How I Style My Curly Hair - Duration: 3:50.
See, it's a perfect little curl.
It went up!
Most of you guys already know that
I have curly hair.
Yeah, I do.
And while I love to straighten and blow dry it
for most of my videos and on Instagram and
everywhere else, I also like to keep it curly and natural.
Many, many of y'all have DMed me asking me what
products I use, how I style it and other
like curly girl problems.
I'm gonna show you my actual process of
how I style it but before we get into that
I'm gonna show you the pre-styling process.
Yeah!
I have coloured hair and if anybody has coloured hair
out there, remember to always use a
sulphate free shampoo, remember, remember this!
Never skip out on conditioner.
Conditioning your hair is key over here.
You can also swap a conditioner with a hair mask
if your hair is feeling really, really dry that day.
Make sure the hair mask is really thick and creamy.
It tames the frizz and hydrates your hair.
Woo!
Once you towel dry your hair,
make sure it's still a little damp.
Once it is, toss the towel!
Use a serum.
Very, very important for when you style your hair.
Apply it from your mid-lengths to your ends.
Just comb through it...
The remaining stuff that you have,
just put it on top.
Now once you're done with your serum comb through
your hair, use a wide tooth comb to do this.
Make sure you take out any knots in your hair
because you can't style your hair having knots.
Now for the main step!
I split my hair down the middle into two sections.
First section
Clip it.
Second section you work on.
What I do is go from the bottom and work
your way to the top, split it.
Take small sections not too big not too thick
I'm gonna start twirling it, so see this?
Taking your finger, use this and
twirl around your hair,
drag it below.
Twirl, twirl, twirl
and hold it.
And then release it very slowly
and let it rest there.
Because I twirl that the other way,
this one I'm gonna twirl inward.
Why I twirl it inward and outward
is because every curl shouldn't look the same.
So, it'll just look more natural and...
Pretty!
Just keep scrunching the lower part of your hair
so that the curls won't completely dry but
they mold properly,
Once I reach my ear,
I stop going upward and I split it horizontally.
Now, when you come to the front sections,
the face framing sections,
twirl away from your face.
Just twist it, very tightly.
Okay? Like this.
Twist the sections, make it in like a bun
and clip it while you work on the other section.
There you go!
Twirl this side and then,
twist.
I'm gonna let this hair set
and go through my phone.
And we are done with Instagram.
What you gonna now is
remove the clip, scrunch the hair.
Give it a lil' tszuj!
And we are done!
Now you're all set with these beautiful curls
that you completed by yourself at home.

It's actually really yummy, really easy.
I have been making it for like a long time.

Hey what's up? This is Alan, I am a journalist and this is Ingresse na Arte, my culture channel on YouTube.
In this video, I talk about theater and about the play "Agosto".
Family gatherings cause a mixture of feelings. There is, of course, a joy at meeting distant cousins and uncles.
But at any moment, problems of the past or present come out and, saying a bad expression, all the shit is thrown in the fan.
This happens in the story of the play "Agosto", on display at the Sesc Consolação theater until next Sunday, August 5th, in the city of Sao Paulo.
In this piece, that lasts more than two hours, it is shown the routine of the Weston family,
that gathers after the mysterious disappearance of the patriarch Beverly.
He leaves his wife, Violet, who has mouth cancer and who is addicted to drugs, alone
Her three daughters remain in her life: Karen, who comes back to her mother's place with a new husband,
Ivy, a resentful woman for being the only daughter left in her hometown to care her parents,
and Barbara, her oldest daughter who has to deal with a marriage in crisis and a rebellious teenage daughter.
In addition to these women, there are other characters, such as husbands, sons-in-law and others.
From this family gathering and Violet's sour view,
issues related to alcoholism, drugs addiction, misconduct, racism and harassment come out in the scenes of this play, directed by Andre Paes Leme.
In one of the awesome scenes of this piece, when all 11 characters are gathered for a dinner, sitting on chairs strategically scattered on stage,
offensive comments and ironies are said, which makes the audience either feel the tension of this sequence or laugh nervously since it is a uncomfortable situation.
With 42 years of career, Guida Vianna plays Violet. For her performance, she won the Cesgranrio award for Best Actress.
During her exciting speech to thank, that lasted for about 11 minutes, she drew attention to the difficulty of producing plays in Brazil nowadays.
At this point, she mentioned the actor Antonio Fagundes, sitting in the audience.
She said: "I would love to be like you Fagundes who can take to theater 700 thousand people in a run. We do performances in rooms with 80 seats".
She also criticized celebrities who have thousands of followers on social media.
"I was chosen to star the play 'Agosto' even without thousands of followers on Instagram".
Guida Vianna is the soul of this play, that has an awesome cast,
in which I highlight Leticia Isnard, who plays Barbara, Violet's oldest daughter,
and Eliane Costa, who plays Violet's sister, a woman who throws all her frustration on her son.
By the way, I would say that frustration is a feeling that resumes the Weston family.
And there is another sentence, said by Barbara, that says a lot about this family. In one scene, she says:
"Thank God we can't tell the future. We'd never get out of bed"
"Agosto" is the first Brazilian version of "August: Osage County" text, written by Tracy Letts.
The original version opened in Chicago in 2007 and a year later opened on Broadway, where it became a huge success.
It has won several Tony awards, including Ffr Best Play and Best Direction.
This text also was adapted for cinema. The movie starring Meryl Streep as Violet and Julia Roberts who plays Barbara was nominated for two Oscars.
In Brazil, the title of this movie is "Álbum de Família".
It is a really nice movie, but I have to say that the play "Agosto" is much better.
