What's The Best Spot To Live On Earth? - Duration: 3:44.

Hey there!

Welcome to Life Noggin.

Imagine being able to move anywhere on Earth.

Where is the best spot to live?

Sure, everyone has different preferences — like being in a cold versus a warm climate — but

most people can agree that they want to live a long, safe, and happy life.

And science can help find the best place for that.

There are tons of studies about where you humans live the longest.

But any measure of life expectancy is just an estimate.

We can't actually know how long you'll live until you…

well, die.

And that's a problem.

If we only study the lifespans of people who've already died — say, everyone born in 1890

— that won't help us figure out today's life expectancy.

We now have better medicine, housing, and sanitation than back then.

So instead, scientists use probability.

They predict how likely it is someone will reach a certain age based on current trends

and conditions.

The countries with the longest lifespans all have strong economies, good access to healthcare,

and generally healthy diets.

Monaco takes the top spot… it's citizens live to be an average of over 85 years old.

In Japan and Hong Kong, the average is over 83 years.

But these numbers could change if a disaster hits or a war breaks out.

For somewhere to be the best place, it also has to be safe.

Japan is at a high risk for disasters because gets a lot of earthquakes and floods.

Even more vulnerable are the islands in Southeast Asia and the central Pacific, which face earthquakes,

storms, and increasing sea levels.

Many of these countries don't have the resources or infrastructure to deal with disasters.

This is important because the same size storm could topple buildings in one place while

leaving another without much damage.

The safest nations are the ones where natural disasters don't happen often, but if they

did, the country could handle them.

Topping the list are Saudi Arabia, Malta, and Qatar.

And they are also some of the happiest.

It's tough to study happiness because it means different things to different people.

So scientists at the United Nations came up with six criteria that apply to every country:

wealth, life expectancy, corruption, social support, freedom to make your own decisions,

and generosity, or how much people donate.[ They talked to people in 150 countries, and

the happiest were in Norway, Denmark, Iceland, and Switzerland.

So which one is the best place to live?

Well, there is one country that ranks near the top in just about every study: Iceland.

It's not only happy and peaceful, but it makes the top 10 in life expectancy and in

safety from natural disasters.

So Iceland is the best!….

Maybe.

It's probably more important to go based on where you feel most comfortable.

Dr Steven Greer, the man who was behind a documentary online that shocked, has said

that if Hilary Clinton had become the president of the United States she would have revealed

the truth about the existence of aliens.

Greer has advocated for the world`s government to admit that aliens that are highly intelligent

have been visiting Earth.

He is convinced that Hilary Clinton knows a great deal more about this than what she

has already revealed to the general public.

A documentary with the name of The Unacknowledged made its way onto iTunes on 9 May and straight

away it become the number one digital documentary around the globe.

Giancarlo Esposito, better known for his part in Breaking Bad, narrated the documentary

under the watchful eye of Michael Mazzola.

Dr. Greer made the film thanks to crowdsourcing funding of around $700,000.

CLINTON AND CAMPAIGN MANAGER HAVE MADE REFERENCES TO ALIENS AND UFOS Hilary Clinton, along with

Mr. John Podesta, her campaign manager, has in the past made many references to aliens

and UFOs throughout the presidential campaign that was long running.

extraterrestrial life does exist but claims that the bodies of aliens were never hidden

would be able to find life other than on Earth as there were far too many planets that are

similar to Earth for them not to do.

He went on to say that he believed that other forms of life would be found and if not in

the solar system of Earth, in some other solar systems out of the billions that in the universe.

Bolden said that Area 51 did exist but that the government in the US was not hiding a

crashed alien spacecraft nor alien bodies.

He said that it was only a normal development and research place and he had not seen any

Okay, so I always do every

month, I do a Beauty Basic

and I give people

some information

that has been helpful

to me and one of the things

that I thought about instantly

when it came to Father's Day,

one of the ones that my

dad has always talked about

is taking vitamin E.

So, I want you to tell everybody

what you typically tell

me about taking this vitamin.

- Well, there's things

that we can do to prevent

the aging process and it's

never too early to get started.

Vitamin E in particular like

a lot of vitamins A, K, C, D,

but E is very, very important.

It helps us internally,

it helps us externally,

there's a lot of free

radicals in the atmosphere

and it serves to remove,

it's an antioxidant,

and vitamin E is

critical to our skin,

to our cell function, and I

just truly believe in it, yeah.

- And look at him, he's 62 and

I think he looks incredible,

it's just my opinion,

I think he's handsome.

So, it obviously works.

Right?

- Well, thank you, thank you.

And you can get vitamin E

in your food, in your diet,

by way of a cream,

by way of vitamins,

and your cream can be a 99 cent

cream or a 99 dollar cream,

but the idea is the

discipline of using it.

Partners in Philanthropy: Herman B Wells Visionary Award 2017 - Duration: 6:42.

Narrator: The Herman B. Wells Visionary Award

honors those individuals whose lifetime commitment

of time, talent, and treasure to Indiana University

reveals a deep understanding of the power of philanthropy

to shape the future of the institution.

-: Visionary is a great word to describe Bob,

'cause I think anybody who gives a gift of this magnitude

to an institution has to be a visionary.

Somebody has to see something that's bigger than himself,

something that's gonna last beyond his lifetime.

Narrator: And what a life it's been

for Robert H. McKinney.

Born and raised in Indianapolis,

Bob graduated high school early, in just three years,

so he could attend the US Naval Academy.

He served his country as an engineer

on various ships during World War II.

He loved the Navy, and might just

have made a career out of it,

if it weren't for one small problem.

-: I didn't like engineering,

so I had the ability but not the interest.

So, I decided I had to change my career,

and so I quickly decided to change to be a lawyer.

And I was lucky to get into the law school

at Indianapolis on short notice.

Narrator: After another deployment

interrupted his studies,

this time for the Korean War,

Bob returned to law school at IU Bloomington,

graduating in 1951.

-: He was the chair of the Federal Home Loan Bank

in Washington, DC.

He was a highly successful businessman and attorney.

He is community-spirited.

Bob hits every note with respect to the very best

of the legal profession.

Narrator: Over the years, Bob also worked

on several high-profile political campaigns,

including then Indian governor, Evan Byes.

That relationship resulted in an appointment

to the Indian University Board of Trustees,

where he served from 1989 to 1998,

including a year as board president.

-: Bob is a questioner.

Bob makes you think.

Bob makes you defend your positions.

When he's involved in things,

he is not just the person who sits,

and listens, and walks away.

All the parts of IU that he has touched

through the Board of Trustees,

his service on the IU Foundation Board,

and the IU PUI Board of Advisors,

the Law School Advisory Board,

Board of Visitors,

Bob has made all those groups better.

He has caused people to be more thoughtful

and defend their positions,

think through their positions more carefully,

because he's been there,

and been actively engaged with them.

Narrator: Bob's commitment to Indiana University,

as a volunteer, as an advocate,

and as a philanthropist is unfailing.

So when challenged by Gene Temple to identify

new fundraising support,

Bob didn't look far.

-: It's an idea that I had mentioned to him,

but it was a surprise when he put the papers on the table

and had worked out some ideas about

how he'd like to endow the law school.

-: I admire the fact that the Indianapolis school

had graduated so many of our leaders in our state,

how involved it was in the state,

how important it was for the state,

how it was kind of a jewel that wasn't recognized,

and I thought I could do something to recognize it.

Narrator: But simply recognizing it wouldn't be enough.

-: I wanted not only to fund it,

I wanted to help change it.

-: Bob applies his business skills

to philanthropy as well,

so his gift is not simply a gift.

Bob set up some incentives for the law school,

so that he gave the school some things to work on

as a result of receiving the gift,

so it wasn't just his support alone,

but the support of his fellow alumni

who were gonna help make the law school great.

Narrator: Bob's gift of $24 million

provided for endowed chairs, student scholarships,

and culminated in a renaming event in late 2011.

-: The atrium was packed.

There were students hanging over the rafters.

It was the best day that I can remember in our building.

-: It was just a fun event,

and I was overwhelmed by it.

The words were very kind, and it was a fun event

for my family to be there.

I greatly enjoyed it.

-: One of the things Bob noted

was that if somebody cares about

the future of our city, the future of our state,

there might not be a better place to invest

than the IU McKinney School of Law.

-: The thing about this school is,

most of the students stay in Indiana.

They don't go elsewhere.

So this is a great place

to build our leadership for Indiana.

-: McKinney's name is synonymous with leadership,

with vision, with integrity, with professionalism.

So, having our school named after McKinney

gives us all those,

and attracts the kinds of students

that we want to attract here,

and the faculty that we want here.

-: It was wonderful to get Bob's philanthropy

and the dollars that allow us to

engage in activities and bring people to our building

that we never could,

but it's his name that may make

more of a difference than anything else,

because it puts a human face on an institution,

and a human face of which

everybody affiliated with the school is very proud.

Narrator: "Doing well by doing good" was Bob's motto

during his time in the for-profit sector.

However, in the context of philanthropy,

perhaps that saying is more accurate when reversed.

Bob did well, and thanks to that success,

he's done good time and time again for Indiana University,

not only with his generous gifts,

but also with his wisdom and leadership.

-: So we wanna thank Bob McKinney and others

who have helped us increase the quality of our programs,

and increase the reach of IUPUI

to students that otherwise

we may not have been able to recruit,

and retain, and graduate from IUPUI.

-: I was raised in a house where people did civic things.

I had a great set of parents.

My parents were very generous with their time.

There were tough times in those years.

This was during the Depression years.

So I guess I learned that

you don't just do nothing,

you participate in society.

That's my basic belief is giving back

for all the blessings we have.

Those of us who have should try to help those who haven't.

#GetReadyWithMe: Pia Arrobio's favorite makeup look - Duration: 5:37.

We're in Venice Beach, California, and I'm about to put my face on.

Come on!

I've been doing my makeup since I was like eight because my mom used to sit at her vanity

and do her makeup, and I always thought it was so elegant, so I would sit next to her

and watch everything she did before she would go to dinner and leave me with a babysitter.

So, I've been doing my makeup since I was little and I truly feel like I have the perfect

collection of the most perfect products.

So, I always use this Ayur Medic wash because I have acne and I have really bad melasma.

I get really dark all around here and on my forehead.

I have crazy skin, so I use the Glossier Priming Moisturizer.

It's still light outside now, because it's summer.

I put on SPF even though it's nighttime because I don't want any wrinkles.

I don't feel like I'm wearing sunscreen.

Soaked right into my skin like a baby.

I like getting in these Instagram k-holes for makeup contouring, which obviously I'm

not into, but everyone uses a primer.

Normally I'll put makeup on, and an hour later, it's slipped down my face.

So in my purse, I always bring extra makeup.

So now with this, I feel like my makeup stays more.

I wish I was one of those girls that's like, "I just put a little bit here and I like

to be natural."

I like to be really gaudy in like an elegant way.

A friend of mine gave me this Fiona Stiles, so I always use this Chanel brush.

I wash it once a week just to make sure that bacteria doesn't thrive in there.

And I just kind of paint it all over so I have one base coat.

Just drag it down, because when I see girls with a line of makeup on their neck, it makes

me sad.

Filmstar Bronze and Glow, I'm obsessed.

I have this Nars brush, I can't remember what it's called.

I do this, and then I blend it.

And then, I had a makeup artist tell me to always do the 3 and the E, so I just follow

that, then under my neck.

I am also, very pale because I am terrified of the sun.

So, I paint on tan.

Blended.

Glossier, it's messy because I use it everyday, I use the Glossier Boy Brow.

Honestly, the Boy Brow is the best way for me to apply color.

I just kind of drag it down the side and I get all of the scragglers.

I mean, isn't that glorious?

I like to keep everything tonal, so I use this Charlotte Tilbury, the Golden Goddess.

This bronze-y color, so I just use a little bit of this.

I just rub it in messily.

This is my new secret weapon.

People stop me on the street.

So, I put this on every time I put mascara on.

Just a little bit at the root.

And my eyelashes have grown exponentially since I started using it, and it's $40 on

Amazon.

L'oreal Voluminous Primer, which my mother put me on to.

I'm obsessed with having really gaudy, huge eyelashes.

I use this Dior Pumper, and I'll do this for a million hours

I mean, have you ever?

It's crazy.

I love blush.

I use Chanel Rose Bronze.

I put it on the apples of my cheeks.

I put it here, here.

I have an eyelash curler in my makeup bag, in my car, and in my office.

It is just miraculous.

And I like to spread them out.

Great.

This is not the official packaging.

I'm using this new Glossier balm because it tastes like cake.

My hair is stick straight.

I didn't even really blow dry it this morning, it dries like this.

It doesn't keep a curl, it gets greasy really fast, and it doesn't have a lot of volume.

It's stick straight.

So I brush it with always, always, always, a Mason Pearson brush.

And then, Ouai Dry Shampoo.

And that's like kind of it.

I like to wash my hair once a week.

I also have a trick to keeping it this shiny.

I workout every morning before work.

I put it up in a bun and I put coconut oil all over my hair and I put it in a bun, and

by the time the weekend comes, I wash it and my hair is silk.

Right before I go out, I take the same foundation brush and just go under my eyes one more time

incase any shadow fell.

That's about it.

At least my makeup won't fly off.

How To Rap: Practice Counting Bars (Lots of Examples!) - Duration: 7:02.

what's up guys it's Dono in this video

we're going to be talking about how to

count bars over any beat so I got a

question about how to do that and I

don't have a really quick way that you

can learn to count the bars over every

single beat it's going to definitely

take some practice but this video is

going to have a couple different tips as

well as just some more practices and

exercises and ways that you can approach

it so that before long you'll be able to

count the bars over any beat now really

what you're going to need to do is

practice counting bars on a lot of

different beats as you expose yourself

to a lot of different kinds of beats

you're going to get better at it and

then naturally over time you'll be able

to count to all kinds of beats almost as

soon as they come on now let's talk

about a couple ways that you can

actually practice this if you're having

a hard time just starting to count them

in general on top of that if you haven't

watched my other video on counting bars

already you should definitely do that

because that's going to help you out but

one thing that you can do is you can

look for the kick or the snare because

in most rap music there's going to be a

beat on the two and four count that you

can use to help you out to cheat a

little bit to figure out where the beat

is coming from if you don't know already

when you count beats it's going to be in

a 4/4 time signature which basically

means you go 1 2 3 4 and that's going to

be 1 bar if you're not able to find that

2 & 4 account then you're going to want

to look for patterns that repeat

themselves in sets of four if you're

having a hard time with that there's a

couple other things that you can try so

let's go over a couple examples that I

think will help you be able to see what
