HARD.

IT STARTS WITH THE MESSAGE.

YOU HAVE A WARM ONE TO

SHARE.

I'M TIRED OF RAINING ON

PEOPLE'S PARADE.

WE HAVE HAD A LOT OF RAIN

HERE BUT THE DRYER WILL LAST

INTO THE WEEKEND.

I WILL SHOW YOU THESE VERY

SMALL RAIN CHANCES IF YOU ARE

HEADING OUT TO ARLINGTON IT IS

A WONDERFUL NIGHT FOR THE

BALLPARK.

THE DEWPOINT IS 57.

THAT IS THE GREAT NEWS.

WE ARE AN HOUR AWAY FROM FIRST

PITCH.

88 DEGREES.

GLOBE LIFE AND ALL THE

BALLFIELDS ARE LOOKING GOOD AND

DRIED OUT RATHER NICELY.

NOT ONLY WERE TEMPERATURES INTO

THE MID-90s WE HAVE VERY DRY

AIR AND HE'S STRONG NORTH WINDS

THAT HELP ALONG TO GET THINGS

DRIVE.

YOU CAN SEE THE CLOUDS ARE

STARTING TO WAKE AWAY.

THIS CONTINUES TO BRING DRY AIR

INTO NORTH TEXAS FROM THE

NORTH.

THAT SYSTEM BECAUSE THE RAIN

FOR FIVE DAYS IN A ROW.

LAPTOP TO THE EAST END CHARGING

ITS WAY ACROSS THE DEEP SOUTH.

THEY WILL RECEIVE A LOT OF RAIN

OVER THE NECK COUPLE OF DAYS.

WE ARE JUST IN THE AFTERMATH OF

ALL THE BIG RAIN.

THIS IS 4 TO 5 INCHES OF TOTAL

RAIN AND YOU SEE WOMEN

ULTRAFLEX KICKED OFF TO THE

WEST AND TO THE EAST.

IT WAS SCATTERED ABOUT WHERE

THE RAINFALL AMOUNTS ARE.

FORT WORTH ALLIANCE GOT OVER

SIX INCHES OF RAIN.

DALLAS EXECUTIVE GOT FIVE

INCHES OF RAIN OVER THE FIVE

DAY PERIOD.

IT FILLED UP OUR LAKES.

MOST OF THEM MINOR CAPACITY.

HE CAN SEE HOW MUCH THEY CHANGE

OVER THE LAST SEVEN DAYS.

THIS LIQUID UP OVER TWO FEET.

MORE THAN 50% RAIN CHANCES HAVE

BEEN THE STORY.

WE WILL TALK ABOUT 20% CHANCE

ON FRIDAY.

THAN A 20% CHANCE FOR SOME

THUNDERSTORMS.

COUPLE OF COLD DAYS TO OVER TO

AND LOW HUMIDITY AGAIN THEY

WILL INCREASE THE HUMIDITY ON

THURSDAY AND IT WILL BE DOWN

RAISE YOUR BEAR PLAYING A

PIANO.

[ LAUGHTER ]

IT'S BEEN A GRAY DAY AND

CONTINUES TO BE GRAY OUTSIDE.

BUT I SAID BEFORE I'M

OPTIMISTIC.

SIT TIGHT.

WE HAVE SO MANY IMPORTANT

THINGS.

AND FIRST OF ALL.

THE COOLEST DAY IN JUNE SO FAR

THIS MONTH.

BUT THINK ABOUT THIS.

OVER THE LAST 10 YEARS, WE'VE

ONLY HAD TWO DAYS IN THE LAST

10 YEARS THAT HAVE BEEN THIS

COLD IN THE MONTH OF JUNE.

NOT AS COLD TOMORROW.

TOMORROW YOU SEE LATE BREAKS IN

THE CLOUDS.

NOT A BRIGHT SUNNY DAY BUT

BREAKS.

AND THEN THE PATTERN SHIFT IS

UNDERWAY.

COME OVER THIS WOO WAY.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BE EXPECTING AS

YOU MOVE AHEAD.

I PUT A LIST TOGETHER BECAUSE

SOMETIMES IT'S EASIER TO READ

ALONG WITH ME.

SCATTERED SHOWERS AND DRIZZLE

TONIGHT.

AND CLOUDS DEFINITELY FOR THE

DAY TOMORROW TO START AND THEN

WE TALK ABOUT HOW THERE COULD

BE P.M.

BREAKS IN THE CLOUDS AND A

LITTLE PEEK OF A SUN HERE OR

THERE.

SETTING YOU UP FOR A BETTER

LOOKING THURSDAY.

HANG ON.

WE WATCH THE COAST FOR A

COASTAL STORM THURSDAY LATE TO

FRIDAY EARLY.

THIS IS NOT A STORM WITH A NAME

OR A NUMBER.

BUT IT'S A COASTAL SYSTEM.

THE EAST END OF LONG ISLAND

COULD BE AFFECTED WITH CLOUDS

AND RAIN.

I THINK IT WILL BE DURING THE

MORNING AND THEN OUT OF HERE.

AND THEN A BEACH WEEKEND IS ON

DECK.

LOOK AT THIS.

THIS IS A GREAT FORECAST.

SATURDAY UP TO 80 DEGREES.

AND A PRETTY GOOD LOOKING SKY.

AND SUNDAY A GOOD LOOKING SKY

AND 87.

SOME NUMBERS GO HIGHER.

IT'S A SUMMER LIKE FEEL TO THE

WEEKEND.

ESPECIALLY SUNDAY.

AND YOU SEE A THUNDERSTORM

THERE.

THAT'S BECAUSE HEAT AND

HUMIDITY ON THE INCREASE.

AND YOU GET THE SUMMERTIME TYPE

VARIETY STORMS.

FOR NEXT WEEK.

MAURICE, THIS IS FOR YOU.

WE WILL TURN THE CONNOR.

WHAT'S GOING TO HIT US.

ARE WE DONE WITH ALL IS

EARLY SPRING STUFF.

NEXT WEEK, WE COULD HAVE A

POSSIBLE HEAT WAVE.

YOU'LL HAVE MUCH WARMER

TEMPERATURES AND NOT AS GRAY OR

WET.

THIS PATTERN WILL HOLD THROUGH

JUNE 20th.

21st IS THE START OF SUMMER.

A TYPICAL THUNDERSTORM CHANCE

EXISTS EVERY DAY.

WHAT DO WE SEE?

LIGHT SHOWERS FOR THE EAST END.

CLOUD COVER YES.

THE STORMS OFF TO THE EAST NOT

HOLDING THEMSELVES TOGETHER.

AND I DON'T THINK THEY'LL BE A

BIG THREAT.

STILL WITH US TO START THE DAY

TOMORROW.

AND IT STARTS TO LIFT A LITTLE

BIT.

AND WE MAY SEE PEEKS OF SUN AND

THEN NO SOONER DOES THAT GO.

AND A BIGGER LOW PRESSURE

SYSTEM WITH NO NAME OR NUMBER.

BUT IT WANTS TO SKIRT TO

NANTUCKET AND MAY BE CLIPPING

LONG ISLAND.

THAT'S THE WAY WE SEE THINGS.

LET'S PULL UP TO THE 7-DAY

FORECAST AND LOOK AT THE BIGGER

NUMBERS.

TOMORROW, 66.

AND RAIN POSSIBLY TO START THE

DAY.

AND A LITTLE BIT OF A BREAK IN

THE CLOUD COVER FOR THE

AFTERNOON.

69 ON THURSDAY.

AND THURSDAY LATE INTO FRIDAY

MORNING.

A CLOSE CALL.

Matt Slick's Transcendental Argument – Debunked (TAG / Presuppositionalism Refuted) - Duration: 6:50.

Over my short time here on YouTube I've had a fair amount of requests to take on Matt

Slick's Transcendental Argument for god, and I can understand why.

On the surface the argument seems hard to understand, and in turn, hard to debunk, but

as the philosopher Alex Malpass demonstrated to Slick himself, it's not.

It's actually easy to convey and easy to debunk.

The difficulty is in how Slick presents it, and in how he conflates it with another one

of his arguments – which I'm not going to take on within this video.

This, is Matt Slick's Transcendental Argument – Debunked.

The full defence of Slick's Transcendental Argument can be found on Carm.org, but as

you can see from this screenshot, it's fairly lengthy, and most of his defence is either

clarifying definitions or making assertions that are universally accepted, which is useful,

but the argument itself is at the end of his defence, and it goes as follows: If we have

only two possible options by which we can explain something and one of those options

is removed, by default the other option is verified since it is impossible to negate

both of the only two exist[ing] options.

God either exists or does not exist.

There is no third option.

If the no-god position, atheism, clearly fails to account for Logical Absolutes from its

perspective, then it is negated, and the other option is verified.

Atheism cannot account for the necessary preconditions for intelligibility, namely, the existence

of logical absolutes.

Therefore, it is invalidated as a viable option for accounting for them and the only other

option, God exists, is validated.

Now what Slick has attempted to do here, and as his first premise actually states, is present

a disjunctive syllogism, which simply stated, is 'a logical argument of the form that

if there are only two possibilities, and one of them is ruled out, then the other must

be true.'

Or in its logical form it is: A or B. Not B. Therefore A. In addition to this, he insists

that his second premise, that "god either exists or does not exist", is a valid dichotomy

because the two positions are mutually exclusive and jointly exhaustive, meaning that both

positions can't be true, and that one must be true because between them they cover all

possibilities – and, if he's willing to slightly tweak the wording for clarification

purposes, he's right – either the Christian god exists or the Christian god does not exist;

this is a valid dichotomy.

But now we move on to his third premise, and this is where things get a little bit… tricky,

slippery and slicky.

When Slick states that "if the no-god position, atheism" he is conflating the 'Christian

god does not exist' proposition with, and only with, the atheist position (which is

not the only 'Christian god does not exist' position); Buddhism is a 'Christian god

does not exist' position; Hinduism is a 'Christian god does not exist' position;

Egyptian Polytheism is a 'Christian god does not exist' position; and the list goes

on and on and on and on, meaning that even if the atheist position cannot account for

logical absolutes (which is an assertion I don't accept), it does not logically follow

that only the Christian god can.

Or in other words, Slick's third premise commits a subtle, but game-ending, Black and

White Fallacy, because it implicitly asserts that only one of two positions can account

for logical absolutes (that being Christianity or atheism), when, as we've just demonstrated,

these aren't the only positions.

And this puts Slick in a very difficult situation.

He must either go back to the drawing board and comprise a new argument, or, he has to

adopt the impossible Burden of Proof of first knowing every single position (or worldview)

currently known and currently unknown, and then prove that each of these positions cannot

account for logical absolutes, before he can legitimately say that 'the only other option,

God exists, is validated'...

Which, as I've just mentioned, is quite literally impossible… and this means that

it's checkmate – game over.

Now I'd normally leave it here, but after much consideration I've decided to really

hammer home this flaw by composing a very similar argument that suffers from exactly

the same flaw and in exactly the same way, but without the fluff – and so for what

it's worth, please consider the following: Valhalla either exists or does not exist.

There is no third option.

If the no-Valhalla position, Hinduism, is negated, then the other option is verified.

Hinduism is negated, and therefore it is invalidated as a viable option and the only other option,

Valhalla exists, is validated.

Just as within this argument the Hindu position is but one of many positions that don't

posit the existence of Valhalla, in Slick's argument atheism is but one of many positions

that don't posit the existence of the Christian god, and hence, just as the Valhalla argument

commits a Black and White Fallacy, so does Slick's Transcendental Argument – and

because of this, the conclusion of both arguments are Non-Sequiturs.

And finally, I'm going to point out just one more ridiculous flaw with Slick's argument…

if we switch the word 'god' with 'Zeus' then the argument proves the existence of

Zeus, because, 'If the no-Zeus position, atheism, clearly fails to account for Logical

Absolutes from its perspective, then it's negated, and the other option is verified.

Now there are many more flaws with Slick's Transcendental Argument, and I've left a

few links in the description to others exposing them (including Alex Malpass), but within

this video, I've deliberately chosen not to point them all out, because, if I'm honest,

they're not necessary, and considering that people already find this argument confusing,

I've decided to keep my response simple.

And so, to recap, Slick's Transcendental Argument for god is flawed because: Premise

three commits a subtle but game-ending Black & White Fallacy, and consequently; Premise

four (the conclusion) is a Non-Sequitur.

Anyhow, as always, thank you kindly for the view, and I'll leave you with potently relevant

quote from Upton Sinclair.

It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends upon his

not understanding it!

Trumpcare 2 0 is a death bill - Duration: 7:59.

Trumpcare 2.0 is a death bill

New figures from the Congressional Budget Office show that, if passed into law, the

so-called Trumpcare bill would spike the number of people without health insurance

by 23 million in 2026.

While the GOP pushes deadly healthcare rollbacks in Washington, communities from Pennsylvania

to Maine are ramping up their organizing for universal health care at the state level.

New York and California are celebrating major progress in their campaigns for state-based,

single-payer systems, setting the tone for grassroots campaigns sweeping the country.

The Healthy California Act and the New York Health Act would establish improved Medicare-for-all-style

systems in each state, eliminating out-of-pocket costs and guaranteeing comprehensive care

to all residents.

The California bill won approval from the Senate Health Committee in late April, and

the Appropriations Committee is expected to vote on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the New York Health Act has sailed through the Assembly and now awaits action

in the Senate.

According to Ursula Rozum, upstate campaign coordinator for the Campaign for New York

Health, the list of endorsing state senators has jumped from 20 to 31 since the start of

the legislative session, bringing it just one vote shy of a majority.

Rozum told In these Times that the bills success this session is at least partly a

response to Trumps regressive policies, explaining that in this time of attacks

on federal level, I think it helps to say look, we have something viable that could

protect New Yorkers from the harms of the federal cuts to health care funding.

These victories constitute a positive sign that state-based campaigns for universal health

care ramping up across the countryand not just in states with progressive legislatures.

In Maine, where Republicans maintain control of the Senate and voters have twice elected

the far-right, proto-Trump governor Paul LePage, organizers are demonstrating non-partisan,

grassroots political unity on the issue of health care.

Such a system appears to have buy-in from ordinary Mainers.

I am a member of the Southern Maine Workers Center (SMWC), a member-based grassroots organization.

We recently released a report entitled Enough for All: A Peoples Report on Health Care,

which shows that the vast majority of people surveyed between February 2013 and March 2016

believe health care is a human right, and that its the job of the government to protect

that right.

Committed to building a movement of working class and poor people, the report states,

SMWC sought out people most directly impacted by our systems profit-driven model.

Over 70 percent of those surveyed reported that their right to health care is not currently

protected.

Maine is one of the 19 states that rejected Medicaid expansion under the Affordable Care

Act (ACA).

Maine is also the only state in the nation that has not seen a rise in the number of

residents with insurance since the implementation of the ACA.

The SMWCs report points out that the gap of coverage in states that rejected Medicaid

expansion disproportionately impacts people of color, deepening racial disparities across

the healthcare system.

According to a study by the Kaiser Family Foundation, black people are twice as likely

as white people to fall into that coverage gap.

Nationally, more than half of all nonelderly uninsured are people of color.

For the SMWC, a universal health system based in human rights would be one where all health

disparities are actively and systematically addressed.

And while the current system creates and exacerbates many health disparities, the SMWC points out

that it is also not working for the vast majority of people.

For organizations rallying around the human right to health care, both the failures of

the current system, and the attacks on health care coming from the right, constitute opportunities

to help people imagine a system that meets their needs.

Rozum explains, if you want to resist Trump, we need to organize around universal social

programs that take care of everyone, that unite people as opposed to being means tested.

This strategy is reflected in the SMWCs approach to organizing.

In a recent interview, SMWC member Cait Vaughan explained the process of surveying people

for their report.

What we were trying to do was engage people wherever they were at, whether they had lost

their Medicaid were still on Medicaid, whether they got insurance with the ACA

had no insurance at all, or even employer based insurance.

We were trying to engage all these folks to figure out, What are the real roots of

the problem?

The SMWC is just one organization in a multi-state collaborative of grassroots groups also hailing

from Vermont, Maryland, and Pennsylvania that are using the language of human rights to

build a base of grassroots support for universal health care.

Nijmie Dzurinko organizes with Put People First Pennsylvania (PPF), another member organization

of the Health Care is a Human Right (HCHR) Collaborative.

Dzurinko told In These Times that its important to be working at a scale we can

influence. Dzurinko agrees with Rozum that state-based efforts are gaining traction

precisely because were going backward in Washington.

We have a strategic opportunity to push for a kind of healthcare sanctuary at the state

level that insulates our people from the attacks and rollbacks of care at the federal level.

The Vermont Workers Center (VWC), another member of the HCHR collaborative, won a historic

victory in 2011 with the passage of Act 48, establishing a path to publicly-funded, universal

health care in the statethe first of its kind in the country.

While still on the books, the act has yet to be fully implemented, in part because of

former governor Peter Shumlin put up roadblocks around equitable financing.

The VWC continues to organize for full implementation of the law, while pushing back against the

harmful impacts of the insurance-based system kept in place by the ACA.

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Vermont has recently requested a 12.7 percent premium increase

on exchange plans.

VWC member Ellen Schwartz explains, well be testifying in July about how these rate

increases affect us and our families and call for the full implementation of Act 48 as the

solution.

This is important because the rate hikes are a symptom of a sick healthcare system, and

its that system that we are challenging and proposing to transform.

The 2011 victory of the Vermont Workers Center inspired similar campaigns, like that

of the SMWC, to view healthcare organizing as a winnable strategy and unite people around

human rights.

Viewing state-based organizing as connected to the fight over federal policies, Dzurinko

points to the fact that single payer system in Canada started in the province of Saskatchewan

before it was national policy.

With successes like those in California and New York thrown into the mix, single-payer

supporters elsewhere in the country may be spurred towards state-based campaigns.

Approaching these campaigns with an eye towards building broad bases of support for human

rights has the potential to sow resistance against the larger trends of privatization

and deregulation, as well as racism and xenophobia, that mark the Trump administration.

Salesforce.com to Oracle E-Business Suite Integration - Duration: 5:06.

The Sales Team at Visioning corporate has decided to modernize their Sales ecosystem

by subscribing to Salesforce.com for their Customer Relationship Management requirements.

This means they now need to integrate the data in Salesforce.com

with their on-premise Oracle E-Business Suite.

They've chosen Oracle Integration Cloud Service, or ICS, as their strategic platform for this integration.

This demo illustrates how an opportunity can be converted into an order

with just a few clicks using ICS as the integration platform.

After Bob, the Sales Rep, logs into Saleforce.com,

he creates a new opportunity in the system.

He enters information for the opportunity,

and adds the associated products to complete the opportunity configuration.

Next, Bob creates a quote for the opportunity,

He provides the relevant details.

After he saves the changes,

Bob can now synchronize the quote and the opportunity,

to enable bidirectional sync of quote line items and opportunity products.

Now the quote configuration is completed.

Bob presents this quote to the customer and after negotiations, the quote is accepted.

The opportunity is closed, which triggers the creation of a new Sales Order in E-Business Suite.

Bob can check the details of the Sales Order.

For example, He can see the Order Number of the Sales Order in E-Business Suite right here in Salesforce.com.

Now, when the customer calls Bob for details on where the order is, he calls the order management team and provides the order number in E-business Suite,

with that, the details of the order can be retrieved immediately.

Now, let's take a look at how you can build this integration using ICS quickly and without any coding.

James, integration designer of Visioning Corporate, logs into the ICS web console.

This console is the one stop shop for designing, monitoring and managing all your integrations.

From the landing page, James can perform one of the following tasks:

Create connections to various saas and on-premise apps.

Build integrations between connections.

Or, monitor transactions through the dashboard.

James starts with the Connections.

Oracle Integration Cloud Service provides you pre-build connections.

These include connections to Saas, on-premise, and social applications, and more.

Here, James creates a new connection from scratch.

to first configure the connection to the E-Business Suite using Integrated SOA Gateway Web Service.

He specifies a name and a version number for the connection and clicks on Create.

configures the WSDL file in the Connection Properties field,

and tests the connection to make sure it works fine.

James then creates the connection for Salesforce.com,

and configures credentials using the provided Salesforce.com account information.

James then moves on to the integration.

The landing page shows all the integrations that James or his team have created.

Oracle Integration Cloud Service provides pre-built integrations to integrate between various saas and on-premise applications

Here, James creates a new integration from scratch.

He chooses the map my data style of integration to simplify data mapping and

to send the requested data from salesforce.com to E-business suite.

There are other patterns available such as Pub/Sub, Orchestration, Virtualization, and more.

On the right is the list of SaaS and on-premise connections he's created previously.

Since the opportunity information is sent from Salesforce to E-Business Suite, James drags and drops the Salesforce connection to the source section.

He names this endpoint, and picks up the outbound messaging interface and the related Business Object - in this case, Opportunity.

Next, James configures the target of the integration - E-Business Suite.

James selects OpportunitySync as the operation.

The next step is to create the data mappings between these two endpoints.

Typically, this is the most complex and time-consuming part of delivering an integration.

However, with the simple data mapper in ICS, James can easily drag and drop to create the mapping,

Also, ICS has a mapping recommendation system that can create the mapping automatically.

The time and costs required to build and deliver mappings is significantly reduced.

To ensure end to end visibility, James configures the key search identifiers for this integration flow.

Why is he doing this?

If an order creation failed, or if EBS was down for maintenance,

the operation manager may want to search the transactions based on the Opportunity name or organization id,

and identify which transactions are not processed.

He can also use this identifier and search for transactions on the monitoring dashboard.

James has completed the integration.

And he has not written a line of code, or worked on an XML Schema, XSLT or other artifact.

He activates the flow in one click,

messages can now seamlessly flow between Salesforce.com and E-Business Suite.

Dear Seattle - Duration: 4:45.

turn it around on yourself and begin to smile

My name is Adam

And my name's Matt

And this, this is Seattle

we originally wanted to focus on the people because after all that's what

cities run on but that all fell apart as we quickly learns that people really don't

like them

So instead let's talk about the weather

Contrary to popular belief it doesn't actually rain year-round here in Seattle

that's what we want people to think. There's actually quite a bit of Sun but

also clouds, rain, snow, and traffic. Lots and lots of traffic.

Matt and I have both spent our entire lives here and we've experienced the good and the bad.

We've watched this city grow from one of the best-kept secrets of the Pacific

Northwest to a city known worldwide. We've seen the Seahawks championship,

Seafair with the Blue Angels over Lake Washington, days at the Seattle Center

fountain and the Woodland Park Zoo, midnight runs to Dick's, camping in the San Juans,

hiking in the Cascades, the Sounders winning MLS Cup, the Sonics leaving many

many, many, terrible years of the Mariners, gay marriage, weed legalization,

the growth of Amazon and gentrification, police brutality and Mayday protests, and much much more.

Adam and I love this city but it isn't perfect. This place we call home isn't

immune to strife and conflict.

Senator Bernie Sanders was confronted over the

weekend at a rally in Seattle by protestors story in Seattle two police officers

shot and wounded new images coming in from the city nobody really knows is

this last year of crazy rent increases or we just sort of going to continue

Hundreds of thousands will take to the streets when our

football team wins the trophy but we fail to support our own neighbors whose

lives are at stake just because of the color of their skin

The truth is Seattle isn't the city of jazz clubs punk rock and cultures from

around the world that it once was. It's a city on steroids growing at a

pace that even it can't quite comprehend. While it is easy to see what we're

gaining it is harder to see what we're losing. Sure, we could show you pretty

shots of the Space Needle, or a nice ferry ride across the water but what

does that count for if we aren't actively trying to improve where we live?

A recent Seattle Times article declared Seattle the fastest-growing city in the

nation. We now have a population of over 700,000, our city is changing without a

doubt but is it changing in a way that benefits all of its citizens or only a

few?

We must ask ourselves, and our city, how can we make the most change for good?

That's enough? Do you think that's enough?

Instant rain! Instant rain!

Miré a mi alrededor.

—¡No! Este está ya muy enfermo. Haz otro. Volví a dibujar.

Mi amigo sonrió dulcemente, con indulgencia. —¿Ves?

—¡Bueno, no tan pequeño…! Está dormido… Y así fue como conocí al principito.

Doctors Consult Each Other on a Squamous Cell Carcinoma | Auburn Medical Group - Duration: 5:02.

welcome to the otter Medical Group channels dr. Marc Vaughn dr. Dwayne and

Jackie super patient Jackie making a what a third appearance I am on my

mortgage demand so today we're talking about this wart on your hand or I should

it's a word we don't know who or what this is and I brought dr. Guinan because

sometimes we consult with each other will grab one or the other and bring

into a room and say hey what do you think of this and in this case we're

looking at this growth on Jackie's hands in their quarter and a few weeks a few

weeks and does it itch no it's tender it's a little tender yeah and dr. Blaine

has been looking at it it's kind of purplish it's got kind of a crust to it

I was thinking this could possibly be could possibly be a squamous cell

carcinoma and if it is we'd want to bias it with something like a shave biopsy

going kind of wide to make sure we get the whole thing or in an effort to get

it all so you don't have to go back for more but then I'll spy on right yeah I

was looking at it too and initially with the kind of roughness of it it does have

that kind of wart like texture to it but if you look very closely you can see

that there's a little base or base to it a little pink base and that's that's

what makes me a little more worried I think probably the same thing to do

would be to take a biopsy as well just so we can get a tissue diagnosis then we

know for sure that way we're not just kind of blindly freezing and then not

really knowing if it's tagged exactly okay okay so in that case we'll proceed

with the shade by it really scares me again what I the alternative I was

thinking was possibly doing cryotherapy of everything that and and we would

present both these off-chance to the patient yeah we could just do

cryotherapy with the risk of not touch me yeah

and like the stories of all had stuff removed and been diagnosed with cancer

suspects oh thank you seeing just make sure we'll just do the shape okay

don't want to later on without good go in are you feeling anything drawback

inject and that really pops it up an area we're working are you feeling it

puts the pressure probably because we're putting a lot of fluid into your hand

oh well it's an anesthetic okay which is a fluid fluid form of anesthetic rather

than gas yeah so I found that colleagues not a good choice

you don't want to go with the gas don't want to oh yeah it is numb now I'm so

the flexible shaver blade you know there is a vein right under this just thought

I'd point that out to us now so if I start shooting blood

there'll be an explanation at least the doctor's office puts a sample in the

container no I was like I'll just go like this and it will fall on the

countertop

I can do this okay so the wound seal wonderful wound seal

ready Polly let's let's get some looks at it one two three

I hold this for about a minute

do we got a third of the way through

did you know Jackie is along really yes we won't put that on the video yes thank

you dr. green for helping out with the console Thank You Jackie four lemons

were charted hey if you guys like videos like this be sure to be subscribe also

catch dr. Duane's blog at dr. green night yeah calm and if you want to see

some behind the clean stuff like some of our shenanigans here be sure to be a

patron on patreon like booboo Kitty Lou the end time and Petro Rosenberg until

In addition to this, he insists

that his second premise, that "god either exists or does not exist", is a valid dichotomy

because the two positions are mutually exclusive and jointly exhaustive, meaning that both

positions can't be true, and that one must be true because between them they cover all

possibilities – and, if he's willing to slightly tweak the wording for clarification

purposes, he's right – either the Christian god exists or the Christian god does not exist;

this is a valid dichotomy.

But now we move on to his third premise, and this is where things get a little bit… tricky,

slippery and slicky.

When Slick states that "if the no-god position, atheism" he is conflating the 'Christian

god does not exist' proposition with, and only with, the atheist position (which is

not the only 'Christian god does not exist' position); Buddhism is a 'Christian god

does not exist' position; Hinduism is a 'Christian god does not exist' position;

HUGE BookExpo & BookCon Haul! [CC] - Duration: 18:09.

I don't have to put them all on the stack, right? Like just enough to make it look like

I put in effort for that thumbnail. Oh, f*ck. Hello everybody. Today, I'm recording a video

for the first time in a while. I'm back at home back in the Seattle area with my

family, back in my old bedroom, sitting on the floor because it's the only space I

have that's not covered in all of my belongings. I just got back from New York

for Book Expo and book con and I have a bit of a haul and I'm really excited

about so many of these titles, so I don't even know where to start. So you all know

that I don't typically do a ton of hauls on my channel. I don't love hauls. I like

when you can actually talk about a book in depth, but I think a BEA

haul is quite effective because it lets you know kind of books on that are

coming out later this year or early next year, kind of gets things on your radar,

so that's why I'm doing one today. Before getting started in the actual book haul, I

thought I'd show you a couple cool things that are not full books. Firstly,

I got this like teeny tiny, it's like four pages of the new illustrated

edition of Harry Potter but we saw this they're giving these out and my whole

friend group just like dashed over to scholastic. So this is really pretty. I

got one of the first illustration at BEA in 2015 and I still have it and I really

want to frame some of those pictures. I got a sampler for The Language of Thorns

by Leigh bardugo which is when I'm most anticipated reads. I love Leigh Bardugo.

I love Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom. this comes out in September. I wish this

was a completed book, but it's not, but it is absolutely stunning like it's got

all these this imagery and these --oh, beautiful. You probably know Emma, Emma Books,

you probably know how much she loves Shadowhunters, she posts a ton about it. I

really have shadowhunters as well, I just don't talk about it a ton. But we

made it a point to keep going back to the Shadowhunters booth because they

were giving out, they were doing like merchandise drops every like twice a day,

I think it was and we got all these pins. We got the Angelic rune, this is

the antidote rune and the heavenly fire rune, which is really really cool. We

were so pumped about these and kept like dashing off by ourselves to go get them.

We also got this collection of postcards from The Dark Artifices. I

read Lord Of Shadows and I've got a lot of feelings, so good. We got Kieran, you get

the Seelie Queen, Emma, there's Emma Carstairs. These are all done by oh, what's

her name, Jean, Cassandra Jean. There's Kit, oh that's actually not how I

thought Kit would look, weird, yeah they're really cool.

Jaime. Very cool, very cool. Also I have a little photo booth here. wait, look

at us. we cute. I guess I'll just start with the first book that I've actually

already read and that is Spinning by Tillie Walden. it didn't fit my checked

luggage and so I had it in my carry-on. if you can hear my dog crying, I'm sorry.

anyway, spinning is a graphic memoir about ice skating it's about a queer

girl going through her life. she ice skated for 12 years and this is actually a

graphic memoir, so it's the story of Tillie herself and it's just about her

life as an ice skater and growing up and how her relationship to ice skating

evolves over the years and relationships to other people and coming out and things

like that. it is pretty good I really liked the art, especially. I'm not huge on

graphic novels in general, but I did really like this book. The next book

I have here is before I let go by Marieke Nijkamp. I'm sorry if I

pronounced it wrong. it's Dutch, I'm not great at Dutch, but she wrote This Is

Where it Ends, which is the novel about the school shooting that came out last year or

the year before that was really, really popular. I have not read that, but I was

with my friend Emma and she went to pick this up so I joined her and we actually

got it signed which is really cool. This book is set in Alaska and it's a story

of a death and then kind of the mystery around it, so I believe this will be a

lot about grief, a lot about, yeah, a mystery in a small town things like that. That

is kind of what I'm picking up, and friendship as well. This comes out

January 2018, so it's bit far out but put it on your

list if that sounds at all interesting. The next book was an intense process

because this dropped- this is There's Someone Inside Your House by Stephanie

Perkins. It's Stephanie Perkins new novel, it's a thriller, mystery, horror novel and

this dropped at 9 a.m. on the Friday of Book Expo and we got

there right when it opened and we went and got this book and it was chaos.

everyone is grabbing and pushing and I was like 'we're all adults here,

what is happening?' I literally yelled it at people because it was a bunch of adults

like grappling on the floor for a book. it's coming out in September, it's not-

it's not that far off. I don't know anything about this book, I didn't want

to know anything other than like horror thriller mystery because I feel like

that's a good way to go into that type of genre, but Stephanie Perkins, who

normally it's really fluffy contemporaries, so we'll see. The next

book was another highly anticipated one that we sat and waited for for a good

while and that is 27 Hours by Tristina Wright. If you're big in the diversity

community here on booktube, you've probably heard a lot about this. this is

a story, it's a sci-fi story with an entirely or mostly queer cast and also I

believe there is some deaf representation or hard-of-hearing

representation. we've got monsters, it's got war, it's got runaways. I was so

excited, this is on my top-- Stephanie Perkins and this and one of the book are my top

three to reads. I'm gonna read them as soon as possible and I'll bring you some

reviews. This comes out in October of this year the next book another one I'm

quite excited about it's The Belles by Dhonielle Clayton and I actually met

Dhonielle in the queue for Starbucks with some my friends who knew her and she was

so so sweet and I was like this is so actually the first book I picked up at

BookExpo because it was on the Disney Hyperion table and yeah, it looks

beautiful with that cover. this doesn't come out until February next year, wow,

that's really advanced. So what they have on the back cover here is, 'there's no beauty,

without blood.' I don't know a ton about this novel, I just know that it's being

very hyped because it is a lot about privilege. It's set in a different world

called Orleans, but I do know that one of the through lines is a story of excess

and privilege and how that dominates this city in this world and how the main

character in here is trying to fight against that.

So sounds really amazing, sounds really quite relevant, as well and I'm excited

to pick this one up soon. This is the third book that I was the most excited

for and that is They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera. I recently read History is

All You Left Me by Adam Silvera and I loved it and this premise sounds really

really cool. They Both Die at the End is the story of a world where people know

when they're going to die, and so the two main characters, two boys in this story

find out that they're going to die and then kind of come together and go on

adventures or something in their final few hours, which sounds really amazing. I

loved the relationships, dynamics between Adam's characters in

History and so I can't wait for that in here, as well. This comes out in September

of this year, so not too far off. The next book I got was actually at a party I

went to it was in a bag like a goody bag when we walked out, so I don't really

know anything about this. I just found a name tag from that party.

This is Moxie by Jennifer Matthieu and the top here has highlighted feminist

revolution, so it sounds like something I'm into. Vivian Curtis mom was a Riot Grrrl in

the 90s, so now she and Vivian live a quiet and uneventful life. When Viv witnesses

a series of sexist incidents at her school, she takes a page from her mom's

book and makes an feminist zine which she distributes anonymously to her

classmates. That's really cool, so basically she's fighting the patriarchy.

I'm into it. I'm actually really excited about this now. This comes out in

September of this year. the next book we have is Little & Lion by Brandy Colbert.

Little and Lion is the story of a girl who lives between two lives, between her home in

Los Angeles and where she goes to boarding school in New England and it

follows her life with her brother who has bipolar disorder and she actually

falls in love with the same girl that her brother is in love with. Drama,

contemporary, pick it up this- when does this come out- August. Really soon!

The next book I have here is Click'd by Tamara Ireland Stone. this apparently

is not a final cover, so this cover might change, but this is set to come out

in September of this year and Tamara has another book that Emma, my friend, who I

was with when I got this really liked and so I want to pick this up, as well,

and she signed it and she was so so sweet. it's a story of a girl who built an app

and kind of the drama that ensues when that app goes viral, I believe, which

sounds really cool. I quite like stories about kind of social media and things

like that because it feels very current and contemporary obviously. the next book

I have is something everyone's been talking about and it's Warcross by

Marie Lu. Warcross comes out in September of this year and I know very little

about the plot. I think it's kind of, I mean, I know I read Legend by Marie Lu

years ago and I feel like all of her novels are quite high paced and actiony,

so I believe this was probably somewhere along that lines.

I also hope it's got some queer representation because rainbow. It's got a

rainbow cover, it feels weird in 2017 for a rainbow cover to not mean queer,

so hoping for the best. all I know is that warcross, I believe, is a game of

some sort and it's a kind of similar to Hunger Games maybe where it's like

really intense and people die I'm not sure. my next book I have here is Hunting

Prince Dracula by Kerria Maniscalo. when we got this we could not remember

the title we kept calling it really weird names like counting hunt dracula

and things like that, and so every time I look at this it makes me laugh because

we could not figure out the name for so long. this is the second book by Kerri

and she wrote Stalking Jack the Ripper, which I read last year. I didn't love it,

I think it read a bit more like middle grade, but I liked it and I thought this

would be quite interesting incorporating Dracula into Victorian England. I believe

it is, um, yeah, so I think it is it the same characters- yeah the same characters,

so that's quite cool. it's like a sequel, but the different legend or myths or

whatever. that'll be fun. That'll be a fun read like later the summer I think and

that comes out in on September 19th of this year. The next book I got is

Alexandra Bracken's new book. I've never read an Alexandra Bracken book, which is

bad of me, but I wanted to pick this up anyway it's called the dreadful

prospects or no--The Dreadful Tale of Prosper Redding, sorry, and the big

poster also-- yeah it has a fox on it, so I'm really hoping it follows a fox or

someone with a pet Fox. 'Prosper is the only unexceptional Redding in his old

and storied family history, that is until he discovers a demon living inside of

him.' Alright. This is Alex's first middle grade, so this is her first venture

into that genre and I'm excited to read it. I really love middle grade, I think it's

such a formative time for children to be reading. the next book is another one of

my most anticipated reads of the year and that is Dear Martin by Nic Stone. She

was amazing, by the way, I had so much fun talking with her and she saw my Hogwarts

tattoo on my arm here and she asked me what house I am and she said she signed

it dear Kayley, she crossed out Martin, 'Dear Kayley, be your best (even though your

Gryffindor) #Slytherinpride. Very funny.

So this is this-- 'Justyce a good kid an honour student on his way to Yale, so why

is he the one in handcuffs?' I believe this is kind of along the long lines of The Hate U

Give, another blacklivesmatter kind of story and it's really short, actually, so short,

so I'll probably read that really soon. Next book I have is Zenith by Sasha Alsberg

and Lindsay Cummings. We were hanging out with Sasha and she was like, oh, did you

get a chance to grab my book and we hadn't so she took us over and

signed them for us this is a hugely anticipated novel in the YA community

because Sasha is obviously a booktuber and I believe Lindsay is as well,

actually, and yeah, they collaborated on this space book. You've probably already heard loads

about this. I'll link Sasha down below and you can check it out for yourself. I

believe this comes out in January 2018 so quite advanced. The next book is

another really anticipated title and it's E Lockheart's new book

Genuine Fraud, on sale in September of this year. I believe it's about a

friendship, I don't know anything about it, really, I like going to E Lockheart's

books kind of-- at least I loved going into We Were Liars without any sort of

preconceived notions, so I believe I'm gonna do the same with this one and

this is a short novel so I'll pick this up really soon and hope to get a review to you

guys. It does mention the American Dream on the back, which is really

interesting to me I love stories about the American Dream. Maggie Stiefvater's new

book All the Crooked Saints, this comes out in October of this year and this was

another one that everyone was really really excited about and I'm currently

going through The Raven Boys series, or, cycle,The Raven Cycle, so I'm really

enjoying her writing so I was I had to pick this one up,

obviously. I've actually already read Release by Patrick Ness, but I really

liked this cover, as well. I have the UK Edition because it comes out came out

already like last month in the UK but doesn't come out until September her,

but this book is amazing. I loved it and I want to get the US cover, so I figured

I'd pick it up while I was there and I've also got to lend it to people as

well if they want to read it. So good. It was inspired by Mrs. Dalloway

by Virginia Woolf and Forever by Judy Blume and it's so interesting it's a mix

of a coming-of-age, very emotional, heavy story and a ghost

story it's just unlike anything I've ever read before. Highly recommend. Forest of a

Thousand Lanterns is the first book in Julie Dao's new series A Rise of an

Empress and this is one that I knew was quite big in the fantasy world, I haven't

heard too much about it myself, but I kept hearing it- like the title, so I went

along I went to see if she was still doing a signing and I caught the very

end of it, so yeah, I'm excited for it. This comes out in October of this year.

I feel like my synopses are getting worse and worse as I

go on, but there are just so many books. You Bring the Distant Near by Mitali Perkins is

another book that I got in a goodie bag at a party and I didn't know anything

about it, but I love the colors and this cover is really interesting and it's a

story of a girl trying to fit in in America. she's moved to New York after

living in London and that's relevant to my interests. I think it's a story of kind

of how she's balancing her Bengali traditions versus her new life in Queens

and balancing her friendships and things like that. I think and there also seems

to be a tragedy that happens and yeah I think it's just kind of a really

interesting story of culture and moving and changes and growing closer to people

that you didn't previously think you'd be close to. Very interested in this one,

actually I'm going to pick this up soon and this comes out in September of this

year. Another book in that goody bag was a completed book that's already been out,

you've probably seen this around booktube, and it's The Love Interest by

Cale Dietrich, sorry I actually met him but he was really nice.

Two spies, one girl, whoever gets her to fall in love with him... lives. Very

interesting, I feel like it's a story of two spies who are meant to get the girl

to fall in love with them, but they fall in love with each other? Is that a spoiler or

is that the plot? I'm not sure, anyway, it's really a fast-paced fun book and

yes, that makes me excited to grab it. I read Shadowshaper a few months ago,

so it was quite thrilled to see Shadowhouse Fall by Daniel Jose Older and I

liked Shadowhunt-Shadowshaper, I didn't love it---did I say Shadowhunter before? I

might have. I liked Shadowshaper a lot and it's one of those books I feel

like I would have loved when I was about 15 years old. I felt like I was a little

bit too old for and the plot was like a little bit, um, like I'd seen it before. I see

it compared to like kind of a Caribbean version of the Mortal Instruments. I

definitely feel like that's accurate, so if you really like the Mortal

Instruments series, I think you'll like this series a lot because it's kind of

got a twist on that. A bit more artistic, a bit more culturally diverse, obviously,

and yeah it was exciting so I'm excited for the second one. This is quite short

actually, I feel like there's a shorter than the first one.

I guess second books usually are. One of my favourite series, duologies, of last year was

Wolf by Wolf and Blood for Blood by Ryan Graudin and this is her new book

Invictus and I don't know too much about this,

all I just know it's like doctor who meets guardians of the galaxy kind of

like a sci-fi space type thing, which is quite different from what she's written

before and I'm really excited about it, so this was one of my most anticipated

going into Book Expo. this comes out in September of this year. This is one that

everyone is really hyped about and I know nothing about, I literally just want

because all my friends were going and I picked it up because it was a signing and I thought

that would be cool. Really pretty, like, cover here.

Daughter of the Burning City by Amanda Foody. 'Wicked, wicked to the core, the

city will burn forever more.' I think it's just a new fantasy set in like a

different type of world. There's a traveling carnival involved, dreams and

desires... sounds awesome. this is the only book that I'd really never heard about

before at the event and that is Thing I'm Seeing Without You by Peter Bognanni.

Sorry if I pronounced that wrong. this is, I just got pitched this- like I was talking

to a woman at Penguin and she was saying that this was a book that made her laugh

and cry and you hear that a lot, but she was like, no, I genuinely was laughing and

crying at the same time, so I thought that was quite a good pitch, but it's a

lot about grief and I've read quite a bit of grief books this year and I found

them really really powerful and cathartic, so I grabbed this and the

final completed book, or the final ARC, I guess I have here is The Cruel Prince by

Holly Black. Holly Blackm a big name in YA fantasy, obviously, and everyone was very

excited about this. it's blurbed by Leigh Bardugo on the cover and I love Leigh

Bardugo. I did not get Wonder Woman, by the way, the queue was wild, so I did not

manage to get a copy, but it's coming out soon anyway, so I'm not too upset. This

comes out in January of next year, wow, quite advanced. And that's it! We did it!

Very long video, I apologize. By the way, fun fact, the bag-- I had like a tote bag

carrying all my books onto the plane and it broke and so I had to go find a bag

to carry all these books back from New York and I didn't really want to buy a

new luggage because I didn't need new luggage so I bought one I'm going to give to my

cousin, or my cousin's son rather, it's this R2D2 bag, so I carried this through New

York and it's a real short. It does not like that's as far as-- it was not easy, but

the books all got home. We're safe, it's great. Thank you for watching! Let me know what

you're really excited to read. I can't wait to read about like five of these. I

don't know which one to pick up first, so that'll be my dilemma next, once I clean

my entire room. it's a disaster. new videos on the way, hopefully, just give me

like a little bit of time to sort out my life. I'm unemployed, so, you know, what

else am I going to do? Thank you for watching and I'll see you next time!

Miré a mi alrededor.

—¡No! Este está ya muy enfermo. Haz otro. Volví a dibujar.

Mi amigo sonrió dulcemente, con indulgencia. —¿Ves?

—¡Bueno, no tan pequeño…! Está dormido… Y así fue como conocí al principito.
