BLACK PINK helps you learn the REAL Korean ;) - Duration: 8:34.hwiparam Uh hwi param param param (Can you hear that) Whistle Uh whistle, whistle, whistle (Can you hear that)
hwi para para para bam Whistle, whistle, whistle
- Hello, everyone! - Hi! We are back!
(Together) Yeah!
- This is Yoojung - This is Dongyi
- So today, we are going to talk about Blackpink's Whistle or "Hwiparam" which is their debut song
- That's their debut song and in their next album which contains "Playing with Fire," they also revealed the remake version of "Whistle"
- Dongyi, can you whistle? - No...I can't whistle...
* EPIC FAIL *
- No No No - Let me try
* Yoojung's <Whistle> was not very effective *
- You can?!
- Let's just talk about a Korean word " neomu areumdawo"
neon neomu areumdawo (You're so beautiful)
neol ijeul suga eobseo (I can't forget you)
neomu areumdawo... areumdawo is such a beautiful word...don't you think?
- Because it means beautiful...? - "areumdawo" means beautiful
- I'm sure that if you are watching this video, you've heard of this word at least once...
- Because of Psy's... "areumdawo sarang seureowo geurae neo, geurae baro neo"
- Okay! "neomu areumdawo" means...
- I'm pretty sure you guys heard about "neomuhae" in TT! "Neomu" means too much or very!
- So when you use "neomuhae" as an adjective form, it means very!
- So when you put "neomu" and "areumdawo" together, it means you are very beautiful!
- We don't really use "areumdawo" in real life... That's usually used in literary works
- What comes to your mind when you hear the word "areumdawo?"
- Food...?
- Food? - Delicious food...
- No, I think of like...beautiful, really expensive-looking food in Gangnam
- or landscape in Antarctica?
- Something like that? - Yeah...In real life, we use "yeppeuda" or "eppeuda" more commonly
- We are going to teach you some... - abbreviated version of it
- Such as "Se-Jel-Ye"
- meaning..."the most beautiful, pretty woman in the world"
- So it is the abbreviated form for "sesangeseo jeil yeppeun"..."Se-Jel-Ye"
- So the second word which we will be teaching you is "ijeul su eopda" - meaning "can't forget" - unforgettable...
idaero jinachiji mayo neodo nacheoreom nal ijeul suga eobtdamyeon Whoa (Don't pass me by If you can't forget me either, whoa)
- And there is an another word "ibulkik" which is the...
- the combination of "ibul"' meaning blanket and "kick"
- When you are in bed before you fall asleep, there's all the horrible, embarrassing memories that come to haunt you at night
- and you kick the blanket because you are so ashamed...!
- Is there any "ibulkik" example you have or "ibulkik" moment?
- My experience...uh...
- Okay, I was supposed to meet my friend named Woojin who is one of my female friends,
- and she is a girl with really really short hair
- like a guy's short hair?
- and we are really close too! So I thought I saw her at the escalator, and I ran to her!
- And I hugged her from behind, and it wasn't her...!
- It was some random guy with his girlfriend...yeah - Girlfriend?
- No! That's a disaster! - Uh huh...
- and she was like GLARING at me! saying "Who's this girl?"
- Everyone was staring at us because it was somewhat like a scene in a drama
- Love triangle? - Love triangle...That was terrible
- So it was really really embarrassing!
- I had to apologize like four or five times...explaining the situation
- And for my example, I was so drunk one day
- and I texted my ex-boyfriend...
- Ah...What did you drink? Vodka? - I don't know...Soju? And I texted "Jani? (Are you sleeping?")
- "Are you sleeping?" - Ah...Root of all evil...
- and I wasn't able to delete that because it was on KakaoTalk!
- So...If I send a message, I can't delete that...It's gone
- FOREVER GONE
- Did you receive a reply?
- No, I deleted that message
- I'm pretty sure that that memory will haunt me forever - Bad Yoojung!
(Good Bye My Life)
- The next word is "seolleda"
Just whistle to my heart geu soriga jigeum nareul ireohge seollege hae Boom boom (Just whistle to my heart That sound makes my heart flutter boom, boom)
- "seolleda" means "flutter" - Our hearts are fluttering!
- Is there any "Seolleim" moment that you had?
- Yeah! I do! I mean...It's like when I wait for my parcel that I ordered from Internet like food or clothing...cosmetics!
- Lipstick, foundation, eyeliner, eyeshadow...
- Everything - Everything!
- The point about Korean parcel is that they always text us or call us!
-The deliveryman would call you and say "Are you at home"
- like "Are you at home?" - "jibe gyeseyo?" - "jibe gyeseyo?" it means "Are you at home?"
- It's like...such a fluttering moment! - And they send you a message about the time they will be arriving like between 1 and 3 or 5 and 7
- Yeah! 8 or 10! And I always wait for that moment! And we can describe that moment with the word "Seolleda"
- Yeah! Those moments! Before the parcel arrives and you can open it!
- Or like when you order McDelivery and when you are waiting for hamburgers,
- and they say 'Oh! I'll be arriving in 30 minutes..." and I'm like "Oh..." in those seolleim moments
- That 30-minute makes your heart flutter, right? - Yeah!
- The next word is "jiruhae"
saenggakeun jiruhae neukkimi Shh (Thoughts are boring Feelings are shh)
- "jiruhae" means boring or tiring... - Boring!
- You can also use the word "ttabunhae" which is almost synonymous to "jiruhae"
"jaemieopseo"
- In the abbreviated form, we always say "No Jam" or "Haek No Jam" - No Jam~
- Haha, it means...It's really boring that you can't take it any more...!
- "Jam" is the abbreviated term of "jaemi" which means fun
- So if you say "No Jam" it's like saying "It's no fun"
- Like "Jaemi" is absent
- But if you add "Haek" to it, it's like "Haek No Jam"... "Haek" means nuclear, right?
- It means "too much" - As nuclear is the strongest weapon that you could use, you are emphasizing the absence of pleasure by using the word
- Is there any example of "Haek No Jam" moment?
- Oh yeah! 9 am classes!
- You mean the morning class... - Morning classes...
The first period class starts at 9 am and everyone is like sleeping...right?
- We are all like... (Falling Asleep)
- It's not the professor's fault...It's our fault
- No! It can be the professor's fault because if the lecture is boring, who's going to listen to that?
- For me, it's like...you know back in high school in Korea
the principal calls the students and gives a lecture to them...but it's not related to our school life but more to the family, dog, his...
- daily life, hobby - yeah, hobby!
- The way he played golf...I don't know...It's so boring
- Those are really boring - And it goes on and on and on! It never stops!
- That's why we say "Ah...No Jam"
- But it is really rude to use this term in front of people, so just use this when you are describing a situation
- You can say "That situation is No-Jam"
- So you should say that word to refer to the situation to other people
and remind yourself not to use the word in front of your principal or teachers
- And not to individual!
- and since we taught you the word "haek no jam" we are going to be teaching you the opposite word
- which is "kkul-jam"
- the opposite of "no-jam" would be "kkul-jam"
- "kkul-jam!" - or "haek-jam!"
- And there's a song from Dynamic Duo called "Jam" I think you should listen to that song
- It's a really good song - Go to YouTube!
- So! I hope you found this words really useful and actually applicable to actual life
- And we read all of your comments...I'm really sorry that I spoke too fast for you guys
- And I try my best to speak slowly and comments down there told me to speak slowly
- You were like a rapper - Yes! (Dabbing)
- No...I'm sorry...
- We also promise that if you leave comments like questions or opinions, we will be answering each and every one of them
- because we really really want to communicate and get to know you!
- And we really appreciate comments and feedback about our future contents!
- So feel free to write it down! We will look through the comments and we might do a review of it!
- So subscribe for more Kream! - Yeah!
- See you next time~ - Bye~

10 Popular Actors With The SCARIEST Movie Auditions - Duration: 6:17.Since casting is such an integral part of any film, directors will typically hold auditions
for key roles.
This means that even some of the biggest stars in the industry have to try out before they
sign on for a project – regardless of how talented they are.
Sometimes, these screen tests don't always go so well.
It doesn't matter if the thespian in question has won numerous awards throughout their career;
there's always a chance they're just not the best fit for a certain role.
And they find that hard the hard way.
Here are 10 talented actors with the scariest audition stories.
If you like what you see, be sure to subscribe to our channel and give us a thumbs up!
Eddie Redmayne
Eddie Redmayne has received an Oscar for playing Steven Hawking and is now a part of J.K.
Rowling's famed wizarding world, but there is one thing we know he can't do: be a villain
in a Star Wars film.
Redmayne was one of the actors who read for Kylo Ren during pre-production on The Force
Awakens, and it's safe to say he bombed his audition.
Due to the secrecy of the project, Redmayne was reciting lines from other movies and only
knew his would-be character was a bad guy.
He started doing a poor Darth Vader impression and spoke in a funny voice, which didn't
win over the casting directors.
At least he has Newt Scamander.
Aaron Paul
The Breaking Bad star had a minor role in J.J. Abrams' Mission: Impossible 3, so it's
no surprise he met with the filmmaker again while Abrams was working on Cloverfield.
When Paul arrived for the audition, Abrams had the actor tell a story of a cool card
trick he performed during M:I 3, which caused Paul to lose his train of thought.
Instead of delivering a three-page monologue he memorized, Paul had to stop in the middle
of it and apologize.
All Abrams said was 'That's OK.
Thanks for coming in.' and Paul left without the part.
But shortly after he became Jesse Pinkman, so it all worked out.
Blake Lively
Lively looked to make movies at a very young age, trying out for the hit comedy Mrs. Doubtfire
when she was just 5-years old.
Blake's mom didn't want her daughter to get star struck by Robin Williams, so she
told Blake that she'd be reading with the comedian's twin brother.
When Lively walked in, the filmmakers introduced her to the one and only Robin Williams, and
Blake's response was, "You're not his twin?"
You can probably guess how things went after that.
When Blake came out of the room, she told mom that Williams had morning breath and moved
on.
Now that Lively is a successful actress, she can laugh about that mishap.
Chris Evans
These days, people are in awe to meet Captain America, but prior to the actor's Marvel
days, it was the other way around.
Evans met with Ben Affleck to audition for the Boston legend's directorial debut, Gone
Baby Gone.
Upon arriving, Evans became nervous and asked Affleck if the parking spot he chose was OK.
After an awkward conversation about parking meters ensued, Evans was mortified and couldn't
wait to leave the room.
He was so upset that he gave Affleck one-word answers to any question asked and kept rocking
in the chair he was sitting in.
Now that they're both established superheroes, maybe Affleck and Evans can work together
one day.
Chris Pine
Chris Pine made a name for himself as the new Captain Kirk in the rebooted Star Trek
series, but he could have had a role in a different 2009 sci-fi blockbuster.
Pine was in the running for James Cameron's Avatar, but his audition went horribly.
Recalling the experience, Pine mentioned that he went into the room not believing in himself
as he tried to picture Cameron's ambitious vision for the film.
He stopped halfway through his reading, and the casting director was either smiling or
laughing at him.
Neither one would be ideal, and the role of Jake Sully eventually went to Sam Worthington.
Pine has led three successful Star Trek movies, so it's clear he's got talent.
Jake Gyllenhaal
Jake Gyllenhaal has emerged as a chameleon actor capable of completing transforming himself
for a role, but he's steered clear of big-budget productions.
Maybe his awful experience auditioning for Lord of the Rings played a role in that.
Gyllenhaal read for Frodo, but nobody told the actor that the character had an English
accent.
Gyllenhaal recited his lines in an American accent, which didn't please Peter Jackson.
The director told Gyllenhaal to fire his agents and felt it was one of the worst auditions
he'd seen.
This is why it's always best to prepare as much as possible, a lesson Gyllenhaal seems
to have learned.
Leonardo DiCaprio
Leo has played everything from a sleazy stockbroker to a dream thief to a vicious slave owner
in his career, so there's very little he can't do.
Director Baz Luhrmann discovered one limitation of DiCaprio while casting Moulin Rouge: singing.
Leo admitted he feels he has a horrible singing voice, but tried out for the musical anyway.
Luhrmann played piano while DiCaprio sang a tune, and when the Oscar winner reached
a high note, Luhrmann stopped and said, "I don't know if this conversation should continue."
Leo has acted in numerous genres, but this is one he probably won't audition for again.
Some people just aren't cut out for singing.
Bradley Cooper
Bradley Cooper quickly rose to the top of the A-list thanks to a trio of Oscar nominated
performances that made him an awards season mainstay, but before he became a critical
darling, his career could have taken a different trajectory.
Cooper was one of the names considered for 2011's Green Lantern, but the actor didn't
really take his audition seriously.
His screen test amounted to doing an impersonation of Christian Bale's gravely voiced Batman,
when the casting people wanted him to just talk normally.
Cooper didn't get the role, and that turned out to be a bullet dodged.
Now, we're just wondering when he'll win his Academy Award instead of how he'll recover
from a flop.
Daniel Radcliffe
You know the old saying, "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it?"
Even a kind-hearted hero like Harry Potter forgets that sometimes.
While in an audition, Daniel Radcliffe was gossiping about somebody when another person
came walking in the room.
Radcliffe continued his story and when he finished, he came to the sobering realization
that the person he was talking about was a good friend of who Radcliffe had to audition
for.
We don't know which movie this was, but it's safe to say it's not a project on
the actor's IMDb page.
Talk about an awkward situation.
Channing Tatum
Channing Tatum has gone from a pretty boy to a go-to actor who has worked with respected
auteurs like Steven Soderbergh, Quentin Tarantino, and the Coen brothers, but he had a rocky
journey to the top.
Earlier in his career, Tatum auditioned for a role in Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift, but
he forgot the most important lesson: remember your lines.
Yes.
Tatum could not remember the dialogue he was supposed to say during the screen test and
ended up freaking out and sweating profusely.
He obviously didn't get that part, but he managed to turn things around down the road
and become a Hollywood leading man.
Chloe Grace-Moretz
The legendary Martin Scorsese is a director every actor dreams of working with, and when
auditioning for him, there's no limits to what people will attempt to get in his favor.
When trying out for one of the lead roles in Scorsese's love letter to cinema Hugo,
Chloe Grace-Moretz rolled the dice and told the filmmaker a little lie.
The Georgia-born actress told Marty that she was British and tried to pass it off so she
could get the part.
Apparently, Chloe is good at fudging up the truth, since Scorsese cast her in Hugo.
If he was impressed, Moretz did something right.
Conclusion
Those are just some of the worst audition stories from the A-listers.
Which ones did we miss?

Multumesc - Duration: 9:18.[mmm mmm mmmm]
Another year has passed. Last day of 2016... tomorrow
At least it was a fun year for me
I rode at least 11 months this year
So I didn't get a 12month insurance for nothing
I did have incidents. Falling or dropping my bike because
It's impossible to not be dumb at least once in your lifetime
But at least I'm not dead. I still have all my legs, arms and vital organs
And I also got new stuff
So here's to hoping for an even better 2017
It's so nice when it's free and no police
Don't try this at home
I have a new camera, new parts... everything new
And I'm pretty ok with it, to start the new year with new shit
And I should thank some people... a lot of people
Everybody that has interacted with my channel in any way
likes, dislikes, comments and anything else
Plus all the people
I'm in debt to many
AndreiB lent me his camera...
I used it more than he ever did
Cati got me a new rear tire
And of course all the people who donated for the camera
It was superb to see people throwing their money on the internet at some stranger
It was nice. Thank you very much.,
Thank you for all your donations
Even those that couldnt but were there with a message
Ok who else?
Oh AndreiD because he's a bastard
100% bastard
If you want lessons on how to be a bastard go see him
I love the holidays because it's always so free
It takes me 30 mins to work on summers
A couple of days it took me 18 minutes I was like wtf
It's clear everywhere
It's 12am and we're doing 60 on this road
Which is usually bumper to bumper all the other times
I wanted to go for one last ride and see the empty city
It's the only time when you can ride anywhere without queues
I need to make the first fill up... actually the last this year
I'd like to thank Santa
for this nice gift
Iuda because he's still driving his van
A lot of thanks to all the people doing stupid shit in traffic
because I wouldnt have a reason to be here without them
Taxi drivers, bicyclists, old people, women doing their make-up in traffic, people that
People that are on their facebook and sometimes look at the road
I said I won't but I had to
Too many to refuse
I'd like to thank Ninjan
The first female vlogger of our country
NINGEAN FORCE! DONT GIVE UP BRO!`
YOURE DOING GOOD WORK!
DONT LISTENS TO THE PEOPLE THAT SEND YOU HATE ALL OVER FROM ROMANIA
You should open up a hate museum
Or see if you can recycle it
There's something you could do with all that romanian hate
And the last petrol this is gonna be 5.42 (1.20$)
Oh cmon please stop
10 litres 40 are you crazy
cmon last drop
See that girl over there?
That's a real man, riding the bike in the winter
I'd like to thank the guys in Brrrap team
And wish them a happy 2017. This town ain't big enough for all of us
But we'll manage
I'd like to thank the mayor, Gabriela Firea
For doing absolutely jack shit for the city
I think she made it worse somehow
But she has 3 years to do something I hope
That is why we are here. To talk about what she's not doing
And I hope everybody will have a good 2017

From a poor stage actor to becoming GOT-Miran [Sister's Slam Dunk/2016.12.30] - Duration: 16:07.(Very long nameless days)
That must be from "Romeo and Bernadette."
You looked so young then.
- Same as now, right? / - You look the same.
- How old were you then? / - Early 30s.
Really?
This is 10 years ago. You haven't changed at all.
You are really pretty!
Funnier thing is that I look the same 20 years ago.
(Her face doesn't change like an evergreen tree)
You have footage?
- Is that you? / - I don't think so.
That's not Miran.
Is that me?
- That's Miran's nose. / - It feels like me.
Oh, this.
It's a musical.
"Five Drawings About Love."
Look how well she sings.
(A voice that draws you in)
(Relaxed movements)
She looks like Hyunmi, right?
Goodness.
I never thought to myself, "I have to be an actress."
Because I thought only pretty people can do that.
When I was in 12th grade, I decided to act.
Just out of the blue.
Did something happen?
One day in May...
I was late to school again.
I was sitting on the bus and
I remembered something from my textbook.
"Theater is a comprehensive art."
If I did theater, I could do everything I like.
Such as music and I thought it would be fun.
I went to an academy for few months to learn acting.
Then went for the exam.
So you were really talented in acting...
- That's why in a few months... / - No.
The professor accepted me.
But he questioned his choice.
- What are you talking about? / - To be honest...
Everyone said you were superb at acting back then.
I heard that people say that.
- I didn't know. / - When they have showcases...
Miran had parts that required good actresses.
Roles that are hard to do such as aged characters.
There is no doubt you have the skills.
You purely enjoy the stage
and don't weed out such roles.
You did everything to your best.
That's why you are here now.
She's good at any role she is assigned to.
But that's just a nice way of saying it.
To be honest, I was in no position to be picky at first.
I was thankful for any given opportunity.
Everyone is the same, even you.
In the beginning, only the back of you were showing...
- But you were thankful. / - I didn't know that.
- But still... / - Just the back of my head.
- You were grateful. / - My face was definitely filmed...
But only the back of my head was air on TV.
Some program said recently that
my income has increased by 100-fold.
- You? / - Yeah.
If you say it like that, it's over 100-fold.
- Back then... / - How much did you earn?
I earned a few hundred dollars a year.
Few hundred dollars a year?
That's why many people quit.
Some quit because they earned $200 a year.
Sometimes, you don't get paid at all for your work.
Why don't they pay you?
Because they don't have the money to give.
Why did they make the play then?
They thought it would succeed.
- Jinkyung. / - They probably thought...
They'd earn enough from the tickets.
People in theater do a lot of side jobs.
Such as part-time jobs.
Do you know what's funny though?
When you go to the bars at night...
- They drink so much! / - Yeah.
They find ways to pay for their drinks.
That's really fascinating.
- Tab. / - They don't have money for bus fare.
But they are all drinking at bars!
I can understand.
The seniors who succeeded,
those who starred in movies and dramas,
would buy everyone drinks.
You said you'd treat 2 people
but later, there are 20 people you have to treat.
I have a question, you know everything is live...
- The theater, musical and stuff. / - Yes, all live.
You must have made mistakes sometimes...
I made a lot of mistakes but you pretend you didn't.
- Like for me... / - For example?
Once, I was doing "Gone with the Wind" at the Sejong Center.
Lee Deokhwa and Park Sanga played the main roles.
It was a party scene and we were like dancing.
And suddenly a flasher came up.
- At the Sejong... / - Up on the stage?
Yes, on the stage of Sejong Center.
I don't know how he got in but from the side stage...
Goodness.
- And he flashed. / - On the stage?
- There must've been children. / - With an image of...
Maria bleeding from her eyes, he shouted
on the stage, "Don't abort your child!" During the play.
Oh, my...
So the men in the play,
they dragged the flasher off the stage.
And Lee Deokhwa said,
"There still are crazy people like that in the South?"
(Nice cover up from a veteran)
(From the stage to the silver screen)
So later on, Miran gets into film from being in theater.
How did that come about?
The way I started to do movies...
I thought that only pretty people starred in dramas.
But I thought movies might be different.
So when I was in mid to late 20s,
I took profile pictures with a friend.
Someone we knew took them for us.
We searched online and applied.
But we got no replies.
So we just brushed it off thinking we aren't suitable.
We just said let's do our best in theater.
Then after I got married and my kid was
about a year old...
- They randomly called me. / - Over 30?
Yes, past the age of 30.
They asked if I can audition in the afternoon.
My heart started thumping so loudly.
I kind of got this feeling.
- You don't get that with everything. / - Exactly.
I said, "Yes, I can audition today."
They told me to come to Gangnam somewhere.
I was breastfeeding the baby then,
so I got my husband.
I went to Gangnam with the baby.
Even on the way, my heart was racing.
It was racing because I felt like I'll get the part.
I knew that I would pass the audition.
They asked if I can do nude scenes.
I said it was okay.
2 days later, they called to say I got the role.
That was the audition for the movie,
"Sympathy for Lady Vengeance."
That movie was really important to you!
(Just like that, Miran was on screen)
(She left a short but strong first impression)
Just before they started filming,
many actresses auditioned for this one position.
But they needed someone slightly chubby.
In the movie, the witch says,
"I hate skinny girls."
I had to be chubby.
At the time, I just gave birth and I was still swollen.
- So I looked chubby. / - The baby helped you out.
After that first movie, I even did interviews.
Since then, I auditioned indiscriminately.
Whether the role was small or big...
- I did everything. / - Right.
- When was this movie? / - This was right after.
A minor role in "Forbidden Quest."
I saw that!
When did you come out?
I was the Mistress Jeonggyeong.
Mistress that's like a housewife.
- There I am. / - In the middle.
(Perfect description)
I should have made my hair bigger.
Ah, this...
- It's that movie. / - "The Host!"
(The scene that made everyone's palms sweaty)
(Miran showed really believable acting)
- That was you? / - That was you?
Do you die?
I don't die.
She wouldn't die!
- Miran doesn't die easily. / - That was Miran?
I had no idea.
You continuously appear in movies.
(She gets assigned to short roles one after the other)
("HOPE")
("Ode to My Father")
All those movies are what I've watched.
But I've never noticed Miran.
It's like Finding Waldo. It's kind of fun.
I was in about 40 movies.
- Really? / - Yeah.
I took a lot of small roles.
What's the movie that made you famous?
- The one that really did it. / - "Dancing Queen."
- "Dancing Queen." / - I saw that!
It was a first project that I didn't have to audition for.
I watched this because of Junghwa...
- At the screening. / - I've seen this.
(Main character, Uhm Junghwa's best friend)
(Past of the Unnies' ace)
It was a hit with over 3 million tickets sold.
After that movie, I got roles without auditions.
No more auditions.
You're so cool.
Your son...
What does he think about his mom being famous?
- He must love it. / - I don't think he knows.
Of course he knows.
He uses me for my popularity!
He's very adult like.
When we walk together,
someone would ask for a signature.
Then he's like...
(Awkward, proud, happy, shy)
- I know what you mean! / - He gives me room.
He keeps his distance but enough to show
that he's related to me.
My kid is 7 years old and she knew about me
because people recognized me.
Once we got on the elevator and I was in the corner.
So people didn't recognize me.
Then my 7-year-old child said,
"My mum is Hong Jinkyung."
So that people would notice.
At restaurants, there are celebrity signs on the wall.
Then we can just eat quietly and go, right?
"Shouldn't you sign here as well, mom?"
He says that out loud.
So I told him, "Be quiet. Hardly anyone knows me."
Since many people cast you,
you are able to reject some now.
How do you feel now?
I just hope it will stay like this.
Honestly, I feel like I am too popular right now.
- What? / - By my standard.
My goal is to go thin and long!
I don't want to stand out so much.
My life goal is to be ambiguous.
But I'm too well-known now.
I would get hammered down soon.
(Spontaneous dream to become an actress)
(For 22 years, followed it slowly and steadily)
(She has now conquered the world of TV)
(She's a trending actress now)
(Some might say to Miran)
(What more could a nameless actor want?)
The La Miran that I remember...
She is scarily blunt even now.
It's like that.
So when I remember Miran's past...
I can guarantee Miran's future will be even better.
Now that we've talked about Miran's life...
Time flew past us.
Let's just set a day...
- We should set a day to... / - I'll tell you everything.
We just need to spread a blanket here.
Blanket and pillows.
Let's clap for Miran.
You'll know how happy my life is right now.
Everyone worked hard to get here.
Sook too.
Not as hard as this.
Being close to due date and
going to market to sell stuff...
A person has to go through that
to be more successful.
Is that why I am not more successful?
- No... / - You need to suffer more.
No...
- You need to suffer more. / - I'm lacking.
So after 22 years of hard life,
I hope you will achieve another dream.
I've waited so long.
You did.
I waited so long for my turn to come.
What could possibly be your dream?
- She wouldn't pick something easy. / - Yeah.
I bet it's something ridiculous.
What's your dream?
My dream is...
My dream...
As the last dreamer for Sister's Slam Dunk...
Something that can cleanly end this show...
Is she sending us off once and for all?
Cleanly end it?
What is it?
My dream is...
(The guide for Sook's bus tour)
(A power vocalist for Hyorin's girl group)
(Took care of Jessi's parents)
(Worried about the Earth for Jinkyung)
(Now my dream is...)
To use all the money we have.
(Huh?)
(We knew that she was poor but...)
- That's good. / - Wow.
This is a great dream!
- Let's spend it together. / - Let's go eat first.
Spend it.
Calm down.
It's not over yet.
I heard that we have $2,000 left.
You guys didn't spend much while doing your dream.
So I want to spend that without looking back.
There are many choices.
- Rather than using our head... / - I'll build a kennel.
What did I say when we first started?
That you'll build a house.
- How do you build a house with $2,000? / - Is that it?
We made a song with $10.
And we're making documentary with $50.
We can't build a house?
We can't do it!
We can make a casket.
Or we can go camping.
For the last dream, we can go camping and...
Make a big fire.
I have more! Listen!
Remember how we made a single album?
You know when we went to membership training,
we had our commemorative CD.
I still listen to that.
It's best when you feel depressed.
Like that, we can make a carol album.
- Carol? / - Since Christmas is coming up?
Yes, or we can make trot album.
For the elderly, that can be played on highways.
Like a medley.
How many dreams do you have?
Since we have the money!
With that money,
I want to do whatever we can.
So using up all we have is my dream.
- Sounds good. / - You're such an amazing woman.
I'm being serious.
Do you like my dream?
- Yes! / - It's awesome!
We have such a happy dilemma now.
- There you go. / - Reviving our economy...
What should we do?
How do we have so much money?
Wait.
(Total funding and spending for dreams)
She's good at counting money.
How much is left over?
- $2,500? / - $2,515.
We have a $50 note.
Or just take the money and go.
Fleeing with the money as the last dream.
- Just take it... / - Dine and dash.
Dine and dash.
It's not, since I'm the last one.
If you take at the start and don't pay for the end, it is.
I am getting this fair and square.
(How will the last of the money be spent?)
(Back to Jinkyung's dream...)

❄ICELAND❄ Travel Guide | Travel Better In... Iceland! 😍 🌍 ✈ - Duration: 8:53.This is Holiday Extras' Travel Guides and we're here in Iceland.
We'll be giving you all the essential information you need to Travel Better.
We'll be covering money, language, tips on where to go and even how to see the Northern Lights.
But first, here's a bit about the country itself.
Iceland is between the North Atlantic and Arctic Oceans, about a three hour flight north
from London.
Iceland is unlike anywhere we've been before, its volcanic landscapes and picturesque backdrops
create this almost untouched feeling and it'll make you fall in love with the country.
Most international flights will arrive at Keflavik (KEF) airport, which is 40 minutes
outside the capital city of Reykjavik and it's here, where we'll start.
Greyline and Flybus run transfer buses 35 minutes after each landing.
Both services offer a hotel drop off at selected hotels for an additional fee.
They cover most hotels but if yours isn't on there, you can find out which stop is closest
and just walk the rest of the way.
An airport taxi will set you back around 12,000 Krona for the 45 minute journey.
However, self-drive holidays are really popular here and, if this is what you're planning,
then it makes sense to pick up your hire car at the airport, before you head into Reykjavik.
Reykjavik is the base for most holidays in Iceland.
It's the world's most northernly capital city and it's a hub for Icelandic culture.
Reykjavik is the embodiment of the Icelandic culture of proud self-sufficiency and fierce
interest in the arts.
There's no McDonald's or Starbucks here; instead, its streets are lined with independent
coffee shops, restaurants and boutiques.
There's always something going on and the nightlife is legendary.
Don't forget to pick up your free copy of the Reykjavik Grapevine for what's going
on while you're here.
It's worth trying to stay in the centre as a room in the middle puts everything within
walking distance.
AirBnBs and hotels and plentiful but if you're coming in the summer, book in advance because
it can get super busy.
If you want to book a tour out of the city, then head to Laugavegur.
There are loads of tourist information outlets here that can help you with anything you want to do.
After spending some time in Reykjavik, we recommend jumping in your car and taking a
day to explore the Golden Circle.
It's one of Iceland's most popular tours, taking in the Geysir, Thingvellir National
Park and Gulfoss.
If you're staying a bit longer, then the south coast is a must.
Follow the Ring Road all the way to the Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon, stopping off at sites like
Skogafoss, Seljalandsfoss and some of the world's most beautiful black sand beaches.
And of course, don't forget to stop by the Blue Lagoon on your way back.
It's only 20 minutes outside Keflavik airport and it's the perfect way to end your Icelandic adventure.
Getting around Iceland on your own is surprisingly straight-forward.
The main Ring Road connects all the major towns and if you stick to it, you can't
really go wrong.
Now bear in mind that driving here is nothing like driving at home so there are a few things
you need to know…
Summer is the time to do a driving holiday, as the roads will be open and the conditions
will be good with lots of daylight.
The weather in Winter can make driving difficult and once you leave Reykjavik it can get quite
dangerous.
It's not recommended unless you really know what you're doing; getting stuck in a white-out
isn't fun.
If you plan on straying off the Ring Road, then hire a four wheel drive car.
the roads can be uneven and pot-holes are common.
Do not go on F Roads, as hire cars are not allowed on them.
Off-road driving is forbidden as it damages the environment.
You'll get fined around 350,000 Krona if caught.
Speed limits: 50km in populated areas, 80km on gravel roads and 90km on paved roads.
You're required to have your headlights on at all times when driving, even during
daylight.
Some bridges are single lane only; the driver closest to the bridge has priority.
Petrol stations are few and far between and often unmanned.
Fill up when you can and use a credit or cash card for payment.
The Icelandic website road.is has lots of detailed information on driving in Iceland,
so make sure to give it a read before you hire a car.
And remember - you drive on the right!
We're here in November and it's been fairly cold.
The weather today is about 4 degrees and since we've been here we've had every kind of
weather imaginable.
We've had freak rain, ridiculous winds, it's been freezing cold right near the sea…
But as the traditional Icelandic saying goes, "If you don't like the weather, wait five minutes."
and it's certainly true here!
So no matter the season, be prepared.
Always bring wind-proof and water-proof clothing and a good pair of walking boots is essential.
In Winter the temperatures will plummet below freezing so layer up; thermal underwear, hats,
gloves and scarves are a must.
Now temperatures are more forgiving in the Summer, with averages of around 13 degrees
in the south.
Catching a glimpse of the Northern Lights is a big reason why people come to Iceland,
so here's a few of out tips for the best possible chance to see them.
Winter is the best time to go, as the nights are longest at this time.
It'll be freezing cold but you can't see the lights unless it's dark.
Go for as long as possible.
You'll often have cloud cover in Iceland.
We were there for two weeks and only managed to see the Northern Lights twice.
Your best chance is to go somewhere where there's no light pollution so get out of
the city and go somewhere dark.
We used the Icelandic weather website, belgingur.is.
We found it the most accurate for predicting cloud cover.
White areas show where the skies are clear and this gives you your best chance to see
the Northern Lights.
The second website we used was the Icelandic Met Office.
Now this gives you the aurora forecasts, the stronger the better, sunset times and moonrise
times.
This just means that you can plan for when it gets dark.
Now we're in downtown Reykjavik and we're in a restaurant called Laekjarbrekka, and
they've given us this traditional Icelandic platter to try.
So I'm just going to talk you through a few things that are on there.
We have the smoked lamb on flatbread, wind-dried fish with seaweed, gravlax, which is like
a salmon, and this is fermented shark, which some of our crew have already tried and assured
me it's disgusting.
I'm not even going to open it up because the smell is overwhelming.
But this is why, when you have fermented shark, you chase it with Brennivin, which is the
original Icelandic spirit.
Anyway, here's a look back at all the food that we've had during our time here.
The currency here is the Icelandic Krona and, right now, £1 will get you roughly 130 to
140 Krona but you can check this on xe.com and they have a handy app too.
Anyway, here's a breakdown of our costs since we've been here.
Our flights were around £60 each way; Our three-bedroom AirBnB apartment in Reykjavik
was £414 for two nights; Our car was £850 for 8 days with two drivers.
This includes collision damage waiver, sand and ash cover and gravel damage cover;
Fuel was roughly £1.67 per litre; Iceland's National Parks and landscapes
are all free to enjoy; An ice cave tour will set you back roughly
£130 per person; Our hotel rooms in Vik were £143 each per
night; Prices at the Blue Lagoon start from £33
in Winter to £42 in Summer.
And don't forget, if you spend over 6,000 Krona on clothes and souvenirs, you can claim
14% tax back.
Just keep your receipts and show them in the refund office at Keflavik airport.
Finni has been helping us with our filming in Iceland and he's kindly agreed to teach
us some Icelandic, so let's do it!
I love that one…"Já"
"Talar thu ensku?" Yeah…
That was pretty good!
Thanks!
This is my personal one:
How do you say the numbers? So, from 1 to 10?
And how do you say the big volcano?
So, as you can see, Icelandic isn't the easiest language but massive thanks to Finni
or, Takk?
Verði þér að góðu!
So that's our essential guide to Iceland.

Miran's newly-wedded days [Sister's Slam Dunk/2016.12.30] - Duration: 13:45.(One day in fall, somewhere in Seoul)
(Nobody seems to live here)
(A deserted house)
Are you filming a horror themed show?
MC Homi...
No makeup...
- Where are we going? / - What is this place?
Is someone coming out from there?
Jessi.
Whose house is this?
What neighborhood is this?
I slept on the way here, so I don't know.
- Is this Seoul? / - Here...
We don't know. Is it Seoul?
Could it be Director Jang Jin's house?
(Welcome to today's stage)
What is this house?
Do we go in here?
- Is someone there? / - Gosh!
It's here.
Look at all the Chinese characters.
There's so much baby scribble on the wall.
- Really? / - Goodness.
Are we shooting the movie here?
What's going on? It looks cool though.
(They sit first to listen to what's going on)
Are there any chairs?
(Jinkyung doesn't want to sit)
Jinkyung, here. Sit down.
- Jinkyung, unzip your bottons. / - Unzip it.
No, no.
- I'll just sit like this. Is this okay? / - No...
Why can't you sit?
- Her pants are too small. / - It's too small.
- It's too tight. / - Too small.
Can't you unzip your pants a little?
- That's what I said. / - Here?
If I do that, the pants just flops open.
Just let it flop and cover it up.
Should I just zip down and cover?
Do you want to wear this?
It's not like we haven't seen it before.
I'll look around for a blanket or something.
- No... / - Just wear the blanket.
She unzips whenever we eat.
- Are you okay now? / - Yeah.
You look like Sim Yanghong today.
- What are you talking about. / - Seriously.
So did Jessi really meet Ha Jungwoo?
Yeah, I heard you did.
You dressed really pretty then.
(She met Jungwoo at an event venue as a guest)
He is so nice and his voice is really manly and deep.
When he met me, he threw away his script
and did this to me.
- What was that? / - To take a photo?
Oh, he threw away his script to take a photo with you?
(Overthinking)
Are you sure he just didn't like the script?
Are we here to camp together?
This isn't a shoot location for Hong Jinkyung Show.
Oh, really?
Jinkyung looks like she has no idea.
What is this place?
It's where the new dreamer
will announce her dream.
La Miran started out here!
(There's only one new dreamer left)
(She has waited a long time)
(Let me dunk too now)
(In order to fulfill the other member's dreams...)
(She worked so hard)
(The patient, last dreamer)
(La Miran)
Is Jinkyung's dream over now?
We've done enough for her.
Wait a minute.
I get it's her dream but
what about my dream?
Is it a dual thing?
- No, that's not it... / - They've given up on yours.
We gave up on your dream.
- No, that time... / - The Director won't give up easy.
Not all dreams come true.
We can't get in contact with Director Jang Jin.
It's because of you.
In order to complete the Hong Jinkyung Show,
we need more time.
When we were doing Sook's dream,
we worked on my dream.
It was like a collaboration.
That's right!
That's nice.
The dreamer for this turn...
Only person left is me.
(The place where we'll reveal a new dream)
(Sook, KBS comedian room)
(Hyorin, JYP practice room)
(Jessi, Karaoke room)
(Jinkyung, MBC room)
(They were where they grew their dreams)
(What's with this empty house then?)
Let's ask. What is this place?
This place...
Is where I started my newly-married life.
Goodness.
My first home.
- Really? / - 15 years ago.
- I started my married life here. / - We made fun of it.
- In 2002. / - Your first home as newlyweds.
- I didn't say anything bad. / - In 2002?
When I first moved into this place,
the house was already 20 to 30 years old.
There were other tenants here...
I reckon houses like this are very amiable.
- Yeah. This kind of door handle! / - It's so cute.
And these switches!
Nowadays, they don't have these anymore.
They're hard to find.
I think it'll be pretty if you decorate well.
- Yeah. / - This is nice...
If you know when you were here...
Is that you?
Goodness!
My goodness.
Don't I look like someone?
You got married in 2002?
Your shoulders are so pretty.
I concentrated on showing my collarbone then.
Who made the first move when you first met?
My husband.
I want to hear story on how you two...
When I was doing a musical called "Dracula"
with Shin Sungwoo, he was his manager.
So I always saw him and we became friends.
First as friend.
Then I got injured.
A colleague was practicing a dance and
hit my neck like this...
I got hit and got a huge bruise.
That must have hurt!
- I thought... / - You must've been hit really hard.
My life as an actress was over because I couldn't talk.
I returned from emergency room.
He was so antsy and asked about my well-being.
He got me a drink and stuff.
That night, when I was going home...
He called and said he liked me.
(Timidly confessed through a phone call)
(So they dated for one and a half years)
(Then got married!)
You guys must have been super lovey-dovey!
- Yeah. / - As newlyweds...
With a man you love, the world...
- Why, Miran? / - Wherever you go...
- Why? / - What's wrong?
- What's the meaning of your tears? / - My marriage...
It wasn't so sweet at first.
Why?
I was acting in theater then.
For my husband, after we got married,
the music industry was in a time of transition.
We were both having a hard time.
So when we were about to move out of here,
we could barely pay the electricity bill.
Because we had no income.
Then when I got my first baby,
we started living with my family.
I wonder, what if we ended up living well there.
When I lived there, I really liked the space I had.
It suited me. I liked it.
We were just at our worst when we lived there.
So it hurts when I think back to that house.
I was acting at the theater then got pregnant.
My stomach got big so I just stayed home.
So what I did was...
I went to a flea market.
- In winter... / - Did you sell something?
I took things like clothes and sold things there.
You did?
- When you were pregnant? / - Yeah, yeah.
I sold clothes that I didn't wear.
You have to line up from 6 a.m.
You get in line for a ticket for a booth.
In this small booth,
I'd lay out my stuff like jeans and sell them.
That was your income?
That was my income.
With that, I bought food.
You didn't have savings?
How do you save while acting and doing musicals?
You didn't get paid most of the times.
They would promise a pay but take out certain fees.
So you'd get into disputes and stuff too.
In a small theater...
Geez!
Why do you do that during a sad story?
What's with this door?
This door didn't close since back then.
- From when you lived here? / - Yeah.
I feel like you are the type to
not close the door when using the bathroom.
I do that too!
Because of claustrophobia.
Your husband must've been really sorry.
But at the time, I think he felt that...
Because he has a family and I was pregnant,
he felt pressured by responsibilities.
And that made him get into weird stuff...
He was chasing money.
- To make money somehow. / - He shouldn't have.
So he caused a trouble when we were living here.
What? What was it?
And he was on the news for it.
What did he do?
You know the game money back then?
- Yes, online games... / - Earning through...
So they use many computers and...
- Run it continuously. / - Yeah.
And sell it for real money. His friend was doing it.
My husband wanted to do it with him.
So he took my cards and everything and...
- Borrowed thousands. / - When you already poor.
And he started that. Within the first few months
He was caught and got dragged to the station.
- My father in law... / - While you were pregnant?
He's a policeman.
- Your father in law? / - He's a police.
- Oh, my God. / - At the police station...
He was in the detention center.
So when I was 5 months pregnant,
before this went over to the court,
I managed to get him out.
Not knowing, since his friend was doing it...
- He borrowed money to do it. / - He just wanted...
To earn money.
He wanted to earn money.
I can understand that he wanted to earn money but...
I do too but I was getting calls from the creditors.
But we didn't have the money anymore.
(Soon, her fellow actor's testimony)
There was a time when Miran stopped acting.
- After I gave birth. / - Yes, for a time...
She would tell me how much she wants to return.
That feels like it was yesterday.
So I'd always go to Hongdae.
I'd carry my clothes there...
And it'd snow. How pitiable is that?
It wasn't even a market day.
I was wearing this huge overcoat
while sitting there like this.
And the owner of the shop in front of me
must've pitied me, he came out and bought
a scarf that he'd probably never wear.
Imagine how tough it must've been for my husband.
- It must've been so hard. / - He tried everything...
But nothing worked out.
- There are times like that... / - Right.
- When nothing works. / - Nothing worked out.
You must have been in pain just watching.
That was more difficult than the living situation.
He felt really useless back then.
Jinkyung is crying!
That's not it.
If you cry, you're breaking the contract!
No...
This is Miran's dream so it's okay, Jinkyung!
- It doesn't matter. / - The thing for me is...
You know how she's good at everything and strong.
I get scared at anything and everything.
But Miran is steadfast.
I always wondered how she can be good
at everything and be so strong.
There was a reason for it.
But seriously...
You went through a lot to make you that strong.
Crying from someone else's history...
The thing is...
The dream thing is besides the point.
We're so into her life story.
It's no ordinary story.
When you have a baby,
instinctively you become worried more and unstable.
But really, for Miran...
She had a baby in such situation.
It must have been difficult and frightening.
Did you see the stairs up to the house?
After the story, we went down it together.
She said, "I remember how hard to climb these stairs
when I was near due date."
My husband is a good person though.
The things that made me determined to marry him...
He can't drink alcohol.
That's so good.
So he'd never get drunk and do something stupid.
He's good to the elders.
I'm really bad at that stuff.
- Being nice to them... / - Like being affectionate?
I'm bad at that.
He's the one that disciplines me.
Like asking if I've called my mom.
Asking if I've looked out for her.
Even if they earn a lot of money,
there are so many people who
ignore their in-laws!
Why are you so upset?
Jinkyung! Calm down!
No, no.
My husband is not like that.
My husband is good.
Maybe after 10 years,
the husband might do even better than you.
There could be a time when I will need his help.
You never know what will happen.
What does your husband do now?
He does something related to real estate now.
Then he's working hard still.
He looks much better now.
That's good.
Did you guys pay off all the debt yet?
- We still have it. / - Even now?
It hasn't been long since I started earning money.
For how long were you nameless?
About 22 years.

What is the difference between being on key and on pitch? - Duration: 5:45.Hi I'm Chuck Gilmore with Power To Sing.
Today I'm doing this video from Brooklyn, NY.
I'm visiting family here for the holiday season, approaching the New Year in a few
days, and this afternoon I'm in my daughter's apartment in Brooklyn.
So the back gound's a little bit different.
The video's a little bit darker.
I've got a candle for light and another lamp in front of me.
So that does change things a little bit.
I hope you enjoy this video on singing on pitch and singing in key.
What's the difference between being on key and on pitch?
Hi, I'm Chuck Gilmore with Power To Sing.
I recently received this question.
Question: "Can you please do a video on singing on key?
I'm a beginner and don't even know what this means.
I understand what pitch matching on a piano is but not what singing in key is.
So could you do a ...video on this?
What is the difference between being on key and on pitch?"
Answer: People often use " on key" and "on pitch" interchangeably.
Technically there's probably a difference.
Western music is written and performed in different keys.
For example, "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" might be written in the Key of C Major.
If, while you are singing, it was too low or too high, you can raise or lower the key.
Up a whole step would be the key of D Major.
Down a 1/2 step would be the key of B major.
The tune you hear would be the same, except the key is raised or lowered.
In any of these Keys, B major, C Major or D Major, if you sing one wrong note, you would
be singing in the correct key, but singing an incorrect pitch.
If you miss several notes, you incorrectly sing several pitches.
This creates a dissonance.
For example the key of C. [Demo] Key of C. Now if I sing the incorrect pitch in the Key
of C it might sound like this.
[Demo] So I got back to the key, but within that I missed several of the pitches.
Now I could sing, [Demo] So I sang again in the key of D but I missed a pitch or two there.
Or I could sing it in the key of B. [Demo].
So I missed a pitch but I was singing in the key of B.
The pitch that is being played and the incorrect pitch you are singing fight against each other
and it sounds wrong to the listener.
If you only missed a few of the pitches, it could be said you were singing in the right
key, but sang several of the pitches incorrectly.
If you sang all of the notes incorrectly so the listener couldn't recognize the tune at
all, it might be said: "the singer sang so off pitch I couldn't recognize the tune or
the melody, nor was there a recognizable key."
For example if I said: [Demo] I wouldn't recognize that as "Twinkle Twinkle Little
Star".
In other words, there were so many wrong pitches the key couldn't be determined either.
On the other hand, if you missed several pitches but sang most of them right, it could be said,
" I could tell you were in the Key of C, but you were off pitch on several notes."
Key of C [Demo] So we might recognize the key, but there were several pitches off.
You can be off pitch on several notes in any key.
Singing on the right pitch is important.
Even marginal singers, if they can sing on pitch, can have a great career and huge numbers
of fans.
But singers who miss the pitches don't succeed.
Knowing your vocal type and singing on pitch is vitally important.
Go to PowerToSing.com and take the vocal test which I call the PowerTest.
Take the quiz and discover your vocal type.
This reveals what you tend to do when you sing through the first bridge of your voice.
For example if you tend to pull chest voice, your vocal type is Pulled Chest-High Larynx.
Go to the Knowledge Center and watch the videos about your vocal type.
Download the free exercises and start practicing them.
If you do not sing them on pitch, you will not maximize the benefit from the exercises.
You must be careful to match the pitches of the exercises with your voice gain the most
benefit.
I'm Chuck Gilmore with PowerToSing.com.
You can sing higher with beauty, confidence and power.
I'll see you inside the next video.

Top 5 Most Expensive Luxury Condos in Arlington VA That Sold in 2016 | Penthouse Condos in Arlington - Duration: 10:43.How's it going everyone?
Matt Leighton, welcome back to another video.
In this video, we're going to be talking about the top five most expensive condos that sold
in the year 2016 in Arlington.
It's the end of the year.
I don't think any condos are going to sell tomorrow that will make the list.
So without further ado, what I want to do is get into the top five most expensive condos
that sold.
I have my laptop down here that I will be jumping into and doing the screen capture
for.
So you guys get the audio, and then you also get the pictures, you get it all.
Let's take a look at the top 5 condos that sold in Arlington right now.
Here we go, number five is, you guessed it, Turnberry Tower.
Alright, let me give you the essentials and then we will take a look at the pictures.
So, $2.41 mil. two bed 2.5 bathrooms.
This one is 2,400 square feet.
It's on the 24th floor.
2408.
You can see that it closed in August.
August 16th.
I'm so glad I started with the first picture.
Here we go, I am going to just click through this very quickly.
There we go.
Boom.
Look at that.
Look at that.
That is nice.
I like the sleek, white modern upgrades.
Remember, Turnberry Tower didn't really have floors when some owners bought them so lots
of customizations available.
I know this is going to have a few.
I just want to get to it.
There's the office.
There's the dining room.
More interior shots.
Guys, just give me the view.
Where are we at?
This is a ridiculous unit.
And this is just number five.
All marble bathroom.
That's the master bathroom.
This looks like the second bedroom.
What does that say?
Connoisseur of Chaos.
Alright, not quite sure what that means.
That would be a good name for a band.
A good band name.
Okay, here we go.
So this is the large balcony with the view.
Kind of a different view than what I was expecting.
A lot of times at Turnberry Tower, you get the Georgetown and Potomac River view.
This one, let's see.
That would be Highgate.
Obviously we have the Potomac River right there.
That would be a bathroom.
Yeah, that would be a nice view.
Of course you got the pool and all the amenities.
That's the fifth most expensive one.
That's just number five.
$2.41.
Let's go to the 4th most expensive which, oh!
What do we got here?
We got The Odyssey.
Alright, so we have The Odyssey.
#1507 coming in at a cool $2.5 million dollars.
Three beds.
3.5 baths.
Guys, three bedrooms for a condo is just absurd.
It's so hard to find.
So this one closed almost a year ago in February for $2.5M.
And let's check it out.
Pick em up (Dumb and Dumber)
So, The Odyssey, you get the view.
Turnberry Tower...don't buy that for the view.
It's going away.
But The Odyssey.
The Odyssey has the views.
So living room.
How many square feet are we at?
3,100 square feet!
That is unbelievable.
Pictures are not going to do justice.
Let me just say that.
I can just keep scrolling through.
Very large kitchen.
I like that.
Lots of fireplaces at The Odyssey.
You're going to notice that.
People love fireplaces.
I don't know.
The developer loved fireplaces.
I don't know if people love fireplaces.
I'm seeing.
There we go.
This is what I wanted to see.
Balcony.
Facing the right way.
And you get the view that's not going to go away.
Check it out.
Rhodes Hill Square.
Condos.
Gaslight Square; condos.
Wooster Mercer; condos.
Apartment building; that's probably Parc Rosslyn.
Corinthian, 1401 Rhodes.
1423 Rhodes condo.
So all of this...this isn't going anywhere.
So you get this view for infinity.
You get it for a very long time.
And then of course you get the rooftop pool.
And you get the rooftop view.
They better have the rooftop view.
If you don't have the rooftop view in your listing...well they already showed the rooftop
view.
So, The Odyssey comes in at...number four.
Let's move to number three.
You want to guess what condo it is?
You got it.
Number three is, we go back to Turnberry Tower.
I hope no embarrassing emails or anything pop up.
So, let's give you the basics.
$2.55 million.
So we're slowly making our way upwards.
Very slowly.
2 beds.
2.5 baths.
We're on the 21st floor.
You get the den.
This one closed in February as well.
Lots of earlier-in-the-year condos that closed.
it came with 2 parking spots.
We're not going to dig too deep.
Condo fees - $1,700.
Just for the condo fees.
That's not even the mortgage.
That's just to be apart of the condo.
Great, let's go.
This one looks familiar.
I feel like I have been in this one.
This one is excellent.
And this view is just incredible.
There's no other way to put it.
Look at this bathroom.
When you're staging with furniture in the bathroom, that's how you know you've got it
made.
Really nice bathroom.
Of course, I remember this one.
Look at that.
What's that right there?
That is a Jaromir Jagr, circa 2002-2003 jersey.
When I went to the open house for this one, the listing agent wasn't there but his assistants
were and I asked the ladies, "Hey, I like everything about it."
And they're like, "Oh, great!"
"But one thing I didn't like was the Jagr jersey!
I don't like a fat #68 in that property."
And they just gave me a blank stare.
No response at all.
Nothing, no face changes.
Just a nice smile like "I have no idea what that guy just said but I hope he stops talking
to me soon."
Not a fan.
Kris Beech, nothing against Kris Beech but that was just a horrific experience for Jagr
in D.C.
Anyways, let's move on to the balcony.
So Key Bridge, entrance to Georgetown.
Potomac River.
Look at that.
You can't even see where the balcony ends.
It's just a ridiculous unit.
So here we go, this building, you just have to imagine two of these buildings stacked
on top of one another because the Rosslyn Sector plan will encompass this view.
It will block the view.
That was number three.
2 bed and den, $2.55.
Turnberry Tower unit.
Let's go to the number two spot.
You want to guess the condo?
They're both Turnberry Tower.
What do we got?
Oof!
$2.7 3 bed 3.5 bath and all the saturation that this picture can handle.
$2.7 mil.
Sold in, oh just recently, just a couple weeks ago.
$2.7, 2,600 square feet.
23rd floor.
The balcony is ridiculous.
You get the private elevator.
All of these at Turnberry have private elevators.
Notice the different floors.
Been in this one.
When I'm walking around for these broker's opens, I'm trying to give feedback.
I'm trying to say, "Hey, maybe you should think about doing this..."...you can't.
Everything is perfect.
Everything is so well done.
This bed looks straight out of a magazine.
Just perfectly executed.
I like the touches of color.
That's kind of cool.
I'm kind of into that.
Even the second bedroom is good.
That's number two.
$2.7.
3 bed, 3.5 bath.
Do you want to take a guess at the price of the most expensive condo that sold in Arlington?
$3.7 million.
3 beds, 4.5 bathrooms.
Why do you need 4.5 bathrooms in a condo?
I don't know, maybe you have 4,400 square feet of living space.
This one sold just after Thanksgiving for $3.7 million dollars.
3-car garage.
It's 4,000 square feet.
It's a house in the sky.
You don't get four balconies.
I'm not sure which balcony is yours.
Living room, dining room, kitchen, bedroom...
Look at this.
You can't really see it that well.
When you're staging a bathroom, with a couch.
Are you kidding me?
That's ridiculous.
Second bedroom, third bedroom.
I'm losing track of the bedrooms.
You cannot justify $3.7 million in 10 pictures.
I fully believe it's worth $3.7M or more than that.
You can't really put a price when you get up this high.
And then you get the stock pictures at the end.
Cool.
That's it.
Those are the top 5 most expensive condos that sold in Arlington in 2016.
We had four at Turnberry Tower topping out at $3.7 million.
And then we did have one in fourth place at The Odyssey condominium in Courthouse.
So, that's all I got for you. Those were the top five most expensive condos.
Be sure to stick around and watch the next video which will be the top 5 houses that
sold in 2016 in Arlington.
Thanks for watching.
Until next time, create a productive day.
Take care.

A tsunami (plural: tsunamis or tsunami; from Japanese: ??, lit. "harbor wave";[1] English pronunciation: /tsu?'n??mi/[2]) , also known as a seismic sea wave, is a series of waves in a water body caused by the displacement of a large volume of water, generally in an ocean or a large lake. Earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and other underwater explosions (including detonations of underwater nuclear devices), landslides, glacier calvings, meteorite impacts and other disturbances above or below water all have the potential to generate a tsunami.[3] In being generated by the displacement of water, a tsunami contrasts both with a normal ocean wave generated by wind and with tides, which are generated by the gravitational pull of the Moon and the Sun on bodies of water.

You must be careful to match the pitches of the exercises with your voice gain the most
benefit.
