William goes on his first train ride to Busan! [The Return of Superman / 2017.05.14] - Duration: 9:11.

(William boards the express train for the first time.)

Meanwhile, Sam and William are boarding the train.

(Sam loads the luggage.)

William is confused by his first train ride.

(He puts his hand on the armrest.)

Where are they going?

(He looks like a professional traveler.)

We are going to the California of Korea.

- California? / - Yes, Bu to the San.

Busan.

(He stands up as soon as the train begins to move.)

My son might be noisy. I brought some boiled eggs.

Thank you, William.

Give it to her.

Thank you.

- Give it to her. / - Please give it to me.

Would you give it to me?

That's a good boy.

(I was playing around.)

During his last trip to Australia,

Sam apologized to the passengers in advance

with candies and earplugs.

Here you go.

Sam says hello and gives a small gift to everyone.

We hope everyone got his sincerity.

(Spluttering)

What? Busan? Busan.

(Spluttering)

(Whatever Sam does, William copies.)

(He finds the camera.)

Are you interested in the camera?

(He glances over at the cameraman.)

- No. / - Don't do that.

Don't do that.

(I knew he would do that.)

What was that?

(He tries to touch the camera again.)

No, William.

How cute.

(I won't touch the camera.)

Hello.

(He promises with a high-five.)

(Touch this instead.)

Put your hand over here.

(It's the air conditioner.)

It's cool, right?

(It's cool.)

(He sees his reflection on the window.)

Who is that? Hello.

(You are very cute.)

Clap. Clap.

(He puts his hands on the window in a tough way.)

(He leans forward.)

(He kisses his reflection.)

(William is manly.)

I'm going to have a snack.

(Puffed grain snack to satisfy his hunger)

(Staring)

(Grabbing)

You had powdered milk earlier.

(I have space in my stomach for dessert.)

Okay.

(Take it with your mouth.)

(Don't tease me.)

(Grabbing)

(He took it with his hands.)

You cute boy.

(I wanted to eat it mouth to mouth.)

(I will eat it by myself.)

What is this?

What is this?

(Is Sam upset?)

(What are you doing, Dad?)

I am making something.

(What did Sam make?)

(Smiling)

(It's a mask made of puffed grain snack.)

(William, the puffed grain snack man.)

Oh, no.

(I will eat the mask as well.)

Will Sam begin to play around?

(What is this?)

On the day he had bread for the first time,

William became confused because of Sam's prank.

What will happen today?

(Don't underestimate me.)

What is that?

(He puts a piece on William's nose this time.)

(I can see it.)

(How do I eat it?)

Oh, no.

Both of your hands are full.

(He darts his tongue in and out.)

Will you get it with your tongue?

(The same facial expression looks different on him.)

Will you get it with your tongue?

(This is fun.)

(Where is it?)

(I will add another piece of puffed grain snack.)

(Where is it?)

At that moment, William noticed something.

(The train entered the tunnel.)

His reflection gave away the location of the pieces.

(They were over here.)

It's hard to eat puffed grain snack.

(That was incredible.)

(Don't play with food.)

(I will eat it all.)

(While William is absorbed in the snack...)

(What?)

Sam and William have arrived in Busan.

We will soon be arriving at

- Busan Station. / - Busan!

Busan!

(It's time to have fun.)

Are they ready to have fun?

(The sight alone takes the weight off one's chest.)

Look at the water.

(It's cool at Haeundae Beach.)

(It's good to see you, Haeundae.)

Look, William. There is a ship.

(Welcome to Busan.)

What is that? Look at that.

What is that?

(William waves in happiness.)

That's it.

We are in Busan.

Busan! Busan!

(Here is another excited couple.)

- Hello. / - Hello.

What are you doing?

- We're on vacation. / - Are you?

- Where did you come from? / - Seoul.

Seoul.

Sam, you're handsome.

Don't lie.

How did you know?

I can tell.

What are you doing right now?

We're having a hot sand bath.

Really? Does it work?

No.

You look a little cold.

- I am cold. / - Right?

Have a great time. Bye.

- Bye. / - Bye.

What's this? Sand...

Look at that.

(What are they looking at?)

It's something you can see at the Sahara Desert.

The kid is coming down by herself.

(She's going to demonstrate.)

She's coming down by herself.

(It's pretty fast.)

It's not bad.

Do we have to wear helmets?

Are you ready? You are, right?

Let's go.

(Shouting)

(They came after hearing William's shout.)

(They're very polite.)

This is your very first thrilling event.

(He's warming up.)

Gosh. It's not easy to go up.

(He's gasping already.)

(His feet keep sinking in the sand.)

Gosh. Sand and I don't get along.

William, we're here.

But now that they're up...

It's really high and the slope is steep.

(William clenches his fist.)

Aren't you scared?

Aren't you scared?

Hello. Friend.

Friend. Boy.

Aren't you scared?

No.

Am I the only scared one, William?

(He forgets his fear and sits at the starting line.)

Okay, hold on.

(Let's go.)

You're not scared, right? Shall we go?

(Are they going to be all right?)

I'm too heavy for this.

I think it's broken.

(They have a rough start.)

(He's using his foot as a brake.)

(With a single scream,)

(Sam has created a highway.)

(Relieved)

Hold on.

Are you okay?

(It was fun!)

Marine Boy William is in love

with Busan as they travel around.

I'm the king of the world!

William even went to Sajik Stadium.

(William at Sajik Stadium)

It's the first baseball game of his life.

Please look forward to William's trip in Busan.

STAR PLATINUM! - JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Stardust Crusaders Episode 3 LIVE REACTION - Duration: 24:31.

the last episode for today cuz i have to go

im probably gonna be late because im watching this episode right now

jojo is geil

jotaro too... although i dont like him that much yet, my favorite is still JOSEPH JOESTAR

and caesar

dio brando is back

lets see what his plan is, because he is controlling people and making them evil

at least that was the case with the artist

i let the video load so long, if there are still problems with the internet im gonna cry

i asked on twitter if its ok for me to watch the opening, and my friend serdar told me i should wait a little

i just remember how i didnt listen to the opening song in jojo part 2, and missed that great opening song, luckily this is not the case here

because this song is really epic!

really epic opening! of course the second OP is better, its one of the best OPs of all time

but this one is cool

and you know whos coool too? JOSEPHJOESTAR

why can he do something like that with his hair? dio is still so op

i said it back then too

how he is always bashing japan lol

dont say dio...

dio took holy away...

or the artist, maybe he WAS evil

whats that?

so you always get sick when you get a stand?

he is seventeeen!!!!

but he is somewhere in egypt right?

why are his eyes so good?

i feel like that stand is op

jojos stand is crazy

i would just go to egypt, because thats where we have seen him the last time

maybe he left a clue in the store of abdol

loool he doesnt need a flashlight, his stand can just make a flame

why is he so aggressive towards his mom?

maybe because the have yugioh cards there

hes searching for the egyptian god cards

good joke " im NoT SurE wHy i SuDDenLy WanT tO JoIN yoU!"

he has something in mind, but he doesnt want tell us thats why he says he doesnt know lol

ok we are 19min into the episode and we had no internet problems :^ )

we can do it!

is this the ending? this is the first time we see it

why didnt they took the ending from season 1 :(

just when i said : we had no connection errors the whole episode, we have a connection error

like if you did

it was so cool how they introduced all the main characters and their stands again

so these 4 are the main characters now? artist-kun, avdol, joseph joestar...

JOSEPH JOESTAR is so badass he gets a role in 2 stories, can we just appreciate this lil quick

the other jojos (i've only seen part 1 lol) died instantly

but it was said that the joestars dont get that old

and joseph is an old man now and is in the next season because he is just so cool

he plays a role in 2 no 3 seasons, because i know jojo part 3 is subdivided in 2 seasons

im happy and im really looking forward to this season

like if u did, i have to leave now so i cant talk that much bye

Cray fish is Seungjae's friend! [The Return of Superman / 2017.05.14] - Duration: 11:35.

Seungjae and his family are in Jeju Island

to see canola flowers.

Let's go.

(Seungjae is thrilled.)

Let's go catch crawfish.

What are these?

There are a lot of crawfish, right?

(Taking a peek)

(Seungjae and crawfish are friends forever.)

(This is for Seungjae, the lobster lover.)

Jiyong seeks to please Seungjae.

You can make pizza with lobster here.

(That's a great looking lobster pizza.)

- Dad, try catching one. / - Should I?

Excuse me, sir. May I give this a try?

Yes, of course. I'll help you if you need it.

Catch the mom lobster.

Which one is the mom? The big one?

This one's the mom.

(Only he can spot the mom lobster.)

- Which one? / - That one.

- That one's the mom. / - That one?

(He captures Seungjae's mom lobster.)

Here it is.

(Exclaiming)

Hi, Mom.

(I'm your mom?)

(He's loving this.)

- The dad, too. / - What?

Please catch the dad lobster, too.

The dad lobster is right there.

- Right there. That one's the dad. / - That one?

(He tries to catch the lobster of Seungjae's choice.)

What's going on?

- What is what? / - What's that?

(This won't do. I must make an attempt.)

(Surprised)

(Will Seungjae catch what his dad failed to catch?)

Oh, no. Try one more time.

(You can do it, Seungjae.)

- I caught it. / - Nice.

(He successfully captures the lobster.)

(He's impressed)

(after seeing his own catch.)

(My goodness.)

(He enjoys teasing his son.)

- No. No. / - Take a look.

What is the lobster doing?

It's dancing, right?

Put it over here. Put it over here and say hello.

Hello, dad lobster.

Let's get grandma lobster this time.

- What? / - Let's get grandma lobster this time.

We won't get any more lobsters.

Choose between these two.

Dad lobster. I want this one.

Shall we let the owner take care of it?

- Shall I cook with this one? / - Yes, please.

Seungjae gets a sense of foreboding.

Thank you.

(The lobster came.)

(Dad lobster returned as pizza.)

(Seungjae is shocked.)

- It's hot. / - Where is the lobster?

- Be careful not to touch it. / - Is that the lobster?

- Is that the lobster? / - Yes, it is.

(I can't believe this.)

Dad lobster. Dad lobster.

(Among many lobsters,)

(I met you after much struggle. I even said hello.)

Hello, dad lobster.

(Why did you return this way?)

We can cut it and eat it, right?

(Jiyong destroys the innocence of childhood.)

Hold it like this.

The lobster, the lobster. The lobster!

- Okay. Hold on. / - Leave the lobster here.

(However, the lobster gets disassembled.)

(This has to be a dream.)

Unaware of how Seungjae feels, Jiyong enjoys the food.

Goodness, Jiyong. Does it taste that good?

Try some lobster. Open up.

(I don't want it.)

Eat the pizza, Seungjae.

No.

(I'll just eat the spaghetti.)

(It's good.)

(He eats the food and finds peace again.)

- It's tasty, right? / - Yes.

(It's good.)

(It's delicious.)

(It's drizzling in Jeju Island.)

Where are we going?

- Where are we going, Dad? / - Where do you think?

We are going to our last destination.

- Did you have fun so far? / - Yes.

Did you have fun?

Where are we going?

I told you we are going to ride something fun.

(He heads to the mountain.)

(The GPS navigation ends here.)

They are on an empty road.

What fun thing will they ride in this rain?

(Jiyong calls someone.)

Seungjae, we've arrived.

(Where are we going?)

(Why won't anyone answer?)

At that moment, a car approaches.

(Who's this?)

A strange man has a secret rendezvous with Jiyong.

(Afterwards, Jiyong follows the strange car.)

They go deeper into the woods.

(They arrive at a remote mountain.)

What will they do in this remote mountain?

It's nice to meet you. Welcome.

It's nice to meet you.

- Are we riding this vehicle? / - Yes.

(They'll ride this vehicle?)

I wanted to try mountain off-roading with Seungjae.

Let's start the off-road tour.

Let's go and see the horses.

- Let's go and see the horses. / - Let's go.

(Tilting)

(It's a rocky start.)

This is fun.

(The bumpy ride)

(excites Jiyong.)

(His mouth opens wide in surprise.)

(They can't make their bodies remain still.)

(Bobbing)

(This looks strangely familiar.)

(It's an old commercial with the Millstone Dance.)

(They are 99.9 percent in sync.)

(He enjoys both the Millstone Dance and off-roading.)

We will go up the valley.

The valley?

Yes. You can see it ahead.

This is the most difficult part of the course.

I am going to hold your hand.

Hold my hand.

(He holds his dad's hand.)

(Off-roading brought them closer.)

This is cool.

- What? / - This is cool.

Seungjae, you're very brave. You aren't afraid.

It's bumpy and fun.

You are brave. How much fun is it?

This much.

- That much? / - It's this much fun.

- It's bumpy. / - I know, right?

It can go down easily.

(Rattling,)

(the vehicle goes across the valley.)

(They see horses.)

Seungjae, do you see the horses?

They are wild horses.

Look at the horses.

(A lot of horses are eating.)

Aren't they calves?

- They are foals. / - Foals.

They aren't calves.

Is that a foal, too?

The white one is a foal.

Are these horses?

- What? / - Are these horses?

Yes.

One horse is approaching us.

What is the horse eating?

I want to try it.

- Give it to the horse. / - Seungjae, give it a try.

Throw it to the horse.

(Throwing)

(I will enjoy it, Seungjae.)

(Proud)

- The horse is enjoying it. / - Yes.

(He gives another carrot.)

They are eating well.

I want to throw another one.

There you go.

The horses are eating well.

Throw it.

(He steps backwards.)

(When the horses come close,)

(he flinches.)

(He puts distance between them.)

It's safe to stand close to them.

I was scared.

My goodness.

One horse is coming this way.

(Seungjae, let's go.)

Horses. Horses.

- No. Let's go now. / - Horses.

Let's go now.

(Crying)

I want to see the horses.

Are you sad to say goodbye to the horses?

- I want to see the horses so much. / - I see.

Don't cry. Big boys don't cry.

(He stops crying to be a big boy.)

Horses don't cry.

No. Stop crying.

- We are back. / - Thank you.

Let's go say goodbye.

(They say goodbye to people in the guest house.)

- Hello. / - Hi.

- Hello. / - Hello, Seungjae.

Did you have a good night's sleep?

What's on my back?

What's on Seungjae's back?

I have Stegosaurus on my back.

Stegosaurus has plates on its back

and it's fat.

Thank you so much for treating us nicely.

How about we take a picture together?

(Running)

Come down.

(When Jiyong catches him,)

(he runs away again.)

I will build Hansel and Gretel's house.

Seungjae, come here.

I will build Hansel and Gretel's house.

Seungjae.

I will take a video of you.

What are you doing?

Hansel and Gretel's house.

- You will build a house. / - Yes.

I will build a house for you.

(Please hurry up and build it.)

That's right. Come over here.

Seungjae, look at me.

In one, two, three.

(Clicking)

Which picture should I print?

- It's pretty. / - Yes, it's a good picture.

- Please take one each. / - Thank you.

- I will keep it. / - Thank you.

It's a bad picture of Seungjae.

He is showing the back of his head.

Perhaps I should write his name on the picture.

(I will take it better next time.)

- Bye. / - Bye.

I will come back after I become a big boy.

What did you enjoy the most in Jeju Island?

The horses.

- The horses? / - Yes.

Octopus.

- We went to catch octopus. / - Yes.

Dad is the best, right?

Mom is the best.

Mom is the best. I love her the most.

Dad isn't the best. Mom is the best.

Seungjae is the best.

Dad is the best.

(You're the best, Dad.)

Seungjae can speak fluently with a foreigner? [The Return of Superman / 2017.05.14] - Duration: 10:08.

We're at Garosu-gil. Where are we?

- Garosu-gil. / - Yes.

There are a lot of cool aunties and uncles here.

Garosu-gil.

Garosu-gil?

What do they have here?

Cool uncles.

I got a spring suit tailored.

I went to pick it up with Seungjae for our date.

This place is full of accessories for gentlemen.

(Jiyong will teach Seungjae about being a gentleman.)

(They're visiting together.)

This way, this way.

Hello.

Hello.

Hello.

- I came to pick up my suit. / - Yes.

- What is your name again? / - Ko Jiyong.

One moment, please.

- I'll go check. Please take a look around. / - Okay.

Who is that? He's exactly your height.

Hello, friend. Your glasses are cool.

(Seungjae is so friendly, he befriends mannequins.)

What color do you like?

This one.

(Should I try it on?)

How is the size?

- I think it fits. / - It's okay, right?

(It's not Jiyong's style.)

Hang on.

Wait.

This one is nice. Do you want to try it?

It's hard to pull off white pants with a pink shirt.

Why don't you give this a try?

- I think I need the smallest size. / - Okay.

Seungjae, play there.

(Don't worry about me.)

(Jiyong is dressed for combat babysitting.)

(How will he transform?)

Dad, come out.

I'm coming out.

It looks good on him.

How do I look?

(You look cool.)

- Do the pants fit? / - Yes.

(Jiyong looks at it in detail.)

(Something is missing.)

This kind of color...

(He chooses a very unique melon color.)

Let's try that color.

(He goes into the changing room again.)

(Curious)

I'm going in, too.

(What's so good about going in here?)

I'm in here.

I'm here.

I'm right here.

Peek-a-boo.

- Peek-a-boo. / - Seungjae.

(Opening)

- Seungjae. / - Peek-a-boo.

(He's busy playing peek-a-boo.)

- I'm not here. / - Let me pass you a shirt.

Okay.

(Impatient Seungjae leaves the changing room.)

What's this?

What is this?

Seungjae.

Dad.

I'm coming out.

(He's playing with the mirror this time.)

(It opens.)

(Jiyong comes out in a pair of melon colored pants.)

How is the size?

Seungjae.

How do I look? Seungjae?

I don't know.

Come here. Choose a tie for me.

What would look good on me?

(He successfully lures Seungjae in.)

- This one? / - Yes.

- This one? / - Yes.

He actually chose one that goes with the outfit.

(With an eye for trendy clothes, he's good with ties.)

(This is what makes a man really charming.)

This is the tie you chose.

How do you like it?

Seungjae, how do I look?

How do I look?

(He's not running to Jiyong.)

(He's interested in his mannequin friend.)

Do you want to try this on?

Do you want to wear it to go to work with me?

- Yes. / - Okay.

- Do you want to try it? / - Yes.

(The mannequin is being undressed.)

(Are you cold?)

Doesn't he look strange?

- Is he getting a bath? / - Yes, he is.

- Have a nice bath. / - Okay.

(They go into the changing room together.)

(Seungjae is dressed like a mischievous boy.)

Seungjae is wearing cheerful clothes.

I wonder how he'll look after.

(Ta-da)

Let's see.

- Do you look good? / - Yes.

- Do you look good? / - Yes.

You look like a gentleman.

(He can't take his eyes off.)

(I'm in love with myself.)

Seungjae must really like it.

The little gentleman Seungjae looks good.

From a mischievous boy, he became a dandy intern.

With his newly tailored suit, he's ready for work.

(Jiyong's spring fashion recommendations)

- Let's go. / - Are we getting yummy food?

Yes, we'll go eat something delicious.

We're at Garosu-gil.

You've never been here before, right?

No.

Isn't that Ko Jiyong's son?

Hello.

Aren't there a lot of good looking people?

Did you see?

Where are the cool aunties and uncles?

- What? / - Where are they?

They're everywhere.

- What? / - They're over there.

Look. Look at the front.

They're not the three little pigs.

There are just two of them.

I want to touch it.

I wonder where the third one is.

Here.

Hello, pigs.

I'm Seungjae. Who are you?

Does the wolf come by?

- Did the wolf come? / - What?

Did the wolf come?

You should protect the wolf here.

No, I have to protect the three little pigs.

The wolf is coming now.

Are you going to protect them?

Yes.

(Manly)

As the brave Seungjae protects them...

(Honking)

What?

People are coming out.

Bye, pigs.

- Stay healthy. / - Pig...

(What did he find this time?)

- Pig snouts. / - Are those pig snouts?

- Bye, pigs. / - Bye, pigs.

(Hopping)

We're going to go eat something yummy.

This doesn't have anything yummy.

This has something yummy.

(He's so excited to eat.)

What do you want to drink?

- Hot chocolate. / - Hello.

- Hot chocolate? Hello. / - Hello.

(There is a foreigner couple beside them.)

Hi.

Hello.

What's your name?

- Seungjae. / - Seungjae?

How old is he?

Four. He's four years old.

- He's so cute. / - Thank you.

- She says you're cute. / - Thank you.

So cute.

Is it a father-and-son day today?

Well... Yes.

Hi. This is water magic.

(He's just saying anything he knows.)

(He's so cute!)

What?

(English is not a problem.)

Thank you.

Dad, cool it for me.

Are you filming right now?

- Are you filming right now? / - I have hot chocolate.

- What? / - Are you filming?

Yes.

What for?

The Return of Superman. Do you know it?

- No. / - No.

(We haven't been in Korea for long.)

Is it with your son that you do the show?

Do you do the show with your son?

It's hot!

(It's too hot!)

(You can't take your eyes off for a second.)

(Hurry up and cool it for me.)

- Sorry. / - What is it?

That's okay.

What's this? What is this, Dad?

- It's a coaster. / - A coaster?

- What's this? / - That's a tissue.

- What's this? / - A coaster.

Dong-gook suddenly becomes an old man? [The Return of Superman / 2017.05.14] - Duration: 15:53.

(AD 2057)

(It's another ordinary morning for the five siblings.)

Sian boasts an incredibly large belly.

The baby is about to come out.

(Is Sian about to give birth?)

My baby.

(He lets out a burst of strength.)

(Is this Sian's first childbirth?)

Where did Dad go?

(My precious Sian Junior.)

My baby.

(Come play with us.)

(Exclaiming)

You little rascals.

Who is being so loud?

(Oh, my.)

As you can see,

I have gotten old.

From now on, this old man is your Dad.

I'll be your Dad from now on, okay?

(What in the world has happened?)

With the passage of time, aging is inevitable.

I was curious to see

how the children would react to me aging.

It's mid-season for soccer right now, so it's tiring.

I thought of more relaxing ways to deal with the kids.

I figured they'd help more if I became a grandpa.

I'm applying makeup to get older, not younger.

Try this. Your hair will turn white.

(He transforms into an elder with his wife's help.)

You look like a grandpa already.

Do you think they'll recognize you?

I think we need more wrinkles here.

It looks very natural.

It's almost complete. You're already a grandpa.

- Really? / - Yes, it looks real.

(It's perfect.)

Gosh, I've aged in seconds.

(He jumped a few decades in an instant.)

It's done.

(He completes the look with glasses and hanbok.)

Seola. How's that?

- Seola. / - Stoop a bit more.

A bit further.

- Sua. / - Put your hand behind your back.

(He looks 40 years older.)

This is too funny. I can't do this.

What will I do?

(Donggook's time travel begins.)

(His head bobs side-to-side.)

It's Dad.

I've become an old man.

- But it's you. / - It's you, Dad.

Stop moving, children. I'm getting dizzy.

Stop moving.

- I think it's Dad. / - Gosh, my back.

Gosh. Who will massage my back for me?

- I'll do it. / - My back hurts.

Please massage my shoulders, too.

(The children do as they're told.)

(Observation mode, on)

Who is being disobedient?

Grandpa.

Your hair...

Why do you have so much hair?

What is he saying? I can't hear him.

You have something white inside.

That's because I'm wearing a T-shirt.

My outfit made me old.

This looks just like Grandma's clothes.

You're right.

I've gotten old.

But why is your voice becoming just like Dad's?

My voice...

(He got caught off guard.)

My goodness.

I'm suddenly thirsty. Who will get me some water?

- Me. / - Okay. Please bring me some water.

- Seola surprised me with that question. / - Grandpa.

What should I do? My voice...

(The anxiety of getting caught makes him fidget.)

We got water for you.

Oh, my. Thank you very much.

Oh, no.

This is too heavy for me.

- Please help me drink some water. / - Okay.

(They're working hard.)

(Despite their doubts, they make an effort to help.)

Now, please sit and gather around.

Younger Dad isn't coming back.

Grandpa Dad is here to stay.

(Is our Dad not coming back?)

I'm your Dad. Do you understand?

Grandpa?

No, I'm your father. I just got old.

Please bring back our Dad.

I'm still here. I'm just old now.

Younger Dad isn't coming back.

Grandpa Dad is here to stay.

Please bring back our Dad.

If you all behave, he will come back.

Otherwise, he might never come back.

You're always fighting. Sian, too.

(The two sisters are in deep sadness.)

I will behave from now on.

I will behave.

(He repeats after his sister.)

See that? Sian is acting.

(Caught red-handed)

(Have I been caught?)

Your Dad knows everything.

(You can fool a ghost, but you can't fool Donggook.)

All right. Would you like a horseback ride?

(He suddenly gets up.)

(The two sisters thoughtfully refuse.)

Your back will hurt.

Sian, didn't you stand up to get a ride?

(Can I get a ride, then?)

You got up to get a ride, right?

All right. Since that's what you want, Sian...

(Taken aback)

Gosh, my back.

(Falling)

(That was like a Hollywood action stunt.)

Gosh, my back hurts.

(What is wrong with you?)

Sian, get off.

Gosh, my back.

Since Sian hopped on, I'm drained.

My back hurts.

(Dad, have you really gotten old?)

(Just a few days ago, Donggook was in top shape.)

(Carrying the three of them was easy.)

(Dad was certainly strong not too long ago.)

(But now, he is weak and old.)

Do you understand?

Don't cry now.

(Where is our Dad?)

What's the matter?

Do I seem fake?

- Dad. / - Yes, I'm your dad.

Dad.

Didn't I tell you that men don't cry?

Didn't I say that you have to be strong?

Is it okay to cry or not?

(Sian is tearing up.)

You shouldn't cry.

Did I say it's okay for men to cry or not?

It's not okay.

That's right. You have to be strong. Don't cry.

Look, a tear is about to drop.

(Eventually, tears begin to fall.)

What should you do? Wipe it quickly.

Make sure no one sees. There you go.

We will feed you medicine.

We will take care of you.

- All right. Then we... / - Dad.

(I will take care of you, too.)

- You're all a strong bunch. / - Dad, look.

The Return of Superman, episode 181.

"If I Can Love More Than I Can Express".

(The siblings head out to take a walk.)

- Thank you very much. / - This way, Dad.

- Come on, Dad. / - Goodness.

(Oh, no. He can't fall behind like this.)

- What should I do? / - Dad.

- I should take it slow. / - I was worried.

I have to walk slowly.

Let's head to the playground.

- Are you supporting me, Sian? / - Yes.

Dad.

Dad, the playground is over there.

(Sian is instantly excited.)

(Exclaiming)

(Sian runs to the playground.)

Are you helping me, Sua?

(Seola has already arrived at the playground.)

(Sua dutifully helps her father.)

Are you helping me, Sua?

Walk carefully, Dad.

(It's the playground!)

(She doesn't let go of his hand.)

I walk too slowly. Don't you want to go play?

I do.

This is scary.

I'll hold you.

Come on. Just like that.

(With Seola's help, he climbs up alone.)

Sian, you're doing great.

- You can do it. / - You're doing great.

- Hold on. / - Hold on.

You got it.

- Sian, you did a great job. / - He did it.

(He successfully climbs up alone.)

(I did it!)

- Are you going to push me? / - Yes.

- All right. / - Sian.

Goodness. Seola, you're pushing me all alone.

Dad, are you okay?

- My back is aching. / - That was scary.

- Thank you so much, Seola. / - Okay.

Seola, get on next to me. Shall I push you?

- Yes. / - Would you like that?

- Yes. / - Get on, then.

All right. I'll push you. Here we go.

(But unlike before, he's weak.)

I can't push you well because I'm so weak.

(He struggles to push with his cane.)

I used to push so well when I was younger.

- I know. / - Right?

Dad, you've become so light.

(Dad has become so frail.)

It's because I'm old.

- Grandpa. / - That's right. I'm a grandpa now.

- Are you scared? / - I should get off.

I have to get off.

Don't worry, Sian. I'll hold you.

(Donggook has a lot on his mind today.)

(He slides straight down.)

(It's a soccer ball.)

I want to kick the ball.

Sian, Dad will kick the ball, okay?

- Dad will... / - Let's do it together.

I'm is too tired to kick the ball.

Goodness.

I used to be good at this.

(He was once a very talented soccer player.)

(Kick it hard, Dad.)

My goodness.

(My goodness.)

(Grandpa falls after missing the ball.)

Dad.

Oh, no. Grandpa Dad.

(Gosh. You should've been careful.)

(Pulling with all his might)

(Seola also rushes to his aid.)

(The three siblings pull together to help him up.)

Dad.

- Get up. / - My gosh.

(After safely getting him up...)

(I'll go play now, Dad.)

(Seola follows him.)

They're so thoughtful of their tired father.

They're playing by themselves.

(Meanwhile,)

(Donggook starts juggling the ball.)

(He's very good.)

I had to pretend I couldn't do this.

(It must've been frustrating for you.)

(Shall I pay my sisters a visit?)

(He quickly becomes a grandpa again.)

Hey there, Sian.

(The siblings are all on the swings.)

(He jumps over in front of them.)

(They are too busy playing to notice.)

I don't think you need the Younger Dad anymore.

This is exciting, Grandpa Dad.

I'm too tired to express excitement.

Now give Sua a push.

Seola, who is that grandpa?

(This person?)

Who?

That person.

Who are you talking about? Me?

(Are you referring to me?)

Gosh. Who am I?

(How will she reply?)

- He's our dad. / - That's right.

Did you forget about our dad?

Why is your dad such a grandpa?

He just got old.

Are you ashamed because I'm so old?

(Donggook asks if they're ashamed.)

- No. / - Okay. Do you not like me because I'm old?

(We are not ashamed because you are our dad.)

Do you not like me because I'm so weak?

He's our dad.

(No matter what, he is our dad.)

Despite his transformation, their love hasn't changed.

It's so touching.

Sua, I'm sorry for not being as energetic.

- Are you all right? / - It's all right.

Sua, even if I'm old and frail,

you'll keep loving me, right?

(In their hearts,)

(the children long to always be with him.)

Please bring him back.

Please bring him back.

Thanks to the children's sincerity,

Donggook returns to his normal self.

(His children's sincerity brings him back.)

My dear puppies!

(It's Dad!)

Hey, guys. I can lift you up like this now.

I'm back to my stronger self.

I'm back.

(He shows off his strength to celebrate his return.)

Seola. What would you like?

(They each receive a kiss as a gift.)

All right. Now, hop on.

I'm strong again. Hurry and hop on.

You too, Sian.

My back is okay now. Get on.

Who will take Sian's place?

- Who is going to get on first? / - I will.

Get on the middle, Sian.

(Sua suddenly walks into the room.)

Hey, Sua.

(She searches the room thoroughly.)

All right. You don't have to get on.

Sua.

Sua.

(I knew it.)

Dad, you were wearing those clothes.

You didn't transform.

- What? / - I saw it.

I saw the clothes that made you look like a grandpa.

(I saw the clothes that made you look old.)

What clothes?

I just transformed back from being a grandpa.

(Seola discovers solid evidence.)

It seems he's been caught.

(Seola discovers solid evidence.)

See? It's right here.

You were wearing these.

But I transformed as soon as I took them off.

I transformed to my old self in an instant.

I didn't like you being a grandpa.

(I didn't like it.)

Come here. Isn't it nice to have me back?

(Isn't it nice to have your dad back?)

Honestly, I didn't think they'd get that sad.

My transformation really affected them.

When they asked for me to return,

I felt a bit sorry.

They supported me when I acted weak.

I even received a massage. It was touching.

Aging can't be stopped.

Though I may grow old one day,

I want to always maintain my current mindset.

I want to watch over them until the end.

Soda siblings turn up at a baseball stadium!! The Return of Superman / 2017.05.14] - Duration: 11:26.

(Until the East Sea's waters and Mount Baekdu)

(Are dry and worn away)

Three, four.

(They're singing the national anthem together.)

(Hurray to our country)

Good job.

Every time you sing the national anthem,

you need sing with a loving heart towards our country.

- Okay. / - Okay.

I recently got an offer from Nexen Heroes.

They wanted Soeul and Daeul to sing the national anthem

and pitch the first ball.

(Singing the national anthem)

(before a sports match is a very important duty.)

Soeul will be carrying out this important duty.

- I'll be by your side. / - Okay.

So don't worry and just have fun.

- Okay. / - Okay.

(Gocheok Sky Dome)

(Who is greeting Bumsoo and his kids?)

- Hello. Nice to meet you. / - Hello.

(They are the mascots of the Heroes.)

Hello.

(Am I dreaming?)

It's a robot.

Hello.

Look at the robot.

- This is Dongeuli. / - Dongeuli.

- This is Tuckdori. / - Tuckdori.

This is a dome stadium, so his name is Dom DomI.

- Dom DomI? / - Yes.

Hello. It's nice to meet you.

Say hello. Hello.

- What's your name? / - Soeul.

Soeul? Nice to meet you.

(Soeul learns how to pitch a ball.)

(She learns)

(very quickly.)

(She throws the ball far away.)

Good job.

Good job. That's how you do it.

(She must've learned a few things from here and there.)

(Her posture is pretty decent.)

(Did she just throw a curve ball?)

(She throws every ball sincerely.)

(Did you practice behind my back, Soeul?)

You're doing great, Soeul.

(While Soeul's doing her best...)

While Soeul practices diligently, Daeul is...

(He turns on his mischievous side.)

(Mumbling)

He's going to get you. He's on his way.

(He escapes like a squirrel.)

I'm here too, Daeul.

Come here. Come here.

(He escapes like an eel.)

(Creaking)

(Daeul is talented at base running.)

(Shall I start practicing now?)

(Who will teach Daeul to bat?)

Hold it like this.

When your sister pitches the ball,

you need to swing the bat like this and hit the ball.

(He's Lee Junghoo, the son of Lee Jongbum.)

Daeul, you can do it, right?

Are you ready? She's going to throw now.

(Take my pitch.)

(He swings powerfully.)

You almost got it.

You almost got it.

(What is this?)

You can do it.

(The grandson of the wind is gone with the wind.)

Bye.

(Daeul needs to practice a little more.)

(So Dom DomI the robot comes to his rescue.)

That's right.

(He tries to bunt.)

Good job!

(It's a new trick called reverse swinging.)

Good job!

(Confused)

The players will sign a baseball for the kids.

I see. Thank you.

(For Soeul and Daeul)

- Do you have more? / - Yes. One more.

- There are 3 people. / - Is there 1 more person?

There are three people.

- We have one more. / - Yes, we do.

There are three people.

(Whining)

Please write, "To Tiger" on my baseball.

- Tiger? / - Yes.

(To Tiger)

It's a present for you guys from Van Hekken.

- Thank you. / - You're welcome.

- Thank you. / - Good job.

Thank you.

- Thank you. / - No problem.

(He's shy.)

(He laughs off the embarrassment.)

(Dom DomI dances for them to help them relax.)

(Nervous)

(Relax, Soeul.)

(Turning)

(Bumsoo also gets excited.)

(They are today's pitcher and batter.)

(I, Dom DomI, will escort you to the dome.)

It's already time for the match.

I don't think I'm ready to sing.

Are you nervous?

(She reads the lyrics again and again.)

Soeul, you can do well, right?

(Bumsoo tries to give her strength.)

(She nervously enters the stadium.)

Can you see the microphone over there?

You can start singing when I say, "Go".

Okay.

(The seats start to fill up.)

Follow me.

(She has to go alone from here.)

Soeul, you can do it!

The nerve-racking moment is finally here.

Can Soeul do a good job?

(I need to take a photo of this.)

(She needs to sing without any accompaniment.)

(Nervous)

(The Pledge of Allegiance, Lee Soeul)

Lee Bumsoo's daughter, Lee Soeul will sing for us.

(It's time, Soeul!)

(Until the East Sea's waters and Mount Baekdu)

(Are dry and worn away)

(She sings perfectly in tune.)

(Hurray to our country)

(The national anthem sung by Soeul)

(spreads throughout the whole stadium.)

(She's very calm.)

(Great Korean People)

(Stay true to the great Korean way)

(Applause)

Soeul, you did a very good job.

Even professional singers have trouble

singing without a melody.

Good job, Soeul. I'm proud of you.

(Soeul managed to fight the tension.)

Now, Lee Daeul

will get ready to bat the ball.

(The pitcher and batter enter the field.)

Hold my hand. Do it confidently.

(Having to pitch the ball is also very nerve-racking.)

You can pitch the ball when I say, "Play".

- Okay. / - Got it?

(Daeul and Bumsoo are ready.)

Play!

(She sincerely sends out a sign.)

(As soon as she's about the throw the ball,)

(she remembers that she needs to hold her leg up.)

(She attempts to do a windup.)

(Now is the time!)

(She confidently pitches the ball.)

(Daeul bats the ball unconsciously.)

I've seen Soeul on TV, and she's very smart.

She didn't learn how to do a proper windup.

- That was cute. / - My goodness.

(The baseball match finally begins.)

(They are proud.)

(The cheerleaders cheer for their team.)

Now it's time to enjoy the match.

Soeul and Daeul are having fun cheering.

(Bumsoo also cheers excitedly.)

(Face-off with the Heroes)

(Face-off event)

(What is that?)

(Do they give us presents?)

You need to follow the facial expressions.

Let's go!

(They need to imitate the facial expression.)

Let's see how well you can do it.

Okay. Great.

Let's see who's next.

It's Lee Bumsoo.

(You can do it, Dad!)

(Laughing)

Let's see what's inside the box.

So this is what he needs to imitate.

(It's a photo of a sullen Daeul.)

(I can't believe this.)

(I am the original Bumsoo.)

Okay. That was great.

Daeul, you're probably going to be next.

Show us who's next. This will be the last one.

(The last person to get chosen is Soeul.)

Let's see what's in box number two.

Let's see who she will kiss on the cheek.

(She quickly gives Daeul a peck on the cheek.)

(I love you, Daeul!)

(Everyone became excited thanks to the event.)

(She follows the photo like a decalcomania.)

- Soeul. / - Yes?

Weren't you nervous when you sang the national anthem?

- I was nervous. / - You did a great job.

I cried while I sang.

- Why? / - Because I was nervous.

You cried because you were nervous? You did great.

Daeul, do you think Soeul sang well?

She was great, right?

(Thank you, my brother.)

Soeul,

when I shot the movie "Superstar Mr. Gam",

I practiced pitching the ball so many times.

Bumsoo is a legendary pitcher

who has a lot of experience on the mound.

("The Goblin" was his rival.)

With Gong Yoo as his rival,

he used to play pretty tenaciously.

My shoulder hurt later on. Was it okay for you?

Really? Good job.

Daeul,

didn't Soeul do a good job pitching the ball?

What do you think?

(You're the best.)

(I give you my acknowledgement.)

Are you saying you and I did well?

Then what about Dad?

Did I do a bad job?

(How can you betray me like this?)

10 WORST JOBS IN HISTORY - Duration: 6:59.

Our respective jobs can often be tedious for all of us.

However, there were certain jobs in history that weren't just hard, but downright absurd,

horrendous and disgraceful.

Here, we look at 10 of the worst jobs from history.

Number 10.

Egyptian Mummifier: Artificial preservation of the corpse, or

mummification, was a prevalent custom in ancient Egypt.

Mummifiers were, hence, much in demand in those days.

To mummify the corpses, they had to remove and wash their internal organs.

The mummifiers also had to then remove the brains from the corpses by shoving a hook

up its nose and extract the remains.

This gross process took weeks, sometimes even months, to prepare.

Unfortunately, Egyptian Mummifiers were looked down upon and were shunned from their communities

as they dealt with dead bodies.

Number 9.

Sin-eater:

The job of a sin-eater, traditionally performed in the 19th century, required one to help

cleanse the dying person's soul.

While this may not sound too bad in concept, in reality this job was very disturbing.

They had to eat beside the corpse and thereby take the sins of the dead person upon themselves.

The sin-eaters lived in poverty, were considered as outcasts, and were shunned by almost everyone.

They were only summoned when someone had died.

Moreover, the sin-eaters would get paid in ridiculously small amounts even while they

'absorbed' all the sins of the dead person through intricate rituals and eating and drinking

near their bedsides.

Number 8.

Tanner: Tanners played a vital role in preserving

the hides of animals that was used in manufactured goods.

The tanners had to remove the hair from the animal skin by soaking it in urine or letting

it hang to rot before cutting it with a knife.

To soften the hide further, the tanner had to re-immerse the cleaned hide in a pit of

water that contained dog feces.

It was hence a truly revolting and foul-smelling job.

Despite doing a very important job, leather tanners were often looked down upon.

Number 7.

Leech collector:

Leeches were in great demand in the late 19th century for medicinal purposes.

A leech collector's job was to plow through leech-infested marshes and collect as many

leeches as possible each day.

Although the demand for leech collectors was high, they were paid abysmally.

What was worse was the often these people had to collect leeches  . This was highly

dangerous as it meant the leech collectors would lose a lot of blood in the process.

Number 6.

Whipping Boy: A truly absurd and cruel job was that of a

whipping boy.

In early modern England, a young prince was usually assigned a playmate who would also

be his whipping boy.

Meaning, he would be the stand-in for taking all the physical punishment handed out for

the prince's misdemeanors.

What was even crueler was that the whipping boy would even be allowed to forge a strong

bond with the prince and would also be educated along with him.

Number 5.

Resurrectionist:

During the 18th and 19th centuries, Resurrectionists, also sometimes called as body snatchers, were

paid to supply fresh corpses for medical study in universities.

In those times just a set of teeth was worth a lot of money.

For getting the corpses, the resurrectionists had to tunnel into the graves from a little

distance to avoid disturbing the ground.

Once done, they had to drag the lifeless bodies out from the graves with a rope.

The resurrectionists also had to ensure that no personal possessions of the corpses were

lost or stolen in the process as that would have meant committing felony.

Number 4.

Bone grubber:  This disgusting job required the bone grubbers

to scavenge for decaying bones from butchers, garbage piles, and stockyards and then sell

them to traders.

Also called as the 'Rag-and-bone man', the bone grubber usually lived in extreme

poverty and sometimes had to wade through sewers at low tide and search for bone fragments

found in the gutters.

These bones would then be used for creating personal items.

Number 3.

Petardier's Assistant: This was a really hazardous and life-threatening

job.

In early wars, especially during the Civil War, a person would be assigned the role of

attaching very simple and primitive explosive devices – also called as petards - to enemy

targets.

After attaching the device, the Petardier's assistant had to light the fuse and run away

to safety.

More often than not, this job would result in the death or lead to some gruesome injuries

to the Petardier's assistant.

Number 2.

Barber Surgeon: Barbers in the middle ages weren't just

required to cut hair.

They were also assigned to perform a lot of surgical procedures which most physicians

considered as dreadful and disgraceful.

The barber surgeons, apart from trimming hair, had to perform amputations, enemas, blood-letting

and even tooth-pulling.

All this was done without any modern anesthetic.

Performing amputations was the most horrid job for barber surgeons as it involved rolling

the skin back from the crushed limb and using a knife to cut all of the flesh and muscle

from around the bone.

All this while, the patient would be screaming in agony.

Number 1.

Groom of Stool: For several centuries, kings used to consider

wiping their own bottoms inappropriate.

Hence, a Groom of Stool would be appointed for them.

]This was supposedly an esteemed position, even though it was highly humiliating.

The groom of stool would be required to bring the toilet chair whenever the king needed

it and then wipe his behind when he was done with his job.

He would then be required to collect the king's stool and properly examine it for checking

his health and also administer an enema should the king feel constipated.

VLOG 004 | LAW OF ATTRACTION - Duration: 4:11.

Hi everyone. Today I would like to talk about "The Law Of Attraction"

Let's start with a quote of Napoleon Hill. Napoleon Hill said

'Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve'

Personally I really like this quote

During this video I will give you some examples how I am applying the Law of Attraction and what the results were

I'm really convinced that your believe of how far you can go, THAT'S the limit you impose on yourself

If you would say: 'I can climb the Mount Evererest', then I know that you WILL be able to do it

But let's say, you are looking for a job and you say:'There are no jobs, the economy sucks, everything just sucks'... then you know it will be tough to find a job.

But the moment you say:'I think I can do this or this, I am smart, my CV is great, I am eager to do well, I will go all-in to reach my goal'

then you know energy will flow to you which allow you to easily reach your goals, in this case 'finding a job'.

What will happen? You will see: you will write 30 cover letters each day, you will call all recruiters, people will cross your pathway that can help.

Simply said, THIS is the manifestion of What you think, what you think you can do..that will manifest itself in the [physical] reality

And we can explain this also in a different way, if you say 'I want to buy this new shoe' (and you know which one)...then all of the sudden you notice this shoe all over the place whilst you walk through the streets

Or if you say 'I want to buy this new car', exactly the same. You only notice this new car you want to buy. The same applies to a bag or a jeans

It can also apply to other things, not materialistic, such as:'I want to become an entrepreneur' and you will see people registering their firms at the Chamber of Commerce

Or if you say I would like to travel through South America or Africa, all of the sudden you hear stories about people who went to Mexico, Peru or Colombia and you think this is 'by accident'.

But this is not 'by accident'. This is again the result of you focusing on something, and as a result you open up yourself for this thing and put all your energy and thoughts into this

If I say:'I want to do the muscle up'. (The muscle up is a specific exercise in Gymnastics') My steps towards reaching this goal were as follows:

I visualized myself already having achieved it. I was feeling it, breathing it, I saw myself doing it. I felt how it would feel like if it were already achieved. And this is putting focus towards your goal

It's something you can do too!

The Law of Attraction for me means...The things I focus on is what will manifest in [my] reality

Going back to the earlier example of job searching...If you are looking for a job you could say...(You visualize you are looking for a job or it is already done)...

The trick is to BE AS CONRETE AND SPECIFIC AS POSSIBLE.

So you can say:'I am looking for a job in the IT sector as a backend developer at a fast-growing startup in the Fintech sector'

If you visualize this EVERY day, it doesn't matter, in the morning, afternoon, evening or during the night, then you will see energy will flow towards you to reach your goal

And then you will notice a lot of vacancies are open or you meet certain people who can help you further

As I said, it is important to be as concrete and specific as possible, but also you need the mindset that you set yourself a goal and there's nothing that can stop you from NOT reaching it, indeed, you already reached it!

The moment you start implementing [this mindset] in your visualization you will see things will manifest for you!

STUDY SUNDAY: Improving your art through referencing - Duration: 11:04.

Hi, guys! Welcome back to my channel and

if you're new here... Hi, my name is Heather

and I like to draw stuff. So I decided to

make a new series on my channel starting

today and it's going to be called "Study

Sunday" and it's going to be basically my

time to work on my art... where I do some

kind of study whether it's trying to

draw from a photograph or do a master

study or maybe studying anatomy or

something like that and I'll just talk

you guys through my process and

different ways that you can improve your

artwork, things that I've found, obviously

I'm still learning and I'm still trying

to improve but these are just tricks I

found that really help. So today I'm

going to start out by trying to paint

from a portrait that I found online. I

couldn't find the photographer's name

but I'll have the model information linked

down below from what I could find. This

is definitely one way to greatly improve

your art is to take realistic photos and

try to paint from them, but I don't

recommend using any kind of eyedropper

tool when you do this. It's really

important to learn how to see color and

see value on your own, so being able to

pick up those colors is really great. If

you do need to use the eyedropper tool

to kind of see what the color looks like

and then try to find that on your own

that's perfectly fine but definitely

trying to pick those out, and the same

thing with sketching, definitely, I don't

recommend tracing. It can be helpful in

some situations but just trying to match

them up the best that you can will help

enormously in my experience. So I started

out by picking a portrait of a male that

I found because I'm typically

comfortable with drawing women my age

and who look like me, so I wanted to kind

of go outside of that

zone. It helps a lot if you pick an image

that is kind of grayscale and you

definitely want something with strong

lighting- that's going to make it a lot

easier to pick shadows out. Something

that has very even lighting is going to

be pretty flat and harder to duplicate.

So I start out drawing with just a round

flat brush- it's like the standard in

Photoshop- I don't want to add any kind

of texture, filters, that kind of stuff

that's just going to be distracting. I

just want to focus on the fundamentals

of drawing and painting, and I'm just

going to start with a loose sketch and

try to get the real like basic shapes of

this guy's face, and one way that I find

really helps is adding guidelines for

yourself. So like you can see me drawing

these horizontal lines and it's

basically lining up- I noticed that his

ear kind of lines up with about midway

on his forehead so I kind of draw a line

and it gives me a sort of a guideline.

The same thing with the bottom of his

ear seems to line up with about the

bridge of his nose and so on and so forth.

I find that it's really important to

establish a strong sketch before you

start painting. If you start painting

right away and you kind of get ahead of

yourself and it's going to be really

hard to correct those issues when you

run across them later. In my experience I

found that anatomical issues are really

difficult to correct once you've started

actually painting, so I definitely

recommend getting the sketch down.

Don't be afraid to spend a lot of time

on the sketch and really refine it and

make sure that you've corrected any of

those issues. You'll also see me flipping

the images in this and that's a way to

get a really clear view of what you're

working with. You kind of get used to

what you're looking at while you draw, so

it helps to kind of flip the image

because you'll get a clearer perspective

on it, especially if you flip both your

image and the reference image, it just

gives you a clearer perspective. If

you're drawing traditionally what I was

taught to do is actually flip your

entire image upside down when you're

drawing and the same with your reference

image. It'll look really weird to

you at first but that's how you can

really spot those big errors. Next,

I'm just going to go into a layer under

the sketch and I'm going to paint the

whole thing with the darkest value that I

can find on his face. I just went with a really

dark gray and then from there I'm going

to lighten that up, so I'm going to just

gradually bring out the lighter tones in

his face. I'm going to go in with a white at

really low opacity, and we're going to just

lightly brush that on and get a nice

gray and then we'll keep adding that

white at a low opacity and building that

up. So I'm going to concentrate on the

larger areas of the face and definitely

don't go into detail yet, you want to

work slowly up to that detail, you want

to work broad to specific so I'm going

to focus on the really bright areas of

his face which is around like his ear,

his neck, and his like cheekbone area and

his jaw. At this point I've merged the two

layers together. I do like to one layer

paint, so after I've established that

color, or value, I guess, underneath the

sketch I'll go ahead and merge them

together so that I can kind of blend in

those sketchy lines into the actual painting

so now I'm going to go in and not get

too specific, but going to be adding

in a little bit more detail around the

eyes, so at the brow bone, the inner

highlighting that a bit. That's going

to give it a little bit more depth,

giving it that kind of detail

and then I'm going to go in with the

eyebrow and kind of make it a bit more

messy instead of just a block of black.

We're going to give it a couple hairs,

that give it like some individual life and

just going to mess with the eye a bit

more. This eye really gave me trouble for some

reason, but I'm adding a bit of

highlight then moving down into the lip

area and the chin, then I'm going to go

in and block in the darkest color which

is the hair. I'm not going to spend

too much time on the hair because this

portrait I really want to try just

making it have a likeness to the model

and I don't really think going in and

adding a ton of detail to the hair is

really necessary, but I do want to get

the basic shapes down and the basic

value of that down. But, again, my

goal is to get a realistic rendering of

the face and a likeness of the figure in

a short amount of time. So I'm just

going to add in the basic shape of the hair-

he had some really wild hair and it was

fun to draw but it was kind of difficult..

♪♪ My Island 3 by Jonatan Järpehag playing

I'm going to take that black and a

darker gray and add in a bit more depth

and value around the nose and really

push those shadows. Once again I'm going

to take that white and now push the

highlight even further on his cheekbone and jaw

and neck and those areas, because our

value is lacking a bit still. Again, doing

these kinds of studies will really help

to improve your artwork because a lot of

these shadows we don't really know how

they look in reality until we study like

a picture or something like that like

the shadow around his eyes- it's

really interesting and I had no idea how

to capture that at first, but that's kind

of how you learn is- you learn how

light falls on different shapes and

you're not going to be able to learn

that without examining reality.

and again I had a big problem with the

nail the sketch

obviously I didn't, but, because it's kind

of difficult to go in there and move

things around once you started painting

and adding a bit more detail. Don't be

afraid to make major changes in a

painting, even if you've started adding a

lot of detail, don't be afraid to go

back and change a major error. It's

really important that you get the

anatomy parts right, because it might

look pretty but if it looks nothing like

the person or it doesn't really look

realistic, people will notice that. It's

really important to not be afraid of the

artwork. It's easy to think something is

good enough or it's looking really nice

so you don't want to go back and change

something but you have to have faith in

your ability as an artist and have faith

that you'll be able to make the change

and go back in and add the same amount

of detail and it will still look just as

good. It's definitely something that I've

noticed that artists are really afraid

to make those kinds of changes once

they're far in a painting, but sometimes

you just have to and in the end it will

definitely look a lot better. I'm just

going to kind of push and pull the

values, the light and darks, especially on

the neck, and that's pretty much it and

I'm just going to finish up here.
