New Venom Footage Revealed at SDCC - Duration: 3:46.

San Diego Comic Con 2018 has given us some more details on what we can expect from Sony's

upcoming Venom movie.

Starring Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock, the film's press up until this point has been pretty

up and down.

The first teaser trailer didn't even feature a glimpse of the symbiote.

The second trailer did show Hardy off as Venom though, thankfully, and it's gotten more

fans on board to head to theatres to see the film when it's released.

New footage that was revealed at the panel showed off Venom in a full shot, and the character

looks straight out of the comics.

The clip depicted Eddie Brock exited a convenience store, and speaking to a woman who tells him

he looks like s***.

At home, Brock puts a disc in his DVD player and lies on the floor to meditate.

We see flashes of him running through the woods, and he hits his face on the couch.

Then he pounds back some pills.

Looking ill, he calls someone, telling them that he's feeling sick.

Next, we see him walking through an alley, and sees Venom in the reflection of a car

window right before being flung against a wall.

Carlton Drake, played by Riz Ahmed has a bit of speech, saying that human beings are disposable,

that man and symbiote combined is the future.

We see him experimenting on a man, and then experimenting on Eddie, which then moves on

to a shot of Eddie beating up men in his apartment with the help of Venom.

Then, there's a part where Venom tells Eddie that his previous life is over.

Eddie doesn't want to hurt people.

Venom emerges to talk with him face to face, and after Eddie's body is completely bent

and broken, Venom heals him.

We see Venom holding up a man, licking his face.

From there, a montage of various action scenes played, with Eddie starting to embrace his

abilities as Venom.

We see Venom's arms turn into giant axes as he takes out some foes.

We see Venom take on Drake's symbiote, and we also see Venom threaten to eat a man's

face off after said man bothers the woman from the convenience store we saw earlier.

Then we got that iconic face split in half image that's been making the rounds for

the film's marketing.

When that man who he just threatened asks "what the hell are you" and half of Eddie's

face turns into Venom's and they say "We are Venom".

Venom then eats the man's head.

Eddie re emerges and says goodnight to the woman.

What else did we learn about Venom from Comic Con today?

During an interview, Tom Hardy revealed that he took the role because of his son's love

for the character.

Director Ruben Fleischer told the press, concerning the movie's rating, "We'll have to see.

I mean, we're pushing the envelope.

And so, it remains to be seen, the movie's not rated at the present."

Many have speculated that it will be rated R. He also noted that the film will be quite

dark, saying "we want to do justice to the true nature of Venom."

He also said at the Sony panel that the film is for the fans, and that there are no heroes

in this movie.

From the looks of it, the film will be borrowing a lot from the 90's Todd McFarlane run with

the character, and embracing a lot of body horror elements.

Hardy noted that, "there's a tragic clown element, which I find funny and is harmonious

with some of the work that I like to do.

There's something funny about the circumstance of having a gift but it's a tragic figt.

It's a supewr power you don't really want, but at the same time, you love it.

It makes you feel special.

He's a reluctant hero and an anti-hero."

Venom has been confirmed to not be a part of the wider Marvel Cinematic Universe despite

the rumours that Sony will be bringing in Tom Holland's Spider-Man into the mix, which

director Ruben Fleischer pretty much denied at the panel.

On the flip side of that, the panel also implied that we'll be seeing more symbiotes in the

film.

There was a confirmation that Riot will be in the film, which will likely have ties to

the Life foundation, but there was no confirmation on Carnage.

Michelle Williams co-stars as Anne Weying, the district attorney and Eddie's girlfriend,

and Riz Ahmed plays Carlton Drake, the leader of the Life Foundation that is working on

the symbiote in the film.

Venom is set to be released in theatres on October 5th, 2018.

Cardi B and Offset are in the crosshairs of another lawsuit stemming from the guy who sued the rappers claiming their hired muscle beat the crap outta him.

The Mark Hotel -- site of where the beatdown happened -- filed new legal docs saying they want the lawsuit thrown out, but are also covering their asses in the event Giovanni Arnold wins the suit.

In docs, obtained by TMZ, the hotel's essentially saying if The Mark Hotel gets hit with a huge judgment, it wants the court to hold the rappers responsible for the damages.

TMZ broke the story.

Giovanni sued the rappers back in May following a verbal confrontation turned physical.

after Offset's alleged security pummeled Giovanni because he taunted them and told them, "Please beat me up.".

Leicester City have signed Liverpool goalkeeper Danny Ward for £12. Ward leaves Anfield after slipping to fourth choice following the arrival of Alisson for a record £66.

Ward, 25, who has made four appearances for Wales but only managed three for Liverpool, has signed a four-year contract and the Reds have included a 20% sell-on clause in the deal.

"I've come here to develop my all-round game and hopefully help deliver some more success," he said.

Wrexham will get a windfall from the transfer as a sell-on clause was part of the deal that took Ward - who spent the 2016-17 season on loan at Huddersfield - to Liverpool for £100,000 in January 2012.

He is Leicester's fourth signing of the summer after Ricardo Pereira, Jonny Evans and James Maddison.

Leicester manager Claude Puel said: "Danny will give us even more competition in the squad, which is crucial for us ahead of what will be another very competitive Premier League campaign.

Kristin Davis, 'Manhattan Madam': 5 Fast Facts To Know | Heavy.com

Kristen Davis, former "Manhattan Madam", was subpoenaed by Special Counsel Robert Mueller on Friday.

Davis worked for former Trump aide Roger Stone for around a decade.

She also worked with Andrew Miller, the man who ran her novelty campaign for Governor of New York in 2010 and who was subpoenaed by Mueller a month ago, as well.

At the time, Miller's lawyer, Paul Kamenar, had said that he intended to fight the subpoena on the grounds that Mueller's role as Special Counsel was unconstitutional.

Now, Davis is similarly attempting to "negotiate the scope of the subpoena", per TMZ.

To NBC News, Davis said, "It's very out-of-the blue for me, very upsetting.

For them to come to me for information on Russian collusion — I don't have anything on that.".

Davis is a  former hedge fund VP and an Ex-Manhattan Madam who's best known for supplying former Governor Eliot Spitzer with escorts.

Here's what you need to know.

She Graduated High School at 15 Years Old & Was the Valedictorian of Her Class.

According to her bio page, Davis graduated from high school by the age of 15.

She eventually went on to college at St.

Mary's College in San Francisco, though she took several years off in between in order to earn money.

By 18 years old, she was working in hedge funds, and by 24 years old she was "the controller of a multi-billion dollar fund.

" Her bio page states that she was a vice president of a hedge fund by 26, at which point she "realized she had hit the glass ceiling"; however, The New York Times was unable to identify the specific hedge fund that Davis worked at, prior to leaving to work at her escort agency.

Of her life story, Davis explained in a column for XO Jane that most people had no idea she came from a financial background.

Davis wrote, "I have worked full-time since the age of 15, and my first job was at a dry cleaner, pressing clothes.

I graduated high school two years early and because we didn't have much money, I opted to forgo college and went to work.

I pressed clothes for a year and then managed to land an office job at Archer Daniels Midland.

I became the firm's youngest inside sales representative dealing with bulk commodities off the Chicago Board of Trades.".

Davis continued, "My natural aptitude for numbers led me to a hedge fund where I started as an assistant.

I had started and stopped a few colleges but I rarely finished my classes because I could not afford to miss work and I needed to support myself.

At 20, I finally started college full-time at night and on weekends so I could continue working.

It took me six years to get my degree.".

She Ran for Governor in 2010 on a Libertarian Platform.

Davis ran for Governor in 2010, securing a line in the ballot under the Anti-Prohibition Party.

She ran on causes which included the legalization and taxation of marijuana, the legalization of gay marriage, and the decriminalization of prostitution.

Her campaign for Governor was where she actually met Roger Stone (the source of her subpoena), who was allegedly the one who proposed she run for governor of New York to begin with.

"Through the course of doing some media interviews," Davis wrote in XO Jane, "I met Roger Stone.

He is a well-known political consultant who has run four presidential campaigns including both Bush campaigns.

I asked him about lobbying for decriminalization of prostitution.

He proposed I run for governor of New York.

While I laughed at the idea because I'm actually mortified of speaking in public, he eventually talked me into it by convincing me I could advocate for some social issues I believe in.".

Ultimately, Davis received the fewest votes of the seven political contenders, garnering just over 20,000 votes which amounted to.

4% of the voters' count.

She Ran the World's Most Successful Escort Agency.

Known as the "Manhattan Madam", Davis wrote in her column for XO Jane, "'Manhattan Madam' is the salacious title given to me by the tabloid press when I was arrested in the wake of the scandal that brought down Eliot Spitzer.

She continued, "I ran that [escort] agency for five years. At its height I had a roster of 120 women with permanent locations in New York City, Philadelphia, Boston, and Washington DC.

I treated the girls with respect, never forced a woman to do anything and loved many of them as if they were sisters.

Some women came to me homeless, running from abusive partners, or on the verge of eviction.

I bailed them out of their bad situation and helped them put their life back together.".

"I thought the money from the industry was helping them," Davis wrote, "[But] in hindsight, I realize that the money might have helped them temporarily but it would often hurt them forever.

Eliot Spitzer Was Reportedly Black-Listed From Her Agency.

Spitzer's connection to Davis began when he was caught with Ashley Dupre, one of Davis's escorts in a specific group called the Emperor's Club VIP.

Spitzer was reportedly blacklisted from Davis's agency, then called Dream Girls, when he "racked up complaints from her girls", according to The New York Post.

"He was aggressive, trying to force them to do things," she said, via The Post.

"They felt he was too rough.

He was trying to pull your head toward him to make you do things uncovered.

You'd say, 'No, I have to put a condom on,' only he's not listening to you.

He's just steamrolling over you.".

Davis's admission that she supplied prostitutes to Spitzer was one of the primary contributing factors to his "downfall as one of the country's most prominent Democrats.

" Though Spitzer consistently maintained that these assertions were untrue, Davis said that she supplied him with prostitutes on a weekly basis for five years, starting in 2005.

She Spent Four Months in Rikers Island After Being Convicted of One Count of Promoting Prostitution.

After being arrested on counts of prostitution, Davis spent four months in Rikers Island after handing over all of her assets.

Of her time at Rikers, Davis wrote, "I spent two days in the "intake" area in a cell meant for 10 women, however, there were 25 of us piled in like sardines.

There was one toilet in the center of the room with no walls and it was full of rotten food and maggots and flies.

I was not allowed a phone call, given food or a shower or a real bathroom.

If you were able to get one of the officers' attention, they would threaten you with solitary for being disruptive.

My bail was set at $2 million dollars for a first time offender.".

Davis added that she was soon moved into solitary confinement, where she spent 23 hours a day in lockdown, the other hour a day of which was spent doing "nothing more then moving me outside to a cell in a small chain link fence box (think dog kennel) where I could see the daylight for one hour.

Davis was eventually sent to federal prison a second time, sentenced two just under two years of prison time after selling prescription pills to government informants.

After serving her second stint in prison, Davis announced that she was pregnant with her first child.

To The New York Daily News, Davis said, "It happened in the halfway house [after prison].

The dad and I are not together anymore and that's all I can say about that.".

Davis has since referenced Stone as her baby son Carter's 'godpapa' in an Instagram post.

James Gunn has been fired as director of the Guardians Of The Galaxy series after a series of old, controversial social media posts resurfaced online.

The posts touched on topics of rape and pedophilia, with some saying things like: "I'm doing a big Hollywood film adaptation of The Giving Tree with a happy ending – the tree grows back and gives the kid a b–w job.".

The posts, which have been deleted for some time, resurfaced due to his outspoken criticism of President Donald Trump, according to Fox News.

The Daily Caller dug up the social media posts, which were quickly shared by conservative personalities on Twitter, urging fans to confront Gunn at Comic-Con. Gunn had been expected to be at Sony's presentation Friday.

Insiders say Gunn is not expected to be part of the panel, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Walt Disney Studios chairman Alan Horn told The Hollywood Reporter that the company severed ties with Gunn after learning about the tweets.

Disney responded quickly to the tweets, stating: "The offensive attitudes and statements discovered on James' Twitter feed are indefensible and inconsistent with our studio's values, and we have severed our business relationship with him," said Horn in a statement.

Gunn has received a torrent of backlash across the web, with many fans demanding his immediate removal from the franchise, and others calling for a boycott of the films.

"So is everyone gonna boycott future Guardians movies because James Gunn making gross pedophilr [sic]/rape jokes things on Twitter?," asked one fan.

"And then boycott those actors who continue to act in movies with him? And all of Marvel for continuing to hire him?".

Gunn shared two tweets in 2009 joking about sexual assault towards women. "The best thing about being raped is when you're done being raped and it's like 'whew this feels great, not being raped!'", he tweeted in February, 2009.

He also tweeted his curiosity on "which Disneyland character would be the worst to get raped by.".

Other tweets involved pro-pedophilia comments, with one stating: "I like it when little boys touch me in my silly place.

Shhh!" and another that read: "The Expendables was so manly I f–ked the s–t out of the little p—y boy next to me! The boys ARE back in town!".

On a Twitter thread, Gunn offered an explanation for the old tweets, claiming that he was no longer the person that posted the offensive tweets so many years ago.

"Many people who have followed my career know when I started, I viewed myself as a provocateur, making movies and telling jokes that were outrageous and taboo.

As I have discussed publicly many times, as I've developed as a person, so has my work and my humor," he posted on Twitter.

He added: "It's not to say I'm better, but I am very, very different than I was a few years ago; today I try to root my work in love and connection and less in anger.

My days saying something just because it's shocking and trying to get a reaction are over.".

Kristin Davis, the Manhattan Madam who went to prison and was connected to former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer, is being subpoenaed in the Robert Mueller investigation.

TMZ has learned.

Davis worked for former Trump aide Roger Stone for a decade, and had numerous interactions with Stone and Andrew Miller -- who ran Davis' campaign for Governor and who was subpoenaed by Mueller a month ago.

Sources familiar with the matter tell us, Davis' lawyer is negotiating the scope of the subpoena with Mueller's team.

As you know, Stone was referenced in the indictments last week of 12 Russians who allegedly meddled in the 2016 election.
