Could Space Travel Make You Go Blind? - Duration: 3:45.
I told you to stop going into space, if you keep doing it you'll go blind!
Hey, pupils!
Julian here for DNews.
Scientists have long been stumped as to why some astronauts who spend an extended period
of time in space end up with vision impairment.
Well, NASA could be one step closer to solving this nebulous mystery thanks to research from
the University of Miami, which concluded that astronauts who spent approximately six months
or more in space had a higher volume of cerebrospinal fluid than those who had shorter trips.
Now, let's just be clear, cerebrospinal fluid is a very good thing.
It helps protect the brain and spinal cord, delivers nutrients to nervous system tissue,
and removes waste products from the brain.
However, too much of a good thing, is an awesome thing.
But too much of an awesome thing is bad.
The researchers found that cerebrospinal fluid, which normally adjusts to pressure changes
on earth, gets discombobulated by the microgravity in space and begins to build up near the eye
socket and in certain cavities of the brain.
This added pressure of cerebrospinal fluid could flatten out the back of the Astronaut's
eyeballs, changing the shape of the retina, inflaming the optic nerve, and causing choroidal
folds which are essentially wrinkles on the inside of their eyeballs.
The condition is known as visual impairment intracranial pressure syndrome.
"Visual impairment" is putting it mildly.
In 2005, astronaut John Phillips spent six months at the International Space Station,
during which time his vision went from 20/20 to 20/100.
That means he had to stand 20 feet away from a line of letters to see them clearly, while
the average person can make them out at 100 feet.
A similar impairment happened to astronaut Robert Thirsk in 2009 after also spending
six months at the station.
Though both astronauts saw gradual improvements after returning home, their vision was never
fully restored to its original state.
Astronaut Scott Kelly also fell victim to the space-induced vision loss, and today is
forced to rely on reading glasses since returning from his year in space in 2015.
It's difficult to test if fluid-buildup is the culprit because the only way to measure
the increased pressure accurately would be to drill a hole in the astronaut's skull
or do a spinal tap in space.
Talk about turning it up to 11.
It also doesn't explain why only around 20% of Astronauts who went on long missions
come down seeing worse than when they went up.
So other causes have been proposed, like a vitamin or folate deficiency.
Most strangly is the idea that the vision loss is caused by polycystic ovarian syndrome
(or PCOS) which, as you might expect, causes cysts on ovaries.
Seems a little odd, considering all the astronauts who have suffered vision loss were men and
I'm going to wager they don't have ovaries.

But the name is misleading, even for women: 20% of women who have it don't have polycystic

DO I LOVE ARGENTINA AND HATE BRAZIL? 🇦🇷 🇧🇷 - Duration: 5:40.
Well guys, I don't even know how to start
this video because I think the
topic is a little complicated, but I was
thinking about making this video for a long time,
but I was procrastinating
and procrastinating until I received
some messages and read some
comments on the video I posted
two weeks ago,
the one in which I was wearing the Argentinian jersey
and then, I couldn't stand it anymore and
I decided that it was time to talk about it.
The first thing I'd like to
say, and I know you already know this, but
we often forget or end up
not thinking about this, is that the
division of Earth in countries is a
social construct and that means that the
division doesn't exist by itself, but
it's man-made.
The second thing is that we don't
choose the country we're born, right? We're
simply born and then, when we grow up
a little, we find out that
we have a nationality and that
we belong to a certain group.
But the most important thing is that just because
you were born in a certain country,
you end up spending your whole life, or
most of your life, immersed in the culture
of that country
and that culture becomes
familiar to you and you end up
creating emotional ties with that culture.
And a cool analogy is when
you hear a song for the first
time. Sometimes, you hear a song and
you don't like it very much, but then, you
hear it a few times on the radio and you
end up liking that song, right?
The song becomes
familiar to you.
And the culture of our
country is so familiar to us, and
so pleasant, and so normal, we
identify ourselves so much with that culture
that often we end up feeling
proud of it, right? And that's patriotism and
I, particularly, don't see any problem
in being a patriot.
The problem appears when:
1. We start to think that our country and our
culture is superior to that of others, which
is nationalism, right? Or
2. When we
blindly accept all elements
of our culture as normal, never
questioning them
and even attack people who
question them, saying that they're
traitors to the country or something like that.
So, for instance, there's this
rivalry between Brazil and Argentina
which most Brazilians accept
as something normal, maybe even to the extreme
by believing that if you're Brazilian,
you must feel this rivalry
against Argentina, but it isn't like that, right guys?
Being Brazilian is not synonymous
with feeling rivalry against Argentina,
not even in soccer,
that was created and no one
has to buy into that if you don't want to,
so, if I wear the Argentinian jersey,
that doesn't mean I'm less
Brazilian, that I'm less patriotic or that
I don't like Brazil,
that simply means that I
chose not to buy into
one element among many elements of Brazilian
culture.
Another thing that I also think
is related to this discussion is the
issue of false dilemma or false
dichotomy which I talked about a
little in this video
that I'll link to above.
But in terms of
nationality, more specifically, it's
about that old story of
us versus
them
you're either with us
or you're with them.
Ok, but what if I want to belong to both groups?
Can't I?
And it's this division
of us vs. them that create so much conflict
in the world and no one has to, and, in
my opinion, no one should buy into
that kind of thinking.
The other day, I read a comment by an
Argentinian calling me a hipocrite
because I've made a video talking about the
things I love about Argentina,
but in another video, I also said that
I love Spain.
Does it always have to be one or another?
Can't I love Brazil, Argentina,
Spain, and the United States?
Does that mean that
I'm a hypocrite? Does that mean that I'm
less Brazilian or that I'm not a patriot?
Like me,
I think most Brazilians are
patriotic and love their culture, but I
know one Brazilian in particular
who doesn't relate to Brazilian culture at all,
he doesn't like
carnival, he doesn't like parties, he doesn't
like Brazilian music, he even dislikes
the Portuguese language and he
relates way more to French culture.
And he has the right to feel that way, after all he
didn't choose to be Brazilian,
none of us chose our
nationality.
Summing up this whole discussion, what I
really wanted to say is that you and I
have every right to
love Brazil, to dislike Brazil,
to love Brazil and love other
2, 5, 10, 50 countries.
My love is not delimited by borders.
And yours?

COBRA questions and answers 6th Dec 2016 - Duration: 6:27.
COBRA questions and answers (6th Dec. 2016) Steve: Do the Cabal or the Light Forces have
more influence on Hungary?
COBRA: Both.
Steve: Who were our ancestors who created us people?
COBRA: Please specify your question.
Steve: The next question is related to Kryon, the entity living inside the Earth.
Corey Goode has also talked about this entity, who even though wants our ascension, it is
still partly misleading what he says.
He seems to share a lot of meaningless information and I get nervous when I read his messages
because I have the feeling he talks too much about nothing.
If it is not so, then why do I feel uneasy about him?
Is Kryon a clear source?
COBRA: To a certain degree.
Steve: Does Sheldan Nidle really come from the Sirius star system and is the information
he shares correct?
I do not exactly mean his weekly messages but the information he shares on his website
about the lightships, light chambers and the Galactic Federation.
COBRA: Sheldan Nidle had pysical contact with the Sirians.
Steve: It seems to me that the most important thing is which timeline will be activated.
How many possible timelines exist, and what will decide which one prevails?
If everyone would be able to accomplish their goals why they incarnated here, what would
be its result?
COBRA: There is one main positive timeline with subtle variations.
If everybody would do their mission, we would have the Event decades ago.
Steve: Was the method of Access Bars really given to humanity by positive ETs?
COBRA: Yes.
Steve: Sri Amma and Sri Bhagavan, the Avatars from India, work for creating oneness (Oneness
University) and we know the phenomenon of deeksha through them.
Do they work for the Light?
What can you tell us about them?
Do they play any role towards the Event?
COBRA: Yes, they work for the Light.
They try to bring as much Light as possible to prepare us for the Event.
Steve: Does the positive Templar group in Hungary know about the Cobra Etheric Liberation
Hungary group and do they monitor the work of our group?
COBRA: Yes.
Steve: What kind of quality does the Goddess quality represent?
In what way can it appear in our personal lives?
What kind of tasks does it go hand in hand with?
How can we deepen this quality within ourselves day by day?
What is the real mission of todays Sisterhood of the Rose group, the Goddesses, who have
recreated this community all over the world, apart from supporting the Event?
COBRA: Goddess energy brings the feminine qualites of love, tenderness and beauty.
It can make our lives flowing more smoothly and with less obstacles.
You can connect with the Goddess energy in your own way.
Sisterhood of the Rose group can meet weeky to bring as much as possilbe of the Goddess
energy in daily life.
Steve: What level of consciousness are the Lightworkers on at the moment, compared to
their previous level?
How much their inner Light and strength have increased recently?
COBRA: The Light is strenthening.
Steve: Are the Blue Avians, the sphere beings, those seraphims and cherubims referred to
in the Bible?
COBRA: No.
Steve: With the help of bilocation techniques we could achieve a huge success towards the
liberation of the planet.
With these techniques, although under certain conditions, we can already safely make contact
with certain inner Earth cultures and if many people would use these methods it would result
in dissolving the matrix, besides its beneficial effects on humanity.
The question is: how to implement this technique in the most effective way?
COBRA: After your Ascension.
Steve: Is that true that El Roi from the Bible lives on Earth on a hidden location and does
he keep society in balance?
COBRA: No.
Steve: Why did the Mayans go under ground and how developed are they?
COBRA: They created a breakaway civilization and they are very developed now.
Many of them have been reabsorbed into the Pleiaidan civilization.
Steve: Why do we have to repeat our path so many times?
How can we remember when it is erased?
When will a cell be able to remember again?
COBRA: Because the Archons erase the memory.
You can remember again if you reconnect with your Soul.
Steve: Which important question did not we ask that can pave our path?
COBRA: How can I become who I really am?
Steve: I read about Area 51 earlier, where there are experimental bases for aliens, where
cloning is done.
Does Area 51 still exist or has it already been destroyed?
COBRA: Area 51 has been repurposed and remodelled.
Steve: According to the Jewish Talmud "Jesus is the son of the unholy Nimrud."
What does this actually mean?
What does it refer to?
So whose son did Jesus incarnate as and of which people?
COBRA: Can you show the exact quote from Talmud that says this?
Steve: Thank you very much.
We really appreciate Cobra for sharing his busy time with us for this interview.

Jeep Wrangler N-Fab Rock Rail - Textured Black (2007-2017 JK) Review & Install - Duration: 5:08.
I'm Ryan from extremeterrain.com, and this is my review of the N-Fab Rock Rail, fitting
all 2007 and up four-door JKs. Today we're going to talk through the installation of
these Rock Rails, which is a very simple one out of three wrenches. These are going to
bolt directly on to the body mounts on your JK, so there is no need to cut or drill anything.
This is a simple bolt-on installation that you can get done in under an hour. We're also
going to talk about the construction and a few of the features of these rails.
These are for those of you who want to add some rocker-panel protection to your JK, but
also add a very functional step. Now, these do protrude from the side of the Jeep enough
that you can easily get a foot on there, step up into your Jeep, and make it a lot easier
to get in and out, especially if you have a lift on your Wrangler. However, the way
that these attach onto the body mount bolts, and actually just the smaller body mount bushing
bolts of your Jeep isn't going to be as strong of a connection as some of those other Rock
Rails that attach directly on to that much larger body bolt. And also onto the pinch
seam of the JK. Also, even on this longer four-door version, only mount in two locations
on the Jeep instead of three like some of the other versions, all mean that these aren't
going to be quite as strong as some of the other Rock Rails on the market. However, these
are still a very well-built Rock Rail that are going to offer some light protection,
and a very useful step.
As far as construction goes, these rails are very well built. They are made of 1¾ inch
steel tubing that's covered and are texture-like powder coat finish that's going to help them
resist rust and corrosion. They're also going to do a good job of matching a lot of other
aftermarket accessories you might bolt on to your JK, and also the factory plastic black
accents that are on your Jeep right out of the factory. And these do have a fairly traditional
design. There are a few other rails out there that look fairly similar to these. They'll
have the one rail that runs directly along the bottom of your rocker panel, and then
the other rail that's separated by the square stock steel with holes drilled in it. That
will be your step and also offer a little bit of additional protection as well.
Now, as I mentioned, these are designed to bolt on to your body mount bushing bolts.
Those are the two smaller bolts that are next to the large body bolt. So, these are going
to do a good job of giving you, of course, door ding protection, but even more than that
some light off-road protection. However, if you do drop a big, heavy loaded four-door
off of a ledge on to an obstacle, chances are these are going to move a little bit.
There are some stronger ways of mounting a rock slider. And if you are doing some more
of that hardcore off-roading, and you need a little bit more strength, I would recommend
taking a look at one of those other rock sliders that mounts a little bit more securely. Although
they also may be a little bit more expensive, and probably won't offer as a much of a step.
So there's definitely a bit of a tradeoff.
As I mentioned before, the install for this is a very simple one out of three wrenches,
and you're going to be able to get it done in your driveway in just about an hour. All
you need to do to get these bolted up to your Jeep is to remove the four body bushing bolts
that are existing in your JK right from the factory. Once you have those removed, you'll
set your rail up into place and replace those four bolts, torquing them down. All you're
going to need is a 13-millimeter socket, and you'll be able to get this job done very,
very easily. Now, these are a little bit large, and they do have a little bit of weight to
them. You can certainly wrestle them up into place by yourself and get those bolts started.
But it will be helpful to have an extra set of hands around or a tall set of jack stands
that you can rest one end of the Rock Rail on it while you are getting the bolt started
on the other end.
As far as price goes, you are going to be out right around $400 for these rails. Now,
these are a really well-built version of these rails. As I said before, there are other companies
out there that are making a rail that's going to be similar to this. But from a build quality
and a coding quality perspective, these are, in my opinion, worth a little bit more than
some of the other ones out there. These are very, very well built. That being said, if
you are looking for more protection, you are probably going to have to spend a little bit
more and get a beefier rail that mounts in a different fashion. Or if you are just looking
for a step, there are some less expensive options out there. But again, if you are comparing
other Rock Rails that are this similar design with similar amounts, I think that these ones
are very well built, so I think that they are worth a few extra dollars.
So if you're looking to add a Rock Rail on to your JK for some light off-road protection,
some door ding protection when you're on the road. And also a very useful step to help
you get in and out of your lifted or even stock-type JK, these are going to be an option
that is very well built. So that's my review of the N-Fab Rock Rails, fitting all 2007
and up JKs, that you can find right here at extremeterrain.com.

Everyday Makeup Routine 2017 | CC | Brightly Bianca - Duration: 5:42.
Oh my God this is like backwards--What?
Anyways.
Hi everyone!
It's Bianca, and today I will be showing you how I get this natural everyday makeup--what
the--...okay sorry.
Can you not?
oh my God.
[crickets] Hi everyone.
It's Bianca and I hope you're all doing well today.
Today's video is quite simple.
I'm going to be showing you how I get this everyday natural makeup look, which I typically
wear for class or work if I'm wearing makeup that day 'cause I don't like to wear too much
makeup, or sometimes no makeup at all, everyday.
Anyway, it's, again, quite simple, natural, everyday.
I have to warn you, I'm not a makeup guru or makeup expert or makeup artist or anything,
so, I hope you like it.
And enough of my talking, let's get to the video.
[Voiceover] So of course you want to start with a clean face and your hair out of the
way, just like how I'm showing here.
So I'm gonna begin by basically moisturizing my face.
The first product I'm using is Nivea Men Sensitive Post Shave Balm which I got from Walgreens
for like $6.
I'm patting it all over my face, like you see here.
The following product I'm going to use is Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream with SPF 35
which I got on sale at Macy's.
I got it for like $19, but anyway, I just pat it all over my face as you can see right
now.
Next up I'm going to be using this Maybelline Fit Me!
Concealer which I got at Walgreens for like $7.
I'm gonna use it to cover any blemishes, or any under-eye circles like you can see here,
and to cover basically just any redness, imperfections, around the eyebrows, forehead, nose, etc.
After applying it normally, I'm just spreading it with my fingers, but you could also use
a concealer brush if you wanted to.
Make sure to spread it evenly to make sure that it doesn't look too cake-y or that it's
not creasing or anything, and that your entire skin is matching, so that you don't look like
you have any patches.
I'm going to spread it quickly with a powder brush.
The next product I'm going to be using is the Too Faced Pressed Powder from Macy's.
It's $30 right now but I originally got it for like $20.
I think it was on sale.
Anyway, I'm using the little, um, cushion?
I think, and just spreading it all over my face.
The following product I'm going to be using is the Maybelline Fit Me!
Blush from Walgreens which is $5.29 but I got it on sale for $2.99 I think, or something
like that.
I'm just spreading it on the apples of my cheeks as you can see here.
Next up I'm using my all-time favorite mascara, it's the 100% Pure Dark Chocolate Mascara,
it's currently $25 on the site but I got it for, like, $20 a few months ago.
It's seriously one of my favorite mascaras ever.
The pigmentation is Dark Chocolate, but I think they also had it in Black Tea when I
found it, and it's really amazing.
I love it.
It's 100% natural, which is definitely such a bonus.
Okay, that's it.
So the next product I'm gonna be using is this Wet 'n Wild megasticks Balm Stain which
is at $2.99 in Walgreens right now, and the color I'm using is called Pinky Promise, and
I just spread it on my lips like so.
It's very very moisturizing.
Anyway, that's basically what I wear in terms of makeup on a regular basis, if I'm wearing
makeup that day.
I usually wear it to class, running errands, going out casually, and like work, and all
that stuff.
It's pretty simple, I'm not a makeup guru, so yeah.

Imagine me and you - Rachel & Luce - Duration: 5:56.
- Hi
- Hi
- We haven't met I'm Luce.
- Rachel
- Have you ever b'... met someone and just...
but there was someone else already.
- You don't know, not straight away, it just feels.... warm and comfortable and
you hang in there and give it a chance.
- I don't agree, i think you know immediatly. You know soon as your eyes...
Then everything that happens from then on just proves that you have been right in that first moment.
When you suddenly realize that you hadn't been complete and now you're whole.
- Do you guys believe in love at first sight ?
- Did you ever fancy or think you might, briefly before you realize you didn't, ... another.. woman ?
- Do you feel my hand ?
- Maybe if you put them both there.
- Yeah, i think you don't mess with other couples.
- What does she like ? - You know what she likes.
- The lily means i dare you to love me.
- Face facts that it can't happen... walk away.
- You could put an end to this. - How ?
- Tell me to go
- Tell me that's what you want and i will walk away and you will never see me again.
- Is that what you want ?
- I want you.
- I can't
- Don't forget me.
- I won't remember anything else.
- I met this girl
- Does she love you?
- I'm in love with someone else..
Her name ... is Luce.
- Yes..
- Because what you're feeling now
is the unstoppable force
~ If there's a thing that can't be stopped, it's not possible for there to be something else which can't be moved
and vice versa they can coexist..~
which means that i've got to move.
- But please my darling, follow your heart.
- Where did you two meet ? - At my wedding.
- But it's such a short time, how can you be sure ?
- I knew after three seconds.
- Hello
- Luce it's me listen, we have to talk, everything's changed
- There's nothing to say, we can't do it, Bye.
- That singing.
~They say fairytales have happy endings~
I heard that singing before.
You're a wanker number nine.
~ You're a wanker number nine ~
- Luce i can do this.
I can do this.

Are Doctors Selling Your Private Medical Records? - Duration: 8:50.
ADAM TURNER, A FELLOW AT HARVARD, HAS RELEASED A DAMNING
BOOK, REGARDING OUR DOCTORS, AND HOW THEY COULD POTENTIALLY
SELLING OUR MEDICAL INFORMATION TO THIRD PARTIES, CONSIDERING
THOSE THIRD PARTIES ARE MULTIMILLION DOLLAR BUSINESSES.
THE INFORMATION THAT OUR DOCTORS OFFICES USUALLY SELLS OF THESE
THIRD PARTIES ARE ANONYMOUS; HOWEVER, BECAUSE OF OTHER
SOURCES OF DATA, CERTAIN COMPANIES CAN ACTUALLY FIGURE
OUT WHO WE ARE, AND WHAT MEDICATION WE ARE POSSIBLY
PRESCRIBED.
ACCORDING TO THE GUARDIAN, "ALTHOUGH THE DATA IS NOMINALLY
STRIPPED OF PERSONALLY IDENTIFYING INFORMATION, DATA
MINERS AND BROKERS ARE WORKING TIRELESSLY TO AGGREGATE ñ TWO
AGGREGATE DETAILED DOSSIERS ON INDIVIDUAL PATIENTS; THE
PATIENTS ARE MERELY CALLED 24601 INSTEAD OF JEAN VALJEAN."
IT'S A REFERENCE TO LES MIS.
BY THE WAY, I'VE SEEN THAT MOVIE AND READ THE BOOK, SO I DON'T
KNOW WHY I GOT THAT.
PATIENTS ARE REDUCED TO GENDER, AGE, PARTICULAR AILMENTS
AND NEIGHBORHOOD.
THEN, TANNER SAID, DATA MINERS CROSS-REFERENCE THAT INFORMATION
WITH DATA FROM PHARMACIES ABOUT WHO THEY SELL PERCEPTIONS
TOO, CALLED BY BIG DRUGSTORE CHAINS LIKE RITE AID AND CVS.
THINK ABOUT THAT, YOU HAVE TWO SOURCES OF DATA, AND IT BECOMES
PRETTY EASY TO CONNECT THE DOTS AND FIND OUT WHO IS WHO, WHAT
PERCEPTIONS THEY ARE GIVEN, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE
WORKING WITH SMALL TOWNS.
FINALLY, "THE PATIENT IS NOT REALLY A COMPONENT OF THIS
BECAUSE THEIR NAME AND CONNECTION TO THE
PERCEPTION HAVE BEEN STRIPPED OFF."
BUT AGAIN, PEOPLE CAN CONNECT THE DOTS.
FINALLY, "A THIRD KIND OF DATA CALLED COLLECTIVE ANALYTICS
CROSS-REFERENCES THE OTHER TWO, AND MAKES PRODUCTIONS ABOUT THE
HEAT ñ MAKES BRIDGES ABOUT BEHAVIOR WITH WHAT TANNER CALLS,
SURPRISING ACCURACY."
LET ME BREAK THIS DOWN.
IF THEY JUST KEPT IT TO METADATA AND THEY SAID, WE WANT TO FIND
OUT THE HABITS OF 18 ñ 34-YEAR-OLDS IN THE COUNTRY,
BECAUSE WE WOULD LIKE TO ADVERTISE TO THEM, YADDA YADDA.
IT'S NOT A BIG DEAL, IF IT DOESN'T EDIFY WHO YOU ARE,
I SEE ALMOST NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT.
ON THE OTHER HAND, IF THEY ARE STARTING TO IDENTIFY YOU,
WELL, PEOPLE ARE GOING TO USE IT.
HERE'S YOUR STANDARD FOR WHAT THEY ARE GOING TO USE IT OR
NOT: WILL THEY MAKE MORE MONEY IF THEY USE THAT
INFORMATION, OR NOT?
I GET IT, IF THEY WANT TO SELL YOU ñ AGAIN, IF THEY WANT TO
SELL YOU A PEPSI, IT'S NOT REALLY A BIG DEAL.
YOU CAN TOTALLY DISAGREE WITH THIS, BY THE WAY, I'LL
ALLOW IT, I AM MERCIFUL.
BUT LET'S SAY A FIND OUT IF I LIKE COKE OR PEPSI, AND
THEY GIVE ME AN AD FOR COKE OR PEPSI, THAT WILL PROBABLY WORK.
AND I WON'T MIND IT, BECAUSE I LIKE COKE AND PEPSI.
ON THE OTHER HAND, IF YOUR INSURANCE DOES TO USE IT,
TO DENY YOU COVERAGE, OR MAKE YOUR COVERAGE MORE EXPENSIVE
ñ IT'S HARD TO DENY COVERAGE THESE DAYS, BUT IT WILL BE
EASIER PRETTY SOON ñ THEN WE'VE GOT MASSIVE ISSUES.
SO, FOR THEM, THE CALCULATION IS NOT ABOUT YOUR PRIVACY,
THEY'LL CARE AT ALL.
HOW MUCH TO THAT PROGRAM COST ME?
PROBABLY NOT THAT MUCH.
TO WHAT DEGREE WILL IT WORK?
AND WILL IT SAVE ME MONEY?
SO, IF YOU LEAVE IT UP THE CORPORATIONS, THEY ARE MACHINES,
AND THEY ARE AMORAL.
THEY WILL DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO TAKE ñ TO MAKE A BUCK.
WE HAVE TO MAKE SURE THAT THEY DO NOT DO THINGS LIKE THAT, AND
YOU HAVE TO KNOW WHERE TO DRAW THE LINES.
OF COURSE CORPORATIONS ARE LOOKING TO MAKE MONEY, SO IF
THEY CAN GET THEIR HANDS ON THIS DATA THEY WILL DO WHATEVER THEY
CAN TO GET HER HANDS ON IT, BUT ANOTHER COMPONENT I WORRY ABOUT
IS, IF WE START ALLOWING OUR PRIVACY, REGARDING OUR HEALTH,
TO JUST BE OUT THERE, AND TO BE SOLD, AND ALL OF OUR DIRTY
LITTLE SECRETS TO BE, YOU KNOW, EXPOSED, I WORRY THAT PEOPLE
WON'T SEEK THE HEALTH CARE THAT THEY NEED.
MAYBE YOU'RE FEELING SICK AND YOU'RE LIKE, I DON'T KNOW,
I DON'T TRUST MY DOCTOR, I DON'T WANT THIS INFORMATION TO
GET OUT THERE SO MAYBE I'LL HANDLE IT MYSELF.
I WORRY ABOUT THAT AS WELL.
AND REMEMBER, YOU GO TO A DOCTOR, AND YOU CONFIDE IN
HIM OR HER BECAUSE YOU ARE UNDER THE ASSUMPTION THAT IT IS
ALL GOING TO BE PRIVATE, RIGHT?
YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT.
I'LL GIVE YOU A SUPER GOOFY EXAMPLE FROM MY PAST.
WHEN I WAS SINGLE I WOULD GET STD TESTS MANIACALLY, NOT
BECAUSE I WAS SUPER SEXUALLY ACTIVE, JUST BECAUSE I
WANTED TO GET TESTED ALL THE TIME, AND WHEN I WOULD GO
IN I WOULD GIVE A FAKE NAME, LIKE WHATEVER, JOE JOHNSON.
AND AT THE END, IF IT CAME OUT CLEAN I WOULD BE LIKE, OH
YEAH I'M CENK UYGUR.
BUT ANYWAY, TO YOUR POINT, THIS IS NOT LIKE OTHER THINGS.
FOR EXAMPLE, IF THERE'S A HOTEL I LIKE, I CIRCUIT ONLINE,
SOMEBODY ñ I SEARCH IT ONLINE, AND THEN SOMEONE TAKES THE
COOKIES FROM MY COMPUTER, AND THEN THEY SHOW ME A PRETTY
PICTURE OF THAT HOTEL, SAME THING WITH TACO BELL, I GET
IT, THAT'S CAPITALISM.
BUT IT'S DIFFERENT WHEN IT COMES TO YOUR HEALTH, SO WE'VE
GOT TO HAVE BETTER REGULATIONS ON THAT.
ABSOLUTELY.
I WANT TO LEAVE YOU WITH ONE DETAIL FROM THIS STORY, WHICH I
THINK IS UNSURPRISING BECAUSE IT SHOWS YOU HOW MUCH POWER
CORPORATIONS HAVE OVER PRIVATE CITIZENS IN THE U.S.
THIS UP IN COURT ACTUALLY RULED IN 2011 THAT CORPORATIONS
ARE A LITTLE MORE THAN PEOPLE AND THEIR PRIVACY.
IN 2011, THE SUPREME COURT STRUCK DOWN A VERMONT LAW
RESTRICTING THE SALE, DISCLOSURE, AND USE OF RECORDS
THAT REVEAL DEEPEST DRIVING PRACTICES OF INDIVIDUAL DOCTORS,
RULING THAT CORPORATIONS RIGHT TO FREE SPEECH TRUMPED
INDIVIDUALS RIGHT TO PRIVACY."
THAT'S AMAZING.
THAT HAS SUCH IMPORTANT RAMIFICATIONS FOR
EVERYTHING THAT WE TALK ABOUT.
SO NOT ONLY DID WE INVENT THESE THINGS CALLED CORPORATIONS, THEY
ARE LITERALLY A LEGAL FICTION: THEY DON'T EXIST IN NATURE, IF
YOU RUN AROUND IN THE WOODS YOU'RE LIKELY TO RUN INTO A
CORPORATION.
IT'S SOMETHING WE INVENTED AS HUMANS, AND WE EMPOWERED
AND WROTE THE RULES FOR.
GO MAKE EVERY CENT YOU CAN, AND IF THERE'S ANYTHING IN YOUR
PATH, CRUSH IT, DESTROY IT TO MAKE A PENNY.
WHAT A STUPID THING TO WRITE INTO THE CODE OF A MACHINE.
PEOPLE ALWAYS WONDER, WHEN OTHER MACHINES GOING TO TAKE OVER?
I'VE GOT NEWS FOR YOU, THEY'VE ALREADY TAKEN OVER, IT'S
THE CORPORATIONS.
AND NOT ONLY THAT, THEY WILL HAVE CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS NOW,
ENDOWED BY THEIR CREATOR WITH INALIENABLE RIGHTS.
WAIT A MINUTE, WE ARE THE CREATOR, THAT DOESN'T MAKE
ANY SENSE.
BUT NOW THEY HAVE MORE RIGHTS THAN A HUMAN BEING DOES.
THEIR RIGHT TO PROFIT, UNDER THE GUISE OF THEIR HUMAN RIGHT TO
FREE SPEECH ñ THE SUPREME COURT CALLS THEM PEOPLE, OKAY?
SO DO REPUBLICANS.
REMEMBER MITT ROMNEY?
CORPORATIONS ARE PEOPLE, MY FRIENDS.
THAT WAS A LITTLE QUOTE FROM THE 2012
CAMPAIGN, AND HE REALLY BELIEVES IT.
NOW THESE MACHINES HAVE MORE RIGHTS THAN WE DO.
THAT IS INSANITY.
THAT'S WHAT YOU NEED A CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT TO
GET RID OF.
BECAUSE THE SPRING COURT SAYS, I DON'T CARE, I'M GOING TO
INTERPRET THE CONSTITUTION TO SAY THAT CORPORATIONS ARE THE
BEST, HUMANS SUCK, AND YOU HAVE AS MANY RIGHTS AS CORPORATIONS.
WE'VE GOT TO GO ABOVE THIS ñ ABOUT THE SERENE COURT AND
PASS A CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT.
ANY DEMOCRATS WHO TAKE MONEY FROM CORPORATIONS SAY WE
SHOULDN'T DO THAT BECAUSE AMERICAN PEOPLE REALLY LIKE
CORPORATIONS.
WHICH AMERICAN PEOPLE?
RECENT POLLS HAD THEM LESS POPULAR THAN POLITICIANS, WHICH
IS UNBELIEVABLE.
LESS POPULAR THAN MEDIA WAS LARGE CORPORATIONS.
THOSE ARE THE MACHINES THAT TOOK OVER.
WHEN IT COMES TO OUR PRIVACY AND EVERY OTHER THING, WE'VE
GOT TO FIGHT BACK.

DO I LOVE ARGENTINA AND HATE BRAZIL? 🇦🇷 🇧🇷 - Duration: 5:40.
Well guys, I don't even know how to start
this video because I think the
topic is a little complicated, but I was
thinking about making this video for a long time,
but I was procrastinating
and procrastinating until I received
some messages and read some
comments on the video I posted
two weeks ago,
the one in which I was wearing the Argentinian jersey
and then, I couldn't stand it anymore and
I decided that it was time to talk about it.
The first thing I'd like to
say, and I know you already know this, but
we often forget or end up
not thinking about this, is that the
division of Earth in countries is a
social construct and that means that the
division doesn't exist by itself, but
it's man-made.
The second thing is that we don't
choose the country we're born, right? We're
simply born and then, when we grow up
a little, we find out that
we have a nationality and that
we belong to a certain group.
But the most important thing is that just because
you were born in a certain country,
you end up spending your whole life, or
most of your life, immersed in the culture
of that country
and that culture becomes
familiar to you and you end up
creating emotional ties with that culture.
And a cool analogy is when
you hear a song for the first
time. Sometimes, you hear a song and
you don't like it very much, but then, you
hear it a few times on the radio and you
end up liking that song, right?
The song becomes
familiar to you.
And the culture of our
country is so familiar to us, and
so pleasant, and so normal, we
identify ourselves so much with that culture
that often we end up feeling
proud of it, right? And that's patriotism and
I, particularly, don't see any problem
in being a patriot.
The problem appears when:
1. We start to think that our country and our
culture is superior to that of others, which
is nationalism, right? Or
2. When we
blindly accept all elements
of our culture as normal, never
questioning them
and even attack people who
question them, saying that they're
traitors to the country or something like that.
So, for instance, there's this
rivalry between Brazil and Argentina
which most Brazilians accept
as something normal, maybe even to the extreme
by believing that if you're Brazilian,
you must feel this rivalry
against Argentina, but it isn't like that, right guys?
Being Brazilian is not synonymous
with feeling rivalry against Argentina,
not even in soccer,
that was created and no one
has to buy into that if you don't want to,
so, if I wear the Argentinian jersey,
that doesn't mean I'm less
Brazilian, that I'm less patriotic or that
I don't like Brazil,
that simply means that I
chose not to buy into
one element among many elements of Brazilian
culture.
Another thing that I also think
is related to this discussion is the
issue of false dilemma or false
dichotomy which I talked about a
little in this video
that I'll link to above.
But in terms of
nationality, more specifically, it's
about that old story of
us versus
them
you're either with us
or you're with them.
Ok, but what if I want to belong to both groups?
Can't I?
And it's this division
of us vs. them that create so much conflict
in the world and no one has to, and, in
my opinion, no one should buy into
that kind of thinking.
The other day, I read a comment by an
Argentinian calling me a hipocrite
because I've made a video talking about the
things I love about Argentina,
but in another video, I also said that
I love Spain.
Does it always have to be one or another?
Can't I love Brazil, Argentina,
Spain, and the United States?
Does that mean that
I'm a hypocrite? Does that mean that I'm
less Brazilian or that I'm not a patriot?
Like me,
I think most Brazilians are
patriotic and love their culture, but I
know one Brazilian in particular
who doesn't relate to Brazilian culture at all,
he doesn't like
carnival, he doesn't like parties, he doesn't
like Brazilian music, he even dislikes
the Portuguese language and he
relates way more to French culture.
And he has the right to feel that way, after all he
didn't choose to be Brazilian,
none of us chose our
nationality.
Summing up this whole discussion, what I
really wanted to say is that you and I
have every right to
love Brazil, to dislike Brazil,
to love Brazil and love other
2, 5, 10, 50 countries.
My love is not delimited by borders.
And yours?

Mars Mystery Crash Site Lost City Ancient Civilization Crash Site Curiosity Rover Sol 1576 #499 - Duration: 10:04.
hello friends family and internet i'm
thrilled to pieces you've chosen to hang
out and explore the universe with me
today we are looking at mars curiosity
rover we're in SOL 1576 that's right
S O L 15 76 is what we're looking at here
and so I took it into Photoshop and at
the suggestion of one of you you said
talk about the overlay i'm going to talk
about the overlay now if we look at this
very well could be a huge crash site
here a crash site that actually looks
like life on Mars
ok so this is what it looks like
naturally and you can see will let me
back up i'll undo what I did so so this
is locked so I am loaded the loaded it
from my desktop
ok so now i'm going to go up here and I
go to adjustments well not adjustments i
go to image and then down here to auto
colors so so it shows things quite a bit
differently here now this doesn't work
with all images it's working with this
one though so you can also use the other
things the color adjuster from Mars that
they have to but I don't think that's
necessary at this point right now but I
was zooming in a little bit i was
looking around to see what what might be
hiding around back here and actually
what i found was more in the foreground
and right here because and even
something this right here to this looks
like to me it looks like a little animal
right in there you see that it looks
like a little animal sitting upright
there on this little rock so that's that
one of the like most realistic looking
creatures that i've seen so what is the
things ok I'm going to do this because I
want to you know
ok the other thing that I do is ok with
the overlay I mean you can see how
things are a little bit blurry here and
I'm thinking when you have a company as
wealthy as the NASA doing multi-billion
dollar contracts at the people's money
using the people's money what you think
when they sent the multi-billion dollar
piece of equipment the mars rover
into space that they would have better
qualities than this would you think that
and I think it should we be exposed to
real images
that's what I'm thinking we should be
exposed to real images you know without
all this cover and everything on them
but i like to do a little bit of Gaussian
blur not too much and so you see right
there it kind of like enhances it a
little bit there
let me take a little bit more of it out
let me try to know that let me go let me
undo it edit step backwards and let's
do it again let's do the blur the Gaussian
blur
let's go back to I wonder what three
would look like 3 i think I like 4
better because it's sort of blended
things ok and so this is what i'm
looking at if you see that little bend
right there it looks like those little
legs and little eyes right here you see
that that's that's exactly what it looks
like this actually looks like a little
shell so maybe it could be a little
creature of some sort a frog type thing
with the shell a slug who knows what it
is and yes I mean there's all kinds of
things in here you know this very well
could be a little creature as well they
kind of
look like each other right here you know
so we can't just pass everything off as
rocks on Mars I actually believe that
there's life on Mars and amongst all
these crash sites you know that now what
is crashing on Mars is someone sending
things you know outside of it possibly
not having an atmosphere and oh oh you
know maybe somebody's sending things and
crashing them on Mars on purpose
now who would be doing that think so in
this universe that we know has
intelligent life what aliens would be
sending things to mars and crashing it
into the planet but let's look right
here is this okay but I'm might of came
in a little bit so this looks like a junk
this looks like junk and this looks
like junk up here you see these
uniformed little loooty-loos right here
these little loop loop loop loop loop
and then we've got loop loop loop loop
loop loop loop loop loop
it's in here and it's in here it looks
like mechanical parts so this very well
could be another one of those
catastrophe sites of some sort that has
wreckage in here it looks like wreckage
to me this looks like wreckage of some
sort if you see how the different color
and and the only way we could do that is
to get rid of that nasty overlay that
Mars (nasa) puts on it because they're trying
to hide these images from the public
they don't want the public to see what's
in the what's really in these images and
that's just like with anything that
businesses do i'm going to explain this
this is my understanding you have a
corporation they are they want to do
extra things to make a buff their
business up and they want to make all
this money so right now they hire a
lobbyist the lobbyists
then in turn goes to the politicians to
get something to be law and so and see
kind of thinking like with this NASA
thing you know exploration is fun that's
one thing exploration and science just
at its core that's fun but if it's being
used for the wrong reasons let's say
for war you know or could just build up
a military and spy on other countries which
is ridiculous you know what there's no
reason why we all can't get along you
know because fight fighting is stupid
okay all that doesn't sell products for
Halliburton or oil companies and of
airplane companies and all that stuff so
maybe theres not as big a need for these
companies and so what they want to do
they use the media they use the news to
create a need to sell their products and
so if they can convince the American
public with you know create public
opinion that there's a need for war and
doing all this stuff that they can go in
and steal natural resources which
basically what up to me what all this
amounts to is them you know wanting is
looking for natural resources i am
assuming the moon has been mined by
somebody that a which that's probably
another another story that will have to
talk about and so i'm assuming they're
looking to mine something on Mars you
know so it's likely and possible that
maybe there's aircraft that are already
on Mars military bases and things like
that look at this right here what
there's this does not look look look
natural this looks like something
okay do you see when we go right in here
do you see these long lines like it
could be something metallic of some sort
you see this see this is there's
something suspicious about this little
piece right in here so this image I just
pulled up not too long ago and was
looking at it and then I see these these
a part you know that maybe could be part
of the bigger picture of the explosion
or whatever happened to Mars I don't
know if it was nuclear war and it
annihilated their civilization maybe
there's still a small civilization that
lives there
I don't know what is this this looks
really strange as well
ok i'll show you guys this is one of the
things that I like to do
ok i like to take this little tool right
here and this is what we'll do with this
kind of follow along right along here I
like to click every once in a while just
to make sure it sticks and then we'll
see what we get
I'm going to lump all those together
though you know just so I can show you
guys it's not going to be i might spend
a little tiny bit more time on it when
i'm actually not recording you know i
might spend a tiny bit more time ok so
then this is what i do i go here then i
go ctrl-c ctrl-v ok so now the overlay
is on top so let's do this we will go to
what one do I want to do is I want to do
auto color
well yes there are all color in here

ñ IT'S HARD TO DENY COVERAGE THESE DAYS, BUT IT WILL BE
EASIER PRETTY SOON ñ THEN WE'VE GOT MASSIVE ISSUES.

Learn English - Weekly Tip 14 for Spanish Speakers - articles and general nouns (with subtitles) - Duration: 2:28.
Hi again everyone, and welcome back to 'One
English Tip in One Minute for Spanish
Speakers' where each week I talk about, in
some detail, one common English mistake
made by speakers of Spanish...and this is
the 14th video, so video number 14.
I repeat myself, I know, but I truly do
mean it.
I completely appreciate the fact that
you are working to improve your English.
I always admire when people can speak
more than one language, as many native
English speakers don't. So good for you. In
these videos, I show you a slide, and on
the slide there are two sentences: One is
the correct way that a native English
speaker would say it, the other is the
wrong way that many Spanish speakers say
it. Your job --
should you choose to accept it -- is to
decide which one is correct. So read the
sentences,
listen to me read the sentences, pause
the video, think about your answer and I
will discuss the answer in detail in
the slide that follows this slide.
If you, like many many other people
out there in Internet Land, got this
wrong, it's not a big deal. It just means
you have to study to get past it. And it
actually doesn't take that much to get
past these mistakes. It just takes
knowing the reason, and studying it. To
help you with that studying part, I've given
you three sentences. Memorize these
sentences in their entirety - it's very
important to remember the whole
structure of something . Review them -- so
hardwire them into your brain -- and put
into practice what you've learned
through speaking or writing or both.
You'll probably make mistakes, but
eventually you get past these mistakes.
That's sort of the idea.
