervous,

KY: But,

KY: This hyung that's next to me helped me a lot.

WS: It's not like that~

KY: What do you mean it's not like that~?

WS: Yah! That's enough. Let's drink.

KY: Dont be shy.

WS: Shy? What shy!

WS: I told you to stop saying embarrassing things!

KY: Praises are good things!

WS: Well, I guess I like them.

WS: Let's toast!

KY: Bottoms up!

Y/n: Cheers!

KY: Oh, Nuna!

Y/n: Me?

KY: Eat only half!

Y/n: Omo, why?

Y/n: I don't care.

Y/n: I am excited! Yeah!

Y/n: It's hot!

WS: Eat carefully~ It was hot right?

Y/n: But are you really living together?

WS: No.

KY: No, no, no.

Y/n: Hm...

Y/n: If it's the boy next door then you should be living next to each other at least.

KY: It's not like that.

Y/n: Ey~I'm right!

Y/n: 100% living next door!

KY+WS: AHHH!!

Y/n: Then why is the name of this webseries 'The boy who lives next door?'

WS: Something like, the drama's male lead...

WS: Our drama,

WS: Because there are two men as male leads,

WS: The bromance between them became fierce.

WS: Really fierce!

Y/n: But, what do you think you are doing?

WS: Because you like pork belly so much.

WS: You should eat a lot~

Y/n: Why are you two like this today?

Y/n: My heart can't take this!

Y/n: OMG! I spilled the soju!

KY: You should drink slowly~

Y/n: Thank you

Y/n: It was because my hands are shaking.

(wtf are you doing man?)

Y/n: But how did the bromance become so fierce?

WS: That's because...

WS: Ah! It's hot!

WS: Because

WS: The two male leads

WS: Moved next to each other but suddenly have to live together

WS: And they end up taking showers together,

WS: and kissing each other,

Y/n: Oh my~!

WS: It's... a bit... fierce...

WS: The skinship.

Y/n: Omo~ Just my style!

KY: And we also sang the OST together this time.

KY: The singing and rap too.

KY: Hyung is really good at rapping!

WS: I'm not~ What are you talking about?

KY: I think that the timing was perfect and the rap came out really well! What do you think?

KY: Oh you like it????

WS: Yah Yah Yah

WS: Ever since I was little I was really poor

WS: You ate everything?

KY: Yeah.

WS: I'll treat today.

WS: How much is it?

WS: Around 5700won? (that's about 50$)

Are you going to pay?

WS: Yes Yes!

WS: Aish~ Why I can't take this out?!

WS: The thing is, my card...

WS: I can't take my card out of my pocket.

KY: Ah, really...

KY: What are you doing here?

KY: You don't have money with you?

WS: I do!

WS: I do but I can't take my card out!!

KY: Auntie, please use this card.

WS: Ah, really...

WS: Ah, move a bit.

WS: I'll take you back.

WS: Let's go!

Y/n: OMG OMG OMG

Y/n: He grabbed my shoulder.

Y/n: My heart, please don't leave me now.

Y/n: Yeah right, I'm doomed!

WS: Hey!

WS: Yah! Omg, what to do?!

WS: Kiyoung, come here fast!!

WS: COME HERE FAST I SAID!!

WS: Kiyoung ah~

WS: What are we supposed to do now?

( i don't know, call an ambulance maybe??????)

KY: Did she die?

WS: She's dead. She died.

No Resolve - Dancing With Your Ghost [Lyrics] - Duration: 4:38.

What's going on

The look in your eyes tells me there's something wrong

Stay with me, help is on the way

Just try to breathe

Can you hear my voice

Let it guide you through all of the noise

Your lips are blue

I would sell my soul for you to pull through

I've been dancing with your ghost

Some might say that we have stole the show

All the memories that are haunting me

I refuse to let you go

I've been dancing with your ghost

What's going on

I can feel the crowd thinking "Oh my god"

Please just move

Can anyone hear me, let me through

I can see your face, calling your name

Reaching out I can't feel anything

Forever and after I'm always yours

I've been dancing with your ghost

Some might say that we have stole the show

All the memories that are haunting me

I refuse to let you go

I've been dancing with your ghost

Always be waiting

Always be waiting

All the memories, they are haunting me

I've been dancing with your ghost

Some might say that we have stole the show

All the memories that are haunting me

I refuse to let you go

I've been dancing with your ghost
