welcome to my channel

in this video i'm going to show you how to re-pot the peace lily plant and care

peace lily is excellent and lovely houseplant for the home or office

and low-maintenance houseplant

and now

this peace lily plant needs to re pot

because the pot is very small and signs that a plant has outgrown its container

to re pot the peace lily i just select clay pot with big drainage hole

this clay pot is 3 inches larger than its current pot

next

here the big drainage hole

so

i'm just covering the drainage hole with a piece of coco husk to keep the soil in the pot

water can drain out and air can get in

and then

putting some stones for better drainage

next soil mixture

this plant prefers well-drained soil

so

making soil mixture for peace lily

just adding

sand, compost, garden soil, saw dust and charcoal

overwatering and poor drainage are the most common reasons for a peace lily to die

charcoal used for the well drained soil

and

charcoal helps plants by improving soil pH, increasing water absorption

next

i'm going to take out the plant from the pot

i'm just pressing the pot to release the plant

next

now i'm putting some coco coir in the pot

this will help to keep the soil moisture for long time

so we don't need to pour water frequently

you should never water peace lily plants on a schedule

and check them once a week to see if they need to be watered

now i'm placing the plant in center of coco coir

and then adding the soil

in this stage almost potting is finished

i'm going to cover the top soil with some tree bark pieces

because in hot summer this will help from soil dryness

now summer season so i just adding the tree barks on the top of the soil

now repotting finished

keep the plant in brighter location

and peace lily don't need direct sun, preferring bright, indirect light from a nearby window

peace lily doesn't bloom in insufficient light

so keep in window area

and water the plant touch the top of the soil to see if it is dry

It's fair to say most people enjoy a very special bond with grandpas and grandmas.

They are kind, thoughtful and usually a little less strict when it comes to the rules than

our parents.

My grandparents were always on hand to help me bake, let me eat as many sweets as I wanted,

and take me on exciting trips.

It might only have been into the woods behind her house, but my grandma was able to turn

a little walk into an amazing pirate adventure, where treasure was hidden behind every stone.

As I got older, I realized there were no pirates behind grandma's house; no treasure behind

the stones.

But the fact that she could take the ordinary and make it extraordinary stuck with me.

Something else you learn about grandparents from an early age is that there's no point

trying to mess with them.

You know how it's going to end.

That's certainly the case if you encounter 77-year-old Winifred Peel from Wirral, UK.

One day, pensioner Winifred went to a cash machine to withdraw some money.

As she stood there, shielding her pin, she noticed someone coming up behind her.

Before she had time to act, two men had pulled her off balance.

Then, another man appeared.

One reached over Winifred and tried to withdraw £200 from her account.

Acting fast The men were thieves, and if Winifred did

not act quickly they were going to drain her account of all its money.

But when one of the men tried to take cash out, Winifred put a plan into action.

She grabbed the man's collar and slammed his head into the ATM with all the force she

could.

She managed to knock the man's head against the machine three times before the robbers

were forced to flee, running like dogs with their tails between their legs.

Winifred then placed a call to the police and the assailants were arrested later that

day.

One of the reasons the police were able to identify the men so easily was head wound

one of them had sustained as a result of Winifred's defensive action.

They were identified as Piper Dumitru, Florin Gebelscu and Felix Stoica.

All three later admitted their guilt in court and were jailed.

According to the prosecutor, the robbers drove to the village to find easy targets.

"They did not care about how this would affect me," Winifred said, as per British

source Metro.

"I would definitely say this has changed my life, I will never have the confidence

I once did."

Due to the fact that she had grown up with three brothers and went to the gym four days

a week, Winifred fortunately had a doggedness the robbers had not counted on.

Go Winifred!

I hope she taught those guys their lesson.

Of course, one should never aim to rob anyone, but three young men taking advantage of a

77-year-old grandmother?

That's simply beyond shameless.

Unai Emery has revealed why he elected to start Petr Cech ahead of Bernd Leno in the

2-0 defeat to Manchester City on Sunday.

After a summer during which several first-team players were signed by Arsenal, just one of

them made the starting lineup on the opening match of the season.

Bernd Leno was perhaps the most surprising omission from the starting lineup after making

his move from Bayer Leverkusen.

Petr Cech started in his stead and captained the side but appeared to struggle at times

with the Gunners' buildup play.

Now, Unai Emery has revealed why he elected to start Cech over a goalkeeper who is perhaps

better known for his ability on the ball.

"We want the competition between the goalkeepers and also every player in the squad," Emery

said after the match.

"Despite the position, it is the same opportunity and the same chances for all the goalkeepers.

"We spoke also and Petr Cech, he is doing very well.

Today as well, I think he played well also.

He has this experience for continuing to defend our goal.

"Also, Leno is starting with us.

He is working very well, he played well in pre-season too but he has to wait for his

chance to arrive."

So, it doesn't seem like we can expect to see Leno in the starting lineup anytime soon.

Perhaps the German will act as the club's cup goalkeeper for his first few months at

Arsenal.

  The Gauteng education department has on Monday assured the public that its online application system is secure.

This follows an article on IT news website MyBroadband reporting that there was a potential security flaw in the department's admissions portal.  MyBroadband said this potential security issue could be due to a failure to properly secure each application against access by other registered users‚ making all applications accessible to any applicant logged in to the system.

But the department‚ in a short response to questions from TimesLIVE‚ said there was nothing to worry about.

"This [comment] is to assure users that our system is secured until we are advised otherwise by our hosting agency‚" the department said in its response.

It said it had previously stopped various attempts by hackers to harm its system‚ with the hackers not succeeding in their quest.

Tony Adams was disappointed at the manner of Arsenal's defeat to Manchester City and launched a scathing attack on Unai Emery

The Arsenal head coach took charge of his first Premier League against the reigning champions but goals from Raheem Sterling and Bernardo Silva ensured victory for Pep Guardiola's men

The Manchester outfit produced a controlled and measured performance to get their title defence off to a winning start

Sterling scored a wonderful goal to score his 50th goal for the club, as the England international jinxed past Hector Bellerin and Matteo Guendouzi from the left wing to score a low drive past Petr Cech

Victory was sealed in the second half as Silva blasted City's second into the roof of the net from the impressive Benjamin Mendy's cut-back

Arsenal did show glimpses of promise and had chances - particularly in the second half - but lacked spark n the final third to make a decisive breakthrough

Understandably, it will take Emery time to imprint his philosophy onto the team, but former captain Adams was not happy with what he witnessed on Sunday afternoon

Speaking to talkSPORT he said it was a similar performance fans were used to see during the latter years of former manager Arsene Wenger's reign

"It was the same kind of performance. I was a little bit deflated and disappointed," he said

"Coming from Arsene who always played open attacking football, I really wanted the new manager to come in there and tighten things up

For the last ten years now – [we've been] leaking goals, soft away from home. He also questioned why the Spanish coach failed to start with Alexandre Lacazette, Stephan Lichtsteiner and Lucas Torreira - all of whom he felt shone when they were brought off the bench

The former England international wanted to see Bernd Leno make his debut and see the north London side tighten up defensively

"I wanted him to put his new goalkeeper in, work with his back four, have two screening central-midfield players, and keep a clean sheet

It was crying out for it. But I didn't see that," Adams continued."I thought he got a lot of selections wrong

His three best players were his subs [Lacazette, Lichtsteiner and Torreira]. I don't know why he didn't start with them

He added: "I can't see it. I don't know what he's been doing for the last six weeks

"He's been rotating all of his players and giving them all a game. They've got some good results but it's pre-season

"From minute one, I would've picked my own goalkeeper, my back four and put the two lads in that I want to screen those, and get a firm base that's been missing for the last ten years

"You've had six weeks of pre-season – go on, get on with it!."Arsenal fans up and down the country all want him to challenge for the title but at the moment we're nowhere near

Mesut Ozil also cut a frustrated figure but the Arsenal legend believes Emery needs to build a solid structure around the German to get the best out of his abilities

He continued: "Ozil has no players around him. We haven't got a captain. We haven't had a captain since Patrick [Vieira]

"We haven't had a screening player since Gilberto Silva. They're all individuals, they're not working as a unit

"They need to get some resilience back. Then you've got a base for Ozil to go and do his stuff

I think he's one of the best players in the world and he's going through a difficult period

"But he needs someone around him to say 'come on son, away we go, do your stuff. Adams has never been afraid to voice his opinion - given his affiliation and connection with the club

He was particularly critical of his former manager Arsene Wenger towards the end of his tenure, and fans have voiced their displeasure at his latest comments about Emery, who has only just started life at the Emirates

Bernd Leno was perhaps the most surprising omission from the starting lineup after making

his move from Bayer Leverkusen.

Petr Cech started in his stead and captained the side but appeared to struggle at times

with the Gunners' buildup play.

Now, Unai Emery has revealed why he elected to start Cech over a goalkeeper who is perhaps

better known for his ability on the ball.

"We want the competition between the goalkeepers and also every player in the squad," Emery

said after the match.

"Despite the position, it is the same opportunity and the same chances for all the goalkeepers.

"We spoke also and Petr Cech, he is doing very well.

Today as well, I think he played well also.

He has this experience for continuing to defend our goal.

"Also, Leno is starting with us.

He is working very well, he played well in pre-season too but he has to wait for his

chance to arrive."

So, it doesn't seem like we can expect to see Leno in the starting lineup anytime soon.

Perhaps the German will act as the club's cup goalkeeper for his first few months at

Arsenal.

Caris LeVert explains why he will have a chip on his shoulder this season - Duration: 5:57.

Football News24/7  As one of the many young standout players on the Brooklyn Nets, Caris LeVert averaged 12

1 points, 3.7 rebounds and 4.2 assists in 26.3 minutes over 71 games last season.  On the surface, those numbers might not seem extremely impressive

 However, thrust in the middle of coach Kenny Atkinson's offense that prides itself on ball movement and spacing, LeVert was asked to play a number of roles including floor general, pick-and-roll initiator, wing threat and rim attacker

 A few times, LeVert showed off why many regard him to have a sky-high potential

On December 7 against the Oklahoma City Thunder, he put up 21 points, five rebounds, 10 assists, two blocks and two steals in 30 minutes

 On March 4 against the Los Angeles Clippers, he went 11-of-19 from the field for 27 points and added five rebounds, five assists, a block and two steals in 29 minutes

 Then, on March 31, he nearly recorded a triple-double with 19 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists in 35 minutes against the Miami Heat

 While those individual performances were outstanding, his offensive consistency was also on display all season long

In a 15-game span from December 4 to January 1, he scored in double-figures 14 times

He also recorded 10-plus points in 15 of his last 18 games of the season.  Therefore, there are a lot of reasons why Nets fans should be excited about LeVert's future

He might even be in store for a breakout campaign in 2018-2019.  Despite his success last year, LeVert was left out of the 2018 Rising Stars Game during the All-Star festivities and was also left off of every NBA All-Rookie team after the 2016-2017 season

As a result, he will be using both snubs as fuel moving forward. A chip on his shoulder  "Yeah, absolutely I feel like I was snubbed from that game," he recently told Alex Squadron of SlamOnline

com. "Last year as well with the All-Rookie Teams, I felt like I should've been on that too

That's really nothing new for me. I feel like I get snubbed from a lot of things, but that's just motivation

" LeVert made it clear that he can and will play wherever he's asked this year.  "I'm just preparing myself mentally and physically obviously to play whatever position need be, to do whatever is needed on the court," he explains

"Whether that's the point guard, shooting guard, small forward, whatever it may be

I'm trying to prepare myself mentally for whatever is being thrown at me."  That includes point guard, even though D'Angelo Russell, Spencer Dinwiddie and the newly-signed Shabazz Napier are all on the roster

 "That was good for me to be able to experience because I've played point guard sparingly, but probably never for that long of a span," LeVert explained about his experience playing the point last season

"I was the second unit's point guard for probably 25-30 games straight and I got into a rhythm and started to get very comfortable with that

… So I think going forward that's definitely something that I proved I can do."  It's safe to assume that LeVert will continue to progress in the upcoming season

Judging by his comments above, he will undoubtedly have a chip on his shoulder until he breaks through and receives the recognition that he feels he deserves
