welcome back to my channel

in this video i'm going to show you growing croton plant in lucky bamboo style

first i just take a piece of plastic coated wire

then

bending the wire like this method

now i'm just bending the wire in this shape of the heart

next

tie the heart shaped wire lines with a thin wire

after finished work

next

it's a croton plant

now i just select young branch of the croton plant and remove some leaves near the base of the thick stem

next

tying the heart shaped wire with young branch stem

then

bending the stem with heart shaped wire

next

make a air layering

now finishing the air layering

next

after 20 days

we can see roots growing through the soil

next

cut the rooted branch

next

removing the heart shaped wire from the plant

next

tying the trained and shaped branch with thin wire

next

remove the plastic warp

and then planting the crotons in small pots

i just use the coco peat for potting

do the same work to other crotons

45 days later

i'm going to repot the plants in beautiful pots

adding the potting soil in the new pots

we can see the healthy and beautiful growth

then repotting the plants in new pots

now i just put some white stones for more beauty and this will help the keep the soil moisture

after repotted these plants pour water some every three days

and keep the plants in bright light places or balcony or partial shady areas

you can also keep in bright indoor places

after two months from repotted

completely grown the plants and looks beautiful

A Song of Ice and Fire: North (Part 3 of 4) - Duration: 6:23.

After thousands of years spent defeated their rivals and resisting invasion from the South,

the Seas and beyond the Wall, the Kings of Winter faced yet another threat against the

North, when the Dragonlords of House Targaryen landed an army in Blackwater Bay.

Following the Doom of Valyria and Century of Blood, House Targaryen of Dragonstone,

became the last known family to possess living dragons, and used this advantage to organize

the invasion of Westeros, seeking to conquer all seven kingdoms south of the Wall.

Although many resisted, only the territory of Dorne was able to maintain their sovereignty,

though at a cost of many lives during the two Dornish wars that followed the initial

conflict.

After defeating the Kingdom of Isles and Rivers, Westerlands, Reach and Stormlands, the Targaryen

army went North to face King Torrhen Stark of Winterfell, who'd marched 30 000 men

into the Riverlands.

Despite being outnumbered, many Northmen wanted to attack, including the King's bastard

half-brother Brandon Snow, who offered to sneak into the enemy camp and assassinate

the dragons.

But having heard the stories about the burning of Harrenhal and Field of Fire, King Torrhen

chose peace, sending his brother Brandon and a party of Maesters to negotiate the terms

of their surrender.

Though he saved many lives with his decision, Torrhen Stark was remembered as the King who

knelt, forced to give up his crown and accept the titles Lord of Winterfell and Warden of

the North.

However, not all northmen were will to bend the knee like their King, with some instead

choosing exile, and sailing across the narrow sea to become sellswords and form the Company

of the Rose.

Under the Targaryen Kings, the North was largely allowed to continue ruling themselves so long

as they paid taxes to the Iron Throne and kept the King's peace.

Yet at times the Northmen found themselves at odds with the Targaryens like with Lord

Ellard Stark objected to the demands of good Queen Alysanne, wife of King Jaehaerys the

Conciliator, when she gifted a portion of the North to the Night's Watch.

However the pleas of House Stark were ignored, and the New Gift as it was known, went on

to help sustain the black brothers in their continuing service to the realm.

During the Dance of the Dragons civil war, Lord Cregan Stark of Winterfell sided with

the Black Faction fighting for Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen against her younger half brother

Aegon II, negotiating the Pact of Ice and Fire, wherein house Stark was promised a Targaryen

bride in exchange for their support.

With Winter approaching, Lord Cregan Stark started to gather together a massive army,

recruiting childless, homeless, unwed men, and young sons, hoping to spare their families

from the burden of supporting them during the difficult years to come.

However, due to the size of the Northern territory, it took 2 years to properly prepare their

forces, and so Lord Stark also sent a smaller army of 2000 men to march south at once, known

as the Winter Wolves under the command of Roderick Dustin.

Mounted atop shaggy horses, the Winter Wolves proved devastating in battle, defeating Lannister

spearmen at the Battle of the Lakeshore, and killing Ser Criston Cole in the Butcher's

Ball.

Yet the Northmen were then finally defeated at the First Battle of Tumbleton, when they

were betrayed by the Dragon Riders Ulf the White and Hard Hugh Hammer, two low born men

who'd risen in status due to their ability to bond with a dragon.

Another group hailing from the North, were the Knights of White Harbor, led by the brothers

Ser Medrick and Ser Torrhen Manderly, sent to serve Queen Rhaenyra directly during her

time in the capital.

Yet as the war went on, King's Landing began to rebel against the Black faction Queen,

and so the Manderly Brothers asked Rhaenyra to come with them to White harbor where she

might be protected.

However the Queen instead chose to leave the Manderlys behind and travelled to Dragonstone,

where she was betrayed, captured and killed by the enemy.

After two years of preparation, the great Northern host under Cregan Stark was at last

ready to march south, but were now facing a far different situation then what they had

originally anticipated.

With the death of Queen Rhaenya, King Aegon II sat atop the Iron Throne, however with

the realm still divided, the extent of his power did not reach much further than the

capital.

Fearing the massive northern army approaching, Aegon's remaining advisers urged him to

sue for peace, but he refused and so was poisoned to death in order to place Rhaenyra's first

born son on the throne, known to history as King Aegon III.

Although the Black faction was technically victorious, Cregan Stark was furious that

his men were denied battle and so took charge of King's Landing, ruling with iron fist

for 6 days in what came to be known as the Hour of the Wolf.

During this time, 22 were arrested for poisoning Aegon II, with Lord Corlys Velaryon negotiating

a pardon, while the others either joined the Night's Watch or faced execution.

After finishing his business in the south, Cregan stark was held in high regard by the

court of King Aegon III, however a princess of House Targaryen was never actually delivered

to the Starks, leaving the Pact of Ice and Fire ultimately unfulfilled.

Although the Starks remained in power throughout the years of Targaryen rule, they faced a

number of threats against them, like the failed Skagosi rebellion during the reign of King

Daeron II, which went on for years and claimed the lives of many, including Lord Barthogan

Stark.

There was also the ironborn reevers under Lord Dagon Greyjoy who attacked the western

coast during the reign of King Aerys I, only to be repelled by the forces of Lord Beron

Stark.

The North then faced yet another bloody confrontation in 226AC, when the King beyond the wall Raymun

Redbeard, led his people past the Night's Watch only to be defeated by the combined

army of Lord Willam Stark and Lord Harmond Umber at the battle of the long lake.

The main reason why Vietnamese people don't say R-blends and L-blends

well with the /b/, /d/ and /g/ sounds is that,

as we mentioned it before,

a word with two or more consonants together

(without any vowel between them)

sounds strange to a Vietnamese ear,

so people usually choose to pronounce only one of the consonants.

In addition, in some Vietnamese dialects the /b/, /d/ and /g/ sounds

are not very strongly vibrated and they sound more like /p/, /t/ and /k/.

But in English the vibration in the throat is quite powerful

when we say the /b/, /d/ and /g/ sounds,

especially at the beginning of words.

The /b/ is the vibrated pair of the /p/,

the /d/ is the vibrated pair of the /t/ and the /g/ is the pair of the /k/.

So we make the /b/ the same way as the /p/,

the only difference is that we vibrate the vocal chords when we say the /b/,

while in the /p/ sound there is no vibration.

And the same is true for the /d/ - /t/ pair and the /g/ - /k/ pair.

The other important difference between voiced

and unvoiced sounds is that the voiced (vibrated)

sounds need less air than non-vibrated sounds.

You can visualize this by imagining

that the vibration replaces some of the air power,

so the /b/, /d/ and /g/ are less powerful than their /p/,

/t/ and /k/ pairs,

but the vibration in the /b/, /d/ and /g/ helps us to distinguish them.

You can test this difference in air power

by putting your hand in front of your mouth

and saying first the /p/ and then the /b/ sound.

You will feel a lot more air coming out of your mouth

with the /p/ sound. /p/ - /p/ - /b/ - /b/.

In fact, if you put too much air into the /b/, /d/ and /g/ sounds,

then you will lose some of the vibration,

because it is very hard to vibrate your throat

AND blow out a lot of air, at the same time.

So, when you want to say R-blend and L-blend

words starting with the /b/, /d/ or /g/,

you don't have to say these sounds with so much air as with the /p/, /t/ and /k/ sounds,

BUT you do have to vibrate your vocal chords in your throat quite hard.

Here are some examples of R-blends and L-blends with a /b/ sound:

Pause this video and practice saying these words with a /d/, /g/ and /b/ sound,

followed by the /R/ and /L/ sounds.

Sometimes you can hear native English speakers saying /dr/ something like /dʒr/,

such as /dʒraɪ/, /dʒrɑp/ or /dʒri:m/.

Don't be surprised if you hear this, this is also correct,

but always remember that both the /dʒ/ and the /r/ sound have to be pronounced,

you cannot drop either of them.

If you feel that you cannot vibrate the /b/, /d/ or /g/ sounds strong enough,

then here is a useful tip:

Try saying these sounds as quietly as you can,

with only minimal air.

This way, you can reduce the air power to almost zero,

so you can focus on the vibration.

Now practice saying first the sounds, then the words, very softly,

like "b", "brother", "b", "blow",

"g", "grab", "g", "glue", "d", "dry"

And when you can say them like this, then increase the volume back to a normal level.

This is also a great test to check if you can vibrate the sounds strong enough.

Another way to test your /b/, /d/ and /g/ sounds

is to put your hand on your throat when you say the words,

and you should feel quite a lot of vibration.

And the vibration should be the same strength, whether you say the words loudly or softly.

Pause now.

Hello!

Greetings from "Valle Verzasca".

It's a valley

with a river.

It looks beautiful.

This is not my destination,

I won't camp here.

This is just a stopover.

Anyway, I want to do two things here:

firstly,

to take a picture

and secondly,

to jump in!

So,

first challenge: DONE!

Second challenge,

next!

I need to get down there again

and search for some spots.

Ok, let's go then!

There were plenty of kms

to get to my next destination.

Believe it or not,

it was so hard to find a subject!

When I was standing there on the bridge

and looking into the valley:

I loved it!

The blue river,

the rocks with the lines,

the church in the background:

what more could you ask for?

At one point,

I even set up the camera

to pack it all up again!

I don't know...

the photo never wanted to happen!

Even behind the bridge it's difficult.

Problem is also,

too many tourists were here.

You can see it everywhere:

there's a cigarette,

there's a cigarette,

there's a cigarette,

there's a tissue!

People!

But that's not the reason

why I can't

find a subject.

And then again,

I shouldn't force it.

So, I highly recommend this place,

especially to those who are in transit.

Actually the whole drive

from Locarno to here,

Lavarezzo,

is fantastic.

There is a lot to see.

Speaking about photography,

I couldn't find anything interesting.

Maybe if the water level would have been higher...

The summer

was especially hot.

I'm clueless,

I don't know if I can

shoot something here.

This is my 4th stop

in this holiday.

As far as I

can judge:

I like it here, too.

Well, why shouldn't it?

Mountains, lakes...

All the cool stuff!

Today, I will hike

the "Smaragdweg".

Though only half of it,

because the camping site,

over there where the electrical tower is,

is relatively halfway.

The "Smaragdweg" is not a loop trail,

but instead

just a segment of

a much larger hiking trail.

It's also not a difficult one,

rather at ground level.

That's why

I will take it easy today.

Why did I chose St. Moritz

or Engadin?

There's no "icon" here,

but I'm searching for them.

The goal is to see and shoot them, right?

There's something

very rare here

and it also interests me.

It has nothing to do with photography.

It's the romansh language!

The

4th

official

language in Switzerland.

This language is

quite

mysterious and

scarce.

You rarely will here it spoken.

Well,

languages in general interests me

and cultures, too.

I just wanted to experience it in real life.

On the drive to St. Moritz

I already saw

signposts,

advertising and such

in a

strange language!

This cannot be photographed,

at most filmed.

It's not always about it,

about

photography.

Welcome to "Lej da Staz"

or Stazersee (lake of Staz)

I found something here

near the lake

integrating this

wooden footpath.

I wasn't sure at first,

I walked and thought

back and forth.

Then I took out my camera

and used the viewfinder.

I thought

this could be a good spot.

I will put this part in the foreground,

the mountains in the background

and the lake in the centre.

Now I'm just waiting

for this cloud to get away,

because it darkens

the foreground.

I want it all

to be evenly exposed,

so I don't have to heavily edit it.

Well,

I'm still not entirely sure

about this image.

I quite liked it.

It wasn't super spectacular.

I liked the village, too.

It was a bit empty.

The other day I said,

Chamonix and Zermatt are glamourous.

As if!

So,

in St. Moritz downtown

I virtually

spotted only the stores

of the most expensive labels

ever!

No "normal" stores!

Also,

the food

in the restaurants

is at the least

twice as expensive as

in Zermatt and there it was already expensive!

Well, Switzerland in general is expensive...

Sometimes it's OK to afford it.

Why not?

The "Smaragdweg"

was nice.

Rather easy,

not that much differences in altitude

There are many other

hiking trails.

They are above.

There's

a much better view at both lakes.

There's so much more you can do here.

As for the picture,

we will see.

I hope it

turned out beautiful.

So, I think I did everything, didn't I?
