Hi there guys I am Nikhil from Greedytech and this is the comparison of Lenovo vibe
K5 Note and Moto M
These two phones are made by Lenovo, and Moto M is just sold with the moto Logo
So in terms of after sale support, both the phones will be treated equally
So you can forget about that
Lenovo vibe k5 note starts at 12000rs and moto m starts at 16000rs
Both the phones are sold exclusively on Flipkart,
Both the phones have a metal build, but K5 note has a metal back with plastic strips
on the top and bottom
Moto M, comes with a complete unibody metal design, with a 2.5D curved glass on the top
It looks very premium and feels good to hold
Both the phones have camera bump and will get scratched easily, so get a good case to
protect the camera lens
In terms of design and build, there is no debate, Moto M wins undoubtedly
It looks and feel more premium, I just wish it was available in different colors
Both the phones have very similar hardware Both the phones come with all the basic sensors,
led notification light, OTG support And fingerprint scanner on the back at the
same position, both are equally fast,
But on K5 note, we have additional features like
We can take pictures using stock camera app We also have single tap and long press gesture
On Moto M, there are no gestures as of now
Both the phones support dual sim, with dual 4g and VOLTE support, and both come with hybrid
sim slot So you have to choose between a dual sim phone
and expandable storage If you want dual sim phone and additional
storage, you can choose the 64gb variant of Moto M
In terms of display Both the phones come with a 5.5-inch FHD IPS
displays both are good for a normal user
They have good colour reproduction and good sunlight legibility
But if you want additional features like options to change display picture quality, double
tap to wake or Night mode features K5 Note will be the winner
If you don't care about those features, then it's a tie in display round
On the rear K5 Note comes with a 13mp camera with f2.2 aperture PDAF dual tone dual led
flash And a 8Mp camera on the front
Moto M comes with a 16mp camera with f2.0 aperture PDAF and a led flash
On the front, we have an 8mp camera
Both the cameras are pretty good For rear cameras
Moto m comes with wide angle len and produces much sharper images
Both the phones have equally wide angle front facing cameras, but moto m has better dynamic
range
In terms of overall camera performance, Moto M does a better job
With better dynamic range, slightly saturated colors
But the difference isn't too huge
So Camera should be a deciding factor
K5 Note comes with a Mediatech Helio P10 processor and Moto M with the upgraded version of P10
called P15 Moto m comes in 2 variants
3gb ram and 32gb internal storage and 4gb ram and 64gb internal storage with a price
difference of 2000 And that extra money is surely worth it
K5 note comes in 2 variants too, but you get only 1gb of additional ram for an additional
1500 rs, nothing more than So the upgrade is totally not worth it
these are the benchmark scores And as you can guess, Moto M is obviously
more powerful than k5 Note Moto M comes with the better performance and
better graphics, So no matter what you do, play games, or for
regular usage, Moto M will always have more raw performance than k5 Note
Game experience on both the phones is average, Both the phones will struggle while playing
High-end games, but for normal games, it won't be a problem
Both the phones get warm, on high usage, and while charging, but there are no heating issues
For an average user, both the phones will be good for the upcoming 2 years,
But Moto M will perform noticeably faster due to the software optimization
Now this where you have to pick a winner It's all about what you want
Both the phones come with Android Marshmallow out of the box
Moto M has pure stock android, With literally no features to talk about
But it is buttery smooth and very responsive
K5 Note comes with a skinned UI called Vibe UI,
It's not stock android but looks decent enough It packs in all kinds of features, ranging
from screen and fingerprint gestures, to multi-user, secure zone, VR mode
But K5 Note is not very responsive, this is something you can observe if you have used
high-end phones or moto phones
Now if you want a very responsive, UI, then Moto M is the winner
If you want more software features, to customise your phone, K5 note is the winner of this
round But we don't know about K5 note, but Moto
M will get Nought very soon And it will bring in few UI changes and multi
window
K5 note comes with unique features called VR mode, that splits the screen into two halves
and you can do anything in this more Play games, watch movies
If you plan on watching only movies, you can use an app called vr player, to get the same
experience on Moto M, So VR mode, shouldn't be a deal breaker
It has got features, but it might not get the Nougat update
It hasn't been officially confirmed yet, but I think it might not get it at all or
it might take too long
The only thing common in both the phones is Dolby atmos sound enhancement,
And Dolby works great on both the phones
On k5 note, we have the 1W speaker on the back
And on Moto M, we have it at the bottom In terms of loudness, both are equally good,
but due to their different placement, you will get different experience
I'll say it's a tie in terms of speakers, But the main difference will be with the headset
K5 Note comes with a Wolfson WM8281 Dac
And the audio experience is simply the best you can get under 15000,
With Moto m, you get good experience, but not in the same level as K5 Note
So for Audio and media consumption, K5 Note is the winner
K5 note is powered by a 3500mah battery and Moto M is power by a 3000mah battery
and obviously you get better battery life on K5 Note
at least 30 minutes of additional screen on time
Now that's not all Both the phones come with a similar 10watts
power adapter So No fast charging
And k5 note comes with a normal micro USB port
And Moto M comes with a USB type c port
So with k5 note, you get better battery life, and you don't need to buy any additional
cables or a type-c adapter That's an additional convenience with k5
note It takes 90 minutes to charge moto m and almost
2 hours to charge K5 note
With moto m you get about 3-4 hours of screen on time, and with k5 note, you get 4-5 hours
of screen on time You might get more depending on your usage
Now to conclude If you want a simple, or straight answer,
I would suggest you to go with Moto M It's a brand new phone, with better cameras,
and better UI] But if you listen to lot of music, love music,,
want better battery life, additional software features
Then you can buy K5 Note But there are some minor issues with it
Like it got VOLTE recent via an OTA update, and many users are complaining about Jio's
connectivity issues, I might be fixed soon It has lot of software features, but it's
not super responsive like Moto M And you might not get the next version of
android, Nougat Now with all this said, I would buy k5 note
mainly because of better audio experience and software features
Well these are not the only phones in the market,
you can consider other phones like z2 plus, Redmi Note 3, le 2, Coolpad Note 5
So what do you think, which one will you buy?
