and the reason why I am so happy today is because I am flying to Thailand
and I get to ride a motorcycle, Ducati to be precise
at the Ducati Riding Experience Level 1.
Frankly, I have never ridden a big motorcycle before
and my daily commute is a humble old Activa.
Well this then, is some sort of perk of being a PowerDrift fan.
I was a fan too, I still am
but then I applied for my internship here
and since then it's been one hell of a joyride.
I am hoping that it is the Scrambler 62
for two good reasons
It's the smallest Ducati
that might someday come to India
and two, well it is the smallest Ducati
it's still roughly 8 times as powerful as my activa.
I am so excited to see which bike it is.
Let's find out!
Ok, so this is the itinerary
Then tomorrow morning we have to report for breakfast at 10.40am
followed by an introduction session
and then we head to the track to ride the Ducati...

The Ducati Monster 797!
I am going to be the first ones from India to be riding this
even before Sarge
The 797 was obviously displayed at Eicma first in 2016
and since then a lot of us have been waiting for it to be launched in India.
Yes it is the entry level Monster that we're talking about
but it is still 803cc
it gets no traction control, no riding modes, something that would have helped new riders like me
Thankfully though the seat height is accommodating enough
At 805mm its as tall as the Pulsar 200NS
but on the flipside, it doesn't get adjustable seats
This is where we will be meeting all the DRE coaches and the instructors
and they are going to tell us what to do next.
Okay, so these is the Motorsport Park
This is exactly where the entire track session is going to happen.
Finally it is time to learn how to tame the Monster
I am sure, that if you are looking for your first big motorcycle
then the Monster 797 will make for an interesting choice.
And if you are a noob like me
then do enroll for a DRE session because they are a great confidence booster
and there's so much to learn from them.
So first things first, I am alive
happy and in one piece.
It is surprising how a big machine like this
is so compact
specially when it is in motion
For the first few minutes, I was stunned by how a gorgeous machine like this could be called a Monster
The headlamps are quite similar to the 1200
and well the overall design
is straight out of the Monster handbook.
I know I sound like I am in awe of it.
And frankly, you bet I am,
because despite this being my first time ever on a motorcycle like this
it has been so accommodating.
The handlebars are nice and wide
It was very easy for me to turn the bike
Then the clutch is light enough,
I know I was scared of the 74bhp, and the 68nm of torque
but the way it was delivered was not at all scary for a novice like me
For those who might understand the Naruto reference
it's a monster alright, but one that's friendly and tamable once you get to know it.
You have the same brakes, as on the monster 821.
Which is the same exact unit as the 959.
and although I wasn't even intending to go too fast
it was such a relief to know that I can stop when I want and where I want
Very very quickly.
Then there are things that I really like about this motorcycle
like the under seat USB charger, the full LCD instrument cluster
and there is also the optional Ducati's Multimedia System
which allows you to do things like call, listen to music and even navigate.
Bluetooth for the win!
This has been the best day of my life!
and I will remember this for the times to come!

QiYi MoFangGe Cube Bag (M-Bag) Full Review & First Impressions [Lightake] - Duration: 2:38.
Hello guys, its me CriticalCubing and today we are going to take a closer look at the
Qiyi M Bag.
This is a competition bag that makes carrying your cubes easier in a small, premium looking
bag that you can take anywhere.
It is feature filled and has this glossy looking material which I probably think is nylon.
The bag is black colored with white drawings on the outside which features the different
WCA events.
It also has a strap that you can use for carrying it around.
On the inside, there are different compartments for different purposes.
Starting from the top, we have space alloted for keeping your lubricant, earphones or wires.
On the same side, we have a mesh compartment for keeping misc stuff like extra sd card
so you have a backup if your sd card runs out.
You can also keep your id cards for the comp and etc things like that.
You can keep also keep in this compartment.
Coming onto the other side, here is where the main event starts.
There are 2 compartments here, one with mesh on top of it and there is a pocket in between
for keeping your timer.
It was made specifically with G4 timer in mind, but it can fit other timers also.
In the mesh compartment, you can keep big cubes so they stay nice and snug while you
can keep other smaller cubes in the other compartments.
This bag can hold 2x2 to 7x7 with 1 of each quantity, however this is not that huge of
a bag, so if you have multiple cubes for a certain event, main and backup main, you wouldn't
be able to fit all of them in this small bag.
The bag can fit 5 to 6 3x3's comfortably on each of the 2 compartments to give you a rough
idea of how much space you can accomodate.
Overall, the Qiyi M Bag is a neat, simple and fashionable bag that was specifically
designed with cubers in mind, and Qiyi did a great job with it.
This bag can practically hold everything that you'll need for a competition while making
it look trendy and cool.
I will recommend this to everyone who want a dedicated bag for holding their main puzzles.
This bag makes it easier to store your puzzles and also carry it around.

In Pro Cycling Manager 2017 on PC, you play as the manager of a professional cycling team
competing for victory season after season
In cycling, as in any other field actually, managers have to love their team, their riders, their group above everything else,
but they also have to master every aspect of their job.
They need to be able to anticipate and have an all-around vision.
Outside of the race, you control everything, from the riders' contracts to their objectives,
recruitment, staff, the race calendar, preparation and training routines...
Your primary mission as a manager is making sure your riders reach their top form
right on time to fulfill their objectives as well as preparing a cohesive strategy.
Even if you've established a strategy before the race,
you'll be able and you'll have to react in real-time
to any event that you may encounter during it.
For example, reacting to another leader's attack using your own
or by having your riders form a paceline to counter-attack.
This year, you'll also be able to use these pacelines to take control of the race,
allowing you, for instance, to put your sprinter in the best possible position in the final stretch.

The Trump administration wants to let any employer opt out of paying for employees'
birth control under Obamacare, according to a leaked proposed regulation.
The proposal, if enacted, would significantly roll back Obamacare's birth control mandate
that forces insurance plans to fully cover birth control.
The change would mean employers with a religious or moral objection to birth control can be
exempt from having to cover it in their health plans at no cost to employees.
The draft, dated May 23, would be a major change from the current compromise set up
under the Obama administration.
The administration already allows religious organizations, such as churches, from paying
for birth control.
But the Obama White House set up a compromise accommodation for religious nonprofits such
as universities and charities.
The employees at such organizations would still get birth control, but the government
would pay for it and not the employer.
If the proposed rule were enacted, any organization with a religious or moral objection to birth
control would be fully exempt from the mandate.
The proposed rule says that any closely held or not closely held for-profit company can
get the exemption, a stark change from the prior rule.
The Obama administration's rule gave only closely held for-profit companies, which have
a limited number of shareholders, the option of doing an accommodation if they had an objection
to birth control.
But the Trump administration argues in the leaked rule that the government's interest
in ensuring employees of religious nonprofits receive birth control is "less significant
than previously stated."
The regulation also allows plans to not offer birth control coverage to individuals who
do not want it due to religious or moral objections.
"This individual exemption can apply with respect to individuals in plans sponsored
by either private employers or governmental employers," said the draft, obtained by Vox.
The administration believes that the new rule would lead to more healthcare coverage "because
it will reduce the incidence of certain individuals having health coverage to which they have
a religious or moral objection, which could otherwise act as an obstacle to coverage."
The administration added that it keeps in place the earlier accommodation that has the
government pay for birth control and not the employer.
The original healthcare law sought to force all insurers to cover birth control as a way
to create parity in health insurance costs between women and men, as women had to pay
more for healthcare.
The administration let churches be fully exempt from the mandate, but religiously affiliated
groups and closely held private companies objected that they had to provide birth control.
The administration worked out the accommodation compromise after the Supreme Court upheld
a challenge from the private company Hobby Lobby.
The leaked draft could change before the final version, which is being reviewed by the White
House's Office of Budget and Management.
Any proposed regulation would also include a comment period.

In cycling, as in any other field actually, managers have to love their team, their riders, their group above everything else,
but they also have to master every aspect of their job.
They need to be able to anticipate and have an all-around vision.
Outside of the race, you control everything, from the riders' contracts to their objectives,
recruitment, staff, the race calendar, preparation and training routines...
Your primary mission as a manager is making sure your riders reach their top form
right on time to fulfill their objectives as well as preparing a cohesive strategy.
Even if you've established a strategy before the race,
you'll be able and you'll have to react in real-time
to any event that you may encounter during it.
For example, reacting to another leader's attack using your own
or by having your riders form a paceline to counter-attack.

How to plant Asian greens and cook with carrots - Duration: 9:41.
Hello and welcome to Organic Edible Garden and Kitchen.
Our summer carrot bed which is now smothered with weeds has still got some great carrots in it for eating.
In the kitchen this week I'm going to make a quick Asian pickle using Rob's carrots along with some ginger and fresh turmeric.
This is a great way to enjoy one of our most favourite vegetables.
And later on Nellie's going to join us and talk about the benefits of eating carrots.
And first up, I'm going to plant some Asian greens, pak choi or bok choy, which thrive in the cool weather.
They're one of the fastest-growing leafy green vegetables and are ready in about 4 weeks.
Okay, let's go and pull some of these carrots up for you Megan. Great.
I really rate Asian greens.
They're a brassica and are full of nutrients.
And today we're going to plant some pak chois, otherwise known as bok choy. They're the same thing.
These guys have to grow really quickly, so we have to give them great soil.
Now there was a tomato growing in this bed before so the soil was quite acidic and like most brassicas, these guys like a pH of between 6.5 and 7, so I've given it a good dressing of lime a couple of weeks ago.
I've also added some well-composted chicken manure and some normal compost as well, just to give it that extra boost.
One of the things about the bok choy is that they are big attractants to slugs, snails and birds.
Probably more than any other vegetable we grow.
So we will net this to keep the birds and the butterflies off and we'll set some traps for the slugs and snails.
If you are growing these in your vege garden, they're often a good host trap.
All your bugs will go to that and leave your other vegetables alone.
And one of the reasons I'm growing red pak choi, which is like red kale, is that it's less attractive to the insects.
They seems to always go for the green ones first.
I expect to harvest these guys in about 4 weeks.
And I can pick the leaves off as they're growing, but when they're ready I'll chop them off about an inch above ground level.
I'll get about 5 or 6 little baby pak chois growing on that stump which is a real bonus.
Carrots are something that everybody loves.
It's great to find new ways of serving them up.
This is my simple pickle recipe.
So I'm going to take Rob's carrots that he's grown here.
And top and tail them.
So you could do this with baby carrots as well.
This is a nice size carrot to use.
I don't tend to do this with very large carrots.
Going to give them a quick wash.
Just make sure they're nice and clean 'cos we're going to leave the skin on. Don't need to peel them.
If you're using baby carrots just chop them in half. For these ones I'm going to chop them into quarters.
And place them straight into the jar.
Now also make sure your jar's nice and clean. It's good to give it a little rinse out with some boiling water, just to keep it nice and sterile.
I'm not using a sterilising jar because I'm just keeping these pickles in the fridge.
This is what I call a quick pickle or a quick overnight pickle.
You can chop them to fit, you know for the size to fit in your jar.
And that's all I can fit in that jar. You want to have them nicely packed but it's not essential. You can just make as many as you would like.
The next thing I'm going to do is add a bit of turmeric and ginger in there as well.
So I'm just going to slice that.
And we're not going to eat the ginger, so you want to leave it in quite big chunks.
It's just going to be sitting in the brine to flavour up the carrots.
And the same goes for the turmeric as well.
Take this nice piece here.
Pop some down the sides.
Here we go and the last thing I'm going to pop in the jar is some star anise.
So just a couple of pieces of star anise...
... sitting on top there.
Okay, next I'm going to take the pot and this is our pickling liquid.
I'm going to use brown rice vinegar and apple cider vinegar.
I'm going to take half a cup of each.
Brown rice vinegar adds a nice flavour to it. It's quite a mild vinegar.
And it gives a slightly Asiany flavour to the dish.
And apple cider vinegar is an excellent vinegar to have around.
It's an alkalising vinegar.
So it has a good alkalising effect on the body.
So that was half a cup of each and then I've got about a half teaspoon of salt.
And one cup of water.
So the ratio for these pickles is usually one cup of water to one cup of vinegar.
I'm going to pop that on the stove and bring that to the boil.
I'm not trying to reduce them.
So I'm taking the hot liquid and pouring it over the carrots.
The heat from the liquid will bring out the flavours of the star anise and the turmeric and the ginger.
And it will also help bring out the sweetness in the carrots.
So that is perfect for this jar.
I'm going to leave these to cool before I pop the lid on.
And I have some that I already made that I can show you.
So these ones I made with some baby carrots.
And you can see they've curled around a little bit.
They're kind of ever so slightly cooked from the hot liquid that's been in there.
And they're deliciously sweet.
The heat from the liquid really brings out the sweetness in the carrot.
And they're just delicious. I pop them in salads. At the cafes we make this beautiful green Vietnamese crepe which we serve these inside.
Because they've got those beautiful Asian flavours in there from the turmeric, ginger and star anise.
They're also a wonderful accompaniment to a cheese board or just any dinner table.
Woo, what have you been doing to these carrots?
I've been pickling them with some turmeric, ginger and star anise.
They're the ones we serve in the cafe on the Vietnamese crepe.
Ooo, fantastic.
Do you want to try one. Ooo, yeah yeah.
They're quite sweet, surprisingly sweet. Mmm, delicious.
So it's true what Meg says about most people loving carrots.
And carrots are a really good finger food for kids. Most kids love them.
And of course, do you remember what your mother used to say to you about 'Make sure you eat up your carrots because then you get to see in the dark'.
And there's a lot of truth in that because carrots are very high in the carotenoids which are wonderful antioxidants and are great for eye health, particularly any degenerative eye conditions.
So the dark orange and yellow foods have been shown to significantly reduce the risk of heart disease.
So it's really important to eat as many as you can because that will really lower your risk.
The other thing about carrots is apart from the carotenoids, they have these wonderful compounds called polyacetylenes which have been shown to reduce the clumping of your red blood cells...
...and that will impede blood flow, so very important for helping to reduce your risk in that respect.
So these very protective compounds, as well as the high amounts of fibre in carrots, are really important for protecting your digestive system.
And research has shown that that's really important for conditions like colon cancer.
So making sure that you eat plenty of them is a really good idea.
And finally, don't throw away the carrot tops.
Put them in a smoothie because they're really high in chlorophyll.

This is a competition bag that makes carrying your cubes easier in a small, premium looking
bag that you can take anywhere.
It is feature filled and has this glossy looking material which I probably think is nylon.
The bag is black colored with white drawings on the outside which features the different
WCA events.
It also has a strap that you can use for carrying it around.
On the inside, there are different compartments for different purposes.
Starting from the top, we have space alloted for keeping your lubricant, earphones or wires.
On the same side, we have a mesh compartment for keeping misc stuff like extra sd card
so you have a backup if your sd card runs out.

and from another perspective, I can practise my English, because he is American,
so obviously I can practise my English, enjoy my time, and meet some people.

what is going on people of the interweb hope you guys are having a great day and
today in this video I'm just gonna be going over what's to come on this
channel I did not film on Tuesday because I had a busy day on Monday for
Memorial Day and I did not have time to film anything I was hanging out with a
friend I hope you can understand that and most you guys don't care so
basically I just want to go over what's to come in the next week of this channel
I'm not going to be uploading on Tuesday on Wednesday that is my last day of
eighth grade and I will be filming that whole day not the whole day probably
just through graduations because after graduation we go to a bowling alley
through our school and then after that I'm going to Tyler's house to like late
and I don't want to film that late so basically that's going to be my very
first upload of the summer and that will be going up on Thursday then Thursday
Thursday or Friday I'm leaving for Kentucky for my sister softball
tournament and I'll be filming out there all the time not like I did in Cali
because Cali I had major malfunctions and that trip was not with me but I
still had a great time anyways besides the point I'll be filming out there
because I don't want to miss a day for summer I'm going to try to not miss as
many days as I can wait that does that make sense
I don't know but who cares I just wanted you guys to know so that's the end of

and according to Australian beverages council
coffee consumption makes up most of a person's weekly caffeine intake.
But it's not all about caffeine when it comes to coffee.
So let's find out more about this ancient berry.
So Joseph tell me how you go about creating the perfect coffee blend.
It's an interesting question George.
We source beans from all around the world.
Each origin has different characteristics.
You might get beans from Brazil that have a really, really strong body,
or coffee from Columbia that's got really good flavors and acidity.
If we try to have a coffee that was just from one origin
you might find that the acidity is really high, or its bitterness.
So it might be not as pleasant, whereas if you create that balance of beans
and put them together then you get a really, really good balance and complex flavor.
I have one a day usually after the gym
Three a day.
I have one at nine o'clock.
A maximum of two.
One at lunchtime, and then one as a pick me up in the afternoon.
So how much caffeine is in a coffee blend?
And does the type of bean affect that?
There are two distinct types, which is the Robusta, and the Arabica.
Now we use the Arabica here because it's a better quality bean.
Arabica beans have more of the flavors, and the sugars,
and the oils that we wanna try to get out of the coffee.
They've got lower caffeine content
and they're probably better for you because they're not as harsh.
Does the amount of caffeine
can you taste it
in terms of the flavor?
Not necessarily, it doesn't change the flavor.
It all depends on the way it's processed though.
If you've got espresso beans then you're gonna have a better flavor in the coffee,
but the beans that you use for an instant coffee normally comes from a cheaper quality bean.
So already it's got the high caffeine content.
What they also do is the freeze-dry it so it dissolves in water
and that's why you lose the flavor.
I think coffee's pretty bad for me, but I drink it anyway.
I understand it lowers your blood pressure.
I think coffees good for me.
I think it might be a bit bad for me.
I don't think coffee's bad for you.
I guess it depends on how many you have a day.

good kick-start to your day.
Number two: It does have a whole heap of long term health benefits
and everyone tells me they're detoxing off coffee
wrong it's so good for you.
Pretty much more is more.
Up to about 6 coffees a day
the less likely you are to get depression
and that pretty much follows through with dementia, risk of breast cancer, diabetes, liver cancer, Parkinson's disease, risk of stroke.
And that's your personal experience.
You'd get some fantastic benefits in an athletic sense as well.
Yeah exactly, and we've got study evidence to back that up.
So we know that having coffee before you do a work out
you get more out of your workout, but also academically, really good for the brain.
So if you're sitting an exam have a bit of a coffee before your exam.
You're gonna retain facts better.
Well you hear the good and bad things about caffeine.
What are the facts?
Okay so caffeine is the stuff that's inside the coffee
and it's probably not what is responsible for all the health benefits of coffee
and some people can't cope with caffeine at all
so give you a coffee and trembling, and shaking.

but I guess you're gonna have to go decaf.
It's not about the caffeine
it's about the antioxidants in the coffee bean.
So the good news is you don't need to ditch your daily coffee fix,
but it's more about controlling your caffeine intake.
