Quantum Diamond Sensors Could Give Us a New Look Inside Our Bodies - Duration: 3:47.
The quantum realm seems to lend itself to extremes: extremely small, cold, fast, and
extremely accurate.
As technology evolves and our ability to see the universe on a quantum scale increases
what will we do with this new visibility?
The scale at which quantum effects are often studied is on the order of nanometers or less.
How small is a nanometer?
Well, there are 25.4 million nanometres in one inch and about 100,000 nanometres in the
width of a piece of paper.
So, really, really, extremely small.
A system *that* tiny is also delicate and difficult to study because it is so susceptible
to disruption.
The famous physicist Richard Feynman was one of the pioneers of quantum physics and even
he is on record as saying "nobody really understands quantum mechanics".
That's partially because, particles behave very differently and counterintuitively on
the quantum scale,and also because it's difficult for scientists to understand effects
that they cannot observe.
Quantum effects are everywhere, even in biological systems.
Since Feynman's day, technology has advanced and researchers have designed clever ways
to observe quantum interactions.
One research group in Japan aligned an array of quantum sensors called 'nitrogen vacancy
centres', and this is first step towards measuring the behavior of protons within a
protein sample 6.
When measuring effects that are really tiny and subtle, a common trick scientists use
is indirect observation.
They don't measure exactly what's going on, they measure the effect *that* behaviour
has on something else that is easier to record.
In the case, of a protein sample the behavior of the protons in the protein would have a
measurable effect on the nitrogen vacancy centres that form the quantum sensor.
The nitrogen vacancy centers basically act as the canary in the coal mine -- indicating
to the scientists what is happening at the quantum scale that they CAN'T observe in
a way that they CAN observe.
NV centers occur as impurities in the crystal structure of diamond.
These impurities happen at specific locations throughout the crystal structure and each
provides a single-photon signal that can be detected by Nuclear Magnetic Resonance.
Quantum interactions with the sample, would perturb the NV centers in a predictable way,
and researchers would be able to measure these changes.
But our measurement abilities are limited and it takes a lot of these NV centers perfectly
aligned to create a readable signal.
Until now, such alignment was not possible, but thanks to a processing technique engineered
by the group in Japan, we may soon be able to make real-time measurements of quantum
processes within biological systems.
Tools like this could tell us about the quantum mechanical relationships that drive behavior
of molecules and could even help us detect individual proteins inside a cell.
Until this point, scientists and engineers have relied on classical computer models and
supercomputer simulations of quantum mechanical interactions to predict complicated biological
effects on a sub-atomic scale, but we are moving inextricably closer to the day when
we might get just close enough to image quantum behavior in a living organism.
Which would be BANANAS!
As a molecular neuroscientist, I'm excited about what this could mean for cellular biology
and drug discovery.
Better understanding of the entire process when a drug binds its target protein, could
make experiments performed during the research and development phase more targeted, speeding
up the discovery process and reducing the large failure rate of candidate drugs.
On a more basic level, the ability to measure and observe quantum interactions will contribute
to our fundamental understanding of the universe and maybe one day soon, we can prove Feynman
wrong.

Hillary Clinton thought she was finally out of the woods when it came to being punished
for the many crimes she has committed against our country.
That's why it came as a devastating and terrifying blow to her when Federal Election
Commission documents came out showing that Clinton teamed up with Democrats to undertake
an extensive scheme to violate federal campaign limits.
Right Wing News reported that Dan Backer, a campaign-finance lawyer and attorney-of-record
in the lawsuit, found that there was "extensive evidence in the Democrats' own FEC reports,
when coupled with their own public statements that demonstrated massive straw man contributions
papered through the state parties, to the DNC, and then directly to Clinton's campaign—in
clear violation of federal campaign-finance law."
He filed an 86-page complaint with the FEC against Clinton, her campaign and its treasurer,
the DNC and its treasurer, and the participating state Democratic committees.
The documents show that Clinton and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) created the Hillary
Victory Fund (HVF) so they could accept large donations exceeding $400,000.
The FEC documents show many large contributions as received by the HVF and the same amount
on the same day (or occasionally the following day) recorded as received by the DNC from
a state Democratic committee, but without the state Democratic committee ever reporting
the contribution.
On at least 30 different occasions, the HVF transferred contributions totaling more than
$10 million to the DNC without any corresponding record of the receipt or disbursement from
the state parties.
Essentially, this means that they broke the law by jumping right over the state Democratic
parties.
The mainstream media has refused to report on this major discovery at all, instead choosing
to chase the story of Trump's $130,000 payment through Michael Cohen to Stormy Daniels.
The mainstream media has no idea that they are actually helping Trump by showing how
little they can be trusted.

The FBI's investigation into Hillary Clinton's email server upended the 2016 election.
Former FBI Director James Comey outrageously claimed she didn't commit any crimes.
But a new bombshell report suggests the investigation is not over and Clinton just got some very
bad news.
Former New York Times Magazine editor Ed Klein reported in Newsmax that the FBI reopened
the investigation into Hillary Clinton's emails and offered her a plea bargain.
Under the terms of the deal, the Justice Department would not press charges if she signed a document
admitting to a "prosecutable crime."
Klein writes:
"THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT HAS REOPENED THE INVESTIGATION OF HILLARY CLINTON'S MISHANDLING
OF CLASSIFIED MATERIAL ON HER PRIVATE EMAIL SYSTEM WHILE SHE WAS SECRETARY OF STATE, AND
IS CONSIDERING OFFERING HER A PLEA BARGAIN IF SHE WILL AGREE TO PLEAD GUILTY TO CHARGES
OF BREAKING THE LAW, ACCORDING TO A CLINTON ATTORNEY.
THE DISCUSSION OF A PLEA BARGAIN TOOK PLACE LATE LAST MONTH AND WAS OFFERED BY A HIGH-RANKING
JUSTICE DEPARTMENT OFFICIAL TO THE CLINTON LAWYER.
DURING THE EXPLORATORY TALKS WITH THE PROSECUTOR, THE CLINTON ATTORNEY WAS TOLD THAT DESPITE

OF HILLARY'S PAY TO PLAY DEALS WITH FOREIGN GOVERNMENTS AND BUSINESSMEN WHO CONTRIBUTED
TO THE CLINTON FOUNDATION OR WHO PAID BILL CLINTON EXORBITANT SPEAKING FEES."
The Blaze reported Klein stating in an interview that he did not think Clinton would take the
plea deal:
"SPEAKING WITH "AMERICA TALKS LIVE'S" MIRANDA KHAN, KLEIN SAID, "SOMETIMES SHE
HAS TROUBLE ADMITTING THAT SHE'S HILLARY CLINTON, YOU'RE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT.
THIS IS A WOMAN WHO NEVER, EVER ADMITS THAT SHE DID ANYTHING WRONG."
"WE'VE ALL SEEN HOW SHE HAS BLAMED EVERYBODY BUT HERSELF FOR HER LOSS IN 2016 AT THE PRESIDENTIAL
ELECTION.
SO YOU'RE RIGHT, I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU THAT THE CHANCES OF HER ACCEPTING SUCH AN
OFFER ARE PRACTICALLY ZERO," HE ADDED."
Conservatives were perplexed by the news.
On one hand – if this is true – it means the investigation into Hillary Clinton is
continuing and she may not escape accountability for her misdeeds.
But conservatives are also wondering why a plea deal is being offered to Hillary while
a special counsel investigation rages against Trump.
It looks like the swamp is covering up for its own.

Hyperrealistic Strawberry | Step by step Tutorial video - Duration: 21:20.
So you'll be needing these 3 types of pencils
A Darker grade pencil like 7B, 8B or 9B
A medium Grade pencil like 4B, 5B or 6B
and a lighter grade pencil like B, 2B OR 3b
Now i'm gonna fill this whole outline with a lighter shade using 3B pemcil
I always draw these simple outlines using Grid method
Or freelhand (in this case).
Now i'm gonna blend this shade using a Soft Synthetic Watercolor brush
Okay, Now Grab your 5B or any other medium grade pencil
and add some darker shades on all these three sides of strawberries
and also add some darker shade here on this upper part
Now blend the shade with a dry brush
You can also use a mechanical pencil to remove the texture in this shade
I love shading with mechanical pencil because you don't have to blend the shades
they are already very smooth and perfect
Okay lets grab a lighter shade pencil and add these small circles in this middle portion
and add small dots near the edges
In-case if you want to draw a strawberry without reference
keep in mind that distance b/w 2 consecutive Dots should be less than 2 circles
Or you can follow the reference if you want

Now darken these circles and dots using a darker shades pencil like 7B or 8B
Now grab your lighter shade pencil and add some shades around each circle
Like thiss !!
You can blend these shades using a small brush or a micro Tortillon.
You can click this (i) button here to see how to make a micro tortillon.
Now grab a Tombow MONO or any sharp tip eraser you have
and add some highligts b/w Circles and Dots
In this Central area, you have to make the highlights more prominent than the corners or sides.
which means, you have to add highlights all around a single CIRCLE.
and above OR below in case of a Dot. as you can see in these illustrations..
You can also add some highlights in these seeds, or i should say, Circles (in this case).
Lets erase these extra shades around the strawberry and make it alittle bit smoother.
Now lets add a shadow below the strawberry
Add base shade using a 3B pencil
blend it smoothly and then add a darker shades using 7B or 8B pencil.
Moving on to the leaves
First you have to fill the leaves with shades.
Now grab a MONO Zero eraser and add some random white lines in each leaf.
or you can follow the reference if you want.
lets make these highlights a little bit smoother. and remove these random white lines.
and Here you go !

Why This Symbol Is No Longer Banned In Germany - Duration: 5:58.
A groundbreaking move has just announced by the German USK rating system, in that it will
no longer require publishers to make sure that their games contain no Nazi symbols to
be allowed to be given a rating.
Up until now, all publishers were made to confirm that their games do not contain any
swastikas and other nazi insignia upon submitted their games and, if they couldn't confirm
this, then the games wouldn't be allowed to be submitted.
Now, all of that changes, as has been confirmed in a German post on the USK website.
This doesn't necessarily mean that all games containing nazi imagery will now be allowed
in Germany though, but it means that they will be investigated on a case by case basis,
rather than being outright refused.
The reason for the change in decision seems to have stemmed from multiple developments
in Germany recently.
The first of these appears to be the Wolfenstein II video that Censored Gaming made late last
year, which compared the English version of the game with the German version, and how,
amongst other changes, the German version completely removed Hitler's moustache.
This then went on to make international news all over the globe, appearing on most big
general news websites and starting a big discussion over in Germany amongst the general public
as well as industry figures.
For many non-gamers over in Germany, this opened their eyes to a practise that they
simply weren't aware about.
Other developments include the historically accurate educational game Attentat 1942 being
blocked in Germany earlier in the year for the same reasons.
Rather than just accepting this though, the developers took action and started contacting
lawyers and holding meetings about German censorship in games.
And then lastly, there's also just the growing dissociation between the current state of
things and then what originally caused things to be the way today - this being a court case
from way back in 1998, where a German high court ruled that Wolfenstein 3D couldn't be
released with the nazi symbols intact.
However, the court didn't consider a clause in the legal code, which allows this imagery
for purposes such as art and teaching.
This same clause is the reason why movies are allowed to be released in Germany with
no issues.
Movies are consider art, yet for games, them being art or not wasn't even considered.
Alongside this, 1998 was a very long time ago now and much has changed both for videos
games, as well as German law.
Video games are now much more like movies than they used to be back in the 90s.
Public perception has also shifted drastically from the days of Pac-Man and Donkey Kong,
where games were commonly viewed as only 'toys' - especially amongst parents and non-gamers.
On the legal side, we have things like the USK ratings not being legally enforceable
back in 1998, but this is something that got changed in 2003.
Legal experts have consistently argued that if a court was to look into the issue again,
the decision would come out differently, yet for this to happen a publisher would have
to attempt to submit their game unaltered and then go through the long and likely expensive
legal process - something that no company so far has been willing to do.
In fact, public prosecutors decided to not investigate a browser-based parody game that
used a swastika earlier this year - citing the clause that allows this imagery to be
used for things such as art purposes.
This marked the first ever time an Attorney General's Public Prosecutor's Office has
decided to not investigate a possible violation of these laws.
As for what will happen next, this remains to be seen and it's important to keep in mind
that this change doesn't automatically allow publishers to release games in Germany showing
whatever they want.
The German Games Industry Association speaks about the exact legal clause over on their
website, saying: "When games that depict symbols of unconstitutional
organisations are submitted to the USK for an age rating, the USK committees can now
assess them on a case-by-case basis to decide whether the 'social adequacy clause' applies.
In this context, 'social adequacy' means that symbols of unconstitutional organisations
can be used in games in individual cases, as long as those symbols serve an artistic
or scientific purpose, or depict current or historical events.
Previously, this assessment was not carried out for games – only for other media such
as film.
The change is the result of a new interpretation of the applicable law by the Supreme Youth
Protection Authority of the Federal States based on current legal assessments."
Baker McKenzie from Lexology.com suggests that this may mean certain games may still
run into issues in Germany, such as 2009's skate 2.
In the article he says: "Nevertheless, it should be noted that there
are also some games which will most likely not be able to obtain a rating even after
the change of the USK practice.
An example would be the video game skate 2 (2009) which is a typical skateboarding game
and was rated USK 12 in Germany.
However, for the German release some symbols (a sig rune) which are displayed on the clothes
and skateboards of some of the included skateboarders had to be removed.
The sig rune was included in the game as it is the company logo of a popular US skateboarding
firm whose skateboarders are featured in the game.
However, using unconstitutional symbols on toys and clothes is exactly what the German
criminal law on unconstitutional symbols intents to prevent.
Thus it is unlikely that games like skate 2 will be classified by the USK."
All of this remains to be seen though and the fact that Nazi imagery is no longer blocked
outright is a huge move.
It also seems that the USK are very on-board the notion of making sure the social adequacy
clause will be fairly taken into account when examining games and that that games are now
finally being treated much more like movies are over in Germany,
Another important point to keep in mind is that this should also lead to less games being
censored worldwide to avoid any issues over in Germany.
You may recall for instance how Call of Duty: WW2 removed any offending symbols worldwide
during multiplayer, due to the German issue.
This should now no longer be necessary.

Pellet Smoker Ribs - How To Smoke BBQ Ribs On Pellet Smoker - Z Grills - Duration: 8:58.
what's up everybody this is Lyle no hippie BBQ when I'd be doing today is
gonna be some East Carolina barbecue ribs this is my first time knocking out
this bbq rib recipe has been on my radar for a while so I'm glad I can finally get to
it anyway I'm excited to use a grill that was sent to me by Z-grills they
set this grill out to me for me to do a few cooks on and to do a review on it
I'm not going to get to the review tilt down the road obviously because I need
to see how this cooks now the beauty of this pellet smoker is you can cook a
number of different ways on it you can grill smoke sear braised pink rose to
catch our grill you can do all kinds of stuff with this so hopefully this is as
good as I think it's gonna be anyway we're gonna get a little bit into this
drill a little bit down the road in this video but I am going to leave a link to
where you could check them out in the description below one thing I do like
right off the bat is the price point on this is a really nice price point for a
lot of people that may want to start getting into pellet smoking anyway first
thing you need to do is get these pork ribs trimmed up a little bit we're going to
kind of keep the rib rub basic we're gonna go just salt and pepper on these ribs and
then I have East Carolina mop sauce so we're gonna be applying a few times
during this cook anyway come on in take a look at these ribs I'm going to show
you kind of how I'm gonna trim these up and then we'll get them out on that Z-grill
so here's the ribs we're working with now I'm really not gonna get too
deep into trim in these lamps I've already removed the membrane off the
back but what I do like to do is we kind of flip these over these ribs kind of
start getting a little bit smaller down here I like to do is just kind of come
and trim that part off right here and what I'll do is I'll just go ahead and
freeze this and I'll smoke it later or I could smoke it now and throw that in
some beans or you whatever like that and then a lot of
times you'll see this real super fatty end right here and these are gonna be
for my house so I just I don't need to have a whole lot of ribs so we're just
gonna go ahead and cut this up as well so these are gonna be kind of smaller
rib bones we're done you can clean up some of this stuff now as far as our
cook temperature goes on the grill I'm gonna be cooking these at a higher
temperature I'm probably gonna be like 300 or the low three hundreds and the
reason is I want to really test this bbq smoker out it's pretty easy to uh you
know I forgot a little bit of this membrane you know what that's me fine
there's a little sliver right there but I want to cook at a higher temperature
just because I think it's easy for a smoker to cook at 225 degrees I want to
see how this does closer to that 300 range and this should only take a few
hours at that temperature all right guys let's go ahead and season these up these
are gonna be like I say the season with salt pepper I'm gonna use some olive oil
as a binder just since these are going directly on the barbeque grill
and they have my grill getting preheated to 300 degrees once it gets there we'll
go ahead and throw these on 300 degrees I do have some wood pellets in here
already but I want to go ahead and top it off now so I don't have to worry
about it later anyway I'm gonna be using some oak wood pellets on this and these
are oak wood pellets from Z-grills as well
I'm gonna go ahead and grab these ribs this should be a 300 degrees in about
two minutes all right guys we are now at 300 degrees let's go ahead and get these
ribs on I think I'm gonna go ahead and throw those trimmings on here as well
but you know what the beauty of this is all I need to do is shut this down set
it and forget it we're gonna come and check on these in about an hour and
we'll probably apply some of our mop sauce at that point the Z-grill has been
doing a good job holding that temperature at 300 degrees let's go
ahead and get this BBQ sauce on
all right that's a nice little coat on that I'm gonna let this go for about
another hour and then we'll go ahead and apply another coat we are now two hours
in I'm going to go ahead and baste these ribs for the second time
trying to get a little bit of pull back on the bone so we're not that far off
I'm going to check these in another hour
three hours and looks like we're getting some nice bend out of them they're close
to being done but they are not quite done yet I'm gonna go ahead and hit them
with a little bit more of this barbecue sauce
all right I'm gonna let these go for about another
20 minutes and then I'm gonna flip him over reduce the heat to about 225
degrees and finish them up there well I'm gonna tell you these ribs are
looking Laureus right here what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna go ahead look at
that band right there we'll go ahead and turn it over
nice pull back on these bones I'm just gonna get one last application of this
these Carolina mop sauce on the backside I'm gonna turn this drill down to 225
degrees and let it go for another 30 minutes we should be good to go are done
with these this has been about three and a half hours and I'm gonna tell you what
that looks delicious right there anyway one thing I will tell you about this Z-
grill is this thing was like nailed on that temperature I didn't have to worry
about much in fluctuation on that at all anyway I'm gonna go ahead and pack these
up here and get them inside taste them see what's up
so let's go ahead and get into these ribs I will tell you that that Z-
grills handled this like a champ and I'm gonna tell you I'm not gonna bring it up
now but there's a few things about that grill that I really like that I'm gonna
bring out in my review that's gonna be coming up anyway got these ribs here a
few people have ate them already I heard they were the bomb so let me just go in
here and cut me off a little rib break quick dive in nice little smoke ring on
it there's a lot I'd like to mention about that grill like I said we're gonna
hold that back to the review we want to make sure that this wasn't just a little
fluke anyway you're thinking about getting the pellet smoker pellet grill list I'm
gonna leave a link in the description run by there take a look nice price
point on this anyway I'm kind of speechless at the taste of these basic

Here in Cuba we don't have the means to practise surfing,
but that doesn't stop us from making a surfboard
with a piece of wood.
In the end it's about going back to the sea
and getting in the water in any way possible.
(SURFING EXISTS AS AN UNOFFICIAL SPORT IN CUBA
(DESPITE THE ABSENCE OF ANY SURF SHOPS
This board - called pleibo - comes from high-school tables
which are thrown away when a leg is broken.
We take the upper part to make the surfboards.
We try to be resourceful, searching here and there.
Cubans can't be stopped.
This is a fin, also made out of plywood.
Same material, only thinner.
We mark on it with a pencil
then we use a knife or a cutting blade
or any tool that will help us give it the shape needed
to use it as a rudder so we can ride the wave.
I started surfing with a piece of foam,
but it peeled the skin off my chest
and the waves would break it.
So I figured I had to find something more resistant,
and that's when I started using plywood.
This is the traditional Cuban surfboard. We call it pleibo.
It's multilayered wood.
You can see the layers separating here.
The water makes the wood expand.
Eventually, the board falls apart
and we have to find a new pleibo.
This is how we make new boards.

Netflix Miguel Angel Martinez was the youngest person ever to be sentenced to death in Texas at the time of his conviction.
Miguel Angel Martinez is a man who was sentenced to death for his role in a "satanic murder" in 1991.
Martinez's story is featured on the Netflix series 'I Am a Killer,' which chronicles the experiences and stories of people convicted of capital murder.
His story is featured in the fourth episode, "Sympathy for the Devil.".
Miguel Angel Martinez was the youngest person to be sentenced to death in Texas history, at the time of his sentencing.
In 2002, his sentence was commuted to life imprisonment.
Here's what you need to know.
Martinez & Two Others Were All Implicated in a Triple Axe-And-Knife Murder.
Martinez, Manuel "Milo" Flores, and Miguel Angel Venegas were all implicated in the "satanic murder" that was committed in the small town of Laredo, Texas, which left three people dead from a gruesome murder.
However, they were given very different sentences.
Flores was freed from any punishment, as he never entered the house; Venegas was initially given 41 years of prison on three counts of murder (he was 16 years old at the time of the murder, so his case bounced around for a while as the court decided whether to try him as a juvenile or an adult; he was eventually tried as an adult), and Martinez was convicted of capital murder and sentenced to death.
Martinez Said He Met Venegas 'In Class,' & They Later Met Flores at a Party.
Martinez said to Netflix, "Venegas was sixteen at the time, and Fores was seventeen and I was seventeen…Milo [was wealthy] and had the means to get drugs.
That was what joined us: smoking marijuana and doing cocaine.".
Martinez continued, "[Venegas] was not someone I necessarily enjoyed having around." Of the night of the murder, Martinez said, "I can't say that there was a reason…or an intention in going to this particular house.
Milo and I had been there before a couple of times [to steal things in exchange for drugs.]".
Martinez Had Been Given Keys to the House of James Smiley, One of the Victims.
James Smiley was a youth baptist counselor who Martinez claims took an interest in him, even offering keys to his house.
"I think it can be considered him seeing somebody that needed a father, or somebody that was disadvantaged, and trying to help," Martinez said.
"I actually stayed with him at night [a few times], and going to work the next morning, he was my ride," Martinez said.
"We decided to go to that house.
It was supposed to be what we had done before.
Nobody home, go in and take something.".
They had a baseball bat, an axe, and some knives, per Martinez's account.
The Robbery Turned Into a Murder Because of 'Satanic' Impulses by Venegas, According to Martinez.
"When we got to the house," Martinez said, "I had a bad feeling.
Venegas walks over, [and] when he came back he told me there's somebody in the house, which was a surprise.
My thoughts were to get away…there was something that changed with Venegas.
He was on a mission, and it was not to go steal anything…to him, he was on a mission from Satan.".
"Satan wanted their souls," Martinez said, adding that the reason he personally didn't leave was because he was afraid of Venegas by that point in the evening.
"Venegas had the axe, and he hit [a guy] one time," Martinez said.
"And he started stabbing the guy on the couch.
The part that I remember is Venegas looking up at me and telling me it was my turn.".
Martinez explained that he began to stab the body, too, then walked away through a sliding door.
Martinez said that he wasn't aware that while he was gone, Venegas had stabbed someone else.
"What I remember is saying I wanted to leave, and he told me to give him the axe, and he walked down the hallway to the back room.
I didn't see what he did.
When he came back, he told me there was a guy back there, and that Satan wanted their soul.".
Martinez and Venega ended up taking one TV from the living room, then leaving.
Venegas Has Since Confirmed That He Was Motivated by a 'Satanic' Impulse.
Venegas has since confirmed Martinez's claim that Satanic impulses played a role in Venegas' motivation for the murders. "I come from a machista culture," Venegas said to Netflix.
"A dare is a dare.".
"At eight years old, I became convinced that I was the son of the devil," Venegas said.
"There used to be a bunch of black widow spiders, and I would fill up a jar of black widows, and take off my shirt…and I'd just put the black widows on my chest.
None of them ever bit me, so I'm convincing myself I'm the son of the devil.".
Venegas added that when he went to the back hallway after he'd killed the man on the couch, one of the victims woke up, looked at him, and went back to sleep.
He said, "I'm thinking to myself, 'The devil's got my back.'".
Venegas confirmed that he truly believed the devil was going to kill him if he didn't kill those people.
One of the officers at the time of the investigation has since said to Netflix, "The level of violence was incredible…their bodies, their heads were smashed.
In the master bedroom…the crucifix had been turned upside down.".

and also add some darker shade here on this upper part
Now blend the shade with a dry brush
You can also use a mechanical pencil to remove the texture in this shade
I love shading with mechanical pencil because you don't have to blend the shades
they are already very smooth and perfect
Okay lets grab a lighter shade pencil and add these small circles in this middle portion
and add small dots near the edges
In-case if you want to draw a strawberry without reference
keep in mind that distance b/w 2 consecutive Dots should be less than 2 circles
Or you can follow the reference if you want
I've uploaded the reference on my website and link is in the discription (as always).
Now darken these circles and dots using a darker shades pencil like 7B or 8B
Now grab your lighter shade pencil and add some shades around each circle
Like thiss !!
You can blend these shades using a small brush or a micro Tortillon.
You can click this (i) button here to see how to make a micro tortillon.
Now grab a Tombow MONO or any sharp tip eraser you have
and add some highligts b/w Circles and Dots
In this Central area, you have to make the highlights more prominent than the corners or sides.
which means, you have to add highlights all around a single CIRCLE.
and above OR below in case of a Dot. as you can see in these illustrations..
You can also add some highlights in these seeds, or i should say, Circles (in this case).
Lets erase these extra shades around the strawberry and make it alittle bit smoother.
Now lets add a shadow below the strawberry
Add base shade using a 3B pencil
blend it smoothly and then add a darker shades using 7B or 8B pencil.
Moving on to the leaves
First you have to fill the leaves with shades.
Now grab a MONO Zero eraser and add some random white lines in each leaf.
or you can follow the reference if you want.
lets make these highlights a little bit smoother. and remove these random white lines.
and Here you go !

so one of the biggest reasons as to why I didn't call myself
Joey Vanzetti to begin with which you would expect I would do if I'm doing a
solo project is because when I was back in school I was a fucking idiot
and there were things online if you googled my name Joey Vanzetti things
would come up that I wouldn't want you to see if I was trying to promote my
music so when I was in school I put an entry on urbandictionary.com
hopefully you know what urban dictionary is, slang words and you can put in your own entries for
words and create the description for them whatever I put in so much vulgar
shit on that site like really stupid stuff and then you can add like an
author for your entry on the dictionary so when anyone looks up your word it
will show who wrote it and because I was fucking stupid I didn't know any better
I didn't know that this would haunt me years later I put Joey Vanzetti as the
author and then years on you know it fucked with me so much like
trying to get jobs and stuff like potential employers nowadays they do two
things they stalk your Facebook and they google you so I was trying to get a job
people are fucking googling me and is coming up with my stupid-ass 15 year old
idiot head urban dictionary entries full of the most banal and vulgar and teenage
stupid shit that you can even think of so they are not hiring me and also some of
you guys know this but I teach guitar and drums and
so when people are looking for the teacher one thing that a parent
would do before sending their fucking child round here to get some lessons
is Google the person they're sending them to and if all the stupid shit comes
up then it just messes with me so it took me absolutely ages and it was
only recently that I actually managed to get in touch with the good guys at urban
dictionary and get those entries removed so a lesson learned any of you out there
if you put something on the internet just think about it just think about it
for a second before it goes up and if you are going to put something up there make
sure you have control of it so you can then take it down
I think at this point I'm comfortable enough for my own skin and
what I'm doing to just be able to kind of put things up and videos and things
and I'll have control and be able to take them down but don't be an idiot like me
so yeah that that was one of the reasons why I didn't call myself that to begin
with which is a stupid reason but it's fucking true, can you imagine like
over the year that I've been doing this if I had called myself that and I was
trying to get gigs and stuff people would look up my music and number one on
Google was like all the stupid shit that I've done when I was like 14 so felt a
little bit unfair that that was the case but it was the case so hey so yeah
I mean one of the reasons why I'm changing a back I didn't mention this
because the 52 Blue name actually comes from, there's another video that I put up
explaining where the name actually comes from but short story is it's to do with a
whale. It makes sense if you watch the video and the meaning behind the name is
really cool but I didn't consider the fact that when people were looking for
me there would have a problem finding my stuff because whales would just show up
fucking whales would just show up and that ain't me, I ain't no whale, I'm just a guy
trying to make music to make people happy, trying to make videos. I don't swim. I can
swim but I don't swim so yeah fucking whales, who knew
what whales would ever be a problem but they are so well they were not anymore I
changed my name that's cool
