They say that the pen is mightier than the sword, and in horror cinema - in some specific
cases - the brain is mightier than the … brawn?
Yeah - I guess that works, but you get the picture.
Although, in some cases - don't get me wrong, the best thing is to scream in ravenous anger
and fire a gun into the air charged with double entendre - for the most part to survive the
monstrous hordes of horror cinema - the only course of action is to keep your wits, and
keep your head.
And thankfully, the two of them aren't mutually exclusive.
Well - you gobbled up part 1 of this list - so let's see what else horror cinema has
to offer.
Hello horror fans - and once again, welcome back to the scariest channel on YouTube - Top
5 Scary Videos.
Come, join us as we crouch around this metaphorical campfire - as we whisper tales of horror cinemas
most prolific survivors - and take a look at the Top 5 Smartest Horror Victims - Part
2.
Roll the clip.
Yeah - not that guy.
For the curious amongst you, that clip was from 2002's Dog Soldiers - which may or
may not be a point on this list.
Spoilers, yeah it is.
Now in Part 2 - you guys had a lot to say about your picks for this particular list
- and I hear you.
Screams Sidney Prescott was banded around quite a bit, as well as Kirsty from Hellraiser
- and while I agree, I'll try and keep the archetypes to a minimum for the sake of keeping
things fresh, because there is one final girl left to crown.
Kicking off at Number 5 - Cooper, Dog Soldiers
If you've never seen 2002's Dog Soldiers - I would highly recommend it, as it still
maintains its rank amongst the greats of British horror cinema to this day.
It's great - the British SAS, the Scottish Highlands - and werewolves.
What can go wrong?
Well.
A lot.
But, whether it's down to Cooper's military training, played by the awesome Scottish actor
Kevin McKidd - this guy knew how to keep his head while faced down by a family full of
ravenous lycans.
Literally.
Sorry, that one was too easy.
Aside from Cooper's astute military decision making, Dog Soldiers is just a straight up
great horror flick.
Liam Cunningham, Sean Pertwee and Kevin McKidd give life to, what on paper appears to be
a pretty doomed plot - and it's not really hard to make this list when essentially the
cast is stacked with specially trained elite soldiers - although, Spoon - played by Darren
Morfitt - isn't exactly the sharpest spoon in the drawer.
From start to finish, Cooper makes consistently smart choices to keep himself alive - while
his fellow cast members sacrifice themselves in glorious explosions and flare swinging
football chants.
Yeah, it's plot armor - but it's also brilliant.
Coming in at Number 4 - Wendy Torrance, The Shining
Now, I understand that some points of this list may take some convincing - but hear me
out on this one.
Wendy Torrance, played by the seminal Shelley Duvall - makes some incredibly smart choices
throughout the frantic and chaotic storyline of Stanley Kubrick's adaptation of Stephen
King's The Shining.
And in the end - alongside her son Danny, she wins, while being faced down by her maddening
husband Jack - played by the incredible Jack Nicholson.
And it's down to one thing - because on the surface Wendy may not look like she's
in control of her actions - and in some ways she's not - but she's being piloted by
one hell of a maternal instinct.
As soon as Wendy gets a sniff of real danger against herself and Danny - she's off.
Which is something horror characters usually don't get a grasp off.
All Work and No Play Makes Jack a Dull Boy - and Wendy is out the door.
First problem though, the only means of escape - the Snowcat - is disabled.
Maternal instinct kicks in, and she grabs herself a baseball bat - and beats the living
hell out of Jack.
The rest of the film, Wendy holds on to her life in a white knuckle ride of cat and mouse
- and it's only down to those pesky Overlook Hotel ghosts that Jack even catches a break.
But in the end, Wendy and Danny win - and Jack's pretty much boned for eternity.
Next up at Number 3 - Mike Harrigan, Predator 2
Let's not beat around the bush, 1990's Predator 2 is one serious tour-de-force of
sci-fi horror action - and it was one lofty task to fill the shoes of our man Major Alan
Dutch Schaefer - AKA Arnold Schwarzenegger - but believe it or not, there was actually
one man for the job.
And as a result, we were gifted one of the greatest sci-fi characters of all time.
Mike Harrigan, played by Danny Glover - the man who beats around no bushes, especially
in an LA Concrete Jungle - who drops f-bombs like most people drop brain cells after watching
The Big Bang Theory.
Listen - Mike Harrigan isn't necessarily smart in the traditional sense, that's not
why he made this list.
To quote Laser Time - Mike Harrigan isn't just a loose cannon: he's a loose artillery
battalion - and he manages to keep his head in an otherwise sticky situation by sheer
force of badassery alone.
Mike Harrigan couldn't make a bad decision if he tried.
It's impossible.
And by the climax of the film, Harrigan manages to kill the Predator - AKA, one of the deadliest
sentient creatures in the known universe - with it's own weaponry, gaining the respect of
the Yautja - which is the only accolade you need, really.
Next up at Number 2 - Eben Oleson, 30 Days of Night
I love this film.
I'm not going to lie - and I feel like it never truly received the recognition that
it deserved in horror cinema, giving us one of the freshest silver screen depictions of
vampires in a long, long time.
Yeah, it was probably the sparkly ones that ruined everyone's perception of blood sucking
immortals.
Based on the comic book series of the same name by Steve Niles and illustrated by Ben
Templesmith - 30 Days of Night depicts the town of Barrow, Alaska - one of the most northern
settlements on the planet - as they go through a month long period of polar winter.
Literally, 30 days of night - no sunlight.
And the perfect hunting ground for a gang of ancient vampires.
Eben Oleson, played by Josh Hartnett - literally doesn't make a single poor decision throughout
this film, and to be fair - the entire cast of resourceful, Alaskan locals are pretty
good at surviving as a whole.
But there's one reason that Eben comes in so high on the list - his ultimate choice
of fighting fire with fire.
Or, fighting vampirism with vampirism.
At the climax of the film, Eben realises that the only way to ultimately save the survivors
- despite them having held on for nearly a month - is to directly confront the vampire
leader, Marlow, by becoming a vampire himself and injecting himself with infected blood.
And then he punches a hole in his head.
If you haven't seen 30 Days of Night - I highly recommend it - and I'll try not to
ruin the gravity of the final few moments of the film.
But Eben Oleson is one resourceful and awesome Alaskan.
And finally - at our Number 1 spot - Laurie Strode, Halloween
Because she MacGuvyered a coat hanger into a shank in like 10 seconds while being faced
down by one of horror cinemas most villainous villains.
Nah - I'm just kidding, although, that is a reason - Laurie Strode makes this list by
sheer force of will alone.
She has mathematics on her side, because she's survived The Shape for over 40 years of cinematic
history.
Although - she did kinda die twice, but that was a car crash - and it's been retconned,
so forget about it.
She's a survivor and Michael Myers has never quite managed to massacre her.
Jamie Lee Curtis is one of horror cinemas most iconic final girls - she perhaps may
even be THE most iconic.
And if we're taking David Gordon Green's 2018 reboot as an example, Laurie Strode would
single handedly take this list with her Kevin McAllister style house of horror boobytrap
onslaught.
She's smart - she's capable - and she doesn't die.
She's Laurie Strode, what do you expect?
Well - there we have it horror fans, but before we depart, let's read out some of your more
humorous comments from over the past few days.
Riffler Underhill says -- I love horror, but even more I love stories that actually give
me hope for humanity.
-- and first off, Underhill eh?
That's a Shire name.
But also, I couldn't agree with you more - and what a wonderful way to put it.
Good job Riffler Underhill.
Jayden Haney says -- Pls read this comment in ur next vid.
-- Well, there you go Jayden Haney, I love an easy one.
And finally - Dyllan Dodge says -- If u read this u cool.
-- Well, I needed that one buddy, thanks Dyllan - you're cool too.

What If The Day After Tomorrow Was Happened In Real Life? - Duration: 4:03.
In the 2004 film, the day after tomorrow, humans are faced with an apocalyptic scenario,
where the North Atlantic Current, the current that is responsible for the redistribution
of heat across planet earth, suddenly stops.
The results are catastrophic climate events that plunge the earth into a new ice age.
The film was scientifically incorrect, if the North Atlantic Current was disrupted,
the results would not likely not be as severe as depicted in the film.
But that doesn't mean the results wouldn't be devastating.
This life's biggest questions happens to be an important one because Unfortunately,
according to two recent studies, the North Atlantic Current is slowing down, and may
completely shut down if something isn't done soon.
Today, life's biggest questions asks, what if the day after tomorrow was real?
Hello and welcome back to life's biggest questions, I'm charlotte Dobre.
Don't forget to give this video a thumbs up, subscribe and let us know in the comments
below a question you have always wanted to know the answer to.
The circulation in the atlantic ocean is caused by the north atlantic current.
The current takes warm water from the tropics, and redistributes it to higher latitudes.
That heat is then released into the atmosphere, and its responsible for the weather patterns.
The NAC also transports nutrients across the worlds oceans, and its very important to marine
life and animals that feed on marine life.
In the film, the day after tomorrow, the north atlantic current is disrupted, and as a consequence,
the east coast of the united states gets slammed by extreme weather.
A storm system develops in the northern hemisphere, creating 3 superhurricanes, that pull froze
air from the arctic.
A tsunami submerves new york city, making the sea level rise.
Then temperatures drops to bone chilling levels, where survivors have to huddle around heat
sources.
All of these things happen within the span of a couple of days, hours even.
While a disruption of the North Atlantic Current would not cause these extreme effects right
away, it would have devastating consequences.
Unfortunately, it seems this scenario has a chance of becoming a reality, because ccording
to 2 recent studies, the current is the weakest its been in over 1600 years.
If The NAC keeps slowing down, severe flooding, and extreme weather conditions will blast
north America.
The reason for the current slowing down?
Well the exact reason is not certain.
One guess is Climate change.
Scientists have been concerned for almost 40 years about the consequences of rising
global temperatures, and a change in the way the NAC redistributes heat might be another
cause for concern.
If the North Atlantic current slows down even more, here's what will happen.
Sea levels will rise up more than 80 centimeters along the east coast of the united states,
and the waters will become warmer.
The cold water from the arctic will not travel down to other parts of the atlantic ocean.
While its unlikely a giant tsunami will engulf the empire state building, Coastal cities
like New York could become partially submerged.
Key fisheries will be affected, lobster and cod live in this area, and they thrive in
cold water.
Eastern US Winters will become a lot colder, perhaps even by 10 degrees celcius.
The last ice age saw tempratures that were 10 degrees colder than they are now, and while
10 degrees might not seem like a lot, it definitely is.
A 10 degree colder winter will be extremely difficult for humans and wildlife to adapt
to.
Northern cities might have to create underground heated tunnels to get around in order for
pedestrians to escape the arctic like weather outside.
Its not just north America that will be affected.
Western europes winters will be extremely different too Weather patterns all around
the globe will change.
While the gigantic hurricanes in the film might not be realistic, A change in atmospheric
circulation could result in more hurricanes, which will disrupt ecosystems and have an
impact on agriculture.
Summer could be delayed by up to a month, and when it is summer, heatwaves and droughts
will be common.
Just like in the film, the day after tomorrow, northerners will flow into areas of the planet
to warmer areas, closer to the equator, possibly creating a refugee crisis.
So what are the chances of this happening?
Theres Around a 10 percent chance that it will happen in the 21st century.
Yet another reason for world governments to start seriously thinking about ways to help
our planet.

Top 10 Scary Colombia Urban Legends - Duration: 9:47.
Colombia is a beautiful country that is full of rich history and cultural traditions.
When people first think about Colombia, they often associate coffee or Colombian music.
But today, we are going to look at a different side of Colombia.
We are going to dive into the dark side and count down the top 10 scary Colombian urban
legends.
Hey how's it going you guys?
I'm your host Landon Dowlatsingh and welcome back to another most amazing videos.
If you guys love Urban Legends then click right over here, it'll take you to our urban
legends playlist.
Don't forget to give this video a thumbs up if you are loving our scary content.
Alright, enough of all of that.
Let's jump right into our list.
Starting things off in at number 10 we have El Silbon.
In this urban legend we have a very spoiled teenager.
One day he ordered his father to go hunting and bring him back a deer because he was craving
deer heart.
I usually crave McDonalds, not a deer heart…but I'm not here to judge anyone…
But when his father returned home empty handed, the boy murdered his father in cold blood,
removed his heart and liver and gave it to his mother to cook.
Whoa, this kid is savage.
Once his mother realized that this strange meat was her dead husband, she punished him
by whipping him and throwing hot pepper on the wounds and then she sent an angry dog
after him to continue on with the punishment.
Sounds like a logical punishment.
El Silbon is described as a thin and tall ghost who is known for his distinctive whistling.
He likes to carry a bag of bones from all of his victims and if you hear him whistling,
it means that it is too late and you are his next target.
I guess I'll be carrying around a whip and hot pepper sauce I I'm ever in a Colombian
forest to protect myself.
El Hombre Bufeo swims onto our list in at number 9.
This next urban legend is a little bit weird and it might make you want to avoid dolphins
in the near future.
Have you guys ever seen the Pink dolphin?
There is a legend about a handsome warrior who was condemned to become a pink dolphin
by the gods.
They were extremely jealous of his good looks so they thought this was a good way to get
rid of the competition.
But with every curse, there is always some sort of upside.
The warrior was also given the ability to convert into a man when he comes out on land
but he had to wear a hat to cover his blowhole.
Seems legit to me.
So anyways, this man goes around town, lures unsuspecting women and impregnates them.
The next day, they have no recollection of what just happened and within a few weeks
they discover that they are pregnant.
I guess this happens a lot to women in Colombia because many children who are born without
a known father actually have "Dolphin Man" registered as their father on official government
records.
La Madre Monte or otherwise known as Mother mountain climbs onto this list in at number
8.
Sounds peaceful right?
Wrong.
She lives in the jungle and bathes in the rivers.
But when she does, she causes flooding and heavy storms to nearby villages and cities.
Madre Monte will haunt people who steal land and she will curse them so that they won't
have a successful harvest.
She also hates unfaithful spouses, beggers and troublesome people so she punishes them
by placing a lot of objects in their way when they walk through the jungle.
They will eventually fall asleep from all of the physical exertion but they won't
wake up.
So basically, if you are a good and decent human being, she won't bother you.
But if you annoy her, prepare to face the consequences.
Things get heated in at number 7 with La Bola de Fuego.
This urban legend is about a 2-meter ball of fire that rapidly rolls around on dark
nights and it carries the spirit of a cursed insane woman.
This woman who was very quick tempered, evil and extremely jealous wife.
One day her husband asked her to do a long list of time-consuming and strenuous chores
that would probably take her all day.
So she became enraged and lost control.
She stormed into the house, heard her son crying in his crib and decided to decapitate
him.
After she realized what she had done, she went completely insane and she was cursed
by the spirits of the hills and she exploded into a ball of fire which is forced to roam
around the area in search of her son Juan.
Some people say that when they see the Bola de Fuego, they can see an ugly woman with
a headless body of a baby in one of her arms and an axe in the other.
And you are never ever supposed to say the name Juan…because if you do, you could probably
bet that this 2m ball of fire will hunt you down.
Chomping into number 6 is El Hombre Caiman.
Translated to English, El hombre Caiman means "Alligator man."
He had a really unhealthy obsession with watching women as they bathed in the river.
So, he decided to visit a sorcerer who prepared a potion that would temporarily convert him
into an alligator so that the women bathing in the river wouldn't be suspicious or feel
like they were being watched.
The sorcerer prepared two potions, one that would turn him into an alligator and another
one to turn him back into a man.
Well one thing lead to another and as he was transformed into an alligator the other potion
broke and spilled.
So now he has the body of an alligator and a human head.
And since then, woman were horrified and too scared to bathe in the river.
But now it is believed that El Hombre Caiman returns every St. Sebastian's Day to hunt
for victims.
La Llorona brings us to number 5.
According to the legend, she used to be a poor peasant girl who fell in love with a
rich nobleman.
There relationship was hidden from the rest of the world and they ended up having several
children together.
When the girl asked the nobleman to get married, he refused because their children were born
out of wedlock.
So, in a desperate attempt to be with the man she loved, the girl drowned her children
in the river.
When she told the nobleman what she had done, he still refused to be with her.
The girl was full of grief and depression so she actually went back to the river and
drowned.
But, because of her crime…she was cursed to roam the rivers looking for children for
all of eternity.
So, it is believed that the weeping woman wanders the river beds at night looking for
children to take them away.
And it is believed that she is an omen of death to those who see or hear her.
So yeah, don't be lurking around rivers at night in Columbia.
La Tunda breaks onto this list in at number 4.
If you explore the Colombian jungles, you might come across a woman with a wooden leg.
But be aware.
She is capable of shape shifting into someone that you know so that she can lure you further
into the jungle.
And once you are in her mercy, she will feed you shrimp that she has prepared especially
for you.
Okay, that doesn't sound awful…I mean I'd prefer chicken but I'll take free
shrimp any day.
But then again, while you are eating, she hypnotizes you so that she can do whatever
she wants.
She mostly likes to suck all of your blood or devour you like a wild animal.
So yeah, I guess it's better to avoid her at all costs regardless of the free shrimp.
Snatching number 3 is El Mohan.
Let's travel to the depths of the Amazon rainforest where you might find El Mohan.
He is an extremely hairy creature with long claws that is capable of shapeshifting and
he likes to abduct young girls to have his way with them.
Oh, and sometimes he has really red eyes and gold teeth.
He also enjoys capsizing boats in order to steal their bait and fishing equipment.
Is it just me or does the Amazon river sound like the scariest place on Earth?
It literally has anacondas, piranhas, sharks, tarantulas and now this scary creature.
I don't think I'll be visiting the amazon rainforest any time soon.
El Pollo Maligno makes it into number 2.
This translates to the evil chicken and I know this doesn't sound that scary but trust
me…this urban legend is pretty intense.
The evil chicken is an extremely mischievous creature that looks like a typical bird except
it's huge.
It will use some sort of whistling trick in order to attract people to their hunting grounds.
Once their unsuspecting victim is in sight, the evil chicken will devour them whole.
According to the urban legend, the only way to get rid of this chicken is to pray to Saint
Miguel nine times.
Or you know, avoid any whistling sounds in the near future.
El Boraro bites its way into number 1.
This ugly creature has backwards feet that are used to confuse its prey, he is extremely
tall, has pale skin but is covered with black fur, he has large ears, red eyes and huge
fangs.
This definitely doesn't sound like a creature that I would want to run into.
So basically, el boraro will use two ways to kill its victims.
First, he will use his urine which acts like a lethal poison.
And secondly, if he manages to catch you, he will use his arms to squeeze your body
into a pulp and then he'll drink it through a small hole that he makes in his victim's
head.
But luckily for us, he has no joints in his knees.
So, if you can some how make him fall down, you have a good chance
of getting away.
Well there you guys have it…

Running The Government Like A Business Was A Stupid Idea - Duration: 3:03.
You know, one of the biggest talking points from the 2012 presidential election when Mitt
Romney was the Republican candidate, it was let's run government like a business.
They thought Romney, former governor, but most importantly a businessman guy who amassed
a fortune of $250, million dollars, at least he would be the perfect man to try out this
run government like a business experiment, except for the fact that people forgotten.
Mitt Romney made his a hundreds of millions of dollars by starting being a member of Bain
capital, which basically just bought up smaller companies, stripped him down to the copper
and the walls, sold everything for a profit and then moved on to the next one.
They weren't savvy businessmen.
They were corporate predators and vultures and that's how they made all their money.
Luckily we didn't have to go through the Romney experiment because he lost the election in
2012 to Barack Obama.
Then 2016 came along and we got stuck with this guy, Donald Trump and republicans had
been telling us since day one, this is great.
We're going to run government like a business.
Unfortunately, they didn't tell us it was going to be like one of Trump's businesses,
you know, like Trump airlines, Trump steaks or Trump university or Trump's casinos, all
of the things that went bankrupt.
Trump water.
Yeah, all of those failed miserably because as it turns out, Donald Trump's not a great
businessman, but even more importantly, the United States government is not a business.
Now, they have damn sure been running it like one and we have the proof of that.
Why?
Because the richest in the country are making more money, but the rest of us, the workers,
the voters, everybody we're not.
We're the ones getting screwed.
They're taking away our protections just like any non-regulated corporation would do to
their workers.
They just gave themselves massive raises.
This week after Trump signed an executive order telling the rest of the federal workers
in the government, you don't get anything.
You can't have a raise this year.
Federal government shut down at the moment.
So we have 800,000 federal workers not getting paid.
Trump's getting paid.
Oh, he says he's not accepting his salary, but he's still a billionaire.
So what does it matter?
Pence is getting paid.
All those other millionaires and billionaires running his departments are getting paid and
we're getting screwed because our government's not even functioning at the moment.
Yeah.
We're running government just like a business and just as everyone expected.
It's been an absolute miserable failure for everyone in this country except those at the
very top.

IT'S OUT!! HILLARY, BILL NEVER #WANT THIS VIDEO PUBLIC - Duration: 10:06.
IT'S OUT!! HILLARY, BILL NEVER #WANT THIS VIDEO PUBLIC
well good evening and welcome to Tucker Carlson tonight 25 years ago this month exactly Bill
and Hillary Clinton took control of the Democratic Party and they basically
run it with a few exceptions ever since it's been a long time here's
a look back I still believe in a placeI experimented with marijuana at the
time - and I didn't like it and didn'tinhale you could put half of Trump supporters into
what I call the basket of deplorable 'z I did not have sexual relations
for that one mr. Winston
I can state unequivocally that as my husband has said these are false allegations it depends
upon what the meaning of the word is
the great story here or anybody willing to find it and write about it and explain it
is this vast right-wing conspiracy what difference at this point does
it make all right you know you're painting this is the biggest nothing burger ever
if you're a recent college graduate that's your entire life that's how long the Clintons
have been in control a
quarter century and for decades they've held control because they and their accolades have
ruthlessly stamped out numerous charges of sexual harassment and
assault brought against Bill Clinton suddenly out of nowhere that's no longer
working for them society wide backlashagainst sexual harassment by powerful producers actors
and politicians has finally turned and bit the Clintons themselves
just yesterday Democratic senator Kirsten Gillibrand she's the one
who filled Hillary Clinton's New York Senate seat when Hillary left it to become Secretary
of State said that Bill Clinton should have resigned during the
Monica Lewinsky scandal in response Gillibrand was blasted by Hillary Clinton's longtime
spokesman flee brains he tweeted this over 20 years he took the
Clintons endorsements money and seat hypocrite but senator Gillibrand is not
alone in turning on the Clintons liberal blogger mattock Lyceus who defended them for years
who works at Fox he now says the president should have resigned back then
at an event in Miami former DNC chair Donna Brazile also very close to
the Clintons says that Bill Clinton's accusers deserve to be heard where's this coming from
what does it mean other than the end of the Clinton era finally
and completely Chris Hahn as an attorney he spent years working for Senator Chuck Schumer
of New York a longtime Clinton L and he joins us to me Chris thanks for joining
us anytime doctor thanks for having me I'm not gonna pile on the
Clintons actually I'm gonna say something that I didn't think I would ever say I agree
with flee brains in this case I think that senator Gillibrand
is basically trading the Clintons like the Clintons treated women
she used them and now she's discarding them and I think it is contemptible wouldn't you
agree no I look I mean she's got a good opinion
and I think it's a good voice that needs to be heard and let's face it
Tucker I think that opinions on some of the things that happened in the 90s have evolved
dramatically in this country particularly in the last you know ten months
or so and I think that there is a people looking back on
what happened not just with Bill Clinton but Anita Hill and and Justice Thomas with a whole
new light and they are looking at I were much younger you might be
able to pull that over on me because I'd be like really people didn't worry
about rape in the 1990s but I was there actually and Justice Thomas was never accused of any
physical contact of any kind he's accused of saying sexual things
to Anita Hill we can debate whether he did or not whatever accused
of assault in any way Bill Clinton was credibly accused of forcible violent rape by a woman
who was not a political opponent he was a Democrat and she told a
bunch of people about it at the time and she was attacked by fellow Democrats
dismissed by the press and made to feel that she'd done something wrong that was wrong
then and it's wrong now and what I find inside is all these people attacked her
then and now they're like oh well you know Sanders but since no Rick's
always been will it's always been bad I agree Tucker I mean they're you're not getting any
argument me you know and you
look back on it now and and and there's a lot of disgust when you look back on that
both on you know both from people on the left and the right and the way things
were done towards women who came through with allegations and I think the
initial instinct that is happening now for women to be believed until they're not is
probably the right way to go and I think we're gonna see more of that and I
think it's empowering for women and I think that we're gonna see less sexual
harassment in the workplace and we're gonna see women move farther up the chain because
I think having more women in power is gonna stop this all together and
I think that's a great thing for America let's talk first of all that's
nonsense social science doesn't back you
up and there been studies done this and if they don't say what you say they say but moreover
Hillary Clinton just ran for president a year ago she's married to
the guy riot of rape and she attacked the she did attacked the women who
accused him of sexonds and she didn't do in the night she did it last year while running
for president and she's still denying it so she wanted the most job in America
and she's attacking the women so how does your theory work exactly Tucker
you know on the Clintons I love them I think that they I think though was a
great president I think she would have been a great president they are no longer going
to be the leaders of the Democratic Party that is very very clear at
any point in about a year and a half we'll pick a new nominee to run for
president and he or she will be the leader of the Democratic Party going forward until
they're not president or until they lose the president and the conversation I look I agree
with you and actually I would love to have a longer conversation about
which wing in the party is descendant at this point but I can't I just
we need right I don't want to do a week of sex stories about the Clintons because
they're off the stage that I
agree with you I hope this is the last one we ever dare gone look I agree with you but
we still Goldberg if the New York Times is not gone she's a column there
she's totally fraudulent a fraudulent feminist he's writing this
quote because of broader it's allegations Bill Clinton no longer has a place in decent
Society now we can say Bill Clinton's off the stage Michele Goldberg's
not off the stage she still has a platform and people within her and
take her seriously where was she a year ago these alligator I'm 20 years old why should
we let Michelle Goldberg this ersatz feminist off the hook for just now
recognizing rape is wrong like why should I forgive her I'm pretty you
know I've seen Michelle Goldberg I don't think she was writing a column for
The New York Times in 1996 okay look look Tucker you're gonna hold Hillary Clinton responsible
for our husband's crimes that's ridiculousno I'm not I'm not
actually and by thenay Goldberg beat yes exactly why
because Michelle Goldberg and lots of other people on the Left thought it was more important
than that they have power then that some woman get justice okay fine
but you can't pretend to be a feminist simultaneously which is what
people like Michelle Berwick and I'm just not just her it's it's the entire feminist
establishment that covered up for life's crisis they wanted him in office
and I just think basically held accountable for that not the Clintons
they're defenders like I said I think there's been a major evolution in this
country and I think that's a good thing and I think things are gonna change and we're
not gonna be seeing these things covered up and swept under the rug so that's
on the so here's recognize that is anything thoroughly good for the
current president people didn't think rape was a big deal after during the campaign I
thought my Democrats were the party of women so but you're telling me they
didn't take it seriously dear talker the person who was accused
of rape was not running for president last year his wife with my knowledge woman here
was never sick she was never she was never accused of rape she believed
her husband that would help crime tougher believe that she did
believe her husband for a second and that Donis told my intelligence she
attacked well on women who accused him I was there I covered this in 1998 and she led the
charge against Monica Lewinsky who did nothing wrong she's like a kid and
mrs. winger is the one who said she's a stalker in a nut case and don't
believe her she did that yeah wasn't it by leaving her husband I think look Tucker
I think Monica Lewinsky is owed an apology by a lot of people yeah myself included and
I think everybody I think everybody on the left and the right who attacked
that woman and painted her with a scarlet letter
when she was just a 20-something I cross
our eyed person I feel that there's nobody in in my lifetime who I feel we've treated
worse than her politically I think that's something that needs a bad
way the FBI ought to apologize to her also they sweated her they
threatened her she didn't do anything wrong I mean you know she's a kitchen intern but
I agree there are many people responding that woman's life but Hillary Clinton
is one of them my only point is when it was politically expedient all
these fake feminists defended Hillary Clinton and now that's he's off the stage like oh
I couldn't bird myself just kidding he's guilty well look look I
I don't I don't think they're fake feminists Tucker I think they were compartment compartmentalizing
some of their feelings on different things I know
a lot of women I know a lot of
women I know a lot of women who do not like Bill Clinton to this day and a very critical
of Bill Clinton because of the Monica Lewinsky scandal oh because of the
other things brought up against it and these are liberal women Chris I hope
that we have closed the book on the Clintons I will see you back here on another topic
well I think I think we have thanks men fired FBI director james comey
heading back to capitol hill later today our next
guest will be in the room behind a closed door when the former FBI director
testifies in round two so what are they hoping to hear House Judiciary Committee member congressman
Jim Jordan joins us
right now as you can see from statuary hall congressman what's the number one opic you
want to talk to the former FBI

RED ALERT!! THE MASSIVE TROOP PREPARING FOR THIS! TRUMP FINALLY ANNOUNCES NATIONAL EMERGENCY! - Duration: 11:49.
RED ALERT!!
THE MASSIVE TROOP PREPARING FOR THIS!
TRUMP FINALLY ANNOUNCES NATIONAL EMERGENCY!
President Trump in Texas today for afirst-hand look at what he calls a humanitarian and security
crisis at our southern border two days after a major
oval office address and day 20 into the government shutdown which remains at a stalemate before
he left the president vowed not to cave on his desired border wall
with Mexico and said he has the absolute right to declare a national
emergency if he can't reach a deal with the Democrats I may do it if this doesn't work
out probably I will do it I would almost say definitely if we declare
a national emergency we have a tremendous amount of funding and while
on the ground in McAllen Texas the president doubled down on his claim that Mexico will
be paying for the wall when I say Mexico's gonna pay for the wall do you
think they're gonna write a check for 20 billion or 10 billion or five
billion or two cents no they're paying for the wall in a great trade deal billions and
billions of dollars a year will be made now as
opposed to NAFTA which was a disaster from then let a Border Patrol agent explain the
need for a wall just yesterday we apprehended 133 people from countries
other than Central America and Mexico that includes individuals from
India Pakistan China Romania Ecuador Nicaragua on and on and on and so I know we keep talking
about the family units and unaccompanied children and that makes
up about typically about 60 70 % we've seen a change over the last couple
of weeks where that number is less than 50% of the apprehensions we make here in South
Texas we have 55 miles of fencing
in this sector we started a job in 2006 we need to finish that job we've got the personnel
we need the technology we need the resources we need the infrastructure in
order to you know in order to control this border and manage it alright we're
gonna take it around the table Greg let me start with the Border Patrol agent that's
you've been recommending this like let the Border Patrol agents speak for
the need because they know what is going on down well it's not just the
agents it's also engineers because we hear that we need this kind of conversation requires
a lot of nuance unfortunately when you inject
politics into anything the first thing that disappears is nuance and compromise it's an
politics is the carbon monoxide of thinking it's odorless its colorless and
when it enters the room all ideas die and so what they do is so nuance of
compromises drives me crazy is replaced with the prison of two ideas so even though chuck
agrees with Donald Trump and has agreed with him he has to go to his
respected prison he has to go to that other prison cell and he can't come
out even though he agrees with Donald Trump so everybody has to choose their side and
they have to live in their own prisons and in every day this goes on it creates
more and more libertarians or people who are so disgusted by politics
they're forced to talk to their family instead which is good but by the way the real winner
at this border visit Ted Cruz's beard you went from Ted Cruz to cruise
missile I mean I look at that I go I'm not messing with that guy he
should if he had grown that beard in 2015 he might be president or vice president would
not be lying Ted no I've tried I think I grow beard except it stops
around the chin and it looks like you have hair here but not on yours yeah
I have like mutton chops is that what they're called mutton chops and then I get food in
it which is great this is like two weeks I haven't shaved want any beard
for you yeah I can grow a beard I had a beard over vacation but I must say I was
worried about you know those terrorists crossing the border when I saw that guy standing behind
the president and I realized it was Ted Cruz trying to make up
for not a border wall but they a sense of a chin no I'm saying just like
you said what do you say cruise missile let me ask you Jesse about this today there was
an article this morning that a couple of the Democratic freshmen who just
won the Democrats who beat Republicans right in the close races but they
beat them fair and square now they're starting to say we're actually
for border security and this is not necessarily good that we are going to be in a position
of not being able to build any coalition's or get anything done if this
is our first attempt out of the
gate do you think that there are cracks in the Democratic opposition to getting President
Trump this money for the wall I think the cracks are coming from the
folks are burning up the phone lines that's what politicians respond to is letters and
phone calls if you start calling and and clogging up the phone lines
they think that their constituents are angry and they want border security
and they will respond that's the best part of democracy just pick up the phone and tell
these guys what to do they work for the people not the other way around so
you can see that needle moving a little bit and I honestly think this is
the first time Trump has used the
traditional presidential squeeze play on an issue you do the oval office address you do
the little photo-op with the white hat do the social media you ask people
to call their congressmen you maybe have a couple rallies or something
like that take a trip to the Buddha take a trip and then you threaten something and and
right now it could be working what the Democrats are trying to do though
is they're trying to prolong this so the paychecks aren't paid one week
and that inflicts a new pain into the conversation and that may affect the dynamic a little bit
so if they can time the Paycheck miss a couple more weeks even
time it with the molar weight no I think that you imagine that double whammy right there
yeah I still think that you said he was wrapping up what
whose rat molar well but here's the thing I'm gonna run a theater this is my theory
I don't have any no one has told me this but I think that the president Jedidiah
tomorrow is going to usurp the Democrats that he will declare this
national emergency and be and be able to say I ended the shutdown because the Democrats
wouldn't do it I have the authority to do this national emergency there's
controversy around that but thathe'll be able to say I'm
shut down I've obviously proved the need for this border fence then he'll get credit for
ending the shutdown but then you'll have everyone coming after him
400 you acted unilaterally you don't care about Congress you know you didn't do this
the right way so I mean I think I think that would be I really think it
would be a mistake for him to declare a national emergency even though I do think he has the
authority to do it in this case I think it would be a political
don't you think he's marching his way up to yeah oh absolutely because
he keeps saying now oh yes you know I I'm within my right to do it and if Democrats
don't help I'm gonna have to do it but to answer a question before to I
think that a lot of Democrats are coming forward and saying to people
other Democrats this is one-tenth of one percent of the budget we're talking about here do
you really want to be on record as not wanting to give a five
point six billion dollars for the border when we're asking for twenty sevenbillion dollars
in foreign aid I mean this is not this is not a good position to
be and this is a fraction and these are the very Democrats who have been on
record as we've said in the past that's coming forth in favor of border security when you
look at the polling around the country people care about this issue they
want the border secure they may not want the wall because that wall has been
tied with President Trump and now they associate that with him but they want border security
so I think some of us have to be really careful about this and and
frankly if they are held responsible for the shutdown I think that's gonna be
a big let's see I think that one but Democrats are not being held responsible for so in fact
in the David Drucker in the Washington Examiner they said it looks
to him like the Republicans have taken themselves hostage and they're
trying to do things like oh you know what you can get your tax refunds food stamps won't
be delayed for people they're trying to ameliorate the damage that
comes from what is now I think a 20 day shutdown second longest in history
and the difficulty for Republicans especially Republicans in states like Colorado Cory Gardner
or even at least from Mackowski up in Alaska states
either with Hispanic population significant or a lot of federal workers is that they feel
that this is going to hurt them with voters so they're starting
to hear from their constituents hey this isn't such a great deal and to
go to what Jedediah was talking about I think the news of today was that he didn't declare
the National emergency and I think that part of that is
that Republicans maybe I should say Republicans I should say conservatives
remember how strongly conservatives criticize presidents in the past for acting as in a
tyrannical or despotic way and just saying I'm going around Congress
never once in American history
as an emergency been declared when the president could not get funding for an issue through
the Congress of the United States and went around the Congress that is
not in keeping with our Constitution I think a lot of conservatives have real
problems with it I thought the news of the day was that there were people from a hundred
and forty different countries or 40 different countries besides Central
America that were trying to cross the border that they apprehended
hey it's like a United Nations migration into the United States of America and the Border
Patrol said Pakistan India Romania people from Romania won they're coming
- you can't call the president races not he's trying to stop your mania
some check the airports if you really
want to see people from all over which is the primary source of illegal immigration
let's actually have a conversation one lasting harmful effect the
Southern California women get sexually assaulted that's a lie here's
the real issue right now politico's reporting that Republicans in the Senate went to the
president said let's make a deal of reopen the government and then - let's
talk about upgrading border security that's the Democrats were said
okay but the president said no you're never gonna get the border security though you'll
get the world you get in
the wall any Ronald Reagan mistakes - you have to make when you go to Democrats and
you say you know what we'll do this okay you cave and then you never
get your into the Democrats hear about that's so much more sure to get -
so I got a tease we're gonna say so it just sounded like something else I don't know making
an unannounced trip to Iraq as he visits the Middle East to reassure our our
allies that the u.s. is committed to defeating Isis ahead of a withdrawal of American
troops from Syria White House strategic communications director
Mercedes slapped defending that strategy we've done our work in Syria which was
that to destroy the territorial Caliphate as we know its Department of Defense that
comes up with the operational plans to make sure that we are
able to withdraw our troops safely this is about the safety of our allies
and the safety of our troops and make sure that there's an orderly withdrawal in the
proper training this outcome mark

13 WWE Superstars Who Should Be In The WWE Hall of Fame 2019 - Duration: 10:41.
Today we present you 13 WWE Superstars who should be in the WWE Hall of Fame in 2019
13. Demolition
One of the most visually striking teams of all time,
Demolition were the WWF's answer
to the Road Warriors
which had become one of the most successful teams in the NWA.
Flattening all against them, with manager Mr. Fuji,
Ax, Smash, and later Crush were a formidable team
becoming three-time WWF Tag Champions,
and having one of the longest reigns in history.
So with all this success,
many fans have been left wondering
why this team haven't been inducted years ago.
The reason may be that Ax sued to company
for the rights to Demolition, and teamed with Smash
as part of a concussion lawsuit in recent years.
With these bridges burnt,
it seems unlikely the WWE will ever induct this iconic team.
12. Rob Van Dam
The only man to hold the WWE
and ECW Championships simultaneously
Rob Van Dam was successful wherever he went,
whether it was as Mr. Money In the Bank in 2006,
or the longest reigning ECW TV Champion.
One of the biggest stars to emerge from the InVasion,
RVD is best remembered for his time in the mid-card,
dazzling fans for years with his skills.
Unfortunately, RVD left the company
under not-so-pleasant circumstances,
being pulled over by a cop for drug possession,
less than a month after becoming World Champion.
Quickly being forced to drop both titles,
and leaving the company next year
RVD is seldom mentioned on-screen
though the performances he gave will last forever.
11. Chyna
A pioneering Superstar
Chyna broke ground in the WWE
being the first women to take on her male counterparts.
The only-female Intercontinental Champion
it is clear there is support for her Hall of Fame induction,
with her mother asking for it
and Sean 'X-Pac' Waltman saying he would love to induct her.
Sadly, Chyna passed away
Sadly, Chyna passed away,
and Triple H has said that whilst he feels she should be inducted
her post-WWE career ventures,
namely her adult film career,
is what is keeping her omitted,
a slightly hypocritical statement
when you look at other Hall of Famers
such as Sunny
and Mike Tyson.
Hopefully in 2019,
WWE will accept the Ninth Wonder of the World,
and allow Chyna her rightful spot in the Hall of fame.
10. The nWo
A team that has been heavily rumoured to being inducted this year,
the nWo is arguably the greatest faction in wrestling.
With Hogan signing a new legend's deal,
and the WWE promoting the controversial trio on the Network
it seems that the company does have plans for the group.
That's not to say every single member of the group should be inducted
as we can't see Dennis Rodman being inducted
into the prestigious class anytime soon,
, but Hogan, Nash and Hall
are certainly worthy of being inducted for the second times in their careers
alongside nWo creative genius, Eric Bischoff.
9. Irwin R. Schyster
Back in the 1980s and early 90s
it seemed that every profession was represented in wrestling
whether it be a dentist,
police officer,
or even a taxman.
A 3-time WWF Tag Team Champion,
Mike Rotunda's made IRS into one of the funniest
yet most despicable characters of the time,
with the Superstar's sheer talent
only giving fans more reasons to boo him.
Having the legend inducted into the Hall of Fame
would be a great bookend to his career
and a touching family moment,
with Rotunda's sons Bo Dallas and Bray Wyatt
Wyatt being first choice to induct their truly legendary father
whose villainous tactics
and clean-cut look have stood the test of time
decades later.
8. The British Bulldogs
Feuding with the likes of The Hart Foundation
the Islanders
and the Fabulous Rougeaus
the team of Dynamite Kid and Davey Boy Smith
were one of the hottest tag teams of the 80s.
But despite their success, neither man has been inducted
with the Bulldog sadly passing in 2002,
and the Dynamite Kid passing late last year.
Like many Superstars on this list, it seems that out-of-the-ring antics
is what is stopping this team from being inducted,
with Dynamite Kid having more
than his fair share of real-life rivals.
But with the WWE recently forgiving
the likes of Jeff Jarrett,
there's still hope left for this legendary team.
7. Bam Bam Bigelow
Much like Vader
the most impressive part of Bam Bam Bigelow
was just how fast the super- heavyweight could move.
And whilst he had minor success in the WWF,
Bam Bam did main event WrestleMania 11,
and made opponent and NFL star Lawrence Taylor look like a million bucks.
Leaving the WWF in 1995,
the Beast from the East had his best success in WCW
and ECW,
even holding the ECW World Title,
before passing away in 2007.
A true icon of his time,
with his signature flame tattoos on his head,
Bam Bam proved himself to be one of the best big guys in wrestling history,
and is worthy of the Hall of Fame.
6. Miss Elizabeth
She may not have been a wrestler,
but Miss Elizabeth certainly left a lasting impression with the fans.
A crucial part of many Superstar's careers,
Elizabeth is fondly remembered for her time managing Randy Savage
with her calm demeanour
countering the Macho Man's off-the-wall personality.
An instrumental part of the MegaPowers exploding <i><b><u><font color=#00000000></u></b></i>
and the main event of WrestleMania 5,
Elizabeth sadly passed at 42,
meaning any induction would come posthumously
Despite this, there's no denying that Miss Elizabeth
should take her place alongside the Macho Man
in the WWE Hall of Fame,
as the true first lady of wrestling.
5. The Steiner Brothers
Whether it was in the WWF,
WCW,
New Japan or TNA,
The Steiner Brothers were natural winners wherever they went.
With over a dozen tag titles for the duo,
the pair were unstoppable,
until they went their separate ways,
after Scott Steiner transitioned into Big Poppa Pump.
Whilst Scott entertained millions of fans
with his in-ring skill
and bizarre promos,
he has burnt plenty of bridges along the way
once calling Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, the biggest douchebags in wrestling.
It therefore seems unlikely that Scott,
and therefore Rick
will ever enter the WWE Hall of Fame,
but we all know
to never say never in WWE.
4. The Honky Tonk Man
When it comes to mysteries in wrestling,
there's few greater than the question
as why the Honky Tonk Man isn't already
in the WWE Hall of Fame.
The longest reigning Intercontinental Champion,
Honky's Elvis impersonation
and in-ring ability
dazzled fans,
with the Superstar battling with some of the all-time greats
including the Ultimate Warrior
and Jake Roberts.
The Honky Tonk Man was reportedly offered a spot in 2010,
but turned the company down
and whilst he may be an icon of his time,
his reasons for abstaining from the Hall of Fame
remain a mystery.
3. Vader
With his incredible size and deceptive speed, Big Van Vader was
one of the best super-heavyweights to ever grace a WWE ring.
A three-time WCW World Champion, Vader is easily worthy of the Hall of Fame,
and said in interviews how much he wished to be inducted, before his passing in 2018.
Whilst stars such as Mark Henry, Hillbilly Jim and The Godfather probably could've waited
the company really should've given the master
of the Vader bomb his due, especially when news broke about his failing health.
Already a member of the Wrestling Observer Hall of Fame,
hopefully the WWE will see sense and find a spot for the greatest Super-Heavyweight of an entire generation.
2. The Undertaker
Debuting at the 1990 Survivor Series, The Undertaker has
become unquestionably the greatest character in wrestling history.
But over the past decade, it's clear to all, that the Deadman is slowing down.
Now wrestling a handful of matches a year, if we're lucky
2019 could be the year that the Phenom hangs up his boots.
The only thing stopping this though, is the Undertaker himself,
who refuses to retire, and after facing Rusev, John Cena and DX this year,
is reportedly prepaing for a WrestleMania rematch against Shawn Michaels.
If this match turns out to be true though, it could be a fitting end
to the Deadmn's legendary career, with the Undertaker hopefully taking his rightful spot in the Hall of Fame <i><b><u><font color=#00000000></u></b></i>
1. Owen Hart
The death of Owen Hart at Over the Edge 1999
remains to be one of the darkest days in wrestling.
Owen had been one of the most popular Superstars, both with the fans and with his colleagues,
so it's understandable just how devesated his family were when the 39-year-old died.
The reason he hasn't been inducted already though,
is his widow Martha blames the WWF for his death, and owns the legal rights to his name.
Having Owen take his place in the Hall of Fame alongside his brother Bret
and father Stu would be great for the fans, with Mark Henry even pleading with Martha during his own induction in 2018.
With that said though, fans should respect the decision of Martha,
as whilst the WWE Universe lost a great wrestler, her and their children lost a husband and father.
Well guys that's our list, who else should be there in WWE Hall Of Fame that's n ot there already ?

Why This 'Patriotic' Millionaire Wants to Raise Taxes on the Rich | NowThis - Duration: 14:01.
Hello! Hey!
I have guests! Ok!
100% of my net worth I would write it to the U.S. government if it would solve the problem.
And my children, who will all become millionaires when I die, then they would lose all that.
I think that's too bad.
We had this piece commissioned. We go to Saratoga to the horse races every year, love Saratoga.
There's not a brush stroke on that artwork. So the whole thing is painted by dribbling
paint on the piece and then moving it around like this so the paint runs and he paints
the Statue of Liberty, and as I've told you before, I'm kind of an American fanatic.
I love this country at a very, very deep level and the Statue of Liberty to me is a great
representation of what this country is all about and should be all about.
This is scary.
Anybody that reads this and doesn't understand this is precisely what bothers me with my
country because my class, we wealthy people, are the ones that are not only contributing
to this, but supporting this mindset and all for our own short term, our own life's gain.
I mean, we're all gonna die. So why would we want to do those kinds of things to our
fellow man just so we can achieve more power, or more money, or more houses? Why would we
want to do that when we're still gonna die? I just think the goodness will, should, win
out. I'm not naive enough to think that it always will, but it should win out. Where
was it? Oh yeah, there it is.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[Producer] What'd you think?
I mean the fact — if I were ever going to write a book, I would
like to write it myself. And he's never written any of these things himself. He's always had
ghostwriters that have written everything for him. His books, I think, are kind of a joke.
The guy doesn't read. He has no desire to know detail. He's just not a deep dive guy.
He's an emotional, seat-of-the-pants decision maker, and that is not the way you
run a country. I also don't think it's the way you write a book either, but that's
neither here nor there.
So here's where the pretty magic is done. This is where we actually print the card.
We're a what is known as a surface printing company, which means we literally print on
top of an existing pre-manufactured plastic card. The cards already have the magnetic
stripes on them and it's just a card that's manufactured to the same specifications of
your standard Visa or MasterCard material.
So you can see, the card had no ink on it before,
and now it's a fully printed product. And when it started at the other end of this
press, it was only white, white on both sides.
When faced with this question about being a good business decision to pay people a living wage,
it all goes back, I think, to what Henry Ford said a hundred years ago, and that is
he wants his people to be able to make enough money to buy his cars. That's a good sound
business decision and I can get that. If you pay money to the people who actually spend it,
then they're going to lift the economy. If we lifted the wages across the country,
if we took our average wage, pick any number, a dollar an hour, five dollars an hour,
whatever that number is, and we lift wages up, it is unequivocally going to go into consumption.
And consumption represents 66% of the U.S. economy. So, would we be better off putting
billions of extra dollars in the hands of the people who are gonna go to J.C. Penney's,
who's struggling, or to Wal-Mart, who's not, or to General Motors and buy another car?
Would we be better putting it in their pockets or would we be better off putting it in the
pockets of people like me who already have plenty of money, who, I already own everything
that I want. I'm not gonna go spend the money on consumables, because I've already consumed
all that I want. Why not put the money in the pockets of those who will spend it?
It's just to me a good business decision.
Hey, Ruth. How you doing?
Doin' ok.
Great.
Ruth is one of my number one employees.
Been with me for what? 8 or 10 years?
Oh no!
It's been a while.
Ruth is, she's what, 24 now?
Almost 25.
25 years old and works 4, 5 days a week, right?
Yeah, she works every day.
Can I tell them how old you are?
I don't care.
She's 94.
I'm 95.
95!
Sorry, sorry, sorry.
95, works every day. Most amazing employee we have, bar none.
Well you know, this whole discussion about taxes over the years has always been a shiny
object discussion in my opinion. What they do is they'll hold up the shiny object in
front of you and it talks about how it's gonna grow jobs, how it'll improve the economy,
and that the country is going to do a lot better, and oh by the way, while that's happening,
then they'll pay more taxes. But the truth of the matter is, they've got another object
behind their back, which is really what the object is that they're focused on, and that
is keeping more of their money. Do you really think the Koch's honestly care about whether
or not the economy does better for everybody else? They don't care about that. They care
about figuring out a construct that will allow them to keep more of their money. And it all
comes back down to that single term, and that's greed. That's all there is to it.
So you tell me: Where is the money going in this country?
It's going to we rich people and we least need it.
Hey, Red, how you doing buddy? Ashley. Jorge.
So what I tell people, typically, when we're
doing these tours, is that in there, in the press room, is where we make the card pretty,
but out here's where we actually make them work. In other words, this is where we encode
the data on the magnetic stripe so that the cards will function in the retail environment
where they're going to ultimately be used.
One thing that I'm particularly proud of, because it's a very expensive thing for us
to do, but our building is completely 100% heated and cooled year-round with geothermal systems.
So what we did when we built the building, we drilled 33 300-foot holes that are under
our parking lot and so we exchange the warm variance in the ground temperature in the
wintertime and put that warm air into the building and in the summertime we switch that
process. We take the hot air in the building, put it into the ground, and bring out cold
air to cool the building. It's a fairly significant savings in utilities, but obviously, I think
it's the right thing to do from an ecological perspective.
My goal is, when I retire, I'm gonna learn how to cook, I'm gonna learn how to play
the piano, and I'm gonna learn how to speak Spanish. Those are my 3 goals when I retire.
Doors were opened, opportunities were presented, that I probably wouldn't have been presented with,
or the doors would not have opened as easily, had I not been a white guy.
And the thing that amazes me is the white guys that just don't want to recognize that.
I'm not saying that we need to be handicapped in any other way, you know, cut one of legs off,
or only let us get 2 years of college so we can be fairly handicapped,
I'm just saying, let's be aware of that.
Let's be appreciative of the fact that that is the case, and then
when we do reach plateaus, like the plateau that I'm at, then we'll feel some degree
of responsibility to give back, to help others. I mean, people that are naive enough to not
realize that this country was built on immigration and everybody was not always white,
everybody were not European white guys, that people of color live and they exist out there and
they have as much right to the same opportunities as anybody does.
Look, I read everything Ayn Rand ever wrote. But I never subscribed to all of her philosophies,
and that is: 'government is all bad.' That we need to get rid of all the government.
Even those people who say that we should have small government, in fact, some of them say
we should have no government, they don't really believe that. They really believe that
they don't want the part of government that does the things for our citizens
That they don't want to have taken care of.
They don't want universal health care.
They don't want a mother that has multiple children
for her to have health care for her kids,
or even food for her kids, or education.
Everybody needs to be taken care of in this society.
I am in the health care center of the United States of America.
Nashville is where Managed Health Care, Hospital Management Ownership,
this is the core.
But even we don't want to deliver health care to everyone
and I think it's a travesty.
Everybody in this country,
if not the world, but certainly this country, deserves health care. You don't need to
have to make a decision whether you're going to eat or not or you're gonna go to the doctor.
If you're sick, you should be able to go to the doctor and receive health care
as opposed to buying a loaf of bread and some baloney. You shouldn't have to make that
decision, but a lot of people in this country do and it's just wrong. It's just wrong.
It doesn't need to be this way.
Did I answer your question?
And we are headed down to see, or attempt to see, someone at Senator Lamar Alexander's office.
Senator Alexander is one of the two senators that represent, one of the two Republican
senators I might add, that represent the state of Tennessee in Washington, D.C..
Senator Alexander's been around the political circle of Tennessee for all of his adult life.
In fact, to be quite honest with you, I don't think he's ever had a regular job.
I have attempted to see Senator Alexander in Washington, D.C
on at least two occasions and have never
been able to get him to meet with me. We have met with a couple of his staffers on a few occasions,
but Senator Alexander's always been too busy with other things to meet with me.
I suspect that there's something connected to the fact that I have an opposing view to
his political position on a lot of things. But the one thing I would like to talk with
him today about is the minimum wage.
I know I can get into that spot but I just wonder if there's another one that's a little bigger.
This guy did a great job of parking.
Well here we are. In the elevator going up to
see somebody that doesn't want to see us. It's not always easy being me.
Not it.
Let me ask this guy.
Can you tell me where Senator Alexander's office is?
It's right across the hall is, first door on your right.
Ok, thanks a lot.
You're welcome.
Oh well. No video.
All he was doing was meeting with me. That's all he was doing. All I felt like he was doing
was just fulfilling his obligation to meet with a constituent. And that's all.
I had no feeling of understanding or agreement or empathy whatsoever. You know, it's hard for
me to believe though, I mean I would say this, right? I don't see how anybody can see it differently.
I don't see how anybody can feel differently about the minimum wage law
than the way I feel because of the position that I have on it I think is irrefutable and
that is that there are a lot of employers who would take advantage of unsophisticated
workers and pay them as little as they possibly could. I don't see how anybody can fight argument.
I don't know what what counter they could offer that would make that issue go away.
And he offered nothing.
All my wealthy friends think I'm crazy.
I think they're crazy.
I think they're the ones that are missing the boat.
And it just amazes me that they don't understand how shortsighted
their approach to running a country is and it will not last. We cannot continue to run
this country the way we are for long.
It may last our lifetimes, but that's pretty selfish, isn't it?
That we don't concern ourselves more with our children, and probably more
importantly our grandchildren, that's a pretty selfish shortsighted view
and I don't think it's really the American way.

Corsair Slipstream Wireless Technology Explained! - Duration: 4:54.
what's up everyone Eber here with Hardware Canucks we're still here at
CES 2019 might just pass by me if you didn't notice probably you might not
notice but anyways we're still here the show get trying to bring you the best
content or more content from the show floor but I want to talk about Corsair's
new slipstream wireless technology and what and why it's super important for
the future of gaming peripherals like keyboards mice and headsets so let's get
started but first huge shout out to our sponsors Corsair Phanteks Razer MSI and
Thermaltake because without them this trip really would not have been possible
now a few days ago we posted a video about Corsair's new mice for 2019 and if
you're interested in checking that out link is right over here
but essentially we did talk a little bit about slipstream technology but we
didn't really get too much into it and the reason is because we didn't have
any information about the new tech but after having a one-on-one session with
Corsair we have a lot actually there's a lot to be excited about this new
technology and the fact that it's actually shipping on a $50 Mouse like
the harpoon Wireless is pretty amazing now the intent for slipstream is to
provide improvements for how wireless communications are handled with it
response time should decrease ranges will get boosted and there should be
less issues in areas with high wireless traffic basically what slipstream does
is use the 2.4 gigahertz spectrum but with a proprietary protocol that's been
developed by Corsair that port O'Call allows supporting peripherals to handle
twice the number of wireless packets within a millisecond
there's also intelligent frequency shift which actively scans the wireless
spectrum to find the best transmit frequency so that's a lot of technical
stuff to digest but what does that really mean for gamers well on a mouse
like the harpoon wireless you're gonna get some more millisecond response times
but supposedly are also expected to get about up to 60 hours of battery life
with just a single charge and you could also use this male 60 feet away from the
actual receiver and I'm kind of starting to wonder why would you even use that
feature I mean for HTPC setups sure but 60 feet
away is just like I just I mean it's cool tech but I want to know your
thoughts on that particular you know feature in the comments down below
basically the harpoon Wireless is the first in the lineup
coming peripherals that will have slipstream technology but Corsair said
that the biggest potential for it will be within wireless headsets the problem
with current wireless headsets is that they do typically lack range and in some
cases they do encounter interferences and the microphone quality is just not
that great and we've encountered a more experienced them with previous wireless
headset reviews now slipstream basically eliminates all of these issues by
basically providing a high bandwidth connection that allows for downstream a
high definition a game audio as well as lossless upstream voice communication at
the same time that's just not possible with today's current wireless standards
another interesting thing that Corsair mentioned is range on these headsets
could be around a hundred feet which is pretty amazing and the last thing that I
want to mention about slipstream is that up to four devices can run off a single
USB controller which is actually pretty awesome because concerning laptops are
slowly starting to get rid of you know full-size type-a ports and just getting
you know a few ports this is a great way to you know be able to connect your
wireless headset your peripheral so you are the peripherals and just control
them via a single USB receiver the other thing that I wanted to discuss quickly
is Corsair's Capellix X LEDs because they could be a game-changer in many ways
traditional LEDs are mounted to a large surface and then there are separate
controllers that require space corsair is now mounting their LEDs directly to
the PCB which increases density brightness and overall efficiency this
is a quick example showing the space necessary to mount 132 Capellix RGB
LEDs versus a traditional RGB strip it's just really amazing to see this kind of
technology miniaturizing in terms of what it means for products well there's
a couple ways to look at Capellix because of its lower power consumption
peripherals with the technology will provide much better battery life heat
output will also be lower so incorporating them into things like
memory and motherboards will come with less trade-offs as well
Corsair was also showing off their first Capellix product with the Dominator
platinum RGB it uses 12 individually addressable LEDs per module for some
crazy-looking lighting effects and remember this is just where corsair
starting so it'll be interesting to see where they go from here so there you
guys have it it's really awesome to see a company like Corsair taking things
differently with you know something like slipstream technology and of course you
know a technology like complex with their RGB LED setup but I'm looking
forward to what they can come upon in the next or their upcoming products for
2019 and of course the years to come but yeah let me know what you guys think
about the two new things that we discussed in this video in the comments
down below I'm Evo retiree canucks thank you so

RobotZoo Sydney Home Show - Duration: 2:04.
- Hi I'm Paul, from Robot Zoo at the Sydney Home Show.
What I'd like to do, is show you our robots.
We got window cleaning robots and floor cleaning robots.
We have two of each.
We call this one the Gecko.
Because it walks like a gecko.
And the one behind,
we call it the Glider.
And I think you can see why.
Both of these windows cleaners
are pretty awesome in their own way.
The first model of Geckos
been around for about eight years.
The second model of Gliders
been around for about four years.
So one's got more technology.
But the other ones pretty simple to use
and they both do the job.
The Gliders better for frameless glass.
Although the Gecko itself, will,
it will detect the edge of frameless glass as well.
You can see it's walking up the top of the window
and it's going to walk its way down like a gecko.
The way the Glider works,
it has two patterns:
it will have a N pattern or a Z pattern.
What I'll show you now, is our floor sweepers.
We have again two models.
Ones an entry level model.
This one, is the high level model.
It has the base station that it'll go back to
when it's finish charging after,
finish running after about 120 to 150 minutes.
That's plenty of time to do a whole room.
It has the virtual wall
to stop it going outside
or it'll detect steps.
And you can programme it to set schedule times to run,
day or evening.
So, there's quite a lot of
good technology built into these.
It also has a water tank with a mop
that will sweep up after, clean up after.
So, really good for pet hairs and dust.
I hope you enjoy this demonstration,
if you want to see these products in real life,
come down to the Sydney Home Show, please.

a Budzyński zrobi wszystko, by uniknąć konfrontacji z byłą kochanką.
Jak się domyślacie, ona będzie sprytniejsza.
Gdy zakochani dojadą na miejsce, Chodakowska skoczy do galerii na zakupy.
Będzie przeglądała sklepowe półki w poszukiwaniu wieczorowej sukienki
a tymczasem Waszkiewicz zaatakuje jej partnera.
Anka zadzwoni do Madzi zapytać z troską, co właśnie robi.
Gdy Magda zdradzi, że buszuje w sklepach
a Andrzej został sam na krakowskim rynku – Anka od razu go odnajdzie.
Podejdzie do jednej z kawiarni, gdzie w ogródku Budzyński będzie spokojnie popijał kawę.
Zajdzie go od tyłu, zasłoni oczy, a on będzie pewny, że to jego ukochana.
-No i co?
a przebiegła brunetka będzie go szantażować.
Wkrótce zaprosi go nawet do swojego hotelowego pokoju w Warszawie
by omamić go drinkiem i zaciągnąć do łóżka.
gdy Magda będzie spała, wstanie w środku nocy do laptopa.
Powrót Anki do serialu "M jak miłość" oznacza same kłopoty!
że w ten sposób daje Ance okazję do wykorzystania go w paskudny sposób!
Waszkiewicz kompletnie zignoruje to, że Magda i Budzyński są razem w szczęśliwym, kochającym związku.
Zacznie szantażować Andrzeja i w 1411 odcinku "M jak miłość" zmusi go do pocałunku

Ventis Sydney Home Show - Duration: 0:40.
- Hi there, I'm George Gregan.
I'm part of the Ventis team and we're down here
at the ICC Home Show with a great display
of what Ventis is all about.
Everyone's got a roof in their home.
And if you do, that's when Ventis can really come into play.
As you can see, we've got a nice, big filtering system here,
which takes that warm or cool air which is stored
in your roof and distributes it through your home.
It's a really smart, simple system,
and it utilises what's already free,
which is free natural cool air and warm air.
And it costs maybe 20 cents a day.
And what's also important, it's ventilated.
So people who suffer from allergies, you're taken care of.
So come and join the team down here at Ventis
and we can talk through it a little bit more.
See you soon.

BoomerangRed Sydney Home Show - Duration: 2:49.
- Hi, I'm Jeremy from Boomerang Red.
Welcome to the home show in Sydney.
Let me show you some of our products.
Over here we have a crossing,
it is a railway sleeper that has been joined.
We have a beautiful epoxy resin cover over it.
It has a lot of history in it.
If I bring it around here, I can show you a burl,
sometimes life's ups and downs forms some
of the most beautiful things when you allow them to.
So this is a burl.
We use all LED lighting.
Very high efficiency, dimmable, high quality.
We create shelving, both out of reclaimed timber,
as well as timber which we mill,
lighting embedded within them, LED lighting.
Touch this, on/off.
When I hold my finger in, I can dim it, up and down.
Perfect for displaying artwork,
or things that you really want to show,
showcasing your home.
We have bar tops with our dazzle coasters,
lighting which you're able to choose any colour you want,
or you can have them cycle through colours.
Perfect for showing off to friends.
We have our halo light here
with Phillips Hue lighting within it.
So, smart lighting, turn it on and off
from your phone, and then a whole range of options.
Again with a touch of this light
you're able to turn them on, and off.
Over here we have an natural sculptures.
So these are tree stumps which we find and then light up.
We put a resin over it to protect them,
but the natural colour of this tree stump is formed
over 100/150 years.
Over here we have the ultimate bar
and so, we'll build a countertop for you.
You'll have beautiful sleeper lights made out
of railway sleepers.
We have speakers embedded in the lights.
Again, you can turn the lights on
and off just by touching them.
If I take you around to the other side of a bar,
and take you over here, glass shelving,
we've got a refrigerator in here,
you can put in a home brew kit.
We have power which goes up and down.
So you can keep it safe, keep it away from the moisture,
USB ports built in.
It's on wheels so you can wheel it in and out of your space.
Personalised sign on the front.
So, for us this is our Boomerang Red Bar
but this could be your name as well.

Vergola Sydney Home Show - Duration: 0:55.
- We're at the Sydney Home Show and this is Vergola stand.
And I'm going to show you how
this operates and opens and closes
the Vergola.
And it also runs
with a rain sensor.
And the rain sensor will close it automatically,
and open when it's dry.
It is made of Colorbond still.
It has its own governing system.
And it runs off of twelve volt motor.
And it comes with six years warranty
on all on the building work,
and five years on the motors.
It's a very slight and slow movement,
it's not massively quick so you can
stop it anywhere you wish.
If you want to see it in real life and how it works,
come down to the Sydney Home Show,
and have a look, and have a touch, and a feel.

Domus Lighting Sydney Home Show - Duration: 2:30.
- Welcome to the Domus Lighting Stand
here at the Sydney Home Show.
Come with me, and I'll show you around.
I'm gonna show you our brand new downlight range.
This is a Cell series range, which is completely modular.
We brought it out basically so it's user-friendly,
not only for the homeowners,
but for architects, for designers.
The beauty of this range is that it's completely dimmable.
Okay?
You switch it on, switch it off.
I can hold the button in,
I can dim them down to my required level
and I can dim them up to my required level.
We've got another range that is new to Domus,
not new to the industry, but new to Domus,
and that's our exterior wall light range.
Ladies and gentlemen, we do this in a multitude of colours,
multitude of styles, adjustable,
fixed, twin adjustable, twin fixed, up/down,
and one of the more popular colours, which is copper.
So that's a real copper.
The beauty of copper, as we all know,
is that it will weather out in the front of the garden,
in the back of the garden.
It'll get a nice sort of green tinge to it.
So one of the great things about this range too,
when we use an LED lamp,
is that we're gonna get an instant startup.
So when we're turning them off and on,
they're an instant start up.
They also can be dimmable as well,
depending on your situation or your application.
The beauty of this range, ladies and gentlemen,
is that you get this wonderful effect on the wall
and we've tried to simulate that with a bit of wallpaper
which looks like an external brickwork.
Okay?
A little bit more of a modern style,
we get into our Block series
which comes in two sizes, three different colours.
So you can have white, black, silver.
You can have two different colour temperatures,
being warm white and white to suit your application.
So as you can see now with those other lights
around them off, you really get the effect
that these wall lights can do for your home.
So one other thing, ladies and gentlemen,
that I want to show you, is our new Magneto range.
We're the only person in Australia
that's got this technology on board,
and it works with electromagnetic induction.
Once I plug this fitting into the housing,
it'll then illuminate like this one is here.
Basically, these lights will operate underwater,
water in them, any dirt or any other substance
or any foreign objects inside of the fitting.
So gone are the days, ladies and gentlemen,
where you've got an in-ground light
that's gonna stop working with dirt,
moisture or water in it.
Thanks for visiting us here at the Domus Lighting Stand
at the Sydney Home Show.
I hope to see you down here soon.
If you need anything, please contact us
at www.domuslighting.com.au.
Have a good day!

select your cycle, press start, and away you go.
A few more products that we've got on display as well.
Full range of colours with the mini dishwasher,
however, also the drawer dishwasher which
is something that we've got coming out very shortly.
