- Gangnam Hospital? / - Yes.
- No way. / - What is it?
Do you know the hospital?
I do. Very well.
Hong Jiwon.
I won't forgive you.
(Episode 34)
Lawyer Yun. What brings you here at this hour?
Madam.
I have to ask you something.
Hurry up.
We have to stop Seol.
Sir.
What are you doing here at this hour?
Is Seol home by any chance?
We were talking, but then she disappeared.
No one was answering the doorbell.
Oh, Seol? She was with us until a minute ago
and went somewhere.
I thought something happened.
We were talking, but then she disappeared
while I went go buy some drinks.
I think she took my phone too,
so I had no way of contacting her.
She'll be home soon.
Why don't you come inside?
You want to ask me something?
What's so urgent that you came to our house
this late at night?
Seol.
Mother?
Madam Seo, you're here too?
What are you doing here?
You should've told me you were coming.
We could've come together.
My apologies for disturbing you so late.
What is it?
What made both of you come?
What's going on? How rude.
Grandma.
It's the lawyer lady.
Hello.
You even woke the kids.
Why did you come down? You should be sleeping.
Grandma, are you fighting?
Why would the lawyer lady and grandma fight?
Did you come over to play?
Why don't we send the kids up and then talk?
Haeju, take the kids up.
Let's go upstairs.
Let's not do this here.
Why don't you wait for us in the study?
It's right there.
We were ready for bed,
so we'll go change.
Maid, bring out some tea.
What are you thinking?
How could you do this? Think, will you?
If you ask what happened to Bom,
do you think Jiwon will come out
and admit what she did and explain what happened?
Bom died at Gangnam Hospital.
That hospital is like Jiwon's alter ego.
Bom was healthy.
How could she die so easily from pneumonia?
So?
Jiwon came to the prison and asked...
How my baby was...
And that she'd make me feel the pain
of losing my child.
Is someone here?
This is so ridiculous.
Lawyer Yun and her mother suddenly barged in.
- Why? / - How would I know?
They suddenly barged in in the middle of the night.
They have absolutely no manners.
The kids will hear you. Maya, let's go to bed.
Gaya, let's go.
How rude of them.
They want to talk to you.
Must I be there too?
No!
It's obvious Jiwon was involved with Bom's death.
How can I hold myself back?
I'm going to ask her.
I'm going to question...
- What she did to Bom. / - Snap out of it.
It's only your gut feeling that she was involved
with Bom's death.
You have no proof.
You don't have evidence that will corner her
into confessing.
I don't need evidence.
I'm going to ask what she did to my baby.
The moment you do,
you'll be announcing, "I'm Son Yeori."
Then Bom will be lost forever
without ever having her mom hold her.
If they find out you're Yeori,
you won't go down alone.
It won't be just me and your dad.
Innocent and kind Oliver will also go to jail.
Even if we don't question Jiwon right now,
we can just find Bom's traces.
Even if Jiwon really did do something to Bom,
we need proof first.
Not now. You need to get it together.
I'm coming in.
Hush.
What's this?
Did they lock it or did it lock by itself?
We'll all die without gaining anything.
Bom wouldn't want you to be dragged back
to prison like this.
You bet your entire life on this revenge.
We can't let it end like this.
Okay.
I wasn't thinking.
- I'm sorry. / - Lawyer Yun, are you inside?
Madam Seo, please open the door.
Just a minute. Please let us talk a little bit longer.
What?
Seol told you about Bom?
Yes. She must've let me into her heart.
It must've been quite a shock for you.
I don't dwell on the past.
I like Seol for who she is now.
I'm sure it was difficult for her to tell you about Bom,
so she'll probably be uncomfortable seeing you.
So you should go home.
I'll tell her you stopped by.
No. I need to see her
before I go in order to sleep well.
If by chance, she feels bad,
I want to tell her not to.
You're so stubborn. Fine. I'll give her a call.
Once we leave this room,
they'll ask why we came here.
We need to think of
a convincing excuse.
What's up? We're still at Chairman Gu's house.
Dochi came over.
He wants to see Seol.
Dochi is there?
Send him home for now.
I'm sure
Seol doesn't want to see him tonight either.
Dochi came over?
I was with him and just took off.
That's it.
Let's say we're here because of Dochi.
Excuse me?
We're terribly sorry.
I needed to talk to Seol.
It must've been very important.
What is it?
It must have something to do with us,
or you wouldn't be here.
I've decided to date Dochi
as you asked me to.
You barged in here rudely
this late at night just to tell us that?
Do you even know where you are?
What do you take us for...
I thought Chairman Gu and Madam Hong
would be waiting anxiously.
I wanted to tell them right away
when I made up my mind,
so that I wouldn't change my mind later.
That is good news.
But is that all?
There's nothing else?
No.
Regardless, we're grateful that you've decided
to do as we asked.
Madam Seo, is there anything else?
I stopped by to talk to you
about getting Seol and Dochi together as well.
But after talking to her,
I realize I wasted a trip.
I've become anxious with age.
My goodness.
You're here anyway,
so please stay for tea.
No. It will wake me up later
and make me run to the bathroom.
Mother.
I need to talk to Chairman Gu and Madam Hong
alone so go home first.
Sure.
I'll get going then.
My apologies for intruding so late at night.
Have a seat.
I've thought hard about what you said to me
at the office.
If you guarantee
that I'll be the COO of the resort,
I will agree not to tell Dochi about the sale
of Wid Fashion.
Of course.
I never go back on my word.
I always follow through with what I say.
But verbal promises aren't all that reliable.
Would you like me to write an oath?
An oath carries no weight legally.
Please give me 1% of your shares.
What did you just say?
You want 1% of his shares?
I won't demand an answer right away either.
Just let me know as soon as you can.
Okay then. I'll see you at the office tomorrow.
What's going on?
You came here at this hour just to say
you'll date Dochi?
No. Of course not.
I asked the chairman
to give me 1% of his shares.
And?
Obviously, he needs to think about it.
But I'm sure he'll agree.
Since we've decided to take over Wid Group,
we have to do it right.
Haeju
said she'd give me half of her shares, so just wait.
Get home safely.
Haeju is home, so I can't drive you home.
Okay. Go inside.
She may get angry if she sees us.
She wants your shares? That was random.
What could she be thinking?
1% isn't that unreasonable.
The COO of the resort can have that much stock.
So? Will you agree?
I don't know.
I'll have to think about it.
Don't you think it's strange?
She said she came to ask me something.
But if it was about Dochi and company stock,
she could've talked to you at the office instead.
Maybe she felt more comfortable talking to you
since you're a woman.
Let's finish our conversation from before.
I'm going to give half of my shares to Muyeol.
No! Why would you give what's yours to him?
Once you start giving things to someone,
it's human nature to want more and more.
It'll become a habit.
Muyeol isn't a beggar.
Why would he demand more?
It's because you two have no respect for him,
that I want to give him more.
A spouse is nobody once you get a divorce.
A man
shows his true colors if he has more money
than he can handle.
If he takes your shares and divorces you,
it'll be too late to regret it.
Why would we get a divorce?
Go to bed.
We're tired too.
Dad.
Seol!
What happened? Why did you take off like that?
I was so worried
that something happened to you.
I'm sorry.
Something urgent came up.
You left it on the bench, so I took it with me
in case someone would take it.
You look tired. Let's talk in the car.
After hearing about Bom...
I wanted to see you again before I left.
I'll help you with Bom's memorials from now on.
Dochi.
You can't erase the painful memories,
but don't live in hiding, buried under them.
Let's think about...
How you and I...
Can be happy together.
I just
went to your house and told them
that you and I are going to date.
What? We're officially a couple then.
But...
Why do you look so down?
Is it because of Bom?
The truth is...
We lost Bom's ashes.
What?
How...
How did you lose her ashes?
We were moving her to another grove...
And I dropped her urn by mistake.
But it was empty.
I'll help you find her.
Let's find Bom together.
I'll help in any way I can.
I heard you told Dochi about Bom.
Your dad told me.
I just told him how her urn was empty.
And? What did he say?
He said he'd look with me.
He wants to help.
How kind of him.
He is such a great kid.
That's why I feel so bad.
If he finds out who Bom's dad is,
and that I'm Yeori...
Dochi will be traumatized for sure.
Anyway, I'll go to Gangnam Hospital tomorrow
and take a look at Bom's medical records.
The law requires them to keep
medical records for 10 years,
so they must have them.
Be very careful.
You can't let them know that you're Bom's mom.
Bom.
Where are you?
Come back to mommy.
I need to get out of here.
Those women are scary.

I don't think the thief was the only one
trying to sneak his way out.
What do you mean?
Imagine if Mr. Jang weren't here.
If a thief broke in and it was just the two of us...
It's scary, just thinking about it.
That's true.
I think we should thank him, don't you?
He saved our lives.
No, don't.
I can't live here, no matter what you do or say.
Gaya has his check-up today.
I hope he's okay.
I'm always so worried
about his health.
He'll be fine. Don't worry.
I'll go to the office afterward.
You know it's my mother's birthday today, right?
You're right. I'll send her money.
The best gift for her is to see her children.
Let's take her out to lunch.
I'll come to your store.
Must I go too?
I'll get indigestion if I eat with her.
Her birthday comes around once a year, so please.

Also, about the stock I mentioned
that I'd give to you...
I told you, I don't need it.
I'll think about it some more.

But that doesn't mean I don't trust you.
I just want to think it over some more.

I didn't expect it anyway.
See you later.
Is this the admission?
I'm with Wid Group's legal department.
I'm calling to make sure you are keeping
our employee's medical records as requested.
Of course.
The law requires us to keep them for 10 years,
so we plan to destroy records
that are over 10 years old.
I'll stop by the hospital to check,
so please don't destroy them until I get there.

You agreed to give her 1% of your shares?
- No. / - Then?
The chairman said he'd give me 2%
of his shares of Wid Group.
2%?
He must really be desperate for your mother's land.
What about you? Is Haeju giving you her shares?
Actually, she's hesitating.
But I'll get it eventually.
You'll get 2% you get from the chairman,
and of Haeju's 15%, I'll take about 10%.
That plus Gaya and Maya's shares
and the ones your mother buys,
should add up to 20%.
Chairman Gu has 25%.
If they combine his shares,
Madam Hong's shares and Haeju's,
that's over 30%.
That's why you need to bring Dochi's 5%.
And then?
We'll make Wid Fashion's stock price jump for now.
We'll sell our 20% and make a huge profit.
Then we'll make the stock price fall,
and buy up stock for cheap.
Then we will surpass Chairman Gu
and be the largest shareholder.
Then I'll divorce Haeju...

5 Things That Old Souls Do Differently From Everyone Else - Duration: 5:05.
5 Things That Old Souls Do Differently From Everyone Else
BY GOSTICA
People who have old souls are some of the most understanding individuals of all time.
They are able to go through life taking all of what they have experienced, learned, endured
and turning it into something that almost all of us are able to relate too.
They view the world for exactly what it is, looking deeper into profound insights that
they have gained throughout the years, and are able to demonstrate just how grateful
they are to be apart of the earth.
Old souls express things that most of us are too scared to admit too, however, they somehow
make it easier on the rest of us because of how wise and understanding they are.
These five qualities to an old soul demonstrate what it means to be in tune with the world
around you and what it means to feel something more than what everyone else is able too.
1.
Only Have Select Close Friends
Old souls have a hard time being friends with literally everyone in their life.
They are only able to continue friendships with a handful of select people that have
made a very huge impact on their life.
They would rather much spend their energy on people who are able to understand their
complex ideas as well as their intense demeanor.
Its nothing personal when an old soul doesnt want to be too close of a friend to you and
its mostly because they do not want to make others feel insignificant in anyway.
2.
Critical Thinkers
Old souls tend to be some of the most intense critical thinkers out of all of their friends.
They are constantly processing every single little bit of knowledge they have been given
throughout the day, their experiences, their emotions, there is always something on their
mind no matter what.
This leads to old souls being some of the hungriest for knowledge as well since they
are relentlessly seeking answers to questions they form in their head.
3.
Forge Their Own Destiny
Old souls do not believe that they must follow a specific way or a specific trend in order
to function in society.
In fact, they know all too well what makes them happy and will do everything in their
power to get it.
This means forging a path that is specifically designed for them and this is what its
going to take in order to achieve what they are looking for in life.
They will inspire many in their wake and love to demonstrate what it means by taking control
of your life.
4.
Tireless Learners
Everyday has something new for an old soul to learn from.
They are tirelessly learning even when they think they arent.
Again, old souls are some of the most critical thinkers, so giving them a challenge is like
giving them a present on their birthday.
Knowledge is power to an old soul and they utilize the information that theyve gathered
well.
Telling others about the wisdom they have gained is a treasured opportunity that they
hold close to their heart simply because they want others to know exactly what they have
experienced.
5.
Able To Adapt To New Places
Most old souls are able to adapt to their surroundings without any trouble, however,
they will feel as if they are an outcast compared to the rest of everyone else.
Old souls are able to get along everyone who comes their way, but can also have a hard
time carrying on conversations with others who do not have the same mental capacity as
they do.
They will begin to show when they are getting bored or tired of the current situation and
well immediately seek a resolution to the problem.
Old souls are some of the best company to have around especially if you plan on traveling
the world or want to learn something new that youve never experienced before.
Are you or any of your friends old souls?

zarda pulao recipe - how to make zarda pulao, meethe chawal recipe - voice video - Duration: 3:25.
welcome to veg recipe of india channel. today's recipe is zarda pulao, also known as meethe chawal.
so lets begin. take a 2 litre pressure cooker and add 1 cup water. add ⅛ teaspoon
saffron. stir well so that the saffron strands get mixed in water.
now add ½ cup basmati rice. basmati rice has been soaked in water for 30 minutes.
add 5 to 6 cloves. you can even add 7 to 8 cloves if you want. mix very well and then pressure cook for 2 whistles on
medium heat. once the pressure settles down in the cooker, then open the lid and check the rice.
gently fluff the rice. the grains should be separate. keep the rice aside.
and take a heavy bottomed kadai or pan. add 3 tablespoon ghee. with a spoon or spatula spread
the ghee on sides of the pan very well. this is done so that the rice grains do not stick
to the pan while cooking. now add cooked rice in the pan. do note that the pan is not yet
heated. we are just adding the rice. add ½ cup sugar. add ¾ teaspoon cardamom powder.
now heat up the pan and gently mix the sugar with the rice. mix well so that the sugar
is evenly mixed with the rice. keep the flame to a low and begin to cook zarda pulao mixture.
initially you will see the sugar melts and there will some liquid consistency in the
pulao. we need to continue to cook till the mixture becomes dry and the sugar solution
dries up. stir occasionally when the mixture is getting cooked. you don't need to stir
very often. stir gently and lightly. continue to cook on a low heat or low flame till all
the sugar solution is evaporated. check a few rice grains when cooking and if they feel hard
then cover the pan with a moist napkin or cloth. cover with a lid and simmer on a low
flame for 20 to 30 seconds. now the sugar solution has evaporated. so we can add some
choppe dry fruits like chopped almonds, pistachios, chopped cashews. mix well and then switch
off the flame. so our zarda pulao is ready to be served. you can serve zarda pulao or
meethe chawal hot or warm. while serving garnish with some chopped almonds, pistachios, cashews.

Christian Dating Advice | Christian Singles | Answering Your Questions Part 1 - Duration: 5:05.
Happy Tuesday friends. Tiffany Dawn here and today we actually have the start of
a series for the week which is answering some of your questions. I love hearing
from you all in the comments and I decided to do a video series. It was
going to just be a video but it's 20 minutes long so instead you get like 4
videos this week. And we're gonna talk about some of the questions that you
guys have commented or emailed me. What is happening to my phone? ... Siri was
listening to me that whole time! Anyway that's funny. So today we're going to do
one question and then each day this week you're going to get another question and
it should be really fun. So first let me just start off with this
quick question. Victoria says ...
... Great question
Yes. It's tiffanydawn@tiffanydawn.net, and I love hearing from you.
Sometimes it takes me a little while to respond because I kind of stuck at keeping
up with my emails but I love reading them and I will write back eventually.
Um okay number one is from an email: ...
So the short answer is no. You don't have to be perfect because that's the beautiful thing about
marriage, like God uses it to bring all this stuff these character flaws and
selfishness to light and to work on us to make us more like Him. But that being
said I think there's also a balance, so there are some things that I think are
helpful to prepare for. One of the big things is that a lot of people think
that once they get married their loneliness will go away or their lust
will go away or the fact that they've been fighting so much with their
boyfriend that'll just disappear. But marriage doesn't magically fix anything. Instead marriage brings heart issues to light which can be really a painful
process, so that you can deal with them and become more like Christ. But your
loneliness isn't just going to go away, your lust isn't just going to go away,
like you're gonna have to work through those things with God whether you're
married or single. So you may as well start working on them now, you know? And
there's like the practical things. Like honestly it is so helpful if you and her
husband have a way to support yourselves after you get married - like some kind of
job, some income, somewhere to live - like that just takes so much stress off,
because the first year of marriage can be really stressful already. But as far
as like having all your ducks in a row, like there's no perfect time to get
married. One thing I really thought was I have to
be content, perfectly content, in order to get married. And I thought that
contentment meant no longer wanting to get married, like if I had a desire for a
husband, I'd blown it and God was not going to send my husband until I got
that fixed. Because so many women in the church were like, "As soon as I became
content, no longer wanted to get married, then God sent my husband." Okay
here's what I've learned. Like contentment is not about losing a desire
for something. Like in Philippians 4, you know 4:13 where Paul's like I can do all
things through Christ who gives me strength? Well the context of that verse
is he was saying I have learned that when I'm full or when I'm hungry, when I
have everything, when I have nothing, in all those situations I can be content;
I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. And that verse really
hit me one day, because it was like, wow so when you're hungry like you don't
forget that you're hungry. And Paul's not saying I am so spiritually content that
if you offer me a juicy steak I would refuse it. No he'd be like give me that
steak; you can hear my stomach grumbling, you know? But like he learned that he
could be content anyway because contentment is not a change in
circumstance, it's not a change in what you want or losing the desire for
something; contentment is just a surrendered state of heart, and saying
God I really want to get married, but I choose to give that to you. And instead
of just running after the first guy who's somewhat decent, even though he's
really not that great and he doesn't even love you - like instead of doing that
I'm gonna say, "God I give this to you again and again." So that was a big thing
for me, like I thought I have to no longer wanna get married and then I'll
get married. No that's not true. I never lost the desire for marriage and I
really believe I became content so to speak, and that I was no longer obsessed
with like I have to get married right now and I'm miserable until I do (that's
how I was my early 20s), but I feel at 26 or 25 I became
content, where I was like I still want to get married but God I want your will
even more than I want to get married. And I love that my story is I became content
and then I was single for a few more years.
God did not just send my husband right away; instead He let me be single and
live life with Him. And you can learn more about that amazing story, because
that was such a gift to me, in my video called "To all the single girls," so I have
that linked down in the description below. So for now we will call it a break
until tomorrow. So feel free to hit that like button if you liked this video and
if you want to see more videos like this hit the subscribe button and join us
again tomorrow for the next video in this video series.

THIS POWDER IS EVEN BETTER THAN BAKING SODA – IT CAN REDUCE PAIN IN 2 MINUTES AND HEAL
THE WHOLE BODY! (RECIPE)
It's cheap, easily available and more powerful against pain than anything else! All you need
to do is mix this powder with a bit of water and rub it on the painful spot. We're talking
about magnesium lotion, a powerful homemade oily mixture that can solve numerous health
problems without any side-effects. The magnesium lotion can reduce different
kinds of pain and is especially effective against various skin problems. It can protect
the skin from the harmful action of the sun's UV rays and hydrate it, while also healing
your whole body. Magnesium is one of the most important minerals in the body – it plays
a part in more than 300 processes and is absolutely essential for our bones, muscles and skin.
Here are some of magnesium's main functions: Keeps the bones strong;
Regulates the energy levels; Relieves inflammation;
Improves the absorption of vitamin D from the sun;
Boosts circulation; Reduces the risk of diabetes;
Accelerates the healing of wounds. Although everyone knows how important it is,
most of us are magnesium deficient. Lack of magnesium in the body is a serious problem
that can cause various diseases and conditions. Besides adding the mineral through your diet,
you can also increase the levels through your skin with the help of the magnesium lotion.
All you need to prepare it is magnesium chloride and some boiling water.
Dr. Normal Shelley is an American holistic medicine expert that conducted a research
on the effects of magnesium chloride on our health. He applied the lotion on the skin
of the subjects for a month, and in the end 75% of them had significantly higher levels
of magnesium in the body!
HERE'S HOW TO PREPARE THE LOTION AT HOME: Ingredients
½ a cup of magnesium chloride powder (available at any pharmacy)
3 tablespoons of boiling water Preparation
Mix the powder with the water and apply the paste on your skin. This amazing lotion can
reduce the pain in your joints and muscles and will also take care of your skin. If you
want to make your skin smoother and softer as well, add some shea butter in it and use
it as a daily cream.

This Organization Is Trying to End Child Marriage in the U.S. [INSIGHTS] - Duration: 2:40.
Right now marriage before 18 is legal in all 50 U.S. states.
And in fact 27 states don't even set a minimum age
below which a child cannot marry.
Arms chained!
Mouths taped!
Trapped and Silenced.
This is what life is like for the many thousands of girls,
who have been forced into marriages recently.
We had a chain-in right here
in front of the statehouse in Trenton.
My family pressured me into an arranged marriage
to a man who turned out to be violent.
And I was trapped in that marriage for 15 years.
I had no reproductive rights,
not allowed to use birth control.
And I had no financial rights.
I wasn't allowed to work or have a bank account
or a credit card in my own name.
So after 15 years trapped in that abusive marriage,
I managed to escape.
And I rebuilt my life and then founded Unchained At Last
to help other women and girls say "no" to marriage.
What would you do if you were a 16- or 17-year-old girl,
and you were forced to make that terrible decision?
The girls who have reached out to Unchained At Last
to ask for help and to figure out what to do in that situation,
I'll tell you what they've done!
Almost all of them have turned to self-harm and suicide attempts!
Well, you know, these chain-ins are always such an emotional experience,
and it's always wonderful to see the looks on the faces
of the people passing by who say,
"What's going on? What, child marriage?
That happens here?"
At first they ask, "Are you talking about Bangladesh?"
No, we're talking about right here in your state.
Most members of the public,
most thinking, caring people want child marriage to end.
Right now, legislation is pending in multiple states
that would either end or limit child marriage.
So we plan to keep doing this in as many states as possible.
So when people find out about this,
I hope that they will pick up the phone
and call your legislator.
Make sure your legislators and your governor know
that you're not OK with this human rights abuse.
We're not gonna stop.
And we're not gonna be silenced.
Not for those little girls.
We're just gonna keep going.

J.Crew Style Hacks: #jcrewpacks Edition - Duration: 2:41.
Style.
Hacks.
Style Hacks.
Hi guys, welcome to Style Hacks: The Packing Edition.
This time we've enlisted the help of a travel expert, Miss Lucy Laucht.
She's here to help us pack the perfect summer weekend bag.
Hi guys!
Yup, no over-packing on my watch.
It's all in the edit.
So in the summer collection, basically, everything goes with everything.
A million outfit options.
Which helps avoid this.
Let's do this!
We're going to use a Paravel suitcase, which collapses completely flat
and is made from lightweight and durable Italian fabric.
Here we went with whites, blues, and this fun postcard pattern.
Very travel-appropriate.
Pack pieces that do double-duty, like this reversible bikini, a button-up that can also
be a beach cover-up, and a dress that can go straight from the beach to evening.
These neutral sandals go with everything in your suitcase.
Dressy enough for any last-minute invitations.
This Signet bag can be worn cross-body, aka hands-free for things
like eating ice cream or riding a bike.
Always pack a statement earring.
They virtually take up no room, and instantly transform any outfit.
Remember: stripes go with everything.
Perfect for a plane, train, or car ride, your favorite denim and tennis shoes.
Whoa!
That's a lot of outfits
Yikes!
We crunched the numbers, and that's a permutation of over...
28 outfits!
Wow!
So after a trip across the U.S. in a Volkswagen camper van, 22 flights to 17 countries
in the past 6 months, I know a thing or two about how to pack.
It saves room and keeps wrinkles away.
And bonus: if you're packing with fabrics like cotton or linen that travel well,
they'll look ok just a little bit rumpled
For a laundry bag in the hotel, and then, on your way back, you've got room for souvenirs.
I just cannot travel without these essentials: my facial spritz, and my eye mask,
and of course my camera.
My creature comforts?
I don't leave home without Hank, Hank Jr., and Halsey.
And there you go!
The perfectly-packed weekend bag.
Thanks for joining us!
See you next time.
Bye guys, thanks for having me. Bye!

How the Bronx brought breaking to the world - Duration: 5:05.
There's this scene in the movie Flashdance,
where some b-boys are toprocking, busting out backspins, freezes,
and a move that would later be called the moonwalk.
But they aren't just some random kids;
they're members of the Rock Steady Crew —
one of the most influential [dance] crews that brought Hollywood fame to breaking.
Many people recognize the term breakdancing,
a name coined by the media in the 1980s, but the pioneers and practitioners of the dance form call it b-boying or breaking.
The name breaking is broadly believed to have come from DJ Kool Herc in the Bronx in New York City.
When hosting block parties in the 1970s, he started isolating the beats to create breaks in the songs.
Joseph: It refers to a moment in the song where you build tension by having the
instruments drop out and just having percussion or percussion and bass. Basically just the rhythm section.
A really important scholar, Barbara Browning, had this great way to describe it where she says,
"You feel compelled to fill the silence with motion."
The break is a part of a lot of African American and Afro Caribbean music,
especially Latino music is a big part of the roots of this dance.
Puerto Rican and Cuban music in particular.
Traditionally, b-boys and b-girls danced to a mix of funk, soul, jazz, techno, rock, and disco.
Joseph: The sound of the music is very aggressive, and very percussive. It's a battle dance, so the music get people in the mood to battle.
Joseph: You want to really be able to rock the beat, you want to be able to play with those rhythms, and reflect them in your body.
Breaking is made up of four elements: toprock, downrock, power moves, and freezes.
Toprock is the foot movement from a standing position.
It's the first display of style and a warm-up for the acrobatics of downrock.
Downrock is when breakers use their hands and feet on the floor.
This is where they show off foot speed and control of their footwork.
From there a b-boy can move into power moves like the windmill and headspins.
These moves need momentum and a ton of physical power.
And the last element is a freeze,
when a b-girl stops dancing and holds a position that requires incredible balance.
These elements often draw movements from disciplines like kung-fu, tap dance, gymnastics, and capoeira.
But there's more to it. When Breaking first began, it was a way for disadvantaged kids in the Bronx to be recognized.
It helped transform their street culture -- where gang violence slowly made way for neighborhood crews that used dance to compete against each other.
Now, with those competitions being commercialized,
breaking means something different for the newer generation of b-boys and b-girls.
Miguel: Competitions for me with breaking is a huge asset.
I started competing because, the energy of the battle is like, amazing, plus it was money to win.
I wanted to provide for my mom, my family, and help them out. You know?
It's a way for me to just prove myself, and put myself out there, and get better.
I feel like I get better at competitions.
But there those who believe that mainstream breaking has left some traditions behind.
Chief 69: A lot of people don't have that original style no more. The original b-boys would go to parties more—they would do more party rocking.
They would interact more like on a personal level with the crowd, with the fly-girls.
The b-boys today, they just go to competitions.
They don't necessarily dance at parties.
Joseph: People are attracted to the acrobatic aspects of it, people are attracted to the flamboyance aspect of it.
But bottomline of it it's a dance and all that the gymnastics, the acrobatics, are all flavoring
to add on top of the core which is really dancing, which is rhythm and movement and self expression.
Breaking in its original form is more than just the dance.
It's a connection to your family, your friends, your neighborhood rivals—your community.
Chief 69: In hip hop culture it's very important to be connected to the community. Because we come from these communities.
If we can't even attempt to give back in some type of way, culturally, financially, economically, spiritually, philosophically --
I feel we fall short.
Joseph: A lot about hip hop dance and hip hop in general is getting people to notice you.
I think that's a personal thing for each individual person, but it's also a political statement.
All of that stuff is embedded in the dance.
Just to say, not only am I important as an individual, but community is important, and the concerns of my community are important,
and the perspective, the point of view of my community is important.

Preparing the blade for unloading - Iwona Blecharczyk Trucking Girl - Duration: 16:03.
presents
Preparing the blade for unloading
Ladies and gentlemen, today I'm gonna take you to the unloading place
I can't show you the moment of the unloading because it's forbidden to record it
but I'll show you how we prepare the trailer for unloading
First thing I need to do is to take all the cords off
I'll put my camera here so you can see me well
So we need to take the cors off
because when it's unloaded, I have to break down
and piece together quickly
I see that my camera isn't standing straight
As you can see, there are original lights on the first tunnel
but not on this one
so I have too add some with magnet
another cord...
so when I extend it, I have only fout cords to remove
There are two more single cords to be removed on the other side
but we're going further
because now we have to...
Now we have to remove the cord on the tail
It's loud in here
the cranes are working
Where should I put my camera so you could see me well?
Now I'll jump on the trailer...
My battery died somewhere in here
but I'm back
So here I have a kind of elastic
that pulls the cord
so when the blade sways
the cord can't hit it
so we put the cord everytime
not a cord, an elastic
when I do several things at the same time, I don't think what I'm saying
Now we have to remove the cord from here
(talking to my colleague)
I'm talking to the camera
The cord that I made myself as you know, is already a little bit used
It's not as pretty as it was when it was new
but it still works
the cord has been disentangled
I'm recordin that all
Now I need to remove it
so we'll point it
You'll record it for six more hours!
It will be a nice video!
I will publish it!
It was one nice cord!
You're gonna break the cable!
I have only the cords left
It was supposed to be done!
the cord is almost folded
And there are only few little things left to be done
What is left?
To record the guys
I need to...
I'm recording!
So record!
Ok, we have to go
I have to unfold the bareer, it was unfolded so it would be easier to enter
It was you who folded it so now come and unfold it!
It isn't even a whole anymore!
Whose fault is ir that you driving over the fences?
I don't!
Then the people wake up and have a surprise!
Where's my fence!
Iwona has taken it!
I haven't taken any fence
I've never taken any fence
The marker plate has been removed
The guys have done that
Now I just have the cord left
It's all folded
The marker plate on the front can stay... or not, I'll remove it too
Maybe later... or now...
So now it's just left for me to remove the marker plate
I could leave it but...
but it's better to take it off
because when the crane lifts the blade
the blade sways and can hit the metal part
So it won't fall down from here
So it would be all, the blade is ready to be unloaded
Now it just lef to pull the two studs in the front
one on the blade
two studs like here
and that's all
and then, put all together
So see you next time!
Thanks for watching!
And I'll go to the unloading place, but it's my colleague who goes first
And I'm going there like that!
and after unloading
Dakar!
Drive safe!

Marco Panzetti, about the Migration Media Award: "It's basically freedom to work". - Duration: 4:09.
I like to welcome onstage former Foreign Affairs Minister George Vella, a keen
observer of the Mediterranean and also the Middle East, I should say, who
will be presenting an award to Marco Panzetti, an Italian journalist who's
winning entry focused on the journey at sea while on
assignment with SOS Mediterranean and "The Aquarius", please.
I've always been interested in the subject. I think there are many
reasons. I'm from Italy that's one of the reasons as you all know Italy right now
is the main door the main entrance to Europe for people coming
and trying to reach Europe and it's actually right now the only country admitting
people that is rescued at sea. I'm normally I'm very critical of my
country about many things and I'm not saying that right now that
Italy's working spotless, but if it wasn't for Italy right now the Mediterranean
will be an even worse graveyard, so I think being Italian is part of the reasons.
and, I don't know, I've always been interested in you know the beauty of
multicultural environments. A life-changing experience, at least for me being out at
sea, on a ship , with the rescue team, I was not the rescuer but I was
documenting the situation and witnessing that seeing the situation
with your own eyes is definitely something that is life-changing.
You cannot, you don't go back to what you were before. You see these people coming
with nothing I mean literally they barely had clothes on them and see
people in these desperate conditions that are basically sent to die because
that's what was what's going on right now. These people are sent to death
they are putting them in an overloaded dinghies which are completely unfit for
navigation at sea so it's basically sending them to almost certain death,
and see them coming on board and see finally some hope in their look,
it's something that really changes you, but it's also happy in one way,
it's also sad on another point of view, because you also
know that probably what they are expecting for the future is not going to
happen, probably, or not, I mean it's going to be harder than they thought it would be.
For me as a freelancer this award and this prize that has been given will
definitely be key for the next month and will help me out in doing my job,
doing it properly, with proper funding and that is basically everything for a freelancer.
It's basically freedom to work, that's what it is.
I will keep working on my long-term project, it's more than two years now that I am working on
the subject of the migration crisis and I will keep doing that. The next project in line
is about asylum seekers in Italy, so I will try to testify and
witness what what it means to be an asylum seeker right now, what it means to
be waiting for almost three years to have an answer on your request,
it may then be denied and it's a sort of a limbo that I think it needs to be documented.

Well the context of that verse
is he was saying I have learned that when I'm full or when I'm hungry, when I
have everything, when I have nothing, in all those situations I can be content;

Career Change Success: The First 7 Steps - Duration: 12:33.
Hey everyone, it's Andy with this week's Tips for Work and Life.
We're going to talk about changing careers today, career changing success, the first
seven steps that I would take if I was going to make a career change.
Now for all of you out there who are watching this, I want to offer some words of encouragement.
I know you can do this.
I've done it three times, and if I could do it three times, you can do it.
The greatest news is you have the ability and it's never, ever in the history of the
world be easier to make a career change with all the resources that we have in this world
to help educate you and get you going in the right direction.
The problem is most people don't have a plan, which I'm going to give you today, the first
seven steps of that plan.
But before we do that, I want to just give you a moment of perspective and I want you
to tuck this away in the back of your mind as you watch this video, or any of my videos
for that matter.
If I wasn't brave enough 13 or so years ago to make a career change, and again two years
ago to make another change, you'd never be benefiting from this video or any video I've
ever created, or any training course, or anything I've ever done to help facilitate your career
and your life.
I want you think about as you're hesitating to make that change, all the people in this
world who would benefit from you doing so.
So whether you are an old pro like me, just wanting to make a drastic career change, or
whether you're a college student just looking for that first job, or anybody who wants a
job where they don't feel like they have the requisite experience, this video is for you.
I'm going to give you the first seven steps that I would take.
Let's roll.
Number one, you got to make sure that you want it.
It sounds silly, but there's a huge difference between a passing fancy and a burning desire.
Most people fail not because of their ability, but because they don't have a good plan in
place and they haven't really thought it through about whether or not that career or that change
is going to align to the things that make them happy.
So the first step that I would take is I would list out all of my requirements of the things
that I would need in place to be happy, everything, down to the lowest level.
Make a list.
It sounds simple, but very few people do it.
So number one, make a list, and if you are really ambitious and you really want to learn
how to do that effectively I have a three-part video series that you can watch.
It's called Five Steps to Career Success.
It's the first five steps that I would take in order to make sure that my list was in
order, my why was in order, and I was directed, so I'll put that in the description.
You can watch that later, but that's number one.
Number two, the step everybody forgets, virtually everybody forgets this.
This might even be step number one or zero.
What are you willing to sacrifice?
You have the ability to achieve your goals.
You have the ability to make this career change or get that job or whatever it might be.
The reason a lot of people fail is not only because they don't have a plan, but that they're
unwilling to give up certain things in their life, to put in the extra effort to compensate
for the areas they're deficient in or how they need to catch up, whatever it might be.
Think nights, think weekends, maybe compensation.
You might have to take a little pay cut if you want to make a change.
What are the things that you're willing to give up and what are the things that you're
not willing to give up, and get clear on that and be committed to sacrificing those things
that are going to prevent you from being successful in making this change.
That's number two.
Number three, you have to discover the capabilities that are important for success for that particular
position.
What do I mean by capabilities?
Think about ... An example I use a lot is for sales people.
When a sales person is about to sell a product, a thing, a service or whatever, knowing exactly
how to sell that particular product, that's a trade skill.
That's something that you learn with experience selling that particular product.
That's something that can usually be easily taught, but great sales people that can transcend
whatever product they're selling, whatever service they're selling, they have foundational
abilities like good leadership skills, good organizational skills, good communication
skills.
They're good listeners.
They know how to connect the dots for their customers or prospects to show them how their
products and services will benefit them.
They're good at psychology.
Those are foundational abilities that can be developed that make a great sales person
a great sales person.
If you want to be a chef, then you need to figure out what the great capabilities are
that make awesome chefs.
There's two ways to do that.
Well, there's many ways to do that, but there is two easy ways.
You could literally Google what qualities make a great chef and a whole bunch of blog
posts will come up and a whole bunch of books will come up.
Go ahead and do that.
Read them.
Learn.
See if those are things and qualities you think you already have.
The other thing is you can do a little research with individuals who are currently doing that
role or have done that role.
There's lots of ways, but you want to get these capabilities.
It's really important to get these capabilities, and we're going to use these in a later step
in the process.
That is a really, really big deal, that you understand what those qualities are.
Speaking of people, step number four is you've got to do a little bit of reconnaissance.
Talk to people who are currently doing that job, and I want to stress here for a second
those people that are actually currently doing that profession.
Why do I make such a big deal about that?
It's okay to talk to somebody who was a chef or who was a sales person, but human nature
is we tend to forget what it was like, what some of the struggles were, what it was like
not to know what we know, and the other thing their techniques or their interaction with
the world might be a little outdated.
You want to talk to people who are currently going through it.
It's fresh in their mind.
They know what they're dealing with.
It's front, it's center, they can share it with you.
You can start making a bigger list of things that you're going to have to evaluate and
consider to know whether you're going to want to make that change.
Very, very big deal.
It might sound exciting when you're thinking about making that change, but if you don't
have some realistic real time data you're not going to be successful.
Number five, still on the theme of people.
It's never been easier to get help out in the world and get educated on a career that
you want.
I call this one, number five, building a Franken-mentor.
Using myself as an example, when I became a trainer a few years ago I didn't know how
to work a camera.
I didn't really have a great platform.
I didn't know what it was like to build a membership site or a training course or a
number of other things that I had to learn.
I have seven different people that it takes to help me shoot this video.
I had to learn from many different people, who were fantastic experts at what it was
that they do that contributed to my ability to deliver this to you.
So Google them.
Find the books.
Find the blogs.
Follow people.
Figure out and align those capabilities with individuals who speak on that, write on that,
talk on those capabilities, and start to learn.
Over time you'll find that some of those experts are a little bit more effective at giving
advice than others.
Continue to follow them.
That's a way where you can start educating yourself.
Very big deal.
You can catch up on your free time outside of your current work hours.
Following your Franken-mentor.
Number six, you've got to anticipate the struggle and plan for it.
It's amazing, people want to envision success ... You hear a lot of people talk about, "Well,
just imagine yourself successful."
That's bunk.
You can't just imagine yourself into success.
The better way to imagine yourself towards success is envision the struggles you are
about to encounter, anticipate them by talking to the people, research the change you want
to make, and then put a plan together as to how you're going to overcome them and envision
yourself through the struggle.
How are you going to react when you encounter that obstacle?
If you are more prepared for that encounter when you hit it because you envisioned yourself
hitting it and you knew you were going to hit it, you're going to be more successful
in getting through that.
If you just envision yourself on the beach having your cocktails, it isn't going to work.
Now you probably have a dozen problems that you have to overcome.
All of us do.
There's a bunch we can think of.
There's some that will be unanticipated, but everybody has three problems.
You have a learning problem, you have a marketing problem, and you have a job interviewing problem
if your change is going to be to stay in the corporate world or go into a different profession
where you're going to have to interview for it, learning, marketing and interviewing.
The learning part ... Step number seven, you've got to execute your plan against this.
The learning part is something that I've already spoken about.
Build your Franken-mentor, get the books, follow the blogs, do the research, do your
reconnaissance, talk to the people, start getting educated, start becoming more and
more familiar.
That one is pretty straightforward, it just takes a little elbow grease.
The marketing aspect ... People always want to know, "What do I put on my resume, because
I don't have the requisite experience?"
Well, if you did step number three correctly where you identified those capabilities ... Remember
that example that I used about the sales person?
Psychology skills, leadership skills, organization skills, influential skills, communications
skills, and so on.
Those foundational traits ... The greatest employers in the world, they know that that's
what they need to be evaluating when they're going to hire a sales person.
So what you need to do is take whatever experience that you have ... If you're a college student,
we're talking internships, part time jobs, school projects, school classes, whatever
you have at your disposal.
If you're professional, take whatever experience you have in your life, make the list of capabilities,
and then go through your work history and start identifying the projects, the efforts,
the work that you did that helped you build skills that align to those capabilities, and
we want to put those in your career profile, in your highlights, in the bullets in your
professional experience on your resume.
If you really want to see how to lay that resume out, I have a video called Build Your
Ultimate Professional Resume.
It's got a resume template.
It's extremely popular.
I've got that in the description.
You can grab that as well, but that is the way to market yourself.
You can put it on the resume, you can put it in the cover letter, and you can put it
on your Linkedin profile, and you can talk about it in the responses that you give to
questions in the job interview.
Focus on the capabilities.
That is your key, because when you don't have the requisite work experience you've got to
focus on the capabilities.
Lets run over the seven again.
Number one, make your list.
You've got to make sure that you want it.
Number two, make sure you think about the sacrifices you're going to make.
Number three, make your list of capabilities.
Number four, do the reconnaissance and talk to people.
Number five, build your Franken-mentor.
Number six, anticipate the struggles.
List out the struggles you're going to have and put a plan together.
Step number seven, execute the plan, primarily going against your learning deficit, so you
want to collapse that, your marketing and your interviewing issues.
You want to focus on the capabilities, grab the experience you have.
I hope you enjoyed this.
