When would I use those?
For example when you want to have a drink. It can either be hot or cold.
You use those words to ask about that.
If you come in summer you will probably prefer a cold drink.
Exactly. - And in Winter you want a hot drink.
It would be nice if you could remember those words.
Okay let's just start on our example.
Ready go: For example.
For example when getting a drink at the vending machine.

Bombay, this fascinating city, a real hustle of culture and diversity,

Lucky us, because Bombay is a city you get to understand in the streets
and through the food which is cooked there,
from the first hour in the morning all the way till the sunset.
You can count on us to try out every single food item,
and even to get our hands dirty.
You may have guessed, Bombay is the perfect spot
to give back some sense to our food !
Bombay, where the culinary tradition meets modernity,
One exemple ?
The dabbawallas, "the ones who carry boxes" in Hindi.
We could observe a great and precise organization
that enables 17 5000 people everyday to eat home-made food on a daily basis :
meals are prepared by the family of the customers
and delivered by bicycle to their office.
Find solutions to safe and healthy food in the city ?
Many people risked themselves to the cause,
but it's Green Souls' initiative that immediately caught our attention.
Who said nothing grew inside cities ?
Urban farming showed us how,
by observing our local environment,
we could get back a little bit of food autonomy inside the city.
Along the way,
we realized that the question of the autonomy was a relative and diverse one :
for some people,
it goes by a return to the nature !
We had been told about an eco-architect who left everything behind
to build his own farm on his family land in the heart of Maharashtra.
His definition of autonomy ?
To know how to grow your own food and make your shelter,
in a natural and independent way.
The material commonly used for the houses of India ?
Cow dung !
This concentrate of fresh herbs is known to be a powerful insect repellent and cut from the heat.
How to use it ?
Mix a handful of cow dung with water and apply on the surface weekly.
After our stop in Maharashtra,
we wanted to meet those for whom the connexion to food cycle
starts from the very young age.

Here, everything works as a cycle
so when we go to the toilets we give back to the nature what belongs to her.
The principle is that everything that we eat is processed by our body

GoPro VS Reality - It always looks smaller on video - Duration: 7:11.
This right here, is called a wearable gimbal.
It runs on batteries, holds a GoPro, and gets mounted to a chest strap.
It makes your footage look really smooth.
Before wearable gimbals became affordable, YouTube channels like BK-XC, Singletrack Sampler,
and Nate Hills were not really possible.
Watching unstabilized GoPro footage is cool for a few seconds, but starts to make you
dizzy after a while.
I should know, as I'll look through hours of it to get the clips I need for my videos.
Sometimes I need to take a break, or take a Tylenol.
In any case, I think action cameras in general give you a skewed sense of the actual terrain.
Gimbal footage, while smooth and pleasant to watch, can further hide some of the features
that are clearly visible in real life.
The three channels I mentioned do a great job of showcasing the terrain with action
cameras—probably better than anyone else out there.
Still, I assure you that those trails look way bigger and scarier in real life.
To give you an idea of what these guys are actually riding, I put together some comparison
clips.
Here's a clip shot on my Hero5 Session with onboard stabilization.
Here's that same section shot with a Hero4 Black on a wearable gimbal.
And here's that section on my Panasonic G7.
It looks somewhat similar on all cameras, since it's on smooth and flowy terrain.
Here's another similar clip shot on the Session.
And on the gimbal.
Finally, on the G7.
You can get a better sense of the terrain in the third person clip.
Let's try something more technical.
Here, I'm riding down some rocks with the gimbal on.
Let's see that again.
How big do you think that rock was?
Let's see it once more with the Hero Session.
Although shaky, we can see those rocks a little better now without the gimbal.
But, I bet you didn't think they were as tall as me.
Shot 3rd person, we can see they're a little bigger.
Here's a step down off wooden platform, shot with the gimbal.
How big would you say it is?
Let's try with the Hero Session.
Okay, now we're starting to see not only the drop, but the gap between the wooden platform
and the landing.
Now shot from different perspective it starts to look way different.
As you can see, the GoPro footage doesn't even come close to revealing the size of this
drop.
Some stuff will look about the same when viewed from either a first person or third person
angle.
Flowy terrain in particular doesn't change dramatically.
It's when things get bumpy that you really lose a sense of what you're looking at.
Here's a little patch of rocks filmed with the gimbal.
Here's the same patch with just a GoPro.
And third person.
Very doable by most mountain bikers, but still it looks like nothing when shot from the chest
mount.
Let's take a look at something different.
Here's a little jump section with wooden lips.
I actually think the GoPro does a decent job in this case, of showing what they look like.
On the camera though, you can see the nose bonk at the beginning, and the true steepness
of the lips.
On the GoPro you can barely see the nose bonk, and the lips look really mellow.
This would also be the case for steep climbs, which probably look mellow on a GoPro.
Even the stuff shot on my G7 looks bigger in real life, because of lost depth perception,
but the shallow depth of field brings a little of it back.
By that, I mean that the focus is sharper in one part of the image than another.
GoPro cameras by design, are made to bring the whole image into focus because they're
supposed to capture the entire scene.
This, along with the wide angle lens, tends to flatten out the terrain.
So why would a camera designed to capture action be made like this?
Why don't they design GoPros to pick up the relief in the terrain?
Well, let's see what that would look like.
Here, I'm riding on a very smooth trail with a high end Sony Camcorder.
It has a floating lens for stabilization, plus a skilled cameraman holding it.
How would you like to watch that all day?
Yeah, a narrow field of view doesn't work so well for first person footage.
It would be like looking through binoculars on a jetski.
So action cameras are not perfect but they are the best tools we have for the job.
Having seen this video, I'd suggest you go back to the channels I mentioned and watch
those videos with a fresh perspective.

Sharpen The Saw: My Morning Ritual & How To Design Your Own - Duration: 4:49.
In Stephen Covey`s The 7 habits of
Highly EffectivePeople, he calls the
seventh habit, "Sharpen The Saw."
He illustrates this sharpen the saw concept
with a story about a woodcutter who`s
having trouble cutting down a tree. A
young guy nearby comes over and asks,
"what are you doing?" The old man asks,
what are you blind?
I'm cutting down this tree. The young
man says, well you look exhausted. You
should take a break. Sharpen the saw.
The old man says, "I don't have time. I need
to cut this tree down now!"
The young man pushes back and says, "if
you sharpen that saw, you`ll cut the tree
down a lot faster.
That`s what I need-that's what we all
need-every morning to sharpen the saw the
body, the mind, the spirit our emotions.
with some kind of morning ritual
something like exercise meditation and
journaling...So, I'm going to give you a
glimpse into my personal morning ritual.
My name is Steve Galatioto with Early
To Wise. I'm starting off with just the
routine stuff here: washing my face
brushing my teeth
you saw me on the bed earlier praying
I usually pray for a few minutes (every morning first thing).
NO coffee yet
Those are my vitamins-it's written in
Japanese. I always have three to four big
cups of water, sometimes with lemon juice,
maybe a spoonful of cinnamon. A timer and
my journal are the basic things I need
and I start off with exercise 10 minutes
of jumping jacks about 50 another 50
pushups and finish off with lots of core
movements like sit ups and planks. The
second part of my ritual is meditation.
Set the timer for 10 minutes
Nothing special-sometimes with my
hands as you see them now-sometimes on
my knees. I have a pillow under me. I let
thoughts come in and out
don't judge them I don't hold on to them
when I feel myself dwelling on
one thought I let it go.
The third part of the ritual another 10
minutes of journaling. I write down and
rewrite my Goals, things I'm grateful for
and the top tasks for the day, usually
two to three " big wins" I call them.
Finally, I write,
usually for about 20 minutes. I work on my
blog, my upcoming book...
"All work and no play makes Jack a dull
boy."
And finally, I have coffee -just sort of relax
before I make breakfast for my wife and
my kids. Sharpen The Saw.
if you don't have a morning ritual yet
start one as soon as possible. It's the
best gift you can give yourself this
year, 2017. It not only creates extra time, it
creates energy, momentum. People think
energy is something we save by sleeping
in or snoozing more, but it`s the opposite!
The exercise that you do in the morning,
that you've seen me do, will create that
momentum, that energy that you need-and
just 7 minutes is enough, too.
Basic jumping jacks, push-ups, taking
a walk, doing something physical to
elevate your body temperature is key and
if i could only choose one thing to do for
my morning ritual, it would be exercise.
