Youtube daily report Jun 2 2018

Hi. Welcome to engVid.

I'm Adam.

In today's video we're going to look at phrasal verbs.

Well, one phrasal verb in particular using the verb "break".

So, again, just to refresh our memories: A phrasal verb is a verb and a preposition that

when put together sometimes have completely different meanings than the two words, and

sometimes they have multiple meanings.

So we're going to start with: "break".

First of all: "break" means to basically make somebody whole not whole.

So you can break your bone, means it's, like, snap in half, or you break your glass.

You drop the glass on the floor and it breaks, it comes into pieces, so that's what "break"

means.

And most of these words you can a little bit guess their meanings, some of them you will

not guess at all.

We're going to start with "break out".

Okay, "break out" has a few meanings, and we have the noun "breakout".

Okay?

"To break out", so the first meaning we're going to look at is a rash, r-a-s-h.

Actually I'll write this down for you.

If you break out in a rash, it basically means you ate something that you're allergic to.

So, some people, for example, are allergic to chocolate.

So they eat a piece of chocolate, or...

By accident and suddenly on their skin they see little, red dots everywhere.

Okay?

That is called a rash.

It's itchy, it's not very pretty, but it's an allergic reaction.

So you break out in a rash, usually.

Okay?

That's one.

The same thing, on the same idea, when we talk about a disease.

So, a disease or a virus, for example, starts somewhere and then it just breaks out.

It spreads.

So: "to break out" means to spread.

So, some diseases, like for example, SARS, I don't know if everybody remembers that disease,

it started in one little place, and then it suddenly broke out and travelled all over

the world, and it was an epidemic, and everybody was really scared.

Another meaning of "break out" and similar to the idea of spread, when we talk about

artists, especially like actors or musicians, they break out, it means they suddenly become

very popular or very famous.

So, some singers or some bands, they make an album, for example.

And, you know, the sales are so-so and not that many people hear about them.

Then their next album, so-so, maybe a little bit better, maybe not.

Their third album suddenly they break out, suddenly everybody knows who they are, they're

very famous, everybody's buying their album, so we also call this their "breakout album".

That's the album that spread their name and made them famous.

Okay?

And lastly: "to break out" means to escape.

So if you break out of jail, that means you escape from jail.

So a little bit like, you know, you have...

You're handcuffed or you have that ball with a chain on your leg, so you break it and you

get out, so you escape.

You break out of jail.

So that's "break out".

"Break in", a few meanings.

One, and again, "break-in" is a noun with the hyphen.

"To break in" basically means to enter illegally and using force.

So, if someone has a break in in their house, means that the burglar broke the lock or the

window, or whatever and came in and stole their things.

So: "to break in" means to enter forcefully.

Usually we use it with "break into", you break into someone's house, you break into the office,

etc.

But "break into" has another meaning, we'll get to that.

So that's "break in".

Another meaning of "break in": "to break in" means to make something basically more suited

to your style, to your comfort.

Okay?

So think about jeans.

When you buy your first pair of jeans or when you buy a new pair of jeans, I should say,

they're a little bit stiff.

You know?

They're not that comfortable, you're not sitting too well in them, so you do a few squats.

Okay?

Or you do some stretches, or you put it in the laundry, and after a few washes, it becomes

a little bit softer, a little bit more flexible, so now your jeans are broken in.

You've broken in your jeans.

If you take a baseball glove-okay?-this is a very common thing that you need to break

in.

When you buy a new baseball glove it's very stiff, so if somebody throws you the ball,

you can't catch it because you can't close the glove.

So, what do you do?

You take some oil, you put it inside the glove, take a baseball, put it in, close it tight,

tie it with some rope, put it on the street, drive over it with your car, slip it under

your bed and sleep on it for a few days.

After a few days it's nice, and soft, and very flexible and you can catch the ball.

So, that's how you break in a baseball glove.

You can also break in a person in the same way.

Somebody new comes to your office to work in your company, but, you know, they don't

really know everything about the office, they don't know the company culture, they don't

really know anybody, they don't have friends.

So you help break them in, you show them how everything works, you introduce them to other

people in the company, and soon enough they're comfortable, they're working like everybody

else.

"Break up", I think everybody knows this one.

You break up with your boyfriend, you break up with your girlfriend.

Okay?

And you go through a "break-up", basically means you go through the process of separating,

splitting up.

Okay?

"Break up" can also mean to separate into smaller pieces.

So if you think about a big company, a conglomerate...

This is a good word to know.

A "conglomerate" is a huge company that actually owns a lot of smaller companies.

Okay?

In Asia you have a lot of these conglomerates, they're huge.

But let's say you want...

You're the owner of one of these conglomerates and you want to split it up, you want to make

some money, or you don't want all the work, you want to relax a little bit, so you break

up the company into pieces, and then sell each one individually, make tons of money.

You can break up anything into smaller pieces that are easier to handle.

Okay, sometimes we talk about TV.

You're watching TV or even on Skype if you're on the internet and the connection is not

good, like somebody freezes and whatever, so they're not...

It's not a very good connection, so you can say to somebody: "Oh, you're breaking up."

The connection is breaking, it's not smooth and flowing.

Okay?

So that's another very common use of "break up".

"Break off" basically means to separate a piece from something else, to make not whole.

So if there's a tree and it's hanging over your driveway, and it's, like...

The leaves are falling on your car, you go to the tree, you grab the branch and you just

break it off, and it's no more branch, no more leaves, no more problem.

Okay?

You can also break off, means like interrupt, especially when we're talking about speech.

So I'm talking to somebody and then I hear a large crash, so I...

In the middle of the speech I break off the speech to go deal with that.

Right?

So you interrupt something, especially speech when we're using that.

Now, I want to be careful with "for".

Technically, when you "break for lunch", for example, or "brake for a child on the street",

the "for" goes with the object, not with the "break".

It's not a phrasal verb.

So: "break for lunch" means take a break.

Why?

For lunch, because you're going to go have lunch.

So be careful.

This is not a phrasal verb, so I put it in brackets.

Okay?

Let's go to this side: "break down", a few meanings here as well.

If something breaks down, it means it stops working.

So when you...

Especially when we're talking about machines, a machine breaks down or your car broke down,

it means it stopped working, there was a problem with it, you probably need to fix it.

When you want to analyze something...

Let's say you have a problem and it's a pretty big problem and you can't deal with it because...

Because it's too big, so you break it down.

You separate it into smaller pieces, and then you analyze each piece by itself, so that

way you can fix the whole problem.

This is what scientists do.

They have a problem, they break it down into individual parts, they assess each one, they

fix the problem altogether.

Now, when we talk about a "breakdown", again, it's the situation of something not working.

The most common use is when we talk about, like, a mental breakdown.

If someone has a mental breakdown, it means their brain, not stopped working because,

you know, they're still alive, they can still do things, but emotionally they just can't

do anything; they can't go to work, they can't talk to people, they just don't know what

to do with their lives, they're very distressed, very depressed, etc., so they have a mental

breakdown.

Maybe they go to a doctor, they fix it, they get back on their feet and go on.

So: "break into" I mentioned, you can break into something, means enter it forcefully,

but you can also break into an industry.

Okay, so let's say I'm a photographer and I want to make money...

Make a career as a photographer, so I take a lot of pictures, but nobody's really interested,

nobody's really buying.

So finally I go to one magazine and I show my portfolio, and they say: "Wow, this is

really good stuff.

Okay, come work for us."

So now I've basically entered this industry, the photography industry, I've broken in,

I have my start, and now I can build my career from that point on.

So it's still enter, but it's not a physical place and it's not forcibly.

Okay?

It's an industry, it's an idea.

"Break away", so "break away" means to separate from a group.

Okay?

So, in sports especially you see this, you have a lot of, like, basketball players, everybody

is in this area trying to get the ball, and then one guy steals the ball and he runs.

And he's over here, and the rest of the players are all over there.

So he's on a breakaway, and then he goes and slam dunks, does whatever he wants, because

nobody's around him.

He has separated himself from the group, he has broken away.

This is also what happens in politics, especially when you talk about "breakaway" as an adjective.

Okay?

So, the sports player goes on a "breakaway", but a political group, we talk about a "breakaway

party".

So let's say you have...

Okay, let's look at America, for example.

In the United States you have the Republican Party, and then you have the breakaway party

called the Tea Party.

So, the Tea Party used to be...

Are people from the Republicans who decided to go their own way and separate from the

main Republican group.

Okay?

So that's "break away".

And "breakeven".

"Breakeven" basically means not gain...

Not gain, not loss.

So, when you reach a "breakeven point" it means you're at neutral.

If you invest some money, you invested $10,000 and after a year, you know, you're in stocks

and your stocks went down, your stocks went up, but after a year you're at breakeven.

That means you didn't make any money, you didn't lose any money, although you technically

did because of inflation and all that stuff, but that's a whole other lesson.

So: "breakeven".

Now, if you have any questions about any of these phrasal verbs-I hope they were pretty

clear-please go to www.engvid.com, there's a forum, you can ask me questions there.

There's also a quiz where you can practice using all of these in sentences.

And I hope you like this lesson.

Ingraham: "Professors are losing their FREEDOM of EXPRESSION - Duration: 19:13.

you may be the only presidential candidate since World War two that

actually had to stand up and say I am a capitalist and you did did it hurt you

probably I mean you know it's it's it's hard to know but I mean if you're in the

Iowa caucuses and 41% of Democrats are socialists or self-described socialist

and I'm asked are you a capitalist and I say yes but with appropriate regulation

and appropriate accountability you know that that probably gets lost and though

my gosh she's a couple less all right been like one sentence I mean she

actually told the truth good for Hillary she finally stumbled across something

that is true and she said it Democrats are tending toward socialism what can

you say up next Michelle Malkin exposes the sinister political groups

masquerading as nonprofits that are trying to silence conservatives and

Brent Bozell reveals the tactics that tech giants are using to censor

conservative speech online

champion of free speech particularly online where she's a pioneering

entrepreneur well tonight she's gonna shed light on the dark forces behind

organized efforts to silence conservatives Michele Malcolm welcome

back to the angle great to see you I think it's so important Michele for the

people watching Fox tonight to see and understand what this all is really all

about and I want to start with George Soros George Soros has funded left-wing

groups as you've pointed out the Center for American Progress I think we have a

graphic can we see it please the color of change people for the American Way

Media Matters Action Network connected with Media Matters there we have all

those organizations tell us Michelle which are the worst offenders and

enemies of free thought free expression well Media Matters has been at the

forefront of the speech squelches who are highly organized incredibly

disciplined and obviously deeply funded not only by George Soros but a number of

left-wing foundations and I think it's really important to note that so many of

these outfits are tax-exempt that they enjoy so much

largesse as a result of IRS laws and that under Democratic administrations

the definitions of 501 C 3 s and C 4 s have been stretched so that these

blatantly partisan political organizations have cast themselves as

somehow educational or social welfare groups so you have Media Matters that's

gone after every prominent conservative effective voice in the public square and

they'll use any pretext these people do this for full-time living and as a

result it is undeniable Laura and you and I have been fought in this arena for

so many years now in both talk radio on broadcast and yes on social media where

it has been so important for independent conservative voices to get their

messages out and we need oh that that the encroachment of these

sensors and these bullies in the public square has left a an undeniable cloud

over the First Amendment and free expression and Mishelle people say well

this is all this is all the free marketplace of ideas and you know

everyone else is you know if they want to complain about someone who said

something they do that and that's part of the democratic process too and so

each side has their own opinions and one side wants to you know you know whatever

they doing they have these corporations that just wilt though they just wilt

they get a hundred emails from some left-wing activists and they will

meanwhile millions of conservatives like are you kidding me

it makes no sense yeah and in some cases the supposed backlash that that elicits

this feckless response from corporations that just don't want any bad publicity

sometimes constitutes a couple of tweets right and so then you have the Media

Matters and color of changes of the world that exploit their social justice

status I mean they have an absolute immunity shield to go after

conservatives for expressing mainstream thought and opinion and that what people

need to know about the agenda the agenda of these left-wing character assassins

is toward an arjun alive for mainstream thought the media Research Center

released a devastating report today documenting the censorship of

conservative speech by Silicon Valley's tolerant tech giants among the findings

claims from former employees that Facebook hides conservative content from

the trending section were backed up by a detailed study Google YouTube and

Twitter partner with leftist groups like the Southern Poverty Law Center I hate

conservatives and check this out of the 25 members on the panel that guides

Twitter's policies twelve are liberals and there's only one conservative I

can't believe there's one shocking bill but not surprising is it for more

details we're joined by brent bozell founder of the very important

indispensable media research center Brandt first of all it's great to have

you first it's on the show man oh yeah where have

you been tell us what you found what's a massive study done by my

colleagues Dan Gainor and Ashley Goldenberg it's 50 pages

documenting what what conservatives have been suggesting has been happening this

is Michelle's hyperbolic but Laura this is true this is the emerging the the

greatest censorship of free speech worldwide in the history of man and let

me explain this the left is on a jihad against conservative thought is

happening in academia in entertainment and business religion everywhere

everywhere where they're attacking they're suppressing conservative fuck

now they're going to the social media Giants these social media Giants have

audiences in the billions and what we've shown in this massive report is whether

it's Facebook or Twitter or Google or YouTube they're all employing different

tactics to go against conservative let's go through some of them we have a full

screen on this censorship of conservative speech here's some examples

Google search aids Democrats and study found that 2016 campaign searches were

biased in favor of Hillary Hillary Clinton YouTube shutting down

conservative channels by mistake by removing videos that promote right-wing

political views and tech companies Facebook and Google are relying on anti

conservative fact checkers like Snopes and Wikipedia

now why is Wikipedia for our viewers out there why is that a left-wing well if

you if you look at so many things Wikipedia does it puts a liberal spin

against conservatives on a regular basis we always have to edit my page it just

insert insert inside nasty stuff about you know they have been they've actually

they've been partnering YouTube has been partnering with them to unmask

conservatives and to go against conservative content and to uncover

these awful conservatives and what they're doing you say that war is being

declared and the conservative movement and conservatives are losing badly if

the right is silenced billions of people will be cut off from conservative ideals

it goes on but we'll just stop it there that's really true isn't it because even

though the Soviets suppress speech China suppresses speech we're talking about in

effect a global effort to suppress or silenced conservatives I mean you've

seen well you know the nonsense that's happened to shows like mine they try to

do it with Rush and others this is what they do

they don't want to debate because they're losing on the substance are they

not they want to silence but with the power of high tech Brent what can we the

consumers of information and and others watching what can they do well the first

thing you have to do is recognize what is going on right now you know Jack

Dorsey is a CEO of Twitter he put these seasoned industry perspective just

recently he was promoted he promoted an article that called for the destruction

of the conservative movement promoted and he related so it's not it's not just

happening it's it's all over the world that the left is militant conservatives

have to recognize this and conservatives have to start looking for new homes our

own platforms I think that hold them accountable but mark sorry on yours of

conservative leads if they could if they leave the business model for these

social media Giants come use your power with businesses high-tech everybody

resolutions that your audience is up 20% ever since they went after you well you

know we there's always a glass half full here on the in on the Ingraham angle

Brent thank you we're gonna we're gonna link this up on my Facebook page

everybody needs to read it and support the efforts that you're doing I don't

know what would do with it without media Research Center frankly thank you so

much still to come the tactics universities across the country used to

suppress free speech and the plight of professors caught in the PC machine

well when he did it we what what is your take on the the lack of just basic

understanding of whether it's the Constitution or just basic recent

American history it is a constant demonization of Trump or the propaganda

machine on college campuses for like 50 grand a year a lot of these place yeah

well that's the real tragic part is these are students who are going to

school allegedly to get an education become well-rounded and instead they're

not learning critical thinking skills they're not learning how to defend their

ideas they're just being fed this pablum of leftist ideology and so what you see

here is these students who don't know why they may support or oppose this

policy all they know is if Trump supports that it must be bad whereas if

you had asked it the other way around if Obama had supported it you know they'd

say it was the greatest thing since sliced bread yes so that was at UC Santa

Barbara and so well you didn't show in this video is before they didn't know

that Obama said the troops to the border so they kind of like had to back into

that oh well when he did it it was necessary it's just it's classic this is

classic uninformed god bless them uninformed college students who learn it

for the first time from some radical professor radical history professor then

at GW University right nearby where we are the Democrats some of the College

Democrats are not participating in some type of bipartisan discussion summit

last week they don't want to be bipartisan well it looks like basically

the leftists are showing their true colors and that is they don't want a

dialogue they don't want the free and open exchange of ideas because they know

when that happens the best ideas rise to the top and the flawed ideas the

left-side ia's will fall off and so what you see here is basically their goal is

to allow a situation only where leftist ideas are heard because they know in

conservative policies and solutions are offered those are going to define right

they don't have a side of a debate I've never seen anything like it they are the

most the pusillanimous they're petrified and they by the way they said some

members of the current executive board have hesitations about participating in

events with conservative orgs they're scared petrified by Bach that's all I'll

say Spencer great to see you thanks for the update conservative speech is under

assault and one of the starkest examples is at Marquette University it's a

private Catholic school in Milwaukee political science professor John McAdams

was suspended and has since 2014 when he chastised a graduate

instructor named Cheryl Abbate why she apparently told a student that she would

not tolerate dissent on the topic of same-sex marriage during her class on

ethics Marquette says it has the legal right to suspend McAdams because he

opened a bought a up to threats by criticizing her by name the case is now

headed to Wisconsin Supreme Court joining us now to explain further is

Professor McAdams himself professor you have taught for 30 years at Marquette

and it's a Catholic institution and yet this instructor berated a student who

said basically not all of us agree on your view on same-sex marriage tell us

that's right it seemed ironic because Marquette

claims to be a Catholic institution but I think a lot of your viewers know that

a lot of institutions claim to be Catholic and fundamentally they're

secular and politically correct didn't they demand that you prostrate yourself

basically and apologize for this suppose at wrongdoing in your blog post we said

we're you know we're basically hardly a university if this is what we're like if

we don't tolerate any dissent and you refused is that right to apologize sir

that's correct they told me that they would reinstate me if I apologized and

promised to conform to Marquette's supposed guiding values promise to do

that of course I think I've I think I'm more loyal to

Marquette's guiding values than the administration of Marquette University

but of course this is Stalinist stuff I'm not going to apologize a hundred and

thirty years I have passed and if less our research is wrong that a single

professor has lost tenure 130 years but boy I guess you're a big threat

professor because you actually decided to post a blog yeah it is ironic I mean

professors have lost tenure but it had to be for something alike of stealing

money from research funds or or raping student it had to be something like that

no professor that anyone knows about has ever been fired or even suspended for a

blog post do you feel bad about I guess hurting the feelings of this

particular student instructor I guess she got a deal on her tuition well I

think it's unfortunate that she got some really nasty emails although she got no

threats marchetti's claims she got threats but she admitted and one of her

own blog post that she'd got on threats so there so that wasn't good on the

other hand anybody whose misconduct is revealed by a journalist might get some

unkind responses that's for sure professor I've been I've been the

receiving end of that we're gonna follow your case I know the arguments coming up

in just about ten days or so and thank you so much for giving us your

perspective on this fight at Marquette tonight we talked to former Syracuse

professor Stewart card who says he was fired for defending free speech on

campus card says he was fired after he privately disagreed with the school's

expulsion of students for their crude skits at a fraternity roast let's find

out exactly what happened from the professor himself Stewart card

welcome to the angle professor look my producer watched the video the

fraternity video I guess it was an internal video it wasn't posted on

social media and it was gross to me that was I don't know why people make these

videos it was gross and it's profane and so forth they say it was a satire

actually ridiculing a conservative who apparently was you know a bad person

even racist and so forth you wrote a statement an email to the administration

and you said the following I strongly believe that reinforcing the current

myth that individuals are likely to be damaged by exposure to expressions that

they find offensive and let's require pampering is a disservice to our

students in our profession I know my view on this is out of sync with current

opinion but I was toughened as a youth not just by emotional billing bullying

but by physical beatings by much older and larger students I survived

I got stir I mean that's and then you're separated

from the University for that well I have to say this isn't really about Syracuse

University I love Syracuse University and the good people there who are doing

what they assume and feel is right this is really about ideas not specific

institutions or individuals it's about the ideas of free speech and reason

versus some dangerous irrational myths that have swept the campuses around the

country I don't know whether I was really fired or I quit we might say that

the University and I reached a mutual agreement that the beliefs and values of

the university are no longer the beliefs and values you don't know if that's cute

you don't know if you quit or you are you fired I mean was there some type of

lease they made you sign did they delay no no they didn't okay well he said when

I said that email I concluded it with my if my position on this is so

objectionable as to render me disqualified from further service to our

students then put me on a list of don't use me as an educator and heed your

values or not you were fired because you wrote that email saying I'm concerned

that we're coddling students coddling them and trying to protect them from all

these offensive ideas is not going to help anyone it's not going to Vance the

cause of learning and that was the thing that they ultimately said yeah you're

right we don't want someone like you at our university you know and I know

you're protective of Syracuse that's nice but the atmosphere on college

campuses today on a scale of one to ten one being the most Pro free speech and

ten being the least Pro free speech where do you rate it I'll give it an

eight but I'm shooting from the hip because I hadn't thought about that

number before another one of these myths that I'm talking about is this myth

that's really prevalent not just on the SU campus but on other campuses that

I've been to that all educated intelligent good people think pretty

much the same on certain key issues where the correct answer is obvious and

obviously it's amiss we'll be right back with some

final thoughts

you

B-Roll Gear Tips | Basic Equipment For B Roll Footage Shoots - Duration: 4:16.

What's up guys Chris Ford here and I'm out in the field shooting b-roll so I wanted to

show you what my setup was like and what I bring with me.

First off.

I've got my Panasonic HC-X1

It's the camera I use to get most of my b-roll

I've got a nice tripod rig for that and

sometimes I'll bring the tripod with me while I'm shooting

and other times I'll leave it in the car just in case I need it

but you always want to have it on hand.

On top of the camera I've got a Rode directional mic

And that's better than the internal mic on the camera

It's great for picking up nature sounds around you

and it could be good for an interview in a pinch inside the camera

We've got a fully charged battery and a completely empty 128 gigabyte memory card

This is kind of the minimum and you'll always want to have backups with you for that

and since you have so much equipment and it's really important that

you keep it charged you always want to bring all the battery chargers as well

The other piece of equipment that's crucial is your cell phone fully charged

and if you need to bring in USB charger do that.

Because the phone gives you access to maps so you know where you're going.

You can search online for different places you might want to shoot

You can use a time lapse calculator.

You can use the clock function.

And you can troubleshoot your camera if you have any problems in the field by Googling

or YouTubing it

The other thing I like to carry with me at all times is a b-roll bag

It's light, it's easy to carry, it doesn't get on the way

And it keeps some equipment that I might need while I'm out on the shoot.

First off I like to bring my DSLR camera and one or two lenses

just in case there's another kind of video I want to

shoot or if I want to take a really high-quality photograph.

The bag also will be where you keep your backup battery fully charged.

A backup memory card fully empty at least one.

You might want to bring a bunch of them.

I bring an ND filter kit because I have to use it sometimes for time lapse.

I bring a flat-head screwdriver just in case I needed to unscrew the plate on the camera.

I also bring this microphone and even though you're shooting b-roll and you're just getting

footage,

you might run into an interview along the way or

somebody might pop up that you didn't know is gonna be there,

or you might have to get on camera.

And you always want to have some kind of professional looking sound device

that gets clear audio clearer than your directional mic

and always carry microfiber cloth in

your bag in your pocket and use that to

wipe off the lens not your shirt.

And another piece of advice I don't find in other YouTube videos:

Before you go on a shoot eat a meal, bring snacks if you need them.

And always bring water.

Carrying around a camera all day especially in the sun is just Brutal,

And what happens is

after a few hours you start to get tired

you start to get hungry and if you don't have food or food in your system

You're gonna want to go home early and you might miss out

on some video that you would have had if you had more energy.

Your equipment that you bring with you

on your b-roll shoots might be different.

You might have different items in your bag.

But I've also got a second bag with me and that is my trunk bag.

My trunk bag is kind of an emergency bag in case I need something

that you're not gonna use on a regular basis.

Inside my trunk bag I've got my laptop with my charger and

there's so many times when I have to stop at a Panera Bread or a Starbucks

and use my computer to do a bunch of different things including

clearing off the memory card.

This is also where you're gonna keep all your charging

equipment for your camera for your phone.

You can keep other things in there like

this light I bring, I've got a hard drive

in case my hard drive gets full

I've got some different lens cleaning items in here

as well pretty much anything that you don't need to carry with you

But you might need in case of emergency keep in

this bag and leave it in your trunk

It may seem like a lot of stuff but it's

really essential that you have this with you.

It'll make sure your shoots never run short.

It'll make sure you've always got power.

It'll make sure you've always got memory space.

And it's just really great idea to keep this around

when you go on your b-roll shoots.

So that's it that's how I shoot my b-roll.

Let me know in the comments if there's anything that I

should be bringing that I forgot any other ideas that

have check out some of our other HD-X1 videos and

don't forget to Like and subscribe.

Libertarian Becomes First Openly Pedophile Candidate - Duration: 14:25.

A CONGRESSIONAL CANDIDATE FROM THE STATE OF

VIRGINIA HAS OPENLY ADMITTED THAT HE WAS RUNNING WEBSITES

THAT SUPPORTED THE NOTION OF LEGALIZING PEDOPHILIA, RAPING

WIVES AND ALL SORTS OF THINGS THAT YOU WOULD NOT IMAGINE

SOMEONE WOULD PUBLICLY SUPPORT.

HIS NAME IS NATHAN LARSON AND I

AM GOING TO GIVE YOU SOME OF THE DETAILS AVOID HE INCLUDED, WHAT

HE HIMSELF CONTRIBUTED TO THESE WEBSITES.

WHEN I READ TO SOME OF THE THINGS THAT HE HIMSELF IT POSTED

ON THIS WEBSITE UNDERSTAND THAT HE SAYS THAT THERE IS A GRAIN OF

TRUTH TO WHAT HE IS WRITING EVEN IF IT SOUNDS LIKE IT IS

OVER-THE-TOP OR EVEN IF IT IS OVER-THE-TOP.

THESE WEBSITES

HAVE BEEN TAKEN DOWN AND HUFFINGTON POST BROKE THE STORY

AND THEY INVESTIGATED THOSE WEBSITES AND TIED IT BACK TO

THIS CONGRESSIONAL CANDIDATE.

I AM GOING TO GIVE YOU SOME OF THE

OTHER DISCUSSING THINGS THAT WE HAVE LEARNED.

HE TOLD THE

HUFFINGTON POST:

HE IS THINKING OF HIMSELF AS THIS ANTIESTABLISHMENT CANDIDATE

THAT MOST PEOPLE OR A LOT OF PEOPLE CAN RELATE TO BUT THEY

ARE TOO AFRAID TO REPRESENT THEMSELVES IN THIS WAY OUT IN

THE OPEN.

HE

ALSO BELIEVES ADOLF HITLER WAS A HERO.

DOES HE REPRESENT ALL RIGHT-WINGERS?

OF COURSE NOT AND HE IS RUNNING AT AS AN INDEPENDENT ALTHOUGH

OBVIOUSLY VERY RIGHT WING AND HE DOES NOT REPRESENT ALL

REPUBLICANS EITHER BUT UNFORTUNATELY, THIS ERA HAS

GIVEN PERMISSION FOR SOME PEOPLE TO DO AND SAY OUTRAGEOUS THINGS.

HE SAID A LOT OF PEOPLE WHO DISAGREED WITH SOMEONE LIKE JOHN

MIGHT BOTH OF THEM ANYWAY JUST BECAUSE THE ESTABLISHMENT

DOESN'T LIKE THEM SO THAT IS HIS PLAN.

HE IS LIKE I'M NOT GOING

TO BE POLITICALLY CORRECT.

I'M GOING TO TELL YOU THAT I WANT TO

HAVE SEX WITH CHILDREN AND YOU GUYS VOTED FOR TRUMP BECAUSE YOU

HATED THE ESTABLISHMENT SO MUCH TO GIVE MAY VOTE FOR ME.

THAT

IS WHAT HE IS ACHING.

ALL OF THE THINGS THAT ANA SAID, IT CAN GET WORSE RIGHT?

IT GETS WORSE.

HE IS IN FAVOR OF CHILD RAPE AND HE THINKS THAT YOU SHOULD

ADOPT KIDS SO THAT YOU CAN RAPE THEM.

THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT HE SAID AND THESE ARE QUOTES THAT HE

GAVE TO HUFFINGTON POST.

THEY WERE INTERVIEWING HIM AND THESE

ARE THINGS HE SAID.

AT ONE POINT, HE COMPARES WOMEN

INTO ANIMALS LITERALLY AND HE

SAYS SOMETHING ABOUT HOW WOMEN STILL HAVE IT BETTER THAN

ANIMALS BECAUSE AT LEAST THEY GET TO PROCREATE DUCK.

HE SAID WOMEN ARE OBJECTS TO BE TAKEN CARE OF BY MEN LIKE ANY

OTHER PROPERTY.

FEMALE SEX SLAVES ACTUALLY GET A MUCH

BETTER DEAL THAN ANIMALS BECAUSE IN MOST CASES THEY ARE ALLOWED

TO REPRODUCE UNLIKE ANIMALS RAISED FOR ME OR COMPANIONSHIP.

THAT IS ALSO PART OF A LARGER SYMPTOM HERE.

HE IS THE MOST

EXTREME END OF IT, I GET THAT NOT EVERYBODY, NOT EVEN ALL OF

THE INCELS THINK LIKE THIS AND THEY HAVE THEIR OWN ISSUES

OBVIOUSLY, BUT WE LIVE IN AN ERA WHERE HE FEELS EMPOWERED TO PUT

THIS OUT THERE AND THINKS I HAVE A SHOT BECAUSE THERE ARE A LOT

OF PEOPLE WHO DO AGREE WITH ME AND HAVE NOW COME OUT OF THE

CLOSET.

HE SAYS WHY DOESN'T EVERY PETO JUST FOCUS ON MAKING

MONEY SO THEY CAN GET A PEDO WIFE AND EITHER IMPREGNATE HER

WITH SOME F-TOYS, OR ADOPT SOME.

THAT IS WHAT HE CALLS KIDS.

THE ADOPTION PROCESS LETS YOU PICK A BOY OR A GIRL.

IF ALL OF THAT WASN'T BAD ENOUGH, HE HAS A THREE-YEAR-OLD

DAUGHTER.

SOMETHING THAT YOU SAID THAT I THINK IS SO IMPORTANT IS KEEP A

COMFORTABLE SAYING THE STUFF OUT LOUD AND WHERE DOES THAT COME

FROM?

THIS STARTED WITH WE HAVE A PRESIDENT WHO FELT COMFORTABLE

MIC-ED UP SAYING THAT HE LIKES TO GRAB WOMEN BY THEIR VAGINA

AND

A LOT OF PEOPLE TOOK IT AS IT IS A JOKE.

IN ALABAMA, THERE WERE

SOME OF THE PEOPLE SAYING 14-YEAR-OLDS WERE PROBABLY

ASKING FOR IT OR BEING FLIRTATIOUS OR FAST.

OF COURSE

YOU CANNOT SAY THIS IS THE SAME BUT IT IS ALL BAD AND HE

FELT, THIS IS NOT THE WORST THING ISN'T GOING TO HAPPEN

TO HIM IF HE SAID THIS OUT LOUD.

NOT ONLY THAT, HE THINKS IT IS ACTUALLY SMART POLITICAL

STRATEGY.

IT WORKS FOR TRUMP, WHY WOULDN'T IT WORK FOR ME?

ALL OF A SUDDEN ALL OF THESE DEMONS AND TERRIBLE PEOPLE THINK

IT IS AWESOME TO COME OUT AND SHOW THE WORLD WHO THEY REALLY

ARE, I GUESS I IS A GOOD THING IN TERMS OF TRANSPARENCY.

AT LEAST WE KNOW WHO IS DANGEROUS AND WHO WE SHOULD

LOOK OUT FOR BUT AT THE SAME TIME, IT IS REALLY

DEPRESSING TO KNOW THAT THIS KIND OF THOUGHT PROCESS

GOES THROUGH ANYONE'S MIND.

AND THE FACT THAT THIS IS BEING INTERPRETED AS A TACTIC,

NOT JUST A TACTIC BUT INTERPRETED AS BEHAVIOR WHEREIN

PEOPLE ARE TRUTH TELLING AND WE ARE THE FEARLESS TRUTH TELLERS,

LIKE TRUMP WAS THE FEARLESS TRUTH TELLER SO THAT IS THE MOST

DISHEARTENING THING ABOUT THE STORY, THERE ARE SO MANY.

I WAS

TELLING CENK, I DID NOT WANT TO KNOW SO MUCH ABOUT THE

LINGO AND THE CULTURE IN THE CONVERSATION WITHIN THIS PEDO

AND INCEL COMMUNITY.

I WILL BRING UP SOME GOOD THINGS, HE IS

NOT GOING TO WIN.

HE HAS JUDGED UP SOME OF THE SEWAGE IN OUR

NATION AND THE SECOND THING WHICH I WAS REALLY PROUD OF THE

USA TODAY, WE KNOCK A LOT OF MAINSTREAM PUBLICATION,

THEY OUTRIGHT CALLED MY PEDOPHILE AND WHITE

SUPREMACIST SO THANKFULLY WE ARE NAMING IN SOME REGARD.

THAT WAS REALLY BRAVE OF THEM TO DO.

FOR SURE, I WAS SURPRISED.

THE LAST THING I WILL SAY THOUGH

IS THAT THIS IS PART OF A PHILOSOPHY INFLUENCED BY AYN

RAND TO WRITE THIS IDEA OF SELFISH DESIRES GUIDING YOUR

POLITICS.

I KNOW I AM OVERSIMPLIFYING IT SO FOLKS WHO ARE LIBERTARIANS,

I'M

NOT SAYING YOU ALL THINK THIS WAY BUT THE ONES WHO ARE

MOTIVATED BY

THESE REALLY GRUESOME DESIRES OF RAPE AND CONDITIONING IT AS IF

IT IS NORMAL, AS IF THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT, AS IF

THERE IS A COMMUNITY SO IT IS OKAY, JUSTIFIABLE, THAT SORT OF

STUFF DOES COME FROM THIS WOMAN'S LITERATURE AND THE

REVIVAL AROUND AND ALSO THINK JOHN OLLIVER FOR TALKING ABOUT

HOW GRUESOME THE KIND OF POLITICAL PHILOSOPHIES AND

THAT HER BOOKS HAVE PRODUCED.

A COUPLE OF THINGS.

THE INCEL COMMUNITY IS DIFFERENT

FROM THE PEDO.

I DIDN'T KNOW THERE IS AN OVERLAP AND APPARENTLY

THERE IS IN SOME AREAS.

SHOCKER.

I KNOW.

IF YOU HAVE NOT HAD SEX AND YOU ARE BUMMED ABOUT IT,

WELCOME TO THE WORLD.

THAT HAPPENS FOR LITERALLY ALMOST

EVERY GUY IN THE WORLD AT SOME POINT.

IT IS ANOTHER THING TO

TAKE THAT TO AN EXTREME AND PEOPLE READ THESE BLOGS,

PARTICIPATED, AND HIS BLOGS WITH THAT CROSSOVER OF INSANITY.

HE

TALKED ABOUT RAPING THE KIDS AND PEOPLE WERE LIKE GO GET THEM,

ETC.

AT THE END HE IS LIKE, I AM KIND OF AN INCEL BUT IT DOESN'T

COUNT BECAUSE I RAPE MY WIFE.

HIS EX-WIFE EVENTUALLY GOT A

PROTECTIVE ORDER AGAINST HIM AND DON'T WORRY THEY TOOK HIS

DAUGHTER AWAY AND HIS WIFE ONE ON THE ISSUE.

I WOULD IMAGINE

IT WAS EASY IN COURT.

SHE BY THE WAY HAS PASSED AWAY SO THE

THREE-YEAR-OLD IS WITH OTHER FAMILY NOW AND HOPEFULLY WILL

NEVER SEE HIM AGAIN, I HOPE.

NOW TO THE PART OF THE INCEL

COMMUNITY, I FEEL WEIRD CALLING THEM NOT, THAT IS FILLED WITH

ANGER AND HATRED AGAINST WOMEN, HE SPOKE TO THAT AND HE SAID

DON'T FORGET, FEMINISM IS THE PROBLEM AND RAPE IS THE

SOLUTION.

HE COMPARED WOMEN TO ANIMALS.

MY FIRST THOUGHT WAS,

HE COMPARED HUMANS TO ANIMALS, WHERE HAVE I HEARD THAT BEFORE?

IT IS THE MOST EXTREME PART OF IT, I HOPE IT DOESN'T GET

WORSE THAN THIS.

FOR RIGHT-WINGERS I ALWAYS SAY THIS BARREL DOESN'T HAVE A

BOTTOM, I THINK WE FOUND IT, AND HOPE WE DID.

I LITERALLY CANNOT IMAGINE WHAT COULD BE LOWER THAN THIS.

CAN I READ ONE OF HIS QUOTES?

THAT HE GAVE IN AN INTERVIEW?

THIS IS ACTUALLY FROM ONE OF THE WEBSITES, SOMETHING HE

POSTED.

AGAIN, LET'S REITERATE HE DOES NOT HAVE CUSTODY OF HIS

DAUGHTER THANKFULLY.

THIS IS SO GROSS.

WE KNOW THAT PEDOPHILIA EXISTS, BUT EVEN THROUGH

EVERYTHING THAT WE HAVE TALKED ABOUT ON THE SHOW OVER THE

YEARS, I WAS STILL NAœVE AND DIDN'T THINK THAT PEOPLE THIS

BAD EXISTED BUT THEY DO.

I AM EXCITED ABOUT THE R KELLY STORIES THAT ARE GOING TO

BE COMING OUT BECAUSE I THINK WE ARE GOING TO HAVE TO FACE IS

CONVERSATION ON A NATIONAL LEVEL IN TERMS OF ARE THERE LIMITS IN

CONVERSATION THAT WE NEED TO HAVE, WE DID A STORY OR WE ARE

ABOUT TO DO A STORY ABOUT MANDATORY MINIMUM AGES FOR

MARRIAGE WHICH NOT ALL STATES HAVE.

RIGHT.

BOOK, TRUMP OBVIOUSLY FAMOUSLY SAID THERE ARE GOOD

PEOPLE ON BOTH SIDES NOT REFERRING TO INCELS OR

PEDOPHILIA BUT TO CHARLOTTESVILLE BUT THAT WAS THE

EXTREME RIGHT WING AND THEY WERE DOING NAZI CHANTS ABOUT GETTING

RID OF THE JEWS IN THE MIDDLE OF AMERICA IN CHARLOTTESVILLE,

VIRGINIA SO NOW THIS GUY IS A CANDIDATE IN CHARLOTTESVILLE,

VIRGINIA AND HE SAYS HOLD MY BEER.

I CAN DO BETTER.

AS WE

HAVE GOTTEN TO THIS POINT, I HOPE THIS IS THE END.

I HOPE

THAT THE PENDULUM STARTS TO SWING BACK, BUT THERE IS A

CERTAIN INSANITY THAT HAS BEEN ENCOURAGED IN THIS COUNTRY AND

IT IS CLEARLY COMING FROM ONE SIDE AND I DON'T KNOW IF THERE

ANY RESPONSIBLE PEOPLE LEFT ON THAT SIDE.

IT IS EASY TO

CONDEMN THIS GUY AND SAY HE IS NOT ONE OF US, SUPER EASY TO DO

THAT BUT ARE YOU GOING AROUND AND SAYING NO, ALL THE PEOPLE

WHO SAY WHEN THERE IS OTHER FORMS OF HATE SPEECH, IT IS JUST

POLITICAL CORRECTNESS AND THIS GUY SAYS THE SAME THING.

I'VE

BEEN POLITICALLY INCORRECT.

HE TALKS ABOUT THEY ARE TAKING MY

BLOGS AWAY WHERE I WANT TO ENCOURAGE RAPING KIDS, THAT IS

AGAINST MY FREEDOM OF SPEECH.

I HAVE SEEN THIS MOVIE BEFORE.

ARE YOU GOING TO THEN BEGIN TO CAUTION AGAINST OTHER FORMS

OF HATE SPEECH THAT LEADS DOWN THIS ROAD?

MY GUESS IS HELL NO, THE RIGHT WING IS GOING TO CONTINUE

TO ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO PUSH THE ENVELOPE.

I AM GOING TO ADD SOMETHING TO THAT THAT MIGHT BE

CONTROVERSIAL, BUT I THINK IT IS IMPORTANT FOR US TO DO A BETTER

JOB IN DIFFERENTIATING BETWEEN THE TYPE OF SPEECH THAT SHOULD

BE POLICE AND THE TYPE OF SPEECH THAT I THINK PEOPLE ARE BEING

OVERLY SENSITIVE ABOUT BECAUSE WITH THIS KIND OF STUFF COMES

UP, YOU DO NOT WANT THE REACTION TO BE, IT IS JUST POLITICAL

CORRECTNESS.

NO, THIS IS NOT PC CULTURE, THIS IS WRONG AND WHEN

WE START NITPICKING ON EVERY WORD THAT SOMEONE SAYS,

INTENT MATTERS.

IF SOMEONE HAS NO INTENT TO HARM OTHERS, NO INTENT TO SAY

ANYTHING OFFENSIVE AND WE GET ON THEM AND THEN THERE IS THIS

NATIONAL CASE ABOUT GETTING THEM FIRED, THEN THAT IS WHEN

YOU START LOSING REASONABLE PEOPLE WHO WOULD LOOK AT A

STORY LIKE THIS AND SAY YEAH, THIS IS WRONG, WE SHOULD

POLICE THIS KIND OF CONTENT ONLINE.

LAST THING ON THIS, I HEAR YOU ONE THAT AND IT IS

DEFINITELY TRUE.

WE ARE FOR ACTUAL FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION AND

SPEECH ON THE SHOW AND WE HAVE DEFENDED CONSERVATIVES WHO HAVE

BEEN BANNED FROM COLLEGE CAMPUSES ETC., BUT RUSH LIMBAUGH

AND HIS ILK STARTED CALLING WOMEN FEMINAZIS AND THAT IS

WHAT LED DOWN THIS ROAD.

THEY DEMONIZED FEMINISTS AND WOMEN

OVER AND OVER AGAIN AND IT BEGAN A CULTURE AND A CULT OF HATRED

AND SO THIS IS THE VERY END OF THAT ROAD BUT I REMEMBER THE

BEGINNING OF THE ROAD, I REMEMBER THE MIDDLE OF IT AND

ALL ALONG THAT ROAD, THE RIGHT WING KEPT SAYING NO, IT IS JUST

YOU BEING POLITICALLY CORRECT, I GET TO SAY AND SPREAD MY HATRED

AND MY FEAR AND MY SICK CULTURE AS FAR AS I LIKE.

YOU GET TO DO

IT, BUT AT LEAST ONE OF THE ENDS OF THE ROAD WITH THIS SO I

HOPE YOU ARE PROUD.

WE HOPE THIS IS THE END OF THE ROAD BECAUSE I WOULD NOT

OF EXPECTED, I THOUGHT WE HAD ALREADY HIT THE END OF THE ROAD.

BEYOND ALABAMA, THERE IS VIRGINIA.

8 Phrasal Verbs with BREAK: break in, break up, break through... - Duration: 11:25.
