It is exactly 10 years since Rafa Benitez lured Fernando Torres to Liverpool, and it is a transfer that still resonates to this day.
July 4 may be a date synonymous with America's Declaration of Independence, but it also has a special place in the hearts of Reds supporters.
On that day a decade ago, Torres completed a £20. 2 million move from Atletico Madrid, in a piece of business that reverberated around Europe.

From minute one, it was clear that Liverpool had brought in a striker of the highest calibre, and unlike many imports, there was no bedding-in period.
Torres' goal against Chelsea on his home debut summed him up to perfection: smooth, strong, deceptively quick and clinical. He never looked back.
Spain's World Cup and European Championship winner found the net 33 times in a stunning first season, in which he tormented some of Europe's best defences.
Torres' second campaign, 2008/09, saw him strike up a legendary partnership with Steven Gerrard in attack, before scoring 22 goals in 2009/10.
Everything Torres produced was done with such elegance, and prior to Luis Suarez coming along and stealing his limelight, he was arguably Liverpool's greatest ever foreign acquisition.
Just his presence on the pitch made the Reds a completely different animal, and he was a huge reason for them becoming one of the Champions League's most respected sides in the late 2000s.
Let's not forget that he also made Nemanja Vidic, one of the Premier League's greatest centre-backs, resemble a hungover pub player on several occasions. That's how good Torres was.
Injuries eventually started creeping in, sadly, and in his last 18 months or so with the Reds, he cut a more surly, ineffective figure.
His exit still hurt, though, which is testament to the genius that had been showcased in the years earlier. Legend.
Torres' controversial switch to Chelsea felt like Liverpool had been cheated on, and it took some time for supporters to forgive their former hero.
The 33-year-old's appearance in a charity game at Anfield in 2015 helped heal the wounds, however, and it is important that he remains cherished.
Footballers of Torres' ability don't come around too often at Liverpool, and for a couple of years, they had the world's greatest striker in their ranks.
Whether it be that first goal at home to Chelsea, the stunning Champions Leaguestrike against Arsenal in front of the Kop or the outrageous half-volley against Blackburn Rovers, the Spaniard wowed us with his magic too many times to remember.
The professional, almost understated way in which Liverpool signed Torres should also be used as inspiration for their future dealings in the transfer market, with the move sealed without too much fuss.
There were no public apologies or ongoing sagas, and it was refreshing to see. It was also an incredibly bold move by Benitez, and one that paid off handsomely.
Jurgen Klopp is showing similar ambition this summer, and if he can bring in key targets such as Virgil van Dijk and Naby Keita, Liverpool will go up a gear just like they did with Torres.
Quite how El Nino will be remembered in 20 or 30 years time remains to be seen, but he deserves to be regarded as one of the best strikers ever to grace the Anfield turf.
That decade since his arrival has flown by, but not many Reds in that period have been fit to lace his boots. At his best, he was astonishing.

AUDREY:Sarah non fu vaccinata per il morbillo perché aveva un po' di eczema. Aveva quasi sei anni.
La andai a prendere a scuola nel pomeriggio.
La incontrai all'ingresso con la sua maestra, che mi disse: "Credo che Sarah abbia il morbillo".
Io risposi tranquillamente: "Beh, se non verrà a scuola lunedì saprà il motivo".
Il rash cutaneo apparve domenica mattina e la portammo dal medico per confermare fosse morbillo.
Lui disse: "Mio Dio, è un magnifico caso di morbillo ma non si preoccupi,
starà bene, inizierà a stare meglio quando il rash inizierà a sparire".
Ma davanti al nostro sguardo lei iniziò a peggiorare,
a scivolare per entrare in coma prima che ce ne accorgessimo.
Il suo corpo, letteralmente tutto il suo corpo, fu ricoperto dal morbillo,
così gravemente da arrivare al cervello, restò in coma per otto settimane, sul punto di morire per otto settimane.
KAREN: Ciao... AUDREY: Ciao Karen, ciao Tango!
Inizialmente Sarah era cieca, completamente cieca, non poteva sentire né vedere niente.
Non ricordava nulla della sua malattia.
Fu come avere una bambina diversa da quella che avevamo portato in ospedale.
Attualmente è parzialmente cieca e sorda, ha una ipotonia muscolare che la rende molto debole, flaccida, come una bambola.
A Sarah non piace essere così, sa benissimo di essere diversa dalla sorella,
dalla gente e dagli amici che aveva prima di ammalarsi.
Ne è cosciente e non è contenta, ci chiede continuamente di avere una vista ed un udito nuovi
e quando le diciamo "non è possibile Sarah", risponde: "portatemi in ospedale e fatemi dare occhi e orecchie nuovi".
Non puoi essere indifferente, non puoi permettertelo.
Perché un bambino con un danno cerebrale...
e questo è difficile da affrontare...

this day from some reason I had a completely full cart
and the man that was after me in the queue to the cash
suddenly says
oh come on! you fat cow! can't you do it faster?!
so in this situation
I could reply to him with some rude answer
and I would answer him
and he would answer me back
and I would answer him
and he would answer me back
and I would... and he would...
and in the end I would end up swallowing my tears
and being with a crappy mood for the rest of the day
because of this incident
but instead
I chose to minimize my ego
and I replied to him with a calm pleasent voice
I'm sorry I'm holding you back
I will try to do it as fast as I can
and this is it
and here the story ended
minimizing my ego means
understanding
that not everything that happens around me
is about me
if this rude man
told this thing to me
does it say anything about me?
absolutely not!
it says only about him
maybe it says
that I reminded him his mother in law
that he cannot stand
maybe it says
that he has a pregnant wife
waiting for him aoutside in the car
and he is all stressed out and in a rush
maybe he is just a rude person
and this is his way of speaking
but it says absolutely nothing about me
so minimizing the ego
is understanding this
and by this understanding
you learn how not to be offended
by this kind of situations
and avoid a very unnecessary conflict
that in the end
will just make you feel much worse
than if you would just restrain
basically
it's a totally winning strategy
to live by
minimize your ego
restrain, and you will only win
think about it

It was just a group of around 50 people

This made me so proud of myself
What I'm going to do this morning, I'm going to teach you about STI's
I've really gained courage and strength to tell about my status wherever I am, and to whoever I meet

My mother used to live in Dubai, that's where she used to work
She came back to Uganda for treatment
We were always in hospital
My mother's condition worsened, as in got to the worst

I was so shocked
At least I was with her for sometime
Around 6 a.m. I lost my Mother on the 19th November 2013
I thought I'd never get married

I thought HIV positive people never give birth
And I thought HIV positive people never become happy
Link Up is a project I got an opportunity to be part of
It was so wow, because we had been trained on how to do different things
Condom distribution, peer to peer counselling
Collecting data,
I was so much involved in almost everything
Me as peer educator, I know I am helping others
I have been able to help someone who had failed on treatment
She was so tiny, but she is now as fat as I am
I told my boyfriend how to use a condom
I got knowledge and gave him the same knowledge to use while with me
And he is perfect
Link Up will be closing up and ending
Tomorrow we shall be receiving our certificates as peer educators
I'm happy that I am receiving a certificate, but I am sad that it has come to an end
There will be no-one to provide us with the services to provide to the youth
It's because of Link Up that at least most of the youth in Uganda here are moving on
I thought after my Mum's death I was really going to be nothing. I thought I would die anytime
I just used to sit alone, far from others
I could only talk to the doctor
Because of Link Up, I just gained strength of having friends, having fun
You find some people, they don't like themselves
Someone is HIV positive and she is like, 'I don't like myself', 'I don't like my status'
But it's you!
Me, I really love myself
I really love the positiveness in me
I really love to live a positive life
