Youtube daily report Jan 13 2017

I'll figure it out somehow. Trust me.

(Episode 30)

Ignore the jerks who don't know who you really are.

Ignore them completely.

Because that is who you really are.

You're right.

It's stupid to get hurt by what strangers

say or think about me.

I did nothing wrong. Stare all you want.

I even fight with the chairman.

I should walk around thinking like that, right?

Come with me. I'll treat you to dinner.

Did you just finish work?

How come you're together?

That's right. You work at LK now.

He came over for dinner.

You still haven't eaten?

Should I make you something?

I'll be practicing for my new menu item development.

And I'm her taster.

You must be tired. Go home first.

Okay, I'm exhausted. I'll see you next time.

Jeongu would be a good match for her.

I wonder if he's saved up any money.

Are you making the new dish you're proposing?

You said you'd cook for me

but I guess you really needed a taster.

My cooking is my only weapon

to fight against the chairman.

We're having a public tasting soon.

I'm going to do well.

If I improve upon the recipe,

even the chairman can't kick out the person

who won the competition.

You're cool.

You can't fall for me already.

You'll really fall for me once you taste it.

Hello, CEO.

Hello.

You must be busy.

We're also busy figuring out the state of the business.

I thought the Dream Gold research team

was supposed to analyze each department,

but it seems like you spend

most of your time meeting people.

I like talking to people on the ground level.

The topic lately has been Hajin.

Maybe it's because Madam Seo knows her personally.

This seems to concern her.

Dream Gold seems to be taking an interest as well.

They are wary of how business owners act

in Korean companies anyway.

You talk a lot.

It isn't easy for most people to talk

so freely and easily

with someone so much higher in rank.

It usually means you are after something

or hiding something.

Which is it?

It's neither.

It's just in my nature. And it's because I'm in sales.

Being social is a good attribute.

Although it isn't a good attribute for everyone.

Go ahead. I'm going up.

He's simple but tough.

Hi, Yeji.

I need you to get involved.

Let's help Hajin this one time.

Am I really returning to headquarters?

Of course. You can go back to how you've been.

You've suffered enough.

See?

The chairman called you back as soon as you matured.

Is there a department that you'd like to join?

The planning department.

A department I want to join?

The sales management department.

I want to be on the team that manages franchises.

Sales management?

You're so funny. Why would you go there?

Do you really want to go there?

Are you trying to get revenge for the past?

What did they do to me that I'd take revenge?

They may take revenge on me, if anything.

I want to manage the franchise. That's perfect for me.

Taeyun.

What's perfect for you is to go to the

planning department and become the chief director.

Just hearing about it gives me a headache.

Father, you said I need on-site experience.

Send me there.

You suddenly grew up so much.

Okay. Go there and see what you can do.

Chairman!

You've lost your mind.

Are you insane? Are you?

Why did you kick away the opportunity? I set it all up.

The sales management department is perfect for me.

What? Stop talking nonsense.

Why is a young girl like that

going into the chairman's office?

She clearly does not work here.

She's cool.

Cool? Whatever.

Girls like that couldn't even stand in front of me

when I was her age.

Hold on.

Why did he call her in? What are they saying?

It's nice to meet you.

- Please, have a seat. / - Thank you.

Thank you for setting up the meeting with

Minister Choi last time.

I only did my job.

I heard that you're here as Dream Gold's agent.

Let me know if I can be of help.

It's annoying because our CEO is so tough, isn't it?

CEO Cha is always helpful.

But I came about something else today.

- What could that be? / - Lee Hajin.

We have high expectations for the franchise business

that CEO Cha is pursuing,

since we expect it to be very profitable.

I believe it began

with the new recipe development competition.

- Is that so? / - Yes, Chairman Cha.

I'm sure you'd never do that,

but I heard you were thinking of kicking

out the winner, Lee Hajin.

- I'm asking just in case. / - I'm thinking about it.

Pardon?

I plan to kick her out...

But it seems like you're saying Dream Gold...

Will not invest in our company if we kick her out.

Am I right?

- What nonsense is this? / - What?

Hey! Get Cha Doyun in here!

Hey, what's going on here?

Why is Dream Gold getting involved?

This is something Doyun's been working hard on.

What if they refuse to invest?

Why must Doyun fight with father because her?

The worse their relationship gets, the better it is for us.

Sure. They've been getting along too well lately.

It's about time.

Can't you be a better person?

- Should I get involved? / - What?

Why would you get involved?

Doyun, be careful. Father is about to explode.

Hello, Madam Seo. I didn't know you were here.

Hello, CEO.

Did you ask Madam Seo?

To say Dream Gold won't invest

if I kick out Lee Hajin?

Chairman!

Dream Gold's investment is

the most important project for our group.

I'd never use something like that

to negotiate with them.

I'm glad you haven't lost your mind completely.

- Did you hear that? / - Chairman.

You seem to have misunderstood me.

Doyun is the one desperate for the investment, not me.

Chairman.

You must want to use the investment to

try and control our group.

One investment like that is more than enough.

Forget it!

He'd rather give up the investment?

Does Chairman Cha hate Hajin that much?

He's out of his mind right now.

I knew he was reckless but this is ridiculous.

He thinks he's in total control of the company,

since he got all of his directors in.

But I didn't know he'd be this reckless.

What will you do?

If they refuse the investment, it's our loss.

Let's back down.

We brought Hajin here

to split up Chairman Kim and Cha Doyun,

not to cause problems with Chairman Cha.

What about Hajin?

Our plan takes top priority.

What if we really don't get the investment?

What?

What's the big deal about Hajin that

they're going so far?

Who knows?

What's wrong with the chairman and

why is Dream Gold getting involved?

Why does that troublemaker have to be in our team?

What if we really don't get the investment?

Jeongu.

Why did you want to see me?

Do you know what happened with

Dream Gold's investment matter?

They aren't canceling the investment, are they?

I'm an entry-level analyst. I don't know anything.

But why?

I heard they want to cancel the investment

because of me.

They wouldn't cancel such a large investment

just because of you.

Don't worry about it.

Please talk to Madam Seo.

I have nothing to do with the investment.

I really don't want Doyun... I mean,

I don't want the company to get hurt because of me.

Okay. I'll talk to her.

- You're busy. / - I am.

What do you want to order?

I already ate.

Then please leave, okay?

Your sister used to make me coffee at times like this.

You always make it for yourself even if I don't.

I should come again when your sister is here.

Why are you hanging around here?

Granny, you're finally here.

I thought you never come by anymore.

I hear you come and loiter here

every day in my place.

Are you very busy? Do you need help?

Yes, mom. The dishes are piled up.

- Okay. / - Hey!

How could a daughter make a frail granny

who may faint at any moment work in the kitchen?

Why do you treat me like I'm on my death bed?

You doing that is more annoying!

- Mom, the dishes. / - Okay, okay.

What do you mean okay?

I'll do those dishes.

- Why would you do that? / - Forget it.

What if you break all the plates?

I've been living alone for over 10 years.

I'm an expert in the kitchen.

I guess he likes to show loyalty.

What if he demands pay?

He wouldn't.

Hey, has Hajin said anything to you recently?

Is everything okay at work?

She didn't say much. Why?

I was just curious. I keep having strange dreams.

Okay.

Lee Hajin.

Come with me.

Excuse me? Where?

Someone wants to see you.

Is she Lee Hajin?

Yes, she is.

I thought you'd be a supermodel or something.

- Who are you? / - Whatever.

- Hey, lady. / - My name is Lee Hajin.

You don't know who I am, do you?

I've been too nice lately.

Everyone thinks I'm a pushover.

He's the chairman's son.

- The chairman's son? / - Yes.

- Whatever. You leave. / - Sorry?

Yes.

Let me give you a warning.

My mom making bad blood between

my brother and father is more than enough.

So don't hang around Doyun hoping for some scraps.

And go home. Okay?

- That's a bit harsh. / - No, it isn't.

I've become very nice lately, so it isn't harsh at all.

I did nothing to hear something like that from you.

What?

- You're pretty tough. / - I'll go now.

Don't you hear me?

I'm getting angry now.

If you cause trouble between father and brother again,

I'll put an end to you myself!

Dream Gold said they'd cancel the investment?

Father said that himself?

That's something Doyun is working very hard on.

So? What could Doyun do?

The chairman says he doesn't want another investor

who tries to control how he runs the company.

Your family must have stressed him pretty badly.

Look, I understand you're enjoying this

but don't go too far.

What? Sure. Sorry.

What did Doyun say?

All he has to do is kick Hajin out.

I don't know why he keeps fighting back.

He's so stubborn.

We have to kick her out. You made it happen.

What did I do?

Doyun, come with me.

What is it?

Can't we talk outside?

No.

What's going on?

- What? / - Taeyun's mom was here.

She said the chairman found out

that Hajin is working at LK.

Yes, he did.

How did things blow up like this?

It's obvious no good will come by you

being associated with her. What's wrong with you?

Hajin got the job fairly.

I don't care.

Don't fight the chairman.

If he says he'll kick her out,

just agree and stay out of it.

If you get involved,

people will question whether there's something

between you and Hajin.

It isn't like that.

Who cares if it isn't?

Thank goodness Minhui is backing you up.

I'm so afraid her mother will find out.

Remember how she yelled at her daughter?

Imagine if she finds out you have an even bigger flaw.

Lee Hajin.

You cheated in the competition?

Sorry? Cheated?

You used a sauce that is different from the recipe.

How dare you sit there, so shamelessly?

What are you...

- You need to put in this much. / - What are you doing?

Oh, my gosh.

I was only helping.

With this much herb,

the scent will be too strong to use the sauce!

Really? My bad. Sorry.

I did not cheat.

I did not use a sauce different from the recipe.

I made the base sauce at home, so it doesn't matter.

That's what you think.

You are so smart.

You're saying she used a different recipe

during the competition?

Where did you find that out?

It's unclear but we can make an issue of it if we want.

With that, we can take away the first franchise store

and even sue her for hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Father is going to sue her as well?

He's determined.

You should've just kicked her out when he told you to.

Why did you upset him?

Tell Mr. Nam to come in right now.

Why are you calling him?

Doyun, let's just live as father tells us to.

That's much easier.

Get out.

Do you think I have nothing else to do?

The company plans to sue for breach of contract,

so be prepared.

How did I get someone like you to work for me?

Yes. He plans to take away the first store

and also go to court.

Find out the cause.

He must have found something,

if he plans to go to court.

Yes.

CEO.

I heard you may not get a large investment

because of me.

- If it's for me, don't... / - Who do you think you are?

Who are you that

I'd give up the project I worked the hardest on?

Our relationship ended 8 years ago.

Also, we ended it again recently.

I would've done the same for anyone,

it's not just you.

Get over yourself.

Doyun, what is it? You never call first.

I'm sorry.

What is it that you called?

Could you come to the office tomorrow?

- The office? / - Yes.

Do you need to talk about something?

I'll tell you tomorrow.

Okay. Sure, I can stop by.

- I'll see you tomorrow. / - Okay.

Was that Doyun?

He asked me to come by his office tomorrow.

That kid...

I heard he's been getting along with Minhui lately.

Maybe he wants to act like a real son-in-law now.

I don't know.

Yes, mother? Did you want to talk about something?

Yes.

It's about Hajin.

Yes?

According to Taeyun,

they plan to sue her. You should stop them.

Are you worried about that?

They already have a tough life.

Why does he want to sue and

take what little they have?

I know Doyun's father is doing it because

he has a inferiority complex,

but it isn't right. He'll pay the price later on.

If Hajin had left on her own,

he wouldn't have gone that far.

Right?

I should see her myself.

You?

I'll have to convince Hajin to leave on her own.

If she fights back, her family will be ruined.

Mother.

I'll talk to her.

- You will? / - Yes.

If Doyun finds out, he may get mad at you.

True. If I get involved,

it may cause more problems.

- Are you going to work today too? / - Yes.

Is it tiring?

Why are you losing more weight than

when you worked at the store?

It is tiring.

I was used to the store but office work is new to me.

Why are you so devoted to that stupid company?

There you go again. I'm going.

She's losing weight by the day. I'm so upset.

(CEO Baek Minhui)

Hello?

May I see you for a moment?

Others are busy because of you,

but you seem to have time to kill.

Sorry?

Dream Gold, the chairman and my husband...

They're all busy because of your termination matter.

I'm sorry, madam.

I like being addressed like that.

I prefer that over CEO.

How long will you cling on?

Many people are in a bad spot because of you.

You know that, right?

I did nothing wrong toward the chairman.

Even if there was bad blood with our parents,

I heard it was an accident.

I can't quit the job that I worked hard to gain

just because of that.

So...

Are you saying you refuse to leave?

That's right.

I'm glad.

Sorry?

You can't just leave.

Even if you get dragged out, you should hang on

as much as you can.

Although I don't know what my father-in-law will do.

Okay then. Good luck.

I heard your new menu item is very marketable.

I tasted it too.

I agree. It was new.

So have hope and resist for as long as you can.

Madam.

- What? / - Did you never eat the foods...

I delivered to your shop?

What do you mean?

The foods I brought to your fashion store.

You offered me a business abroad

because of those foods.

I did.

Did you never eat any of the food...

I had brought you?

I made you that offer because I did eat it.

If you had, you would've known.

The new menu item was the same recipe

as the foods I brought you.

If you never tasted them...

Why did you offer me that business?

I don't know. I must've been mistaken.

Look.

Sign it, Lee Hajin.

Sign it!

Could it be her?

Is Doyun's wife

the woman who tried so hard to get rid of us?

No, that makes no sense.

That was before Doyun and I even met.

I remembered who she was.

It was definitely her, $50,000.

The woman who paid me to get rid of you.

Where did you see her?

It was the woman in your cell phone.

My cell phone? When? What did you see?

It was a few days ago

when you were looking at your phone

and nagging me to place an order.

When? When did I...

My goodness.

Is it her? Baek Minhui?

Yes, that's her. Is her name Baek Minhui?

If she's online, she must be famous.

It was Doyun's wife?

The chairman wants to see you.

He says to come right away.

This is how we'll handle Lee Hajin.

Take away the first store and sue her.

You do it yourself.

If we take this to court, we will lose.

We had no rules about ingredients for the sauce.

It's okay if we lose.

We won't lose anything anyway.

Sure. Only the victim will bleed out.

I must really be your child...

Seeing how you're doing the same thing I did to her.

What?

This is an unfair and disgusting abuse of power.

So I can't do it.

If you can't, what will you do?

What will you do, punk?

Tell me. Why are you so proud?

Why did you hide her from me if you

didn't care for her?

You're right. So I won't hide her any longer.

- What? / - I'll tell everyone.

Why you... What stupid thing are you planning now?

- My mother-in-law. / - What?

My mother-in-law is on her way here now.

What? Why?

Why is she coming here?

I want to show her that Hajin and I

have nothing to hide.

That's why I'll tell her first before anyone else.

What? What?

You're going to tell your mother-in-law

about you and Hajin?

Are you threatening me?

Are you saying you'll kill us both?

You said the right thing to do is to tell everyone,

so that's what I plan to do.

(First Love Again)

It's improper to kick me out of the company like this.

Even the chairman can't violate the law to fire me.

You punk. Your mother-in-law is here now.

I'll just prove to her that there's

nothing going on between us.

Whatever happens to me,

it is for me to fight and resolve.

I don't want to hear that you got

involved in my business.

He risked his position as CEO? That's absurd.

He wouldn't step down.

You know, that $50,000 woman...

- The one who tried to kick you out. / - Baek Minhui?

- Hello. / - Why did you ask me to come here?

- It's about your wife. / - What?

Your wife Baek Minhui, that you married.

- Hajin? / - Hello, madam.

May I have a moment of your time?

Fake Food vs Real Food – A Question of Life or Death - Duration: 9:27.

Fake Food vs. Real Food A Question of Life or Death.

by: Julian Rose.

As the New Year dawns, so does our thinking process have an opportunity to do likewise.

And why not make it a first call to get your priorities sorted out about your 2017 eating

habits? After all, it is the quality of the fuel that you put in the tank that ensures

how well your engine runs.

Although they might look nice, the great majority of supermarket foods are just a brilliant

con trick. And Im telling you this, sensing that the majority reading this article are

most likely still doing most of their food shopping in a supermarket or superstore.

Alright, so put on your safety belt, because Im going to take you on a rapid ride down

the isles of that superstore just down the road from you.

First impression: Wow, so much choice! Wrong, the product range you are looking at is made

up of many slight variations of one food, and that one food has a number of different

manufacturers. So you go to get a litre or two of milk; Oh my! Six different mega dairies

have their goods on display, all churning out the same white stuff (called milk), and

they all look identical. Choice? Oh yes, you can have skimmed, reduced low-fat, or whole;

all of which are pasteurised and homogenized. And, of course, theres ultra heat-treated

(UHT). But theres no milk available. I think you get my drift: each of those products

is a denatured distortion of real milk. Real Milk is illegal in these places

unless youre in France. Raw unpasteurised milk, with nothing added or taken out: not

allowed.

Stick with me on dairy, because in many ways its symbolic of all the rest of the junk

in this superstore. Did you know that homogenized milk involves forcing the

cream layer (which normally floats on the top) to morph into the rest of the milk? Yes,

thats what happens; and its a particularly dodgy business because this forcing is done

under very high pressures, where the milk is blasted through a metal plate perforated

with many small holes, thereby forcing the cream into the milk and the milk into the

cream, so you cant see the difference. What comes out the other end resembles another

food and by the time its also been heat-treated (pasteurised), squirted into

a plastic bottle and stuck on the supermarket shelf for a few days, it is another food.

Food? No sorry, shouldnt really use that term.

According to the dairy industry, the end result is supposed to be more attractive. Sure,

its beautiful isnt it! Maybe, to the eyes of the advertisers. But what this homogenized

and pasteurised milk is doing in our gut is another thing altogether. Its essentially

indigestible. So lets get serious: a report by a leading scientist/doctor in the UK some

thirty years ago, exposed the fact that homogenized milk causes blockages in the arteries of the

heart, leading to potential cardiac arrest. His report mysteriously disappeared soon after

it was released and the author was quickly sidelined. Ever heard any stories like this

before?

OK, so lets jump back on our trolley and head for the ready prepared meat department.

Wow, now heres a great line up of tempting looking cuts; special ham, spicy sausages,

acclaimed bacons, tender chicken nuggets and so forth. Now dont tell me theres no

choice here!

Sorry, its all coming from two or three (at the most) huge factory farms. Probably

in another Country or some place in your own homeland that youd least expect. Places

it would make you sick to set foot in. Places where 15,000 hens cram into one vast neon

lit shed. Usually in cages of eight to ten birds each. Hens fed antibiotic laced

genetically modified soya and maize and a bunch of other stuff like manioc from Thailand

and rice husks from China; what ever is cheap and available and capable of fattening a chicken

in just ten weeks. Ten weeks? Yes, thats how long it takes to get them up to slaughter

weight. Just keep the lights on and keep stuffing them and thats the full life-span of

a typical supermarket chicken. The antibiotics are fed prophylactically so as to keep the

hens from dying of diseases which are rife in this airless, sunlight-less, neon lit natural

environment Egg production just the same horror story. Life span even shorter. Beaks

clipped too.

Never see grass, let alone the light of day.

Lord, give me a break! What about the pork and ham cuts on display? Yes, exactly the

same regime.

Hundreds, more often thousands, of pigs in the same style vast shed. Also fed GM maize

and soya. Also given routine antibiotics. Also deprived of sleep and relentlessly fattened.

Their life span of the fatteners is at best three to four months and the sows, maybe a

year.

By way of contrast: sows on my farm, running free range on pasture, live for at least five

years. Free range chickens on grass also around five to six years.

Take a look at those lovely cling film covered trays in which these remains are displayed,

especially the ham. How many chemical stabilizers, synthetic preservatives and colouring agents?

But listen, it cant all be that bad can it? I mean, these stores have quality controls

in place and very strict hygiene arrangements. Sorry, these are just sops to make you feel

that the food you are buying is safe. The reality is that what you are eating unless

it is certified as organic (and most supermarket organic pushes the term to its limit of

credibility) then you are eating the remnants of an animal that has just been through a

concentration camp. Put that in your trolley? Support animal genocide?

Listen, Im feeling a bit queasy, not sure I want to buy anything here after all.. maybe

just some loo roles and household detergents. Yes, of course, but the paper (unless you

purchase recycled) for your loo roles is coming from strip-forest logging exercises, is heavily

processed and then treated with chemicals and synthetic perfumes to give you

a blissful toilet experience everyday! The household detergents? Do I need to tell

you? Chemical paradise designed to kill anything that moves including you!

Lets get out of here. Please dont tell me any more. Sure, good decision but just

in case youre thinking of grabbing the odd veg for tonights dinner. Err, well,

please understand that its almost certainly been sprayed ten to twelve times during its

growing period with chemicals that destroy bees and sicken birds so it might be better

to give them a miss too, right?

Scene shifts to the supermarket car park. Orwellian looking arena, where strangely abstracted

looking people wheel their cart loads of deadly packaged produce towards shiny waiting vehicles.

Is there any choice? asks the by now pale-faced, shell-shocked consumer.

Yes, its called real food. I suggest you grow it yourself. But I suppose youre

not willing to countenance that idea. Then you must look around for the farms that do.

Go to the farmers market.

Maybe a natural foods store. Places where a human being serves you, someone who knows

something about the foods on sale in their shop and where they are grown and raised.

Scale down your expectations. Look for that which is local, fresh and nourishing. Think

human scale, not cyborgian mega-scale. Drop the super and re-find the market.

The market place. The real people with real smiles and earth worn fingers. Come to your

senses. Realize that you have been duped, brow beaten and robbed maybe for years.

Give your body, mind and spirit the chance to heal. Give your money to people who deserve

it; people who work with, rather than against, nature. Turn over a new leaf. And if a small

bug falls off it, laugh out loud and give praise for the diversity of the living environment.

Rather than the sterility of a death cult dressed-up as convenience.

Independent counsel considering bribery and perjury charges for Samsung heir - Duration: 2:40.

Our starting point today is the ongoing investigation into the political scandal that's turning

the nation inside out.

After a painstaking interrogation session, the independent counsel says it could decide

to issue an arrest warrant for Samsung's heir apparent.

Investigators also turn their focus to a cultural blacklist allegedly created at the highest

levels of government.

Hwang Hojun has our top story.

Samsung Electronics' heir apparent Lee Jae-yong has returned home after being interrogated

as a suspect for about 22 hours.

The independent counsel's spokesperson Lee Kyu-chul said Friday the team is considering

charging the conglomerate's Vice Chairman and de facto leader with bribery and perjury.

While the spokesperson didn't give details, he did acknowledge that some parts of Lee

Jae-yong's statements contradicted those previously given by Jang Choong-gi and Choi Ji-sung,

who are high-level executives at the tech giant's control tower, the Future Strategy

Office.

The team's spokesperson stressed, however, there's no guarantee the team will seek to

have Lee arrested.

"We won't be able to decide whether to seek an arrest warrant of Vice Chairman Lee Jae-yong

by today.

We expect to make that decision tomorrow or the day after, at the latest."

Samsung is alleged to have given huge donations to entities controlled by Choi Soon-sil, the

woman at the heart of the scandal,... in return for political favors, such as political support

for the controversial merger of two affiliates, Samsung C&T and Cheil Industries,... a move

seen to have secured Lee Jae-yong's succession as head of the tech giant.

Samsung has repeatedly denied accusations that it lobbied Choi to help push through

the merger, claiming instead that it was the victim of blackmail and coercion by the presidential

office.

With the Vice Chairman's questioning over for now, the team is turning its focus to

former top officials' alleged blacklisting of cultural figures deemed critical of the

government... and the alleged unfair admission of Choi's daughter, Chung Yoo-ra, to an elite

university.

Three high-level officials related to the blacklist appeared for questioning on Friday

as did Professor Kim Kyoung-sook of Ewha University, who is suspected of ordering undue favorable

treatment for Chung Yoo-ra. Chung herself remains in Denmark in the custody

of local authorities who arrested her for being in the country illegally.

Korea has officially requested to have her extradited.

"Meanwhile, the counsel has confirmed that Danish prosecutors will... by next weekend...

complete their own investigation into Chung Yoo-ra, based on Korea's extradition request.

Chung's passport was canceled as of Tuesday, as the team works to get her back to Korea

for questioning as soon as possible."

World's Most DANGEROUS Predators! - Duration: 11:44.

Here are the most fearsome predators from all around the animal kingdom!

9 - Brazilian Wandering Spider

As one of the most aggressive and poisonous spiders on the planet, these guys are bad

news for their prey.

In fact, they were crowned the most venomous spiders in the world by The Guinness Book

of World Records.

Aside from populating Brazil, they're found across South America, often "Wandering"

the floor of the jungle.

They prefer to eat large insects such as crickets as well as mice and lizards.

Unlike other spiders who build webs to trap their food, these suckers wander the jungle

floor at night where they stalk and ambush their prey.

So you can easily see where they get their name.

Aside from being skilled hunters, they can fend off predators themselves.

When threatened, they quickly shift to self-defense mode, striking an intimidating pose, that

lets their attackers know they mean business.

By raising their front two legs which exposes their deadly fangs, would be predators know

they're probably better off looking for another source of food.

8 - Crocodile

There are several different Crocodile species and they're pretty much all dangerous as

h*ll.

Saltwater crocs are arguably the most dangerous.

Growing anywhere between 17 and 23 feet long and easily topping 1,000 pounds, they're

basically left over dinosaurs who are some of the most opportunistic predators on the

planet.

In other words, if you're edible and near a Saltwater Croc, watch out, because you might

be its next meal.

Large animals such as water buffalo, wild boars, sharks, snakes, monkeys and don't

forget people, are frequent targets.

They use their quick speed, enormous size, and powerful jaws to ambush their prey, catching

it off guard and dragging it underwater to drown before they dig in.

As the most aggressive of the species, they're usually considered to be a serious threat

to humans who cross their paths

Then you have Nile Crocodiles, which are also bad news for creatures in the wild.

They vary in size but typically range between 16 and 20 feet long and reach massive weights

of more than 1,500 pounds.

Like their saltwater cousins, they eat whatever they feel like.

Since they tend to live closer to human populations in Africa, people are frequently killed by

these reptilian beasts...on average about 200 each year.

Simply put, animals in the wild would be foolish to trifle with a crocodile.

7 - Great White Shark

The object of many of our nightmares after seeing Jaws, Great White sharks have earned

a fearsome reputation for a reason.

On average they grow anywhere between 13 and 16 feet long, sometime reaching lengths of

20 feet while weighing over 1,500 pounds, easily.

As aggressive hunters they eat nearly everything they can get their jaws on.

Fish, squids, dolphins, seals, otters, sea birds, small whales...you name it and it's

probably on the menu.

Actually, sharks will eat pretty much anything it can chew and swallow, and it doesn't

have to be actually edible.

Great Whites, who sport morbid nicknames such as "White Death", use their speed and

powerful jaws to capture their food.

While swimming deep below the surface, they search for food that swims near the surface...keeping

a low profile to for the element of surprise so to speak, to avoid detection.

As soon as they see something that piques their interest, they strike.

And with a massive burst of speed they ambush the unlucky creature, whatever it might be,

and crush it with their thousands of teeth.

Few sea creatures stand a chance when a Great White puts them in their cross hairs.

While there are numerous counts of recorded attacks against people, those attacks are

rarely fatal since Sharks don't ever actually want to eat us.

We're far too boney for their taste.

They really prefer Seafood.

6 - Hyena

Hyenas played a key antagonist role in the Lion King for a reason.

Many of their African safari peers regard them as formidable opponents in a world where

it's eat, or be eaten.

Granted, they do do their share of scavenging, but by many estimates, 75 percent of their

food comes from their own kills and they're known to be extremely efficient hunters.

For example, they're incredibly fast; they can reach speeds of close to 40 miles per

hour.

Once they catch up to their prey they'll bite off huge chunks of flesh to kill them.

Then it's time to chow down.

When hunting in teams, they're virtually unstoppable.

Larger mammals such as wildebeests and antelopes are frequent targets for packs of hungry hyenas.

And God help you if you try to approach a scavenging Hyena.

While they prefer to take what they want and get out of dodge, they will defend themselves

if crossed.

They'll viciously fend off just about any animal that tries to steal meat from them,

including lions, assuming hyenas have numbers on their side.

They'll even attack humans if the opportunity presents itself.

Spotted Hyenas have been known as potential man eaters, as archeologists have found human

remains in fossilized hyenas.

In 1962 for example, two large spotted hyenas killed close to 30 people before a group of

villagers avenged their deaths by shooting the hyenas.

With that in mind, attacks in modern time are actually rather rare.

So when you take into consideration their speed, efficient biting, and fiercely territorial

behavior, hyenas are some of the most skilled predators in all of Africa.

5 - Dragonfly

You might not know it to look at them, but dragonflies are one of the world's most

prolific hunters.

Based on Research done at Harvard University, dragonflies capture and kill their prey at

a success rate of 95%.

According to the study, this impressive stat is thanks to their highly advanced brains.

They're able to predict where their prey is going to fly and quickly decided the appropriate

muscles to use to catch it.

They tend to prefer smaller insects like bees, flies and moths.

They also have super advanced vision, as they're able to detect black spots in the sky.

Their wings have strong muscles that propel them toward their food, and it's because

of these strong wings that dragonflies are able to outmaneuver their prey in order to

devour them.

So in addition to their pesky stings that some people have had the unfortunate opportunity

to experience, they also strike fear in the hearts of small insects, who stand virtually

no chance of survival should a dragonfly choose to attack them.

4 - Komodo Dragon

The komodo dragon's name contains the word dragon, so you know they have to be pretty

fierce.

Using their sense of smell and impressive speed, they can quickly ambush prey and bit

their underside.

Komodo dragons are the largest lizards.

They can reach up to 10 feet in length and weigh up to 200 pounds!

They eat a wide range of creatures such as monkeys, goats, pigs, and even large mammals

such as buffalo.

Komodo dragons have a forked tongue, much like a snake.

It uses its tongue to detect a prey by smell!

The craziest part is that they can locate prey that's as far as 4 miles away by using

their sensitive tongues.

When they finally get to their prey, instead of using its relatively powerful jaws, they

use a deadly venom to kill their prey.

But it takes a while.

After the initial bite, these dragons will sit around and wait for their prey to die

a slow and painful death.

They have even been known to eat carcasses of dead animals.

They can eat prey that weigh up to 80% of their own weight.

Unlike other animals, they will eat bones and hooves.

And oh yeah, they also like to eat each other, as roughly 10% of their diet are other komodo

dragons.

Ugggghhhh.

3 - The Crowned Eagle

By no means is the crowned eagle the largest bird on earth, but it's definitely one of

the most powerful.

These amazing birds are able to swoop out of the sky and kill animals way bigger than

themselves.

They don't even grow up to three feet long but they can still kill animals that weigh

close to 80 pounds.

Crowned Eagles make their home in African rainforests and one of their favorite meals

is monkey meat.

And if you know anything about monkeys, you know they're tough to hunt.

They're quick, alert, and pretty darn smart as far as animals go.

But Crowned Eagles, who hunt in pairs, are often able to outwit and hunt down these primates.

Pairing off in male and female duos, one eagle causes a distraction for the monkey while

the other swoops in for the kill, using their powerful talons to quickly kill their food.

However, outside of the rainforest, the crowned eagle's diet tends to be somewhat more diverse.

When monkeys are taken in a relatively small scale, other animals, mainly antelopes and

rodents, become the leading prey.

Thanks to their impressive hunting skills, these eagles are known as "Leopards of the

sky."

Clearly, they are a force to be reckoned with.

2 - Killer Whale

Also known as Orcas, these massive creatures can be found in all four oceans on the planet.

Contrary to its name, killer whales aren't whales at all, but are actually dolphins.

Growing up to 23 feet long and sometimes weighing up to 11 tons, Killer Whales feast on an array

of sea creatures such as various fish, seals, squids, and even sharks.

Their hunting prowess has earned them a fierce reputation and the nickname, "Wolves of

the sea" as if the name Killer Whale isn't already enough to show that these guys are

fierce enough to kill almost any sea creature unfortunate enough to cross its path.

Much like actual wolves, Killer Whales hunt in packs and never worry about becoming the

prey, because they're apex predators.

They have no natural predators in the wild.

Also they have many evolutionary tools at their disposal, such as the ability to swim

at the incredible speed of up to 30 miles per hour, razor sharp teeth, and advanced

intelligence.

In fact, they're known to be some of the smartest sea creatures in the world.

This combination of brains and brawn allows Killer Whales to employ savvy hunting methods

to subdue their prey.

For example, they basically surf on waves to kill seals for dinner.

They even eat stingrays, animals which have that famed dreaded stinger.

But these mammoth brainiacs give zero fs about that.

They know their science pretty well and figured out that by flipping the rays on their back,

they become paralyzed and of course become an easy meal.

They even use teamwork to systematically chip away at giant patches of ice where seals hang

out.

Known as "wave washing", this strategy involves whales working together to chip away

at giant patches of ices and them tipping them over to capture seals.

Even the most ferocious of sharks are no match for the Killer Whales.

I could go on and on about how amazing of a predator killer whales are, but if you're

not convinced by now, you never will be!

1 - Army Ant

If dragonflies suggest that size doesn't matter, then Army Ants prove this theory.

Utilizing their strength in numbers, a colony of army ants can take out up to 500,000 prey

in a single day.

That's more than an army of people can kill in one day during a full-fledged war.

Yes, these are deadly creatures indeed.

Of course to be fair, your average army ant colony numbers upwards 15 million ants, a

great deal larger than most creatures.

Still, they use their number and efficiency to their advantage.

And let's not let that insane 500,000 a day figure escape us.

By some estimates they eat more than lions, tigers and wolves combined.

With an exclusively carnivorous diet,

Relative to their size, they have a very strong bite.

Multiply that by a few million, and almost any creature dumb enough to get in their way

is pretty much screwed.

Here's what's next!

Temperatures continue to fall Friday with a wintry mix on the way - Duration: 3:45.

HE SAYS HE'S NOWHERE CLOSE

TO

BEING FINISHED SERVING THE

COUNTRY.

LET'S TAKE A LOOK AT WHAT'S

GOING ON THIS MORNING.

RADAR

AND SATELLITE NOT PICKING UP ON

A LOT RIGHT NOW, BUT YOU CAN

SEE

SOME RAIN BACK ACROSS THE

KENTUCKY -- ACROSS KENTUCKY AND

PORTIONS OF TENNESSEE THIS

MORNING.

WE'RE STARTING TO GET

A LITTLE BIT OF A WINTRY MIX

COMING IN.

THROUGH TODAY WE'LL

STAY ON THE DRY SIDE.

CHECK OUT

WHAT'S GOING ON ON THE SURFACE.

WE HAVE A COLD FRONT THAT'S

GOING TO MAKE IT THROUGH IN THE

AFTERNOON.

TEMPERATURES WILL

CONTINUE TO FALL AS WE GO

THROUGH THE AFTERNOON AS WELL.

WE'LL WANT TO PREPARE FOR THAT.

ALSO WE'RE GOING TO GET SOME

VERY COLD AIR IN HERE SATURDAY.

WE'RE TALKING ABOUT NUMBERS IN

THE 30s.

I'M GOING TO DETAIL

THAT A LITTLE BIT MORE.

BUT WE

DEFINITELY WARMED UP YESTERDAY.

WE'RE STILL ON THE MILD SIDE

TODAY.

WE'RE WAITING FOR THE

COLD FRONT TO MOVE THROUGH AND

THEN TEMPERATURES WILL FALL

TODAY.

TURN TO THE MILD

TEMPERATURES.

LOOK AT AT THAT

MONEY YUM.

-- TOMONIUM.

WE HAD

DIED A RECORD SET BACK IN 1890,

THE RECORD OF 70 DEGREES.

I

SPOKE GLADLY IF WE GOT SOME

SUNSHINE IN THAT -- I SPOKE

YESTERDAY THAT IF WE GOT SOME

SUNSHINE IN, THAT WE MIGHT

REACH

THAT RECORD.

TEMPERATURES NOT

GOING THAT WAY TODAY.

WE'RE

DEFINITELY GOING TO START TO GO

DOWN AND THE COLD AIR WILL BE

UPON US AS WE GO TOWARDS THE

AFTERNOON ESPECIALLY TOWARDS

TOMORROW.

WE LOOK AT THE FUTURE

CAST WINDS, REALLY RIGHT NOW

WE'RE DEALING WITH BREEZY

CONDITIONS, BUT WINDS WILL

SUBSIDE A BIT TOWARDS TOMORROW.

THE ONLY THING THAT WE WILL BE

DOLING WITH BEGIN IS THE WINTRY

MIX COMING IN.

TODAY WE WILL

GET A LITTLE BIT OF SUNSHINE IN

AS THE AFTERNOON GOES ON AND

THEN WE'LL BUILD THE CLOUDS

BACK

UP TOWARDS THE EVENING.

CHECK

THIS OUT AS WE GET TOWARDS

1:00 ON SATURDAY, AFTER

LUNCHTIME THAT'S WHEN WE

POSSIBLY COULD GET SOME SNOW

COMING IN ACROSS THE AREA, AND

THEN IT'LL START TO SWITCH OVER

AS WE HEAD TOWARDS 4:00, 5:00

IN

THE EVENING.

WE COULD SEE SOME

ICING GOING ON.

WE'RE TALKING

ABOUT SOME SLEETING AND ALSO

SOME FREEZING RAIN MIXING INTO

THAT.

WHENEVER YOU HEAR THOSE

TWO WORDS, SLEET OR FREEZING

RAIN, THAT'S DEFINITELY ICE

THAT

WILL BE COMING IN.

THAT'S GOING

TO BE THE BIGGEST CONCERN.

WHEN

WE'RE TALKING ABOUT HOW MUCH

SNOW, NOT A LOT OF SNOW, MAYBE

A

HALF INCH TO AN INCH THAT WILL

BE COMING IN.

REMEMBER WE DID

HAVE PLENTY OF WARM DAYS, SO

THAT IS GOING TO DEFEAT PURPOSE

OF THE SNOW TRYING TO STICK.

I

DON'T THINK THAT WE'LL SEE TOO

MUCH OF THAT, ONLY ON THE

GRASSY

SURFACES.

AS WE 10 THROUGH

TODAY IT IS GOING TO BE BREEZY.

WE'RE TALKING ABOUT DRY

CONDITIONS AND WE'RE ALSO

TALKING ABOUT TEMPERATURES

ABOVE

NORMAL.

LET'S HEAD OUTSIDE TO

ADRIENNE.

HOW DOES IT FEEL OUT

THERE?

Reporter: HUGE DIFFERENCE

OUT

HERE THIS MORNING.

IT'S IN THE

THAT BAD.

I'VE GOT A LIGHT

JACKET ON THIS MORNING, AND IT

IS STARTING TO FEEL A LITTLE

BIT

BREEZY.

THAT'S SOMETHING TO

KEEP IN MIND THROUGHOUT THE

COURSE OF THIS MORNING AND INTO

THIS EVEN.

WE WILL BE

CONTENDING WITH BREEZY

CONDITIONS.

BUT THE WEEKEND THE

BIG STORY WILL BE THE SYSTEM

THAT ARRIVES TOMORROW.

AS

LYNETTE MENTIONED, IT LOOKS

LIKE

IT'LL WORK ITS WAY IN AFTER

LUNCH TOMORROW.

HIGH

TEMPERATURES, YESTERDAY

70 DEGREES, TOMORROW WEE SEE

HIGHS AROUND THE FREEZING MARK

WITH THAT WINTRY MIX STARTING

OUT AS SNOW AND THEN TRANSITION

TO GO SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN.

DEFINITELY COULD SEE SOME

ISSUES

AS YOU HEAD OUT AND ABOUT, SO

DEFINITELY TAKE IT SLOW IF YOU

1984-0114 Makar Sakrant Puja Talk, The Internal Revolution, Mumbai, India, DP-RAW, subtitles - Duration: 15:50.

I welcome all the sahaja yogis from abroad to this great country of yoga.

It gives me immense pleasure; I have no words to express,

to see sahaja yogis coming from all over the world,

all over the country to celebrate this special occasion today.

It's so auspicious today that you all should be here;

because you are the chosen ones, the soldiers

who are going to fight till Satya Yuga is established on this earth.

Is the day of revolution.

San-krant means: san means, you know, auspicious, krant means revolution.

Today is the day of holy revolution.

I've told you about the rebellion that in rebellion we move in a pendulum

from one to another end as a result of inertia.

But through the ascent,

when we achieve a higher state, it's only possible when there is a revolution

and revolution takes spirally. The movement has to be spiral

to land up at a higher position. So this is the revolution

which is the holy revolution.

We have known of many revolutions so far; we have had revolutions in our country.

In other western countries also we have had revolution

on the political grounds, on the grounds of disparities.

Many other things have been fought through revolution,

but still, the ascent has not been achieved within.

I am talking about the revolution within ourselves.

In this revolution you are very much helped by your own Mother, the Kundalini,

and you evolve in a very sweet manner;

in a spiral ascent to land up as realized souls.

You have been very kind to come to this country

because this country does not have the comforts

and the facilities you have in your own country;

so one has to be prepared for the roughing out,

which may be difficult for some people to do so.

I had to buy a present for some gentleman when I came to Bombay

and I thought what should I buy? I'd better go and buy some ivory piece for him.

So I went to the shop, and I got a beautiful ivory piece

called hitopadesh where Shri Krishna is sitting on a beautiful chariot of ivory

and giving the hitopadesh, the sermon of Gita to Arjuna.

It was very easy to buy; it took only half an hour for me to go and buy the thing.

But to buy the wrapping paper I had to waste two hours in Bombay.

Because you can't get a sensible wrapping paper here;

and then the ribbon and then the flowers, is an impossible situation.

So I didn't know what to do.

I got absolutely, according to my husband, a third class wrapping paper.

I brought it back home; he said, "You can't wrap with this nonsense;

it looks so horrid." I said, "Now, if you want, I can get silk to wrap it

in this country, but a wrapping paper is a problem."

So when the gentleman was presented, I told him very frankly,

"I'm sorry, in Bombay I couldn't get a good wrapping paper,

but ivory I've brought for you", and he was so enamored by the present.

So in this country, you have to see that we can get ivory,

but we cannot get wrapping paper.

And those who are used to wrapping paper find it difficult to adjust

because we are used to convenience of wrapping paper.

So one has to realize that the wrapping paper, of which we are so much

fond of or we are used to, is of no importance;

while you cannot get ivory in the western countries.

If you have to get an ivory piece, I don't know,

you'll have to move for years together to an ivory piece,

but the wrapping paper you can get it in five minutes.

So one has to realize this is a country, if you have to know about it,

you have to go deep down into it.

You have to develop a deeper understanding of this country.

If you see the bathrooms and if you see the roads, if you see the houses

all black, dark, dirty, according to all the, all the common standards of life.

Forget it; forget it.

You have not come here to see this, that all you can see in your own country,

and you have seen it. But what you have come to see here is the depth,

the love, the affection, the human beings.

And you'll be very happy because you'll find very rare experiences,

which will really enthrall you with joyous memories for all your life.

Also, this country, especially Maharashtra, is a special country

because the Kundalini of the universe resides

in this triangular plane. Or we can say this is the atta:

the triangular raised platform,

and hence the vibrations in this country, this part of the country, are very great.

Now, to come to for Maha Yoga, as the Sahaja Yoga today has become Maha Yoga,

you have to come to Maharashtra. Maharashtra is the great nation.

So I'm sure you are expecting lot of things to happen to you,

but keep your minds open because it's a revolution.

It's not just a pendulum that from comfort you are coming to discomfort.

One thing you have to realize, it has nothing to do like an anti-culture stuff.

You have come here to jump into your subtler and subtler sensitivities;

so the grosser sensitivities must be neglected and negated

so that you can feel your subtler sensitivities.

Once you start understanding this basic principle of enjoying here,

I'm sure the whole venture will be extremely fruitful.

Because all over the world we realize that Sahaja Yoga

is the only way for human emancipation; is the only way

we are going to transform this world into a beautiful place.

For that we have to get into a proper understanding geared up;

absolutely like soldiers into a disciplined life,

so that whatever we want to do, we can do in our optimum capacities.

So to allow your full capacities to manifest, try to negate,

to overlook your gross sensitivities, whichever come in-between.

You have to cut it short sometimes. You'll have to get up early in the morning;

you'll have to bathe in a funny way, and it will be a difficult thing.

But if you try to adjust with this noble idea

that you are a part and parcel of the great Virat.

And that you all have to join together in such a way

that in your sensitivity you become equally the same;

that you understand each other very well.

I'm sure you will enjoy the love and hospitality of your hosts here.

This revolution starts on such a day today I'm very happy.

So we have to have the revolution acceptable to us.

You know, when French revolution took place, how people lived;

when in this country people fought for their freedom, how they lived.

I know, My father sacrificed every single farthing he had;

he, we had to live in huts while we lived in very great comforts ourselves.

He sacrificed everything. My mother went to jail five times.

My father went to jail three times, and every time he was in the jail

for not less than two to three years. So you can imagine, with so many children,

how they sacrificed everything that they had to achieve this freedom.

Now if you have to achieve the freedom of the spirit

we must have the sense of sacrifice. But it doesn't mean sacrifice with complaint;

but sacrifice that can be enjoyed, sacrifice of which you have to be proud,

sacrifice that you don't feel, sacrifice that ennobles you.

That is the spirit with which this revolution has to take place.

So far, if you know, we have not sacrificed anything.

Of course, ego and all these nonsensical things you have sacrificed, no doubt,

but that you never wanted in any way; none of you liked that ego.

Even Indians had to sacrifice a lot, they have given up many habits

which are very deterrent or injurious to healthy growth of this nation.

As sahaja yogis they have also come up so high,

they have become very honest, extremely sweet and hospitable people.

In the same way, I would say that My children abroad

have really done marvelous feats to give up some things,

which I thought will be difficult for them to give up.

They have changed their moral values, they have accepted a very strict moral code.

And they enjoy that morality and that virtue.

I don't know how to congratulate you for this.

You may say, "Mother, your love has done it", but I just don't know.

I think it's your own capacities, your purvo janmas sanchitas;

whatever you have earned in your previous lives has done all this.

Otherwise, it is impossible even to change one person.

All this change has come for the good, for the enjoyment and happiness.

You don't have to change much more; you don't have to change,

but now you have to enjoy the change. And the enjoyment of the change comes

when all the tags that you have from India, from east or from west,

are pulling you down; just throw them away and come up.

All of you together should enjoy together the joy and the bliss of your Father.

So today is a great day. This sankramana that has started

requires serious effort.

We cannot play about with that. It's very great emergency.

I can feel in the atmosphere the emergency:

all the Gods and Goddesses are there to help you to work it out.

You are on the stage and you have to create

that great drama of revolution.

We have to show to this world that it's only the spirit

that can save the world, nothing else.

And so, from today we start our journey

towards that subtlety and that sensitivity, which you can feel;

which you can feel Nirananda. Nirananda, your Mothers name is Nira,

and at Sahasrara, you feel the ananda, the joy of Nira.

May God bless you.

Incoming Trump administration urged to prioritize N. Korea human rights - Duration: 0:46.

The incoming Trump administration has been urged to make North Korean human rights a

priority as it considers its policy on the regime.

The U.S. State Department's Human Rights Chief Tom Malinowski told Voice of America this

week that he expects bipartisan support for the issue,... as Washington will continue

its efforts to hold violators accountable.

He added that the announcement of new sanctions on North Korean officials and government entities

for human rights violations is a clear message from Washington that "there's a price to be

paid" by those engaging in violations.

Phil Robertson, deputy Asia director at Human Rights Watch, said in a recent interview that

he welcomes the announcement of the sanctions list... and described situation as "a throwback

to the worst abuses of the 20th century."

Six different mega dairies

have their goods on display, all churning out the same white stuff (called milk), and

they all look identical. Choice? Oh yes, you can have skimmed, reduced low-fat, or whole;

all of which are pasteurised and homogenized.
