HOW I BECAME A STREAMER AND THE FUTURE! - Duration: 16:26.Hello! And welcome back to my Youtube channel! 😄
Today I am doing another sit-down video!
I know I'm not on my bed today, but I got a little bit lazy
Cuz that setup is a little bit more mentally draining.
I had to set things up and stuff
so I did get a little bit lazy and I'm just gonna do it from my stream setup
but I hope that you guys still like this.
If you notice Edison in the background, well, that's because he's in the background, okay?
Anyways a couple days ago, I got a message or
a response to my work/life balance as a content creator
and it was from Anna x Molly and she asked or she said
I would want to see you explain your college life and post college life
I know you explained a bit in your starting a stream video
But would be interesting to see how your life trajectory compares to other friends who went the traditional route of college graduating working a nine-to-five
and also what you see in the future with this lifestyle.
A lot of you guys upvoted it
so I can only assume that you guys would want to also know.
So I'm going to address those questions and a lot of the stuff I am going to talk about in this video
it's gonna overlap with my Car Talk.
That one's gonna be a like in-depth story of how I started streaming
this one will summarize that, but if you really want to know like the story story of how I got into streaming
I did talk about this years ago actually in a video and I'll link that down below actually
but yeah
so let's just get right into the video!
For college I was actually I felt like my college
experience was pretty standard.
I went to college, four-year university called UC Irvine
and I was majoring in public health when I entered
and I switched over to
biology really quickly, maybe my second quarter.
When I realized that I was getting good grades
Basically public health shares a lot of classes similar to the biology major except that
you know how to take physics, so I kind of didn't want to take physics
but when I realized I sort of liked the study grind and getting good grades and I like the challenge,
I decided to just switch to bio and then once I was in bio, I decided
might as well just go all out and try and become a doctor.
So I was pre-med for the first couple years of college until I realized it was a bit too competitive for me.
My ex-boyfriend was also a really really good pre-med student
And so I felt like I was always competing with him for good grades
or I just didn't wanna compete with him, and I also started doing some volunteering at hospitals.
My first and second year of college and I always I feel like I didn't do very well in volunteering.
I was very quiet.
Felt like I didn't really know what I was doing.
So I decided to switch.
I remember going to this lecture and then seeing
This one doctor talking
about all the options and everything you can do with by a biology degree and one of them was be a
Veterinarian and so I I left that lecture realizing I'm gonna switch to pre vet.
And so I switched all my classes
Everything that had animals in it, I took.
I signed up for a research lab with zebra finches.
I started signing up for animal shelter volunteering.
I did a bunch of stuff with animals
I end up having actually 3000 hours of hands-on animal experience by the time I graduated college.
But anyways continuing
my social life in college was pretty much..
I joined a sorority when I first started college because I was too late and signing up for dorms.
I like completely forgot about it.
And so I didn't get a freshman dorm
And so I was really really upset
because you know everyone gets that freshman dorm experience
and I just wasn't gonna get it
and I thought that meant I wasn't gonna have
any friends and stuff, so
I went on to join a sorority my first year.
I ived in a sorority house my second year and I absolutely hated it.
So I deactivated.
Just the sorority life was not for me at all.
I just wanted to focus on my studies
I would always be late for like meetings and whatnot in my sorority because I was
literally at office hours or studying
and they didn't understand or like they...
I was punished by like being forced to go to more events
And I'm like why am I even paying to be a part of a sorority
when I'm like
I'm always making excuses for why I can't go?
Of course I did make some good friends through it,
people that I'm still friends with actually today
But yeah, I just yeah, wasn't for me.
Anyway, so that was my social life
And once they quit my sorority, my whole life just became about
studying studying studying
getting into
basically a good med/vet school
And you know all my friends were bio majors
we all just went to the library all the time and just studied all the time
so I was a really good student all the way through.
I don't think I got a single C through all of college
I didn't! So that was pretty good.
So pretty much, my social involvement was at a pretty low...It was pretty low.
I just hung out with my boyfriend and our friends all the way through the first three years of college.
It wasn't until we had a breakup right before my fourth year
that I really got involved
basically got involved with things to distract myself from like the break-up and so
Yeah, we broke up and then I joined like to get my mind off of it
I joined three programs all at the same time one was an acapella group, one was an orientation group
which I talk a lot about because this was the thing the event that like led me to League pretty much and
And a biocide peer tutoring group where I tutored a developmental biology.
I think even at one point when I was tutoring developmental biology
I thought I wanted to get a PhD and developmental biology and go into research about like regeneration
Like limb regeneration and stuff.
So that was probably like a month of my life
I was like, I'm gonna go get a PhD, but I decided quickly against the whole research route
I realized like I was pretty good with talking to people and I just wanted to interact with others and
Going into like a lab and that stuff wasn't really didn't seem like my forte.
so I quickly passed upon that.
So moving on through college, my very last quarter of college
I was involved in all of these things, these 3 new clubs
and one day I came home and
I decided or I talked to my roommate Ana
and I was like,
"Ana, I don't think that I want to go into like the Vet field anymore.
Even though I've been doing hours and hours and hours of research and all the stuff
I just feel like it's not for me anymore.
Also my, like the vet I was working at the hospital
The vet told me she's like,
"Leslie, Why do you want to be a veterinarian?"
and I was like, "Because I love animals."
and she's like,
"Yeah, but this is so much more about loving animals,"
and she's like
"I honestly don't know if I you in this field I see you in something more like social,"
she sees me thriving in something other than
vet medicine
And that like kind of hit me like whoa, maybe it's not for me
because I was really quiet in the hospital, too
Like I just wanted to do everything right and I feel like I couldn't speak up
It just felt like, I felt really suppressed.
So I took that and I decided to go with it
and so I just dropped all of it
and I I just talked to my roommate and I was like
You know what? I'm gonna go into teaching.
I just really liked working with kids.
I always loved the school vibe
So I just wanted to be a teacher.
I didn't know, what was it a professor?
What grade was it?
What am I teaching? Maybe science math?
I don't know, but probably science.
So from there, I switched everything
I applied to be a tutor
I applied to do teaching or like assistant teaching at a ton of schools,
and I ended up doing that.
That was my plan for after I graduated,
pretty much just
graduate, take a year off and catch up on everything I need to apply for graduate school
For education and so that's what I did.
But in that summer after I graduated I ended up going to this program called "SPOP,"
the orientation program.
Which is pretty much just you, you become a staffer
for an incoming freshmen who are there to like learn about UC Irvine
before they attend and you kind of guide them through that process.
And through that program I made a ton of really good friends.
One of them. His name was Raymond and at the end of
the summer I was supposed to go back home
and pretty much finish applying for schools
but at the end of the summer
I couldn't leave Irvine
because of all the friends I had made through the program so
I decided to stick around for another year,
And I actually ended up living with Raymond and Raymond brought along these two roommates,
Billie and Alex.
All of them played League of Legends,
so I naturally got hooked on League of Legends.
And then one day my roommate Alex came into my room said,
"Hey Leslie, I've been watching the streamer, Becca,
You guys might know about her,
I feel like you could be a good streamer like her!"
And I was like, really?
I don't know like, I don't - I don't know much about Twitch.
I actually didn't know anything about Twitch.
But he planted like the seed,
and then one day they all left
to go back home, and I was home alone in the apartment,
And I felt like this urge to do something productive
just something, and so I thought about making a YouTube video
and I was like I don't know if it's a YouTube video I want to make,
so then I went to Twitch.tv
and I made an account and I researched how to start streaming on
I looked up OBS and I started the jankiest stream ever.
Lagging everywhere.
It was such bad quality.
It was on a Macbook, people just commenting like yikes
But I think I got like 5 viewers on my first day
which is crazy to me and I just got to nerd out about League, which was my favorite game.
The entire time and I was like, this is so fun.
Like I get to just talk about League of Legends
I'm almost gonna hit level 30.
I was so excited
And thus began my streaming career!
And then pretty much, I just kept streaming and streaming
and 6 months later
I believe I got partnered maybe 7 or 8 months later
And I got partnered!
Oh, by the way this entire time, I'm not like a full time streamer
I'm still doing my like education like
Grad school path and so I get partnered
and then my graduate school starts three days later at UCLA
and I was doing this like double life for about a month or two.
Let's say one month
Yeah, one month of it where I would wake up.
I would wake up at 6:00 in the morning
I would go to a school to do teaching and then I would go to UCLA
Do my classes come back home for lunch, stream for during my lunch break,
go back to class
and then get off of school, come back and stream and then sleep really early,
wake up for my class.
And I was just doing this every single day
Grad school and streaming, grad school and streaming.
And my plan was to quit streaming to continue grad school
However, one day on the way to graduate school.
I crashed my car and that car accident led me into
Just having like this epiphany. I was kind of like maybe this is a sign that I shouldn't
That I shouldn't go to school.
And so I decided to drop out of grad school after talking to my mom
after pretty much just yeah
you can even, I think there's a vlog I might have taken it down
but there's a vlog about me like right after, I got into that car accident,
me explaining like what I'm doing with my life
Or like yeah actually is such a throwback video
and actually I'll link it down below if you want to see it
Yeah, so I got into that car accident.
I dropped out and I didn't accept that
I was doing full-time streaming at that point.
I think I had 100 viewers, 150 viewers
I definitely wasn't making enough to be a full-time streamer.
From there, I just was looking for jobs in Esports
while streaming and I just didn't find any jobs in Esports.
So I just kept streaming and then it just grew into something.
I ended up joining immortals, kind of just explored around the Esports field
I just met a lot of people in that time.
I had Kimi with me,
obviously she was a huge part of this.
My roommate, I moved in with Kimi
right after I started streaming we both realized we'd started streaming within a couple days of each other
We both kind of wanted to test the waters, but we're new to the scene
And so we just moved in together and I still live with her obviously
So, um, so that's kind of my college life and post college life when it comes to streaming
The next question was how does my life trajectory compared to my friends who went the traditional route?
And what I had to say about that, is this actually pretty super similar all the way up until I quit streaming.
I think the biggest thing is that things move a lot faster in this industry right now.
Like 1 to 3 months in this field can feel,
like the progress in your career can be like the amount of progress you make in
like a traditional job in like 1 to 3 years.
Actually, like it's crazy
But like a single stream can change your career
If you get like a host or if you just do something really crazy or like if you do something really stupid
And that can like, like those clips or anything from those streams can like boost you or take you down.
So it's a lot more volatile.
But yeah, a single stream can change your life
And many there's many single streams that I've done that have changed my career
just like they've just changed my career..
It's crazy and things have happened so quickly in this industry,
in the past 3 months like my life,
my career has like changed a lot.
And then when you come to like a traditional job,
I think it's more like, you know predictable.
In terms of life trajectory though,
like if we're talking relationships and whatnot
(Maybe we'll talk about that in another video.)
But you know, it's still similar like I have a boyfriend,
I want to get married.
I want to have kids one day...
(We'll talk about it later. 😉)
And then for the future, my future goals...
pretty much pursue streaming as long as I can
Just keep building my brand
expanding out to other social media,
Youtube, you know - that's what we're doing doing right now.
Keep growing on Twitch, Instagram, Twitter
Whatever all the socials
And just turning this into as long of a career path as possible,
because this is obviously such a dream,
but it's very unstable.
That's like one of the trickier parts, is that you never know
how long you get to have this for.
Maybe I go and take a vacation for a month, and I come back and
there's a new and better, more improved FoOozLeY out there
who everyone just moved to right?
It's happened and so
those are just some fears that I can have or that streamers have in general,
is just like making sure that you can like,
this lasts as long as possible, right?
But after streaming is over,
I obviously want to start a family,
and settle down a little bit more and work.
I don't ever actually really want to fall back on my biology degree,
I want to work in this field
I think the rest of my life
entertainment, streaming, gaming
Using the skills that I've built over the past three years.
I've learned so much about the industry
Just this all started as a hobby, right?
At first I thought it was like, kind of a waste of time and my parents did too,
but as my career grew I started to,
I got faced with like more and more things that you get faced with in business
And now I know a lot about how business works
in general, sponsors, taxes all that grown-up stuff.
And so I feel like my skill set is actually very valuable
And when I do eventually quit streaming,
I believe that I can find a job somewhere in this industry
Keep pushing this industry along because it's really exciting
It's a really exciting time to be a part of all of gaming and streaming together
So that's pretty much,
I think that answers the question about you know
explaining my college life, post college life,
where my life trajectories going.
Traditional route,
me vs. a traditional route of like a 9 to 5,
and my future goals.

The Untold Truth Of Thomas And Ashley On Southern Charm - Duration: 4:43.Southern Charm has quietly become one of Bravo's most popular television shows, profiling the
rarest of social circles in Charleston, South Carolina, and the prominent families and massive
wealth that makes them hum.
Of course, it's Southern Charm's "characters" who bring viewers back week after week.
And much of the show revolves around disgraced former politician and dynastic scion Thomas
Ravenel.
He and his ex, Kathryn Dennis, have two kids together and have fought contentious custody
battles, as well as their own personal demons.
But in Season 5, Ravenel's new lady love, Ashley Jacobs, joined the cast and stirred
things up.
Here's the untold truth of Thomas and Ashley on Southern Charm.
She's not even Southern
Throughout her run on the show, Jacobs has struggled to fit in with the rest of the cast,
which has put a noticeable strain on her budding romance with Ravenel.
Jacobs stands out as the opposite of Kathryn Dennis or Patricia Altschul.
She's from Southern California, and met Ravenel at a bar, not a high-society gala.
And as far as her livelihood is concerned, Jacobs doesn't seem to pay the bills with
family money.
She was a registered hospice nurse before reality TV came calling.
His political future is history
On screen, Jacobs seems to have grand plans for her future with Ravenel.
It seems that if Jacobs had her way, she and Ravenel would get married, he'd get back into
politics, and they'd become the next Donald and Melania Trump.
Ravenel was once a big player at the South Carolina statehouse...until he was busted
for distribution in 2007, forcing him to resign as state treasurer.
In 2014, he unsuccessfully ran for the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate, and then ran as
an independent, where he earned just 3.9 percent of the vote.
Accepting that the public service period of his life is probably over, Ravenel said in
Season 5 that Jacobs' apparent desire that they'll one day become president and first
lady is quote, "not gonna happen."
Is their love even real?
Is the addition of Jacobs to Southern Charm just a little too perfect?
She's embodied the classic reality show villain archetype so perfectly from day one that some
viewers wonder if she's a ringer, introduced by producers to create ratings-boosting drama
on a show that, up until now, didn't feature a whole lot of Real Housewives-style cat-fights.
Rumor has it Ravenel and Jacobs didn't really have that meet-cute in a bar.
According to Heather McDonald on her podcast Juicy Scoop, Southern Charm co-star Landon
Clements introduced Ravenel and Jacobs, since she knew Jacobs from back when they were both
call girls, and that's when Ravenel allegedly decided to hire Jacobs to pose as his lady.
According to Tamara Tattles, insider scuttlebutt claims Jacobs auditioned for the show in the
past but lost out to Chelsea Meissner.
Accusations of assault
On the show, Ravenel has demonstrated his affinity for drinking, partying, and romancing
women.
But his behavior may have veered from the charming, into the criminal.
In April 2018, a woman named Ashley Perkins revealed via Twitter that Ravenel was accused
of assaulting her mother in 2015.
According to Perkins, on Christmas of that year, Ravenel and mom, Debbie, went on a date,
at which time Ravenel...
"[G]rabbed [Debbie] by the wrist and held her down, before exposing his genitals and
digitally violating her."
Perkins said her mother sued Ravenel and, with the help of famed attorney Gloria Allred,
negotiated a settlement in June 2016 for $200,000.
Then in May 2018, according to a police report obtained by the Charleston City Paper, a woman
alleged that Ravenel sexually assaulted her at his home in 2015.
The woman who fans will recognize as the caretaker for Ravenel's children, "Nanny Dawn," told
People:
"Although I believe he should be in jail for his crimes, the reality according to statistics
is that he will go unpunished."
He might already be gone
The allegations against Ravenel came to light well after the fifth season of Southern Charm
was already on the air, but his future with the show remains unknown.
A Bravo source told People,
"No decision has been made yet and the investigation is still ongoing."
However, Radar Online reported Ravenel was barred from the show's reunion episode.
FITSNews reported that at least two other cast members vowed not to show up for the
reunion if Ravenel did, and sources for gossip site Tamara Tattles claim he won't be back
for Season 6.
But if Ravenel exits the show, it might be curtains for Jacobs, as well.
Could their relationship survive off-camera?
Only time will tell for these reality stars.

Running Analysis: How the FASTEST Asian in the 60m/100m race Runs (Su Bingtian) - Duration: 7:22.Hey guys, it's JP Gloria and today we're gonna go over the running form of
Su Bingtian, who is currently the fastest Asian to have ever run the 60
meter and 100 meter race!!! Recently, I've been making running videos looking
at long distance runners, who's running mechanics are more predicated toward
efficiency. This time we are looking at sprinting... where the main focus is
to improve power and speed!!! Now, let's look at Su Bingtian's running form and
see a little bit of what makes him one of the FASTEST men in the world! This
time, we will be analyzing his running as he runs the 60 meter race. Before, we get
into looking at specific parts of his body, I want you guys to take a look at
Su's start. Su is known for his great starts in his races. As you guys know,
during sprints, the start is a very important part of the race. Now ,as you
watch this clip, you can see a few key points to his great start!! The first we will
talk about is his cadence as he pushes off from the blocks... which is basically
based on how fast he can take steps. As noted in a research study, looking at
biomechanical differences in faster and slower high level sprinters, in the
Journal of Human Kinetics, the findings suggest that faster sprinters during the
block start have higher force magnitude which is comprised of rear block total
force and vertical rear block force as well as increased rate of force
development. Now, we can't exactly measure the amount of force they are applying
through the blocks during the race but we can look at the rate at which they
apply the force, which is through the steps they take. When you compare Su to
Perez, you can see that Su presents with a slightly higher rate of steps compared
to him. This supports the findings seen in the research study as I stated before.
Obviously, there are more factors to the starting block performance leading to
improve speeds because Collins also presents with basically the same cadence
as Su during the start... Well, there is another factor of the starting block
performance that we can see. A noticeable difference when looking at Collins and
Su's start is the path deviation, which basically shows how well they can run in
a straight path. Looking at Collins and Perez, you can see there is a path deviation
to the right as they push off the blocks. Su presents with very little
path deviation and maintains a relatively straight path which means
improved efficiency of force application toward the desired direction leading to
improved speeds! Another thing I'll briefly mention about
Su's start is how smoothly and quickly transitions from starting position to
upright position. To visually see this, I'll rerun the clip again. As you can see
here, he has successfully transitioned to an upright position, while the other
sprinters around him are still in this kind of flexed posture. Being able to do
this quickly and smoothly is key to faster times in these races. Now, let's
look more closely at different components of the body. This time, instead
of looking at the side view of the foot, I want you guys to take a look at the
front of his body as this will better illustrate one of the key things I want
to point out, which is ankle stabilization. When landing on the foot,
there's a little bit of an inward collapse that naturally occurs known as
foot pronation. This allows for some force absoprtion to prevent excessive
stress on the foot. Now, too much pronation can lead to increased stress
on the ligaments, but what this also does is cause slower leg turnover, leading to
decreased speeds during a race. This is because if excessive pronation occurs, it
will take a slightly increased time to get out of this collapsed position and
into what we call a supinated position to allow for efficient push off from the
foot. Now, I'm not saying that these sprinters go into excessive pronation,
but if you notice their feet go into a slightly more collapsed position compared to
Su. Looking at Su's feet more closely as he runs... he does not go into a
pronated position as much, which leads to quicker turnover causing improved speed
and performance during the sprint. To do this, it takes a tremendous amount of
strength and control in the legs, especially in sprinting ,as there is so
much force going through the legs as it touches the ground. When the muscles of
the legs, especially the hips and ankles, are not strong enough. This force will
usually drive the foot into a collapsed position causing decreased leg turnover
as stated before. Now, let's take a look at his knees,
specifically his knee drive. This type of knee drive is commonly seen with high
level sprinters. As I've mentioned in previous videos, this knee drive allows
for improved cyclic motion to occur to allow for improved utilization of the
elastic properties of the hip and knee muscles... but this time, I'll visually
depict what I mean by this. As you can see, Su's knees bend completely and is
about to swing forward. What you see is the quad muscles and hip flexors being
stretched and are under tension. This is similar to the tension applied when you
stretch an elastic band. Now, as he swings the leg forward, not only does hip muscle
activation occur, but just like when you release tension from an elastic band,
the elastic properties of the hip and knee muscles previously tension aid in
swinging the leg forward, leading to improved leg turnover and quicker speeds.
The next thing we will look at is the trunk. At first glance, it may look like
he is bending forward at the trunk, but actually he's not. He actually keeps his
trunk in almost a neutral position. He doesn't extend his trunk too far back
or too far forward and collapse into a flexed posture... besides for the very end
to just quickly get a part of his body past the finish line for the quickest
time possible. Similar to other great sprinters, like
Usain Bolt, his whole body leans forward, which aids in forward momentum as he
runs. This also aids in a way similar to what I talked about with knee drive. When
you are bending forward from the ankles where your whole body actually leans
forward, you'll notice that your legs go into more hip extension. This will
increase the amount of tension applied to the hip flexors increasing
elastic energy, which will improve ability to propel forward. The last thing
we will talk about is positioning of the head. He does present with forward head
posture with his neck very slightly extended; however, Su's ability to main
this neck position in a more neutral position throughout the race has
improved throughout the year. He actually does a better job of doing this in this
race compared to some of the other sprinters as you see here. Keeping the
neck in more of a neutral position allows for improved ability to stabilize
the neck, allowing for improved ability to maintain core engagement throughout
the race. This is important especially in sprinting as force output as
see from the legs is significantly increased. If the core isn't strong
enough to counter these forces, it won't be able to help stabilize the pelvis,
which can cause excessive movement to occur. This can cause energy leakage to
occur throughout the entire body... leading to decreased force generation in the
desired direction as you move forward. And... that's all for the quick analysis on
the way Su runs!!! I pointed out just a few parts of Su's biomechanics, but there
are definitely more variables that make Su Bingtian one of the fastest men in
the world! I really hope you guys enjoyed this video and will subscribe for future
videos! Also feel free to leave a comment below about Su Bingtian or any runner

PS4 Spider-man Kingpin Boss Fight - Combat System Discussion - Duration: 5:34.Hey what's going on everyone, DVESF here and today I am bringing you guys a commentary
video and some new gameplay on the new Marvel's PS4 Spider-man.
In todays video we will talk about combat and the gameplay footage that will include
the Kingpin Boss Fight which will take place in the
first mission of the game.
Now, before we get started, I know my accent isn't the best, nor is my English, so I've
added subtitles in video which you can turn on in case you can't understand me :P
At a first sight you can tell that the combat system looks amazingly well done.
It consists of punching and kicking combos, web shooting and dashing
around in order to avoid attacks.
With having only a handful of clips, we cannot really tell how many combos we will be able
to use, but judging from what we have, there's a lot in store for us.
From the newest footage that Sony provided we can see that we will
be able to use aerial combos, web combos, dashing and going over and behind the enemy
combos, and many more.
As far as we can see in the video itself the combat system looks very different from the
previous Spider-man games, and I think that's for the best since
PS4 Spider-man's predecessor, The Amazing Spider-man 2, had dull and repetitive combos
throughout the whole course of the game which made it a bit boring while you were playing.
The second thing I would like to talk about is the Classic suit.
The classic suit, in my opinion, is one of the greatest assets in the game.
It's amazingly detailed and vibrant, it provides us hardcore spidey fans
with the feeling of retro.
If you ask me, in all previous Spider-man games I would wear the classic suit and roam
around the city for hours.
Story-wise, we're also noticing that we will be starting the game by wearing the classic
suit, and the Advanced suit, the one with the white logo on the chest,
will be obtained later throughout the main course of the story.
Details on how the Advanced Suit is obtained have not been revealed so far.
For those who pre-ordered the game, you will be able to change suits throughout the whole course of the game.
Personally, I'll go with the Iron Spider suit.
Now if you didn't pre-order the game, don't worry!
The only thing that makes a difference is that you will have to unlock these 3 suits,
The Iron Spider, Velocity suit and Spider Punk, while in the pre-ordered version you
get them right away
Last but not least, needless to say that the graphics look spectacular (pun intended),
the Kingpin boss fight is one of the most iconic
we've seen so far in this game, and I don't really wanna spoil it for you.
That's all for this video, keep on watching to enjoy the rest of the Kingpin boss fight
without me rambling in the background!
Don't forget to like and subscribe if you havent, and share so we can spread this awesomeness of a game
PEACE

Real Madrid transfer news: Chelsea star Thibaut Courtois responds to question about move - Duration: 3:12.Real Madrid target Courtois may leave Chelsea with the Belgium international hellbent on returning to Spain
Courtois' family are still located in Madrid from when he spent three years on loan at Atletico earlier in his career
Chelsea are aware the 26-year-old wants to leave but, so far, have made Real Madrid wait on a deal until they have signed a replacement
And Courtois has suggested he is unhappy with the current situation, describing the transfer saga as 'sensitive'
He missed Chelsea's 2-0 Community Shield defeat to Manchester City this afternoon, with Sergio Aguero striking twice to gift Pep Guardiola's side the prize
And Courtois, when asked about his future after the game, said: "I'm not going to comment on that now, it's a sensitive issue
"I cannot say much about it now, I do not think about it, I'm very calm, getting nervous would not help
"The important thing is to be ready and prepared for the next season." Courtois' stony silence comes after his agent urged Chelsea to let him go
Christophe Henrotay said: "I have been reading everywhere that Chelsea are saying it is up to Thibaut, but he has made it clear to the club that the best option for him is to move to Madrid
"For him this is a big decision because he wants to be near his family, and there is an offer in place for Chelsea to accept
" Maurizio Sarri provided an update on Courtois' future before today's match, saying: "At the moment Courtois is the goalkeeper of Chelsea
"I don't know in the future. It depends on the club, it depends especially on him, but I hope Courtois will be our goalkeeper
" Chelsea will be forced to let Courtois go for free in a year's time if he runs down his deal
The west London giants have tried to get him to sign a new contract but to no avail
Who is Chelsea star and Real Madrid target Thibaut Courtois? Age: 26 Country: Belgium Honours: Belgian Pro League: (2011) La Liga (2014) Copa del Rey (2013) Europa League (2012) UEFA Super Cup (2012) Premier League (2015, 2017) FA Cup (2018) EFL Cup (2015)

(第四集) IYPT-about the Opponent - Duration: 4:38.Hey guys, welcome to Plancky Girls!
I am 彤彤.
Today's topic is Opponent.
Opponent is usually the one that is against Reporter,
who asks some related questions or gives out opinions
to complete this game.
Today, we will divide it into three parts to introduce Opponent.
First,
The second,
The third,
First part,
what does Opponent do when Reporter is reporting?
In fact, each member in the team of Opponent
have to focus on what Reporter is reporting
because all the problems have to be recorded.
We can't leave Opponent fighting alone,
so everybody has to work in teams.
Some people record one part while others record another part,
organize the information,
then, the typist make a report out of the information.
As a result, there are three things to do when reporter is reporting.
First, recording.
The second, figure out what to ask.
The third, make a report.
In this part, teamwork is very important.
We have to receive what Reporter gives out
and make a report at the same time.
It is impossible to finish it alone,
so there usually is a person who is responsible for supervision.
(First), do we receive the information ?
The second, does the typist finish making the report ?
The third, does Opponent get the outline of the report ?
After the Reporter's report is finished, there will be one minute
for Opponent to clarify the problem in Reporter's report.
For example, the place which is not clear.
Then, the important 14-minute discussion time.
The first four minutes are usually presentation
about the advantages and disadvantages of Reporter,
and some questions you would like to ask in the 10 minutes afterward.
For example,
Part A in the reporter is weird.
This experimental design
is not accurate
or not related to the problem statement.
Then, the last 10 minutes of discussion time.
The important thing in the ten minutes is that
the teammates can help the Opponent by giving he/she a note
when Opponent is in need during his/her presentation.
Hey, 彤彤, you forget the important parts.
Or,
Hey, 彤彤, time is running out.
You have to pay attention to the time, and move on to next problem quickly.
Because we can't spend too much time on the same issue.
In discussion time, you should pay attention to your courtesy, your words.
It is inevitable that there will be some intense occasions in the debate,
but we still have to keep the courtesy.
What should Opponent say in the conclusion?
Most conclusion will be like...
In Part A, Reporter did a great job because his/her answer hit the right point.
However, I wasn't that good in Part B.
In Part B, Reporter miss the key point of the question.
I think I'm still right about this question.
Or like...
Actually, I think part C is great.
It's a pity that time is not enough.
Otherwise, I will definitely continue to ask this question.
I think part C is the essence of the whole experiment.
... and so on.
The above is the Opponent I introduced.
In fact, I think Opponent is a role that many people would like.
Opponent is like everyone in the modern world.
He/she needs to think and react immediately when receiving lots of information,
Which of these (information) is wrong?
Or what should he/she do?
and keep the courtesy in the same time.
I think Opponent is a very useful role.
