Tonight I am making a spicy Thai dinner. I'm Tess and come join me in my kitchen
while I make spicy Thai green curry chicken. It will be ready to eat in 30 minutes.
(intro music)
I've showed you how I make my Thai red curry chicken and today I'm
showing you the green curry paste. The different curries use different peppers
and spices and each have a unique flavor. I have over a pound of cubed boneless
chicken breasts and you can use chicken thighs. Just lightly browning in my pan
with a little oil and then removing and setting to the side. We will finish
cooking the chicken later.
In the same pan on medium heat I'm adding in some minced garlic and lots of
it, this is the green curry paste I'm using. I buy this at our local Asian
market. If you cannot find this curry paste I will leave the link in the show
more section where you can purchase it online.
The green curry paste really has a nice color, taste and a spicy kick!
Just cooking and stirring for one minute and then I'm adding in the coconut milk and
chicken broth. Turning up my heat to bring this up to a simmer.

you can purchase online some of the ingredients and equipment that I use in
this video recipe. If you have a chance please check it out.
Adding in some fish sauce, brown sugar and a couple of kaffir lime leaves. You can
also get these at your local Asian market and they are found in a
refrigerated or frozen section. I keep mine in the freezer and just pull out a
couple when I need them and tear them into two to help release the flavor. You can
totally leave out the kaffir lime leaves or you could add a little lime zest.
Giving that a good stir and adding in my vegetables. Tonight I'm using some diced
onions, baby corns, carrots, bamboo shoots and bell peppers. Giving that a stir,
bringing up to a simmer, covering and cooking for 15 minutes.
Next I'm adding the chicken and the juices back into the pan, stirring,
covering and cooking for an additional 10 to 15 minutes or until the chicken is
done.
Now I'm fishing out the kaffir lime leaves, adding the juice of half of a
lime and a handful of fresh Thai basil for a pop of flavor. One more stir to
combine and we are ready to eat! I love the spiciness, sweetness, saltiness,
creaminess and deliciousness of this Thai green curry chicken. It is so easy
to make and you can have this comforting meal ready in 30 to 40 minutes. You can

I'm going to show you guys how to fish
some craziness right here.
This is stuff that I've seen on YouTube for
for years.
Well, we've been here for a week and I've learned a lot so far,
I want to share with you what I've learned.
First off,
make sure you have heavy leader line!
Heavy leader line, because if you're fishing around rocks
braid will snap as soon as it touches a rock,
whereas monofilament, flourocarbon,
is very
resistant to snapping.
It can take some damage.
Right now I'm using KastKing
leader line and it's been great,
it's been landing me a lot of fish
and you guys saw us catch these baits this morning
uh, these are perfect
if you want more success
and if you want to start catching fish faster
use smaller pieces
but if you want bigger fish
use bigger pieces--ooh!
Cold!
Okay.
So now, when I cut this crab
I'm cutting the legs off first,
take the body off...
holy crap, waves are getting really big,
take the body off,
cut it in half...
and you see these sections, right here?
Cut along with the section.
Just like that.
So this crab gave me four pieces,
and I thank you, crab, for giving me your life,
you're going to catch my dinner tonight,
and you're not going to go to waste, you're going to
feed my family of seven tonight
so thank you
for giving your life
to feed my family.
See how the hook is hidden?
Perfect.
So before, I've been using small hooks
I upgraded the hook size
and now I'm putting some bigger bait on.
See if it catches a bigger fish.

especially in this kind of craziness,
you wanna fish
by drifting
and you always wanna keep an--
you always want to know where your line is
if you're on the bottom, you're going to get snagged really quickly,
so what we've been doing is drift fishing.
Um,
with drift fishing,
you cast it out
upwards and let it
drift back to you
keeping in mind where the line is at the same time.
Um...
and we've got the perfect rod for that right now,
it's the KastKing Chrome
this is made
this is covered in kevlar,
kevlar is used for bullet proof vests,
so I'm not afrid of
of dropping this rod or stepping on this rod,
the rod itself is made of carbon, very strong,
uh, this is actually
meant for very big fish,
see? Free Drifter.
Exact--this is perfect for what I'm doing right now.
[Erin] Yeah, you were saying earlier that you don't have another rod that could do this, right?
[Brendon] I don't have another rod that can function like this,
not as well for drift fishing
this is the best so far.
um, and I'm using the KastKing Kodiak
which looks small
but it packs a mighty punch,
it can--it has
39.5 lbs. of drag in it
that's a lot for a little reel like this.
I've got 15 lb.

[Erin] It's all so easy to forget that what we're doing
is actually pretty weird for a resort...
Like,
everyone else is just like, lounging around by the pool
and we're decked out
in fishing gear,
climbing on the rocks, and no one else is doing it, so...
[Brendon] I wanted to warn everybody
before they go and try this themselves,
this is very dangerous fishing.
It's not for people who--
you need to be physically ready for this,
not only the sun, the sun will be beaming down on you,
you need to have long sleeves, this is not--
I don't wear this to look cool.
I don't wear this to look cool.
Even though I do look cool,
I don't wear it to look cool,
it's because I'm protecting my skin.
Sun poisoning is one of the top injuries here in Cabo San Lucas
so make sure you wear long sleeves
and a hat that covers your neck.
The rocks here are very dangerous
because the waves are very strong and you don't know if a wave is going to hit you or not,
so what I do
is one: I come during low tide.
Low tide, when the waves are not as crazy,
oh! and my Dad's on a big fish!

know Captain Marvel is the next movie in the cinematic Marvel Cinematic Universe
that's coming out next year in March in an obviously Avengers 4 comes out after
that then we have the first movie in phase 4 spider-man a fatal far from home

first 20 minute of the Captain Marvel movie so bear in mind we've not even got
the first teaser trailer which I'm expecting either in September or October
so take it with a grain of salt right let's talk about it so it appears that
the movie starts with a dream sequence so Carol's dream sequence immediately
wakes up in her quarters in an airbase picks up her name badge somewhere in the
background a deep male voice called her warbird you're up some flight tests for
about a few minutes of of the film her aircraft malfunction and crashed
somewhere a SHIELD agent has the shield logo at his back witness the incident
from a balcony called someone and told them something is up proceeds to puff
more cigarettes a group of shield agents gather on a crash site including a man
who witnessed it earlier this was none other than Samuel Jackson we don't
actually know where he's cause he's called Nick Fury but it says Samuel
Jackson but the body wasn't found now like I said take it with a pinch of salt
this doesn't really reveal anything I mean we know that agents of shield are
going to be involved because we know agent Coulson's gonna be here and we
know it Nick Fury is going to be here so there's not really a lot to say do I
think this movie could start with an act sequence yeah sure it's gonna be like
kind of a Top Gun movie I'm presuming he's I'm presuming the movie was start
like Top Gun she's up flying in the air she has some crash and instead of how
Jordan being like picked I presume she has some crash in the air and then she
wakes up and all of a sudden she's Captain Marvel winds got some insane
powers maybe but she's gonna have to have some like backstory with the Kree
and obviously other things like that so it's a bit hard to believe
do I believe this I don't know but we have covered reddit leaks before with
Justice League infinity war and other movies like that so I just wanted to add
this content to the channel as I will be covering more Captain Marvel movie
information nudes D Rees etc closer to the movie we get but I've come across
this and I've been asked a bunch of times to make it so this is what the
league says I mean does it start with a dream sequence maybe because it could be
Captain Marvel when it starts and it's gonna flashback in the dream sequence so
it could be realistic but it doesn't really reveal an awful lot so my guys

Searching Bills for Fancy Serial Numbers and Star Notes - 10K in $20s - Duration: 3:13.

hey everyone its Rob with Rob finds treasure and I've got five straps of 100 $20 bills
so hoping to find some fancy serial numbers or some star notes something
rare we've had a pretty good run of $20 bills lately but not a good run of other
denominations I actually just finished a $10,000 $100 bill hunt and got nothing
skunked so not gonna post that but hoping to find something in this $10,000
since we traded in that 10,000 worth of hundreds for these that being said
we'll start with the first strap and let's see what we find
and I'll loop you in along the way first strap is down no star notes
we got one trinary zeros twos and threes almost a binary but we'll take it
first find it on this move on the strap to second strap is down all we got was a
broken ladder has every number except for seven and it has writing on it a
I'll pull it aside as a cool fine but still two straps down no real significant finds
third strap is hunted actually gave us a star note 2009 series zero zero four
zero five zero zero two we checking for its print run rarity at the end that's
not a bad find though alright stack number four fourth strap
yielded one find as well it's the straps of one find this one's a birthday note
1992 November 13th on to the final strap let's see what we can find finished the fifth and
final strap and all we got was another trinary kind of good though cuz it's got
five of a kind in there with the fives so that's the best hunt or the best find
of that stack and I'll get you guys a wrap up here in a second
alright five hundred twenty dollar bills checked not a lot of finds at all but
there's some good news here we did it get a couple of trinary's zero
twos and threes and that's kind of a nice one and so is this one with the two
five and six so it's got five of a kind which is always a good find found a
birthday note November 13 1992 so that's a pretty good note and got a beat up
broken ladder which I'm probably gonna toss back but I wanted to keep it as
part of the finds the good news is this 2009 star note is actually only part of
a 640 thousand print run so it's right at the middle of the rarity scale
so it's not bad it's got some inking here as you can see and a little bit of
damage on it up in this corner as well and it crease across the middle
unfortunately but at the end of the day it's still a pretty rare star note
should fetch more than face value despite its condition not the greatest
of hunts but still a lot of fun anyway I still like search and currency because
you never know when you'll find that epic serial number

so it's Friday and a week ago on Friday I was sitting here in the bathroom
getting ready for the day and my dad came to the door and was like do you
have school Friday and I was like no Thursday's my last day of school and
then I have a week and then I start school again because I took summer
classes and it wasn't fun so I'm getting ready for the day and my dad goes
do you want to go to Toronto on Friday he's on the phone with my mom and he
goes and I said yeah and he is like okay he's like yeah she'll go I was like she
was like okay I'll book the plane ticket now so good morning it's a week later
I'm going to Toronto Canada I hope you can hear this sound warning it's
probably gonna get loud all right it's gonna get a little louder
good morning so I was being really quiet because my sister is asleep and
someone's coming outside it's my dad he's sitting outside he's gonna judge me
for vogging but that's fine so last night I went to plug in my Nintendo DS
Lite if you don't know when intended yes light came out well the back of it
said 2006 I'm pretty sure I probably bought it in
2007 so I went out cuz I called them because I tried to plug in my charger it
wouldn't charge like it would charge but like you would have to like hold it a
certain way but the thing is if you like propped it up that way and then you
waited it would turn off and I was like great so I bought it it says a 3ds but
it's actually a 2d s and I haven't even turned it on yet it just charged all
night now it's in here and then have to figure it out so wish me luck on that
and we're going to the plane yes they do
I'm in Canada yay um the lighting in the bathroom is pretty nice I felt so sick
like 20 minutes before the plane the second plane touched down and like I've
been feeling sick like this entire time like we went out to eat and I like

so this is a sweatshirt I got it says Canada and it has the maple leaf and
some birds it has these stripes on the side and I think yeah it has this emblem
because it's like a hoodie sweatshirt and then I got a Canada Olympics
under Jersey it has sleeves and this is so cool it has like the Olympics and
can-can Canadia and this which is very very similar to my UNO one I have which
is why I liked it and then I also got this Starbucks cup so this is my Canada
Toronto Star Starbucks cup and you couldn't see my face that entire time
but that's a fine I don't care and then we got a $10 bill which has the
scratch-and-sniff maple leaf this is a really really new one that we got we got
bomb pops and you can smell the maple when you scratch it and then I also
technically got a Nintendo 2ds and the force awakens Lego game which is very
very fun I am on the level where they're on Takodana so we're about to meet
kylo Ren and I'm excited but yeah that's exciting it's fun so it was a good trip
happy to be home I'm gonna go wash so many clothes and actually sleep

I decided that this series may be helpful to those who
would want to go to Roraima
From getting in on the Brazilian side
and how to do it on a budget
This is for those of you who want to do it without a gu- well I mean no I have a guide
Ok. Its for if you dont want to do it through a travel agency
Because unfortunately they can be pretty expensive
and have high fees
If youre lucky you can get it down to
1, 200 (Brazilian Real) (1. 200 PLN)
aka around 330 US dollars
We're gonna be doing it- for how much?
From about 70 PLN
So for twenty something dollars, and in a sec
I'm going to get into exactly how

So I thought that it'd be fun
to share with you guys some information
on how to get ready for a trip to Roraima
Somehow me and Arthur are doing it all by ourselves
We're not gonna go on one of the group because they typically cost between 300 and 400
US dollars
We've decided to organize it ourselves because that's always an option
So right now I'm gonna show you what you guys are gonna need to bring yourself
For about a 5-6 day trip
to Roraima
That's gonna be about
over 30 km (18.6 mi) one way
because there might be other trails at the top
that we might take a shot at
For what I'm taking on the hike-
So first off, for food, there's 4.6 kg (10.1 lbs)
I've reduced the typical weight of my backpack because I'm leaving a bunch of stuff here in Boa Vista
I'm only taking the essentials so I think that with water
the pack with food
will weigh in just over 15 kg (33 lbs)- I hope.
So I'll be taking
I'll only be taking dry/ dehydrated foods because unfortunately
everything with juice or moisture weighs a lot (and I don't know about you but I'm not trying to break my back)
If youre gonna be taking fruits, I just think that thats not gonna be very practical (no offense to fruits)
because its gonna weigh a lot
and it wont have many calories nor nutrients
in comparison to other things
Ofcourse you should pay attention to how many calories a day your're gonna be burning
The distance that you're gonna hike daily
How many hours a day you're gonna hike
and the number of calories that you're gonna have to eat back
Now that I'm in Brazil, I decided to go a little crazy
I splurged on some items
because its better to be safe than sorry and
I dont want to feel sick on the trip
In terms of how I'm going to map out calorie intake
In general, everything here
adds up to 21,000 kcalories
over 6 days
because its in the mountains, thats 3,500 kcalories a day
divided into 3 meals
(because thats how we're planning out our breaks) so thats 1,150 kcalories a meal
and they're each gonna weigh about 250 grams
Taking into account my weight,
because I've sadly lost some weight,
plus the weight of the pack, im going to weigh around 90 kg (198 lbs)
At that weight, the body, within an 8 hour trek
a day
should be burning around 550 kcalories an hour
times 8
will give us 4,400 kcal a day
so if my
daily intake
is gonna be 3.5 thousand
900 kcals will be deficient
which will result in weight loss
as you may know, or maybe don't know,
you need to burn 7000kcal to shed one kg (2.2 lbs), so you need to be calorie deficient
In this case, 900 kcal a day, times 5
I think that
that's going to be about
2 kg, if all goes well
If worse comes to worst, I'll lose more weight,
but that would suck because I dont have much fat left to lose so I'll only be burning muscle
So that'll be interesting.
Either way, I've never been in the mountains for this long at once
Especially not 6 days
I'm gonna have to be very rational
in terms of portion sizes
for food
What might become an issue after a couple of days,
is that I'll want to eat more,
but I'll have to keep in mind that I'll still have more days to go
and I'll have to stop myself
That's why when you're hungry and in the mountains and you have access to water,
DRINK UP
because sometimes your body may be trying to trick you by making you THINK that you're hungry, when you're really just thirsty
so drink drink drink
Then maybe it won't be as bad.
Also, I'm just gonna add that all of this food cost 160 Brazilian Reais
Which is equal to 160 PLN (43 US Dollars)
So for 6 days, thats twenty something Reais a day (like 6 US $ a day)
so that's pretty good
Its just that thats a lot- well okay not A LOT

So its not tragic
And I'll be drinking this Cachaça
and yesterday was my birthday
So we're gonna have a little par-tay
And that's exactly why we're heading out tomorrow and not today
because it just wouldn't work out

This is how you professionally do it, I mean I wouldn't do it this way
but there's nothing like the hands of a local
that has been doing this all her life
And tapioca is
very cheap here
and its super easy to make these pancakes.
You don't need anything but a heated pan,
and tapioca flour
and that's it.

it's ready to eat. Ofcourse it's better when it's fresh but
in the mountains, ya can't be picky.
But it'll taste 20x better if you're starving
Another super important note
for you guys, if you're going to be going to Brazil
before going into Venezuela, what the official worth of a dollar is
and the worth of a Real is
It's best to ask any border officer.
Remember "what the worth of a Brazilian Real is and the worth of a dollar is"
Why?
Because if you go into Santa Elena, some 21 km
from the border,
once you're in Venezuela
if you're gonna wanna go
say, I don't know, sleep in a hostel
or buy something to eat on the street,
they will rip you off (really really badly)
for a dollar, they'll give you 7 times less than the official worth of it is
in a bank or something
and for a Real they'll give you like 3 times less
So you'll end up losing a lot of money
Today is June 11th, like I said before, and the worth of a dollar is
around 2.5 million bolivars
coming from American dollars
and for a Real
it's 140,000 bolivars
One empanada here costs
250,000 bolivars
so 2 Reais, if you wanna pay in dollars,
it doesn't make sense
because they're gonna want 700,000
instead of 2.5 million, so
negotiate
and just really don't give in
My patience is already running thin
when it comes to that
because the woman will give you the price in Bolivars
which may be like, let's say 150,000
so that's about 1 Real, but she'll tell you "no its 2"
and then you argue
so you have to be strong and negotiate
How to- well how to even
make 370 PLN (100.42 dollars)? How is that even possible?
