ten years of anime! today let's take a
look at the top 10 animes celebrating
their 10th birthday this year!
most of these are definitely anime that
i would recommend checking out. number 10
fate stay night the 2006 Series .this one
is the first anime adaptation of the
fate stay night series. the story for this
chunk of the series, we meet Shirou in
this world. this mysterious infernal kills
Shirou's family early on but thankfully
he saved by the man Kiritsugu.. he
goes ahead and adopts Shirou teaching him
magic and the way of justice. Fate Stay Night
ultimately follow Shirou as he struggles
to find the line between being just a
hero or a killer. i'm just gonna leave it
here and not spoil some of the bigger
plot points.
honestly there's a lot going on in the
fate stay night series. the anime for
this series is definitely worth the
mention but there is some homework
that's highly recommended before getting
into this this series. It's based on the
Fate stay night visual novel so be sure
to look into the visual novel before
starting this anime.
number nine Ergo proxy. Ergo proxy is
this mystery sci-fi type of anime. the
setting of Ergo proxy is one of this
apocalyptic world. a global catastrophe
has devastated the planet earth. the
environment all around is pretty
hazardous to people. human civilization
is now confined to living inside these
dome cities. just to help humans to try
to recover these special humanoid robots
were created. one day with these machines
start contracting this infection that
allows them to become self-aware. the
story of Ergo proxy focuses on Real.
Real is the one assigned to investigate
the strange phenomenon going on. later on
Real find herself teaming up with
Vincent. he's one of these specialists
for these humanoid robots. their team
will ultimately have to struggle to
uncover the mystery surrounding them and
these mythical creatures called proxies.
number eight
Hellsing Ultimate. the world of hellsing
is one were undead vampires rule
the night. standing against them as a
hope for Humanity is this organization
called Hellsing. at the very top of
hellsing this is headed by Integra.
Integra has spent her entire life
fighting the undead and now commands this
powerful army. Her ultimate key weapon is
this all-powerful vampire that works for
hellsing. his name,
alucard. what better to exterminate other
vampires than a vampire himself!
the thing is vampires are not the only
monsters roaming around. the church has
genetically engineered their own
soldiers to stand against any and all
vampires.
this also includes the ones from
hellsing. if you got a taste for vampires
and bloody anime.
this is definitely the show for you.
number seven Gintama. were to even begin
with explaining this series. Gintama takes
place in feudal Japan has been taken
over by aliens.
yes aliens. the story for Gintama focuses
on Gintoki, shinpachi, Kagura and their
adorable humongous dog. i love that thing.
unfortunately for these guys they're
always hurting for money. that's why
they're open to taking any available odd
job that may come their way. you can just
imagine what this means for them. they're
always running into adventures with the
police,
assassins, monsters, and of course aliens. at
the end of the day our beloved group is
simply trying to pay rent and
occasionally also buy some shonen jump.
the final arc for the series is coming up
early next year so definitely get on this!
number six
ouran highschool host club. the story for
this high school anime focuses around
Haruhi fujioka. Haruhi is a super
bright smart student at this prestigious
elite academy.
the thing is he's pretty different from
everyone else here. every student at this
Academy come from a family of world and
connections. It's basically a school for
the rich kids. within this Academy there
happens to be this host club were
handsome guys that got way too much time
spend it by entertaining wealthy female
students. one day
Haruhi suddenly finds himself
indebted to this host club.
Haruhi now has to work off what
about 10,000 u.s. dollars. that host
club is just gonna make him work that
ass. the thing about Haruhi is, he
is actually a she! apparently no one you
that Haruhi was a girl.
it's not like she kept it hidden at
least not before embarking on this host
club adventure.
Haruhi suddenly finds herself becoming
this for full fledged
male host that's working full-time for
this host club. this all just comes
together for some exciting shenanigans. I
definitely love this series!
number five
Black Lagoon. the story for this one
begins with the normal Japanese
businessman.
it's just another day in this boring
life but things are about to get very
interesting for him. while he's away on
this business trip Rock is suddenly
kidnapped by this mercenary Black Lagoon
group. they honestly really don't care
specifically about him.
they just figure Rock could used for ransom
just to squeeze a bit more cash from his
company.
unfortunately for all of them his
company abandons Rock. It's possible that
it might have been from Stockholm
Syndrome but rock ends up joining the
Black Lagoon crew. rock makes a decision
to leave his old boring office job
behind to become a pirate. rock must now
quickly adapt his new lifestyle as a
mercenary. he needs to get himself ready
for things he couldn't even imagine
before.
number for the melancholy of haruhi
suzumiya. good old haruhi! The second
haruhi on this list too. the anime for
this follows the tale of this crazy
silly haruhi and her SOS Brigade
club.
haruhi has just been craving her
entire life to find something
supernatural inner world. she's been
seeking things like aliens, time
travelers, Espers, almost anything is
fair game. being dragged along for the
ride include the SOS members. first off
there's Kyon that haruhi just loves
to delegate chores to. There's also the shy
and timid Mikuru that may not be there
of her own free will.
there is the very quiet Yuki that's
almost always completely focused on her
book. and lasting Itsuki who really helps
to encourage whatever he's doing with
the smile. What's unknown to haruhi is that
only has gathered individuals are
actually the type of people that she
spent searching for her entire life.
one of the very interesting things about
this anime was really just the way it
was aired. the haruhi anime was aired
out of order when it was first
broadcasted. this means there's at least
two ways to watch the show. put all this
together and it just made for a very
interesting tale when it first aired. it
completely let the internet on fire.
number three Negima. this is a second
attempt at adapting the nigga manga this
time though it was even more loosely the
story of negative focuses on the small
wizard negi springfield Meggie has just
graduated from the Academy of magic
he quickly takes off to continue as a
teacher at just 10 years of age equally
as interesting is also the place where
is teaching niggas gonna be starting at
this all girls Academy located in japan
so you got the perfect mixture here
there's a ton of schoolgirls Japan a
small wizard and magical battles all
blended together
what more could you ask for in Nome is
just as enjoyable little tale from the
author of the manga who also roll love
hina a lot of the characters in a game i
embody the characters from love hina to
it's a nice little bonus and I
personally enjoy negima a lot more for
this

in a world where the holy empire of ära
tanya has established yourself as a
dominant world power
unfortunately caught in their path was

completely devastated by brittani japan

So right after I moved to El Paso, I was desperately bored and I had nothing better to do than
to go on dates.
When I first got here, I did have a date.
It was like maybe two days after I got here.
And I go and I pick this guy up.
It turns out that he's visiting from Dallas and he wants to take me to this like fancy
restaurant called Coco Miel which is like right around the corner from my house.

He goes on to tell me that he has several degrees and one of his degrees that he studied
for was psychology and I'm like, "Oh, how cool, I have a friend, DesigningDonna, who
is studying to be a psychologist" and she always does like all these really interesting
videos.
I'm just plugging Donna at this point.
You all know her anyways.

He goes on to tell me how being a psychologist has helped him in his line of work, which
turns out to be fashion design.
He's like a style consultant or something like that and I'm like oh okay so people pay
you money to tell them that they look like shit basically and then tell them how to fix
it and what to buy and what to pay for and you know what to put down their credit card
for.
Sounds like a great gig to me.
Like yeah people pay you money to tell them to go spend more money.
Fuck yeah.
So we're talking and he's like, yeah, you know, like psychology's really helped me and
like I can spot a liar.
I can spot when people are being ingenuine and when people are trying to pull a fast
one on me and I'm like oh my parents they watch Lie to Me all the time and force me
to look them in the eye when I'm trying to convince them that I'm fine when I'm actually
not okay at all.
But he's telling me about himself and then he starts telling me about myself.
And he's like you know I can tell a lot of things about you by the way that you talk
and by the way that you sit and I'm like...

But as soon as you start to tell me about myself, no.

I'm not good with that.

He continues on to tell me about his ex husband and it turns out that he's still married and
I'm like that's cute.
I remember going on dates when I was still married.
I felt like a terrible person when I was doing that.
How do you feel about it?
He then proceeded to tell me that I shouldn't use so much sarcasm because sarcasm is just
a wall that keeps other people out of my life and away from me.
I'm just using it as a defense mechanism because I'm afraid to let anybody else in.
And then I told him that he should go fuck himself and learn to mind his own business.
When he was telling me about how he was going to this like fancy black tie event but he
was going to be catering it like it's a house party but he's catering it but it's for a
friend.
So basically because he's like this master chef he's gonna make all this really fancy
food and you know like serve everybody and he's like you should come and you should be
my date for it because I need like a hot guy to come with me to be like arm candy for me
you know and it's like super dress up and I'm like I don't own anything nice.
Like I am broke.
I have worked in customer service for 90% of my life.
Do you really think that I've got the money to go out and rent a fucking tux for a house
party?
Oh hell no.
I'm also like none of the things that he's talking about like making really appeal to
me on any level.
He's talking about fucking caviar and like I don't know cod liver?
Is that like a fancy?

A whole bunch of fancy food that I've never heard of before.

And I'm like I live off of macaroni and cheese and chicken nuggets.
We went to this fancy ass restaurant and I ordered a fuckin' pizza and you think I'm
gonna go and eat your fancy food wearing a tux at a house party with all your fancy friends
and be your arm candy?
He's like yeah it'll be really fun.
And I'm like I ain't gonna have fun there.
Like I'm not going to meet anybody that I actually want to talk to and he's like well
I mean you know just like probably don't bring up certain conversational subjects that you
know you've brought up on our date so far and I'm like excuse me?
So great.
So you like how it looks but you don't like how it talks and you don't like how it acts
and I'm like I'm sorry that I'm white trash to you but I'm not interested.
Like you can't tell me who I am, not bother to get to know me, at all, brag about yourself
the entire time, insert your nose into my business, and tell me things that I should
not do and things that I should do, invite me to a fancy event that I'm not comfortable
with, and say yeah you'll do great at it.
All you have to do is just act like somebody that's not at all you.
And you'll do fine.
Oh hell no.
I have to give him a ride home after we leave this restaurant and of course we're not talking
the entire way there.
Like I turned up the music like when I got in and everything.
But he decides that he wants to go somewhere else.
He wants to go to this other restaurant and I'm like great I'll drop you off happily.
So we get there, we stop the car, and he gets out and he's like aren't you coming and I
was like no.
And he's like well my sister's inside.
I already told her that I was bringing a date.
I'm like when the fuck were you going to tell me that?
Cause um I was planning on marching my happy ass home.
And he's like well like if you don't want to go in and meet my sister like we can just
go back to my place.

Pet Peeves: DON'T Tell Me About Myself / Bad Date Story Time - Duration: 6:50.So right after I moved to El Paso, I was desperately bored and I had nothing better to do than
to go on dates.
When I first got here, I did have a date.
It was like maybe two days after I got here.
And I go and I pick this guy up.
It turns out that he's visiting from Dallas and he wants to take me to this like fancy
restaurant called Coco Miel which is like right around the corner from my house.
Hello stalkers.
He goes on to tell me that he has several degrees and one of his degrees that he studied
for was psychology and I'm like, "Oh, how cool, I have a friend, DesigningDonna, who
is studying to be a psychologist" and she always does like all these really interesting
videos.
I'm just plugging Donna at this point.
You all know her anyways.

He goes on to tell me how being a psychologist has helped him in his line of work, which
turns out to be fashion design.
He's like a style consultant or something like that and I'm like oh okay so people pay
you money to tell them that they look like shit basically and then tell them how to fix
it and what to buy and what to pay for and you know what to put down their credit card
for.
Sounds like a great gig to me.
Like yeah people pay you money to tell them to go spend more money.
Fuck yeah.
So we're talking and he's like, yeah, you know, like psychology's really helped me and
like I can spot a liar.
I can spot when people are being ingenuine and when people are trying to pull a fast
one on me and I'm like oh my parents they watch Lie to Me all the time and force me
to look them in the eye when I'm trying to convince them that I'm fine when I'm actually
not okay at all.
But he's telling me about himself and then he starts telling me about myself.
And he's like you know I can tell a lot of things about you by the way that you talk
and by the way that you sit and I'm like...
Okay.
Great.
And he's like see like that smile means that you're uncomfortable because you're hiding
something and I'm like...
I mean other than the body, I don't really know what else I'm gonna be hiding...
He's like I just I can tell that you're holding onto a lot of secrets.

Like I'm not really that exciting of a person.
I don't feel like I ever really do anything that exciting that I have to like keep buried
deep inside.
There's no skeletons in the closet 'cause fuck the last time I actually saw a skeleton,

He continues on to say that it's obvious that I have some deep seated issues that I'm not
admitting to myself.

I'm like that's literally just America for you.
He's actually not like opening up about himself at all.
All that he's really doing is kind of like bragging about himself in certain ways.
He's talking about how well he did in school.
He's talking about how much money he makes at his job.
And he's talking about how smart he is.
And I'm like that's adorable.
But as soon as you start to tell me about myself, no.

That doesn't work for me at all.
I'm not good with that.
That's not cool.
He continues on to tell me about his ex husband and it turns out that he's still married and
I'm like that's cute.
I remember going on dates when I was still married.
I felt like a terrible person when I was doing that.
How do you feel about it?
He then proceeded to tell me that I shouldn't use so much sarcasm because sarcasm is just
a wall that keeps other people out of my life and away from me.
I'm just using it as a defense mechanism because I'm afraid to let anybody else in.
And then I told him that he should go fuck himself and learn to mind his own business.
When he was telling me about how he was going to this like fancy black tie event but he
was going to be catering it like it's a house party but he's catering it but it's for a
friend.
So basically because he's like this master chef he's gonna make all this really fancy
food and you know like serve everybody and he's like you should come and you should be
my date for it because I need like a hot guy to come with me to be like arm candy for me
you know and it's like super dress up and I'm like I don't own anything nice.
Like I am broke.
I have worked in customer service for 90% of my life.
Do you really think that I've got the money to go out and rent a fucking tux for a house
party?
Oh hell no.
I'm also like none of the things that he's talking about like making really appeal to
me on any level.
He's talking about fucking caviar and like I don't know cod liver?
Is that like a fancy?
I don't know.
A whole bunch of fancy food that I've never heard of before.
He's like oh yes and it's like flavored with bergomot or some shit like that.
And I'm like I live off of macaroni and cheese and chicken nuggets.
We went to this fancy ass restaurant and I ordered a fuckin' pizza and you think I'm
gonna go and eat your fancy food wearing a tux at a house party with all your fancy friends
and be your arm candy?
He's like yeah it'll be really fun.
And I'm like I ain't gonna have fun there.
Like I'm not going to meet anybody that I actually want to talk to and he's like well
I mean you know just like probably don't bring up certain conversational subjects that you
know you've brought up on our date so far and I'm like excuse me?
So great.
So you like how it looks but you don't like how it talks and you don't like how it acts
and I'm like I'm sorry that I'm white trash to you but I'm not interested.
Like you can't tell me who I am, not bother to get to know me, at all, brag about yourself
the entire time, insert your nose into my business, and tell me things that I should
not do and things that I should do, invite me to a fancy event that I'm not comfortable
with, and say yeah you'll do great at it.
All you have to do is just act like somebody that's not at all you.
And you'll do fine.
Oh hell no.
I have to give him a ride home after we leave this restaurant and of course we're not talking
the entire way there.
Like I turned up the music like when I got in and everything.
But he decides that he wants to go somewhere else.
He wants to go to this other restaurant and I'm like great I'll drop you off happily.
So we get there, we stop the car, and he gets out and he's like aren't you coming and I
was like no.
And he's like well my sister's inside.
I already told her that I was bringing a date.
I'm like when the fuck were you going to tell me that?
Cause um I was planning on marching my happy ass home.
And he's like well like if you don't want to go in and meet my sister like we can just
go back to my place.
And I'm like bye Felicia.
