Sporthacking is a complex approach to sportsman´s preparation.

It combines 4 basic areas of training.

It is the training together with nutrition, regeneration and mental preparation.

It is important to realise that all these 4 areas are connected and they influence each other.

It means - when I work on one area it will influence the other.

But the reality now is such that – I dare to say – in 80 – 90% it is in a negative mode.

For example, the player has a great training but he has no meal

or has a bad meal after the training

which influences his regeneration in a negative way about 80 % - which is not little.

Top-level sport today is mainly about the business.

At the same time the players are facing increasing pressure from parents, coaches.

They play more games, they have more training units

and especially the competition is much bigger.

The training methods are so refined now that – if I exaggerate it –

the training methods in some small village are similar to those

used in some advanced club in Canada.

The training is on such a high level now

so the trend is shifting and will shift even more and more towards the complexity

and especially towards nutrition, regeneration and mental preparation.

Trainings and training´s methods are almost on its limits.

Experts claim that physical trainings won´t reach higher level.

The effort for the improvement of the performance limits remains.

That´s why it is necessary that not only the training is perfect

but we also need to think about the balanced nutrition, complete regeneration - that are closely related -

and also about the mental state.

For some time, I had lived in hockey-advanced countries such as the USA and Canada

and there even the little player is raised in a way that not only the training

but also the regeneration, nutrition and the positive coaching is important.

They take it automatically that the training is not only about the physical part

but also about the nutrition and good regeneration.

In our country I often encounter attitude like "Hey, we did it eating white rolls so you can do it too."

But this is not valid any more and the trend is somewhere else.

The top-level sportsman and often even his coach realises only with difficulty

that training, regeneration, nutrition and mental state are closely related to each other.

The physical training is and will be the most important part.

However, it´s like pieces of a puzzle.

When they are put together they make the synergic effect.

When the regeneration, nutrition and positive psychology are added to the training

it could take the player to a different level.

There are thousands of sportsmen not only from ice-hockey

which had to end their careers when they were 15, 18, 25 years old

because of the bad regeneration and nutrition.

But we will never find it out.

We know only about the successes and quite often we hear things like:

"Look at him, he doesn´t regenerate and still he´s so good" but these are only the blind arguments.

The trends are now getting somewhere else and the complexity is extremely important.

I got to Vítek through the recommendation of one coach

and we´ve been working together approximately half a year.

I used to be ill quite often and now my immunity got better

so this is where it helped me the most.

I gained some weight, I got stronger and the main thing -

I found out that I lacked a high-quality fat and other nutrients.

Sportsmen often can´t handle the big training´s unit.

They are tired, exhausted, irritated and mentally unstable.

This all has a negative effect on their performance.

Their bodies can´t recover properly.

The reason could be very simple.

Bad diet that doesn´t allow a proper regeneration.

The higher training intensity is then useless.

When the child is small then his diet and regeneration doesn´t need to be so strict.

But it is important to influence it little by little.

Then, when the player is 20 or 25 years old and goes to play abroad

he knows what the protein and fat is,

he knows about regeneration, cold water, cryotherapy,

he understands what it does to his body and this is the most important - that the players –

we are talking about the youngest ones – perceive that it is not only about the training

but that the regeneration and diet is very important as well.

If the coach demands an optimal performance from the sportsman or hockey-player

he has to keep in mind that he will gain it

only from a well-motivated player in a great physical and mental condition

who has a healthy eating habits, breathes correctly and is adequately regenerated.

I met sportsmen who belonged to the representation team

but they were tired, in low spirits, they often got sweet cravings,

were ill more often, were irritated, they had injuries more often,

and overall they lacked the vital energy.

When you see the biochemistry of blood and the complete state of health

then you realise how much it is about the regeneration and proper nutrition.

Our body is like a human engine.

Nowadays, when we look at the young ones we can see they go at 120 km/hour

but the engine is shifted into second gear and what´s more - we pour the poor-quality oil in it.

That shows us exactly that it is not only about the physical training.

When we combine it with proper regeneration and nutrition than it is the best thing we can do.

New Release Tuesday: January 2, 2018 - Duration: 6:52.

Hi everyone. I'm rincey and i am one of the contributing editors over at book riot.

I am back to do another new release Tuesday video. I am talking about books

that come out on Tuesday, January 2nd. I hope everyone had a wonderful new year.

There are a lot of really great releases coming out right here up at the first

Tuesday of the year. So yeah, let's just jump into the new releases. So the first

book I'm going to highlight is the woman in the window by AJ Finn. This is a

mystery/suspense type book. Anna Fox lives alone. A recluse in New York City,

she's unable to leave her house to venture outside. She spends her days

drinking wine, possibly a little bit too much, watching old movies, recalling

happier times and spying on her neighbors. Then the Russell's move in in

the house across the way: a father, a mother, and a teenage boy. They seem like

the perfect family. But when Anna is gazing out her window one night, she

sees something that she shouldn't and suddenly her world starts to crumble.

What's real? What's imagined? Who's in control? Who's in danger? This is a

twisting and powerful psychological suspense book. It's being described as

Hitchcockian in nature. Obviously if you've seen like the secret window or

anything along those lines, it is very reminiscent of that. And again

that's the woman in the window by AJ Finn. The next book that I have is the

music shop by Rachel Joyce. This book takes place in 1988. On a dead-end street

in a run-down suburb, there is a music shop that is brightly lit and filled

with all types of records. Like a beacon, this shop attracts the lonely, the

sleepless and the adrift. And frank, the shop's owner, is able to connect all of

the people who come by the shop with exactly the right piece of music that

they need. Then one day, this beautiful woman comes into the shop and asked

Frank to teach her everything that he knows about music. Terrified of real

closeness, Frank feels the urge to turn around and run, but he's also extremely

drawn to this mysterious woman with eyes as black as vinyl. But this woman is not

exactly what she seems and Frank has old wounds that seemed to be reopening.

Rachel Joyce has written a number of novels already. The one that I've read is

the unlikely pilgrimage of Harold Fry, which was full of heart and full of

compassion and looks at the relationship between two people. And it sounds like

this one will be along similar lines. It's being described as a love story and

a journey through music. And again, that's the music shop by Rachel Joyce. The next

book I'm going to highlight is the cruel prince by Holly black. Jude was seven

years old when her parents were killed. And she and her two sisters were stolen

away to live in the treacherous High Court of Faerie. Ten years later, Jude wants

nothing more than to belong there despite her own mortality. But many of

the Fae despise humans, especially Prince cardan who is the youngest and most

wicked Prince of the High King. In order to win a place in the court, she must

defy him and face the consequences. In doing so she ends up embroiled in past

deceptions and intrigue, as well as discovering her own capacity for

bloodshed. But as a civil war threatens to drown the court of fairy, Jude will

need to risk her life in a dangerous alliance in order to save her sisters as

well as the fairy. Holly Black is a New York Times bestselling author. She is

best well known for writing these really great fantasy young adult stories and

this is the first book in a series. So if you are looking to start off a new young

adult series then this is definitely one worth checking out. And again that's the

cruel prince by Holly black. The next book that I have to highlight is a state

of freedom by Neel Mukherjee. In this new novel, Mukherjee rustles and explores one

of the major topics of our modern era and that is displacement and migration.

Five characters in very different circumstances find out the meaning of

dislocation and wanting more. Set in contemporary India, this book moves

between the reality of this world and the shadow of another. And explores

multiple narratives in order to provide a haunting exploration of the

unquenchable human urge to strive for a different life. Neel Mukherjee is an

award-winning author and his previous book the lives of others was recently

shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize. So if the name sounds familiar, it may be

from that. And if you enjoyed that book you might be interested in this one as

well. And again that's a state of freedom by Neel Mukherjee. The next book that I

have is a middle-grade novel and it is love sugar magic by anna mariano and

illustrated by Marielle Ortega. Leonara's family owns the most

beloved bakery in Rose Hill, Texas. Spending their days conjuring delicious

cookies and cakes for special occasions. And no occasion is more important than

the annual Dia de los Muertos festival. Leo hopes that this will finally be the

year that she gets to help prepare for the annual celebration but once again

she's told that she is just too young. Sneaking out of school and down to the bakery,

Leo discovers that her mom and her

aunt's have been hiding a secret from her: they're brujas or mexican witches who

pour a little bit of magic into everything that they bake. Leo knows that

she also has magical abilities and she's more determined than ever to join the

family business. When her best friend Caroline has a problem that she can't

solve, Leo has the perfect opportunity to practice her craft. It's just one spell

after all, what could possibly go wrong? So if you yourself are a fan of middle

grade novels or you know someone who enjoys middle grade novels or if you

know someone especially a Mexican descent who is looking for different

types of representation in their children's literature, then this sounds

like a really fun one to pick up. And again that's love sugar magic. And the

final book I'm going to talk about in this video is Batman: Nightwalker by

Marie Lu. Batman: Nightwalker is the latest adaptation in this whole

superhero DC young adult adaptation series that's had been happening lately.

In this story you are following Bruce Wayne before he becomes Batman. The night

walkers are terrorizing Gotham City and Bruce Wayne is next up on their list. The

city's elites are being taken out one by one

as their home security systems turn on them and basically hold them hostage and

as prey. Meanwhile Bruce is about to turn 18 which gives him access to the huge

inheritance as well as to Bruce industries and all of the tech gadgets

that he loves. But on his way home from his birthday party he makes an impulsive

choice that forces him to do community service at Arkham Asylum. So if you are a

fan of Batman or you are a fan of Marie Lu then this probably will be a

really fun one to pick up. And again that's Batman: nightwalkers. So those are

all of the books I'm going to highlight for this week. Feel free to leave a

Five Ten Quantum VCS climbing shoe - Duration: 1:46.

hi my name's Dave from Five Ten. So the Quantum VCS is a Velcro closure

system version of our popular lace-up Quantum which we introduced about a year ago.

So the Quantum velcro is built on the same last as the lace-up version so

it's a little bit wider in the ball girth here a little bit pointier toe

so really good for pocketed climbing sport climbing but also a very stiff

shoe a very good edging shoe as well it's got stealth c4 which is our most

versatile rubber compound so we use that on the shoes that you're gonna go

on sorta every angle terrain. One of the big differences with the lace-up

version and the velcro version is we've added a lot of rubber over the toe

everything else on the upper with the last is built the same shape and it's

got a perforated tongue here nice and thin very breathable very comfortable for long use

and just a hook and loop closure system

sort of easy on easy off access.

So a lot of our shoes if you look at the the High Angles which are

other sort of very popular down turn shoes you'll see that this is a bit more

of a rounded toe. So the Quantum is for people that want a bit more pointy or

toe box whether it's their foot shape or it's just the type of climbing they're

doing requires a more pointy shoe it's a bit more of a high volume shoe

definitely for for a larger foot in there so if you do have a low volume

feet perhaps going with the lace-up version is a little bit better because

you have a bit more adjustability there

Quantum velcro is also a lined synthetic

it's not really going to stretch all that much just maybe a quarter size so

this will be available in spring 2018 at 185 dollars
